What up ladies and gentlemen? How you guys doing? Top of the week, top of the week, top of the week. Happy Monday, April 13th. It's your boy DJ Fs. Let these motherfuckers know blog vlog, excuse me, going down right now. I gotta get used to that. Gotta get used to that. But um, I'm getting used to this, so I appreciate the love, man. And I appreciate everybody chiming in, hanging out, you know, dealing with your boy um every uh day, weekday, excuse me, at 1 p.m. Eastern time. All right, so man, what a weekend. Um, big shout to Tito Love in the building, Mark Payne. What's up, family? We gotta get to work. We gotta get to work. Hakeem Green in the building. Yeah, we here early. We are in here early. Tinker Love in the building, Richard Felix in the building, Cyberman in the building, Ms. J. Rabbit is in the building. How you doing, family? Team Epps Wendy in the building. He said, Monday's my bitch. I guess so. I guess so. You know, some people out there can't wait for Monday. Do you know that? Some people for some reason can't wait till Monday. Why? Because those are the ones that love to grind, those are the ones that just love to hustle. They're like, Boy, I can't wait to get in the office and just, you know, I mean, making them phone calls and making sure that money comes in. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I I totally understand it. I totally understand it. Jason Halter in the building. Coffee Black Music was popping, King. I see you. How's everything going, man? Well, so yeah, you know, I mean, some people just enjoy Mondays. Um, I enjoy Monday. I I do enjoy Monday. Because sometimes Monday, you know, you get unexpected offers, phone calls, messages that be like, damn, you know, I didn't see that coming. Word. Word up. So yeah, man. Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, we we we here. We are here now. Want to talk about a couple of things, ladies and gentlemen. Um, I want to talk about a couple of things. Money, money day instead of Monday, money day. Yeah, you're absolutely right. Um by the way, Hakim Green, man, he got a new joint called Reckless. I'm gonna need y'all to go check that out, man. Reckless is a dope joint. Um, please, please, please, please go check that out. Hey, it it yeah, yeah, it's pretty dope. It's pretty dope. All right, mafia lobo was popping. Coffee, send me that music. And speaking about sending me music, hey, tonight at 10 p.m. We're gonna get to what I have to talk about in a minute. 10 p.m. tonight is new music Monday at 10 p.m. tonight. All right, man. So yeah, send that over so we could play some. Actually, I think my list is filled up for tonight, but still go to the website djabs.com so you could be um on the playlist for tomorrow um or this week, period. Because um, all of a sudden, it's Monday to Friday, new music at 10. All right, and and I heard some of the joints on the playlist tonight. Oh man, we got some heaters, so get ready. Nessa, how are you doing? Good morning, yeah, yeah. DJ Blast was popping, family. It's ironic in the building, yeah. So, okay, guys, uh and and I I want your honest opinion, okay? And I want you to leave it in the comment box, all right. First of all, I never wish death upon no man or no woman, nobody at all. But I'm always gonna say rest in peace to Africa and Bombada because he has done something for the music culture, he has done something huge in the hip-hop culture. There's no ifs, ands around nothing around that. There's this it is what it is, he has done something for the hip-hop culture. Now, there's another side that does not agree with his, you know, the man he is or he was, you know. I mean, and and and and and we all know what that is, all right. So, my question is to you. Do you and and yes, everybody deserves a second chance in life, they do, they do, but I do understand that some don't want to give second chances, you know. I mean, that there's people I I I know that did something dirty to me, and I swear to god, I they don't deserve no second chance in my life. They don't. I I truly get it, I truly get it. But are you agreeing in not saluting African Bombada because of what he did? Or it's zero tolerance and you don't care for the man. I wanna I want you to leave it in the comment box. Or it's whatever, salute Africa Mabada, thank you for what you've done for the hip hop culture. What do you think? I want you to leave it in the comment box because I want to know what it is. Because I had a conversation with somebody, and and and and you know, and and I'm not I had no problem with his decision, you know. I mean, if they say, yo, I don't want to, I'll never ever play a song from African Bombada because of what he did, I get it. I truly get it. I truly get it. Um, and that goes for any other the R. Kelly's, the Diddy's, the I get it. I truly get it. Um, me, DB Aussie was good, Haitian. Me, it's like this right here, these turntables, and when I go perform, that's what pays my bills. This is what makes my legacy. This is what makes me the greatest DJ in the world. It doesn't make me the greatest DJ in the world because I played something somebody did wrong. It makes me good and great because the way I perform. So I never I I never, you know, try to cancel people in my mix because of what they did. What they I I don't know, man. It's just me. I think two things don't have to do with each other, but then again, I get it. You know, there's something called morals. I I get it, I truly do. Gotta remember it all, the good and the bad. Yeah. To each his or her own, I understand, and in fairness, the uh alleged victims, bam, did not do the work to make it right. I I truly get it. I truly understand. I truly understand. Um, so back to what I was saying, you know. I when I come to perform, you know what I mean? I I don't care if I don't like the guy Tiger because of what he did to me long time ago. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna stop playing his music, you know what I mean? I don't know, man. I don't know. It's just really weird. This music industry is really weird. Cause at the end of the day, you know what I think? I think we've reached to a point where well, this is my opinion. The music industry is kind of weird in the sense that me? I don't give a fuck about none of that. Because none of that gives a fuck about me. It's just what it is. These record labels, these artists will use me today and they don't know me in the next couple of years. They done forgot about me. And we see that a lot. You know what I mean? I don't think the government gives a fuck about me. I don't give, I don't think certain it is what it is. So my mentality of this music industry is kind of different. So I'm sorry if I'm selfish with my thoughts, but when it comes to this here, it's all about me. It's all about me. So if I'm on Rock the Bells, so what? I'm gonna play Africa Mambada. It is what it is, it is what it is. Like, I got a job to do, I got a job to do, and that's my job and how I perform. Anyways, you know, I just wanted to ask you guys, you know, what's your thought on you know um what's going on online that you see with African Mimbada, but at the same time, rest in peace, African Bombada. Um, and and I'm I'm sorry, you know. I'm not gonna say I'm sorry, but thank you for what you've done and with with the music culture and and and how you got things started at one point. Cause you did that. It is what it is. Gotta play. Listen, man. You know, uh, you know, that's just me. Like I said, I gotta pay my bills. There's somebody that cuts me a check for doing what I do great. Alright. So me going on Rock the Bells this past weekend and saying rest in peace to Africa Mimbada was not wrongdoing. There was nothing wrong about that. There wasn't. Now, what he has done in the past, there is something wrong with that. And that's him. He has to, well, he had to fix it, you know what I mean? And do right. And and and make sure, you know, he clears up his name. But enough about that. Um, rest in peace for Africa Bombada. It just gotta be better. You're absolutely right. Uncle Phil was popping. DJ Popo in the building was good. No matter what he did, you can't deny the impact he made for the music culture. You can't. You can't. Shout to Modified in the building, man. He got a dope joint. We played Friday on New Music at 10. That was crazy. You know what I mean? Um, Kid Quest was popping, homie. Brooking collective apparel in the building. How you doing? DC Studios 954 Broad County was popping. Nessa says second chances depend really on what was done. Is it something that could be forgivable? I mean, some have it hard to separate the person talent. Yeah, absolutely right. What you need help with? What you need help with? I don't do nobody's laundry. No, I'm just kidding. Oh man, Michelle, how you doing? Um, so something else. Uh let's move on to something else right quick. Have you ever warned somebody about a bad influence person they hanging out with? Have you ever warned somebody about an individual that's bad influenced that they hanging out with? And when the shit hits the fan, you have to hit him with the I told you so. Have you ever ran into a situation like that? I have. I have. But nowadays, I'm on some, you know what, he's a grown man. He let him find out for himself because I don't want to look like a hater. Yeah, I mean, let him find out for himself. You ever ran into a situation like that? You ever ran into a situation like that? I'll be like, man, why you hanging with that guy, man? Yo, you know, even yo, you know, yeah. And all I could do is just smirk and be like, man, let him find out. Let him find out. And then when they do find out, be like, Your abs, man, I should have listened to you. Yeah, you should have, but hey, I ain't want to come off as a hater. You get that all the time. Hey, I ain't want to come off as a hater, but yeah. Yeah, man. You just gotta let them find out for them for you know by themselves. Let them find out. Well, what fuck around and find out. Yep, you're absolutely right. Ironic. Living, let learn is the same for them peoples. All they could do is warn you. All we could do is warn you. Yeah, all we could do is warn you. Be like, man, stop hanging with that fuck nigga, man. Yeah, man. So have you ever warned somebody or your friend, maybe a family member, about a bad influence that they hung on hanging out with? Leave it in the comment box, man. Leave it in the comment box. Oh man. So, yo, uh, you know what, man? You know, these guys are screaming, oh, I'm from the streets, I'm from the street. Yo, you know that's dead, right? That street stuff is dead. I don't care how gangster you are, that that street stuff, that gangster stuff is dead to me. None of y'all are keeping it real. None of y'all. Especially the rap game. I'm sorry. I am sorry. You know what? That stuff that I saw with 6ix9ine, what he said about Gucci, I ain't gonna lie, man. I was laughing. I was laughing my ass off. Cause might be he might be right, man. I want to see what what what people are gonna do, how they're gonna act, how they're gonna respond after what y'all said about that man. You know, I'm sorry, I'm not on no six-styne side, or I'm not applauding his behavior or the way he's talking, like, but it's true. It's true, Pooh Sheisty. What are you gonna do right now? What is your decision? I mean, you have a lot to lose. Some of them other guys you was hanging with don't have nothing to lose, too. They have nothing to lose. You pooh shice got a lot to lose. What is your move? What is your next move? What are you gonna do? It's true. What are you gonna do? So, to me, all that street stuff is no, mm-mm. Mm-mm. And some of y'all don't like the truth. Yes, Wendy, they don't like the truth. Too many streets camera, yeah. They there, they watching. Yeah, yeah, too much movies. Y'all watching too much movies as well. A lot of these cats are police Karnak music, you're a fool, but yeah, I yeah, you're right. But I am I'm looking forward to see some of these guys next move. Cause do you want to stay in jail for over 50 years? Do you? What's your next move? Huh? Listen, let me tell you something. You do something to me, I'm telling. I'll tell you straight up right now, I'm telling. Ooh! Yo, you know what he did? That's me. That's me. Call me a snitch. I don't give a damn. You do something to me, I'm telling. And I'm gonna smile with a sprite in my hand. Yo, it's not like me and you went to go do some gangster stuff and then we both got caught out, and I'm telling, nah, I'm not that type of person. But you do something to me? Oh man. Hey, you know what he did? That's me. That's me. DJ, sir. See how you yo. I'm not playing with him. Don't play with me. You're right. You're right. Bransaws, how you doing? Good morning. Malpale, I'm gonna talk. I'm gonna hum like a bird. You know what that nigga did to me? Oh man, oh man. So did you see Justin Bieber and Coachella DJing with a laptop off of YouTube and one mic and killed the party? Let me tell you something, man. Don't say it can't be done. If you're a great DJ, you'll find a way to rock a party without a controller, without two turntables. You'll find a way to rock a party. And trust me, I've done it plenty of times. Give me an aux cable and watch me go to work. Give me an aux cable and watch me go to work. Ironic, you stupid. Yeah, don't own nobody 10K at the cassette. Yo, did you see offset jump on stage with the wheelchair? Offset gangster, yo. Offset is gangster. Oh man. But yeah, Justin, yo, Justin Bieber did that. Went on stage at Coachella, opened his laptop, turned on the YouTube, made sure he had premium so the ads won't go on. Took the mic and rocked, smashed the party down. Justin Bieber, salute. You made us DJs proud. That was absolutely dope. Oh man. Oh man. DJs, are you cutting it up and and you're moving to the song too quick? Let me tell you something, man. If you're doing a two, three hour set, you shouldn't be doing that. And it depends if you're mixing the the the sample record with with the remix of. I get it. You know what I mean? But if you're burning yourself out, like nah, stop that. Some people see me do it. Only time I do it and I'm going mixing maybe 50 records in a time period zone, it's pick it's probably because I got a 30-minute set. Why am I getting a 30-minute set? Because I'm sharing uh a set with a bunch of other DJs. So guess what? In a 30 minute set, I'm not going to let my songs breathe and give you 10 to 15 songs in 30 minutes. For that, I'm just gonna plug in my laptop like Justin Bieber and just let the song play. No, if you give me a 30-minute set, I'm gonna do something called a DJ Epps Mega Mix. And there's only certain DJs that could do this. Not every DJ could do this. Because at this time, you're doing a DJ show. You're doing an exhibition. You know what I mean? But if you had a party and you're rocking out for two, three hours, all that quick mix thinking, yo, slow down. Slow down. Slow down. Yeah, let the second verse play. Yeah. Yeah. J Beans was popping. I appreciate you. I thrive on that because that's absolutely a DJ's job to get the party lit. You know what I mean? Oh, DJ15 Plus. I appreciate that, man. What he's talking about is uh the blends that I have on my bandcamp, man. I did uh uh uh a joint call the demo exclusive, the exclusive demo, excuse me, the exclusive demo with my boy DJ Demo, and he did 20 RB blends. I mean he did 10 RMB blends, I did 10 RMB blends, and they smashing right now, man. So DJs, if you want to pick up uh my blends on my bandcamp, you are more than welcome. DJ ebbs.bandcamp.com and and and go grab a man. Like, you know, I mean they don't have my DJ name on it. They might have the uh uh the let these motherfuckers know tag on them, but you know I mean you you you know go ahead, you know what it is. Rock Malinko. Hey man, yo, thank you. I appreciate that. And yes, K S one did shut it down. Actually, that had to be the boom bat party of the year in Miami, Florida, in South Florida. Had to be, had to be the energy, the lighting, the staging, the the opening DJ. It was a complete movie, it was a complete great party. Hip hop was in the air, you know what I mean. DJ Storm NYC was popping. Yeah, man. Yeah, man. Um, did you check out that Remy Mart freestyle? Oh my god, on the WYFL. Oh my god, that rhythm, the reggae rhythm that everybody's playing. She did a freestyle on that on the radar. Oh my god. One thing about Remy boy, she could snap, she could rap. Like, don't sleep on Remy. And she was giving bars and she was also taking shots. If I'm not mistaken, to Clarissa and Papu's man, Remy Ma is one of them. Don't sleep on Remy Ma. Remy Ma is one of them. Remy ate yo, sh yo, kilt it. J Beans, you're right. Kilt it. And if you didn't see it, go look at the on the radar, Remy Ma and watch how she snaps on that. Oh my god. Oh my god. Yeah, she did shot her bullets where it needed to be shot at. Yep, definitely. D walk just walked in the building, was popping. So yeah, Remy Ma kilted. Kilt it. Go check it out. Salute Remy Ma. Terror Squad was popping. Yeah. Is that still a terror squad? Is it uh, you know, Joe is doing his thing, he's killing it as usual. But is there still a terror squad? Uh there is, right? Yeah, there is. It gotta be. I see the chain piece of some. It's just, you know, I think when I think terror squad now, today, April 13, 2026, I think of Fad Joe, Tony Sunshine, and Reming Ma. That's it. That's it, right? Am I right? That's Terra Squad. That's it. Joe done cleared out anybody that doesn't need to be part of the group, that's that's doing some foul stuff, whatever. So, Terra Squad, that's what I see. Fat Joe, Tony Sunshine, Remy Ma. That's it. That's it. Joe, don't add no more. Just leave it like that and live the Terra Squad life. Let the legacy keep on. That's my opinion. Shout out to the Terra Squad family. Rich was popping, homie. Um DJ Surge was popping, homie. Right, right, right. Raul, rest in peace. Oh man. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yep. Alright, uh, last but not least, and I'm gonna talk about my WWE, I'm gonna talk to my WWE fans. Um is your boy Epps with the WWEpps conversation. Why is little Yachty on the microphone? I'm never gonna knock his artistry, never gonna knock him as a person either. But when he gets on the microphone in front of that WWE universe, it's squeaky. It's kind of annoying. Yeah, yeah, it's kind of annoying, Yachty. I'm gonna be honest with you, all right, man. I love how you're backing up, you know. I mean, Trick Williams, yeah, Mr. Lemon Pepper Stepper. I love it, I love it. I love how they even gave you a position to be by the ring and do what you do and even get on the mic. I'm jealous. I would love to play that position, but your voice be squeaky a little bit, man. Whoop that trick! Yeah! Oh no, no, no. Kill the yeah, kill the yeah, you little yachty. You know what I mean? Or put some bass in the voice. Yeah, whoop that trick, yeah, can't be doing the whole crowd. Whoop that trick, yeah! You can't do that. No, no, we gotta fix that. We gotta fix that, little yacht.
