What up, ladies and gentlemen? What's going on? Hey, what's the deal? Let these motherfuckers know vlog going down right here for you and yours. Um, you know how we do it daily, live and direct for you and yours. Now, today is Thursday, April 30th, right? Today is Thursday, April 30th. We're about to exit that April vibe, you know what I mean? Because let me tell you something, man. I done went viral in April. I'm gonna be honest with you. I done went viral in April. No, no, no. Real talk. Real talk. I was all over the gram. I was all over Twitch, all over Facebook, YouTube. Man, you know what I mean? Like, I I couldn't. It was overwhelming, but it's a blessing as well. So, you know, thank you for everybody that helped me um go viral with the reposting, the postings, the the shout-outs, the birthday shout outs. You know what I mean? Um uh, you know, I'm I'm all about DJing. I'm I'm just learning, you know, this content creating thing, this social media thing, and going viral and hitting a million views in one month. Like, I'm like, oh damn, I did that. Like, yo, you know what I mean? So, you know, you know, and I know I'm not doing it alone, and you know, you guys are helping me out, so I appreciate that. I truly do. Um, NBS Beauty was popping. Ticker Love in the building, my girl Wendy in the building, red party in the building, brand song in the building. Oh man, cute arranged in the building. I see ya, Phil, I see you. Word up, J Van was popping. Oh man, so like Cody Rhodes, what do you want to talk about? What you want to talk about? Um Black Alicious. Ooh, Black Alicious dropped Blazing Arrow on MCA Records 24 years ago. Yeah, big shout to the producers, Chief XL, Quest Love, DJ Shadow, High Tech, Ben Harper, uh, Cut Chemist, and a whole lot more, man. Yeah, so um, big shout to Black Alicious. You know what I mean? This all happened in 2022. Um, no, excuse me, 2020. Excuse me, 2002. All right, Jay Chinx just walked in the building, was popping. Um, and New Jersey Carol was popping. Love you too. Love you guys too, man. Um, we had a great time last night, man. New music was definitely popping. Um, New Music Radio has taken off quickly. Like, I've been doing this live ever since you know the pandemic. Um, me being inspired by D Nice when he turned on the gram and started DJing. I just told myself, you know, how can I do something different? I don't want to look like the same old DJ just turning on the gram and DJing. How what can I do different? And I said, well, actually, somebody else said, Ebbs, do what you do best. Play new music from all these artists that you that love to F with you. And man, ever since it's been taking off. But like this year, we done turned the gram to do music radio, and it has been like overwhelming. It has been uh the submissions has been popping, popping from everywhere, all types of artists from everywhere. I've been hearing rock on my set, I've been hearing RB, I've been hearing gospel on my new music radio. Man, and and and and you know, definitely some Bay Area stuff be coming through my pipeline, New York stuff be coming through, and it's great. EDM, definitely EDM comes through. Afro beats it, yo, you know what? It was a great idea that me and my team came up with this because we knew that these artists need a platform to break their record, a platform or DJ to have confidence to play their music and get the taste makers, everybody in the chat to go ahead and just you know what I mean, vibe with the situation. Celebrity chef more reason to build what up. Um, so you know it it's it's it's been a blessing with New Music Radio. So, you know, we do that at 10 o'clock. We'll be back at it tonight. 10 o'clock, hits after hits, brand songs. You ain't lying. And you yourself, brand song, has not missed. You've been coming with it, and I appreciate the submissions, I appreciate the music. All right, me sitting here playing this music is also like therapy. I'm gonna be like, you know, I'm just out here listening to the new music. I'm not listening to the same 25 radio songs on the radio, I'm not listening to the same playlist everybody's listening to. Like, I'm actually listening to new music, and you'll be shocked what we'll be hearing. You'll be shocked. You'll be like, oh damn, that person got a voice. Oh damn, that person got bars. Oh man, the production is dope. Sometimes, sometimes we know, once in the blue moon, we do run into a ah, this was a you know what I mean, you know. Once you see my face, once you once you see me hit you with this right here, or I scratch my head, you know the song is probably not too, you know what I mean? Now, so we're talking about new music, man, radio, yeah, yeah, yeah. When I hit you with this right here, or if you're not seeing me dance at all, yeah, there's something wrong with the record. And we're gonna immediately blame it on the engineer. We're gonna ble we're going to immediately blame it on the engineer. Because the engineer is the first person that shouldn't have let you walked out of that studio with that. That's it. That's it. The engineer should have known better. Nah, nah. Go back in the booth, go do it again. Nah, that didn't sound right. Nah, we ain't cut it right. The engineer, I blame it all on the engineer first things first. All right. If you hear me say, oh, the engineer didn't do a good job, it's because of it's his fault. And not only that, he's not your friend. Why would he let you walk out the studio with the joint sounding like that? Oh man, oh man. And if you happen to be the artist and you're the engineer, hey, you know, I mean, I guess that's uh uh a way of of listen, at the end of the day, we're giving you gems, we're giving you props, we're also giving you criticism. So please, I hope you know how to take all of that and just you know fix it and be better. All right, I bet. So a lot of people asking, where can I get the DJ Epps merch? You know what I mean? They see the DJ Epps uh uh, you know what I mean? Uh yo, it's too easy, man. Just hit the link. I'm gonna hit I'm gonna put the link on there for you. All right, right quick. Merch. Um submit music. Or book me. How about that? Yeah, you could book me too. You could book me for your party, your festival, your orgy. Uh no, I'm just kidding. You know what I mean? Ladies, I'll come lay it down. Me and wifey, we'll pull up. You know what I mean? Oh man. Uh, there goes the link right there. Let me put it up there. There you go. Djabs.com. All right, man. Uh, if you want to get the DJ Ebbs merch, if you want to submit your music for new music radio, go ahead. If you want to book me, the link is right there, djebbs.com. All right. All right. All right, okay. So um, and uh other things happening in this world. Um, big shout to the baby, man. The baby had been seeing his best rapper alive. I've been seeing this too, man. You know, everybody's been putting up their best rapper alive. I think Complex put out one with um your best, uh, might have been uh top 50 or 100 best rapper alive, or more most paid rapper, I think. One of those. But the best rapper alive, we've been seeing that all the time, right? Everybody has their top five, top 10, whatever. So the baby, you know, I mean, he has his, he sees his, and uh, since he's busted on the scene, you know, they asked him what was up. And he agreed that he deserved to be mentioned alongside hip hop's so-called big three, Drake, Kendrick Lamore, and J. Cole. Okay, that's uh that's a conversation right there. And I'm not knocking the baby because I ain't gonna lie, man. The baby is one of my favorite um this era artists out right now. The baby, he's smacking it right now, man. He's he's he's he's killing it. He's killing it, and he's staying in this lane. He knows how to, you know, I mean, shake hands, kiss babies, smile, you know, promote his music, and so on. Word, word up. So big shout to the baby. Now, do you think the baby is right when he says with the best rapper alive, his name should be part of that big three conversation? Drake, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole. Leave it in the comment box. I want to know the baby. Should he be one of your top best rapper alive? Mentioned along with the greats as uh Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. Do you think so? Leave it in the comment box. Let me know. Because I, you know, I you know, I I need to know. I want to know. Yeah, absolutely. Lee shout out to the baby. Oh man, the beach videos, yeah. Those are some of the things that's making me go viral. Like, I'm the only artist that the only DJ that brought artists on South Beach on the sand to perform with me, and we had a great old time. We had a great old time. We had a great old time. Legacy, I uh talk to me. Do you believe that? Like, you don't believe that. Yeah, man. And it was such a sunny day. I got burnt. I got burnt. I forgot to put some uh uh sunscreen, sunblock. Yeah, nigga peeling. Look at this. God damn. Plugman to you, what's popping? It said Brooklyn in the house. All right, oh man, so big shout to the baby with that. Now, Michael Jackson, the new film centered on the rise of the king of pop. Stun theaters with the 97 million. The 97 million. No, it's not, it's not the documentary. All right, go check out the movie, man. 97 million domestic debut at 217 million worldwide in its first week. Michael Jackson, you know what, wifey, we gotta go see that. We gotta go see that. We gotta go see Mike. We gotta go check out the story, we gotta go check out what's going on. What's the talk about this movie, this film with Michael Jackson? So, congratulations to the theater. Congratulations to Michael, the family. Um, man, that that that gross is unbelievable. But it's Michael Jackson, what else do you expect? Right? Nestle, you gotta go check it out soon. I heard it's good too. We gotta go check that out. We gotta go check that out. Legacy, you right. The baby got them catchy records. You notice he's been doing them sturdy records too, like them throwback booty shaking music records too. But I'm gonna be honest with you, the baby that I like, oh man, is when he first came out. Like the baby has some joints. This right here. That rock star? Oh my god, that was it right there. That one was it right there for me. Shout to the baby. Yeah, yeah. But the bars go to the underground artist, all right. Alright. Wendy, you don't like the baby? Or you don't like Michael Jackson? Which is it? There's a big difference right there. Alright. Either barber 365 in the building was popping. Yeah, man. Yeah, man. Hope everybody's Thursday's doing good. Benny B, Benny P was popping. Um, you gotta love MJ. Now, my Michael Jackson, my little surprise Michael Jackson at the improv comedy club threw people off. But when he hit you with that Billy Jean and he mm mm mm mm and he hit you with that, uh, and the moon, what? Oh man, everybody was on the floor. Everybody was like, oh my god. If I ain't see the movie, I'm enjoying this Epps at the improv. Oh man, the improv was such a great time, man. Great, great time. And I can't wait to do the next one. I can't wait to do the next one. Big shout to rapper Shine. Is he still a rapper? Is Shine still a rapper? Is he still making music? I heard he's probably coming out with a mu uh an album. I don't know if I saw that right. But is Shine still doing music? Is he getting ready to put out a new song? A new album? Let me know. All right, but Shine was honored with the key to Brooklyn as official Shine Day. Ooh, he's flat bush. Congratulations, Shine, congratulations. Shine Day, yeah, he got the key to Brooklyn. Let me ask you something. What is it that you need to achieve in order to get the key to the city or a a part of the city? Like, what is it that you have to achieve? What is it that you have to do in order to receive a key to the city? Leave it in the comment box. Leave it in the comment box. I need some instructions because I want a key. I want a key. I seen a lot of my uh artist friends get keys. I've seen DJs of mine get keys. Like, I want a key, I want a street name after me. But let me tell you something. That all that is beautiful. Yes, I would like that. You know what I mean? But just no, man. You don't need that type of recognition to know that you are the fucking man. You don't. You don't. You don't need an approval from anybody to know that you are that dude or that female. You don't. You know who lets you know that you're the motherfucking man. Like, you know, every day I wake up. You know who lets me know that I'm DJ Epps, and nobody will never take that away from me. Nobody built that self-made. Yep. Him upstairs. Him upstairs. Him upstairs. That's the only person that that that lets me know that agrees with my moves, disagrees with my moves. You know what I mean? Our God, the most high, absolutely. The Vans, what's poppin', family? Good stuff the other night, man. That drink was crazy. Um, to get recognition, to get a key to the city is some type of contribution to the community. Yes, yes, yes. What kind of contribution? Does it have to be money or does it have to be, you know, your your blood, sweat, and tears into um making the city become what it is? Because I know business-wise, I know um most people want money. Most people want money. I mean, people tend to overlook that blood, sweat, and tear of what you've done for the city without putting out money. You know what I mean? But you know, it is what it is. BMS in the building was popping. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Um, so the other day, and DJs, let me ask you this question. DJs in the building. Because the other day somebody asked me to post this, you know, uh flyer for him on my timeline, on my on my Instagram. And I'm like, why would I want to post your event and you're not booking me? Who does that? That's not even make sense. And how do you have the guts to actually ask a person like DJ Epps to post your flyer and you don't even book him for your event? He's not even on the lineup. All these other DJs you probably even even never heard of on the flyer, and you want me to post your jive. What kind of selfish disrespect? Um, you know, who does that? Who does that? Oh, you see how many followers I got? You see how many followers I got. Oh my god. And you want to ask my followers to come, but you don't book me. Doesn't make no sense. DJs, do you ever had that problem where somebody asks you to post their flyer and they don't even book you? You're not on the lineup, they ask you to post their flyers. Leave it in the comment. For me, absolutely crazy. DBIC, absolutely crazy. You know I go through that all the time, man. Absolutely crazy. And please stop doing that F shit. Oh man, come on, man. Come on. Harlem's wave sun was popping. He says a little bit of both. Yes, money and recognition from the city and blood set in tears. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I believe it too. I believe it too. The Vens, isn't that a strange approach? Absolutely a strange approach when somebody comes to you, say, Can you post my flyer for me? Me DJ Epps, and they don't even book me. Like, that's absolutely crazy. You ever had that problem? You ever been to that? Did anybody ever disrespect you like that, DJs, or anybody at that? Leave it in the comment box. That's crazy. Selfish disrespect, indeed. We are not dumb. It's true. Absolutely, Richard. Absolutely. All generations would have to agree that you're you're the voice of the street. They come from. Oh absolutely, absolutely. The people that deserve the key never gets the key. Ooh. Mm-hmm. Wendy, uh, you hit a nerve right there. People that deserve to get a key never gets the key. And I think that all boils down to who you know. I mean, you're not part of that clique or that circle. I think that's where that part comes from. You know what I mean? Yeah, Tito. Yo, man. Man, that's crazy work right there. That's crazy work right there. DJs, let me ask you another s another question. You DJ in a party, party's packed, but about like five, ten more minutes till the party's ending. What is it you throw on? What is it you play? What song? What artist you run to stop the party? Get everybody out. What song do you play? What is your to-go-to get the out the club song? What is it that you play, DJs? Leave it in the comment box, all right. I have a I have a uh a secret weapon, it's a goodbye or uh get the fuck out of the bar type of club song. Some people may hit the slow jams, you know what I mean? But slow jams sometimes don't work because they'll may have the the ladies sitting there with no panties on, still singing, not want on go nowhere. So sometimes the slow jams don't work. So, what songs, what artists, what's your go to record you you play to get ready to stop the party? Get them out the club. All right, you got five, ten more minutes. Get out. You ain't got to go home, but you got to get the hell up out. Oh man, Brad Saul, you're not even a DJ. That's some country Texas stuff right there. Hit the road, Jack. And don't you go back? No. That's some country Texas stuff right there. Uh DJ Dax, what up, baby? Yeah. He said, insane clown posse. No way, man. You're about to create a mosh pit up in that party, man. What kind of party are you doing, Tito? Oh my God. Cute arrange. Yep, you're absolutely right on that note. Definitely. Nessa said bed. Jay Holiday. If I were to play Jay Holiday bed to kick everybody out, I'm looking at the last of the last females in the room, looking at him like. Want to put you to bed, bed, bed. Oh man. All right, guys. It's time for me to get up out of here, man. We clowned enough today. Once again, if you want to get the DJ Epps merch, you want to book me, DJ Ebbs.com, or you want to submit your music for New Music Radio, the link is right there. DJebs.com. Hit it. Hit it. Hit it.
