Unfiltered Everyday Sh*t
Unfiltered Everyday Sh*t is a personal reflection podcast for women moving through real life, real feelings, and the quiet changes we don’t always know how to talk about.
Each episode gives you a soft place to land — a moment to pause, breathe, and hear your own thoughts a little clearer, without pretending you have everything figured out.
It’s honest. It’s human. It’s the everyday sh*t we’re all dealing with… finally spoken out loud.
And somewhere in the middle of it, you might find the clarity you didn’t even know you were looking for.

Sometimes what we need doesn't arrive with warning - it just shows up. In this short reflection, I talk about a moment when support appeared right on time, without explanation or expectation and what it means to recognize, accept, and receive what meets us in the middle of figuring things out.
If this episode resonated with you and you're working through something in your own life, I offer 1:1 session - a space to talk things out and gain perspective.

This is unfiltered everyday shit. I'm India Sherelle. This podcast is a space for real conversations about life as it is actually happening. The good, the bad, and everything in between. It's unfiltered, it's honest, and it's unapologetic. Some episodes are reflective, some of raw, so let's talk about it. Welcome. I'm your host, India Sherelle. Today's episode come from a real time clarity moment. Sometimes things don't show up with fireworks. They don't announce themselves, they just arrived. I remember I was home one day sitting on my bed doing what I always do, just processing life, talking out loud to myself, going through things mentally. Trying to figure out how I was going to navigate a situation I was in at that time, I didn't have all the answers. I just knew I needed some kind of support mentally, and then I got this text message. I looked at it and thought, wait a minute. This person doesn't normally text me. So I responded and said, Hey, this is India. I just received a message from you. Did you mean to send it? They said yes. And then they explained they were holding Bible study classes over Zoom. That was it. No big explanation. No dramatic backstory. Just that what they didn't know and what they still don't know is that I was in a space where I needed something. I needed help. I needed grounding. I needed something outside of myself to hold me steady while I figured things out. That message came right on time. I logged on that Wednesday and here we are almost a year later, and I still show up on Wednesdays now some weeks. Honestly, I can't make it because I'm at work. I'm running around doing a whole lot of stuff, but there's also days when I'm in my office and I have a quiet moment. I log on. If I'm driving in my car and I realize it's Wednesday, I log on because God knew what I needed when I was sitting on that bed trying to figure out how I was going to navigate that space. What's funny is recently there was a Wednesday when I didn't see the link come through and I caught myself thinking. Wait, something's wrong. I realized how much I come to rely on that space, even though there was some Wednesdays I couldn't get there. I still looked for that link. So on the Wednesday and it didn't show up, I reached out, but you know, that told me everything I needed to know. Sometimes things don't show up loudly. Sometimes things don't show up loudly. They don't come wrapped in certainty. They just arrive when you are open enough to receive them. Call it God, call it timing, call it alignment, call it whatever you want. I just know I needed it and when it came, I accepted it. And I hope when someone shows up for you unexpectedly, quietly, right when you need it, you don't question it away. I hope you recognize it. I hope you receive it, and I hope you let it support you for as long as it's meant to. And I'll say this before I close. Thank you. You may never know how much that moment helped me or how much it may have helped someone else too, and that matter more than you'll ever know. So I'll leave you with this question. When something shows up in your life unexpectedly, do you allow yourself to receive it or do you hesitate question it or try to explain it away? Well, that was just me talking it out. This podcast is just freedom. This is me. It's an outlet, it's a voice. It's somewhere I can just speak freely. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for listening.
