Between Sundays FCBC
Between Sundays is a short weekday podcast designed to support Christian discipling in ordinary life.
Each episode is a brief reflection—3-10 minutes—building on the previous Sunday’s teaching and preparing the heart and mind for the next. These reflections are not sermons, debates, or commentary, but pastoral reminders meant to steady attention, reinforce truth, and cultivate faithful habits throughout the week.
Between Sundays is for listeners who want to live thoughtfully, listen carefully, and remain anchored to the gospel beyond the gathered hour of worship.
New episodes are released Monday through Friday.

Welcome to Between Sundays Podcast, a ministry of Forest City Baptist Church, London. Romans 12 10 reads, Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love, in honor, preferring one another. Additionally, Philippians 2 verse 3 says, Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind, let each esteem other better than themselves. Humility is not merely an attitude we admire, it is a way of living we must practice. Jesus taught his disciples to receive his little ones, so today let us make that command visible. First, know to someone who may otherwise be overlooked. Speak to the newer believer, the quiet person, the child, the senior, or the visitor who does not yet know where to belong. Learn a name. Listen without rushing. Receiving people in Christ's name begins by seeing them. Second, make room for another person's needs and growth. A mature church member does not use experience to control the room. Maturity creates space for others to learn, ask questions, serve, and sometimes make honest mistakes. We protect truth without making ourselves the measure of everyone else. Third, watch your tongue and tone. The sermon reminded us that the offending member may not be a literal hand, foot, or eye. It may be the tongue, impatience, quickness to assume the worst, refusal to forgive, or demand to be consulted. Before speaking, ask, is it true? Is it necessary? Will it help this person follow Christ? A correct sentence spoken with a crushing spirit can still do harm. Fourth, surrender one preference for another believer's spiritual good. Preferences are not automatically wrong, but they become dangerous when we treat them as tests of fellowship. Love willingly yields in matters where Scripture has not commanded us to stand. Finally, repair what pride has damaged. If you have wounded someone, take the first step. A simple, honest sentence can open a door. I spoke carelessly, I was wrong. Please forgive me. Humility does not wait for the other person to make repentance easier. Choose one of these practices today. Do not try merely to feel humble. Do the next humble thing. Receive one of Christ's little ones. Prefer another in honor. Use your words to strengthen faith rather than weaken it. The kingdom measure of greatness is not how many people serve us, but how faithfully we serve Christ by caring for his people. This is between Sundays, keeping the truth of God's word before us all week long.
