The brahs discuss annoying and unecessary thoughts that come into mind as you lay down to sleep.

SPEAKER_03

Some professional sleep educated persons tell professional sleepers.

SPEAKER_01

Yo guys watch this.

SPEAKER_03

Don't joke about that. That shit's real. They have competitions and stuff. For sleeping. Yeah, for competition. Competition? Yeah, competition. Yeah, South Korea. Yeah, they have to be a team. I already watched Japan, I don't remember, but they have competitions.

SPEAKER_00

In a world where uh the world it's just too bright. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Wait, wait, wait. Context, you're on the sidewalk, and it's like it's one of those cycle paths.

SPEAKER_03

Okay where it's split between Kote Houssels Platz and there. So you go on the bikeway, the red bikeway, and there's a pedestrian walkway across the bikeway. So people can get to buses and whatnot. So I I'm just riding on the bikeway and I'm stopping for him, and he does this. And it's the only like one of the only times. Yeah, I always, you know, you you always like say like you always get mad in your head. That's like one of the only times I like loudly shouted fuck you. Just shouted fuck you at him and just what did he say? No, he he didn't say anything. He just he just did this and I just went fuck you and then rolled past him.

SPEAKER_04

You sure it wasn't in your mind?

SPEAKER_03

No, no, I said it man. I said it.

SPEAKER_04

I had a similar situation actually. Okay Yesterday, I'll talk about yesterday more in depth later on. Yep. But yesterday as as I was uh I was out, alright. And you know how there are sidewalks split into bike and and pedestrian walking, right? So I was on the bike side walking with no one cares about it. Yeah, and there's a and and there's like there's like this much space, yeah. This much space I know this is going on. Yeah, he's he's behind me, he's like ding ding. I swear to you. I stopped.

SPEAKER_03

I I was like, dude, just drive fucking past me. Yeah, that that's not a real world problem. That that's not a problem in in your world. Drive past me. You're just pretentious at that point. What the fuck? What the fuck?

SPEAKER_04

Dude, and he was so he was such a nerd. He was like 40 with a helmet, dude. Lock in. Yeah, who cares about safety? Be cool.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, be cool. Yeah my god. Just fucking ride past. And you oh my god. Also, it's the same thing when I'm on the bike path and I'm meeting another pedestrian. There's a slow person in front of me. I'm trying to overtake, and there's another like uh woman coming to uh towards me. There's a whole like pedestrian path here. No one's on it. Just give me some space so I can go around. And you know, they do this. Just go around! Now I have to break, right? Now I have to break and put in my lane. My god, just go around! You're making life hard.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna be honest, humanity's so funny. It's such a funny thing with the problems we have. Yeah, I know, man. And obviously, welcome back, guys. To a new episode of The Braz, right? Of the bras.

SPEAKER_03

But no, dude, shit's humanity's so fucked, man.

SPEAKER_04

We're so it's such a complicated society. I don't know, it's just funny how the biggest problem in a man's life is just how a person on a bike can't decide where they're going.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but that that's literally like I know it's so it's so little, but it really m fucks my day up. Just fucking someone that can't like turn right.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

The same thing with you know the old lady scream. Do you ever get that? When you do you ever bike around, just go around like uh cycling?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, 100%.

SPEAKER_03

Have you ever gotten the old lady scream? When you're you're overtaking them, you're driving around them, and then do whoo! Oh yeah, oh scare stream. Oh yeah, yeah. It's so funny, yeah. I laugh every time.

SPEAKER_02

What the fuck? It can't I'm going, I'm going two miles. 15 miles an hour, yeah. Just excuse me, bro.

SPEAKER_05

Like your fucking death wing. Just fucking chill, man.

SPEAKER_04

Chill, what the fuck? No, nobody feel it. Yeah. But you know, speaking of yesterday, as I told you about the bike thingy, you know when you have places to be and and and you plan with good margin, you're gonna be there like 15 minutes, 20 minutes early. Oh yeah. And just everything goes to shit. You hop into the first train, and it's like, no, we're gonna stop for 20 minutes. Oh my god, yeah. Like this.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you can't do shit. Nobody moves. Nobody move.

SPEAKER_05

Nobody do nothing. Trap girl is a real trap girl.

SPEAKER_03

Do you get the jump? Yeah, I go. Do you get the jump? Yeah, the pause. Yeah, the pause thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You gotta pause, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, exactly. No, and then obviously, so I sit there, it it's I have a doctor's doctor's appointment. Ten minutes go by, I'm like, okay, sure. Now I'll be ten minutes early. So it's okay.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's fine. It's fine.

SPEAKER_04

It's fine. Now we pause another five minutes. Now, okay, I gotta run to my bus.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I gotta run to my bus, obviously.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I run to it, it's gone. Now I'm like, okay, I'll be three minutes early. Yeah. Better than nothing, right? It comes. The bus comes early, still arrives late at the destination. How? Without stopping or anything. And then I hop out. Like, everything goes wrong. Like, it's like the universe is against it. Oh, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I remember that's only when you have somewhere to be though.

SPEAKER_04

Only when you have somewhere to be. Never when you're going to the symbols. Never when you're just chilling. And the same thing happened to me. You know, when I worked at the place I told you about, I tried I tried working there for a day. I was supposed to be there 20 minutes already because it's my first working day.

SPEAKER_05

No, no, no.

SPEAKER_04

Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. The train stains for you know how tight the margins are in in collective traffic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you miss, if something's late by five minutes, you're gonna miss your bus. And subsequently you gotta take the next bus and blah blah blah. Your whole shit is fucked.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So even if you plan on being early, just one thing goes wrong, yeah, everything falls to shit. That shit happens to me then when I worked, yeah. And now today, uh yesterday, I arrive late, I'm pissed off, like I'm so mad, I don't even care. I'm like mumbling to myself. You know when you get to that point, I'm just yeah, fucking life. I hate life. It has to be today. It has to be today. I go to my doctor's appointment, and with all due respect, it's like uh seven mid-60s, low uh low seventies doctor. Yeah in age, obviously. And I'm like, okay, uh listen, fair play. You got experience.

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04

But your cognitive ability may not be there. But you're a doctor I'm just I'm just a civilian, right? Uh-huh. Walk in and and we check up the thing we're supposed to discuss, and he he he tells me to do something. He he tells me to do something. I'm right, it says in the thing I've already done it. I don't know how I don't know how you gotta do this anything. I go, oh okay, let me analyze this. And generally he goes and searches searches something on Google. No, no, get me down here.

SPEAKER_03

I swear to God, get me the fuck out of here.

SPEAKER_05

He's like, Fuck you, he's like, put some chat GPT.

SPEAKER_01

Oh what the fuck do I do when this dude says me has a tuber up his ass?

SPEAKER_04

So so he chases the thing and he turns to me, he's like So this is the situation. He pauses like that. Oh my god he tells me the situation and I'm like, as you do, I'm like, okay, is there anything I can do to treat it?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

He's like, genuinely, I swear. He's like, nah. You are fucked. I'm like, I'm like, nah. He's like, yeah, nah. Age shit. Fucking thousands of years of medicine, nothing.

SPEAKER_05

Nothing. You finna die.

SPEAKER_04

Obviously, I just want to clarify, it isn't anything even remote. Yeah, it's not sad, yeah. But I'm like, if I can't fix it, I wanna fix it.

SPEAKER_03

I wanna fix it, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

He's like And the thing is, he's a specialized doctor, so he so I went to my This is his field, right? Yeah, so I went to a general doctor first who sent me here. Yeah, she told me there's something you can do. He tells me there isn't something you can do. There isn't anything.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, I'd like a second opinion, please.

SPEAKER_04

Come on. And he's like, after he said yeah no, I'm like, Yeah, thank you for today. Just get me out of here, man. Just fuck off, please. Oh my god. I walk out and the nurse is like, out so early. I was yeah, yeah, he hates me. He wants me to die.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, but when you brought up public transport, that just woke something in me, right? I I have a big problem with uh public transport, especially in Stockholm, right? When I go take public transport to work, I try to be like calculate 20 minutes early just because shit happens, right? But I remember when I was like new to the work, I had never gotten late before, so I was like, okay, I woke up, I overslept a bit, so I was like, okay, if I catch this bus, I'm only gonna be like five minutes late. It's gonna be fine, it's no big deal, right? I've been early every hard time. I go uh down on the train, right? And you know when the train You go down on the train. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_05

You disgusting. I swear nobody else heard that show, right?

SPEAKER_01

How do you go down on a train?

SPEAKER_05

You gotta explain that shit to me.

SPEAKER_03

No, I'm not. Uh yeah, you know when the train does a full stop. Just got some signal problems, yeah. We're gonna be here a wah.

SPEAKER_04

You're a signal dude! You become a 90s Italian, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So yeah, I'm on the I'm on the train and like 40 minutes, you know, and you're sitting there actually accepting your fate. Like, oh yeah, I'm fucked. I did that shit yesterday. Oh my god, I'm fucked. I'm so my boss is gonna be mad at me. You overthink, right? You're just oh I'm gonna lose my job over this. I'm fucked.

SPEAKER_01

He's gonna put my dad to give me a team.

SPEAKER_03

And then you get I I got to like the central of Stockholm. I'm trying to take the metro, right? And yeah, that's fucked up too. Obviously, obviously. It's rush hour, it's fucked up, everyone's late. So oh yeah, I gotta sit on here for like 20 minutes too. Yeah, awesome. So I'm like one and a half hour late, uh one and a half hours late. And then when you try, I actually filmed like on the on the portrayal to prove it, but you know how fuck it doesn't it doesn't like uh justify it even then. Did you have your face in it? Did you have your face in the video like your concern like reaction, yeah. This aim, this ain't me, show him the time, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

If I was your boss, I'd be like, yeah, sure. Yeah, sure, you're good. Yeah, you're good. But I had to like I'm like you're good, you send a video of you doing the video No man, but then you know uh the Stockholm like public transport company SL.

SPEAKER_03

I got a problem with them because they give me the same vibes as you you spoke about the guy that got a parking ticket, right? He got a parking ticket because oh he put it on 0829 instead of 0830, so now he's gotta pay because it's technically not 0830.

SPEAKER_04

No, it's because um they rounded Yeah, exactly, they rounded up to another. Rounded down, so to the nearest. So instead of it being 8.30, they counted it as 8 o'clock. Yeah, so fucking stupid. So he got his ticket.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, so stupid. Yeah. And then that uh made me think about another thing with this SL company. Did you see what happened? The week and I was moving, uh, a whole metro on one of the lines shut down in the middle of the tunnel. A whole train in the middle of the tunnel. Okay, and one of the girls uh was on the train, she documented it, right? She was filming and she was like, Yeah, yeah. And you know, there's people screaming, there's people with claustrophobia, people are panicking, right? It's a fucked up situation. And then you're also like, okay, what's gonna happen with the rest of my day? How long am I gonna be here? This shit sucks, right? Yeah, and then like three hours they sat there, and then a representative a representative had to come and walk them out of the tunnel. Oh my god, walk you out of the tunnel. And she was like, Okay, this is my only day off. My whole day is fucked right now. My whole day is fucked up. That's half my only day off for the whole week. Like, uh can I get some compensation perhaps just to fix this? So she contacts SL, just can I get some compensation? Yeah, you can get uh two dollars back. What you paid for uh the ticket. Oh my god. What you paid for a ticket. Oh my god. Here you go. Oh my god. $2. Cheers. Three hours wasted stuck in a fucking metro with screaming children and people panicking, like shitting in the training.

SPEAKER_04

But to be fair, to be fair, they have no obligation to do anything, first of all. Second of all, it's like okay, sure. Even if they don't pay you, you're gonna use a different train system. You're always gonna use SL, the big SL.

SPEAKER_03

So not get they're not gonna get so so you can't criticize them, right?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so it's like okay, yeah, the train malfunctioned, but we got billions of other trains working.

SPEAKER_03

I'm just saying how fucking pissed I would be. Oh yeah, oh my god.

SPEAKER_04

I'd I'd also contact them.

SPEAKER_03

I'm gonna be honest.

SPEAKER_04

But I also see why they're not paying.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course, because they genuinely don't have to. They don't give a shit. Yeah, and then you can say, is it real their fault? Shit happens, right? Blah blah blah with the train, but still, man, my day's gone. I get it. I get both sides, yeah. My day's gone, man. Holy fuck. Uh so uh I wanted to try some.

SPEAKER_04

So I just want to say I hate your buffering sounds so much.

SPEAKER_03

I genuinely sounds okay.

SPEAKER_04

You know, whenever you're trying to get to the next thing and you're always eh, dude, be like So I was thinking.

SPEAKER_01

Come on, dude, you gotta be cooler.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, yeah, you're alright. Do it now.

SPEAKER_01

You gotta do it.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, yeah. Is it a story?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's actually a story about how fucking Oh yeah. I'm not gonna do it. I'm not gonna do it. Yeah, my day fucking sucked. I told you, uh my By the way, you're 0 for 2 on stories on the on the No, I I had some good ones recently, bro, right? Which one? Uh now I can't think about it. The France one.

SPEAKER_04

But what's what was the story there? I don't get it.

SPEAKER_03

The stor it's a story time. The entire thing. Yeah. Okay, man, sure. Sure, whatever. Sure, whatever you want.

SPEAKER_04

You took like a half an hour of the episode.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, you you kept you kept taking me on. I tried to keep it short, alright? You made it you it was a 50-50 process, alright? You made it longer, alright? Uh okay. I mean, so let me just let me just let me just see. It's another one about uh people irritating me. Yeah, irritating me. It's it's on the red not red tie, I don't fucking know. What? The red line? Rada Trodon. I don't know. Yeah. The red trail. Yeah, the red trail, I guess. Yeah. So you know, yeah, you you all you obviously work, right? But you don't really work with people that much. Like you don't have to meet a lot of people and you don't like define a lot of people. Yeah, like like meet strangers. Oh yeah, that's yeah, yeah, yeah, you get to you get to meet people. But this particular one, uh I have a warehouse at my work where I sometimes have to help out. I sometimes need to be there when other people are doing stuff and they're busy, so I have to uh cut in and help out. So he was like, Oh, there's a delivery. Uh can you just get the delivery and get it down to the warehouse? Yeah, sure. So how it works. Bottom level, that's our warehouse. You take an elevator up, one of those big ones that you can get a lot of things into.

SPEAKER_04

Can you can you get a forklift into it? Yeah, yeah, it's a big, big elevator, yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Industrial one. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So bottom floor is uh our warehouse where we keep all stuff. Go up two levels, and then there's the uh shipping point where you ship. Yeah, no, where you can receive and ship away things. Like, yeah, what's a dock, basically, a dock for uh trucks and whatnot.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, yeah, sure.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, a loading dock.

SPEAKER_04

Exactly. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And so I get the phone call from the guy who's like, yeah, can you just uh take this delivery? I'm like, yeah, sure. So I go down to the warehouse. I gotta like open all the things up and get my equipment.

SPEAKER_04

I just wanna say, you know what I said you just said, yeah, sure.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I heard you as you were starting walking in my mind, I heard.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but that is how it is. Let me just get down there, yeah. Yeah. So I I get all my equipment right, and then I'm going to the elevators, okay? Both of them both of them are occupied. Okay, I'm just gonna have to wait. You know, when you just fucking Okay, come on, come on. No, okay, they're occupied still. Or let me go to the one far away. Let me go over there.

SPEAKER_04

Note how he never even imagines or thinks about or conceives a thing called stairs.

SPEAKER_03

You can't pull you can't pull fucking a pallet of fucking wares downstairs. No, you can't, bro. You can't you can't do that shit, bro. You haven't seen me working.

SPEAKER_05

It's not possible You can't get a pallet lifter down something. If you're worthy, you can do it. It's like a third hammer. Yeah, sure. Only certain people can do that shit.

SPEAKER_03

So okay, I go over to the other elevators farther down. I'm like, okay, yeah, let me just get into this one. And then I'm still on uh customer service. So customers are calling me, and then I'm starting to get you know overwhelmed. Overstimulated, exactly. So I'm like, okay, let me get this call, get the elevator, get the things into the elevator. Alright, I'm on my way. And then another another number calls. I answer, yep. And it's the guy, and he's like, What the fuck are you?

unknown

Where are you?

SPEAKER_03

Was he actually mad? No, no, he was like irritated. Like, okay, yeah, I'm I'm waiting here. Like, I'm uh where are you? Where are you? Yeah, I'm like, Yeah, the elevators are occupied. I'm coming up on the one on the far side. Yeah, he was like, Alright, sir, I can't see you. I'm like, I'm in the elevator, I'm going out now. I'm on my way. Yeah, and then I'm like, Yeah, exactly. Yeah, so I get out and I'm like, yo, yeah, bring it over here. And he was like like staring blankly at me, I'm like, I was like, yo, elevator, where's get over here?

SPEAKER_05

And he's like just for for audio. He's jerking off.

SPEAKER_03

He's jerking off There's nothing, you know when there's To you literally nothing in his eyes, right? Yeah, so I'm like, okay, fucking alright. I go over to him. Yo, what's happening? Uh can you bring it over here? And he was like, yeah, no, I'm waiting on this elevator though. And I'm like, yo, I'm the guy, like this is this one's free, we can get this one. And he was like, yeah, no, I'm gonna get this one. And there's act people actively using it, like putting stuff in there, and he was like, nah, I'm gonna use this one.

SPEAKER_01

But did you tell him like you're supposed to pick up my? Yeah, yeah, I'm here.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I'm here. This is my my shit, you right? This mine. So we talked. Yeah. Come on. Yeah, come on. Now he's like, nah, I'ma put it in there. Yeah, and those two guys, I don't know why they didn't pipe up, they didn't say one thing this whole ordeal. They were just loading their shit in uh into the into the elevator, and he just starts forcing it past them, just starts putting in our shit in that elevator, and I was like, fucking alright, I I guess I'll ride share with these guys, sure. Let me get my equipment that I brought in the other elevator and fucking put it into this one. And there's you know barely enough space because they have a lot of stuff, we have a lot of stuff that needs to get going, and then he's like, Yeah, cheers, and just gives me this thing and just fucks off. And I was like, Okay, fuck, okay, I I guess I guess it's gonna work. And I'm like, Oh, you guys going down to the uh the other floor, the one at the bottom, the bottom. They was like, no, no, we're going to the very top, the very top, we're meeting God today. I'm like, man, come on. And then we start going up, and you know, I'm I'm so done with the situation. I'm like scrolling TikTok. I don't want to talk with these people. I'm like, okay, sure, whatever. Just do your thing, get out, get on uh get up there, just fuck uh fuck off, and then I can get my things down. They start unloading at the top floor, right? And then they go and they leave the doors open. And I was like, you need to close the doors for the elevator to work. Yeah, no, fuck it, I'll do it. Alright, I'll do it myself, sure. Yep, common courtesy, but fuck me, I guess. So I close the doors, and when you close these doors, there's another one that comes down like this. One of those sliding down ones. Yeah. So a big, it's slow, it's fucking super slow, right? Like whistles all the way down, it's rusty, right? And then I'm looking at it because I'm like, they didn't have the doors open because they thought they were gonna come in back in again, right? They didn't do that. They wouldn't like force themselves in with me again. No, no, no, it's fine. Okay, and the uh closer the door gets to the floor, I'm like, okay, I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm good. And then I just hear and the door Yaa Yeah, for real. No, the door that was rusty and slow before opens up super quick. And I see him, there's a small window.

SPEAKER_05

It's homeland like this in the window, like looking at me.

SPEAKER_03

Uh and I'm like pressed against the wall, like what's up? Oh, you guys wanted another ride, right? You wanted to go down again? And he was like, Yeah, yeah, we wanted to go down again. I was like, okay, fuck man, sure. I just can't, man. I just can't. And then they did the same thing where they we get back down to the like the uh loading area, yeah, they open it up, and then I'm I see I like watch for them, they walk away, and I do the Same thing again, I'll just fucking close it because I don't why am I waiting for you? Just let me go, wait a little bit. I don't have a lot of stuff to get out. I'll close it and you can use it. It it's not that hard.

SPEAKER_04

Just don't you think they're thinking about energy efficiency because if you go like two times, it's more energy. Come on, it's more you drain more energy than going.

SPEAKER_03

Why do I have to be the fucking chaperone there for their elevator? Yeah, come in. Yeah, yeah, sure. Man, it's just fucking oh my god. Yeah, that that that was it. That was just a long day. Long day work, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

That's such a that's such a how do I explain it? That's such a balding situation.

SPEAKER_05

Balding situation.

SPEAKER_04

That's such a situation. A dude who's balding would go through.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, man. Do you see my vision? No. I actually don't. I actually don't see it. Working, hating your life.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah, yeah, okay, that part, yeah, yeah, yeah. Just gets fucked. You see the vision. Yeah, no, I see it. Yeah, sure. Yeah. It's just, you know when you start thinking, why me, man? Come on. Why why is that all happening at once? Yeah, sure. One thing at a time. Why is it all happening right now to me? Fuck. Let me go. Let me leave.

SPEAKER_04

Fuck. Dude, dude, working is I don't know, dude. You you you I guess you're used to it. So now when you come home, you're not as tired as you would be in the beginning.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah, no, no.

SPEAKER_04

You don't gotta go to sleep immediately?

SPEAKER_03

No, no, no, no. Uh some days. Some days, but that depends on how well I slept, like last night. So it it does.

SPEAKER_04

But you sleep like shit, right?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Like you go to sleep like at 3 a.m.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And you start at like 8. Yeah. But that's the the the whole thing, uh another thing, uh talking about sleep. When when you're going to sleep, right? I know we talked about this before. The most the hardest choice for require the strongest will be. Okay, no. The hardest choice each day is when it's around bedtime and you gotta prioritize sleep or my free time. Because I've been home, I felt like I haven't done got on any free time, I haven't done shit. I've made food, I've done all my shorts, I've done everything. Now I wanna chill, and I got like 30 minutes left. Come on, man, come on. I wanna have at least like an hour, at least uh two hours.

SPEAKER_04

But that's that's such a real dilemma. Yeah, man. Such a real dilemma. We talked about it. You know, uh it's all for me, it's between reading, watching, yeah, just falling asleep. Yeah, and I'm like you said, I haven't done anything uh when it comes to free time. I've just working, studying, please God.

SPEAKER_03

I just wanna do something, man, please.

SPEAKER_04

And it has to be oh yeah, obviously, the time is one, it's one a.m. Yeah. I'm gonna wake up in seven hours. If I sit and watch it for like one hour, two hours, it's that's my sleep gone.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And it takes time to fall asleep. I don't know if you've ever ever thought about this or seen this. Every time there's like an ad for YouTube or something that comes on, I'm like, 30-second ad. You know you're actively taking sleep away from me right now. Yeah. You're actively fucking me over right now. Yeah, 100%. Yo my god, and I'm like watching the clock, and I'm like, yeah, that's 30 minutes gone that I could have slept. I'm gonna feel like shit tomorrow.

SPEAKER_04

It's so important to choose to educate yourself in something you really care about because that's gonna be your life working all the time. So it's really, really imperative to choose wisely. Yeah. Right, Yang.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah. Sub to the Patreon, please.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, please. Yeah, we don't want to make that choice. We don't, yeah, we sure don't. No, but that choice sucks. I'm I'm I'm gonna be honest. 75 80% of the time I choose to watch or read. Yeah, I don't go to sleep.

SPEAKER_03

Exactly, yeah, you don't because you can't you just can't, man. You just you you you really sometimes you're really tired and then it feels good to just go straight to bed. But oh another fucked up uh dilemma, I guess. When you I don't know if you do this, this happens to me like twice a week, like all the time. Uh when you get home, you like lay down in your sofa or your or your bed, and you're just trying to chill, trying to wind down after c you just came home and you fall asleep, wake up, it's 2 a.m.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, dude.

SPEAKER_03

Oh I haven't made food, I haven't showered, I haven't done my shores, I haven't done laundry. Oh my god, oh my god, and I haven't even gotten good sleep. I'm in my fucking clothes, and I'm uh didn't have to be a little bit more than a little bit. One sortie's off. My airpod is up my ass. Yeah, I only got like yeah, maybe five hours, like it's not a good good enough sleep, and now I I I haven't done shit. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_04

But the trouble I consistently find myself in when it comes to falling asleep is I always as soon as it's time to lay down, yeah, my thoughts go everywhere. I start thinking about all the things I need to do. Oh yeah, you start stressing yourself out tomorrow, the coming week, my life, everything, and it's the most mean uh meaningless things to the most important things. It's like, are you sure you want to educate yourself in this field? Yeah, and are you sure, by the way, that you after work tomorrow wanna go to the cinema? Uh uh, that's not good for your studies. Yeah, no, no, no. And it's you know, it's just a shit show. Yeah, so it delays my sleep. Now I got a headache.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you gotta you're laying there, it's hot also. Yeah, unbelievably hot. Yeah, it's burning, you're fucking stressing out, and then it's also as you said, it's always almost always trivial things. Yeah, like fucking, yeah, should you go to the cinema tomorrow? It doesn't matter, right? I'll choose in the moment what feels right. What the fuck? It really doesn't matter.

SPEAKER_04

Right now, all that matters is that you shut the fuck up so I can go to sleep.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and like when I when I'm in that situation, like it's I got I don't remember where I got it from. It was like some professional sleep educated person's tip.

SPEAKER_01

Professional sleeper. No guys, watch this.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, don't joke about that. That shit's real. They have competitions and stuff. Free sleeping. Yeah, for sleeping competitions, yeah, competitions. I gotta see that. Yeah, South Korea. Yeah, they have to see that. Or they watch Japan, I don't remember, but they have them competitions. Yeah, that's so intriguing.

SPEAKER_04

What are the techniques? I need that shit.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I need that, yeah. But uh, when you're laying there, like uh or when I'm laying there, sweaty, overthinking, right? I just gotta go up, like walk around. What what what? Alright, spit around, spit it up.

SPEAKER_04

I just I was just thinking about the that's a combination of hell sweating and overthinking.

SPEAKER_05

You just everywhere is overstimulated.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, man, yeah, yeah. But then you just gotta stand up because uh you're not in the mode for sleeping, your brain can't sleep at that time. So you really just gotta get up, like walk around the apartment, like see if you gotta do dishes or like small tasks, maybe like clean up the tables a little bit, like don't start checking YouTube videos or watching your phone or something. Just start walking around, like stand and watch out the window for like a minute or something. That's kind of nice. Yeah, and then like maybe take a like quick shower or something and then go back to bed. Works. Then you then you fall right asleep when you like feel like you're ready to go back to bed.

SPEAKER_04

I feel the best uh one of the best uh counters to the overthinking is just let it drive on. Because if you actively try to stop it, that's more energy expend uh like spend it for no reason.

SPEAKER_03

So But haven't you ever it it doesn't work all the time for some reason? Sometimes I just yeah fuck it. Yeah, fuck it. I'm fucked. I'm fucked, yeah, sure. I'm fucked. Tomorrow I'm gonna be fucked. Yeah, yeah, sometimes you accept. Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_04

So at that point I just crack on. Yeah, exactly. Turn the TV on, watch them sit.

SPEAKER_03

No, no, but I mean when you're falling asleep, you're having this thought, and then you just accept that, yeah, I'm fucked. My life is fucked up. Yeah, sure. Oh, oh yeah, for sure. And then sometimes it actually calms you down and you fall asleep, but sometimes it's yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Everything's gone to shit. Yeah, and everything's going to shit. And even if I succeed, I'm gonna be miserable. Yeah, so who cares? Who cares? I'm gonna kill myself. Either way, speaking of TV, let's give let's talk about I got a recommendation, show recommendation. It's it's such a stupid recommendation because it's such a popular show, it's barely a recommendation. You've heard of it all the time. The Sopranos.

SPEAKER_03

The Sopranos, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I started watching The Sopranos for the first time. No people have uh RH have a hard time getting into that shit because of the um the quality.

SPEAKER_03

No, but I like that though. I like that it looks like you timey, like it looks it looks like it's from the time that it's taken too. Dude, I really like the show.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I really like the the you know you know Italian mafia in the 90s. You know, you just want to be a part of their crew. Yo yeah. You just want that by the way, the thing about the thing about the Pharaoh's ass and shit I told you about, that's the Sopranos. No, that's the Sopranos?

SPEAKER_05

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

For context, uh uh it was a funny line. I feel I found it was a funny line from The Sopranos. Yeah, tell him the quote.

SPEAKER_05

Tony was like, There's something along the lines of the Bible, you read that shit, and the other dude was like, the only shit that came out of the Bible was from the pharaoh's ass when he saw Moses part the red thing. That's a bard. Yeah, that's true. That's true. Imagine seeing being the pharaoh and seeing that shit. What the fuck are we talking about? Holy you got god when you die. Literally, who the fuck am I? You must leave! Who the fuck is the pharaoh? You split the red, dude. You got it. You got it, you got it, dude. Let's ride back, guys. What the fuck? He shits himself, yeah. Yeah, you guys are god's people, dude. Just just leave. Just leave. I don't even believe in raw anymore and that new bit. Just just leave. Just leave, please.

SPEAKER_04

God damn. No, but the Soprano is such a good show. It's like, you know, they're mobsters, obviously, but they also show you how the mobsters deal with everyday life. Like how their families are stressed and what their kids think of their living situation, right? And the consequences that they impose on the people they know. Say I'm a mobster and I talk to you, they might use you against me. Oh, yeah. Right? Like some super village.

SPEAKER_03

Have you played the mafia games? Long ago. They are so good. That that's exactly the type of stuff. Also, like, yeah, it's obviously the mafia, but they're so good. Mafia 1 and Mafia 2 are so fucking good. What do you think about Mafia 3? Yeah, no, it's not good. I've what I've heard, I didn't play it. I what I've heard, it's not good.

SPEAKER_04

But now, dude, The Sopranos, super good show so far. I watched the whole season in like four days.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, Gabagul. Has he done it yet? Has he said it yet? They've all said it. Okay, it's pretty good. I love it. Yeah, Gabagul.

SPEAKER_04

I actually get some satisfaction when they say Gabagul. I don't know why. Yeah, it's really don't know why.

SPEAKER_02

Italian guys, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. But no, it's such a you know, the acting, I just want to say the the thing about the Sopranos is their acting is like second to none. Really? It f they're it's like breaking bad level of acting. Okay. Perhaps even better. You don't feel you're watching a show, you feel you're just a fly on the wall as they're dealing with the business. It's such it's so clean from from Tony Soprano himself to his wife to his kids to all the other mobsters. Such a good show.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

It doesn't feel like they're acting.

SPEAKER_03

I I promise you. How many how many seasons is it? Six. That's good very much. Six seasons. Okay. You should watch it. Fuck, yeah. It's super crazy.

SPEAKER_04

But no, I was saying you want to be a part of a crew, right?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. But you know, I don't know if they have that type of mafia in uh the Sopranos, but at least in the Mafia games, you know the feel of a mafia. Yeah. When you see the maidman, the mafia gangsters. They're walking in a fucking Italian suit, a trench coat on, fucking fedora hat on. Super cool. They have that shirt on, man. Holy shit. It's super cool. It's so cool.

SPEAKER_04

Until you owe them two dollars.

SPEAKER_01

And they harvest your organs.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they do a blade and uh being a part of the crew is obviously scary because you're paranoid all the time. But I'm just thinking about the good moments, you know, when they're sitting there counting money, making jokes, you know how American Italians are or how they're portrayed in cinema.

SPEAKER_03

I actually thought about it now. I re not recently, like a year ago, learned how the mafia business actually worked, like what they got money.

SPEAKER_05

Your uncle, right? Okay, now he's a made man Italian, right? I just saw something. What? Just pause. Pause for a moment. What did he just say? He's a maid man flew right over my head. Must have been the win. A maid man, a maid man who gets done with the she made. What the fuck are you talking about?

SPEAKER_03

No, but the way they a lot of them made money was really funny, actually. They go to a local business, right? It's just extortion. Yeah. So you're gonna pay us a monthly fee. Yo, yo, whoa, monthly fee for for what?

SPEAKER_04

It's just Tulsa King.

SPEAKER_03

Uh what's what did you call it? Tulsa King. I don't ru I don't know if it has a name or if it's oh no, no, it's not a show. This is how like actual mafias made money.

SPEAKER_01

Oh you you you were you were there. Oh man, come on, observe that they were.

SPEAKER_03

I watched something, I saw it, man. Come on. So they're like, yeah, we're we're gonna charge you monthly. It was actually a mob apprentice.

SPEAKER_01

And the thing about the mob is there can only ever be two a master and apprentice. Okay, yeah, man.

SPEAKER_03

And this is the first time I'm not a mobster, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And it's the first time they've appeared in a thousand years.

SPEAKER_03

I'm making by the way, this is to the sips.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, we got it, we got it, man. You're the apprentice. What's your tactic, tell me?

SPEAKER_03

No, no, my tactic. This is how they made money. They just go to a business, a local business, like a bakery, and like, okay, you're gonna pay us a monthly fee, right? For protection. Oh yeah, absolutely. Protection against what? Us. Us, yeah, pay us or we'll fuck you up. And then you get territories that way, right? So, oh yeah, you're getting you get this part of the city, and if anyone from the other mafia fucks with you, we're gonna have like a war big mafia war, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So Versus Stallone does this in Tulsa King. Have you watched Tulsa King?

SPEAKER_03

Uh I've seen clips of it. He does it. He goes to a weed store, he's like, Oh, yeah, yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so you're gonna pay me.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you're gonna pay me. Yeah, you're just gonna pay me. Yeah, for protection. Yeah, exactly. Like that, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, because you were there, obviously.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, man.

SPEAKER_04

No, no, but it's actually intriguing because obviously you refer to it or people refer to it as organized crime.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So it's not just like bullshit central, it's like sophisticated. So I'm curious as to how their systems work and how they you know, because they obviously they're obviously like a real business. They count profit margins, yeah, uh how much they put into it uh compared to how much they're expected to win. Yeah, business models over years, so they're kind of locked in, just illegally.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, cool. Until obviously you owe them cash money.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god, yeah. Another thing that we've recently uh we've we've been dabbling in it here or there, but I wanted to try and trip you up with some philosophical questions.

SPEAKER_05

But trip you like No, no, no, okay, yeah, you get down.

SPEAKER_03

So I'm gonna I have some dilemmas, right? Uh and I'm gonna make you're gonna answer what you think, the your what your opinion about these topics are. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, what yeah, it's gonna be different topics, right? And yeah, you just say say your opinion. I'll see if if I agree or not, but then yeah. Let me see. Okay, so the first one, I don't know if you heard of it. They're not gonna be.

SPEAKER_04

Why are you squinting? Huh? Why are you squinting, mobile?

SPEAKER_03

Not squinting?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you did this when you opened your phone, you're not 50, you're not 60.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know, I don't know. I don't know if I did that. Maybe I just blinked. Weird. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, go ahead, go ahead. Okay, so first one, I'm so hungry too. Yeah, I know, me too, me too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The god damn it. Yeah, somebody calls me right now. Fuck off. Yep. Uh the clone dilemma. Have you heard about this one? Go ahead. You have a teleporter, right? You have a teleporter that when you go through it, the teleporter breaks you down into like small particles, and then it can instantly transmit you to another location.

SPEAKER_04

So teleportation.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, the teleportation, but it breaks you down, that's the important part. It breaks you down, it brings you to another place. When you appear on the other side, is that still you? Is that still you?

SPEAKER_04

It breaks me down. So I guess it has to remember my my genetic code to build me up again.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, exactly. Yeah. It knows everything about you, yeah. It knows you perfectly.

SPEAKER_04

It breaks me, it actively breaks me down. It breaks me down.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, into fine particles, molecules, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So at the at the po at the point of breakdown, I rem okay. And the question is, am I the same person when I re-arranged?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Is it still you?

SPEAKER_04

You know what determines if I'm the same person, define the same person.

SPEAKER_03

Exactly. But yeah, definitely.

SPEAKER_04

Same person biologically. But if I'm the exact same person as I was before biologically, it's the same genetic code. You can argue I am the exact same person. But am I the exact same genetic copy of myself? No, I'm not. I'm not. I just am not.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but I'm gonna help you out here a little with the like the dilemma part that people are arguing about. Technically, when it breaks you down to your bare particles, it kills you. It kills your you. Like what makes you you, your consciousness. You die, but then you reappear, it rebuilds you again, so you still have the memories, you still have But it's not the same you who has the memories, it's your copy who has the memories. Does you do you die when you go through a teleport? Like, does your existence end right there?

SPEAKER_04

I got that point, but listen, as I said, as my conc uh as my consensus was, yeah, it's a genetic copy of you, meaning it's not you, right? So at the point of breakdown, you remember everything you remember, but at the point at the point of being built up again, it feels like a seamless transition for the new copy.

SPEAKER_03

Exactly.

SPEAKER_04

But me, the one who got broken down, it's fair, yeah. You don't expect it.

SPEAKER_03

Are you dead? Are you dead? I am dead. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I, my version, Milan V1 is dead, but Milan V2 with my memories lives on.

SPEAKER_03

Because this is where this is a lot of people agree with you where they're you you die, like you disappear as well.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you have to be specific. Your specific version, but you still survive.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you still survive, but your consciousness, right? You in the world.

SPEAKER_04

They did this, they did this in Invincible. You know, you know. Did they? Freaking a what's his name? Robot. Yeah. So when before he he became, you know, the little little the the guy, yeah, the 12-year-old. He was like a disformed, disfigured guy, remember? Yeah. So they wanted to transmit him into Oh yeah, yeah. So they are the same person, but he dies. Yeah. And the other survives, but they're still the same. He has all the same memories.

SPEAKER_03

Memories, everything.

SPEAKER_04

But the dude dies. So but it's not him.

SPEAKER_03

This is yeah, exactly. Because when I think about it, right, I'm I'm going down the rabbit hole of okay, it no, it's the exact same molecule. It's building, it's just tearing me apart and then rebuilding my brain exactly how it was before. Isn't it still me? Like wouldn't wouldn't it be like a hiccup? Like, I'm just blacking out and then I'm there again. Like it's still me. It's not a new newer version, if you know what I mean. Wouldn't it still be me though?

SPEAKER_04

Give me a second.

SPEAKER_03

Because I'm thinking I'm thinking against the majority here, I'm thinking it's it would be me. It would be like blacking out. Because you I don't think your brain either would have enough time to just uh yeah, it wouldn't have time to uh figure out what happened.

SPEAKER_04

It depends. Do they when you get broken down the pieces of you where do they go? If they just disappear. No, they don't disappear, they travel to the other teleporter. It's sparkles, yeah. So I was thinking it remembers your genetic code and we can't.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, no, no, then it's not you. So it saves saves you, saves your. Then you survive, my boy. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. You survive. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Your version. You agreed with me. Fuck. Your version. I thought you were gonna disagree.

SPEAKER_04

No, the ver your version, you you, yeah, and the key one.

SPEAKER_03

This is what they this is the uh scene, right? That the particles, because they can move fast for whatever reason, they can travel instantly.

SPEAKER_04

But it's you though, because it's your exact build-up. So it would be like blacking out for like a nanosecond and then you're back. Because I was thinking you it you get destroyed, but it remembers your build-up and creates you in another spot.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, then then you're uh that's a clone. That's a clone.

SPEAKER_04

But if it breaks you down, keeps your essence, yeah, and builds you up based off or through that essence, it's still you. How is that a different version?

SPEAKER_03

Because they their argument is when it strips you down to your bare molecules, you die immediately. You can't survive that. You get resurrected two seconds later. But exactly, do you are you getting resurrected? You are getting resurrected.

SPEAKER_04

What's the definition of resurrection? It's that this body comes back to life. That's my body, is it not?

SPEAKER_03

This is making sense.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, not my body, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I have to go back. I saw a video of a guy uh like uh discussing this. I have to see what his take was on this because I think there's only one logic. I I thought he at first I agreed with him, but then I was like, well no well nah. Because it's still me, it's still my brain, my particles from the uh original. Yeah, yeah. So it's would be just blacking out quickly.

SPEAKER_04

That's a good one, but I would say it's still me. Yeah, it's still me. On to number two. Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Uh d this is just a little more like uh it's not a dilemma, right? It's just w if you get this, do you just get bursts of fearing death now and again?

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, 100%.

SPEAKER_03

Do you know what I mean by that?

SPEAKER_04

You know there's many types of bursts. Is it the you get burst of happiness, yeah, you get bursts of fear. But you you know sometimes I just wanna you know go off goes sometimes you just stand there like you're picking things from the fridge. I love my life, yeah, I got everything, yeah, and I'm going to I'm becoming what I want to become. But at the other end, sometimes in dark moments, out of nowhere, I just remember life is finite. And you know, I go deeper, I think how if there's a God, if there's a creator, yeah, how evil it is to make his creations aware of their mortality. We are the only creatures on earth aware of their that know they're gonna die. Do you know how evil that is?

SPEAKER_03

But yeah, exactly. That's we understand that's what I mean with these birds, uh bursts of because we can sit right now and talk, yeah, I'm gonna die someday. But it's doesn't mean anything to me right now. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, you know when you have the moments when you realize it. I'm going to die. Yeah, I'm actually going to die. And I had this, it was when I was writing this down that I had one of those where I'm just sitting there, like, okay, so think of a bunny in a fucking forest that's no one's ever gonna observe. It's entire life. It's entire like it's only a bunny for a fraction of a second in history, then it's nothing. Yeah. Assuming that uh you turn to nothing when you die. That's the sunshine I'm gonna do. That's the hypothetical scenario, right now.

SPEAKER_04

Let's just go based off of what we know. Yeah. That you disappear when you die.

SPEAKER_03

Let's say as far as we know. The hypothetical hypothetical scenario right now, you're just gone. You're nothing.

SPEAKER_04

Nothing happens after this.

SPEAKER_03

So when a bunny, nobody's gonna observe it, it just lives and dies.

SPEAKER_04

But what remember the quote I told you?

SPEAKER_03

Which one?

SPEAKER_04

The Polotraides one, which he says in Dune Messiah. Okay. Well, I can't remember it word for word, but it's like, oh the the flesh surrenders itself, the eternity takes back takes back its own. What can we uh We dance with a certain intoxication in front of ourself and love. Oh yeah. What can we say of this? I occurred, I am not, yeah. Yet I occurred.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

That's the best encapsulation of life in my opinion. Yeah. I occurred, I am not. Yet I occurred. And he says, Yeah, what do we do? We we think of ourselves, we we get we fall in love, we deal with some strange ideas in life. Oh, what is life, and yada yada, and we die.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, man. The thing, yeah, we when I think about this, you know, I think always think about okay, how was it before my birth? Because that's how it was, right? History's been going on. I've I've just been on this earth for 20 years, right? History's been going, so you obviously can think about it.

SPEAKER_04

What you know, my version of that is that one day, one day the sun is gonna rise, and I'm not gonna be there to witness this.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, exactly, exactly. I'm gonna be gone.

SPEAKER_04

And life will continue as is.

SPEAKER_03

Exactly.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, barely nothing on the nothing will change.

SPEAKER_03

Nothing.

SPEAKER_04

Humanity will go on living, whatever happens in the cosmos happens, yeah, and I am no more.

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04

But genuinely, I hope I listen, you know people say things sometimes and you just view it surface level. But I want you to try to think of this deeply. You know what a privilege it is to get to be alive.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, I think about it all the time, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

But do you know what a privilege it is to be alive? You you get to live. Yeah, you know, you but listen, let's assume, let's just go based off the uh hypothetical that God doesn't exist. Yeah, that everything happened by chance. Somehow the universe managed to create something aware of the universe itself. And you are that thing.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you are it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, billions of years of of of evolution and yada yada led up to you, a physical manifestation a conscious manifestation of the universe. How did that happen? Yeah, how could you occur? What are the odds? And out of every sperm, too, you got you want to live.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but who was it? I thought I think it was Neil deGrasse Tyson that actually did the math. Yeah, actually did the math of you being alive right now. It's it's non-existent. It's like it doesn't compare.

SPEAKER_04

You get to live, you get to breathe oxygen. You you get to compare that chance to anything. You get to feel love, you get to feel fear. What a privilege it is to be afraid of death. Sure, we get best case scenario, like 90 years.

SPEAKER_03

We got to live. Yeah, we got to live on the earth. I just thought about it also. If you could somehow communicate to someone that had died or something, yeah, or has been dead for a while, what would you give? Like, obviously, they had they're dead, so they don't have money, but like, how much would one second, just one breath of being alive, be worth to them?

SPEAKER_04

Everything.

SPEAKER_03

Just when you sit when you sit doom scrolling, wasting away seconds, this is something I think of all the time. How much would that 20-minute doom scroll sesh be worth to someone someone who's died, someone that came back for 20 minutes? And what would they do?

SPEAKER_04

My auntie uh uh uh gave me uh the premise of a book. It's a man who dies, it's fantasy. Yeah, and he begs God, he's like, I'm begging you, just give me like five days. So sure, take five days. Let's see what you do with those five days. Oh, yeah. So he gets five days on earth, and we get to witness what he does with his last five days. So I'm curious, I'm maybe. But uh the counter-argument to your doom scrolling thing is sure, they would kill for that amount of time. Yeah, but we living the time, we're used to living. Exactly. We're used to things. So, how are we supposed to appreciate it?

SPEAKER_03

We can't start made. We've always known living.

SPEAKER_04

We've never not known living egg. Yeah, yeah, so that's the only thing we know. So, and plus you can't always be going hard, fucking being drumming, running with a dog, killing mobs. What the fuck? Yeah, sometimes sometimes the beauty in life is just doom. Simplicity, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Simply just being alive.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you don't gotta always be an action star.

SPEAKER_03

No, exactly. Yeah, yeah. The best thing says fucking you know when you you just see a view or see the weather and you just you're just at peace. You see those flowers.

SPEAKER_04

Sometimes when the sun is shining, yeah, I I watch those flowers with the sun reflecting on them. I just sit here, yeah, happy.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that that's one of those times where just you're just at peace. Yeah. Yeah. For a couple of minutes.

SPEAKER_04

And you try not to think about tomorrow and whatever you gotta do. You're just here, living. I'm alive.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

But you know when I remember I'm alive, I feel like there's so much more I gotta do, right?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, you don't wanna. That's the death thing again. Yeah, I'm gonna be gone. And I gotta make use of my time. It really doesn't matter what I do, it doesn't matter in the long run. But on an individual level, individual level, exactly it's all I have, it's all I have, it's all I got. You gotta yeah, you gotta live, you gotta do stuff. Obviously, it's only for you.

SPEAKER_04

Obviously, you can't do anything and everything all the time. Yeah. But just try every day to do the things you need to or want to do.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, to achieve goals, to get to places you wanna be, right? Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

You done with philosophy?

SPEAKER_03

No, I got one one more quickie. Just the barrier for consciousness.

SPEAKER_04

What do we count as conscious?

SPEAKER_03

Where in human evolution did we get the fucking ability to be conscious? I think. I think I have an answer. I thought about it when I wrote this down. I think I have an answer. Yeah. Let me speak. Okay. Yeah. I have it written down, so yeah, you speak first, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Uh consciousness, first of all.

SPEAKER_03

Where in the line of human evolutions did human become conscious?

SPEAKER_04

I just want to say I'm gonna go learn mode. It's impossible to pinpoint, obviously. But the best thing I can give you is when language became a thing.

SPEAKER_03

When language became a thing.

SPEAKER_04

If you want the rationaliz rationalization, imagine being not having language to think of things as in. You don't have concrete things to reference in your mind. Yeah. Are you the are you conscious?

SPEAKER_03

Are you asking me? I'm asking you. I'm conscious.

SPEAKER_04

You're you're not conscious. What do we wait? Let's define consciousness, first of all. What's consciousness?

SPEAKER_03

The ability to have what how do you describe consciousness? Let's do it. I'm gonna need I'm gonna need some help on this. Let's do this. How do you do define consciousness? Because you know, you know how I operate.

SPEAKER_04

I need definition. Yeah, if I get the definition, I can give you a property.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah, we talked about free will. We don't really have free will, but the free will we have, we have the a logical brain that gets us to make choices. Yeah, how the fuck do you define it?

SPEAKER_04

It's the state of being aware of yourself, your thoughts, your feelings, and the world around you. So consciousness is the state of being aware, aware is the key word of your feelings, your thoughts, your f uh and the world around you. Yeah. So you're conscious of it. So if we go from an evolutionary standpoint, obviously we came from AIDS. Right? Huddling around There is no The best I can give you is language before. Do you agree with the language still or do you have a different th you know if I if I would agree with my previous statement, it would mean that consciousness did not exist before language was created, meaning they will not be aware of their surroundings, feelings. You are obviously aware. I cannot pinpoint, I cannot give you a logical answer.

SPEAKER_03

But the I when I think when I'm thinking about language, it's like, yeah, okay, we learn to communicate better, to survive better, but like wolves and everything, they communicate, right? They still like tr strategize, they know how to communicate.

SPEAKER_04

No, I don't mean language as in communication, I mean language as in reflection. Because you you speak to yourself in your mind. Yeah, okay, yeah. So you can create concepts. You can you can create concepts in your mind. You're like chair, that's a chair, right?

SPEAKER_03

I think I think I have a good answer. Sixty-seven thousand years ago is the first time, the first recorded self-portrait on a wall.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, dude, that's not a good answer.

SPEAKER_03

Really? I think that's a really good answer.

SPEAKER_04

That's the that's really not a good answer. I think it's a good idea. Just because I I can I I can I can break it down in like 50 billion different ways.

SPEAKER_03

First of all, can I just say uh just spit a while? Oh yeah, sorry. So because this is why I think so, because this is the first time that documented, obviously it's gonna be before that, because yeah, they had to learn blah blah blah. But it's the first time they recognize themselves, their family, right? The first self-portrait, it's just them putting their hands together, a family putting their hands on a wall with paint. Uh yeah, whatever paint they used. So that's a recognition of yeah, oh, they're not hunting, they're not uh surviving, they're just doing something for them creatively for themselves, recognizing something like, oh yeah, this is us, this is a re representation of us in this cave painting.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, I'll I'll I'll give you two two two pathways. Yeah. Number one, if we were to pinpoint consciousness, no, first of all, consciousness, I'm gonna I'm just gonna say impossible to pinpoint. Yeah, you you can't pinpoint. So if you're a logical human, you are supposed I'm gonna be honest, you're supposed to say no. Yeah. Because there's nothing you can say. You can't be like 67,000 years ago because what happened 68,000 years ago. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then you can't be like when language wasn't invented, because what happened before language was invented. We were obviously conscious. So you can't. So I think to a certain degree, this is not your fault because people probably talk about it.

SPEAKER_03

This is my best guess, obviously. I know there's a lot of more going on.

SPEAKER_04

I just want to say it's a bullshit question because you can't answer the question. But then if we go into what you say, okay, sure. The first recording of uh self-portrait, I would say it's a valid argument when when when explained, yeah, because it's the first activity outside of surviving that we've seen, but it's also not an answer. Yeah, you get what I'm saying? I'm saying it's a valid viewpoint, yeah, but it's not an answer. No, it's not a factual answer, yeah. Yeah, there is no factual answer. Exactly. But I think it's fair. When we started seeing humans becoming creative, yeah, sure. They started thinking outside of surviving and just eating and for.

SPEAKER_03

Have you seen any cave paintings?

SPEAKER_04

In real life?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

No.

SPEAKER_03

I've seen one in Spain when I was there. They it was just a man and a mammoth in a huge fucking cave.

SPEAKER_04

Do you think they're like they're like, okay, I'm painting, right?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, like I'm like just a huge dick.

SPEAKER_04

That's how they were probably though, yeah. And you know, people were talking about okay, how was language invented? I think I feel that's kinda self- that's kind of easy.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Oh so then you're like, I'm like, okay, I'm like, oh yeah. Oh, ah, the table hurt me. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

The table hurt me. If dogs can understand a name given to them, yeah, caveman can understand, oh, stick means uh. Exactly.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, exactly. But actually, it's uh I don't want a dog on you, it's an interesting question, but it's impossible to give any logical answers.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's philosophy, though. It's my it does it doesn't make sense to answer the question in that way.

SPEAKER_04

No, even in philosophical terms, I don't feel like you can answer the question.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, no.

SPEAKER_04

No, uh, you mean like factually like check back like Because philosophy, even though it's thinking, they usually base it off of like empirical, empirical things, like proven things, right? This is not anything we can trace, right?

SPEAKER_03

No.

SPEAKER_04

It's the same argument when it comes to evolution. When did an ape become a human? Yeah, when did a fish when did a fish become a land?

SPEAKER_03

It's gradually, right?

SPEAKER_04

It's a progression, it's a gradual progression. Either way, let's finish this off with a blind ranking. Alright. Because obviously TikTok fucked with uh blind rankings, so it's gonna be this is a super weird blind ranking. Yandale, you're supposed to blind rank things.

SPEAKER_05

Things, all right.

SPEAKER_04

I'm just gonna throw real broad.

SPEAKER_05

I'm just gonna You can't go broad. Listen, you genuinely can't go, brother. No, okay. It's just things, you use your own logic, rate them.

SPEAKER_03

You gotta know this guy, right? He was like, yeah, this was cool shit. Yeah, things, yeah. Fuck it, yeah. Things, dude.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I was thinking what should we play right?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Fuck him, yeah. Five uh uh top five, top five, obviously. Top five, okay. Hot wheels.

SPEAKER_03

You gotta explain your rationale behind your ratings. So I'm ranking things. Hot wheels are pretty awesome. They're pretty awesome.

SPEAKER_04

Because you know, they cover all cars. Yeah, branded, also super cool, weird cars.

SPEAKER_03

Do you ever build the ramps? Obviously, build the ramps.

SPEAKER_04

It's a like generational thing. It's like your dad fuck with it, you fuck with it, your kids are gonna fuck with it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's just awesome. It's just awesome. Number four.

SPEAKER_05

Number four. Why? It's things, you know how broad things are. You know how broad things is.

SPEAKER_03

Imagine fuck with hot mobils that much.

SPEAKER_01

Imagine you're like, okay, you you do your rankings, I'm like, okay, yeah, how is you like oh number one? Okay, you're dad. Exactly. That's exactly how this will go. It's fair, it's fair. Okay, okay. This is so stupid. I'm gonna be honest. So okay, how long is number four?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Post haircut feeling.

SPEAKER_05

You know that fresh, awesome feeling.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god, it's good, man. It's good.

SPEAKER_04

But but you know, you gotta take the average because sometimes it sucks, sometimes it's not most of the time it's when you find your barber, right, in a serious thing.

SPEAKER_03

Exactly. Okay, then use that. It's good, man.

SPEAKER_04

It's fucking And you know what you're walking around like fucking or respecterful.

SPEAKER_03

It's uh you know, obviously they style it way fucking better than you ever can. Also, yeah, so you you're walking around that crisp 30 minutes when your hair is actually peaked.

SPEAKER_04

No, no, no. The peak is when you take a shower the day after and you walk out. That's the peak. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. So let's use that, that post haircut feeling.

And you can do all you can do statistics, you can do anything and everything. Yeah. For this cheap price of 50 bucks. You can do it on a computer program too. You can like not to the same extent.

SPEAKER_03

It's the calculator is more efficient than the computer program.

SPEAKER_04

Not a computer program, but the calculator on the computer. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

G OG Abro. Like the Windows.

SPEAKER_04

SPEAKER_03

Fuck you. Sure. Yeah, it's good. It's good as well.

SPEAKER_04

Spreading across the universe like an unquenchable fire. But is it better than Warrior religious worshiping at the shrine on my father's skull?

SPEAKER_03

Is it better than fucking 200 million dollars went into that shit? Oh yeah. Fucking post-ERCA feeling. It's not, it's not better. So three. Yeah, it's number three. I'm liking this list so far. I'm liking it. So you only got number one. I got number four.

SPEAKER_04

SPEAKER_05

SPEAKER_04

But still you happy?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I'm fucking happy.

SPEAKER_04

Would you still put Spinosaurus number one? Above the post-haircut feeling?

SPEAKER_03

Nah, post haircut feeling number one, then Spinosaurus. Then Doom Part 1. Yeah. Hot Wheels and my Casio. Fuck you, by the way. Yeah, but it's like yeah. My optimal list.

SPEAKER_04

SPEAKER_03
