Hey friends, hey family, you know what? You didn't survive all of that you've gone through in life by accident. You didn't make it through the breaking, the crushing, the pressing to just stay hidden. You are carrying something heaven intends to use. Your scars are your credentials. But instead, you keep playing small, you keep holding back, you keep overthinking, and you keep filtering your obedience through the opinions of people who were never assigned to your calling. And here's what you need to understand your silence, it is not protecting you, it is delaying someone else's breakthrough. Let that sink in. So I want you to declare right now, in the name of Jesus, I break the lie that my voice doesn't matter. I am not too broken. I am not too late. I'm Elizabeth Everett, and this is Grace in the Breaking. We're gonna talk today about how heaven responds to your testimony. I mean, come on now. God uses every single piece of your story for his glory. But the choice is will you let him? Will you break free from the mold that's been keeping you so small and so tightened up? Because God qualifies, not people, he literally calls you, he qualifies you. So what are you waiting on? Second Corinthians three, five through six. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God. First Corinthians one, twenty seven, but God has chosen the foolish things. We keep trying to qualify ourselves through effort, through striving in our own strength. Here's our thought process. We think, well, if I heal just a little more, if I get just a little more confident, or you know what, I just need to fix that one more thing. Then I'll be ready to step up and step out. But that's the lie. Here's the truth. God never asks you to arrive, He asks you to surrender. The breaking you walked through, that was not random. Yours wasn't, and neither was mine. In my case, it was God stripping every bit of self-reliance I had left, dismantling every single piece of control I was holding on to, and removing the version of me that depended on performance and what he did for me, he is doing for you. Because calling it requires dependence on him. And here's where this gets so much deeper. Some of you are calling the delay discernment. You've got that backwards. But it's not discernment, it's fear dressed up in spiritual language that's making your ears feel good. It's making your belly feel good, and it's letting you justify your actions. Man, playing small often sounds like wisdom, but it's rooted in complete avoidance of obedience. You keep waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect conditions, the perfect time. But let's face it, there is no perfect time. What do you think faith is? You're not waiting for more clarity, you're not waiting for another word. It's time for you to get up and move. Because readiness in the kingdom, it is not a feeling, it is a decision to trust God, anyways. So, what's your surrender moment? Are you ready to lay down the need to feel prepared, the need to feel more confident? Because it's time to say yes while it still feels uncomfortable. Here's gonna be another declaration that I want you to speak over your life. I break every bit of hesitation and delay off of my life in the mighty name of Jesus. I will not stay in preparation mode, I will move in obedience. I declare and decree in the mighty name of Jesus. It's time to activate, friends. Are you ready? Are you willing to show up and show out? Are you willing to give the glory to the our God, the Father, who graced you through your breaking, who never left your side? It's time to glorify Him. Every single second that you wait is someone not getting what they need for their breakthrough because everyone's story is tied to someone else. So when you remain quiet, you remain still. You're not just delaying your promise, you're delaying someone else's. Let that sit and resonate on you. The enemy fears your testimony. Revelation 12, 11, they overcame him by the word of their testimony. 2 Corinthians 10, 5, bringing every thought into captivity. When you know something is not of the Lord, we are to capture it, cast it out, send it back to the pits of hell where it belongs in the name of Jesus. Your testimony, it's not just a story, it is a weapon against hell. It carries authority, it carries freedom, and it carries breakthrough, not just for you, but for others. And because of that, the enemy targets your mind, not your calling, not your future, your mind. Because if he can keep you stuck in the same process of delay over and over again, he delays your obedience and therefore you stay in the same repetitive cycles and are no longer a threat. The truth is, when he keeps you in your head, he keeps you stuck. He keeps you replaying your past, he keeps you analyzing everything instead of acting on what God has already called you to do. That inclination, that thought, that's not you, that's God. He keeps you stuck in the what-ifs. Every scenario you let play in your head is a lie of the enemy. It's a repetitive cycle to keep you bound in chains. You should be saying yes, Lord. And here's the trap: you think you're processing all these thoughts, you're thinking you're waiting on another piece of clarity, but actually you are prolonging disobedience. That hits your belly hard on that one because you are not stuck because you lack calling. You're stuck because you're overthinking every bit of your obedience. You already know what God called you to do. You just haven't done it yet. Go on, admit it. We're human. I've been there, I've done that. I delayed a couple of years, and man, did it get heavy. But you know what? God saw it all along and knew how my life was gonna go because of my free real choices, but he still gave me the grace every single day. And now I stand before you, encouraging you to rise up in the power and authority inside of you and take back everything that the enemy stole and go back in with your story and help people that are going through the exact same thing that you survived. You didn't survive in your own strength. The Lord helped you. So now you need to do what God told you to do. You haven't done it yet. So take every thought captive by the authority and the power of the Holy Spirit. Stop partnering with the lies and the fear that the enemy has replayed over and over and whispered every moment of every day in your ear. Cast those down. Satan, get behind me in the name of Jesus. You got no power now. Go on. Whatever you gotta do, take authority over your thoughts. Stop partnering that fear and stop rehearsing your past because God already redeemed you. Do not be like Lot's wife and look back. Move forward. He is doing a new thing. Step into it. I declare and decree that I speak clarity over your mind today. I declare and decree that every bit of confusion over your mind breaks. I declare and decree that your overthinking breaks in the name of Jesus. And I declare and decree that fear it loses its authority over you today. You will not stay stuck in your head. You will move forward in obedience in the mighty name of Jesus. Here's your reality check, friends. The enemy isn't after your past, he is after your voice. It's time to break free from the opinions of others. You don't need validation. Galatians 1:10. If I still pleased man, I would not be a servant of Christ. So why are we people pleasing? Why are we seeking validation? Proverbs 29, 25. The fear of man brings a snare. The fear of man is subtle because it doesn't feel like fear. It feels like we're being wise, feels like we're being careful, it feels like we're being considerate. But in reality, it's a trap of the enemy. So be cognizant. You are editing your voice to fit in spaces that God never called you to shrink in. You're seeking that validation, you're people pleasing, so you're putting yourself in a mold because you're comfortable there. You're holding back truth. You're holding back conviction because you are afraid of rejection. When you live for approval, you will die by rejection. Aren't you tired of that circle? It's time to bring the darkness to the light and invite God in to heal that peace, to break off and be delivered and set free in the name of Jesus. So this is where your surrender gets real. You have to choose your comfort or you have to choose your calling. Which one is it going to be? Because you cannot, I repeat, you cannot have both. Your conviction, playing small, choosing to stay palatable instead of powerful. You need to release the need to be liked. You need to lay that down and let it go today. Because the only person you need to be worried about is pleasing the Father above. So that one day when you meet him in heaven, he looks at you and says, Well done, my faithful servant. You need to release the need to be liked and the renewed release the need to be understood. That's people pleasing. Let it go. It's okay. We aren't created to fit in. God hand knitted us together in the womb. Every one of us is different and created in the likeness of God. He made us special. So quit trying to blend in. Stand up and stand out. You need to break the fear off right now of man. I break the rejection off of your identity in the name of Jesus. You will no longer shrink your voice. You will walk forward in obedience in the mighty name of Jesus. Because you were not called to be approved, you're called to be obedient. And I'm going to tell you something, friends. Your scars, they are now your credentials. Second Corinthians 1, 3 through 4. You keep trying to hide your scars, but God, He's calling you to use them. Your scars, what do they carry? They carry credibility, they carry compassion, and they carry authority. Because you don't do just speak truth. You've lived it. You have the roadmap. You made it through. You have the survival strategy. Now it's your job to share it. And here's the deeper layer of it the places that you broke in built an endurance in you that no one can take away. It developed a discernment that is sharpened and it forced you to be dependent on God. So your pain, it was not wasted. Every single bit of it was preparation for now. People don't connect with perfection, they connect with transformation. Look at me. I'm still called the black sheep in some circles because people would rather feel healthy about the old Elizabeth that was 20 and 25 years ago, or even the one that was six or seven years ago, because every day is a new day to be molded closer to the likeness of God. We're in a constant, we're in a constant relationship, drawing closer to Him. Therefore, He's going to continue to mold us and prune us and take away things that don't bear fruit. So quit wasting another moment worrying about what other people saw. Playing small. Looks like you're minimizing your story because it feels messy. But your story is someone else's permission to be heard. So you've had an abortion, you made it through, you went into a repentance with God. Now go and help others. You had addictions, do the same. You've been married, had a divorce, prodigals, whatever your testimony is, someone else needs it. You got to stop filtering that testimony. So it sounds better to you because you're afraid of truly submitting it all and letting it all out there. I'm going to tell you something. One of the most freeing things that you can do is get all of the darkness out into the light. You know why? Because then the enemy doesn't have anything to play on your mind about. You've surrendered it all, you've asked for repentance. The God loves you. He redeemed you, he restored you. So quit worrying about what you did in the past. God already forgave you. You are a new creation. Give God every single bit of it. If there's a piece of fear in it, give it to Him. Because right now, I need you to break shame off of your story. I declare and decree your voice will not be hidden. I declare and decree your scars, they will speak life to others. You are not, I repeat, you are not disqualified because of your scars. You are actually anointed and carry the oil because of them. Open your eyes to see. Open your spiritual ears to hear him. Because you were made for more. Jeremiah 29, 11. You didn't survive just to maintain. You didn't go through the breaking just to stay comfortable. You were marked. But purpose, you know what that requires? It requires your surrender. And your surrender, the surrender, that's where most people stop. They stop because it means letting go of control. It means releasing every bit of comfort and stepping into uncertainty. And here's the deeper tension. You say you want more, but you're not willing to let go of what's familiar. So you're playing it small. That's you clinging to what is safe, what is comfortable, instead of you stepping into your assignment. And I'm going to tell you something: the longer you delay it, the more conviction and the more pressure you're going to feel until you finally walk in obedience and give your yes. You got to lay down the version of safe in your life and pick up your calling. So right now, I call you out of playing small. I call you into obedience and I call you into your assignment today. You, my friend, are not going to stay where it's comfortable. You are getting ready to step into what God is calling you to do. This is your wake-up call. You didn't survive just to survive. You survived because you were assigned. And friends, because I went through what you're going through, I was playing it small. I still was holding on to rejection and validation, and every bit of my identity was still tied to a place of worry and secrets. And then one day God was like, What are you waiting on? What is the holdup? Do you not see how uncomfortable I am making you? Do you not understand that you don't have to be qualified in other people's eyes? I am calling you. Your scars, your survival, those are road maps. But I'm gonna tell you something. Um, breakthrough does not happen in isolation, it happens in surrender and it happens in accountability. That's why I created inner access, which meets weekly, has access to master classes, and then Grace in the Breaking community, which meets bi-monthly. Wow, shucks. Why I even wrote the breaking for the season that took me out and the God who didn't, because I live this. I live the overthinking, I lived the silence, and I lived the fear. So I can stand here and tell you I know where you're coming from. I feel what you were feeling, but I can also tell you that I walked through deliverance. I let go of everything that was breaking me so I could walk in peace and surrender. And I'm gonna tell you something. Even after walking with Jesus for multiple years, I had no idea what was keeping me bound up. And every time something reveals its ugly little head, it's an invitation for me to invite the Holy Spirit in to heal it, to transform me, to continue to mold me like pliable putty in his hands. You don't need more information about your calling. You don't need more information about your dreams or desires. You just need activation. So pray this prayer with me today. God, I surrender my need to control. To hide and to play small. I break agreement with every bit of fear, overthinking, and the opinion of others. I take every thought captive and I align it with your truth. I use my testimony for your glory, Father. I will not stay silent. I will move in obedience in Jesus' mighty name. So just a reminder: you do not need more confirmation. You need to move. You are not too much. Your story is not too much. And your voice, it's not too late. You are not behind. You are right on time. So let me tell you something. Let me leave you with this. Heaven responds when you open your mouth. Are you ready to walk in freedom? I love you, friends. Till next time.
