This episode also addresses real struggles that can take hold beneath the surface, and encourages you not to fight those battles alone. Bringing things into the light can be the first step toward real change.

Who are you when no one's watching? I'm Bob Shaw, and this is Faith Fuel. It's easy to live a certain way when people are around. You know what to say, you know how to act. But what about the times when it's just you? Luke 16, verse 10 says, Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much. That applies to the parts of life no one else sees. The small decisions, what you watch when no one else is around, what you click on, how you handle your thoughts, the little compromises that don't seem like much in the moment. Nobody may see what you do in private, but God does. Over time, those are the things that shape who you're becoming. Psalm 139 says God knows you, He knows your thoughts, He sees what no one else sees. But He's not waiting to catch you doing something wrong. He just cares about who you are beneath the surface. Here's what that looks like. You live with the understanding that God sees you, not in a way that makes you nervous, but in a way that keeps you grounded. Luke 16 verse 10 talks about being faithful in the little things. That's where it starts. The choices no one else sees. That's where integrity is built. Integrity isn't about being perfect, it's about being consistent. The same person in private that you are in public. And for some people, this goes deeper than just small choices. There are habits that have a real grip. Things like alcohol, pornography, or other struggles that don't just go away because you ignore them. Calling them not a big deal doesn't make them smaller. If that's where you are, you don't have to fight it alone. This might be the time to bring someone else into it, a trusted friend, a pastor, a group that can walk with you through it. There's strength in bringing things into the light. God meets you there, not to condemn you, but to help you take the next step forward. And it starts with being honest about where you really are. Lord, help us be the same person in private as we are in public. Show us the areas where we've been overlooking things or making excuses. Give us the strength to be honest and the courage to take the next step when something needs to change. Thank you that you meet us with grace and help us move forward. In Jesus' name. Amen. If you want more of this kind of encouragement, follow Faith Fuel and keep it part of your day. I'm Bob Shaw. Peace and joy.
