Alright, welcome back to another episode of Are We Flirting?
SPEAKER_00I've your host.
SPEAKER_04I'm your host, Grayson.
SPEAKER_00And this is Are We Flirting.
SPEAKER_04Let's get right into it.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna try and cover the hidden spot.
SPEAKER_01Alright. He's trying to cover his hoopla.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, so yeah, we have a really fun episode for you guys. Probably I'd love to hear, you know, a little bit about your week. I haven't seen you since last night.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So what have I missed?
SPEAKER_04A lot has changed. A lot has changed. Um no, my week was pretty boring. I didn't really do much uh per usual. I just worked.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I worked. Um I had an interview with uh an acting school. That type of type of this tell me this. Yeah, so I had an interview with an acting school, and um they in the interview they were basically just trying to see like, am I like am I gonna be serious about this? And one of the questions that they asked was, what is like a dream role for you, or like what's a role that really stood out to you um, you know, in the in the past like couple years? And I I said I said Timothy Chalamet as Willy Wonka. I'll say this. At the time that I watched the the new uh Willy Wonka movie, I hadn't cried for maybe like a year, like a half year. That movie made me cry twice.
SPEAKER_00Are you kidding me? No, would you cry if you watched it again?
SPEAKER_04I don't know. I haven't watched it since. I'm scared.
SPEAKER_00Maybe we could watch it.
SPEAKER_04I'm scared of w feeling so emotionally vulnerable.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04While a man in a in a in a suit and a top hat is singing about chocolate and chocolate.
SPEAKER_00What's the one that everybody likes is stitched? There's a special song he does in it. Um and I have come to show you a marvelous one. Is this the one? I have to look up a singing song. There we go.
SPEAKER_04Oh, why don't you just go on Spotify?
unknownUm whiz.
SPEAKER_04This was one of the moments when I cried when he sang this. I was like, Oh, this one. Oh, apple droodle. Some people doodle. It's not this one that I was talking about. Anyway, here's the thing. Here's what I'll say. Here's what I'll say. Timothy Chalome can play Nate Jacobs like Jacob Alordy can, but Jacob Alordy can't play Willy Wonka like Timothy Chalome did.
SPEAKER_01I uh speak to the channel. That's all I'm gonna say.
SPEAKER_04That's all I'm gonna say.
SPEAKER_01All right, well shit. Yeah, I appreciate that. So do you think you got in?
SPEAKER_04Well, they said hey, they said, hey, we'll reach back out to you in a couple days. It's been more than a couple days.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04That inbox is dry as hell.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that makes sense. I think that this is a new look for you.
SPEAKER_04This look, the Canadian tuxedo?
SPEAKER_00No, no. Um, why don't you ex talk talk about the the new hair?
SPEAKER_04Oh, oh yeah, the hair. So one thing Sid and I are trying to do is we're really trying to work the algorithm. You know, that is the lifeblood of social media. That's how we get our names out there, and for some reason, at the time in which we are filming this, this will be now like a week and a half prior to the release date. Um, something about blondes, particularly named Alex, is big. That's really feeding a lot of algorithms. So Alex.
SPEAKER_01Yes, Alex.
SPEAKER_04Thank you, Alex. Um, the the blonde wig is just purely for relevancy because I I really want to just become available on everybody's for you.
SPEAKER_00So that's not that's not your real hair?
SPEAKER_04Um in a way.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_04How how would you how would you this is my real hair? Oh. Yeah. Okay. I really like what you did with it.
SPEAKER_00Thank you. Yeah. Do you prefer me as a blonde, Alex?
SPEAKER_04No, because right now you're it's you're given like Dolly Parton.
SPEAKER_00And you don't like that. You're given Dolly Parton.
SPEAKER_03Pardon me? Parton me?
SPEAKER_00I actually really like it.
SPEAKER_03Really? You like me with long hair?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I like I like the hair, and then the something about the contrast between the blonde, the highest circles. And your dark circles. And your your thick ass dark eyebrows, there's it's doing something.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, I definitely, and I'm gonna be eating a lot of hairs this podcast, and that's fine. It's a part of a new diet, and there's a peptide for it. Um, yeah, no, the when I saw when I first put the wig on and I looked in the mirror, I was like, oh my god, this is rough.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. Do you I I feel like, listen, hear me out. Would you ever think about growing your hair out?
SPEAKER_04No. I can't. There's this thing, there, there's this thing in boyhood called the awkward stage of growing one's hair out. I've tried to grow it out, but as soon as I reach the awkward stage, I'm like, I can't. I there's something about like looking ugly that I just it doesn't sit right with me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. Like me, it sits very well with me. Yeah, so I understand. For people that are watching this, we're currently um in Grayson's bedroom on his bed slash couch.
SPEAKER_04Yes, so still no mattress. Um, I am fighting the good fight. I'm trying to use my social media prowess to get a free mattress, particularly from Avocado, which, if you work for Avocado mattresses, it's a sustainable mattress. It's a great company. It really speaks to me and what I practice day in and day out.
SPEAKER_00And um So you're going on a sleeping strike, it looks like.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, can you tell me your eyes?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Avocado, listen.
SPEAKER_04Avocado, please.
SPEAKER_00Alex is not sleeping until he gets his his mattress, his avocado mattress. So he's on a sleeping strike.
SPEAKER_04I am, I am, I'm, and my back is really feeling the wrath. Yeah. Because this is not, I don't know if you can really bounce on this. The viewers are gonna love that.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, no, this is horrible for that. Yeah, this has no offense to this couch.
SPEAKER_04No, it's a great couch. Couch is like this.
SPEAKER_00Come on, you're sitting on me. Yeah, no, it's really great. When you lean back, all of the the couch falls off. But we did do a um a tour today of Grayson's apartment, so we'll either shut in here or have it as a separate video.
SPEAKER_04Speaking of Coachella and blonde hair, we just did a house tour. We walked around and she made fun of all my furniture, open concepts, so there's so much floor.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So God, we I didn't really multi-taunt. Yeah. That's crazy. I might launch a skincare brand.
SPEAKER_04You should, Alex. I think that'll be good.
SPEAKER_00Alex, you are so sweet.
SPEAKER_04Thanks. Some of social media would disagree.
SPEAKER_00We've been on a running journey together.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah. Have you done any more um because last week, right? We talked about the IRS run.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, the sketch. Right. Not the sketch, but the pattern in Strava.
SPEAKER_00Right. So for those that are unfamiliar with Strava, the workout app, you can make little uh routes on there. You can draw them and run them. So I've been doing fun shapes. That's the only way I can motivate myself to get off my uh couch. But I did a penis-shaped run, and I was sitting there editing a video of me um like going on my penis-shaped run and uh cracking up at my phone, like having a good time, and I start walking. And this guy must have thought that I was laughing at him or something, which to be honest, I was staring right into my phone, like I wasn't even looking up, and he's jump roping and cussing me out. So I hear something, and mind you, I just I'm high because I just went on a run. I'm on an SSRI, which I need to take today, it's bell remind me. And I am like just I'm in a good spot, I'm in a good place. I'm walking and I hear fucking cutting something like that with this the magic C word. So I take my headphone out and I was like, I turn around. This guy, whilst jump roping, is like, um, I'm gonna punch, I'm gonna punch you in the fucking face uh and and just goes off on a tangent on how like he makes more money than me and he's better than me, and then he's gonna beat me up. There was a lot going on. This woman walks over, and now I have like a crowd of people that are all watching this, and they're like, What did you do? And I'm like, genuinely nothing. But I did what anybody does, and they I whipped out my phone and started taking a video because I was like, I need proof. This is crazy. And and I showed my friends and they were like, Oh, this is like a normal guy. Like, he's he people thought it was maybe somebody who was like on drugs or something. No, this is a normal dude just screaming at me all two and he's doing jump rope tricks. Like, you know, I'm really good at doing this for the for the listeners. So, do you want to describe that?
SPEAKER_04So Sid was just flinging the microphone around as if to simulate jumping rope.
SPEAKER_00Yes, but like special shapes, like you know, those people that are really good at jump rope, like he was really good. I was kind of admiring him. And this woman comes over and she's jacked. She's probably like four foot eight, like shorter than Sabrina Carpenter. Okay, and she has just like insane upper body strength, and she walks over and she's like, What's the problem here? And I was like, I I love you. I don't like I just felt so safe. All the men around there stood standing there. This woman comes up and she's like, What's going on? I'm like, that's why I can't fuck with men sometimes, bro. Like, what do you mean? Would you step would you step in in that situation?
SPEAKER_04Um, I would be very confused. It sounds like if I was like a bystander and I didn't see anything happen, my first instinct would be like, Well, what's going on? Like, is this this is New York? Is there maybe somebody who's down on their luck who is evidently jumping rope? Um, like, is it did I would try and figure out like what what's actually happening? Um, did he have headphones in? Do you think he was like maybe on the phone with somebody?
SPEAKER_00I I don't know. I have a a video of it, and there's a part, the part that I recorded is him saying, Yeah, she's probably gonna jerk off to this later. And I have that, I'll show you it after this.
SPEAKER_04Okay, yeah, I would like to see the video evidence.
SPEAKER_00I thought I sent it to you, but I guess not.
SPEAKER_04But um Wait, did you send it to me?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but I think it was for my computer and I don't have storage, so it probably never delivered.
SPEAKER_04It I definitely would have sent it to the.
SPEAKER_03Oh my gosh. Embarrassing.
SPEAKER_04So my question about I'm sorry that happened to you first and foremost.
SPEAKER_03It's okay.
SPEAKER_04I'm glad that you're safe. I'm glad that a muscle mommy came in and stepped in and was like, hey, sweetheart. Shout out to her. Yeah, shout out to her. We know you're watching.
SPEAKER_00I love you. That was the sweetest thing ever. But this is what I'm saying. I think women just have this instinct where they're like, I need to step in here. Where sometimes I feel like, and I get it, maybe, maybe there's this piece of her that's like, oh, I'm a woman, so he can't like knock me out if I step in. Where like a man, I don't know if he's like unhinged and whatever. But I mean he was threatening to punch me a female woman.
SPEAKER_04And how far away was this guy from you?
SPEAKER_00Um, probably like uh like two meters. I'm just kidding, I don't know how long that is. Probably like um I want to say like five to ten feet away.
SPEAKER_04Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, very close. So I was very I was super confused. Um anyway, so uh beat McCarron Park.
SPEAKER_04McCarran Park.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I don't think I've ever been there.
SPEAKER_00It's it's in Brooklyn, and they have a lot of fun stuff going on in their all the time, lots of runners. Okay. So um, yeah, it kind of bummed me out a little bit.
SPEAKER_04I actually did cry because afterwards I felt so brave, and then I walked back, and then the second I got in the house, I was like There there is something about like the adrenaline of being in a situation like that where once you're in the come down of like, oh my god, I could have just got like beat up or something, yeah, like assaulted. Um there that is like a natural emotional response. There's like a literal science behind it. Yeah, the release of all that.
SPEAKER_00I I've I really feel like there is when you're older and you get hurt or you're in a situation like that, you there's this party that's just like mom, and there was no mom. There was muscle mommy though. Yeah. So shout out to her again.
SPEAKER_04So then how did this get resolved?
SPEAKER_00Um, it didn't I walked back and I was really scared, but I was trying to walk like I had some swag. Like I was I wasn't like walking fast, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_04I was kinda like You were trying to show that like I'm not afraid of you, motherfucker. Yeah. Was it was this like a big guy that was?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, very strong, very strong looking man. Okay.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, big rope.
SPEAKER_00I know. He was like really uh anyway, so I went on Reddit. I did what any same person does, and I go on Reddit, and I um make a make a post on like one of the pages, and I'm like this no, no, no. I it was um like a neighborhood page, and I was like, Oh, I saw this random girl getting yelled at by this dude. He had a tattoo on his shoulder. Hoping some nobody said anything, nobody cared. But I was hoping someone would be like, that happened to me too, you know.
SPEAKER_04But yeah, anywho.
SPEAKER_00So um, yeah, so running's going really well.
SPEAKER_04So the penis that you drew, circumcised, uncircumcised, veiny. I mean, describe it to me.
SPEAKER_00That it's circumcised. Like who I'm anti-circumcision.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_00How do you feel about it? Are you circumcised?
SPEAKER_04Um, I am. Okay. Shout out to my parents. Uh, they chopped off a little too much, if you ask me. Uh no, I I am. I am circumcised. I I'm a clean person. I like to feel clean. I think if there was an opportunity for shmegma, and this is usually the part where people tune out, so we can say this. Um spoil spoiler alert. Spoiler alert. Shmagma alert. Um, yeah, no, I just I think from a cleanliness standpoint, I I would prefer to to not have skin that could be infected in that way, in that capacity.
SPEAKER_00Welp I have a lot of beef with this. So here's the thing it's the same thing with vaginas. You have to move some things around.
SPEAKER_04Is your vagina circumcised?
SPEAKER_00No, but maybe it should be. Um you have to move some things around to clean. Like a normal person. In what world this uh circumcision was a religious thing. That's why they started doing it. Yes. So but we kind of just kept it around, and it actually doesn't make too much sense. Like, pull the skin back and clean it. This is craziness to me. I don't I don't know why we were like, we have to botch off a part of your skin to be able to clean. Just teach teach boys how to pull back. It's the same thing with women.
SPEAKER_04Well, my uh I guess deductive reasoning is back in the day when cleanliness standards were not as up to par as they are today. It was probably getting a lot more infected more often back then when the rule was established. And so therefore, the domino effect in today, now that we have modern five in one body wash for boys, um you know that didn't exist back in biblical times. Um so I think now you're right.
SPEAKER_00And I do so should we keep doing it?
SPEAKER_04Well, I think there's a general trend where people are now, especially in the US, not getting their children circumcised, unless it's for religious rel reasons. It used to be like a trend. People were just doing it for fun. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Now it's like And it's it's just like insane to cut off a part of your dick just because of c cleanly purposes. Like there's other things like that, other parts of the body. Should I cut off my ears? Because I have to do a little more work.
SPEAKER_04Because of the earwax? Yeah. It's hard to cut off like the inside.
SPEAKER_00Well, the outside too. I mean, there's a lot to clean. So last night we went to the club and Grayson pretended to No, he didn't pretend. Well, Grayson was in line with a bunch of beautiful women.
SPEAKER_04Hachi Machi, hello a wooga. That was kind of the vibe of me being in line.
SPEAKER_00So Grayson was in line with a bunch of beautiful women and he decided to just sort of go into this mode where he was like, I'm just gonna not full send being like super masculine right now. I'm gonna complement the bouncer's nails.
SPEAKER_04Here's the thing about club culture. So as a straight man, and I can speak on this, as a straight man, there you are more likely not to get let into a club as a straight man. Even though I was with a group of women, um, like you're you're more than likely not like a bouncer will see you and be like, sorry, man, not tonight. I've had that happen very many times.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's that is kind of sad.
SPEAKER_04That's okay.
SPEAKER_00But also, I'm like, what's the goal here? Like, do they just want just a bunch of women?
SPEAKER_04They want a bunch of baddies in the club. I don't know if you remember when we got in, it was just a bunch of dudes.
SPEAKER_00Oh, really?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I don't really look at men.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Well, I looked at everybody around us because I was like, all right, who here could beat me up?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I went into fight or flight mode pretty quickly.
SPEAKER_00Well, I love it because Grayson was really worried that he was cock blocking all the women there.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I felt bad. Like, I one thing about me, I'm very protective of the people that I'm around. And I know it's gross when guys just like approach women on the dance floor. So, like, I was just kind of trying to be a blockade between the gross, uh, overly confident, drunk guys that are just like, Oh, here's a beautiful girl who's by herself and a group of women. I'm gonna go grind up on her.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you were you were quite the chameleon. Guys would come up to us and we're like, Oh, that's our boyfriend. Like, you were everybody's you were all of our community.
SPEAKER_04The collective boyfriend.
SPEAKER_00The collective boyfriend. It was amazing.
SPEAKER_04It takes a village. I take care of my my people.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it was really special. Um, but we had a good time. It was a really quite a weird place.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we weren't there for very long. We were only there for like an hour. I shouldn't, I didn't even as soon as we went in there, I was like, I should have gone home.
SPEAKER_00Well, I was cracking up because I'm looking at your location, and then I was looking at my friend Nina's location. She's like one of my best friends, and they were overlapping. Your little faces were on top of each other at Nina's apartment, and I was like, Oh, what's going on here? And then Isabella's loaded and Lauren's loaded. I'm like, no, they're having an orgy without me. I was very upset.
SPEAKER_04No, it was uh I was because you said you guys were going to the club. This was earlier in the day because we were hanging, we were hanging out or something. Were we? No, I asked you if you wanted to go to that event as my plus one. I asked four people, everybody said no.
SPEAKER_01Who dressed first?
SPEAKER_04Uh you. And then I asked uh Nigel Roxberry, shout out Chris, and then I asked Bree Morales, shout out, are you okay?
SPEAKER_00And then I asked one more person and everyone was busy.
SPEAKER_04Everybody was busy, they had something going on, which is fine. Um, I don't like going to events with people typically, but this one I was like, I don't know what the event is. Yeah. It's all right. It's poking me in the eyes.
SPEAKER_00You can just move this up a little.
SPEAKER_04Do you feel the sweat? Do you feel the beads of sweat?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's yours now. At a tour costume clo closet.
SPEAKER_04Um I women, women everywhere. I don't know how you do it.
SPEAKER_00How do you how we have hair?
SPEAKER_04My neck is hot.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Oh, wait, that song was like the first song that came on when we were in the club. It was like my neck, my back, my pussy, and my crap. Like that was the first song, and we were like, I don't remember that. It was really also shout out um Robbie. He was there, and I think he said he listens to the podcast. I was a little drunk, so thanks for shout out Robbie. And then also today on the train, shout out Brian for it too, which it was crazy. Anytime someone says they listen to the podcast, I'm like, really? I'm like, why? I'm like, why do you do that? We don't even listen to this. Like, I have to listen when I edit it, and I'm like annoyed the whole time. I um wanted to let you know I have a a surprise for you.
SPEAKER_03Oh boy. Okay.
SPEAKER_00It's a special, it's a special Oh, is it my birthday? No, no, no, no, but I it's a prank. Special prank.
SPEAKER_04Okay. What is the prank?
SPEAKER_00Okay. I signed you up for a half marathon.
SPEAKER_03Are you serious?
SPEAKER_00And I can't remember if it's August or October, but I signed you up. Are you kidding? No. So get ready. I'm so excited about it.
SPEAKER_04Uh, where is it?
SPEAKER_00Um, it's New York. I think it's a Brooklyn, but I'm not even sure.
SPEAKER_04The way my heart just sank into my.
SPEAKER_00Oh no, you're gonna do good. It's like 13 miles. You'll be fine.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I don't I don't think I've ever ran 13 miles in my life.
SPEAKER_00I know, but I think this could be really good for you. Isn't it fun?
SPEAKER_04That's what I love. I love when my friends sign me up for things without my knowledge and they go, No, this is gonna be good for you.
SPEAKER_00No, I well, I will say, as somebody who had somebody sign me up for a half marathon, it was a really fun experience. I had a panic attack the whole time. But then after I got past the um 12 mile mark and then really wanted to throw up at the 13 mile mark, because there's like 13.1 or something, I started crying because it was like I was really beautiful. So hopefully you have that kind of experience, like how you felt with Willie Wonka.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah. So is it are we it's October?
SPEAKER_00I'm not sure if it's August or October.
SPEAKER_04Okay, well, let's hope for the last. I would like a little more time to get ready.
SPEAKER_00I think I did the October one, but I because I was thinking, I'm like, oh, if it's August, it's probably gonna be really hot.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So hopefully it's October. I'll double check after this. I'll send you the details. Isn't that fun?
SPEAKER_04Are you also running this?
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_04Oh, for so now you don't there's finally something you don't want to do together. Okay.
SPEAKER_00No, um, we'll be there together. I'll be supporting you. I'll make a sign and stuff.
SPEAKER_04I do not want to see a single person that I know.
SPEAKER_00I'm bringing everyone. We're all gonna go.
SPEAKER_04You two's not paying attention.
SPEAKER_00No, no, no. I'm I'm talking to the internet.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00Sorry, Alex, chill.
SPEAKER_04Um, yeah, sorry, Alex. Um Damn. Yeah, no, I don't I don't want anybody there. I don't want anybody there. Zero.
SPEAKER_00Well, I I obviously I have all the details, so I'm gonna tell everyone. And you have to do it because I spent my hard-earned money on it, and I'm unemployed.
SPEAKER_04I will pay for a disguise. So you guys don't recognize me.
SPEAKER_00I would recognize your gait from a million miles away.
SPEAKER_04My gate?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04What is that?
SPEAKER_00That's like the way you look when you walk and run.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00I would recognize it.
SPEAKER_04I thought that was like a weird sex thing. Speaking of sex things, have you seen Euphoria, the new season?
SPEAKER_00No. And then I should have. But I'm I'm really thrown off by this and super upset about it.
SPEAKER_04It's the It's repulsive. Yeah, so I I started. The new season of Euphoria. I've never seen I didn't see season one or two. I was like, you know what? Season three. I'm gonna make this my homework to watch this show. So I saw episode one. There's like I don't know what the purpose of the show is, but if it's to be like super demeaning to women, that's it's certainly accomplishing that. I was watching this and I was like, this is just This is like what I imagine every like pubescent late middle school, early high school boy to imagine like what being a drug dealer is. It's just like women doing horrible, nasty things on the behalf of men. That's the entire show.
SPEAKER_00Well, I I also think um I don't know if they showed this yet. Spoiler alert, um, I don't know if they showed this yet, but Sydney Sweeney is a sense so she's an OnlyFans creator, and then I think she's also they're like um sort of infantilizing her. She's doing some childlike OnlyFans shit, and basically they were like, How did this not come across enough desks? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, yeah, they they get you some. That's okay. You'll get used to it.
SPEAKER_00But uh yeah, I just don't know how there weren't more safeguards, people being like, hey, what if we didn't do this? Yeah, yeah. There's a million sexual kinks, I feel like that they could have played into.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, the the like Sydney Sweeney's first scene is her being like a dog and being like like barking and she dressed up as like a puppy.
SPEAKER_00You saw Wuthering Heights, right?
SPEAKER_04I did not.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00Okay, well, there's this an animal scene with Jacob Alordy, and they were like, if you if I had a nickel for every scene that Jacob Alordi was doing like animal play with a it like an in a film this year, I'd have two nickels and that's like too many.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's it's not a not, but it's it's not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
SPEAKER_00It's like so crazy. Wait, we actually should watch that. I want to start doing film nights with friends where like you get together and we watch something and then we talk about the film after.
SPEAKER_04I think I need more guy friends for sure.
SPEAKER_00Okay, well, we should hang out with our special friends that we're gonna see later.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, yeah. I I am I am trying to do that.
SPEAKER_00Um you feel like you have too many female friends.
SPEAKER_04Well, it hit me last night when we were in the club, and I was uh I think I fended off the fourth eligible bachelor that was trying to get to you guys where I was like, I do love watching sports, live sports, and like having four beers and then going home. That is like my preferred Thursday night, I would say.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_04Um, and it's not that I can't do that with my friends that are women, but I just I think I know more men who would be There's a male part of you that needs to be tapped into. Yeah, exactly. I need I need my male parts tapped for sure. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Do you feel like it's a red flag when men have more female friends than women? No, and I say that it's a red flag when men have more women friends than male friends.
SPEAKER_04No, I don't think so. And I say that as somebody who has more friends that are women than men. Um I just always grew up around women, being at home two older sisters. So, um oh, I'm sorry. I'm not perfect. Alex.
SPEAKER_00Sorry, Alex, go ahead.
SPEAKER_04Um, that's okay, Alex. Um no, I don't think that's a red flag. I think if I'm just more because I didn't have like I would say in college, um, is where I started to notice where I was like, man, it's I feel like it's so much easier to get to know a woman. And I think it's because of what we talked about where men don't really talk about like they they talk next to each other, not to each other. Yep. And so when I'm talking to a woman, it's easier to get to know her because she's also like directing questions at me of like, you know, where'd you come from? Where'd you go where'd you come from, Cotton I Joe, stuff like that? Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um and truthfully, there's nothing that a group of women and an and a night out cannot fix. Like, I swear to God, when I'm when I'm with my girlfriends, like there is genuinely nothing like it, though. We can get really emotional with each other, be all like sweeties with each other, we compliment each other, and then we can like go and shake a little tail. And I feel like it's just a really good combination where sometimes I feel like men only really have that part that Isabella looks up from her phone, she's like, um, but I feel like men only really have the piece that sometimes is just like going out and shaking a little tail.
SPEAKER_04Well, I will say this. I think it's also therapeutic when I do like when I do go out and get a beer with the bros. When you watch a little sport. Yeah, I watch a little sports, a little sports game. We chop it up. Show.
SPEAKER_01I'll watch sports with you.
SPEAKER_04What which what's your favorite sport? Not a good start.
SPEAKER_00All it's I was trying to decide. I have so many. Okay. My favorite one soccer.
SPEAKER_04Okay, who's your favorite soccer team?
SPEAKER_00Barcelona.
SPEAKER_04Okay. When do you when's the last time you watched Barcelona?
SPEAKER_00When I was Barcelona. When I was in Barcelona. Oh, okay. Alright.
SPEAKER_04So relatively recently.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it was like a big one.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah. How was that? You want to talk about your team?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I don't care, it's but it was a good step.
SPEAKER_04Alright, on to the next segment. I'll I'll keep going about you. I d I just I'm watching this and I'm like, I don't know who this is for. I it's not it's not for it's certainly not for women to watch that and be like, oh yeah, this is entertaining. Yeah the entire time it's just the main character. She's like a drug mule now, and her like her life sucks. Um, like the old the only people whose life sucks so far in the first episode is all of the women.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04None of them are like doing thriving. Yeah, none of them are thriving. At least in a thri I say thriving in a way where it's like they're doing what they want to do and they're successful at it. The only guy that is like the only person in the show that's like doing what they want to do and they're successful at it and getting what they want out of it is Jacob Alorty. He can't keep winning. He can't keep getting away with this.
SPEAKER_00Enough.
SPEAKER_04Enough.
SPEAKER_00Well, I I want to see it because I do love Zendaya. Speaking of Zendaya.
SPEAKER_04Speaking of.
SPEAKER_00You saw the drama before I got here. Yes. And I saw it two nights ago.
SPEAKER_04I saw the last hour and 15 minutes of the drama. I accidentally, in my drunken stupor last night, I bought a movie ticket um to see the drama.
SPEAKER_00It's a crazy thing to do.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I just get Taco Bell.
SPEAKER_04Well, I also, this was simultaneously with getting Taco Bell. I'm a multitasker after all. Um, and yeah, I I didn't look at like when the movie time was. I was just like, I'll figure it out. I thought I it was for like 115. It was fully 1215. Yeah. And so I was looking, I was like, oh shit. So I had to hustle on over to the movie theater. Yeah. And I saw I I was 30 minutes late, but yeah. I gathered enough. I know what happens in the film.
SPEAKER_00So spoiler alert. I can't say that word. You know, I have a little bit of a speech impediment, right?
SPEAKER_04Which word?
SPEAKER_00I can't say spoiler alert. Try to say that three times.
SPEAKER_03One more time.
SPEAKER_00I'm not you try it.
SPEAKER_03Spoiler alert.
SPEAKER_00Say it all together.
SPEAKER_03Spoiler alert.
SPEAKER_00Spoiler alert. It's really hard for me anyway. I gotta my tongue. I gotta get my tongue clipped. My little brother guy's tongue clipped.
SPEAKER_03And I need to.
SPEAKER_00Apparently that's a thing though. Like people need that. I can't do like the that long. How long can you do it?
SPEAKER_04You want me to see how long I can go? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Alright, listeners. Skip forward 30 seconds. Go with my tongue.
SPEAKER_00Ew. Alright, now after that comment, I don't know. This is how long I can go. Because of the tongue thing. And I learned how to roll my R's from saying sombrero over and over again. Sombrero. And then I learned how to whistle really loud from my high school ex-boyfriend who stuck his fingers in my mouth for me and showed me where they're supposed to go, and then I whistled. Alright. Like that loud whistle.
SPEAKER_04I'm pretty sure that happens in the next episode of Euphoria.
SPEAKER_00Speaking of, okay, so spoiler alert with the drama. Oh, I did good there. With the drama. Um I wanna I want to know because the whole premise is, you know, did he want to go through with marrying her after finding out that she planned a school shooting? Didn't go through with it, but had it fully planned, had the weapon, everything. And then I was wondering, would you still be my friend if you found out that I planned a school shooting but didn't go through with it in the same circumstances?
SPEAKER_04Um and this is a joke. I feel like I have to preface this by saying that. I would I would be like, I would be like, oh, let's compare notes. Me too, sister. God no, I I So what was the discussion we had yesterday? Was we we were trying to figure out like how the ending was interpreted? Because how did you interpret the ending? You think that they are going to stick it out?
SPEAKER_00I think that he was crazier than her, and I think that she was lacking community, was super bullied, and I don't think that I think she's still a little bit crazy. It's a crazy thing to do. He was literally having uh visions of of what was gonna happen. This is what we were talking about. The fact that he couldn't go through with cheating on her was similar to how she couldn't go through with the shooting, and I feel like their chemistry completely changed after that. The way that they interacted felt normal again. I kind of feel like they were they were good for each other. I also felt like um ro I almost said Edward Pattinson, Robert Pattinson's acting in that was so good.
SPEAKER_04It was very good, so natural, very, very good. I didn't see the first 30 minutes, as I previously stated. Did we get into his background and upbringing?
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_04So I think the biggest reason why I I don't agree with what you're saying, where like you're like he's just as crazy as her. I think based on what I saw and interpreted from his life and like his relationship with his parents and the short scenes that we got from like the actual wedding, which was not much, it was just like maybe very minor interactions. Yeah, it was mostly just like looks between his mom and his dad. Um it seems like he had a pretty standard, like very normal, natural, successful upbringing where like everything was kind of perfect for him because he's what a mu uh art curator at a museum, like a very popular museum.
SPEAKER_01He was so hot.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Uh besides the point, but that's fine. You know, a lot of people say I look like Robert Pattinson.
SPEAKER_00Nobody says that to you. No one's ever said that to you one time.
SPEAKER_04I can literally go to a comment right now from TikTok that says, You look like I think they said I think they said a a a worse looking version of Robert Pattinson. I can go to the TikTok.
SPEAKER_00Because I'm attracted to Robert Pattinson.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_00No, that's don't do don't say that.
SPEAKER_04Alright, that's fine. Hey. Hey audience.
SPEAKER_00He looks a lot like my one X.
SPEAKER_04Robert Pattinson?
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_04Okay. I don't necessarily think he was crazy. I just think he's always had this very perfect life, and then this one mix-up. This one hang up where his uh his fiancee, Zendaya, um, she had this like dark harbored secret, and that because it was something that was so out of the ordinary for him, it just threw his life off track. Yeah. And like that is just like the camel that broke the very sensitive, very easily fragile camel's back.
SPEAKER_00The straw, you mean?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It was the camel that fucking stomped on the other camel's back. Yeah. Fucking broke that shit, gave it scoliosis for life.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So that was my interpretation.
SPEAKER_00You've imagined you said that.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_00Well, we'll You were in my dream last night. I just remembered.
SPEAKER_04Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00You were you were pulling me out of the club by my hand. And your hand was really sweaty. Now it just came to me. Sometimes my dream came to me later.
SPEAKER_04Okay. I mean, I believe the sweaty part, but I don't think it's a good one.
SPEAKER_00But then I was like, was it a dream? No, you just grabbed it. It wasn't like a s like a sweet thing. It was it was like, Sid, let's fucking go. Okay, gotcha. But it was really sweaty. Wait, can I feel your hand? Like a little more than that.
SPEAKER_04That one's not as sweaty, I don't think.
SPEAKER_00When's last time you dreamt about me?
SPEAKER_04Uh it's been a while.
SPEAKER_00Remember?
SPEAKER_04I do remember. And I know and I know you remember too.
SPEAKER_00Anyway. It's normal to dream about your friends if you see them a lot, then they're gonna be in your mind.
SPEAKER_04I I've been having a lot of apocalyptic dreams. Okay. Like like the dream I had not last night, because I didn't have any dreams because I was blackout drunk when I went to bed, but the the night before that. Um, it was essentially apocalypse where like volcanoes were blowing up, uh, the world was ending, and I was just kind of there.
SPEAKER_01So basically, like what's going on now?
SPEAKER_00Yes. So maybe you're just anxious about the current political circumstances.
SPEAKER_04Hmm. That certainly could be it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. What do you think my problem is?
SPEAKER_04Um, where to begin? Like, honestly. How much time do we have?
SPEAKER_00I feel like you've never I just thought about this right now. I feel like you've never told me this, just like like what's my problem?
SPEAKER_04Um I would be honest. Oh, I'm going to. I'm actually way ahead of you on that one. Um, so I think your problem is, is uh you definitely feel this need, and I don't we don't have to get into your background as to like where it originates from, but but I feel like you have this innate desire to take care of people in a very like maternalistic way, and not everybody needs to be babysat in that way.
SPEAKER_00Is this because last night at the club I was checking in on you and then you were like, I don't want to be babysat?
SPEAKER_04Yes.
unknownThat's me too.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, literally, as soon as I get to Nina counts, she's like, Are you okay? Is everything okay?
SPEAKER_00I'm like If there was another man there, I don't think we'd feel the need, to be honest. I feel like it's because you're the only one that we're just like, Hey, is everything good?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Well we're like, Oh, are you alright? Being surrounded by a bunch of bad bitches. Is everything okay?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, God forbid. I'm actually in paradise. Thanks for checking in.
SPEAKER_00Of all of my friends.
SPEAKER_04Oh, here we go.
SPEAKER_00If you had to take one of them on a date tomorrow, who would it be?
SPEAKER_04Of all of your friends?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Of all the friends last night.
SPEAKER_04Oh, come on. What why are you doing this to me? No, come on, you have to pick. Well, none of them listen to this, so and I'm not gonna pick the one person that's here.
SPEAKER_01So would you have picked her if she wasn't here?
SPEAKER_04No. Um I don't know, honestly. Uh what's the date?
SPEAKER_00Okay, you're out to uh dinner, and it's it's like a cocktail bar with really great appetizers, and there's some live music, and then after that, you're gonna have ice cream in the park, and then after that, you're gonna go to a bouncy house.
SPEAKER_04Bouncy house? Yeah. This is definitely a date with Nina Count.
unknownI knew he was gonna say that.
SPEAKER_04Well, I just I mean, that I feel like she would be.
SPEAKER_00You already were thinking of her. No, I was not when I when you kept asking of all my friends, is because you were counting for Holly. Okay, cool. I'm glad we got that. Do you want me to answer which ones of your friends?
SPEAKER_04Sure.
SPEAKER_00Simona.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, we've established that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Simona, I know you don't listen to this podcast.
SPEAKER_04Simona, I know you don't listen to it.
SPEAKER_00I love you. I said of his friends. You're mine. You're my friend. You're my wife.
SPEAKER_04Think again.
SPEAKER_00Stop.
SPEAKER_04Before we move off the topic of the drama, I do want to say this. So one thing I can't figure out if it was the case. So at the very end of the movie, this is spoiler alert. At the very end of the movie, they enter the little diner and they do their little foreplay thing where it's like, hi, where they pretend to like meet them, each other for the first time again. I thought I heard Robert Pattinson say it was nice to meet you, instead of it is nice to meet you, and this could just be because of his little accent. But thanks, Alex. Um, I think I if if that one word changes, it changes the entire ending of the movie for me. I need to rewatch it. So I think I could have sworn I heard him say it was nice to meet you. I think if that is the case, they don't end up together. And this was just like she was basically just saying, like, I don't hate you for what you did. Because I think that's why he was reacting the way he was. Because he had finally like accepted it is who she is. He still loved her, anyways. And so that's why I think if he did say it was nice to meet you, they do go their separate ways, but he finally just like forgave her for what she did, and then she had accepted that she they weren't gonna end up together because of how things went at the wedding. Because he cheated.
SPEAKER_00Good point, Alex.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, thanks, Alex.
SPEAKER_00Listeners, do you feel like they're a good match? Comment below. Do you think they're good they're good for each other?
SPEAKER_04If you've seen the movie, let us know.
SPEAKER_00Let it and let us know. Yeah. Awesome. I wanted to ask you a question because I was in the middle of stalking an ex's ex-girlfriend.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_00Interesting.
SPEAKER_04I don't I don't look at my exes or actually neither of my exes have social media. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00What uh that is so so vastly different from the life you live, huh?
SPEAKER_04I know.
SPEAKER_00Is that why you loved them?
SPEAKER_04Uh well one of 'em did have social media, but she deleted it.
SPEAKER_00Because of you?
SPEAKER_04No, she just hated it always. And then the other one just never had social media.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_00How'd you guys meet then? In real life?
SPEAKER_04High school.
unknownHigh school sweetheart.
SPEAKER_04Mm-hmm. And now she's married.
SPEAKER_00To another high school sweetheart?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_00Are you jealous of him?
SPEAKER_04No. He was a nice guy. I met him.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, this is so much tea. Okay.
SPEAKER_04No, it's not. They're I mean, I haven't spoken to the team.
SPEAKER_00Well, they won't listen to this and we know that.
SPEAKER_04That's true. That is true. So time to air out all the teeth.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04No, it was it was uh it was one of those things where it was just like it was a high school thing that we just I I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't know how to be a boyfriend, let alone a good boyfriend. So like I just I didn't do anything right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It's depressing. Well, um, wait, I wanted to share with you. So I feel like if you were a woman, this would be more fun, but you're a man. There are so so many women and I that have talked about like ways that we have stalked an ex or an ex like or someone we're dating's exes from the past.
SPEAKER_03So one time is there more than one way?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, what do you mean? Like there's Instagram, there's whatever. Oh, so like different Yeah, there's Venmo transactions, like there's so many things that you can do. But I just learned on Strava, Strava shout-out, that an ex is private on social media, so I can see her stuff on Strava though. This is public, and I'm like, oh my god, she's doing so well. Like she's really, she's a really good runner. I know that this is a product of being bisexual, but I'm I was always fascinated by men I would date, like their exes. I would always hyperfix it on them, and I would be like so I would literally just like love looking at them. Okay, especially because like some of them are so hot. This is a little bit crazy, can I tell you? Yeah, please. Okay, so I was seeing this guy, and he one time in an intimate setting called me the name of his ex-girlfriend, and it was I think Valerie. Okay, and that's all I had was just her first name, and then how they met, which was at their college. That's all I had. I didn't know what year she was, anything. So I went and um watched the commencement ceremonies for the the like his year, the year after him, the year before him, and it was like long, it was really long. It was probably like an hour and like 45 minutes each, and I would watch it at two times speed, just waiting to hear her name being called, and then eventually I heard Valerie multiple last names, and so I would look each of them up, and then I eventually found her.
SPEAKER_04That is you should become a detective.
SPEAKER_00I know. Uh my mom says that all the time. She's always like, Oh my god, you always had to know like everything I was doing and like all the stuff I bad stuff I was doing. And I would, I would find out I'm really good at it.
SPEAKER_04What did that do for you to find them? Yeah, find the person that you were looking for.
SPEAKER_00That's a really good question. I had to talk about in therapy because I don't understand. Someone said this once, trigger warning. Um, emotional cutting is what I like to do. I like to put myself in situations that like sting. Okay. They hurt.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Is that why you you involve yourself in so many of my plans?
SPEAKER_00And I'm like, I know you're gonna say no and I ask anyway. Yeah, I guess that's like some version of it.
SPEAKER_04No, I just can't.
SPEAKER_00Just rejection.
SPEAKER_04Rejection therapy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's that's why I do it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Alex, you're crazy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Alex, you're crazier.
SPEAKER_00Well, speaking of Alex and Alex, I don't actually know anything about their drama.
SPEAKER_04I don't either.
SPEAKER_00But I know everyone's involved. Like, I know Bree Chicken Fry is in there. I know that like uh Dave Portnoy does like T by L C I'm perplexed by that man.
SPEAKER_04He's frying alive on the beach. All of his all of his like latest videos, it's him just like one shade of skin cancer darker.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I don't know if you've seen the Spongebob movie.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Where they're under the lamp. Yeah. Like that's what it feels like to me.
SPEAKER_04That it is like he's like back with another update. It's like, brother, put some sunblock on. I don't need an update.
SPEAKER_00T by the C.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. That's what it's called. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So anyway, I'm trying to figure out what's going on with them. I don't really know. I just to be honest, and I mean this with all due respect, I can't always tell who's who. Like it takes me a minute. It's like when you see a set of twins.
SPEAKER_04It's kind of like with us.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. Just like that. But it's like when you see a set of twins that you're not that familiar with and you're oh you're mixing up their names because you're like, they look alike and they have the same name.
SPEAKER_04Yep. Oh, yeah. I was like, wait, what? And then I remembered Alex. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Alex and Alex. So um, yeah, I'm curious what's what's happening. I thought it was a PR stunt, but it's a good thing.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, sort of, because they both have like big things coming out, or that just came out.
SPEAKER_00Uh this is how sorry.
SPEAKER_04You're so bored by this. No, it's because and this is a callback joke, it's because I'm not sleeping.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I know, I can tell.
SPEAKER_04Just kidding.
SPEAKER_00I like that this looks like toxic waste.
SPEAKER_04That was verbal cutting. Except you cut me. Um, yeah, it looks like piss. Um, no, like that'll be a toxic waste.
SPEAKER_00If you take B complex before drinking, which I've done a couple times, it actually really helps with hangovers. But you complex? Yeah. But your P comes out looking like that. I feel like you're thinking of a bit for B complex.
SPEAKER_04I was, yeah.
SPEAKER_00God, I know you too well at this point. Yeah. That's literally worse.
SPEAKER_04Could you see it in my eyes that my they started to like?
SPEAKER_00Oh no, yeah. I literally can tell immediately. Like if I say something, I'm like, you're not even listening anymore. Oh, wait, I remember what I was gonna say. Today on the subway, I experienced my first foot fetish. I'm on the subway and I just I have my feet out and I was testing this guy. I would like to move them up and then move them back, and I could see he was just like this. At one point, I'm pretty sure he had his phone out and was kind of just like this. And I knew because I moved them back and then the phone moved back. And I'm like, this little dirty cuck. So I'm hiding them, I'm like tucking them back, and he was shaking in his boots. Like I had never seen anything like this. And I feel like, you know, we talk about foot fet fetish eyes all the time, but never have I ever actually witnessed this in real life. But this man was hungry. Yeah. So I was like, pay him, take him out to dinner first.
SPEAKER_04Was there something that your toes were doing that other people's toes weren't?
SPEAKER_00People they were hidden other people's toes.
SPEAKER_04Oh, so yours were clearly visible.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, my toes were out to play.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so the sand so that that's the sandals were the vessel and your toes were the message.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Wait, this is actually uh fuck, should I go blonde?
SPEAKER_04No. So with this sex pervert on the subway.
SPEAKER_00Dude, I might go blonde.
SPEAKER_04Dog, no.
SPEAKER_00That kind of eats.
SPEAKER_04No, it doesn't. Okay, I'll take my. First of all, you would have to destroy your hair in order to get it to be this shade.
SPEAKER_00Can you like smile like this is your real hair? Okay, that wasn't a smile, but that's like honestly, isn't that kind of hard? I look Bro, you look you look like a little bit hot. I'll be honest.
SPEAKER_04I look deeply disturbed.
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_04I need to get more sleep. Let's go back to the foot fetish guy.
SPEAKER_00You can't sleep because every time you close your eyes, you dream about me.
SPEAKER_04No. W so when you're on the subway and this guy is like totally perving out, did you did it was this like from one stop to another? Like how long was this going on for?
SPEAKER_00I was taking the L from deep in Brooklyn to f to 14th Street to go to a Halloween town high or whatever, where I got these wigs. First of all, this Halloween, it's literally called like Halloween costumes store.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_00This store, it's off of Broadway. I've never met a group of people that were so excited to do their job. Like it was so sweet in there. Everybody was the most helpful ever. So kind. I got elf ears for us. Like they were they were like, Oh, you can do this one. If you want like latex, you can do this one. This one looks more realistic. They were just so into it, so sweet. So if you're gonna get your costumes, go to this place.
SPEAKER_04Go to the Halloween store.
SPEAKER_00Halloween costume. I think it's literally called Halloween costumes.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's no, it's no. It makes sense that they would be excited for people to come into the store in April because they're probably no There was a lot of people in there. Really?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. And a lot, you know what I think it is? A lot of people do drag and they get costumes there.
SPEAKER_04Oh, that does make sense. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But I had a blast in there. I I think I want a costume closet.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_00Like I've I've loved costumes ever since I was a little kid.
SPEAKER_04So do you have a closet closet?
SPEAKER_00Okay. Well. So you're just like, okay, yeah, you have a couple closets. Your living room doesn't even have a fucking couch, so.
SPEAKER_04I could move this in there and then my then my living room.
SPEAKER_00Then you don't have a bed. Edward.
unknownEdward!
SPEAKER_00I could see Team Jacob or Team Edward, Alex.
SPEAKER_04Um, I'm always Team Alex. And I'll let you decide which Alex I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_00Okay, but which one would you pick if you had to? Team Edward or Team Jacob?
SPEAKER_04Team Edward.
SPEAKER_00Why? Me too.
SPEAKER_04Um well I think by the end of the storyline, he had the most like normal journey, you know?
SPEAKER_00That's a crazy thing to say about him. He literally sucks blood out of people's throats.
SPEAKER_04Okay, and Jacob imprinted himself on a child because he was another belt.
SPEAKER_00That's actually creepy. Growth. That's nuts.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But like she did grow up fast, which I guess is like, okay. I guess he groomed the shove or Jacob should be on Epstein's Island.
SPEAKER_04He is a werewolf, so grooming is normal to him. Do you see my eyes go to that place?
SPEAKER_00I aren't. Like, you know what hard is that? I know you're not listening to me. You're just thinking about what you're gonna say next. Are you like this on dates?
SPEAKER_04I haven't been on many dates recently.
SPEAKER_00You literally were on one like a week ago.
SPEAKER_04I was, yeah.
SPEAKER_00He's so annoying. It went well. Yeah? Do you love her?
SPEAKER_04She might listen to this.
SPEAKER_00You think so? I think so. One person.
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_00Awesome. Alright, give her a shout out.
SPEAKER_04Uh no, yeah. It's been a while since I like I've I really haven't gone on a ton of dates uh in the last like three months. In January, I overloaded my schedule with dates, and then I just Yeah, that was weird. That was bad. It didn't work out in my favor, of course.
SPEAKER_00You like openly talked about it, how you were like date maxing.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I was like, bro, and you you were talking about it, like it was like this noble thing. I'm gonna go on as many, I'm gonna find a girlfriend. I'm gonna go on as many dates as possible. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And I went on three with the same girl, and then she said, I talk about myself too much. So to your point of like how the dates go, apparently, you would be correct.
SPEAKER_00Wow, awesome. You should just bring me next time.
SPEAKER_04I don't think so.
SPEAKER_00I think you should. I you're putting getting knots in your hair.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Well, it's funny. I see why girls do this now. This is what they do when we're on the dates. They go, Oh, why don't you tell me more about yourself? You haven't stopped.
SPEAKER_00Like, I think I'm gonna go blonde. That looks so good with my skin tone.
SPEAKER_04You do you realize I don't even know hair dyeing at all? You would have to bleach your hair an ungodly amount to get to this level of blonde. Your hair would never really be this blonde.
SPEAKER_00Alex, you you can say that I'm actually a natural blonde and you're not. So why don't you start there? We can tell by your eyebrows. Yeah, fake ass bitch. I'm sorry. Alex, that's disgusting. Say, excuse me.
SPEAKER_04Excuse me, Alex. Okay. I'm like really getting hot in this thing.
SPEAKER_00You're like about to have a panic attack.
SPEAKER_04I'm like, my ass is sweaty. I I I have to fart. This poppy has been running.
SPEAKER_00Okay. I have to head back home before my happy trail grows back. If you know, you know. Talk to him.
SPEAKER_04So this is actually you bring up a good point here. Happy trails. Is that attractive on a guy?
SPEAKER_00I don't really care either way.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_00But if he gets stuck in my teeth, then I'm gonna care.
SPEAKER_04Why are you are you why am I stuck in on the belly button? Yeah, is that like because that's where the happy trail exists, right?
SPEAKER_00Well, below.
SPEAKER_04Well, then it's just pubes.
SPEAKER_00They're they are one and the same. No, happy trail. You're right. It's like the oceans. Those you know that picture of the two oceans where they collide and they're like a little bit different. So where does pubes start and happy trail begin?
SPEAKER_04I think it depends on the the ball and shaft ratio to the belly button ratio. Like there's a there's a distance there where it's like it starts to become a little more salt water instead of fresh water, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_00Like thicker?
SPEAKER_04Thicker. I think more, I was thinking more of like spread out pattern, if that makes sense.
SPEAKER_00I feel like mine are the same. And that's the worst. So you have cubes on your belly button is what you're saying. No, and are those the pants with the fucking hole in them?
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_00Have you been have you covered that up? Has this just been open?
SPEAKER_04I've been doing this for most of the pod.
SPEAKER_00Grace Alex. Seriously, Bill.
SPEAKER_04You said we're doing denim.
SPEAKER_00My last thing that I want to say about film, because I did say this to you, but I really do get fed so many PETA and Katniss edits, and I I cry.
SPEAKER_04Are you gonna see Sunrise on the Reaping?
SPEAKER_00What is that?
SPEAKER_04Are you serious?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, yes.
SPEAKER_04You gave me three answers, right?
SPEAKER_00No, sorry. No, I don't know what this is.
SPEAKER_04You don't know what Sunrise on the Reaping is?
SPEAKER_00Is Katniss in it?
SPEAKER_04No, it's Hamish's story. So, Suzanne Collins, who wrote the Hunger Games series, she wrote Sunrise on the Reaping, which is of Hamich's backstory, his games, and Flinchlow, do you think I was gonna hit you right there?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I did. Keep going.
SPEAKER_04What? Keep going, what?
SPEAKER_01Finish what you're saying.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. Um, so the it's about Hamish's games. The book did so well so quickly that I believe like Warner Brothers Studio picked up the movie adaptation, like literally like within the week that the book launched. That's how popular it was. The trailer just came out like two days ago. Oh, yeah. It's Hamich's backstory. Have you read it? No, but I I I've been wanting I was probably gonna do an audiobook.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, we should read it together because you know I love doing things together.
unknownFunk.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the have you seen the Pete and Cadness edits, though I ship them so hard. Nothing makes me feel the way that they make me feel.
SPEAKER_04What is the what's your favorite edit song? Like, you know, you know, like sometimes when the songs party for you, party for you. Really? I like those ones too. Yeah, no, me too.
SPEAKER_01What is what's your favorite?
SPEAKER_04Probably the party for you ones. Because it's always whenever I see those ones, I like the edits where it's like the people can never figure it out and they're like they like, for example, it's always like normal people. Yeah. That one's always that one always has. That gets you.
SPEAKER_00Party should I? Oh, party on you. Should I make one of us? Or I mean, should I secretly make one of us? And then launch it on Lexi Almorado.
SPEAKER_04I'm blocking Lexi Almorado or whatever the fuck her name is. I'm looking her up as soon as it's done. No. You probably don't follow her because that would be too suspicious.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, of course I don't follow her, psychopath.
SPEAKER_04Oh, sorry, I thought your mic cut out.
SPEAKER_01Uh, I hope it does.
SPEAKER_00I honestly hope it does. There's a smoke. And I just have to be so honest about that.
SPEAKER_04I've got wig head, I've got denim butt, we got swamp ass.
SPEAKER_00Swamp ass season is back. Okay, well, I guess um it's about to be summer in New York. Um, so do you have any tips for people that are experiencing maybe some people moved here and they're experiencing their first summer in New York now that you're a New Yorker?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So if you are new to New York and you are ready for summer, here's my advice for you. One, if you uh work a nine to five, quit. That too. If you work a nine to five and you commute in the morning and that shit's hot as fuck and you're sweaty, just walking to the subway, basketball shorts, t-shirt, Adam Sandler style, and bring your actual formal work attire and just in a book bag and then change when you get to the office.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. Swamp ass season is back. Yes. And it's better than ever. Yes. I I feel like uh the other day I was sitting there on the subway and I started to feel a little bit of swamp ass, and I I felt a happiness. Yeah. I was like, oh, it's I'd rather have swamp ass than than my ass be frozen.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's and you can always tell once the weather reaches 70 degrees minimum outside because you get on the subway and you're like, oh, it smells like squidward tentacles on here.
SPEAKER_00Also, what is that mysterious liquid that runs down the subway? It like, especially at the the Morgan stop that's there, it's like this like uh it's gooey copper, it's a copper, gooey liquid. And I know that water sometimes has a specific uh chemicals in it that make Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I mean, if if water has iron in it, it does usually have like a big thing. I thought you would have the answer to this. Yeah, no, it's it's because of like if you think about it, there's copper pipes in the ground and the water that's running through it, it slowly but surely picks up. I mean, the the pipes in New York are like literally 90 years old, hundred years old.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I've been drinking tap water since I got here.
SPEAKER_04Well, to be fair, like some of the some of the infrastructure that is beneath the city has been revamped, but um like a lot of it is just like old copper pipes that are just 80 years old, they're geriatric, they pick up all the water that runs through them. Or they sorry, they like chip off a little bit into the water, and it's just like iron-rich water, and then that leaks onto the ground and then it leaves that copperish tone is the actual answer. But what I'm gonna say jokingly is poop poopy poopy pee pee water. Yeah, it's poopy pee pee water. No, it is it is the um it's the water taken from everybody's desire in this city. You know when the city just like really knocks you down and you're like, fuck, I can't do it today. Yeah, and you're like, I really am not having a good day, and then somebody on the subway comes up to you and they start playing like that, or I was gonna say they start looking at your toes, or they play careless whisper very badly on like a saxophone, and you're like, God, get me out of here. I'm hungover, I can't do this today. That's the water that comes from that.
SPEAKER_00Okay, that makes so much sense. It's everybody's hopes and dreams. Yes. Okay.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I'm sweating bad.
SPEAKER_00Okay, you're you're fine. You don't even feel that sweaty.
SPEAKER_04Put your hand under my butt right now.
SPEAKER_00Do you No, that feels fine. Okay. I'm I can't believe I just did that. Ew. Like I'm disgusted with myself.
SPEAKER_04I'm warm.
SPEAKER_00Like Yeah, so am I.
SPEAKER_04Anyway.
SPEAKER_00All right. Well, um, that's amazing. Yeah, I'm I'm really excited um for summer. I think that one thing about being in New York, it's made me dress better. This isn't a good example, but but you all right, that's your mic forever. Um, but New York has made me think more intentionally about what I'm wearing.
SPEAKER_04I have to, I'm sweating. Keep going, I'm listening.
SPEAKER_00Except Bushwick. Bushwick, the better you look, the worse you look.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. The the better you appear, the more put together you appear, it's actually negative aura.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, 100%. Like I saw this girl, she was wearing Crocs with basketball shorts. She had like a nice blouse on, and uh I it was just like like business, business casual up top, and then like sporty, and then like five-year-old chic on her feet. She had a bunch of those little special gems people put on there. Yeah, and it's like fucking pepper pigs. Yeah, yeah. So it was, but I was like, go off.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So your advice for this summer is to dress better?
SPEAKER_00It's funny. Um no, my advice is like actually, there is something really beautiful about trying to piece together an outfit, like that's a little bit outside of your comfort zone. So I think my piece of advice is dress a little outside your comfort zone and own it. I think I notice like my one friend Isabella has really good style, and she'll wear like sometimes weird shit, but she owns it so hard. Like sometimes she dresses like a little doll, and then other times she dresses like a street rat. And I feel like she has this confidence when she's wearing the outfit that makes you go, oh, that's like extra cute because it's a little bit different, but the confidence is is amazing.
SPEAKER_04It's interesting that you singled out Isabella as somebody who you really like their style when she's literally wearing your jacket right now.
SPEAKER_00She's wearing She's wearing my clothes in this moment.
SPEAKER_04She's wearing your clothes. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00All right, well, thanks so much for watching. I'm Alex. I'm Alex. And this is Are We Flirting? Yeah, thanks. Bye.
