this week we talk about love island, 4th of July, getting your things back from your ex and the viral 30 part series of "my nightmare roommate"

SPEAKER_04

I was about to eat two full feet of sandwich before I got two full feet. Viewers. Viewers at home that always talk about our feet and send us DMs of our feet on the podcast being like, oh wow, great angle. All the time.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. Are you being serious?

SPEAKER_04

You'll notice my feet are out of camera and Sid is sitting on hers. Viewers at home, listeners.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, I didn't realize that that was happening.

SPEAKER_04

But I had two feet of chopped cheese, and thankfully Sid took half of that, so I did not have two full feet of sandwich.

SPEAKER_01

Just a foot and a half.

SPEAKER_04

Yes. What am I? Shaggy Rogers.

SPEAKER_01

Oh like Scooby. Wait, that's his last name. Rogers?

SPEAKER_04

His first name isn't Shaggy. It's uh I think it's like James. No. No, it's like uh it's like Norman or something like that. It's like a very it's like Eugene. I don't like that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Welcome back to another episode of Are We Flirting? My name is Sid. My name's Grace. You're so stupid. I hate when you do that.

SPEAKER_04

The viewers at home love it. Right, guys? Leave a comment down below if you like it. When I do that thing with my tongue. Listeners, hop over to that YouTube real quick.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my goodness. Are you on one today?

SPEAKER_04

Well, I'm all jacked up because I'm drinking Nespresso.

SPEAKER_01

Nespresso.

SPEAKER_04

Nespresso. When you have to go on a four-hour drive after filming a podcast at 7 p.m., Nespresso.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, are you driving there from here? Holy crap. Should I come with you?

SPEAKER_04

You certainly can.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, that's actually really funny.

SPEAKER_04

What would you do in in uh Lewisburg, Pennsylvania?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like actually.

SPEAKER_04

You could as long as you drop me off, you could take the car and drive around. I don't know what they offer in Lewisburg. Typically, I I stay pretty close to the hotel.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, wait, that's actually really Do you ever like go to a local bar and just like make friends?

SPEAKER_04

No. You and I are very different people.

SPEAKER_01

I would so be like making that a whole experience.

SPEAKER_04

Can I get it?

SPEAKER_01

You're also tired. I'd have a full day of work. I don't know what that is.

SPEAKER_04

It's the one thing I will do when I do so I started doing two days now a week, and what I'll do is I'll try and find like a there's like a local uh brewery that has pretty good food.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

I'll sit outside, weather permitting, just kind of enjoy a nice little meal to myself at like four-ish PM. So it's right before the dinner crowd gets there, but like none of my co-workers are there, thank goodness. JK, I love you guys. No, I don't, just JK, I do love you guys. They don't know about this.

SPEAKER_01

So that's good.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I love that for you, I guess. I am kind of jealous though that you get to drive because I don't remember what it's like to drive.

SPEAKER_04

It's funny you mention that. Driving now that I do it out of like a routine as opposed to I gotta fucking drive everywhere. Is that chopped cheese? That's a foot and a half of chopped cheese. Oh, now I'm fucking chunk.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, they should just call you fucking chopped unk.

SPEAKER_04

Cho with uh No, go ahead, take your time. You wanna give that one another go?

SPEAKER_01

No, I have no way to save myself.

SPEAKER_04

Five, six, seven, eight.

SPEAKER_01

Chopp ch Chop chunk. That's what you are, you fucking chop chunk. Fucking chunk, you fucking.

SPEAKER_04

The first one cut a little deeper, but that's okay.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. I'll have to cut all that out because that was embarrassing for me.

SPEAKER_04

No, I I think you should leave it in. Viewers at home will relate to that because they don't know what the fuck we're talking about. So yes, driving has become uh a nice little it's yeah I'll say this for the viewers at home, find yourself a nice little book, audiobook series, podcast series that you really enjoy. Um I have a four-hour drive. I basically tune out the entire four-hour drive and just listen to whatever it is I got going on in my little audiobook series. It's quite the lovely time.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I like that a lot. I usually just replay old voicemails for my ex.

unknown

Oh.

SPEAKER_01

Speaking of, if you're listening to this, can you answer my text message because I don't know what to do with your clothes?

SPEAKER_04

We know you're stalking Sid, but uh refuse to respond to her messages, and that's okay.

SPEAKER_01

The way that like I know he's actually not stalking, even a little bit, like totally very unconcerned. But if you are listening to this, like I just don't know if you want it back or not. It's like I think he has my acrylic paints though. And also a weighted jacket.

SPEAKER_04

A Colombian exchange of sorts. Yeah. He provides blankets, you provide maize and corn and horses. Nope. Horses came from Europe. I lied.

SPEAKER_01

But if we were Amish together, would do you think we would be friends?

SPEAKER_04

Probably. Horses also came from uh Asia, I lied.

SPEAKER_01

They came over from the uh Man who doesn't listen to anything I'm saying.

SPEAKER_04

Bearing straight.

SPEAKER_01

No, I think that would be our interaction on like an Amish farm. Like, do you think that I would be like, do you think that we would have a flirty relationship, or do you think that we would be like really good friends, or do you think you'd be like um kind of like PETA and Katniss type vibe where you're like secretly in love with me?

SPEAKER_04

I think what what I could see playing out is after I come home building a an entire barn, like a uh maybe like a sixty foot by eighty foot barn in a single day. Look it up, Amish do it all the time. Um I would come home, you would be you would live in one of the flats or cottages next to mine, and I would see you churning butter, and that would I would be like the way she's working that pole is doing something to me. And then I would I would I would excuse myself to my quarters, to my chambers in my hay bed in my my my twin-size hay bed, and I would lay down, lay my little poorly hair-cutted head down.

SPEAKER_01

Right now, basically what you're experiencing right now.

SPEAKER_04

Can you see that I fucked up my hair?

SPEAKER_01

I did notice that there was like a I thought you were trying to do a design.

SPEAKER_03

No, there's a single line right here.

SPEAKER_01

I I thought it's okay, because it's kind of in a decent spot where it looks like it could be like a callip. It's okay. Do you want me to help you do that?

SPEAKER_04

No, the the problem, the the reason why this happened is the the guard on the razor accidentally popped off and I just went right to the side of my fucking head like an idiot.

SPEAKER_01

So Well, so you're basically what you're saying is that in an alternative Amish universe, then you would be into it.

SPEAKER_04

Potentially, but that I think that's because I'm so in a deprived. Yeah, in a in an alternate Amish reality, I would be so secluded to um my reality of building barns in a single day. Look it up, it's real. The Amish do it all the time. I'm serious. Fucking look it up. Um that if I were to see a woman doing anything, wearing anything other than um like gray or blue or a shade of either or I would be thrown for a loop.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I like that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. You remember the first time you like did anything that was related to like nicotine, you got like that weird head high?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

That's how I would feel if I was in the general presence of a woman as an Amish man.

SPEAKER_01

I need a cigarette. Grayson, what are you flirting with this week?

SPEAKER_04

Sid, I'm so glad you asked. I am flirting with a couple things. I'm flirting with the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. I am flirting well, t I'm flirting with book six specifically, the Eye of the Bedlam Bride in uh the audiobook series of Carl Dungeon Crawler Carl. It's also paperback if you want. Um I prefer audiobooks because, like I said, I drive four hours at a uh eight hours every week. So I've been cooking through those. Another thing, brick. Bricking your phone.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yes.

SPEAKER_04

I am flirting with that. I started that today. It has been lovely.

SPEAKER_01

I know, it's really nice.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I got actually a decent amount of work done when I worked from home. Usually I'm super distracted. I also cleaned a lot of my apartment today because I couldn't get into my damn apps. Gosh dang it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

This isn't an ad either.

SPEAKER_04

You actually no, this is not an ad. This is a a genuine I bricked I bricked my phone. I was bricked up all day. And surprisingly, I got a lot of stuff done. Sid, what are you flirting with this week?

SPEAKER_01

Huh. Where am I? What am I flirting with this week? Okay, this week I'm flirting with Kite Fest, which is on Saturday. Come and check out.

SPEAKER_04

Check it out. There may or may not be 200 people going. There may or may not be a bunch of fucking people going. And somebody might be bringing uh a bunch of kites. So that's it.

SPEAKER_01

That was the cutest message I got from you.

SPEAKER_04

Well, Sid just ruined the surprise, but Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_01

I'll well no what?

SPEAKER_04

Well, by the time this comes out, it's not gonna Oh no, it's coming out tomorrow.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, other things I'm flirting with. Um, I just got an easel painting on an easel.

SPEAKER_04

Ooh, uh what kind of painting are you gonna be doing with said easel?

SPEAKER_01

So it's really hard for me to paint on the floor, but I really I love painting hands. So I'm gonna paint I know that sounds weird. I'll show you a picture later. Okay. But I I just think they're like so beautiful, and and so I just want to get back into back into painting.

SPEAKER_04

No two are the same, they say about hands.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's what they do say. They do, huh? Um funky jewelry. Uh cooking romantic dinners for myself. Solo dates, period.

SPEAKER_04

Ooh, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Karaoke and the color blue.

SPEAKER_04

Took a left turn down. Depressing there for a second, but I do like the karaoke and the color blue. Now, when you say the color blue, Sid, what is the blue in your mind that you're actually talking to, talking about? Because I'm picturing a blue, but I guarantee you it's not the blue you're describing.

SPEAKER_01

I am flirting sort of with all blues right now, all shades of blue and multi-layered blue. I know you don't like that. I know that there's like something weird where you like to be super specific about the blue. Okay, do you see that blue on my shirt over there? Like that deep blue?

SPEAKER_04

The clean clothes pile or the dirty clothes pile or the medium clothes pile.

SPEAKER_01

The clean clothes pile. Okay, no, come here. Do you see that tank tat that is multicolored? It's like blue and greens. Yes. Yeah, like that. Like those blues. Oh my gosh, just I'm really in a blue phase right now. Gotcha.

SPEAKER_04

I'm blue. Things I should be blam-da.

SPEAKER_01

Things I should be flirting with an iron.

SPEAKER_04

Things she also should be flirting with organizational skills.

SPEAKER_01

Things I should be flirting with, no contact. Anyway, so those are things that I'm flirting with and should be flirting with.

SPEAKER_04

That that was a good one. That made me chuckle. That was a good hearty little belly chuckle at it.

SPEAKER_01

I really appreciate that.

SPEAKER_04

Um, real quick, top three karaoke songs go.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Um, What's Up by four non blondes. Okay. Hey, yeah, yeah, yeah. That one. Um uh any Amy Weinhall song.

SPEAKER_04

Fair.

SPEAKER_01

And um, I like to throw in an OG high school musical song.

SPEAKER_04

Excellent. Do you so then is that a solo high school musical song, or are you singing with somebody?

SPEAKER_01

No, with somebody. I was actually singing Start of Something New the other morning, and it was really Without Me? Uh, you weren't there and I was upset.

SPEAKER_04

Um You know I'm Troy Bolton. That's my range.

SPEAKER_01

Can actually, you're I feel like you're even a little bit higher than him.

SPEAKER_04

I can get up there.

SPEAKER_00

It's Start of Something New.

SPEAKER_06

It feels so right to be here with you.

SPEAKER_01

Uh wait, there's like something about our voices that actually sounds kind of complimentary, even though like I was a little off key.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's called narcissism. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No, they uh sound kind of good together. So anyway, the um 4th of July just happened, and I am devastated that Grayson couldn't make it because it was so much freaking fun.

SPEAKER_04

Tell me about it.

SPEAKER_01

We had the most special time, everybody just like loved everyone always. Group orgy at the end, obviously. Of course. It was so cute. I had glow sticks for everybody. I had face paint, which we didn't use because I got too drunk, and then we all were on the roof and like had a 360 view of the whole city, and it was so special. Everybody was like giggling, having so much fun. Then we did karaoke for like two hours. I am covered in bruises on my knees. My friends were like, every song, it didn't matter what it was, you were like crawling on the ground, and I was just like gr like grinding. It was amazing. I'm actually like I'm bruised up everywhere. Do you see ever here? I do see that bruise. I think I like slammed into my staircase. Um, however, I had a little bit too much fun. If you know what I mean.

SPEAKER_04

I do. I took in there.

SPEAKER_01

I took a baby animal. Uh-oh. And I should never ever do that when I'm drinking, and I got the spin so bad. I came up to my room and I was like, I'm gonna be sick. There was somebody in the bathroom, so I decided to throw up in the closest thing that I could grab, which was a purple Christmas stocking, and I threw up inside of it inside my room. Okay, and then I left it on the roof for 24 hours.

SPEAKER_04

Nice. Well, that's fun. If you had to award a a reward, award um somebody at your party with the Life of the Party award, who would it be?

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, Lauren Cantrell.

SPEAKER_04

Really?

SPEAKER_01

She was so funny, and like everybody afterwards was like, Who is that girl? And it was so cute.

SPEAKER_04

Who's that girl?

SPEAKER_01

It's Lauren.

SPEAKER_04

It's Lauren.

SPEAKER_01

She was so funny, and and she was killing in a karaoke. Like, she was one of the first people to get on it. Because I feel like it karaoke can so easily become so cringy. Yes. And it was actually like people were doing full performances and it was so cute.

SPEAKER_04

What did she sing?

SPEAKER_01

She sang um, uh, like, oh my god, what the hell was it?

SPEAKER_06

Nobody knows it. Oh.

SPEAKER_01

I think there's that one.

SPEAKER_04

It uh If I could escape. Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Um that old banger.

SPEAKER_04

That's fun. That's great, because we know she doesn't listen to this. We've actually t had this conversation with her. Um she's never gonna hear that.

SPEAKER_01

We're gonna be working on a little film project with her. Which is gonna be tuned. We're I think we're weaving a couple in it.

SPEAKER_04

For everybody that ships me and Sid, you guys are gonna eat this up.

SPEAKER_01

For people that don't ship us, you're gonna be able to do that.

SPEAKER_04

You're still gonna eat it up because of our acting skills. You're gonna be like, you know what? I can I can see it.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think Grace and I a while back got asked to do a tape together. And do you think if we got that tape now, you would do it?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, probably.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that makes me really upset that we missed that opportunity.

SPEAKER_04

Well, opportunity, it was just us having sex on camera.

SPEAKER_01

On a counter.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. But the good news is is there will always be another opportunity to have sex on a counter on camera.

SPEAKER_01

That's so true.

SPEAKER_04

Join us for the Patreon.

SPEAKER_01

Um, yeah, so I'm like, do you think that you'll be able to act like you're in a in a relationship with me?

SPEAKER_04

I think, and I don't want to sound pretentious, but I do think having two improv classes under my belt and having several classes of fur acting under my belt now, I do feel a little bit more confident of being like, I can be, I can make something seem somewhat realistic.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Well, this will this will be fun. Because it it's hard for you to even act like you care about me sometimes.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so then if I'm that's what I'm being on camera, then I don't really have to act. I've been method acting my entire life around you.

SPEAKER_01

I went to my first Yankees game.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, how was that? Oh, yeah, tell me about that.

SPEAKER_01

That was so fun. We had like a little club C box, it was with Bumble. Um, it was with Bumble. I just got invited as a plus one.

SPEAKER_03

Hey, that's okay.

SPEAKER_01

But it was so much fun. The um the girls there were so cute. We just had such a good time and there were so many snacks. Oh, it's raining out there. It's kind of it's probably so dark on this camera now.

SPEAKER_04

I was actually just thinking that's it's totally fine.

SPEAKER_01

Um, I was gonna say there was uh Welcome to the Dark Side.

SPEAKER_04

You have you have now entered the dark zone that we me and Sid are now gonna start to really represent the internal mood amongst us, me and Sid, uh, we're gonna start filming in the dark.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

It's gonna be like uh uh dark darkness therapy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's a thing, you know, where they lock themselves in in a dark cave for like 24 to 48 to like a week period, and people just start seeing shit and they kind of go a little bit crazy.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no, this is exactly why that we're doing this for you, the audience members, to give you something a bit more vibrant, uh oxymoronic there, uh unintentionally.

SPEAKER_01

Did you make that word up?

SPEAKER_04

Oxymoronic?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. No, it is it's oh it was oxymoron, but oxymoronic.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's that's real descriptive, like it's like of the nature of being an oxymoron.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I get what it means, I just didn't know if it was a real word.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no, it's uh you can look it up.

SPEAKER_01

Grace and I are excited to announce we're going on a trip together.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yes, we are. Sid, you want to tell him about that?

SPEAKER_01

We're going to Portugal.

SPEAKER_04

Portugal to Lisbian.

SPEAKER_01

I actually about that just felt like not okay. Yeah. Um, I have dyslexia co so I keep calling it Libsen.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, that's okay. We have a group chat with several of us. Lisbians. We call it Lisbians.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's gonna be great. So there's six of us going. It's gonna be a really good time. I'm so excited because we've hung out the last time we hung out together, we had such a like a blast of a time, and now we're all gonna be in this little group together. It's so special.

SPEAKER_04

I've seen people they go with like a group of ten to twelve and they like rent out an entire villa, or it's like a whole facility.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, that's actually really funny.

SPEAKER_04

It would be fun to do, I think, to have like a large group of people go. We all don't have to do the same thing.

SPEAKER_01

I'm so excited. I've never I've never been. You haven't either.

SPEAKER_04

I've only been uh to Europe once and I did it last year. I'm going to be making a Amsterdam. I went to Amsterdam. Uh it is now my intention that moving forward, uh, every October I'm gonna be taking a trip that I have to fly overseas for. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, cute. Can we make a YouTube video?

SPEAKER_04

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

You can't say stuff like that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you can work to Oh the IRS is gonna Does anyone from the IRS listen to this podcast? Oh, the IRS is gonna get mad at us for what everybody already does?

SPEAKER_01

I'm so scared of the IRS because I feel like they've been in my house so many times.

SPEAKER_04

Well, you already have a warrant out for your arrest, so like come on.

SPEAKER_01

I know. I gotta follow up with my probation officer about that.

SPEAKER_04

Your PO? Yeah. Your PU more like garlic aioli.

SPEAKER_01

I literally uh you actually smell like garlic aioli. I drink mouthwash. Don't do that. Why are you on the mic?

SPEAKER_04

People are you learning Portuguese? Yeah. Guten Tag.

SPEAKER_01

I just learned oi means hi.

SPEAKER_04

Oi. Oi, oi. Oi.

SPEAKER_01

I like when people say I like when men say oi when they're watching um World Cup games.

SPEAKER_04

Who do you know that does that? Join us next week. Alright.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, find out next week. So we wanted to do a series where every guest has had to make out with the mo the last guest.

SPEAKER_04

Or one of the hosts.

SPEAKER_01

Or one of the hosts. So hopefully it's this is gonna, I guess we have time to make it happen before we're gonna do it.

SPEAKER_04

We do have time.

SPEAKER_01

Um we thought this would be so much easier.

SPEAKER_04

If you want to come on the pod, puck her up. Yeah. You gotta kiss one of these two munchkins. Yeah. Munchkin. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I like that. Um wait, did you hear about that that girl, um, EK, that like posted a 30-part series about her roommate, who it's her nightmare roommate, who basically it's just like a girl that subleased this apartment to this girl, EK, and then she couldn't get um then she was like, Hey, I actually want to find a new roommate, and then it became this like insane 30-part series, and she started to go fund me.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, she like sat out on her fire escape and she was like crying and she was like, guys, I can't afford to pay my rent, and now my uh my roommate's kicking me out, and she's like, I I don't know what I'm gonna do. Whole time, homie, she's like chasing the dream, and it's just like she's selling little chotch keys on Etsy. She's selling refusing to get a job.

SPEAKER_01

Little cats that you like rub like cat stones or something, and it's really so the I've been following it intently because it's so insane. And I'm like, if there's one thing this girl knows how to do, it's use social media though.

SPEAKER_04

I will say we're talking about it.

SPEAKER_01

That's what's up, that's what's up, that's what's up. But she um she started a gofundme and then she decided so like it's insane to start a GoFundMe just to live in New York. Like everybody sort of it's kind of like, hey, this is just like how complicated and tricky it is to live in New York, period. Like it's expensive, and if you can't pay to, you know, like put money down on it, like a down payment for a place and one month's rent or whatever it is, like you probably shouldn't live here. But a lot of people, I mean, I'm fo I'm subleasing, so it doesn't even, whatever. I get it, girl. But starting a GoFundMe is insane, and basically what she decided to do was she was like, Hey, so a lot of people donated, so I'm actually gonna take this money and and pay some my rent and then also donate it to another cause. And people are like, I didn't sign up for that. Like, give me my money back. The whole thing is so insane, and yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I think it's fun that the roommate also made a video in response to the 400 million videos that the fire escape girl made, and she was just like, Yeah, she just is not like a good roommate.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. I oh my god. I think I think this is the trick, people. If you really want to like uh go viral on social media, just get into an a viral drama with somebody. Should we just start one with each other? It might be bad for business, but we could just be like, this is my experience like with Grayson.

SPEAKER_04

I got a whole lot of dirt on this one. Let me try to.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say, I have so much dirt on you.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, yeah, name five things.

SPEAKER_01

Next topic. Have you been watching Love is Blind? No, I haven't Love Island.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I was gonna say you wrote it down as Love is Blind, but it is Love Island. I knew it's a lot of it.

SPEAKER_01

It's all the same. Anyway, I'm like weirdly super fascinated with it now. I kind of need you to watch it for just like the the sociology of it all.

SPEAKER_04

Well, I've been keeping up. I keep seeing all the clips on TikTok. What's your what's your take with Love Island? I've Who do you like, who do you not like?

SPEAKER_01

I kind of find the whole thing to be insufferable, but I really do l love it as background noise when I'm doing other things. Um like tonight I'm gonna probably chew an edible, and then I'm probably gonna make a dinner, make a dinner, and then have that on in the background, and um yeah, it's gonna be really like stupid and and nice to listen to. But it's um everybody on there is just like I I can't explain it. I feel like there is never anybody on there that I'm like, I connect with that person.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I know that Bryce and Trinity are like the two people that uh people will kind of like watching the most, um, as far as like they want them to succeed and they will probably be voted the best couple unless the producers of Love Island somehow force them to like separate, which Which I'm sure they will do at some point for viewership and ratings. And then at the very end, they're gonna have them get back together and it's gonna be like, uh calling it now. Um no, I though I did watch a video the other day which I think is super relevant about how Love Island is just a demonstration that there's like a true literacy crisis. Absolutely because like everybody, everybody is misusing like words appropriately, they're not they're using incorrect grammar, they're like pronounce the enunciation of words is not correct.

SPEAKER_01

Filler words is crazy. Yeah. It's so nuts. That's one of my biggest peppes, and I do it too.

SPEAKER_04

Like Shout out to Icepice and Tommy McGuire. They're dating. Spider Man I just started poopy poopy girl. What did she say? Uh you think you're the shit, bitch, I'm the fart?

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah. That's it.

SPEAKER_04

Oh no, uh you think you're the shit, bitch, you're not even the fart. Oh, I I really said Spongebob Big Guy uh SpongeBob SpongeBob big guy pants okay. And collected a check. And I respect that. And now she's dating Spider-Man.

SPEAKER_01

Spider-Man three is coming out in a few months. I'm really excited about that. The Odyssey is coming out in a few months too, I think. Sense and Sensibility, which I'm really excited about.

SPEAKER_04

Spider Man 4. Spider-Man 4.

SPEAKER_01

Spider-Man 4, what's it what did I say?

SPEAKER_04

Spider-Man 3. No, I think Spider-Man Homecoming. Spider-Man No Way Home.

SPEAKER_00

Spider-Man uh Spider-Man Way, Spider-Man way, Spider-Man.

SPEAKER_04

And then Spider-Man 4. I don't know what Spider-Man 4 is called, but yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I don't remember. But anyway, I'm so excited about it. Did you hear about the woman moving to Afghanistan to be with her husband?

SPEAKER_04

No, I must have missed this. This is another Was this in the paper?

SPEAKER_01

I've been going down these like weird, like 30-part series rabbit holes. But she is somebody who is moving to Afghanistan to be with her like boyfriend or husband or something like fiance. How they mean and I think online.

SPEAKER_04

No.

SPEAKER_01

No, and he he can't move here. So she's moving there, and people are like, girl, no.

SPEAKER_04

He can't move here. Why? Because of Visa. Oh.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Gotcha.

SPEAKER_01

So the things we do for love.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no, I'm very excited to see how this turns out and when it eventually turns into like a 30 for 30 or a 60 minutes or maybe a documentary on Netflix, perchance. I'm a little bit scared. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Hmm. USA like I'm like talking like a newscast. I don't even know. Oh, wait, have you you weren't here for Taylor Swift's wedding. No. I went. It was like fine. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

What was the what was the general vibe when you were doing it?

SPEAKER_01

I feel like everybody was. It was really cool that Adam Sandler was officiating. But other than that, it was like a really it was really chill. Um I saw a lot of people that I've been like kind of avoiding.

SPEAKER_04

Who was at the uh who was at your dinner table?

SPEAKER_01

Okay, at my dinner table, Toby Maguire. Weird. Oh wow, weirdly enough. Tom Holland, Adam Scott. Wow. Sendayo wasn't there. Which is weird.

SPEAKER_04

Busy with the Odyssey, I think.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Tom Holland.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, isn't Tom Holland in the Odyssey too?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, but he Tom Hollandberger hold the spiders. He is he is busy. He the reason why he was in New York, the reason why he made it was because he was promoting his movie Spider-Man, the new one, Spider-Man 4. Um same thing with um Toby McGuire. That's why he was able to make it as well. But Zendaya, she's not. She wasn't.

SPEAKER_01

She was Who was at your table?

SPEAKER_04

Well, I didn't go. I didn't get an invite. This was a point of contention between us because you were like, I got a plus one, who do I bring? And I was like, you know I love Swifty, you know I love Tay Tay.

SPEAKER_01

And I brought Xander. Yeah, and you brought Xander, which was a guest from a previous episode, go check it out.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, and you'll have to figure out who he's made out with. That's part of the fun.

SPEAKER_01

The food though was really good. It was it was very much like um seafood buffet style. Okay. The mac and cheese bar was gross. And but other than that, like the music was fine. It was kind of weird too. They only played her music, which like I kind of expected that a little bit, but not for the whole time.

SPEAKER_04

And it's it's is it true that she walked down the aisle to her own song?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And they when we left, I was like kind of expecting like a more glamorous party favor, but they just did labu-boos.

SPEAKER_04

Oh. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So this is Which is annoying because that's what she did for her 30th, too.

SPEAKER_04

And it's clear that, like, okay, they were planning this a while ago, and they didn't bother to like go over it again before, like, you know. Because like Labooo Boos, they you could tell they started planning this like what, like a year ago, and they're like, Oh, this is it, people are gonna love this. And then now it's like When's the last time you saw Laboo Boo besides a Taylor Swiss wedding?

SPEAKER_01

No, fast fashion. Yeah. So anyway, allegedly, I'm gonna have to say that. It's unfortunate. All of this is alleged. Right.

SPEAKER_04

So And I wouldn't know because I did I wasn't your plus one, which is unfortunate.

SPEAKER_01

Next next time. Would you ever bring me as a plus one to a wedding?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know anyone getting married?

SPEAKER_04

I do not.

SPEAKER_01

Me neither. It seems like there's less and less weddings every day.

SPEAKER_04

I did recently. Shout out to my friend. You'll know who you are. Um my friend went upstate for the fourth, and she I I forget what I texted her, um, but it's been a while since we've seen each other. And she she was like, Yeah, my friends just got engaged. And I was like, Oh, do you need a plus one for the wedding? No response. I was like, Wow.

SPEAKER_01

Is this a close friend?

SPEAKER_04

You've met her.

unknown

Who?

SPEAKER_04

We'll talk after.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. Is it a girl you like?

SPEAKER_04

No. I mean, well, we're friends, like we're we're good friends.

SPEAKER_01

Um, nothing yet. I just keep checking my text. Um, okay. Um oh, like I put I put random shit. Prague helmet bar.

SPEAKER_04

Prague helmet bar. What is that?

SPEAKER_01

It's a bar where you put on a helmet and then they hit you with a bat and you're like trying to get it.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, I've seen this, yeah. This is what I believe they called uh rushing CTE.

SPEAKER_01

Hmm. Did you just come up with that?

SPEAKER_04

I did.

SPEAKER_00

That's good.

SPEAKER_04

I did for the what you guys don't know, me and Sid are doing a table exchange of sorts where I'm taking her coffee table, she's taking my coffee table, so I'm not gonna have a product. Mine is mine is big. It my thing is big, it's huge. Sid craves it, she wanted it, she saw it at one point.

SPEAKER_01

Why are you talking like that?

SPEAKER_04

Whoa, what? You see, you like the coffee table.

SPEAKER_01

You're literally, you know what you're doing. Can you do a Donald Trump impression?

SPEAKER_05

Sid like the coffee table. No, keep going. I said, my coffee table's bigger than yours. And Sid said, she said, I would love that. I would love it if you gave me a coffee table. Now do it, Schmidt.

SPEAKER_04

And I had to walk up the stairs with this entire coffee table, which is actually crazy. Um What is up with you and this and the flies?

SPEAKER_01

There's I think there was bananas downstairs that went bad as well.

SPEAKER_04

Holy cow, fruit flies. As soon as I get in here, I feel like I'm playing uh what is it, Fruit Ninja, where you're just like trying to get it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I know. It's pretty bad in here. It feels like we're inside of a garbage can.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, well, it looks like the inside of a garbage can.

SPEAKER_01

Inside a garbage can on a freaking 98-degree summer day in the middle of Central Park. Central Park, you know, Central Park garbage can with a bunch of exp with a bunch of bad fruit.

SPEAKER_04

I wish we had a 360-degree camera it right here because you would be able to see the the laundromat explosion of clothes that is in Sid's room right now. It's just littered all over the place.

SPEAKER_01

You know, I was just thinking about clothes. I'm gonna get rid of a bunch of clothes. My friends and are doing a flea market thing. You can you should no, I don't never mind.

SPEAKER_04

I don't really have a ton of clothes to get.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say I want it to be clothes that people will actually wear. But um, what we're gonna do is we're gonna have a flea market with all of our clothes.

SPEAKER_04

Let's backtrack a little bit there for a second. You said clothes that people are actually gonna wear.

SPEAKER_01

I've learned something recently. You don't need more clothes, you just need more cool jewelry. And this is the thing about jewelry. You can wear jewelry a bunch of times, no one's really gonna call you out on it, but you wear the same shirt, people like you wore the No, well guess what? You just have your basics, you have your simples, you wear cool jewelry. This is for the ladies. Obviously, for you it doesn't really make a difference. You can wear the same thing every day, no one cares.

SPEAKER_04

And who told you about this secret of jewelry? It wasn't some guy that was like, Hey, I have rings of shitty quality. Would you like one?

SPEAKER_01

No, I got some cool Etsy jewelry. I'm really excited for it. I actually got it for Portugal, which is not super.

SPEAKER_04

Alright, well, you got some time.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so this is our next segment that I've been wanting to do for a while. Um, but it's where we do um we make sounds of kitchen appliances, and you have to guess which one of them.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, go ahead.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so right now Grace and I are gonna make kitchen appliance sounds to wrap out the episode, and he has to guess which one it is. Close your eyes.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, what was that?

unknown

You might do it again.

SPEAKER_04

So I can only imagine that you have just grabbed a chicken from your coop and you are about to decapitate it because you are hoping to have some chicken wings for the night.

SPEAKER_01

It was a toaster. I put toast in the toaster and then I buttered it, and then I ate it. Okay, your turn. I'll close my eyes.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Oh, sorry, my turn.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so that's why they call me the king.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, wait, I'm gonna do one more.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Listeners, we're sorry.

SPEAKER_01

It's been a long day. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Oh my goodness. So you just you reheated some KFC.

SPEAKER_01

What is with you and chicken? Are you hungry still?

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna put in a half of chopped cheese. It was lasagna that I was reheating. Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_04

Garfield ass? Damn, orange ass, cat ass looking ass? Dude, oh my god, Garfield ass. I feel like John right now, ass looking ass. Cat ass.

SPEAKER_01

Listeners. And you guys can guess as well. Or you can turn it off. It's up to you.

SPEAKER_04

It's up to you. Um okay, yeah, I got it, I got it.

SPEAKER_02

I got it.

SPEAKER_01

No. Is it a cat?

SPEAKER_04

No.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

What is it?

SPEAKER_04

I was opening a can of beans and I s I slopped the beans out onto a plate.

SPEAKER_01

That was the That's not a kitchen appliance.

SPEAKER_04

Can't open her.

SPEAKER_01

Oh.

unknown

Shit. God damn it.

SPEAKER_04

God damn it.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, guys, that was a lot of fun. It was hard. Everybody else bricked up. Grayson, what is your favorite karaoke song to sing? And how is your fourth of July? I don't sing karaoke, but thank you for asking.

SPEAKER_04

I'm just kidding. No, unfortunately, I uh here's the thing.

SPEAKER_00

I grew up in a small town, and when the rain will fall down, I just stare at my window. Wouldn't you belong here, but something felt so wrong here. Uh learn how to fly.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that was beautiful. Something to take. We should just do an episode where we just do karaoke. That'll be so enjoyable for only us.

SPEAKER_04

Wait a minute. We'd we'd look at our we look at our our accounts the next day. Wait a minute. When did we get a million followers? Wait a minute. When did we get a million subscribers? Oh, all we had to do was sing and then people wanted us?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Leave your favorite comment about favorite comments, guys.

SPEAKER_01

Guys, drop your drop your karaoke, your go-to karaoke song.

SPEAKER_04

Here's what I'll sing.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you never even told us. Sorry.

SPEAKER_04

So unfortunately, I I love to sing a country karaoke song. I'm a big fan of that. Um, drinking problem is always a fun one because usually you do karaoke, everybody's drinking, usually everyone's drunk. So that's a fun one. If people know it, especially because it is about drinking. And you can go around, you can like surprising. Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, said Isaac Newton when he discovered gravity. Uh Give It to Me Baby by Rick James. Or Love by Keisha Cole.

SPEAKER_06

I used to think that I wasn't fine enough. And I used to think that I wasn't wild enough. Wait, like you look, I hate that you can actually say my time trying to figure out who are you always talking about.

SPEAKER_04

But the words are on the screen and I would know.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. But I can't believe you heard me. Yo, girl, what a difference. What you see in her, you ain't seeing me, but I guess it was all just make believe. Oh.

SPEAKER_03

And this is where it's like, uh that part I can't, that part I can't really belt, but wait, that was like that's outside of my range.

SPEAKER_01

I I like how long that was. I'm just gonna cut that part.

SPEAKER_03

I heard that actually apart.

SPEAKER_01

No one's ever said this, yeah. It's a big table. Has anyone ever told number?

SPEAKER_04

No, not ever, actually, not even once.

SPEAKER_01

I love that we're at that level where I don't even have to say the thing.

SPEAKER_04

We finished each other's penises. Um so my 4th of July was good.

SPEAKER_02

Good.

SPEAKER_04

My 4th of July was good. I was hanging out with my friends. Um, one of my friends has a shore house in the on the Jersey shore. Uh Mac, you've met shout out to Mac, Mac Count. Um, and we I was there with uh several of my friends from Philly. We had a good time. We honestly we just watched the World Cup. We went to the beach, we played cards, uh, we drank, we also took some edibles. Um then yeah, it was a great time.

SPEAKER_00

Fine.

SPEAKER_04

I came home early because Sid was like, All right, we have to record on this Sunday. And I was like, perfect.

SPEAKER_01

I said that before you left.

SPEAKER_04

I'll cut my trip short. And I did.

SPEAKER_01

I was down but I threw up in that Christmas stocking, remember?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Tell you what, you're getting coal this year.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know what's funny is that there was actually coal in that Christmas stocking? The candy coal at the bottom.

SPEAKER_04

There's candy coal.

SPEAKER_01

It's a big table. Thanks everybody. Thanks so much for listening. I'm Sid.

SPEAKER_04

I'm Grayson.

SPEAKER_01

And this is Ari Flirting. I'll see you on Saturday at 3 p.m.

SPEAKER_04
