Can you guess how much Jack Nicholas, one of the greatest golfers of all time, arguably, definitely top two, career earnings were? And is this adjusted for inflation or everything that he earned? True earnings. I'll say because I know it's a lot less, but he played for a long time. I'm gonna go like 20 million. We'll have whatever. This is this is how far the game has grown in such a short time. The arguably, definitely top two greatest golfer of all time made five point three million dollars career earnings. Wow. I'm actually kind of disappointed I was that far off. Isn't that crazy? I mean, I I get it. It was totally different back then, and it shows truly the effect of Tiger and into the 2000s and how much it's grown. But that is still so crazy. Yeah, I should have known. I remember we were just talking about this a couple weeks ago about the m the Masters win. I think when he the last time he won, it was the grand prize was like 115,000. And like now it's like 4.3 million or something. So that's that's that's a the huge difference. Yes. I mean, can you believe it? Like just on a signature event, they almost take home the entire career earnings of Jack Nicholas. That's insane. That's unbelievable. A local municipal golf course says it's been overrun by what some are calling quote hack golfers. Has the game grown too much? Do we need more scratch golfers? I'm telling you, hack slow the game down. You can't grow golf if people are chunking it into the weeds all day. Scratch players? Hey everybody, it's Des and welcome back to the Hack and Scratch podcast, episode number 19. Congratulations and welcome to the official start to Masters Requests season, but also my condolences because it means it's also the start of Masters rejection season. The Masters 2027 has opened up for applications. Make sure you guys go get yours in to attend next year's Masters, albeit probably not going to get those tickets. Yep. I haven't submitted mine yet. Do you think there's anything to the day you submit versus now or like the 28th on the last day or something like that? I've tried, I mean, I think people have tried everything at this point. We've we've talked about the conspiracy theories of how it's already predetermined, anyways, but and your your say fate is already sealed. But no, I don't think so, if I'm being honest. I I don't think so. There's only a 20-went day window. I think if it was like spread across like three months, I think maybe it would matter and you'd get it in early. But 20 days is a pretty short window. I'd say it doesn't matter. Yeah. What days did you go for? All of them. But I decided to try a different strategy this year. I went from my normal four tickets for everything uh down to two tickets. So I went two tickets even on the practice rounds. So we'll see. Great. And who is the other person you're gonna be taking? I'm looking at them right here. All right, that's what we like to hear. Perfect. For the content. For the content. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. Nice. Well, we have some news to catch up on. We had quite a finish, honestly, to Sunday. I I told myself I'm like, I'm not gonna watch probably that much of it this week, and ended up watching a ton of it on Sunday. Unbelievable how Russell Henley stole it. And you gotta feel for Eric Cole. I made the comment to you. I mean, he he does just look so young. But then to find out he is, what do you say, 37? Yeah. Yeah. 37. That's that's not even compute with me, but that makes it maybe even more painful that he's just again so, so close to career number one win. But Russell, man, the dog. I mean, to close with four straight birdies, unbelievable. Yeah, and a lot of the comments that I saw on social media were Eric Cole didn't lose the tournament, Russell Henley won it, which I think is a good way to put it because it just he just went on a birdie streak on the pack nine. And it's on this type of course, it's you you can't really do anything about that. That's that classic thing where you're playing the best round of your life, but somebody is just having a better day, you know? It just, it's just how it goes. And not saying Eric Cole had it the best round of his life, but I was super impressed. He kept his cool the entire time. He had some bad shots that he recovered really well from. Really well. But I was disappointed. I really wanted him to get that first win. We'll we'll talk about him in another week, but he's got a really interesting story. He's only been on tour for a couple years, spent a long time on the minor league golf tour in Florida. He's got he comes from a golfing family. And, you know, I think we kind of overlook kind of how important these runner-up finishes are as well uh for make giving you a longer career uh on the tour. So I'm hoping that this is not the last shot that he has. Yeah, I I hope I hope so too. He de I think that's definitely right. He didn't he didn't lose it. Um Russell Henley won it. Speaking of a person who tried to win it in the last second, Ben Griffin tried to defend his title out of nowhere, shot a last round 65 to just fall one short of a playoff, which is incredible. I think he finished maybe an hour and a half before the final group finished, which it's just so crazy you'd have to, he's probably waiting around the whole time, just waiting, seeing if he could get into a playoff. Would have been a crazy three-way playoff if that had happened. But yeah. Yeah, that would have been really cool. I also just for like historical purposes, you know, Ben Hogan is the only other person to win back to back. And I would love for another Ben to win it. I just back to back, I think that would be so cool. So didn't didn't happen, but uh just some great golf from all of these guys who have been playing well all year but are right there in the mix. Eric Hole, uh Ben Griffin, Alex Smalley, like all of them were right there. And it's just kind of refreshing to see. And I hope we see them knocking on the door with with Scotty and the others next week. So we'll see. Yeah. Incredible. The PGA Tour had uh quite a few changes to announce this week. Um, and I was actually pretty surprised by the news about the Century being moved to Tory and Farmers Insurance, which seemingly I feel like is such a big sponsor bowing out. Yeah, I was pretty surprised at that as well. I have to imagine the way that it went was hey, Century has a lot of money that they want to still put toward a golf tournament. We're not doing it in Hawaii anymore. What other coastal town works? ATT already has the program, and farmers was probably just on the list there. And I mean, Tiger has won the farmers at Tory Pines like years ago. So this has been a long running tournament. So I am surprised it's going away. That said, it's going to be a much more competitive tournament, right? Because the century is the tournament of champions, everybody who's won the past season, right? So gonna be some some more competitive golf at Tory next year. Sure. I I can't wait. I I love that. It's the most local kind of big tournament to me down here. Um so I I love that. Uh probably gonna try to go next year. Let's do it. Nice. We did have a live event this week. So I know it's been off and on. Uh they had another one in Busan, Korea. Unbelievable unbelievably, Jocko Joaquin Neiman pulls off another victory this season. He is on an absolute tear. Yeah, he has the most wins, I think, on Live outright, right? Oh, like forever? I don't maybe. Yeah. That's it. I think so. Yeah, that's right. I feel like I should have looked that up, but he has won like an incredible amount of money off of Live. And it's so funny because I I when I think of him, I think of uh shoot, why can't I remember his name? Mito Pereira. And I'm like, dang, I wish, yeah, they're there were good buds, and I I wish they would have stayed in. And I I forgot, like, whatever happened to him that he retired. I was like, oh, that's right. But Jocko is, you know, carrying the torch and just dominating. And he he wasn't in the lead for a long time, but he came and just finished it off in Taylor Gooch and Bryson couldn't hang, couldn't hang on. Yeah, another playoff. So we had playoffs in both uh tours this week uh against Taylor Gooch. Obviously, the poster child or uh the most outspoken live enthusiast at Taylor Gooch. But yeah, unbelievable. It was a pretty good, pretty good tournament. Uh DJ did pretty well, actually. And and uh, like you said, Bryson almost snuck in there with a 65 on the final day. Rom's a top 10 streak did come to an end. I mean, still playing great golf, but he just just missed it. Yeah, pretty, pretty incredible stuff. What do you think about I I I was thinking this because I don't typically watch Live, but I was awake at three o'clock in the morning and I forgot that David Faraday is a commentator. What's gonna happen when Liv goes away? Because our I would like to see David Faraday again. He's the best. I I as much as like people were leaving the PGA tour and it was hurting watching them leave for live, David Faraday hurt. Like when he left broadcast to go to live, I love Dave Faraday. I iconic voice, obviously, but he's funny, witty. I miss I miss having him on on the PGA. So yeah, I I hope we get him back. I don't it's not like the broadcast has like a ban from you know these people, it's all contracts. Uh you know, if they want him back, I'm sure he'll come back. So uh maybe that's a nice uh uh bonus from from Live Shutting Down. Yeah, we'll see. I I would vote for that. To be fair, Liv is still not shut down, you know. They're trying they they seemingly keep uh keep increasing the amount of money they need in sponsorship, but they're not quite shut down yet. So we'll have to see. We'll until it's definitive, we we won't know. But um yeah. All right, that's enough professional golf for the day. Let's move over to YouTube golf, which is becoming more professional by the second, considering the fact that the internet invitational invitee list went out officially to all the invitees. We got some pretty good, shocking ones, and it seems like they're expanding the field, which I think is is actually a good thing. I just don't want it to get too expanded, but I think it it's great that they're expanding it a little bit more. But the biggest headline of all was the new price or new purse, which is four million dollars. I mean, we were just talking about it. That's almost the career earnings of Jack Nicholas. What a world! What a time to be a part of YouTube internet golf. It's just unbelievable. Now, I don't know how it's split because I know they have skins games, and those skin games were worth $4,000 a whole last time. I'm sure there'll be more now, but I would assume the main prize goes from a million to probably at least two and a half, which is crazy. I know a lot of these people are pretty famous themselves, done really well in in YouTube and content, but $700,000 to these people is a lot. I don't care if you're freaking, I don't even care if you're Bobby Berger. $700,000 is a ton to you. Yeah. And I it's just gonna make it even more exciting. I mean, I just that is the thing that made it so electric last year was seeing these people who've never really played for much stakes stand over a three-footer and have to really think about it. And that's just the best part of it because you you don't want to just say good, good, and move on, you know. It you get to really put them in the position of competitive golf. And I just I love it. It's awesome. So when when is it? When is the next one? I think they shoot it in the summer. So they'll shoot it in like a month or two, and then it'll take four months, three months to edit. And so we'll see it in October. Dang, I don't want to wait. I know, I know. It's funny, you know, there wasn't that much buzz around when it was shot last year in the summer. The apparently the NDA is pretty ridiculous, like really ironclad. I'm sure. But it'll be interesting if details leak out this year, given how much notoriety it got last year. So hopefully not. I mean, that would that would suck. But yeah, honestly, I don't even watch it for the result. I watched it for all the interaction in between, so I guess it wouldn't ruin it that much. But I'm excited nonetheless. I like the internet invitational invites that went out. It was that little computer with the you're invited. It looked cool. I don't know if you saw it on social media, but it looked really cool. Can't imagine what a dream it would be to receive one of those one day. And for a lot of these people, they're probably ecstatic. This is their Super Bowl. So well, and this is this is their master's invite when you think about it. Like they're never gonna play there. So it's like that this is that equivalent, which is is super cool. And I can't wait to get ours next year. Yeah, that's right. We might have a couple years to go. Well, we won't get ahead of ourselves, but we'll we'll eventually get there. Yeah. I feel like at some point they're gonna have to do like qualifiers. I feel like they're gonna actually have to do qualifiers to get into the invitational. I am curious. I would love to see a little behind the scenes of how they picked everybody and like what the criteria was. That sounds super interesting if Barstell wanted to do something like that. It doesn't need to be too long, but it could be a full, full episode, a couple hours. Yeah, that's actually a great idea. Like a little ranking beans thing, you know? Exactly. They're putting beans by the the pictures. Oh yeah. That's great. All right. Well, besides the invites going out, we had a pretty decent week on YouTube golf. Foreplay played a Hampton's course Sabonic uh against Kiz. I'll just say this. I think I was against it at first, I'll be honest. I think Kiz is a great addition to to the foreplay group. It kind of gives that you know steady, really good player, no offense to Riggs, but that you know isn't necessarily like a seven or eight that's more um more established. It's kind of fitting the role of like FP for Bob to Sports. I just like it. And he's witty, he's funny, he doesn't, you know, he gives it right back to them. He he's kind of the perfect one for it, but he got his butt handed to him this time because Frankie went absolutely bonkers and shot a 78 at Savonic. I mean, that's incredible. Yeah. So his net score was way lower than than Kiz, who did shoot a 300, by the way. He shot, I think it's 68. Dang. But yeah, Frankie destroyed him. So shout out to Frankie. That's great. Yeah, and you know, I I kind of have a hot take on the Kisner thing. And I I saw that he played. Let's see. Did he play last week? Hold on. He did. And he he he missed the cut. And so I was like, oh, I didn't know he was really using exemptions anymore to play or whatever he was. So I went and looked back at his 2025 season, played 17 events and he made the cut three times. I'm like, oof. At what point? And I'm not saying it is now because he has a very decorated career, but he spent a lot of time with like TGL broadcasting. When does he kind of give up that spot for another player? Or do you think I don't think you don't think he gives it up? You don't think he gives it up? No, if he if he no, no. I based on what I've seen about his personality, no. Yeah. That's fair. And and that's fine. I think some people, I probably the younger guys were like, hey man, like leave a spot open for somebody really sure, you know, competitive. But at the same time, he's just as competitive. So it's more yeah, he's he's earned it, and that's why he could play in these events. But three out of 17 cuts is kind of rough. It is rough. But you know what? He he has a pretty such a breadth of uh experienced career with broadcasting, the internet stuff, PGA. So pretty cool. Very cool. Ryan Bros and Grant put out their major cut series, both parts. Um, it was pretty amazing. They played at Sali, which is in Washington, I believe, and it was the site for the 1998 PGA championship. I think I think VJ won that one. Yeah, if I'm if I'm I think VJ won that one. Nice. So the idea is that they go and play major venues. You know what? I realized I haven't seen this, but I'm it's one of my favorites. I had the same idea like last year. Um I'm assuming they go and play major courses. Yeah, not only that, but they set it up. Uh they usually work with the course to set up the championship pins. So they get the the Thursday, Friday pins. And the idea is that they try to make the cut. So the cut I think was plus five, and so they try to make the cut plus five or better for the two days. They play it two rounds, and it's so cool. They put their names on the leaderboard at is a tracking from back from 1998. So you see, you know, you see all these legends with them, and it's it's cool you track them. It's a phenomenal idea, and it's fun. Yeah, it's really, really fun. Uh, unfortunately, George had a bow out due to injury, so it was just Grant and Wesley playing. It was Wesley's first, or it was the whole channel's first uh made cut of the season. Wesley made it just at the number plus five. Grant did not, never really had a big shot at it throughout it. But uh yeah, phenomenal. God, the course was so interesting. It's an insanely narrow course. I mean, tree lined as you would think Pacific Northwest would bring, but just an insanely narrow course. Definitely takes a specific type of golfer to win it. And um, yeah, it was phenomenal. It was great, great video. I love that, I love that series. I can't wait to see more of it. The rumor, the deep rumor, is that there is a major cut at Augusta that's in the can, but that they're holding it. But pretty amazing that if this is true, that they're able to keep it under wraps. Like it just I feel like it's so hard to do nowadays. For sure. But that would be pretty cool. It'd be pretty cool. Yeah. All right. So last one we'll close out with Bob does sports, did a gauntlet where one person has to go through all the players, beat them, or tie them, depending on who it is, and get through all the people, I think twice. Uh, they invited Mason Nutt, who's a breezy athlete, to also join the crew this week, and they let production in as well. So it was Jet, J Bone, Mason Nutt, FP, and Bobby. Unbelievable. What do you think? I love this series. Like, I just think the format is so entertaining because you can focus in on just two guys at a time. And I mean, Joey almost lost his mind again, which is why some of these videos are so successful. But yeah, he didn't he didn't do it. But it's just I like the idea. I love Jet, man. He is the by far the best at getting under Joey's skin. No one will ever even touch it. So good. It was just great. But the I mean, the cherry on top, I mean, J Bone finishing it off with a 45-foot putt set of cup was unbelievable. That was like I mean, you couldn't script it better. That was fantastic. You couldn't, and I think it just worked out perfectly for them. Yes. Good way to finish it off. I who would you like I I want to see this series again. Have they done this before? Do you know? They've done it a couple times. FP used to do it all the time because he was like the one that could beat everyone quickly. Now they've adjusted it for Joey, like he just has to tie FP for a whole. But yeah, they've done it a couple times. Yeah, I would like to see Mason try to do it. That'd be cool. That'd be cool. Yeah. No, he got the nerves, which I mean could have just been off day, but man, he shanked a few shots, and that is not like him. No, I didn't expect that. I did not expect that. He topped one on to the ladies' tease on one of it was crazy. It happens. One of us. Um all right. We will switch back to some professional golf. We got an incredible tournament. It's the Memorial Jack's place at Mirrorfield Village. Um, fantastic tournament, long-standing one. Stars are out again after being, you know, uh not too many signature events or not having a signature event in the last two events. Um it seems pretty obvious who's gonna definitely be in contention on this one. So before we say his name, there's a player in here who has the farthest margin to a course fit in strokes gained per course by a country mile. And it's no question since I'm looking at the the stats right now. First, first, third, third. Unbelievable. I just don't see him not winning it this week. I don't either. And my only question is why didn't he play in 2022? Yeah, you know what? That's a great question. I don't know why he didn't play in 2022. Probably would have gotten top three. Probably. So just yeah, I mean, Scotty's Scotty's playing some great golf, albeit not up to his standard that he set last year. No, no question there. Yeah. But still got the game, still getting all those top fives, and you're just waiting for, you know, this uh maybe run of even bad luck, you'd say, uh, to stop and and he'll he'll win again. So which is crazy to even call a double, you know, but yeah, it is what it is in the perspective of what he's been able to do the past couple years. So yeah, I mean, that's that's who I have. I can see him kind of mopping the floor here a little bit. But we'll see. I will definitely be playing the without Scotty market this week. Yeah, who are you going without Scotty? Yeah, so I went back to Siwoo Kim, who we've been rooting for kind of all this season, and he's been there almost every time. He just kind of fell apart a couple weeks ago. Didn't even fall apart really, kind of same as last week. He did not lose it. No, and he's just so calm and collected, and honestly, he played with Scotty pretty much the entire time, you know. And so it's like if there's somebody that can't have three final pairings with Scotty this season. Yes, this season. Yeah, is it crazy? It and and it just goes to show like he's come they're comfortable playing with each other, he's comfortable playing with Scotty, knowing he can one hundred percent beat him. So you see. Fourth, a fourth one? Fourth final pairing? Sunday? 100%. Yeah. I wonder if I can make that actual bet. You can make that bet, and it pays nicely. Good. Well, there's my bet then. That's all your diapers for the next year. Hey, I'll take it. Perfect. And then my other one is Justin Thomas. I mean Oh, we're we're really aligned this week, then. Are we? Yeah. I mean, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth have all both been playing very well, which is not something that we really need to say, but we know how what their top game is. And they it hasn't been there the past couple years, but they've shown that they can be in the final group this season. So yeah, those are my picks. Definitely. Well, good. I don't even need to say my picks. Uh, I got Scotty, I got JT. Last one I'll throw out who had a great, obviously, Sunday. And I just think this is a guy who plays on confidence. You saw it last year when he got on a roll, he just started winning tournaments out of nowhere. And I think he is a person who very much plays on confidence and he has some good history here. I say Ben Griffin goes right back to the well and finds himself in contention this weekend. I think that's a great pick. Uh, I was just saying a lot of these guys who are sitting around the 20 mark in the world golf ranking. I think Ben Griffin is in it might even be top 10 soon, but they're making a push. So I I'm I'm looking forward to that. Definitely. Well, good. Uh should be a great week. Love signature events. I miss them when we don't have them, so it should be great. By the way, I forgot to mention this earlier, especially when we were talking about Eric Cole. But you know, I'm a big fan of horse racing. Uh, I'll throw this out there. Horse racing is very famous for having what's called maiden races, which just gets together all the people that haven't ever won before. Horses that have never won before. So at least one person walks away with a winner. I think one tournament a year in golf should be a maiden tournament where it's all non-winners. I think that'd be really cool. Yeah. I mean, we do the Century Tournament of Champions where you have to win to be in it. Why don't we flip it and have it be what Century's like the monitoring company? Yeah. Maybe we'll do like a bug bounty company. Perfect. That's and they do the one made in. That's a great idea. I love that. Yeah. All right. We got a Pro Shop drop, not too much actually released this past week, we'll be honest. Um, but besides the price tag catching our eye, pretty great looking putter, Odyssey's back with the trihot in the black style. Uh, overall, before we go into the price, what do you think about it? You know, I always go back and forth because I think if Odyssey were to get rid of every model of putter except for the white hot line, they would be fine. You know, the the two-ball is tried and true. The blade, the seven tried and true putters that are going to live forever. I have the white hot Versa right now that I've just been toying around with. I got a couple years ago. Very similar to this model where it's like the black and white kind of painting. The idea is it's supposed to be better for eyesight and your line. So the black and white is like what I've read is supposed to be what your putter should be, so that you are aligning better with the ball and not getting distracted by a bunch of other colors. So kind of like that about these putters is that don't tell lab that. I know. When there's there's a lot going on in those labs. And then the one we talked about last week, the Taylor made. Was it Taylor made? Yeah, where you can just swap out any color basically. But I love these. It the the the all black. It reminds me of the clubs I always wanted in high school where the Cleveland Golf, black pearl, you know, just very slick, but yes, very hefty price tag. Uh, most of the models run for $5.99. Wow. Which I think is a world that we live in. Too expensive for a putter. Go pick up a used Odyssey two ball for $100, and you have just as good a putter, in my opinion. 100%. 100% agree. All right. Well, with that being said, let's get into some games. Obviously, the headline for the week, especially in the YouTube golf scene, was the internet invitational invite list went out. All the physical items went out as well. Can't wait to see these kind of keep popping up and we get to figure out who's gonna be on the board. I think it's gonna be an expanded list this year. I don't know how they'll figure it out from a format standpoint, but I can imagine we'll have maybe, I don't know, 15-20% more golfers than we did last year. But one major part of that is we got to have some people returning. So I figured today we'd do a little draft of who we want to see back in the internet invitational that is not from Bob Does Sports, Good, Good, or Foreplay. Kind of the three groups that put on the event. Those are kind of guaranteed. So outside of that, who's coming back? Who do we want to see back most? And we'll do a little draft. Love it. Let's do it. All right, I'll go first. I'll go first. It's an easy one. The other hero, besides Beef from the first year, will go Chassie. Chassis has to 1000% come back. Was my fit one of my favorite parts of the entire tournament discovering this? I I in the golf content space didn't know too much about him. Just an incredibly likable personality. And yeah, I can't wait to see him back. And I would bet all my money in the world that he's coming back. I I think that's a great pick. Very entertaining, very cool dude, just likable. Yeah. Who are you going with your first pick? So I think my first pick, want somebody entertaining and fun. And I've actually been watching a lot of their podcasts lately, Bad Friends. So Andrew Santino. I think he is absolutely hilarious and so quick on his feet and provides just endless entertainment. And he's a good golfer. So I think he is super fun. He's a great golfer, which is surprising. When he came out with his uh his pod, his golf podcast, which is I think he's called Bad Lies. I was like, oh man, like this is so random. Like, why is he starting a golf podcast? Uh no, he's a fantastic golfer. Yeah. And there is no, I will stand on this, there is no wittier, quicker comeback person on this entire roster than Andrew Santino. He was hilarious last year. Yeah. So great, great, great one. Um, all right, I'll go with my next pick. I'm calling kind of another person who just I feel like the community really just kind of fell in love with and it has been a part of YouTube golf probably longer than anyone on on this list, maybe other than Rick Shields, but Peter Finch. Peter Finch, fantastic golfer, but also just one of those great personalities you want to hear from and and commentate. And I think he was a great partner for a lot of it. I I can't wait to see Peter Finch back. I like that one a lot. Kind of brings maybe a little nostalgia, just a little kind of class to the whole thing. Yeah, good pick. Kind of in a similar vein. And this because this was probably the first person I started watching when I got into YouTube golf was Rick Shields. And like he's kind of a weird dude. He's just like a dad, in my opinion. But to me, he's like one of the first golf YouTubers I would watch all of his lessons, like all of his golf tips. I loved watching the series where he's like building his own simulator in his garage. Yeah. So I think I think he brings one a good skill level to to the tournament, but as well a little bit of the kind of dad vibe of uh being a little more professional. And so I think that would pair well with my first pick of Andrew Santino. I think they would they would do well on a team. Yeah, they they did well uh last year. Um they were, I think, paired up for the alternate shot and and won that. So yeah, they're they're they're a great pair. He think that was the part which I know you can't fix because someone has to lose and someone has to go home. But I think him and Santino were one kind of ones I was sad that I couldn't watch more of because they got eliminated after the first day. Um and I could say that about a bunch of these golfers that I want to see more of that we didn't get to last year. But I get it, someone's gotta lose. And that's and that's part of also the risk reward there is like these people just want to even stay and play the weekend, you know, the version of the weekend because it brings so much visibility to them and their channels and all that stuff. So they're playing for even more than money a lot of the time on this. Um, all right, that was a long aside. Uh, I'll go with my last pick here, and I'm conflicted because there's a bunch of options, but I'm gonna actually go one of the anti-heroes, and I think a lot of people were hating on him, but it's just so critical to have this type of personality within the internet invitational that you would almost say that the internet invitational is made for a person like this, but do you have to have DOD, and we've talked about this before, but you need to bring in another personality to match it on the other side, and I think it'll create fireworks. So I'm gonna go, uh yeah, I'm gonna go DOD King. It was for the bit, you know, all the a lot of the stuff, and he'll he'll say it on a podcast is like, yeah, I'm playing a character. His character is frickin' hilarious, yeah, and it's easy one to hate, but that's makes it kind of fun. See, I thought you were gonna go maybe with Luke Kwan there in that whole debacle from last year. But you know what? He will be on it. He already said on a podcast he was invited. I honestly would be okay if he wasn't, but that's okay. Fair enough. Okay, my last pick. Just because I've been watching a lot of his videos too, I don't know if this was allowed in our rules, but can I take Mason Nutt? Yeah, 100%. Yeah. Like, I I don't know. I just like his style of videos. It's much more kind of my pace, a little more relaxed, lightweight, not I don't know, but he's just got a good vibe on the golf course. And I think if I were in the invitational, I would love to be paired with somebody like him. Totally. And keeps keeps you loose, seems like a positive person. I think his videos where he does like the feeding, feeding people part where he like brings like five incredible meals as you play. I think that's so unique and funny. So good. But yeah, no, uh, Mason Nut is definitely one of my favorite creators out there. So yeah, uh great, great final pick. Well, good. It's gonna be so fascinating. I just can't wait. I it's like it's so sad to say, but it's like masters and then it's like internet invitational for me is things that I'm looking forward to uh in the golf community, which sounds ridiculous, but that's the level in which I enjoyed watching obscene amount of hours of this last year. Yep, it's it's gonna be super fun, and uh I don't know how they're gonna outdo themselves, but they will. Yeah, 100%. Great. All right. Uh, you got this next one. Yeah. So in the spirit of the memorial tournament, I thought we'd play a little game, Tiger or the Bear, Golden Bear, where we're gonna run through just some crazy stats and achievements, and you're gonna have to tell me if it's Tiger or Jack. Sound good? This is gonna be harder than I think. I it is gonna be harder than you think, and there's some tricks in there, so you may need to think about a few. Okay. Okay, but some of these I think you might get. So let's see. All right, so the first one. He won his very first major championship by a massive record-breaking margin of 12 strokes. Tiger Woods. Very good. Tiger Woods, of course, did this at the 1997 Masters, easily set the record and just beat everybody else. I randomly like one late night flicked that on like on YouTube because they have all the final, they have all the full rounds of Masters going back. It was an incredible thing to watch the coverage because it's like you've never watched something that means so much, but it's just it's it's done. Done before it started. But yeah, unbelievable. But he was still going after it. He was still trying to beat him by 15. Yeah, that that is one tournament that I wish I could watch without knowing anything from start to finish. Knowing that this force is just coming in to the golf world, you know, and not knowing how big he's really gonna be. Yeah. So yeah, anyway. Okay, so that was Tiger. So this next one. He has finished as the runner-up in a major championship, staggering 19 times in his career. Yeah, I'm gonna go Jack because I just don't I feel like it's Tiger wins it or is not that close to it. I'll go Jack. That's that's a good guess, and it is Jack, which when you think about it, coming in second in 19 majors. Unbelievable. Let's just say he won half of those. That's that's honestly incredible. Incredible. He'd be at if he won nine more, he'd be at 27 majors. That's that's that's the that is probably the more most remarkable stat we will go through out of all this. Yeah. There's some good ones in there too. Uh I got another good one for you soon. Okay, okay, keep going. All right, this next one. Think about this one. He won at least one major championship in three different decades. Well, shoot, no, it's it's Jack because Tiger's last is 19, so I didn't quite make it into the 20s. So wait, no, three decades. Oh, shoot. Oh, that's wait, it's not both. It's both. Wow, you did it. Nice job. Okay, okay, sorry. I didn't give you that option, but I th I I thought you might get it anyway. So yes, it's both 60s, 70s, and 80s. Tigers in the 90s, 2000s, 2010s. Yeah, yeah, that's an incredible. I mean, honestly, incredible. And man, Tiger was very close to being four decades. Yeah, and still might be. Yeah, well, we'll see. We'll see. Okay, next one. He won the PGA Tour Player of the Year Award, a record setting five times. I'll go Tiger on that one. I I yeah, I'll go Tiger on that one. Okay, so this one's a little tricky. It is Jack. The thing is, Jack held the all-time record with five until Tiger came along and won it 11 times. Okay, I see what you did there. Okay. So he did win it five times. Yes, he did win it five times. But okay, there you go. Pretty crazy still that these two golfers have had player of the year 16 years total. Like that's that's a lot. Unbelievable. Okay. Okay. This next one. From their first major win to their most recent major win, the time period was 24 years. Well, I guess it's it's gotta be Tiger. That one is Jack. Pretty incredible. Both of them pretty close there, though, 22 and 24. So if Tiger did win another major, then he would crush that record. Yes. Okay. By a lot. By six years. Yeah. If it was the issue. Yeah. Okay. This player has won 37 37 different PGA tour events, which ranks fourth of all time. I'll go Jack. That is the right answer. Jack has won 37 different PGA tour events. Here's why this to me actually is a more incredible stat because the schedule wasn't the same as it is now. Sure. And there wasn't as much variety in the amount of tournament, the type of tournaments or the named tournaments that they could play. So if we were to compare it to this current time, he may have had won several different tournaments in in that. So pretty crazy that in the 60s to the 80s, 47 different 37 different tournaments. Incredible. Yeah. Okay. He holds the record for the most consecutive cuts made on the PGA tour at 142 tournaments in a row. I'll go tiger. That one's tiger. That is going to be a hard one to beat. I think people have speculated that Scotty was going to go after that one. Missed it. But already missed it. But still incredible. Jack's only. Oh, he's going to get there. Yeah. Then you start it all over. Crazy. But no, that one, uh Jack 105. Still pretty incredible. Yeah. Okay, one more. He amassed 286 top 10 finishes in 595 starts, which means he placed in the top 10 48%. That's such a remarkable set. You're right. That might be the most. That's incredible. I gotta go Tiger. Tiger had a better percentage. No way. Jack had 286 top 10s in 595 starts. Tiger. My goodness. Is that not incredible or what? I I just we're not saying cuts, we're saying in total tournaments, almost half the time he gets in the top 10. So consistent. I mean, think about how he plays golf, though. I mean, how and how he tells Scotty to play his golf and he's missed or don't do doubles. And that's what happens when you when you aren't making big blow ups, is you're gonna find yourself in contention every single week. That's unbelievable. Yeah. Yeah. So a lot of good Jack and Tiger history here. These two, the two best to ever do it. And it's really cool to see kind of their stats side by side there and very similar. For sure. Cool. Okay. Uh so we have one more. I've been, you know, kind of stuck at home with the with the new baby. And I've really want to get out to the range, but I can't. And so I've been thinking about how I can kind of bridge the gap and get some things here at home to sure, you know, make me feel like I'm out on the golf course. Which I think you mentioned you have a launch monitor and a sim. I think we all go through that phase where we just kind of wish we could be golfing 24-7 at home. And so yeah, uh, yeah, I got quite a few different little gizmos and gadgets back here. Nice. Okay. Yeah, and I think that phase never really goes away. No. It just is. Imagine being in a place where it isn't seasonable to golf year-round. I mean, we we're lucky in in California, like those those people in Minnesota. You gotta think of everything. Yeah, I used to live in Michigan. That that would not have catered well. No? Excuse me. Now you're good. Okay, so in the spirit of that, I thought we would blind rank some of the best at-home golf items. Let's do it. So I'm gonna give you some, and this is more for me to uh figure out what I should be investing in. Okay. Okay, so the first one. Let's see. We have seven items here. Easy. Okay. First one is a golf mat and an outdoor net, plain and simple. Tried and true. Um it's a place to start. I think that's actually like kind of the perfect barometer. We'll go four. We'll go smack dab right in the middle. Okay. Makes sense. Getting a little more sophisticated here. The putt view putting simulator. You know what that is? Is it the one you inflate to show you different lines and brakes? Yes. And it has like the light that shows you the break. Okay, no, that's a little bit more advanced. Yeah. But it's like a seven, six by five, like platform putting thing. It's just so limiting. Like, and honestly, as just like a person who if you're gonna have cool tech at home, you want to be golfing. Like, you don't want to just be putting. I'm gonna so I'm gonna go actually, I'm gonna go a little bit lower. I'm gonna go five on that. Okay, fair enough. That one's also very expensive. Okay, this one. Any great addition to a man cave, the classic golden tea arcade game. Man, now you're throwing in. I mean, that's okay. I mean, realistically, it's it's a three. It's not it's not breaking in that it's it's incredibly entertaining and fun, and yes, the the greatest thing to have in a man cave, but there's some better stuff. Gotcha. All right, I'll take a three. I like that. Okay, this next one, the Rap Soto MLM Pro, the newer one, and an indoor hitting bay. This is the one I did have for a while. It wasn't the latest one, but I did have a wrap soto. It's good, not great, but I mean it's it's fun. It's fun to hit on this simulator. I think it I can't remember what uh software it hooked into, but allowed you to pick courses. It's a good one. I like it. Uh I'll I'll go two. I'll go two. Two. That's the one I would love. These ceilings are a little too low, so I'll have to wait. Okay, this next one, more of a prepping for on the course, but the golf forever swing training system and some weights. You gotta be a real hard o to want that more than some of these fun things. I think that's a seven. Fair enough. Fair enough. Sometimes though, you gotta probably what I need. Probably what I need most, but seven. Probably what we all need, yeah. Okay, two more. This one I've also thought of because I have this giant just empty patch on my side yard, but a backyard in ground installed putting green. So oddly enough, today I put in an offer on a house that has one. Wow. Breaking news. That's amazing. And I hope that you get the house. Yes. Yes, you do, because it also has room for a shed to put in a simulator. So there's a 0.1% chance of me getting this house, but we did put in an offer, so we'll see. Amazing. I want to hear about that more a little bit later. So we'll go one. Gotta go one for juju. I like that. Number one, backyard in ground putting green, which leaves the last one at number six, which I had never really heard of this software, but I know the MetaQuest. MetaQuest plus the VR Golf Plus. It's fun. It has no, it has no bearing to any sort of semblance of a golf game, other than the idea of golfing. It does not accurately read wrist rotation like it says it does. I'm striping it on VR Golf. That's how I know. Love it. But it is fun. I don't, yeah. I mean, it's probably better than a six, but uh, it'll be our six for today. Sounds good. Well, it sounds like we we you're almost have the backyard putting green, and I gotta install my own. So we'll see. Yeah. Sounds good. Combine the two forces and we got a hell of a golf retreat. All right, that's gonna do it for us. Thank you for joining and see you next time.
