I was thinking the other day about the things we keep simply because we've had them for a long time. That one pair of jeans that hasn't fit since 2019. That subscription service we never use but keep paying for. Or more importantly, the friendships and habits that feel like a scratchy wool sweater in the middle of July. They're familiar, sure, but are they flattering? In our lives, we are the creative directors of our own reality. But somehow, we forget that we have the power to edit. We let our schedules, our circles, and our mental spaces get cluttered with shoulds and used to be's. And here's the thing about a cluttered frequency. It's impossible to hear the static free signal of your own intuition when there is too much noise in the room. This week on Self and the Frequency, we are talking about the energetic edit. It's time to stop hoarding energy that no longer serves the person you are becoming. We are going to talk about the power of the know, the beauty of the unsubscribe, and how to make room for the high vibration life you actually want to live. It feels a little bit like a breakup, even if you're just breaking up with a bad habit or a social obligation that leaves you feeling drained. We worry about being too much, or worse, not enough. We worry that if we let go of the old, nothing new will show up to fill the space. But darling, the universe can't resist an empty shelf. When you clear out the low vibe clutter, you aren't leaving a hole, you're creating an invitation. Think of your energy like a luxury boutique. If the racks are stuffed with outdated, dusty inventory, no one can see the couture pieces, you have to clear the floor to let the showstoppers shine. So how do we start the edit without feeling like we're losing our minds or our friends? First, we have to look at the frequency drainers. You know who they are, the people who call you only to vent for 45 minutes, the group chats that make your heart sink when you see a notification, the opportunities that feel like a chore before you've even said yes. If it's not a hell yes, it's a not right now. At not right now is a complete sentence. So let's get into it. This week I challenge you to perform a surgical energetic edit. First is the body compass audit. For the next 48 hours, I want you to pay attention to your physical reaction when your phone buzzes or an invite drops. Does your chest tighten? Do your shoulders hike up to your ears? That is your frequency telling you it's a no. If it doesn't feel expansive, it's clutter. Edit it out. Next, do the silent unsubscribe. This isn't just for emails, so you should definitely clear those out too. This is about the digital noise. If you're following accounts that make you feel less than, or if you're hate watching someone's life, hit that unfollow button. Protect your eyes and your energy like they are the most precious commodities you own. Because they are. And finally, it's what I call the future you test. Before you commit to anything this week, ask yourself, would the version of me I'm manifesting say yes to this? If that high vibe, successful, peaceful version of you wouldn't take the call or attend the event, then the current version of you shouldn't either. Dress for the frequency you want, not the one you're stuck in. And now it's time for our signature frequency check-in. Let's take a moment to settle into the space we've just created. Take a deep breath in. Imagine your energy expanding outward, clearing the air around you. And as you exhale, imagine releasing the weight of every should you've been carrying. Take another breath in, breathing in the clarity of a clean slate. And as you exhale, let go of the guilt of saying no. Feel how much lighter you are when you aren't carrying everyone else's expectations. Feel the quiet power in the space you've just made for yourself. You are the curator, you are the editor, you are the vibe. Remember, honey, your life is a masterpiece in progress. Don't be afraid to use the eraser.
