SPEAKER_00

Hey guys, welcome to another episode of the Gold Coast Podcast. I'm your host, Eric Weingard, and today we have an exciting guest, David Pressler, uh entrepreneur, uh good man, kind person, unbelievable legacy. And he he's a man that's trying to change the world. He says he has a home that not only consumes less energy, but can actually produce more energy than it consumes. So I'm really excited to hear how David wants to help people and change the planet. Thanks for being on. You know, freedom of speech, obviously, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

I see, I think that I don't think if it's it's freedom of speech, ready. I think it's freedom of opinion.

SPEAKER_01

Perspective. Everybody has a perspective of life. Who's to say it's good or bad? Everybody has a perspective of God, spirituality. That guy's better than my guy? Yeah, no. But you know, and and that's it, but that all gets down to greed too. Because religion is big moneymaker.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. A lot of wars have been fought over religion. And wars create billionaires.

SPEAKER_00

Probably most most conflict ever in the history of man has been over religion, right?

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_00

A lot of bloodshed over who's God is right, right?

SPEAKER_01

That's right. And if you and I'll guarantee, if you went to the population of those people, they say, we're not into it. We're not gonna, we're not going butcher those people.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think even if even if you ask, you know, I agree. So so I'm you know, I think even if you ask people in our country today, do they support the Iranian war? You know, like if they have a weapon and they're imminently gonna use it for evil, sure, but I don't even know if that's the truth. Right? Like, that's it, so weapons of mass destruction 20 years ago, like, here we go again.

SPEAKER_01

Vietnam.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Go visit Vietnam now. It's a tourist tourist attract.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So how did so I I want to um dig into you and we're we're rolling, right, Dave? We're rolling, we're going. We're going. Yeah, nice to okay. I'm excited to learn. Uh, this is kind of how I do it. I like to do it a little casual, right? Uh, that's good. To kind of dig into it. But tell me um start me from scratch. Tell me um, tell me a little bit about your business. Tell me about safe domes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, educate me on safe domes. Safe domes was a after product of Hurricane Andrew. But before that, in 1979, in Loxahatchie, Florida, I've been in Florida since 1953. And in the 70s became a fuel crisis. So us hippies were doing all sorts of type of uh alternative construction using uh at the time land to burn the side of homes to create uh insulation and stuff. And here in Florida, uh I was familiar with spray concrete and swimming pools made framed with rebar. So I I said, well, the solution to affordable housing in 1979, 1980, and and storm resistant would be monolithic concrete homes contain can uh solid concrete, no no wood. And that's what I built in Loxachee, Florida. Uh now here's where spirituality sort of comes in. You know, after looking back, you always have to look back, you see your, you know, what could be, what happened. And that what I was doing was so far off from what was being done in way of construction, it caused a uh conflict in my marriage, and it caused uh that project uh due to a divorce, uh uh never never was completed. But the interesting story of that project, and it was completed.

SPEAKER_00

You mean a divorce from the project, not the project? Well, a divorce from the wife, but and that ended the project. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah. Yeah, she got the uh gold mine, yeah. Okay, yeah. I got the shaft. But no, it was uh it was a yeah, I I put a lot of energy into that and versus it into my family. So but when they tried to tear that house down, they came in with a uh what's called an excavator. An excavator is a big thing, it has a bucket on the end of an arm, and it bounced off. Then they came in with five-ton, eight-ton wrecking ball. This is two-story monolithic concrete home with rebar, every number four rebar, I think, every 10 inches was six inches of 5,000 psi gunite. So wrecking ball bounced off. Now, they found the only way to tear this house down was to get a crew with fire retardant gear on and concrete cut saws and cut the house down. Now, in Loxahatchie in 1980, you had to drive 20 miles to the nearest uh club or anything. I think they had a moose lodge. There was no Wellington. So now, yeah, what my story is that the strength of this building, they had to cut that building down, and I was told at times there'd be 200 plus people out there in their lounge chairs with the beer, watching this fireworks going off, because every time they hit that rebar, they were just sparks going everywhere.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, wow.

SPEAKER_01

Now, from that I learned uh I got a lesson on how to frame and create a monolithic concrete building. Now, after Hurricane Andrew came by and blew all of South Florida down, I was offering concrete dome homes. But at the time, and I don't know if things would change, you couldn't get a conventional loan because there were no comparables. There were no dome homes, you know. So the next best option was to design a safe room. And to this day, I have the only portable eight-ton tornado-proof garden shed in America. Certified by Miami Dade County.

SPEAKER_00

That's this right here?

SPEAKER_01

That's it. No, that's the house that uh was torn down.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_01

But on the other side, you'll see eight-ton dome. Oh, gotcha. Okay. Department of War and Miami Dade County certified as a bunker. Now, for eight, here's the most amazing thing. An above ground bunker, basically. And you don't want to put your bunker underground. Okay, okay. It becomes an owl, it becomes a coffin. Yeah. You put your storm shelter underground, now you got twenty, who knows how many feet of rubble on top of you? You better have a second exit because it's hard enough to find a victim on the rubble above ground. Now you've got yourself underground, you have no communications. So now how are you going to get out of that thing? Okay? No, no, never put your storm shelter underground.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

That's all where I'm from upstate New York. We got that's where they all are. Well, a tornado, and that's fine. If everything is working fine, and you don't have, you know, when a tornado comes through, that semi-truck can be sitting right on top of your exit of that whatever you got buried. Right. Okay. You got no communications. Nobody's going to hear you screaming.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Are there any commun? I'm just and I don't know anything about what you're talking. This is so foreign to me. So I might ask you.

SPEAKER_01

You haven't been in Florida long enough.

SPEAKER_00

No. Is there a way to communicate underground?

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

No.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_01

Your cell phone, all the cell, all the cell towers are blown down. Now, yeah. Imagine 200 mile an hour wind constant for 10 hours. That's what Jamaica went through. 109 mile an hour wind for eight hours. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. You just can't. And Andrew was a small hurricane. So, yeah. The future are homes that will not blow away. And sheds, garden sheds that the shed industry doesn't want you to know about, sheds, they will save your life. So you were a firefighter during Hurricane, Andrew? 28 years, Monbe Day County.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, wow. Thank you. Um kind of, you know, take us back to Hurricane Andrew. Like what did what did you see? I feel like you saw some things that changed you a little.

SPEAKER_01

Tornadoes. Inside a hurricane, there are hundreds of tornadoes. If your house isn't tornado-proof, you're not hurricane proof.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, you're so right. Every time I've been down here six years. I'm a new Floridian, my wife and I, and you're so right. Every time the weather gets a little iffy here with the hurricanes, you hear all these tornadoes popping up everywhere, and they and they're ripping and doing crazy damage.

SPEAKER_01

Ten years ago, tornadoes weren't too known in Florida. And now they're having tornadoes in New York. So the earth is changing. And you know, and why? Because 40 years ago, us hippies were screaming saying you're burning the planet up. And when Carter, and when Carter put the solar panels on the White House, we thought we had hope. And when Reagan took them down, we knew greed had taken over.

SPEAKER_00

Was there a specific moment that you remember during the hurricane where you kind of said to yourself that like do you remember the moment where you felt like things had to be done differently? The moment would be the aftermath.

SPEAKER_01

When you see two by fours stuck through a palm tree, when you see one side of a street ripped and the other side hardly touched. Yeah. And I've been in four, but we went through Hurricane Donna, Cleo, those are hurricanes that reached maybe 100 miles an hour. Yeah. We're talking 200, 180, 200, you know, gusts of 200 plus miles. They the the the meter at the University of Miami, the weather station, blew off at 100 at 200 miles an hour.

SPEAKER_00

You know, I personally haven't been around a lot of um natural disasters. Uh where I'm from in upstate New York and Rochester, it's a pretty snow, more snow hazard. Yeah, exactly. And you will have a snowstorm. Don't get me wrong, every, you know, like there was a big one in Buffalo a few years ago. Do you want to know how most people die? They're driving in the snow, and for whatever reason, they think they're going to get somewhere rather than just staying at home, and then the snow builds up to the point where they can't even drive their car. So the snow builds up and they keep their car on. Now the carbon monoxide's getting in the car. You end up getting 30 or 40 people that die for that reason because they're sitting in their freaking cars trying to go somewhere.

SPEAKER_01

And no knowledge. Somehow they didn't have the knowledge. Now in Iceland, I'm as a station Iceland, I was taught always carry a candle. A candle will save your life. Of course, you have to have a match, also.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Interesting. So so how would that save your life with that? How how would you uh if you're in an enclosed area, that gets back to to burn the carbon monoxide.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Well, not only that, but it'll keep it will keep the temperature in there, uh, you know, yeah, you'll keep the temperature from freezing. Wow. So yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So yeah, so and then there was there was an ice storm one year. It's kind of like the perfect confluence of events, David. And basically everything froze over, like everything was ice. That was kind of a big deal. I mean, trees were coming down, roofs were coming down, but that that's very rare.

SPEAKER_01

Today it's rare.

SPEAKER_00

Today it's rare.

SPEAKER_01

No, it'll be common in the near future. Well, I'd be like, Yeah, look what look what's going on up north now. Yeah. They've had a and and next year it'll be worse. And when that that snow keeps getting heavier and heavier, and some of these roofs can't take that snow load. You know.

SPEAKER_00

You're talking about the volume of snow that the north is getting right now. And what happens in the snow when it melts?

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah. Yeah. Now you got floods. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Oh, it's nasty.

SPEAKER_01

And and that's yeah, and that's how we change. We wait for the disaster to to you know to destroy something, and then we think about changing. Rather than saying, oh, we know this is happening, we gotta prepare for it. Most times we will just sit back and wait for it to destroy. Or they say, Oh, that tornado will never hit my house. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And that yeah, it's like it's like saying uh, you know, uh I won't get eaten by a shark, but you know what? Well, if you swim through sharks enough, yeah. Um it's why you won't catch me in the ocean too often. So I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this, right? Like I'm a I'm the definition of a conspiracy theorist, but I'm I don't even like to call myself a conspiracy theorist. I'm more of a skeptic, right? So when I hear something, I'm more like, okay, maybe. You know, I know a fact checker. There you go. Fact checker.

SPEAKER_01

That's that's the trend.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, I'm a fact checker. And and the hard part today is I don't care if you watch CNN or Fox, I'm always like, okay, whatever they're saying, I know there's more to it. Open your mind to everything. Yeah, I'm like, I'm gonna know there's more to it. And unfortunately, when you put on both channels, they're kind of just bashing each other. So I really try to read through the lines, but but do you think there's any what do you do you think it's possible that the global elite are modifying weather? Do you think there's any weather manipulation?

SPEAKER_01

You don't know what you don't know. Do you think it's possible? Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely. I do too. I think it's very possible, and in fact, I think it's likely.

SPEAKER_01

Well uh I think if if it's if it's being done, it'd be detected. With all we got with uh uh satellites and your and it uh it have all these different they can pick up all different heat heat and uh and different w waves and things like this that if if they were do manipulating and it would take a lot of energy, some kind of something that would be detected by now. That's my thought. But again, you know, uh uh uh radio waves, things that you don't see, maybe you know, can't be detected. So, you know, things, but you don't know what you don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

The the whole uh I I've become the whole Epstein stuff, right? Yeah. The fact that that was so covered up and so many powerful people are involved, and the you know, to me that just tells me how dark this world really is, and it makes me I'm not gonna put anything past people now. I've given it to you.

SPEAKER_01

I tell you, my my my big thing, and it sort of brought to my spirituality also. Which is um Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Well what is your spirituality?

SPEAKER_01

What is my spirituality?

SPEAKER_00

I just want to define this before you Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I I'm gonna say the the word of Christ is probably most defined. Love everybody. Okay. Yeah. Amen. Yeah. And and and I'm gonna I don't know what Okay.

SPEAKER_00

So you're a follower, you're a believer in Jesus. You believe he was?

SPEAKER_01

Even more than that, I think Jesus was an alien. Okay? Because if he could if he he swore that he knew he's not of this planet, he was an alien. And if you read about the crucifixion and after the crucifixion, where three entities came into the tomb and picked it. It's the Gospel of Peter. By the way, the Bible is the most censored book on the planet. The Romans left it. Read the Ethiopian Bible.

SPEAKER_00

I actually have a copy of my house. I've been dying to get into it. I ordered it.

SPEAKER_01

Anyway, okay. So a follower of Christ, but Christ is an alien. Oh, yeah. You get an ancient earth. Yep. There are a there are civilizations that have been here for billions, you know. But I was in ISO and I saw things that uh you know and Roswell. Roswell. That was the beginning of the Department of Defense. Right. Yeah. Forrestall was the first Department of Defense Secretary of the Department of Defense. Okay. Now that was formed after Roswell. Now, according to the conspiracy, whatever you want to call it, Forrestal was the only person who has actually been made contact with any other whatever. And he wanted to tell the public. The other 11 people said, you know, no way you're gonna tell anybody about this. And Forrestall was an admiral in the Navy. Within several weeks, he was committed into the Naval Hospital, picked up in the middle of the night, committed to the Naval Hospital. His family worked for months to get him released. Uh some days before he was due to be released, he committed suicide out of the sixth floor of that hospital.

SPEAKER_00

Nothing to see here. Huh? Nothing to see there.

SPEAKER_01

No. And then you get into reading about Adam Bird's trip to Antarctica.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you're getting you're going down okay.

SPEAKER_01

He was supposed to be there for six months. He hauled ass out of there in six weeks, and he made a statement to Chile that he saw things down there that uh anyway. And that No, unpack that. Unpack that.

SPEAKER_00

I love this story.

SPEAKER_01

I and that he never said anything more after that.

SPEAKER_00

What do you think Admiral Byrd saw?

SPEAKER_01

I think he saw an a extraterrestrial extraterrestrials all over this planet. Now that's just me saying that.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

The oceans are are a a a hotbed for uh what now the Navy has been seeing in a way of un I think they're calling them unidentified.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they have a new name for them. Not UFOs, but Semantics. I forget what they are.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. But anyway, it's it's just um and spirituality just comes in with the And this is why I'm trying to define it because now I'm trying to really spirituality really I guess the simplest thing I can s b believe is tapping into the energy around you. Okay? I gave up drinking in nineteen eighty-eight. Now, if nothing had changed in my life, I'd still be drinking. Things happen. I mean, unexplained things. See? I I shouldn't be here. And if I'm here, I should be in a wheelchair with a monkey feeding me. So at some point you gotta believe in a higher power. Angels, gods, something that is more than you. And once you understand that, you know, that you can't take it with you, and and karma will bring um, you know, a lot of good things to you, that all brings spirituality to you, serenity.

SPEAKER_00

Do you think, um do you think in the spiritual realm or space, wherever that is, wherever it is, the spiritual world, do you think there's good and evil?

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely. And I believe this this black matter they're just now finding out there, I think those are the souls that have no karma. They're I think this is just me talking. No, and I love the I love this conversation. Keep going. If all we are are vessels of energy, maybe we're here to build just like a battery. Maybe we're 2,000 space I see. Maybe we're here just to build up our energy to a positive that we don't need. This body anymore, we become energy. 2001 space odyssey. See? So when you die, energy I've been told you can't destroy it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, good. Um so I think that so let me ask you this. With Admiral Byrd, because there's there's actually a um in the 1952 Encyclopedia Americana, have you ever seen Admiral Byrd's report in there? Maybe.

SPEAKER_01

I haven't seen an encyclopedia in 30 years. Oh, I don't even know. Everything everything's on a computer's uh-huh. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So this was, you know, obviously before Google. And you probably can't get that report now. It's probably been classified or something. There's I'm sure it's it's wild. Oh, I'm telling you right now, it's pretty crazy. Definitely something crazy went up went on down there.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And you know, he brought his fleet back. And so what what do you think he saw? Do you do you think he do you think that maybe because I've heard the theory that you know maybe some alien race is in power globally here, and then that's their base, and then that's where they kind of, you know, the control mission, the control station or something? Do you think that's possible? Absolutely.

SPEAKER_01

That uh well, I'm I'm gonna here here's two things that I've been told has happened. Eisenhower was supposedly had meetings with aliens. And they came to a some kind of an agreement. I I don't know. But and then later on, Nixon, and this is why no president will never see a Nixon um Jackie Gleason was a avid UF UFO uh uh believer. Kind of sore, yeah, yeah. Nixon picked him up at Inverary here in Florida, took him to Homestead Air Force Base, and showed him pieces of UFO relics. Gleason went back, told his wife what amazing things he saw. She wrote about it in her diary. Well, that that from that point on, no president has ever been allowed uh, you know, but that that is something that uh yeah, so yeah, if you if yeah, if you got a race of people who are flying, you know, there's a photo on uh where it uh Google Earth where it shows a contrail from the South Pole to the North Pole. Now a contrail lasts you maybe 15 minutes. So if you're traveling that kind of uh anyway, but uh yeah. And and I mean and and if you read about Varner von Braun. Oh yeah. Yeah, and he said the Germans had help and uh and he never really elaborated on that. That uh did to get the uh jet engine up and going.

SPEAKER_00

So have you ever seen what's on his uh tombstone? No. This is an interesting one. This I'm just pulling out my phone.

SPEAKER_01

Wow, you're pretty up, Oh Huds.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I mean, I honestly I've been so focused on my business the past five or six years. Um, but you know, I was knee deep into this for a long time. You ever go to the pyramids? I have not.

SPEAKER_01

Well, if you tell me some civilization five thousand years ago, put those things up, I'll eat your shorts.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um so it just says the heavens, so it's basically a biblical scripture, Bible, Jesus Alien. Uh the heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament showeth his work, his handiwork. Psalms 19.1. The heavens declare the glory of God. So I think the way a lot of people interpret it is that even though he was a NASA's what was it, uh, director, is that right? That maybe it led him to understanding that, yeah, maybe maybe some aliens are God, but maybe he had a some type of not confrontation, but um who knows what that means. How do you interpret that?

SPEAKER_01

I I I wouldn't I wouldn't even start.

SPEAKER_00

Offline, I'm gonna tell you what I think, because I think if I tell you what I think, I don't think this podcast gets out there. Okay. I'll tell you offline. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I will tell you this. NASA has the only patent on a biblical structure. What's that? Ezekiel's wheel. The orbiting spacecraft was designed off of Ezekiel's wheel. Wow. Yeah. And and you ask many people, they've they have no idea what the book of Enoch is.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. That was left out of the New Testament. The Book of Enoch was the main the main guy for hundreds of years. Yeah. Yeah. And the Romans left that guy out.

SPEAKER_00

There's a lot of it's really fascinating. There's a lot of weird stuff going on. You know, it sounds like another race coming down from the heavens.

SPEAKER_01

You know, there's a book out, they walk among us. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So, yeah. If you're a superior race, you you you're not gonna have any problem blending in. Of course, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Shapeshifters, you believe in shapeshifters?

SPEAKER_01

Why not? Yeah, all things if you're a race that's billions of years old, you're you're way ahead of the curve. Yeah, you got more than the iPhone for sure. That's right. Yeah, no doubt. And and when you go through history and find out all the inventions and things that came to people in dreams, you know, where does knowledge come from? You know, do these people just wake up one day and say, oh, we're gonna build this pyramid. Knowledge.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, I think um so I I have an interesting theory. Tell me if you agree or disagree with this. I I I won't never disagree. Okay. I have a theory. So something uh my wife has great intuition, and usually her intuition is about a person. This person's good for us, this person's bad for us. Do business with this person, don't do business with this person. And what I've come to realize is that she's always right. Always right. A hundred she's batting a hundred percent.

SPEAKER_01

That's intuition.

SPEAKER_00

And so when I think of intuition, I I I really started to break that down. Where is that coming from? I I don't believe it's internal. I think we want to believe it's internal, but I believe something, some higher power, when we say we have intuition, I think something is communicating with us.

SPEAKER_01

Well, we're all giving off energy. And if you can, if you have a receptor of people's energy, you know, it could be bad or good energy, you you got an intuition.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Okay, so you're saying it could be person to person, not necessarily God or alien to person. It could be we're feeling each other's energy.

SPEAKER_01

Everything, everything's possible.

SPEAKER_00

No doubt. See, I'm like you.

SPEAKER_01

You don't know what you don't know. And once you once you start once you start laying down, you know, walls, and this is where it this is where it way it is, you've closed doors.

SPEAKER_00

So do you believe that Jesus is who he said he was? Is he the son of God?

SPEAKER_01

If you read the Sumerian text long before Jesus and long before Mary, by by the way, supposedly Mary's mother was also giv was gave virgin birth. Now, according to the Sumerian text, in order to have a hybrid alien uh human, you had to have pure blood, pure whatever, blah blah blah. And when the angels came down, it's written in biblical, came down and inseminated her. Well, it's possible that's exactly what they did.

SPEAKER_00

Do you ever listen to Tucker Carlson at all? No, no.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I have just to listen to him and everything, but for the most part uh too extreme, too fixed in in one idea and no wavering. That's not healthy.

SPEAKER_00

The only reason I ask, not not if you're a fan of him, but he's obviously a public figure. So because he's a public figure and in the media, he will get a lot of people that reach out to him that are in high places. So he does have access to information. Just like Trump has access to information, just like um I'm sure Mark Cuban has access to some information. Yeah, you could you name name the name the billionaire, name the political person left or right. Yeah, they probably have more access to information to mirror you. Absolutely. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

And they probably even have access to information they're not supposed to because you have a quote unquote whistleblower, right? That's seeking them out for whatever reason. Okay. Yeah. That's the only reason I bring it up. Yeah. So he on Joe Rogan's podcast, you should you should watch that.

SPEAKER_01

I think are we talking about UFOs now? Yes. Okay. Yes. Well, how that's sort of old, right? Okay. How many, how many weeks old was that now? That's been a while. Oh, that podcast? Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, it's about a year old. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Right now, since Trump is ordered to have the uh files released for uh these UAFs or whatever they're called. I haven't heard of the up uh update yet, but the general who's in charge of uh he was in charge of Wright Patterson. Uh a lot of the uh not blue book now, he's missing.

SPEAKER_00

Really?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And and you don't hear him on the news at some it's a general. Yeah, yeah. He's missing. He was in uh where was Albuquerque, New Mexico, I think, and they can't find him. Wow. And you don't hear that on the news. I mean, I heard that on uh and maybe it's fake news. But uh I I picked it up the other day, and you know, so but nowadays you don't know what's fake or what's real.

SPEAKER_00

Well, the only reason they bring up Tucker is he has a fascinating view, it's worth a watch. Yeah. He he he was talking about the alien ships he can confirm, and he's seen the tape where you know they're going 500 miles an hour through water and doing all these crazy movements. Our satellites can't even or sonar can't even keep up with them.

SPEAKER_01

We were told in Iceland don't even report them. We were we're on a scope. That scope is 500 miles, 250, and this isn't classified stuff. This is this is old, old radar, 1966. Okay, so it's not classified. Yeah. But when you see a blip on one side of your radar, and that that thing go circles around one time, that blip has traveled 500 miles in 32. No, no, that that just can't be. And we we told don't don't even report it.

SPEAKER_00

He he said he is of the opinion they're angels and demons. Yeah, why not? Yeah, he he called them supernatural and he basically said, I thought this was fascinating, just a cool opinion, not saying it's true, yeah, that the ones coming from the water were basically demons, and the ones coming from up top are angels.

SPEAKER_01

And there's a I don't know how he can uh you know, come on. If you can c if you can circumnavigate the universe, you can certainly have a craft that's gonna go through water. Yeah. So, you know, and and so it's it's to me, I have an opinion it's more of a convenience than than anything else. Yeah. That uh they you don't want to be seen, you go in in two, three, four hundred feet of water and and hunker down and uh relax.

SPEAKER_00

I you know, I love I love when I get on these uh podcasts and I'm sitting here thinking we're gonna talk about monolithic concrete, and then we get into such a fascinating.

SPEAKER_01

Well, concrete is not environment, uh no more concrete. Concrete's bad for the planet.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Metal quantit huts. That's the future of homes. Take all the take all the junk metal on the planet, recycle it into panels, and build homes that produce more energy than they're using. No homeowners insurance. Built in one week.

SPEAKER_00

So unpack that. So how how do these homes produce more energy than they consume?

SPEAKER_01

Foam insulation. Roofing foam insulation. At one time in Kissimmee, Florida, if you Google it, there was, and there's still a home in Colorado, I think, called Xanadu. X-A-N D A U. Completely built out of foam. No wood, no metal, six, eight inches of foam. Now, foam back that time was very toxic, so they quit doing it. But today they have water-based foam. But when you put foam on the outside of your home, your energy use goes down by 70%, because now you've created a confined space. There is no air leaks. So now it takes half to three-quarters of energy to heat and cool your home. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So what about the insulation? And and once again, I'm not a contractor. I don't what about the insulation we use today?

SPEAKER_01

Is that No, that's just that's just greed. That's obsolete. That's antiquated. That's log cabin stuff. Yeah. Okay. No, no. You you the the goal to save planet Earth should be get off of fossil fuels. We're killing people. We're going to war. For why? Oil. We've been doing it for hundreds of years. Well, not hundreds of years. We've been doing it for years. And we have the ability, but greed prevents inner v innovation. We have the ability to build homes that are tornado-proof, and and high homeown insurance goes away. Homes that produce more energy than being used, uh, fossil fuels, no more fighting over f oil, and composting toilets. Nobody talks about the future of fecal home human fecal disposal, composting toilets. You every three, four months, you take your compost out in your garden and you put it on the garden. Yeah. But nobody talks about that because of greed. Utility companies don't want you to know about how you can process your own poop. Right.

SPEAKER_00

And save planet Earth. So do you think that is are you of the opinion that the reason we're in Iran is all because of oil? Absolutely. And Venezuela.

SPEAKER_01

All an oil play. Greed. And war. War creates billionaires.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, big money. Yeah, who was it? Uh Cheney just happened to be the back in the day, right? VP of Halburton. Like, come on. Oh. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And and people just don't learn. They it seems like they they P. T. Bottom. People have to read P. T. Bottom. You just can't believe everything people are telling you. Yeah. I agree.

SPEAKER_00

Tell them what they want to hear and you and and vote for me. Let me let me let me ask you this, because I wonder I think we're aligned on so many things. We might disagree on some things too. All good. Healthy conversation. Do you think that when someone becomes a president, whether it's Trump or Biden or Obama, whoever it is, do you think they're actually in the know? Or they or is the control and reach so deep from oil companies, these tech companies, banks, you know, these giant conglomerate institutions. Do you think they have their fingerprints so deep that when you become the president, it's just you're just kind of taking orders like, oh, okay, all right, I gotta do this? Like, do you think they're part of the more our president is a figurehead?

SPEAKER_01

Our country run is run by Congress and the Senate. That's why, you know, when they complain, oh Biden never got anything done, it never got anything done, because there was a party that could vetoing everything. You know, health care. Well, our you know, now you can a president can be a you know uh a motivator, but when it comes down to passing laws for the people, you better have a Congress and a Senate that's gonna back you and and do that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I ask I ask people all the time, tell me one bill that the Republican Party has put out for their common man. Give me one, because they fought Social Security, they they they fought the minimum wage, they're they they definitely don't want you to have health care. Uh so give me give me a bill that that party has put out for the American people. Tell me one. And and I and I I get people staring at me. Big beautiful bill. What about you know? Okay. Yeah. What's how's that helped the m how again, how's that helping the average American person? They they took took away the health care.

SPEAKER_00

Wasn't um no no taxes on tips in there?

SPEAKER_01

Isn't that oh uh so you know more than I do.

SPEAKER_00

It's okay.

SPEAKER_01

No, I don't. No, yeah. I don't know the nuts and bolts of it's okay. Neither do I. Uh all I know is when uh people need health care and all these other countries have health care, we don't.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's pretty absurd.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And and then and why two parties can't anyway.

SPEAKER_00

Are you on social media at all?

SPEAKER_01

Are you uh yes. So tick me.

SPEAKER_00

Are you on TikTok at all?

SPEAKER_01

Oh no. No. I'm I got LinkedIn, alignable, Facebook periodically, YouTube is my you know, I got 3,000 videos on YouTube. The ri the real David Preston. No, let's go. YouTube. Yeah, yeah. So uh, but no, I'm not uh I I'm I'm too old to get into these new gizmos, you know. I I'm barely able to use a phone.

SPEAKER_00

Really? You got a ton of energy. I love it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

On Earth Years? Yes. Yeah, yeah. 79. You look great. March 6th. God bless you. You look great. Yeah, good for you, man. When's the last time you've been to the eye doctor?

SPEAKER_00

Me?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Never. Well, maybe you better go.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think you're giving yourself enough credit. You know, I like seeing your energy. 70, like I it frustrates. I'm 45. Ooh. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no, no, no, talk away, too.

SPEAKER_00

Is uh just starting to hit the pain button. Is that what it is? Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I just crossed over. Okay. It's a middle-aged. I wish I could remember 45. Okay. Yeah. I married a 10-year-old younger woman. That's why I'm in where I am. Yeah. Yeah. Good for you. She keeps me.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm 16 years difference. So she's 29, I'm 45. And we're in love. Oh, wow. Great relationship. Yeah. Can I brag? Can I show you my wife? Yeah. She's also my uh big dog. She got clothes on. Oh, dirty dog. Dirt I knew you're a dirty dog back in there. Uh, but this is I mean. I mean, we have um, I would argue we have pretty much a model relationship. I mean, we're very healthy. We work through all our problems. No, you look healthy. I appreciate it. Thank you. But I mean, I mean, she's uh I'm trying to show you that's her. I'm so blessed. And she's beautiful on the inside, outside. Oh, sweetie. She's smart, she's she's assertive. Yeah, and oh yeah, and and extremely hot. But um, there's a there's a decent picture of her. Oh, wow. Yeah, she's amazing. And uh we're having keep working. No, no doubt. I'm not a dummy. I'm no fool. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, but it's my duty. Yeah, I don't look at it as I go, yeah, she better keep working, stay fit.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she has all that intuition and she's still married.

SPEAKER_00

Exactly. Yeah, we'll see. She doesn't know the dark side yet. Um let's um I want I I really want to talk about the business. Yeah. Um, you know, are you are you looking for new clients today?

SPEAKER_01

Are you I'm investing in other people? Well, okay. Let me I got irons in the fire. They the portable bunker. Okay. For eight years, I've been reaching out on every social media, startups, entrepreneurs, uh, brokers who want the only business in America. Now, if you believe that memberships for all those things, I've probably contacted five million people telling them I got the only product in America certified by the most the two most stringent agencies in America that I'll put, I'll I'll invest in you and you nobody.

SPEAKER_00

Wow.

SPEAKER_01

Now, in Florida, I have over 25 vacant lots. I'm offering homes, no homeowners' insurance, and I'm financing them. I'm educating, I have to educate people what a concert hut is. Yes, you do. Yeah. So that's uh that's where I'm at. My mission in life is uh invest in other people and change the way homes are built on planet Earth.

SPEAKER_00

So, you know, I side note, I I own a digital marketing company, not just a podcast. Where my brain immediately goes is stuff like this right here is is the best way to do it.

SPEAKER_01

I've been I'm on, like I said, I with offering uh well the the I guess my uh my quantit huts, uh no homeowners insurance, producing more energy than being used is getting a lot of traction because I'm getting uh um requests for podcasts all a lot, but I can't I uh yeah, I I just scheduling becomes an issue.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and so uh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You can um, you know, I I look at social media, you can either be a consumer of it, right? And just mindless watching videos, you know, looking at hot girls like my wife, right? You can you can be up when you're yeah. Um you have my permission, it's all good. Um so you can either be a consumer of it, right, and be part of the um what what do you call it? Sheeple, right? People, sheeple, or you can be a creator of it and use it to your advantage, use it to your benefit, whether that's uh educating, promoting, marketing, training. Yeah, right. So that that's how I look at it.

SPEAKER_01

I'm really not that's that's what I'm I'm I'm going with my attorney's advice. I'm throwing the mud against the wall and see what sticks.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So uh but no, I I TikTok, I I can just focus on just so many websites and so many social medias, and once I get into four or five of them, you know, that's that's my limit. So here's what's cool.

SPEAKER_00

I want to help you out, and this is good for the for the audience to kind of know. So um, you know, so I I run a digital marketing company, right? So um if I go on TikTok right now or Instagram or Facebook, any if I go on any social media platform and I start scrolling and looking at different videos and pictures, it knows me better than I know myself. Okay? So what you're gonna see there are all my hobbies. You know, I like uh sports, you know, I don't know. Uh you're not a scuba diver. No, I'm not a scuba diver exactly. So it's not gonna send me scuba diver stuff, but it's gonna send me football stuff or basketball stuff. But it also will send me uh business advice or you know, personal development, just things I'm interested in. Okay. Okay, it's not gonna send me fucking planting. It's not gonna send me because it knows what I'm interested in. Yeah, yeah. Algorithm, yeah, yeah, yeah. Exactly. Yep. So so the cool part about marketing on social media is if you put in and dial in a program, there are people out there that would be very interested in your product or service, whatever you have. Social media can find them. But but that's what I've been doing.

SPEAKER_01

I've been doing that for at least seven years. Okay. Go into the like LinkedIn. And you go to and here's what amazing. That wouldn't be the place to do it.

SPEAKER_00

It would be Facebook and Instagram.

SPEAKER_01

And here's here's yeah, I think Instagram I've been and uh now a lionable, I've been on that too. Yeah, but here's the amazing thing I find out. Well, right away, the first thing I did was go to business brokers. Yeah. Now, uh in my mind, in my uneducated mind, yeah, having the only business in America, I thought a business broker would just gobble and be beating up at my door. The very first sentence out of a business broker's mouth, what's your profit and loss?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What about my product? Oh, we don't care about your product. That's true. Yeah. Now, you would think an entrepreneur or a startup guy would say, Wow, that's the only product in America? Cassio Watch. Cassio Watch went to the Swiss watchmakers. You know what a Casio watch is? Of course. Digital. Yeah. Swiss watchmakers told those Americans, take your toy watch back to America. We've been doing watches for hundreds of years. Now, guess what happened to the Swiss watch industry? Yeah. Yeah. Because they couldn't recognize the value of a product. See? And when a broker tell asked me, I'm going to retire since 2010. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Well, they I think to my knowledge, they just want to invest the capital and not build the business.

SPEAKER_01

That's that's right. They're not looking for a business to invest in. No. They're they're just looking flip or whatever.

SPEAKER_00

They just want to put the money in, oh, it's growing, you need the money to grow. Yeah, I don't. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So that's but when you see groups that say they have over 200,000 people, startups and entrepreneurs in their group, and you've been hitting those groups for five years and not getting any response. I mean, it just what are I don't know what people are looking for. Well, we gotta make some sales. Well, you know what will happen? Yeah. Next Cat 6 hurricane, maybe this year, yeah, hit South Florida, and you can't run away from a hurricane that's 800 miles wide. You're not gonna do it. Yeah. And then on that, you're not gonna be able to come back to your house. So that's when the demand, that's when that's when uh they'll be beating a path of my door. How much does a uh one of these 8,000 plus delivery? A one-time lifetime purchase?

SPEAKER_00

That's not bad at all.

SPEAKER_01

It costs$3,000 to build.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. So you got some margin there for sure.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah. I got ten of them sitting at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The government couldn't find it couldn't find a bunker, uh a portable bunker that could house the military guys when that tornado was coming. So you sold it to Fort Sill or what's that? You sold them to Fort Sill? Yeah, I got I have the only GSA schedule in America certified by my Department of War and Miami Miami Dade County certification is any good anywhere in America, including Hawaii.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Have you thought about trying to sell it to government or military or they they don't they don't get into production, they they do so they put bids out. That's what they do. They don't they're not in the building. They they put bids out. So but yeah, I uh I've been out there, uh I've contacted GSA purchasing agents. Uh I don't know what to tell you. I do you need sales. Huh? You need sales. No, I I'm not I see what I need is someone who will carry on the product. That's what I'm looking for. I'm not doing anything anymore. I'm I'm on my way out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah. You got a few years left.

SPEAKER_01

Well according to my wife, my insurance runs out in four years.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. That's when I have to kick the bucket.

SPEAKER_00

You shut it down? Just gonna call it.

SPEAKER_01

No, my life, my life insurance runs out in four years. So uh yeah. So she wants the money.

SPEAKER_00

Gotcha. I no, I get it. Yeah. So you gotta shut. I was saying shut it down the day before. Hey. Like, honey, it was nice to be. Happy wife, happy life.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. No, no, I'm looking, I'm not looking to do any more work other and I'm not even the houses I'm not even doing. I mean, all I'm doing is writing a check to people who want to do owner builder. But no, I'm investing in people who want their own business. I'm not taking orders. I got two demos up in Cocoa, uh, two domes that put someone in business in Cocoa Beach right now, and I can't find anybody. But like I said, when that when it happened when it's meant to happen, it'll happen. And this this might this uh cast podcast might be the uh catalyst.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I I hope it is. Um you know, after decades in the business, is is there something you're most proud of that you've accomplished?

SPEAKER_01

Saved lives. I had a woman after Hurricane Aline. Here's an omen. Six weeks after I delivered the first safe dome to West Palm Beach, Florida, the Eye of Wilma went down that street. Those people were in that dome, 150 mile an hour continuous wind for seven hours. Wow. They told the television people they didn't even know it was a hurricane outside. There are five of those domes in that neighborhood now. Wow. Yeah. And then just recently a woman called and and you could you could tell she was crying. Uh it brings a tear to my eye when I'm talking about this, that a tornado went right over her dome from Hurricane Helene. Saved your life.

SPEAKER_00

How does that make you feel?

SPEAKER_01

Good. It gives you a a purpose in life, you know. Having a purpose in life is uh a good thing.

SPEAKER_00

I agree. I think I think it's it's tough to find sometimes, you know. I think uh and then I think I think I I have a um I have a position in life. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. But if like I'm good at sales, marketing, business, I'm good at generating income and revenue, that's my skill set, right? Running a business, I stink at. So I need to hire really good people to help me run the business, but growing a business, I'm good at. So if I if you saw uh a five foot four, 150-pound man beating the you know what out of a four foot eleven, eighty-pound woman on the side street just beating her senselessly, and then you see a six foot eight, three hundred and fifty-pound man walk by and not do anything, what do you think of that larger statured butt man?

SPEAKER_01

Bad thoughts.

SPEAKER_00

You're a coward. Say whatever insult you want to say because what you're thinking is is the pos the sp you have a duty there.

SPEAKER_01

You can just but that's you know, we but that's only what you're seeing. See? It could be that that four-foot-old woman just killed his daughter. And she was getting desserved, maybe, to get beat up.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. I love it. No, no, and that's a very fair statement.

SPEAKER_01

You know, or maybe he just carved You're only seeing a segment of of of what's happening.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Well, let's go let's go with what actually happened. But I love it. No, no, it's fair.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but let's say um No, no, I I would uh and I'd have and if I was there, you know, I I would say, hey, yeah, I I might even have to yell out something. Come on, it's big man.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's your responsibility, right? So let's go with uh she's not cheating on the guy, okay? He was cheating on her, so he decided to be her own. Okay. So but but I I just use that little example here and there because I do think that some of us have a responsibility to help people.

SPEAKER_01

And what's happening today, people are turning their heads.

SPEAKER_00

Exactly. That's exactly my point.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So I think I believe you can find fulfillment in that help, too, is my point. Right? You can f right. So there's there if if you if you genuinely handout, whether it's financially, emotionally, spiritually, uh Dome home.

SPEAKER_01

I'll tell you again, my business is a business for good. Yeah. We're buying mobile homes, raggedy old mobile homes, but they're on land, and we're fixing them up for those people who need a place to live. Yeah. You know?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And and and so we're we're trying to uh help people.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

What are uh someone wanted to explore you know, building one of these homes potentially, like, like what's what's the first step?

SPEAKER_01

First step is des make it what design you want. And oh no. First step is what lot you want to build it on.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Because each lot has a value. And unfortunately, the weather up north of Florida land has just gone up another ten thousand dollars.

SPEAKER_00

For sure.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, 80% of people retire to Florida.

SPEAKER_00

This is uh I want you to do me a favor, and I want you to take your time here, you know, a solid minute or two. Um, I want to wrap up, but what I want you to do is I want you to look into that camera, David. Okay. And I want you in closing, um, if someone really wanted to explore this, yeah, you know, what's one final message you can leave with our audience? And if they really wanted to do their due diligence and research, you know, building one of these homes, where where should they do their research and where can they find one of these opportunities?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. Um, well, first of all, let me tell you. Only by change can you get to the future. Now, safedomes.com is my website. And if you Google Quantsa Hut Homes, Q U O N S E T Hut, H-U-T, Hutt Homes, you'll get a lot of information on the history of Quant Huts. And then uh foam insulation. You read about foam insulation, you'll see all the miraculous things that foam insulation does. And if you're, you know, at safed domes.com, we we got vacant lots, and we're going to change the way homes are being built, hopefully on planet Earth.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that was awesome, uh, David. This was this was fun. Um, guys, thanks again for tuning into the Gold Coast Podcast. You know, we're talking to business people and um incredible entrepreneurs, but more importantly, uh people that are trying to change the world for the better. And David, this was awesome, man. And and I, you know, you never know where you're gonna get in the Gold Coast podcast. We got a little conspiracy, a little aliens, but uh more importantly, I think I made a friend.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, I I love you. I love you. Let's do it again. When I got a house built, I'll bring in some videos and photos.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we can we can do some cool stuff with that on social media. Thanks again for tuning in to the Gold Coast Podcast. Make sure to like and subscribe. We'll see you again.
