story of Moses in the book of Exodus, we look at Moses encountering the burning bush. 00:04:06.719 --> 00:04:20.720 We only read a segment of the story last week, but we see Moses has his eyes opened where he learns a game-changing blessing as he moves forward under the leadership of the Almighty God. 00:04:20.959 --> 00:04:24.879 I want to recount that story just so we're up to speed for where 00:10:54.559 It says this, then Moses said to God, Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I will say to them, the God of your fathers has sent me to you. 00:10:55.200 --> 00:10:59.360 Now they may say to me, What is his name? 00:10:59.600 --> 00:11:01.279 Can you say what is his name? 00:11:03.360 --> 00:11:05.279 What shall I say to them? 00:11:05.759 --> 00:11:10.480 And God said to of Moses' conversation reveals Moses' lack of understanding and knowledge of who God is. 00:11:31.759 --> 00:11:38.720 It's here that Moses discovers that his God is more than just a fairy tale. 00:11:40.080 --> 00:11:42.399 God is more than just a religion. 00:11:42.639 --> 00:11:52.879 Moses would have probably heard stories from his mother as a child, but here Moses begins to experience the impossible. 00:14:35.519 --> 00:14:41.279 And now Shepherd Moses, who's not good at speaking, which we see in Scripture. 00:14:41.840 --> 00:14:58.240 Moses has been given the task to lead the Israelites out of Egypt after 400 plus years of bondage, and then take them to a land flowing with milk and honey, who has a bunch of other people living in it already. 00:14:58.639 --> 00:15:00.320 that Moses speaks with the Israelites, then makes his first appearance before Pharaoh. 00:16:30.639 --> 00:16:35.440 And I want you to watch what unfolds through the next few chapters, if you follow Pharaoh, the greatest ruler at the time, this is what the Lord the God says, and this is what they're saying to him, let my people go so that they may celebrate a feast to me in the wilderness.
