This Podcast Is Problematic
Welcome to This Podcast Is Problematic — the podcast that will probably get us cancelled… and honestly, we’re okay with that.
We talk about pop culture, fake friendships, daily life, and the kind of opinions people usually keep in the group chat. Nothing is off limits, nobody is safe, and if it’s messy, controversial, or a little uncomfortable… we’re definitely talking about it.
We say what everyone else is thinking but is too scared to say out loud. Some people will laugh, some people will be offended, and some people will probably write angry comments. Either way, we’re still hitting record.
If you’re sensitive, easily offended, or looking for politically perfect conversations… this is not the podcast for you.
But if you like chaos, honesty, a little shade, and a lot of unfiltered opinions, Welcome to This Podcast Is Problematic.

Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
My co-host breaks down the moment everything went left—working with a friend who not only did her bogus but dipped without a word, leaving her to clean up the mess and look crazy in the process. From workplace betrayal to friendship fallout, we’re unpacking every shady detail and asking the real question: how far is too far for attention, sympathy, or an easy exit?
Hey guys, welcome back to a brand new episode of Problematics. Sam is back, y'all. Sam is finally back. She was she spent a few nights at a at a hospital. So thank you, Sam, for joining me back in, you know, in the real world.
SPEAKER_02I don't know nothing to say to make it convincing.
SPEAKER_01About what? That you're in a mental hospital for a second?
SPEAKER_02Wait, you can't leave a mental house.
SPEAKER_01Yes, you fucking can. You left. How'd you do it? I was gonna say you would know. How did you do it, Sam? Huh? How did you kill him, Sam? I don't know. Tell me the truth right now. What did you do? Where's the body, Sam? At least I didn't have to kill you. Thank you guys for joining us and a brand new episode. Sam has been gone for weeks, and I know you guys have been, you know, wanting her back. Here she is. I mean, she's a little like tired right now. Okay, let's just get down to the nitty and gritty. Oh, yeah. First of all, your energy right now is like so low. I need you like to pump it up.
SPEAKER_02Look, bitch, I got some things to say. So let's guess get it poppin'.
SPEAKER_01You guys, Sam has something to say. Sam. Sam, tell us about what's been happening. And don't leave anything else. Name names and call them by how they look.
SPEAKER_02So let me take you guys back. So there was a girl. Me and her end up getting very close.
SPEAKER_01So close. Lesbians almost.
unknownRight?
SPEAKER_02Oh no, not even close. And I've been there for her through thick and thin. All her fucking stupid relationship dramas when they kidnapped her at one point and was just treating her like garbage. Wait, she was the one. I was the one checking in. And then was there for her through everything. I even got her a job to work with me where I'm at. Never said anything when she would always call off. Because you know, a lot of people don't like to come to work. And tell me why. Like last week, I guess she calls off for work. Oh no, I'm sorry, no, she didn't even call off of work. She did a no-call no show. And because, you know, everyone knows that's my friend, they want to ask me, you know, what's wrong? Is everything okay? What's going on? This is why I don't like getting my so-called son's jobs with me. Because I don't like the responsibility of if they're fucking up, it's on me. Mind you though, I had to help cover her shifts because she just disappeared. She said that her brother passed away to my boss.
SPEAKER_01Oh, Present Peace.
SPEAKER_02Sent a text message and said that she couldn't call her because she was so shooken up and she was so heartbroken that her brother passed away, yada yada yada.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_02She didn't call me and tell me nothing.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_02But I was like, you know what? Maybe she just doesn't want to tell me.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02I don't hold that against nobody. No, it's cool.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02You could she'll open up and tell me when she wants to. But when I heard it from my boss that she doesn't even like that she talks shit about, I mean, it was just a little wild. Okay. She used to talk shit about her all the time. But she goes and reached out to her first. And I know people are gonna say, Well, yeah, that's your boss. She has to. No, she could have reached out to anyone else. But she did it to her, which is cool. So then, you know, I reached out to her. I sent her a text message saying, you know, I'm so sorry if that happened. Let me know if you need anything. I'm here for you. Just how I was for everyone else that's passed away, you know, with her, whatever. And she didn't respond to me. So I'm like, okay, maybe she needs a day or two.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Understandable. Still nothing. On fucking Facebook, her fiance or whatever you want to call it, keeps tagging her in posts, saying, Oh, I'm at lovely dinner with the love of my life. Another night they were taking pictures when they went out and they look pretty damn happy.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_02I mean, go girlfriend. But for someone that claims that she was so heartbroken and devastated that her brother just passed away, how are you out happy going on dates and just making it look like you're living life? It don't make no sense.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_02So I sent her another message and I was like, hey. I mean, I don't know. Everyone at work said that she was lying. And of course, I'm her friend, so I didn't want to believe it. I'm like, no, I think it's real. Even though that was weird to me, I still thought it was real. Then somebody pointed out to me one of her brothers on Facebook. And he had posted a video or something, and he looks alive and well.
SPEAKER_01Oh, the brother.
SPEAKER_02I guess it was that one. And he was alive and kicking. And this is why I said it was the weird part. So when I reached out to her, I'm like, hey, you know, we're supposed to do like a seven to seven that we agreed to do for work. I was like, let me know so that way I don't stay till seven, thinking you're coming in, and then you just don't show up, and then it screws me over. Never said anything. So I was two steps ahead of her. So I had got that covered. But I think that's pretty bogus. You couldn't even tell me at least you weren't coming in. I would have been sitting there like an asshole. So still nothing. So then I kind of called it out and I said, that's shit is weird as fuck. Basically, you're claiming that your brother passed. But didn't tell me anything, which I don't, you know, if you don't want to tell me, you don't want to tell me. But then you would have screwed me over the night that we were supposed to do a double. And then you screwed everyone else with your schedule because you just stopped showing up. You made me look bad at work because here I am sticking up for you. And people are showing me all these posts that you're being tagged in and about your damn brother.
unknownOh, wow.
SPEAKER_02So I look like the asshole now, because now I'm defending you. But here they're throwing me proof and photos and everything. And you couldn't at least tell me, like, hey, I'm gonna say this and that, but you know, what I'm saying to tumble on my words because I'm so angry.
SPEAKER_01Just you know.
SPEAKER_02I'm not angry about what she did. I'm angry about what she did last night.
SPEAKER_01Oh, what did she do?
SPEAKER_02So after after I had sent her a text saying, like, you're a liar, whatever, blah, blah, blah. She blocked me on all social medias, I guess. It took like a couple days for me to figure it out.
SPEAKER_01Damn.
SPEAKER_02Because then I was like, let me send her a message on social media. Maybe she blocked me on text messages.
SPEAKER_01I hate when a bitch blocked me.
SPEAKER_02But I couldn't find her. Block.
SPEAKER_01Block.
SPEAKER_02So I'm like, damn, I must have hit a court with her. I don't even block people I don't like.
SPEAKER_01That's fucking crazy. I want you to see what I'm doing. No, that is for real.
SPEAKER_02So she texted my boss yesterday, like a lame ass bitch. And she's like, Samantha talks bad about you, and she envies you, and she hates you. So obviously, my boss is Team Sam. So my boss was being a smart ass, and she was just like, Really? Oh my goodness, what did she say? Spill the T, piping hot.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, the message you tell me.
SPEAKER_02And she's yeah, and she's just going on saying, like, you shouldn't trust her. Like, she's just mean, whatever. Mind you, she did this through a text-free app or whatever.
SPEAKER_01Blame as bitch, scary as bitch. So she says on a message that I see right now. She says you're lazy and the liar and talks about all the staff. Stop trusting her. She talks too much. She envies you. Okay, yeah, pretty much.
SPEAKER_02And then my boss was laughing.
SPEAKER_01She's like, oh my god, girl.
SPEAKER_02She's like, she's like, oh, I love an envier. How flattering. Tell me more.
SPEAKER_01Or should we talk about you for a second?
SPEAKER_02She's all pissy faces. Like I said, my boss is Team Sam.
SPEAKER_01Your boss is actually a right or die because I fucking love what she wrote right here.
SPEAKER_02Tell her what they wrote.
SPEAKER_01Your boss is like, shall we talk about you for a sec? Question mark. How you no call no show on the job, or how you steal money from people. Hmm. I can't decide which more's interesting. She looks like a B she B she's. See the second part. Wait, hold on, where is it? Oh. Or how your little fiancee boy does shit for work. Oh, baby, you forgot how people, I know people too, especially people in the kitchen at other facilities. Oh, whoa.
SPEAKER_02And then she tried to pretend that it wasn't her, and she's like, What? I'm not sure of what you're talking about. You lost me. And then my boss was like, So who is this then? Don't be shy. Hey, tell it to my face, man up.
SPEAKER_01Anyway.
SPEAKER_02And then she responds where I thought I was doing you a favor, but good night. I have no clue of what you're talking about. Good night. You lost me being disrespectful. And my boss says, until then.
SPEAKER_01You're a loser with no life.
SPEAKER_02And she put, okay, cool.
SPEAKER_01Oh. It's like, it's like, first of all. And wait, hold on. So you texted that fake number that she was texting you from then, right? Yes, this morning. Yes, is it the one you sent me? Like you're a losy ass bitch? Yes. Oh wow. I love that.
SPEAKER_02So I had put I texted the number this morning because I thought it was hilarious. I wasn't gonna do it because then it makes it seem like I care. Yeah. But everyone knows you don't disrespect me. I don't care. Not for real. That's one thing.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna get the last word. That's one thing about you, Sam. Like everybody who was listening, don't fuck with Sam. Because she literally, like, it's kind of like kind of like me. It's just like no one fucks with me and gets away with it. It's pretty much like you. No one fucks with you and they get away with it. No, you get the last laugh, you get the last word. Don't fuck with you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Anything. So I texted her. You're a loser ass bitch. Try again, girl. Keep my name out of your mouth before I shut it for you. You should know better. Scary ass. You love me that much. You gotta talk about me. Shit sad. And envy, laugh out loud. Never that. Apparently, you envy me. And I'm like, laugh my ass off. Next time I'll be at your door. Don't play with me. Don't play with me. And then all she responded was, messy bitch. So then I said, You dumb fuck, you better watch yourself. You're a joke. And then I called it right away. Yeah. And I guess she blocked it right away.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_02Cause then I sent to her, You're a lame ass bitch. You went out of your way to try to talk shit. And now you got everyone at laugh, laughing at you. You're a messy bitch. I ain't playing with your ass. I will be at your door. So be careful with your sad and miserable ass life. Because now everyone at work is laughing at her. Well, people at work didn't like her as it was. She had like three incidents, two of them wanted to like fight her. But of course, you know, being a good friend that I was, I'm like, no, that's my girl.
SPEAKER_01Don't do that. This should have whooped her ass. And you for being stupid. I swear. That ass. And I'll be crying about it too. But yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like I said, I just had to send her that message. Because I don't know who she thought. She thought she was gonna get away with it. And she still thinks you're she's in the clear. And it's like it's just crazy because my boss was team seeing them. She sent me those messages right away. And how we knew it was her ass is because for one, she's you know when people try to text different to make it seem like it's not them. That's the lamest shit ever, for one. But you know how you could put the phone number and Cash App? You know what? Nothing popped up. I I've never tried that.
SPEAKER_01I never tried that.
SPEAKER_02It works. Nothing popped up. And when you called it, you you there's like you could tell it was one of those text-free numbers. And then the third red flag was nobody can really have manager phone numbers at work. The only ones that can have like the manager's number her department is if those are your specific teams, worker teams. So my boss is in charge of the receptionist. There's only five of us. Who else is gonna text her phone number?
SPEAKER_01No, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Wow. Everyone loves me at work, so that's why she fucked up with that one.
SPEAKER_01And besides, everyone secretly hates you.
SPEAKER_02I know supposed I don't know. Everyone loves it's like Party City. Everyone just loves me. And then another thing that was another red flag. She didn't want to say who she was. She could have texted my boss from her own number and been like, hey, this is you know, this and Sam talk shit about you or said you're a liar or whatever. But that just tells me that's how scared you are. You don't want me to know that it was you. Scary ass.
SPEAKER_01Wow. So that was my That's that's insane that that, you know, it was unfortunate. This is why, you know, it helping you can't trust nobody. Yeah, and helping friends, like, you know, I don't know. I I I would never I could if if I had known you for like years and years, then maybe I'll consider, you know, helping you like at a job, you know, if I'm at there, you know, whatever, but I don't know. Right, which is what I did with her. But look what happened. She just turned on you and just like disappeared.
SPEAKER_02Within seconds, not even within like days. Like you went like you didn't even have to text our boss nothing. And she still did. So you went out of your way. Mind you, she's been fired for like since since last week. Oh, okay. And you're gonna send that message to my boss, and that don't even make sense because she's the one that hated my boss.
SPEAKER_01You know, we should have used it.
SPEAKER_02Oh, guess no. It gets better.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02So like I said, everyone loves me at work. Everyone tells me everything. Her fiance worked up another location in the kitchen. So the manager at the store told me we fired the fiance like two days ago.
SPEAKER_01What the fuck?
SPEAKER_02So now look, both of you guys don't have a job.
SPEAKER_01At all.
SPEAKER_02I didn't even have to do anything. God did it for me.
SPEAKER_01Well, lying about somebody dying, that's fucked up. That is like bringing bad omens to somebody.
SPEAKER_02It's just like And see, that's the thing though. I still try to believe her. I was sticking up for at work, saying, No, I think it's true. I think it might have really happened. And I was even telling people that wanted to jump the gun and was like, no, she's lying. I'm like, no, she wouldn't do that. I, you know, she's been my friend for a long time. I'm like, because they were like, well, how she hasn't told you nothing. And I said, maybe she just needs some time.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Maybe she'll tell me later on. I don't know. But my biggest thing was you made me look like an asshole because I'm defending you. And then here they're showing me all this stuff. So now, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_01So now you look like the fool then.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I look like an asshole.
SPEAKER_01I am. This is why you should never help anybody. You know, just yeah. Let this be a lesson to everyone. A lesson for don't try to help people. Fuck it. Just like let them just fuck up, you know. No, no, don't help nobody. This is the public service announcement. If you're hearing this, then you're part of the problem. This podcast is problematic. Let's go.
