What is up, you clowns? Back with another episode of Story Time with the Real King Fish. I am your host, the Marathon Continues, and I am joined by you guessed it, the very special one and only The Real Kingfish. What's up, man? How you doing, pal? I am I'm I'm I don't know. I'm kind of having an out-of-body experience these days. I feel, you know, I I think I said this to you. I'm not a religious man, but these last few days have been um like I've been at church for real.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I can relate to that. I feel um I feel like a lot of feelings all the time. And like I I can't rem I I never know what day it is, uh, which is a big one. I've heard from so many people that I've lost touch with. Um, you know, like random people sending me like I'm so flattered by the way people like see something good happening with the Knicks and in New York, and they like they tell me they think of me, and like that's that's amazing stuff. Yeah, and um yeah, I'm I'm look, the Knicks haven't won the championship yet. Obviously, we know that, and nope, hopefully they'll hopefully they'll do that this weekend or this week, but it's um you know what a time to be alive.
SPEAKER_02I um yeah, I think you know there is no peril like being a New York fan. There's the it's it's a very perilous experience, um, and I wouldn't have it any other way than the way it's going right now. Yeah, I I think I think that's right.
SPEAKER_01I I think you know, I think that there are pieces of this that that you can sort of connect. Um, you know, there's a piece of this. I think a lot of this, there's a lot of parallels with the the 1994 Rangers. I think that's you know, that was 54 years. This is 53 years, like this. That was a a now I can die in peace moment. I think um I think that game the other night was probably I think the best the best comparison you can probably find is is Bill the Bill Buckner game, right? That was a game six, right? The Mets still had to win the next game, but I think sort of very similar. Um but when you add in, I think, you know, you it's almost like you're combining those two two games, but the Rangers don't operate on the scale of the of the Knicks, right? Like, you know, it was a big deal at the time, but but the Rangers are not the Knicks. That that's a fact, right? Hockey is not basketball, and and and the Mets only happened for half the city. So you know what I mean. Like you know, about half the city is probably Yankees fans. So I think this is we are in unprecedented times.
SPEAKER_02It's hard not to mention the Elon Manning's Giants, the first one.
SPEAKER_01I think that's right. I think that's right. That was so surprising, right? Like that that had that mirror miracleity, miracleness, you know, like just divine intervention. But that team had they had been to a Super Bowl about eight years before. They had won 14, you know, they had a sort of a legacy of winning. Um, but but the city was in his the city was in hysterics when that happened.
SPEAKER_02That was I think it was a mix, like it maybe it's a mix of the Rangers and the Giants. Like this is this is coming.
SPEAKER_01And I mean, we're talking about the the Rangers and the and the Mets, those were great teams, though. You know, what the Giants had was was that sort of underdog quality. I realize the Knicks are not necessarily underdogs against the Spurs, but this team came out of nowhere.
SPEAKER_02I think I think they were the the sentiment for anybody not close to the Knicks, not having watched the Knicks, is they have no chance. And I I if I had been one of those, like let's say I was a random like Phoenix Suns fan or something like that, I think I would feel the same way. Like everybody believed that the West is just too much to handle, and they didn't watch the Cleveland series because that was the most boring series for a non-Knicks fan that you could imagine, and nobody saw them, nobody knew how good they were.
SPEAKER_01Uh I mean what I would add, the one component I would probably add, actually, to what we were just saying, you know, the the 94 Rangers and the 07 Giants and the 86 Mets is actually I I can only think of one other time that that people were maybe even rooting for New York. People outside New York don't root for New York, but I think the only time anybody ever rooted for for a New York team outside of New York was was after September 11th in the 2001 World Series. So I think you could even add some of that to this, yeah, to be honest.
SPEAKER_02I think like you know, the undefeated Pats were kind of like you know, Darth Vader.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, people were rooting for us. That was 11.
SPEAKER_0211.
SPEAKER_01That's yeah, I get those two mixed up. I get those two mixed up.
SPEAKER_02I think there's 11. Uh, yeah, that was peak, uh peak story time, like the time you're acquiring stories.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's right. Um so you know, you were asking me about a story, and and you know what? I think at first I said I didn't have one, but the thing that popped to mind is like we had a hell of a night on uh Wednesday. Oh my god. I mean, Charlie, people were walking up to us after the game, like thanking us for the show.
SPEAKER_02We were like we were involved, yeah. Like we were involved.
SPEAKER_01People were like, you two are really something, basically. And yo, unbelievable. Wow, I feel like uh we're part of their stories, yeah. They're like and that means a lot to me.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it was special. I think you know who else out shout out to um special decisions. Like he has a knack for taking photos at just the right time, yeah. I think somehow he's just like he has a thing, and and the photo of me at halftime, I think is something that I want to remember. You know, it's like where I was at emotionally, you know, just like know where I, you know, like it captured that really well. I'll never forget it because of that.
SPEAKER_01I do want to talk about one sort of like 30-second span for you that was really great, which was as I recorded, you started to sit like the way like the way like Makai Pfeiffer sits in clockers, like you weren't sitting on the bench, it's like a very disrespectful act. You're like, I don't sit on the bench where butts go, I put my butt where people's heads go, you know, and my feet where people's butts go. Like I sit up on top of the bench, but you were sort of like doing that indoors, like inside. And then like you got you got your sights on this young woman, like really a girl, like a child, like um barely an adult, like more a child than adult. Like the only woman, she'd probably been in New York for a week to start her internship, wherever, and you were like pointing at her, and and you were like, Where is your NYX apparel? Like, where are your colors? Basically, and I could see she was like, uh like she was like trying to formulate a response, and then you spilled in my mind, you spilled a pitcher of water that knocked down multiple beers onto the woman that was like sitting at the head of our table.
SPEAKER_02Unbelievable.
SPEAKER_01It was really just classic, Charlie. The chaos that you created, and all these people were good sports. Like, thank goodness. Like, I mean, not thank goodness, what were they gonna do? Like, I mean, what who's gonna screw at this point? It's like that guy's crazy. That guy's crazy, but it was really something.
SPEAKER_02It was it was so much liquid, just everywhere, everywhere, absolutely everywhere, and it was so embarrassing for me. It was really, it was really rock bottom. It's it's amazing. Um, it's amazing how far, you know, like the spectrum of my emotions during that two and a half hours is quite incredible. You I think like I'm peaking at the beginning of the game, peaking, just like I can't wait for this game to start.
SPEAKER_01We met at 6 30. To be clear, you drank your first beer in somewhere around six minutes, and then you started to insist that we needed to leave. We were four seconds away from the bar, and our reservation time was 7 45. It was 6 35. You're like, we gotta go, we gotta go to the bar. We have to leave. Like, you were jacked up by halftime earlier. You were fighting with with um Mikey, Michael Marham. You were like, Stop pointing at me. That's what you kept saying. Stop pointing at me. You know, the thing where he like points with all of his fingers, you was doing an underhand, it looks like karate, it's an underhand, yeah, right, full hand point. Um, yeah, and and but but yeah, we got real upset, but then I think we did sort of start to believe. We started to believe a little on the early side, which I think was important.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean, anytime there's two baskets in a row and you're in that environment, you get a basket, you get a stop, and you get a basket. Now we're cooking. I think like because as as fans, like all of us in this space, like some of us barely know each other, like you're living and dying, and and if there is a positive side, yeah, you just you feed off it, and it just goes up. And it's like, you know, this was the thing that I was lacking. So my story, and I'll tell it on here. I told everybody this story after we after we last spoke. The Saturday night after the Friday game to win, I got a photo of Sh Mikel Farham and Schplonafen Smissner, and it it broke my heart into a well.
SPEAKER_01There's somebody missing you you left out I think the real the real MVP of my thus far my finals experience, which and I'll call him by his name, but Brian Handel has just carried us on his back with his I mean thousands of hours, yeah, thousands of hours at Amity Hall uptown, and just cashed in, cashed it in. They are like greeting us by name, basically. I it's like the when I when we walked in there, I felt like it was that scene in Goodfellas at the Copacabana, like they were like, Oh, you're here with Brian? Yes, same table, of course. Yeah, like hold this way. This guy is at the top of my list.
SPEAKER_02Shout out, shout out to this.
SPEAKER_01Wait, I want to say one more thing. I know I'm interrupting you. I want to say one more thing. No, you're good. Excellent friends of friends scene.
SPEAKER_02It's special, right?
SPEAKER_01You got the right guys with him, like it's really good.
SPEAKER_02Shout out to Tomas, shout out to Kobe.
SPEAKER_01I agree, and I'm not like this, you know. I'm not like this. Something maybe I've changed.
SPEAKER_02Maybe you've matured in your old age, yeah. Um but all right, Saturday. So I'm there on Saturday, and you know, I think that photo came in Friday night, obviously, like during this whole thing, and then the video came. And when I should have been just filled with joy, I was, you know, um rampant with sadness. And I it was because I was not with my people, you know. Charles Barkley puts it really well. He was like, you know, you you can't do remote church, like church cannot be done remotely. Like you need to like yeah, you got you can't do virtual, like Zoom church, like you gotta be at church to have you a question. Sure.
SPEAKER_01Where do where are you hearing Charles Barkley say this?
SPEAKER_02Uh there was one inside the MBA. Got it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, just making sure you're not listening to like Charles Barkley, like, no, no, no, no, no extra content.
SPEAKER_02Just Charles gives you plenty. It's the 20 minutes after the game. That's good. That's good. Yeah, I don't need to hear him like on the Dan Patrick show in the morning. I don't need that. Um, and so this guy uh he describes it well. So I'm there on Saturday, sort of eating my heart out. Like, I can't believe that the Knicks are in this space, and I am not with it. It was really you, like I can't believe I appreciate that with Jonathan Fishner for this. Like it's it is the thing we've always connected on. Like you are as crazy as I am about them. And I think you know, I have to be I have to be with you, and I have to be there, I have to be with Mike, like Mike, like Mike and Brian. Shout out to them. Like, they cultivated my my fandom too. Like they used to bring me games when I was younger, and like, you know, without them, obviously my Nick fandom isn't the same. So, like not being around them and and and you during this time was like really um it was really painful for me. And I think um, you know, I'm I'm laying in bed Saturday night and I'm just like, I can't, I can no longer I can no longer take this. I can't take this anymore. So Laura's half asleep. Um, and I'm uh I go grab my phone and I just like book uh a red eye the next night. And I'm like, you know, she's like half asleep. I'm like, you know, babe, I'm just gonna, it's all right with you, Rench. And I was like, okay, but I'm not, I'm just I'm not gonna book my return flight yet. And she like popped up out of the bed, like, um, excuse me, what what what what's I'm just going out for a pack of smokes, I'll be back in a few days. I'll be back. She was like, um, but I I wasn't sure how I was gonna stay. I know we have some plans. I'm trying to like, you know, something has to get sacrificed, but I I could no longer stay away from the city. So I got on a plane. The flight was delayed till 3 30 in the morning. It was it was awful, but it didn't matter because well shout to her. Shout out to her, yeah. Because she really likes she enabled me to do this, and and I love her for it. It's amazing.
SPEAKER_01So I well, you put a lot of work in. You've you put family first literally thousands of times, right? And that's the right thing to do. But every once in a while, you gotta you gotta sort of similar to Brian trading in his his equity at the at Amity Hall. Uh, you gotta sometimes you gotta trade it in, you know.
SPEAKER_02Sometimes you gotta spend it. You gotta go for it.
SPEAKER_01You know, so as the Knicks were making their comeback, I I can there was one point, I think it was a Brunson three, that I really I felt like I almost pushed you. I think you were standing. I really felt like I almost pushed you over onto a lot of people, yeah, kind of held on tight. And then as we were getting down into those last few minutes, I mean, Mikey said I went quiet, but I could actually, I could feel it was like I could feel and I thought this, I mean, God, they better win, but I could almost feel the all the horrible things that have happened with the Knicks, both the the on the court ones and just all of it. The bad transactions, the the fights, the you know, balls that didn't, you know, shots that didn't go in, and and all the you know, all the disasters. Like I could feel it like like watching like it was like my awful next life flashing before my eyes, like washing away. Yeah, there was an emotional outburst was coming, and I don't know how long I was crying for, but it felt like a very long time. It was such a beautiful thing, it was so beautiful. It was a beautiful moment for me, and it was nice to have you doing whatever whatever the opposite of crying is right next to me was a good. I think that's what was moving people.
SPEAKER_02They got the full range, they got the top and the bottom, they got the full range. They got the full range. I you know, and I think that speaks to the religious part of this all is that feeling, you know, it's like uh everybody made fun of me for this custom jersey I have. I didn't wear it on Wednesday night, I wore it on Monday night, and it's a Brunson, you know, it's a New York 11, and on the back it says Muadib, and it's um it's the prophesied savior of the desert planet from Dune. Like it's just it's so nerdy, it's so corny, but like that's the way I feel when I watch this guy. It's like you're watching, you know, like Neo from Matrix or whatever. Like it's like he's the one, you know. Like, listen to the case.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's a good segue. Well, what's gonna happen? How do you see this? For the rest of the series, yeah. Like, what do you think? What I mean, you feel like they're gonna take care of it on Saturday.
SPEAKER_02You think it's no peril, peril. There's no there's gotta be more peril. This is it. This is like they maybe they they they obviously they show up on they always show up on the road, right? Like for whatever reason, you know, people talk, they I think people have been wording it incorrectly. Like, I don't think like Madison Square Garden is a disadvantage by any stretch, like some people have been saying, but what I will tell you is they do play with a swagger on the road, and it's because of the like insane people that travel with them, and they're like it they just bring the New York Juju, you know? Yeah, and like they play on the road better than any other team because of that, so they'll bring it. Um, but I think you and I are gonna be possibly in the building.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I hope so. I mean, I hope they I I'm doing my best. I'll take it anyway. I'll take it anyway. I can get it. I agree. I mean, there's gonna be a lot of Knicks fans in in San Antonio on on Saturday, right? Like I I've I have people texting me saying I have tickets, do you want to go? Blah blah blah. It's like so who knows? I think they're gonna win on Saturday.
SPEAKER_02I I I think it's it's hard to not feel that way based on what happened, you know. Right, right. Um, but I I you know I have to say you gotta stay stay level with it. It's oh it's okay, like one moment to the next, like there can't be too much despair if this game doesn't go exactly as we want it to. Um, I also, you know, part of me, like if I did get to choose, I feel like it should be in the city. Like, this is something that should happen, like in New York City. Like the the I already the game and the celebration should be in Manhattan if it can be. You know, but but again, I will take it any which way, take it game five, take it game seven. I'll take it however you want it, but it would be fun.
SPEAKER_01I did not appreciate in real time how badly the Spurs were fucking it up.
SPEAKER_02Oh it is such a thing of beauty. This guy pointing at his head, talking about I'm in your head, and all he does is miss nine of ten and both of those free throws, he misses both of three throws.
SPEAKER_01I didn't appreciate it happened so fast, like how bad it was that Fox took the shot, the layup, right? Like, I you know, like if I'm sitting in my house watching that game in the regular season, like I'm that's the kind of stuff I'm like all over, but you know, there's just too much going on. Like the you know, it's like I don't think if you if you had handed me a if you had handed me a piece of like a fourth grade math test, like right after that game, I like I would have I would have gotten 32% of the questions right. Like I like my brain power, like I just couldn't was so cooked.
SPEAKER_02But I think I have to tell you, this is that's one thing I'll point out about the game is like even these grown men who've been playing basketball their whole lives, been in these situations countless times. This guy makes a bonehead mistake, and then Alvarado turned it over, bro. Like he that was a big horse, yeah. Like it wasn't or whatever, it's not, but it yeah, but it was like he was tried.
SPEAKER_01If somebody did that in a if somebody did that, I mean, obviously, you're playing pickup, there really isn't usually backcourt, but if that happened while you were like playing pickup, there would be a war, yeah, over the call, right? Like it would yeah, like probably this is like the kind of issue that leads to someone not being allowed to come to the run anymore.
SPEAKER_02And like Richard Jefferson, right? He tried to flip it. He's like, What a brilliant play by Alvarado by keeping the ball in the backcourt. So, like, I think technically you have to have two feet. What he said was like it all has to go to the ball.
SPEAKER_01It's like what's it called? It's like um it's like uh when you can throw the ball past the line of scrimmage. It's like everything has to be over, right? Right, right, right, right, or something. Yes, good call.
SPEAKER_02That's a very that's a very good analogy. Um, but in his mind, he wasn't thinking like, oh, let me just keep the basketball behind the line. And then if you watch where he threw it, that was gonna be a turnover. Yeah, like he like Vassell was he tried to throw it to Brunson, like that was gonna that was gonna end the game.
SPEAKER_01Like they it is no surprise though. I I said to people, man, there's a lot of New York in this series, and that was a really That was that kid is a real fucking New York kid doing real New York shit. Like, just what do you like? I will do whatever interesting. He's from Brooklyn. He should definitely be from uptown. But Brooklyn is fine. Like, we'll take it. But he seems like a real uptown. Yeah, exactly. Like, right? Spanish Harlem all day. It would be would make it a little better, but whatever. It's let's not be picky.
SPEAKER_02He's the man. You know, maybe small, maybe goes on it doesn't go unnoticed at this point because the microscope is on everything. But um, great move at the at the deadline. Want to give all those guys their flowers. I also would like to call out Julius Randle because this no, but but seriously though, like this whole movement. Yeah, the whole movement doesn't happen if Julius Randle is a flop. Like he was the only value that Steve Mills acquired in his weird uh we talked about this.
SPEAKER_01You know, he was, I think, you know, when they for most of that time he was the 37th uh highest paid player in the NBA, and he was you know, people will be like, and he was all NBA, and he was top, yeah, and he was all NBA, I think, more than once. You can contrast that with I I cannot stop thinking about this. The Aaron Fox next year is going to be making 55 million dollars, and he has three years left at that price. That is he's like the fourth best guard on his team.
SPEAKER_02Wow, yeah, he's not even gonna be getting any minutes.
SPEAKER_01It's like I don't know, like uh it is unbelievable.
SPEAKER_02We're really lucky that this coach is such a bonehead, like or maybe he's just experienced you're up 29 points in the third quarter, and you end that game with with Victor Wembanyama playing 43 minutes.
SPEAKER_01How is that? Explain it to me. Yeah, I just it's unbelievable. That's it. Did you see his press? Ava comes out, Ava comes my wife, Mayba Mishner, comes out of the bedroom, it's like two o'clock in the morning, and I'm watching, she doesn't know what's happened. I'm watching like the Mitch Johnson press conference, and she's just like, for maybe the first time in our marriage, is like, what the fuck are you doing out here?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, what's wrong with you?
SPEAKER_01Like, what is wrong with you? And I I I couldn't even like it didn't feel like the right time. Like, I didn't think I could lay it on her. Like, I couldn't give her that much to think about while she's basically sleepwalking. But yeah, I watched Mitch Johnson's Mitch Johnson's press conference, and um he didn't seem great.
SPEAKER_02He's made a lot of mistakes. We've been really lucky. Like the end of game one, like he's not playing Harper. Harper doesn't play the end of game one. And I'm like, uh, what's wrong with you? And now in this last game, he's running the offense. They haven't figured out that maybe instead of Darren Fox, maybe they should use Harper.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's incredible. Like, well, let's do a Harper age. Yeah, I mean the tweet. Have you seen the video? Have you waited have you seen the video uh that's going around of um of Mike Brown criticizing in detail De'Aaron Fox and then he gets fired the next day?
SPEAKER_02Yep. I saw that just I played that for for Schmara Breen this morning.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, unbelievable.
SPEAKER_02I mean, he like unbelievable. And and I yeah, I in the in the weeds, like yo, the chat that I was in that said that I was like, wow, very specific. Who is specific?
SPEAKER_01Who like I figure it's like it's like King's fans and like King's bloggers and King's reporters, like who just obviously that's a big deal in Kingsland, right? Like if you you knew that happened, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but what he's saying makes a ton of sense, you know, it's like and and it's sort of it it it's uh it gives you an idea of you know that he lacks a little bit of basketball IQ, like in them in these like crunch time situations.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean I think when I think about basketball coaching, I think about uh uh our good friend uh that I was trying to get on this podcast, who's you know, the smartest basketball person I know. I'm talking to him about the game and I say Alvarado was great. You know, I'm talking about Alvarado, and do you know what this guy says to me? This maniac He says the pass to the He says that pass to Alvarado in the corner was great. I normally don't like bounce passes in those situations because the shooter has to adjust their eyes too much.
SPEAKER_02No, I noticed that too. He like and he like rolled it to him. It was crazy that pass he made.
SPEAKER_01It was a crazy pass. So this is what men back says when he sees that he says, Oh, it's got you gotta make it easy for the shooter. He also he he he thinks Stefan Castle believes deserves some of the blame for getting hit in the back by that pass from Wimbanium. Oh, I said that to you too. I hope I you're trained, you gotta look to the middle of the court.
SPEAKER_02Yo, he's the point guard. You go get the ball, like Wendy's not bringing the ball up. Of course, you're supposed to go get the ball.
SPEAKER_01Like, what is it? These are the little, but you know, these are the these are the littlest things, right?
SPEAKER_02But the most important thing is things that are also done on our side. So, like Jalen watches that all and he's there to like get the ball. That's right, and he draws the foul. So, like, in the same way that they're not thinking, like Jalen is just constantly focused. It's amazing. Like, my my flight got uh messed with yesterday, too. I was supposed to leave at 4:45. I didn't leave until 12 o'clock at night. I didn't get into my bed until 4:30 Pacific time. Okay. So um, and uh the whole time I'm like walking around the plane, they're like letting us sort of stand by the plane. It was one of these weird situations, like they got the door of the plane open, everybody's kind of chilling in the what airline are you flying on? Jet Blue, sir. It's Jet Blue, okay, and I'm like, can't I go up to the front desk? I'm like, can somebody call Jalen Brunson to come fix this, please? We have to call Jalen because somebody's gotta fix this nonsense. This is nonsense. Um and I just feel like he can save anything, he can fix anything. He's focused, man. He's focused.
SPEAKER_01So I'm excited. How many minutes do you think uh Jeremy Sohan is gonna get in this next game? Uh he's earned it. He could 10 seconds in game one, I think it was. Four minutes in game four.
SPEAKER_02I think you know, I think I think like end of the half, like put a good lick on Wemby, maybe like if they have a foul to give.
SPEAKER_01Like Yeah, I wasn't delighted that it was Mitch that did that. I I didn't want, I didn't think that was the right thing.
SPEAKER_02It's a shame. Like Mitch is so good, but it's so easy to like chess him out of the game.
SPEAKER_01I would love to see him, I would love to see him just have nothing crazy, but just one of those four-minute stretches where he takes over, you know what I mean? Like where he gets six offensive rebounds in an alley because it's been a tough series and he had a he's had a really good season.
SPEAKER_02And um go three for three from the line, you know, or something like that.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's not good. Now you're getting crazy.
SPEAKER_02Well, just you know, the law of averages, we gotta get something. Gotta get something out of this guy.
SPEAKER_01Uh any any pardoning thoughts before we uh before we go?
SPEAKER_02Um, I hope to see you again here in the short term. I will. I hope so too.
SPEAKER_01I think if anything, if anything, this has taught us that you can come here more often.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's for sure. But this is like you said, we're I'm spending my my um good husband capital on this. This is the uh pay down of that. I don't know how many of these I got. But you know, and I do the I do the draft every year, you know, for sure. We could we could add a Charlie weekend. We could we could do that.
SPEAKER_01Um that would be a wonderful thing.
SPEAKER_02Well, the other the other the other parting thought is you know, we said it earlier on the show, but you know it's it's the Knicks are one thing, but it's the community that makes it. It's walking around the city and seeing orange and blue, everything, and somebody walking past me, this little kid with a yarmulk on the on the jet blue flight, like we've been delayed nine hours, and he's like, Nick's in five.
SPEAKER_01It is it is nice to be able to. Is this what it's like to live in, like in like you know, uh New York, wherever the University of Alabama is based, in Tuscaloosa? Yeah, where like yeah, no matter what's happening, you could at least just say like roll tide. Like you can just like roll tide, dog pop to any, like you can get into or out of any conversation by saying something about this name. Like it's really great. It's great.
SPEAKER_02It's it's and it also brings the other thing is like you know, Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, you know, they're the you know, there is no other yeah.
SPEAKER_01I'm just gonna renew my call for the Brooklyn Nets to move. Get out of here. Get out of here. Send them to Seattle. Yeah, Seattle. I think Seattle is really the only option. Like, this is the biggest I mean wow. Just wow.
SPEAKER_02Get out of here. Um any parts for thoughts for you? How's it gonna go? What's your prediction?
SPEAKER_01I think I think there's a good chance they take care of business on Saturday. Um I think that um yeah, I think it's I think that I really do trust them on the road. I think um this is as I think it'll it might be it'll be easy, easier for them in some ways to be on the road, where I think it'll be 20% Knicks fans, and like we already know they can win, obviously. So I think there's a good chance they take care of it. Um although I'd love to be at the game, of course. Uh it might be a little more than like I I don't know if I want to go back into the emo, like the ups, downs, highs, lows. Like man, I we we left a lot on the field from an emotional perspective, and like I'd like to just go with like up and to the right joy, if I can. Um and so I think there's a good chance that that's that that's gonna happen, but but if it doesn't, they'll take care of it in game six.
SPEAKER_02And we will be here for it.
SPEAKER_01I hope so. So this is great. Shout to you, shout out to everyone. I I just want to reiterate my massive shout out to Brian Handel, who's just like really like the man the man. And uh yeah, so yeah.
SPEAKER_02All right, well we'll talk. I love you, buddy. Shout out to shout out to Handel's fake Oakley jersey, too. Shout out to that.
SPEAKER_01Oh god, wait, sorry. Fake jersey. What is that thing?
SPEAKER_02Mike.
SPEAKER_01Mike, come on, man. Fix it. You're a successful businessman, yeah. And and you're you're damn close to a public figure.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you can't be out here with some weird like Adidas, like I don't know, yeah, like unlicensed Charles like apparel.
SPEAKER_01Like what are we doing?
SPEAKER_02What? Yeah, so you know what?
SPEAKER_01You know what I have an idea for Mike? Bet bet the Knicks, you know what I'm saying? Like, find a bet you like win it, and use the money to buy yourself an official jersey. You deserve it. The children are wearing them, right? And and everybody's wearing them, and like I I like this for you.
SPEAKER_02Me too. I have to have it. Shout out to that. We can have a burning celebration. We'll burn it when uh exactly.
SPEAKER_03Nothing the bus wing! Move your next thing not in the bus without the biggest. There's no place to hide once I step inside the roll. Prepare for the ball, bam, ah, me, ah, shit, the quick boss, I'll be boss, it's boss, boss, stop, it's up, I'm both the ball, I'll be busted, oh, it's not big, stop, uh beat, take your team, dead, every team, take up, everybody, don't be, you don't fuck, you don't know, you don't know my death, where they come, you would get up, but I get up, but I get up, don't pay, what I do, I've done three of rail bit, green get the money, that's moves everything around it, creep get the money. Keep it going, yo, that's moves, everything a rail bit, green get the money. What about everything around me? Queen get the money. What y'all talking about?
SPEAKER_04Let's go next, let's go, next! We outside.
SPEAKER_03Uh it feels cool. I mean, everyone's pretty excited. Um, I'm excited too. I'm excited too. Uh, we're all excited. Uh we're enjoying it right now, but we're just focused on the next game now.
