you heard those words before? Some people seem to habitually get ready
at the very last second or run behind regularly. Somehow, these folks
need to learn how to make preparations earlier and to stay focused. The
same is true when it comes to being ready for Jesus’ return. Jesus said in

SPEAKER_01Week 30, Friday. The Parable of the Watchful Servants, Luke chapter 12, verses 35 through 40 by Steve Baggett. I'm Doyle Ferris. Always ready. Today's Scripture, Luke chapter 12 and verse forty. You need to hurry up and finish getting ready. We're running late. Have you heard those words before? Some people seem to habitually get ready at the very last second or run behind regularly. Somehow these folks need to learn how to make preparations earlier and to stay focused. The same is true when it comes to being ready for Jesus' return. Jesus said in Luke chapter twelve and verse forty, you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. In addition to Jesus stating that he will return, Paul told the Athenians the same thing. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man who he has appointed, and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead. Are you ready for judgment day? If not, why not? Since Jesus' death on the cross made possible the forgiveness of your sins, please obey the gospel and live the rest of your days faithfully serving Him? Do you believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God? Romans chapter ten and verse ten? Have you repented of your sins? Luke chapter thirteen and verse three. Have you confessed faith in Jesus as the Son of God? Romans chapter ten and verse ten? Have you been baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sins? Acts chapter two and verse thirty eight? Are you walking in the light as he is in the light? John chapter one and verse seven. Will you seriously consider your relationship with Christ and His church? James states, You do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. James chapter 4 and verse 14. Since there is no guarantee for tomorrow, and judgment day is real, please no longer delay obeying Jesus. Today, I will stop procrastinating and obeying Jesus. I will obey the gospel. I will be ready for the Lord's return.
