Pollen doesn’t care about your recording schedule. One minute we’re opening the doors at the bookshop, the next Baby Baby is in full allergy-attack mode: runny nose, itchy eyes, no meds, and a desperate search for tissues and the first aid kit. Evil Glaxi tries to help the way only Glaxi can, with a “special” catnip coffee and a plan to turn the chaos into something useful and funny.

That plan becomes a rapid-fire, kid-friendly guide to children’s books about allergies and food allergies, built for parents, teachers, and anyone trying to help a child understand what’s happening in their body. We talk through picks like Daniel Has an Allergy (Daniel Tiger), the silly relief of The Itchy Saurus, and the graphic novel Allergic for readers who want feelings, friendships, and the real social stress that can come with allergies. We also hit the Alvin Ho series for laughs that still feel weirdly accurate on a day when everything is irritating.

Then comes the twist no one asked for: the “contract” requires a song.
