Speaker: [00:00:00] Good morning, Quincy. Today is Tuesday, January 13th, 2026, and this is your daily local update for Quincy George Winchester and Crescent Bar. If it matters to our community, we are talking about it. In the next few minutes, we'll cover today's weather, what's happening around town, school, sports and activities, schools, city council, police, fire, churches, and local businesses.
Whether you're heading to work or getting your kids ready to go out the door or just easing into your day, we're here to help you stay connected with what's happening in our, grab your coffee, get ready for your day, and let's get started with the weather. A little fog this morning. Uh, well it's Quincy, so that's not a huge surprise for this part of the year, so be careful as you're starting out your day this morning.
Turn on those headlights. Be safe whether you're committing to work or taking a kid to school. Let's be careful this morning and take care of each other. It's supposed to be a high between 47 and 51, depending on which weather app you prefer, because. Let's face it, they all [00:01:00] disagree and they all have their own opinion, but somewhere between 47 and 51 today and mostly cloudy day with a little bit of sun breaks this afternoon, today is national sticker day.
I don't know what it is about stickers, but they're magical. You don't, it doesn't matter if you're six or if you are 60, a sticker can put a smile on your face, and I am absolutely guilty of being one of those people who have stickers all over the top of my laptop and my water bottles. So for all of you sticker lovers, today is your day.
It's also National Rubber ducky day. So whether you're a kid or a Jeep owner, today is your day at National Rubber Ducky Day. I have new, no idea who actually comes up with these things, but they're funny and they're interesting. So, hey, I thought I'd share 'em with you guys. Onto weekly events. This week, Quincy Free Methodist Church is hosting the spring session for the mom co, formerly known as Mops Gathering.

happening around town this week. Quincy Valley Veterans Recognition Wall needs our community support.
