Speaker: [00:00:00] Morning Quincy. Today is Tuesday, April 7th, 2026. This is your daily local update for Quincy George Winchester Crescent Bar Su Estates, and all of the 9 8 8 4 8. If it matters to our community, we're talking about it. In the next few minutes, we'll cover today's weather, what's happening around town, school, sports and activities, schools, city council, police, fire, church community, and local business news.

Whether you're heading to work, getting the kids out the door, or just easing into your day. We're here to help you stay connected to what's happening in our community. Grab your coffee, get ready for your day, and let's start with today's weather forecast. It's a nice morning outside, currently 53 here at the studio.

Today's supposed to be sunny with a high near 62 with a little bit of breezy wind, 14 to 21 miles an hour. We had some big gusts up [00:01:00] to about 31, so. As always, when driving around Quincy, if you're driving a larger vehicle or out on your own feet, just be aware that you might catch some strong gusts today and plan accordingly.

Of course, 'cause this is the 9 8 8 4 8 and we know a little bit about wind tonight. Mostly clear with a low, around 37 and some winds throughout the evening. Y'all ready for this
