If you're looking for a reason to celebrate, today [00:02:00] is Cinco de Mayo. It's not actually an official holiday, but hey, it's a good reason to celebrate. Whether you are having some friends over or going out and having some great food, like I said, it's a reason to celebrate. It's also National Astronaut Day and National Cartoonist Day, so take a minute and appreciate all of those cartoonists who worked for years back when they actually handred cartoons, as opposed to animating them on a computer.
Today around town, the Quincy Senior Center has an exercise class at 1:00 PM. They play Mexican train at 6:30 PM after dinner. If you'd like to know the menu for each day, I will get it posted later today. I apologize for yesterday. Uh, yesterday got away from me and so I was not able to get over to the senior center, get a copy of the menu.

And it's Tuesday, and I don't know about you, but for some reason, Tuesdays are harder than Mondays for me. I haven't quite figured that one out yet. Uh, I know a lot of people dread Mondays, but Tuesdays are harder for me, so we've got a great dad joke to get the day started right. What happens when a doctor gets frustrated?
They lose their patience.[00:04:00]

Congratulations to the Grant [00:07:00] County Fire District three for their second win at the annual Police versus Fire- Fire Charity Softball game last night. This is a fundraising concert with all proceeds benefiting the QHS choir. Students audition with their favorite songs, and they put together a cover band of student musicians along with a few adults to bring these songs to life. They have 25 amazing covers prepared. It's a great way to support the students doing exactly what they sign up to do, making music, and they sing.
