If you're buying or selling a home around the Central Basin, [00:12:00] Deb and her team are here to help you out with almost 40 years of experience right here in our community.
They know exactly what it takes to buy or sell a house in our area. Now let's move into city admin news, school announcements, and a handful of summer opportunities from camps to recreation programs that are beginning to take shape around the nine eight four eight. The city of Quincy would like to remind you that A Street Northeast is going to be closed for the foreseeable future, and the intersections connecting with it will also be temporarily closed.
You're gonna have to reroute as they tear up and work on A Street to actually put that back together 'cause it's gotten pretty bad. Construction is estimated to start yesterday and run through the first week of September. For more information, please contact Hurst Construction at 509-664-0173 or the city of Quincy at 509-787-3523, extension two five eight.
They apologize for the inconvenience and [00:13:00] appreciate your patience as they try to make A Street actually not fall apart. Couple announcements from the Quincy Rec Department. Please help preserve the integrity of the new park and splash pad located at Sixth Avenue and E Street by abiding by the following rules: No bikes, scooters, skateboards, skates, or similar items allowed within the padded play areas.
These items can damage the brand-new padding and tear it up. It's hard to replace, and it will make it less safe for kids. Please help us keep playground clean, and we appreciate help with all of this. Swim legistr- lesson registration is open for this year on the city's website. If you're interested in swim lessons that will begin in July, then head over to the city website to sign up or register your kids.
Also, tentative dates for the opening of the new Quincy Aquatic Center are set for this coming weekend. Everything looks like it's going to according to plan, but as long as things continue to run smoothly and they finish their training, it looks like the new [00:14:00] aquatic center we've all been waiting for is planning to open this Friday
