Welcome to the Talk Talk Talk Over Podcast.
SPEAKER_00Welcome back, everyone.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god, happy Wednesday.
SPEAKER_00Happy Wednesday and good fucking morning.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I know. Seriously, it's literally before 9 a.m. This is our our what is it, 5 to 9 before our 9 to 5? Yes. Yep. That. Well, I don't know. You know what?
SPEAKER_03And speaking of that, I actually have something related to that.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03So Kara and I were talking a few weeks ago, and I asked her what she thought the world would look like without the patriarchy ever existing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So one of the things I actually wrote down is that nine to fives wouldn't exist. Like 40-hour work would not fucking exist. No.
SPEAKER_02They wouldn't.
SPEAKER_00Um, so let me tell you what else I had.
SPEAKER_02Everybody would get some of their passion, and they would just get like a everyone would just make the same amount.
SPEAKER_03Right. I don't even know if money itself would exist. No, I feel like we would just trade things.
SPEAKER_02I feel like we would have a trade. So true. Yeah, because it's like we don't need we're not like desiring power. Well, it's like we're all just wanting to be able to do that. That's what I'm saying. I have what you need. Right, like let's just trade. That's what it used to be. Yeah, like back in the good old days. I need that cow. Yeah. You need a whole lot of corn. Let's just get it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I'll sew you a dress. Give me that cow.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah. Like, I love those. Wait, yeah. No, like, what are you talking about?
SPEAKER_02We didn't even need Wi-Fi. No, we don't need to be able to do that.
SPEAKER_04First of all, I don't give a damn. If you need me, write me a letter.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. We bring back writing letters because I know. Oh my god. Do not text me. I so my grandmother passed a while back. Obviously, it's been like 20 years or whatever. And we do a scholarship golf outing every year in honor of her. And one of her like really good friends had written her a letter like right before she passed. And so he sent it to my dad and was like, found this in my computer, thought like you would like get. And it was like the most heartfelt letter about like what the friendship meant to her. And I was like, hey, so now I'm gonna write it. I just got the chilly sweet like letters because like it lasts forever. Yeah. And it's so sweet. Like that's what you want is like your friends to love you so much that like hard for them to express it, but they do, anyways. Anyways.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you're right. I love I love a letter too.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Tell us your list.
SPEAKER_00Okay, there's okay. I have a few other things. So oh, I don't think beer would exist.
SPEAKER_01No, beer is disgusting. It would not exist.
SPEAKER_00Um I said, kind of going off the Wi-Fi thing, technology the way we know it wouldn't exist. We would live off the land more because women aren't greedy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like we wouldn't just keep taking and taking from the environment.
SPEAKER_02Oh, good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Um, no fake blondes.
SPEAKER_02I don't think they would.
SPEAKER_00Like, I really think that's a result of the patriarchy.
SPEAKER_04Because like guys like blondes.
SPEAKER_00I guess guys like children and I don't know, it just made sense to me. Yeah. I don't have any real like science behind these. This is just how I feel.
SPEAKER_02This is just my feeling. Yeah, but you're right, because being just like naturally yourself would be like the standard. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04No one, like, we would be dressing like, you know, everything would be flowy.
SPEAKER_02Dude, everything would be flowy. Pants, shirt, no bras, like uncle. You know what?
SPEAKER_03I think we're getting actually closer to that because that's how I dress.
SPEAKER_02I know, seriously. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00Um I don't know if this makes sense to you, but I said we would have figured out magic by now.
SPEAKER_02Because we're so in touch with ourselves. That's what I'm saying. Like, we doubt. I mean, I feel like women have in some capacities.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I agree. But I think without like the oppression holding us back, like I think we would have figured that shit out.
SPEAKER_04No, you know what? Jalen Witch.
SPEAKER_02Actually, I I read something saying that like if man like thought of whatever what what were people women getting like held at the stake for?
SPEAKER_03Um, like being intuitive. Yeah, like shit like that.
SPEAKER_02If a man came up with it, then like he discovered something, but because a woman did, she's a witch. Yeah. No, it's true. It's like the patriarchy just immediately was like saying that they were wrong. It's like the same thing.
SPEAKER_03Oh, they were getting like burned for like um using herbal medicine. Yeah because they thought it was like witchcraft.
SPEAKER_02Like this bitch, it's just from the earth. Yeah. But there's something they also say that about like they call them old wives' tales. It's like women figured out things that were consistent and like, oh, if your belly is sitting lower, you're probably having a boy. But because a woman figured out it's just an old tail. It's just a tail. I was just trying, guys, I was like, I was like, film the other day, and it was so stupid.
SPEAKER_04I've actually really cute town. We should go. It is super cute. But yeah, like it's crazy because it's like you know, you go through and like they teach you about like all of the things about like the witches. Like they literally do if like you like if a woman said, like, oh, like I think I'm gonna have a boy. And like they did. Right. You're a witch. Yeah. Like that shit's crazy. Sorry, I'm in tune with my body.
SPEAKER_02There's a creature inside of me, and I know it's a boy. Sue me. That shit's crazy. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So um, let's see if I had any oh, I don't think eating disorders would exist.
SPEAKER_04No, no, they would not. I tried to lie on that. Anything judgmental.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02Any like anything that has to do with the beauty standards. Right. Also, I don't think that there would be I think we wouldn't even be worrying about eating disorders because there would be no processed foods because the reason that there's no addiction is because they're trying to mass fucking produce it. Yeah. And so I don't think that would have been a problem. I don't think we would be mass producing anything. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I just think we'd be so in tune and living in harmony and like living to live. Right. And everybody would be eating good.
SPEAKER_02Paycheck to paycheck. I know. We were literally seeing how impossible it is to like get an apartment with like the salaries people are giving right now. Like it's unbelievable. I know for a fact a woman would never want another woman to struggle. Yeah. Who came up with this? Wait, that's another thing we talked about because Kara was like, wait, they would we would use taxpayer dollars for to pay people to go on vacation. Like, like you need a vacation, like here. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god. I was just seeing this TikTok about how like this girl, like, there wouldn't be taxes though.
SPEAKER_02I know there wouldn't be taxes. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04But like this friend group, they have like a whole bank account for their friend group. Wow. And so like the whole friend group like contribute to it. And so how do they trust everyone? So like if someone's struggling, they like give help them out. Or if someone's going through the community, see that is community. Or or if they want to go on a trip together. That's amazing. But I was like, that is like really cool. That's really nice. But like women supporting women. Yes. Like it's not greedy. It's like one friend needs it.
SPEAKER_02The stem of all of it is greed at the end of the day. No, it's true. And that's a sin, by the way. Yeah. That is a sin.
SPEAKER_03Wait. Good point.
SPEAKER_02But think about that. Which is also a patriarchal and we're not going to be able to do that.
SPEAKER_03Literally everything. Like I could point out everything in this room and be like, that's a result of patriarchy.
SPEAKER_02Capitalism.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Women created it. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Women did. Yeah. What did we do? How about a billion people?
SPEAKER_03I was gonna say, have you heard that saying that's going around? It's like the only people that live on earth are women and their children.
SPEAKER_02Yes! No, it's true. Literally women and their children.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Wouldn't it be here? Heavy on that.
SPEAKER_02It's true.
SPEAKER_00So speaking of hotties. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02We should get it to it. Okay, guys.
SPEAKER_04If you know me, you know I love a trinket dish. Ooh, me too! I just bought a new one. I just I just bought one the other day. Love. In the middle. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Oh it's different.
SPEAKER_04It's different. No, I love it. I literally like I love, I have like a sucker for a trinket dish.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'm a sucker for one thing. Stupid shit.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, it's for cream. No same.
SPEAKER_02But you know what? You have a reason for every single one of them. Yeah. They're all useful. Trinket dishes would be free. They would be free. You make trinket dishes for a living. You retreat for this dream job. No, literally.
SPEAKER_04That's like what I do. I love them. I just want my everything. And I I think that's uh part of me getting older. I'm like, suddenly I like bowls. I love trinkets right now. Suddenly I need a certi a serving dish. Wait, yeah. Yes.
SPEAKER_00Anything cute that goes in the kitchen, I'm obsessed.
SPEAKER_02I have a fully stocked kitchen and zero apartment. Like I have everything you can need for a kitchen. I just spent all last week making a bar cart, guys. Which I'm very interested in. Oh my god. I flipped it. It literally looks like Sarah's sweatshirt. I'll put a little photo up here. Yeah. It's gorgeous. But mom and I went to Home Goods the other day and I was like, you're coming home with me. Yeah. And I found this like the wallpaper on the back of the bar cart is like cheetahs and lions and lions. Cheetahs, cheetahs and tigers and like leopards. And I found this like statue of a cheetah. Oh, yes. I said, You're coming home with me.
SPEAKER_00That's gonna be so perfect. I needed her. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And she's like a foot tall, and I was like, this is gonna look perfect on top of my bar card. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00No, it's gonna look so good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, wait. That would actually eat though. That would eat.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we put it next to it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, trinkets I'm like a fucking sucker for right now. I have nowhere to put it.
SPEAKER_00I've always been a sucker for those.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I love I'm like literally. No, I love it too. It's it's the perfect size.
SPEAKER_04I got it in Salem. It was at this cutie little store, and I got some stickers.
SPEAKER_02Love the stickers, yeah. Oh, I love that.
SPEAKER_04Apparently I needed that.
SPEAKER_02So like espresso martinis.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah. I love one.
SPEAKER_03And they're aesthetic too.
SPEAKER_04They're so slutty and like cute and sweaty. I just don't like yummy. I just so good. I feel like it'll come around to coffee at some point. An espresso martini and a trinket dish. Love. That's a hottie.
SPEAKER_00Wait, yeah. Gorge. Exactly what I want. Me too. Do tell me about yours. Yeah, I'll I'm gonna tell you about mine. Maybe if you don't know what this is, like it's gonna be your new favorite thing. Oh. Do you guys remember Tom Holland's lip sync battle? To umbrella and then you guys, yes. It came across my desk the other day.
SPEAKER_04She said that like put the pastors on my desk. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02He said that he gets most people who come up to him, like, they talk about that rather than like Spider-Man. He's like, I get a lot of comments about the Rihanna. Okay, I think that's why I saw it because he he was interviewed by Amy Poe or whatever. I love her. She is the same podcast. Yeah. Up on the pod.
SPEAKER_03So he talked about that, and I was like, I have to go watch it. Because it was like so funny.
SPEAKER_02But he eats it up.
SPEAKER_00He ate it up. And he looks good doing it.
SPEAKER_02Zendaya was there. Zendaya was there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, her reaction like kills me. She was dressed as Bruno Mar. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04No, that is like the best lip-sync battle ever. Yeah, that's like my favorite. Every time. And they both eat it up. Yes.
SPEAKER_02They don't even look like themselves. Yeah. Yeah. I love it. No, I love it. Tom Holland's. I was like, you would love that?
SPEAKER_00Oh, same.
SPEAKER_02I would love that. Yeah, because adding him to my Short King Hall of Famers list. No, he literally is. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I love him. He has he's also like sober now. I know I'm just stories about that. Personal, like, just health. I think I didn't know.
SPEAKER_02Well, he had talked about that he felt like he was like he could. Yeah, he's like, why do I feel like I can't live without it? He's like, the the fact that I feel like it's hard for me not to drink makes it feel like there's an issue. Yeah. And he's like, so I would rather join.
SPEAKER_04So he made um like a his own like beer, but it's a non-alcoholic beer. It's called Bureau. Which is not, but it could be. Um But he was like, Zendaya doesn't drink either. And he was like, Well, I want my significant other to like love what I do. Right. Yeah. So he made a shandy for her. Which is amazing.
SPEAKER_02He is like the biggest green flag ever. And so like for her. So like that was inspired for her. They are so cute. Sober is so in right now. It's it actually. I feel like a lot of celebrities are getting sober, or just why can't we sober? Because I feel like people are realizing how like dangerous and like how slippery the slope really is.
SPEAKER_03It's such a slippery slope, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's like a lot of people struggle with addiction like more than you'd think, or at least like have an addictive. You hide it well.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And so I feel like people are just like, there's so many things in life that I love more than drinking. Yeah. So it's just not.
SPEAKER_03That's how I every day that passes I get closer to being sober.
SPEAKER_02No, I know. It's true.
SPEAKER_03Well, then like I don't even drink that much, but every time I do, I'm like, Yeah, and then we're like, oh, let's get silly tonight.
SPEAKER_02Like, let's drink, and then because we don't drink often, then it's like you drink two fucking tequila sodas and I'm hungover for two days. No, like that happened to me last week. I just don't think my body's built for drinking, and it never has been. Yeah. And I also think women's. I don't think anybody's body is though. Their bodies don't like like alcohol. But like we're just fucking without alcohol anyway. Well, that's it. I also like being fully conscious. Like, that's why when I got my wisdom teeth out, I didn't even go fully under because it freaked me out. I'm not looking to be that freaked me out, too. I'm not looking to be like awake, but not there. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. So like being I've been blackout drunk once in my life, and I was so embarrassed and sick that I was like, I'm never doing it again. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00No, it actually is it. Being hungover is like one of the most embarrassing things.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because you did it to yourself. And so no one can feel bad for you, and you're just sitting in your own pile of shame and anxiety. Just kill me. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03You can't even complain. Like, you have no grounds to complain about. There's nothing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you can't. That's torturous. Well, love Tom Holland. Love it. I love him. Okay. So my hottie is good clearance finds. I have been a clearance lover for who since I got my car and I could drive to the mall. Um, I love Abercrombie's clearance section. I always find good stuff.
SPEAKER_03You always I've never found anything in Abercrombie clearance.
SPEAKER_02Really? Me either. Wow, guys. Everything I own Abercrombie is from the clearance section. Yeah, like all the stuff you have is really cute from I bought Sarah a trench coat for Christmas in the clearance section. Oh my god, yeah. That was a good one. It's like a $120 jacket. I paid $30 for it. Like, yeah. Yeah. I was like, yeah, you're getting this and everything else. But this shirt, I saw it when Sarah and I went into the Tuscan village in Salem. We went shopping, and it was like $40. And I was like, if you think I'm paying $40 for a shirt, you're out of your mind. For a button up. Yeah. And it was on sale. I think I paid like $11 for it. Where? I was like, this is at Old Navy. Oh, old Navy. I was on the side. And it was the last one left, and I was like, yeah, you're fine. You're coming up with me.
SPEAKER_03Nothing from Old Navy should be $40. Well, that's exactly that.
SPEAKER_02Like everything is on sale all the time there. And so I don't even love Old Navy. But um I also was shopping like at Home Goods and I got a bunch of like apartment stuff.
SPEAKER_03They have good clearance stuff.
SPEAKER_02And so I just feel like why are we? Let's just be patient. Just shop with our hair. Yeah, be patient. Yeah, just wait.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and it'll find you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I love thrifting.
SPEAKER_04One man's junk.
SPEAKER_02It's my treasure. It's my treasure. Yeah. One woman's junk. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, not man's junk. I don't want that shit.
SPEAKER_02No, I also went um to the thrift store yesterday and we got him burping. Excuse me. I didn't find anything that I wanted, but I was also like overwhelmed. Like I when I go thrifting, I don't want anyone to be. Savers is so overwhelming. Yeah. And then the second I'm leaving up City of my car and then a baddie walks in. I was like, oh, okay. Right. So why do you think he like put his headphones in and they were like the ones with the cords? I was like, oh, he knows he's been here before. He knows what he's doing. He comes here often, but he was like a big, like low-key gym bro, but he was cute.
SPEAKER_03Oh. That thrift. I feel like guy is in a thrift. He should have gone back. You just know he has a personality. I know. If he's thrifting.
SPEAKER_02That's how I feel. He wants to be a big thing.
SPEAKER_00He's not he's not just a body.
SPEAKER_02Wait, yeah. But he has his own style too, because he's not just getting like whatever's trending at Abercrombie. Yes. Yeah, I love that.
SPEAKER_04I go back in there. I know yesterday.
SPEAKER_02Everything was pissing me off yesterday. I was in a shit mood. And so I was like, You're like, of course I'm not. He wasn't. All this bad stuff happens to me. I was like, yeah, okay, love you, bye. I have to go. And then I found some good threats. I'm already bundled up. I can't go back. Yeah, I was like, the AC's not even working. I'm 100 degrees in here.
SPEAKER_00Get me out of here. Okay, that will really piss me off.
SPEAKER_02No, everything was just already. He was cute, so that helped me a little.
SPEAKER_04Tell us you're naughty.
SPEAKER_01On this vibe.
SPEAKER_04Guys, I absolutely hate it when my work bestie does not show up to work.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, hey, so we either both come or we don't come.
SPEAKER_04So I think I'm feeling ill because I can't, I actually can't do this right now. Like, that shit will actually piss me off because it's like the only thing that keeps me going.
SPEAKER_02Wait, I used to, that's how I used to feel about Sarah. Yeah. Like, yeah, we were work bestie mean another life.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Just let me know if you're not coming. Like, I'm not going either then. Yeah, every time you weren't there, I was like, well, there's no point. And I was the worst worker, actually, because I traveled a majority of my time working. Yeah. So if you weren't traveling with me, then she was there alone. I'm sorry about that to call myself. I'm sorry about that.
SPEAKER_04But like that shit will piss me right. Yeah. Because now what I'm supposed to do for the next eight hours.
SPEAKER_03Now I'm just gonna be bored and pissed off.
SPEAKER_02No, I'm and now I have to talk to people on the phone and then I can't talk to you about it after. Right. Right. I have to eat lunch tomorrow. My nightmare. Right. I have to actually work. I can't just yap the whole time.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, I'm pissed.
SPEAKER_02Half of the point of working in person, I do think, is for the socializing aspect. 100%. And so when like your person is not there, what the fuck are we doing? I should have just worked from home.
SPEAKER_03It feels like the longest day in the world.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it literally does. I'm like, Is that gonna be you today? I'm so sorry. No, it's okay. It's okay.
SPEAKER_04I'm having a down date today. Okay. Good. This is my off week. I'm going in office on my off week.
SPEAKER_02That's really kind. It's fine.
SPEAKER_04It's fine.
SPEAKER_02I forgot about that. I'm so sorry. For the good of the pod. For the good of the pod, yeah. We're busy lives, we have to squeeze it in where we can. Yeah, no, it's true. That is a wicked naughty. I agree. I do what I can. Yeah, I agree. Sarah, what's your naughty?
SPEAKER_00I actually um I have a few, I think. Oh. Oh, which one do you have? Okay, I'm I'm gonna go with this one because uh and this is my naughty, but I actually think I'm just jealous.
SPEAKER_04Wait, yeah. Yeah, but that's a naughty that you don't have it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Do you guys any know any skinny families that eat like shit?
SPEAKER_01Do you know what doggone is looking at me? Okay, you don't eat like shit.
SPEAKER_00No, I'm fucking like I know like multiple families where like they're all like sticks, but all they eat is like McDonald's and Doritos. Okay, yeah, we're not like that.
SPEAKER_04No, not like that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, no.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you're you are healthy. You're healthier than me, I would argue.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_02Now we're comparing. I'm healthier than all the no um yeah, actually, I know exactly what you're talking about, and I hate that. And it's like so insane because they're like, I'm gonna wake up, rip my vape, and then not work out for all of the 25 years I've been living. And I'm gonna be, I'm gonna look like I'm like a model.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Oh.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like I I do think part of it is jealousy, but also like fuck you guys. But oh seriously, fuck you.
SPEAKER_02Eating that all the time. Like, I couldn't even do it. I would, yeah. I would feel like that. We already talked about this. Like I need protein and I need a fruit. Yeah. Like I can't do yeah, you are like that.
SPEAKER_04Like, if you did have a do eat like shit and it didn't do anything, I wouldn't be upset. Right.
SPEAKER_02Well, well, that yeah, I should be able to have a sweet treat and it not change anything. Yeah. Right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03It's just not the reality for a lot of people. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_02Skinny fat people. I actually went to school. Yes. I went to school with a lot of skinny fat people. Me too. And like they just wouldn't work out, but they were just like, I know far too many. What?
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_02It was crazy.
SPEAKER_03And then they try to give you advice on like eating health.
SPEAKER_02And you're like, shut the hell up.
SPEAKER_03Literally?
SPEAKER_04They're like, oh, I'm so big right up. Wait, that used to piss me off so bad. That will drive. I hate you bad.
SPEAKER_02Where was this one girl that I ran track with? And she would always say shit like that. She probably weighed 90 pounds soaking weight. And like she would say stuff like about her feeling fat that day or that she felt slow and she was like one of the faster runners on the team. Yeah. And this one girl looked at her and was like, Can you just shut up? Like you make everybody else. That's how I feel. She's like, you make everybody else feel bad when you're the skinniest, fastest bitch here. Like we don't want to hear it. And she was like, Oh. And I'm like, dude, are you wanting us to like feel bad for you? Because we don't. We do not want to.
SPEAKER_03I I don't feel bad even a little bit.
SPEAKER_02I feel bad that you have to say out loud that you think you're fat because you're trying to get attention. Like, what's the thing?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you're trying to because you know you're not fat. You you're like, you have a thigh gap. You're not fat.
SPEAKER_02No. I'm not looking for a thigh gap. No.
SPEAKER_00Me either. Remember that I was in in Tumblr and people would like take pictures at the pool and like people would it'd be like a trend to say like hot dog legs. You guys remember that?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I never had Tumblr, but I do remember that. Like that, like hot dog legs was the goal. That is not my goal. You have a thigh gap with hot dog legs. Like, yeah. You don't remember my goal is that if I wear running shorts, I look like a slut because my legs and butt are too big. That's my thing. Like people who are They wear stuff and it looks cute on them, and then I wear, and it's like, welcome to the fucking slot horror party.
SPEAKER_01TikTok's going viral right now. I haven't seen it. Okay, yeah, but we have to make a TikTok with that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's really funny.
SPEAKER_03That's how I feel too. Anytime I wear like a tight top and tight bottom, I'm like, I'm the biggest whore right now.
SPEAKER_04It's a trend going around where it's like me walking around in like an Osempic like time, and it's like, um, my name is Fat Emmy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. God forbid. And that's the patriarchy, okay? A woman would never create Ozempic. Are you anything? A woman would never create that. Wait, guys, I saw this fucking Adam Scott Dizik. I think he was saying, like, happy birthday to me. Ozempic is $139 a month, and like he looks awful. He looks like so.
SPEAKER_03He's always he's looked bad the past like 10 years. Yeah. He used to be a cute guy. He did.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, ever since they separated, he got in like this car accident. I think he kind of just like stopped taking care of himself. Oh, Jesus. I know. No, but the Ozempic. It was horrible. The Ozempic ad, just like I don't have sympathy for that. You have bajillion dollars. You were married to a family of billionaires and you're doing Ozempic ads. Come on.
SPEAKER_03I keep seeing Ozempic ads from Ian Summerholder and his wife. I forget what his wife said.
SPEAKER_02Wait, that's so disappointing. No, I know. He would look terrible if he got a few. Dude, I know. He should not. Giving skinny fat. If you're on Ozempic, you're giving skinny fat. You are giving skin fat.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because I'm gonna assume you have no muscle.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna assume that you don't. I mean, I know it's it works for some people. Yeah, like have access to the music. Yeah, some people need that need it. But like if you're just a normal person who doesn't work out and doesn't eat well and you're using Ozembek, no! Well cheater! Let's move on to your naughty. Yeah, let's get to my naughty. So my naughty is this one went back to what we were talking about earlier about um like the patriarchy and like about what were we talking about? Technology.
SPEAKER_05Yes.
SPEAKER_02So I saw this TikTok saying that this farmers' cows had not but they kept giving stillbirth to their calves because a data center, like an AI data center, like opened up on like the lawn next to them. And so like the because of the data center, like the the the like the sound waves or whatever it is is like causing stillbirth. It's like their their cattle like can't make babies. These poor mothers.
SPEAKER_00No, that's so sick.
SPEAKER_02Isn't that awful? Like since it opened up, like they haven't had a single calf.
SPEAKER_00That's so horrible.
SPEAKER_02And so then I saw in the comments someone saying that I didn't I do you even know what sound um like noise pollution is?
SPEAKER_03I've never heard about that.
SPEAKER_02Like light pollution, but there's also right there's light pollution, sound pollution, but like in my head, like I thought like like light I don't know the science behind light pollution, but it must do actually some sort of polluting because noise pollution in my head is just like, oh, it's like New York City, it's too loud. But actually Yeah, so noise pollution, uh they I learned that birds chirping in the morning help to notify plants and trees to open their stomata, which starts photosynthesis. So when there's noise pollution and they can't hear the birds, they should know to start like pollinating and photosynthesizing.
SPEAKER_03Oh that's so terrible pollution like harming. That like makes sense, like everything works together, right?
SPEAKER_02And I did not even think about like noise like affecting that in any way, or like light. I never know what it does, but like it can't be good.
SPEAKER_04If it's like too bright, like they don't know when it's nighttime. Right. Like Oh my god! Like that like fucks with like the animals, like internal clock type thing. It probably fucks with us too. It also like fucks up like the stars.
SPEAKER_02Well, that's I know. Yeah, well that's what they say. Like why like you shouldn't be on your phone for like an hour or two before bed because like it'll keep you up. Like the lights. Yeah, like you need to like your body needs to actually like wind up. Yeah, that makes sense. So like I learned that and I was already in a shit mood yesterday. No, that's like that on TikTok and I hear that about the fucking calves and then about like the photosynthesis, and I put my phone down. I was so pissed off because it's like you're helpless. What am I supposed to do about a data style?
SPEAKER_03I don't like I can't we can't do anything about it. That's why it makes me like sick, because like it makes me so sad that these animals are being harmed and the environment is being harmed, but we can't do anything about it.
SPEAKER_02No, because like we also need to survive, but this is the only way we've been taught how.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02We're so helpless as a society. I know, it's so disappointing.
SPEAKER_04Embarrassing.
SPEAKER_02So give us a platform so we can give us a place where we can like I don't know how to help. I want someone to tell me how to help. No, me too, because I don't know. Out of here. I know. And then we would people too surviving. But like, you don't think about it, you're like, oh yeah, like, oh, I'm gonna fucking turn my backlights on because we're gonna sit outside and enjoy the night. It's like, um, actually, that's light pollution and sound pollution to the Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I don't think that see, that like little thing is like not gonna make a difference. Like, there's so many things that yeah that people with a lot of money are saying that like is so much worse than us turning our porch light on with our speaker, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like I know. That's I don't think that would make a difference. Well, that's exactly the thing. It's like we have to try to be as mindful individually because if everyone was being mindful individually, it would change everything. It's like when they like using plastic bags, like if nobody used plastic bags would be more helpful. So like me actually not using plastic bags, it does make a change even though it feels like it doesn't.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, because if everyone thinks like, oh, it's just one plastic bag for myself, but everyone in the whole country is doing that, it's like that's a lot of plastic bags.
SPEAKER_02Thousands and millions of like voting. It's just like voting. Your voice makes a difference. Like, you know, like it's one vote, but it could change everything. Yeah, I agree. Like you but you want everyone to do that. We're talking about everything right now. I know it's very political. Yeah. The best way. Yeah. Yeah. But it's not political when it's like this is just life.
SPEAKER_03That's what I mean. Like everything is political now, unfortunately. But like, I don't think it should be considered that.
SPEAKER_04Because it's just like made to be political for the city.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I know, exactly. But but like, we should care about the cows not having babies. I know. Sorry, I care about that.
SPEAKER_04It's just like it's just you think this stuff would be like common knowledge being like, maybe we want to protect the earth, and maybe we want the calves to be able to have their babies. Right.
SPEAKER_02Like, well, that's the other thing that people like don't think of when they're making inventions is like how it's get like this is gonna affect people. But then they were also saying like data centers, like, okay, so what if they put one in my town? I'm not gonna be able to have a baby. Like, this is gonna affect the world.
SPEAKER_00I know.
SPEAKER_02It's not just affecting the whole house.
SPEAKER_04I can't because this show will make me go crazy. I know.
SPEAKER_02It's like, what can I do? We can't know the world with the podcast. I'm literally like, like, we're gonna have to. All I want is in an apartment, and like, like, that's literally all I want.
SPEAKER_01And we can't even do that. No.
SPEAKER_02Like, we're gonna have to move to like a remote island off the coast of Thailand to get away from like fine.
SPEAKER_01I actually can't. I can't deal with this shit.
SPEAKER_02Well, what about naughty?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we we've had a lot of naughties.
SPEAKER_02Jesus. Should we get into our topics? Yeah, we should. I'm like a little chilly. It's cold in here. I know, yeah. My feet are cold. No. Shut the thing off. I'm fine, I'm fine. It's that white remote. Can you see it? Give that to me.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_02How do you think? These are unsafe working conditions. Um we didn't get it down.
SPEAKER_03Turn off the noise pollution.
SPEAKER_02I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03Alright, so speaking of um the earth.
SPEAKER_04Segway.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Um, I feel like it kind of has to do with what we were talking about. Have you guys heard about the screw, the screw worm epidemic?
SPEAKER_01Oh, what? Okay.
SPEAKER_02You guys are gonna hate this because this is very real. A screw worm. Well, you're talking about something happy. No, just kidding. Go, go, go.
SPEAKER_01I was like, this is not happy, so we might want to pivot.
SPEAKER_02Um I just heard about this the other day, and apparently a screw worm is this like parasitic fly that is like mostly in livestock, but humans can get it too.
SPEAKER_03But basically what it does is it lays eggs in like a body opening. And your nose?
SPEAKER_00It can be your nose, your ears, your eyes, your mouth, a wound, your vagina.
SPEAKER_02The wound a wound can make me gag. Like, literally. How's it getting into my vagina?
SPEAKER_04So no, that that's like those like fish or what are the ones that swim up like guys' penises.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god, yeah. This is worse than that. Oh my god, but if this is worse, yeah, it it gets worse.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, no.
SPEAKER_02If they lay eggs, the larva will get into your skin and it eats your flesh from the inside out. I am telling you right now, if I get that, go buy a gun and kill me. I don't want to stop. I don't want to deal with that. Well, so there's been cases of it in Texas. Warn Hannah. There's cases of it in Texas in, I think, like the cows and like at like some farms, and apparently it's split really quickly. Let's get a few other things. Well, they declared like a state of emergency in Texas or something, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god! Warn Hannah, cover her vagina because it's belt Wait, wait, get them before the chastity belt goes. Oh my god, that's really funny. Inflation is gonna hit the chassis. Inflation's gonna hit the chastity belt quick. Oh no. The chastity belt stock, go buy. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02Go buy the chastity belt stock. Wait, Diva Cups or Might Save Lives. Yep. Shout out Diva Cups.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_03And the period underwear.
SPEAKER_02Period underwear.
SPEAKER_03I feel like that will help, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so I did buy period underwear. And it's still Yeah, it still kind of feels like you're wearing a diaper. Like they're not, they're not like because it's like it's still like padded, right?
SPEAKER_04But did it actually like stop it? Like, did you have any leakage?
SPEAKER_02I didn't even end up bleeding that night, so it was useless. I know. Next time I'll let you guys know. But um, yeah, it's still kind of like I don't feel like I sleep as good when I have a pad on because like I just feel like I have a diaper on. And so I was hoping that like the period underwear were gonna change it for me. Yeah. Still kind of felt like I was sleeping with a diaper on. It was like a little more comfortable because like you're not having the fucking the lip thing. You aren't sticking to your lips. I hate that.
SPEAKER_01You're fucking sticking to your lips and ripping off your coochie hair.
SPEAKER_02Um like it definitely has that as a plus.
SPEAKER_03It looked like rubber though. Was it like rubbery?
SPEAKER_02Do you guys want to see that? Yeah, but I'm pod, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Anyways, while she's doing that. Yeah, back to the screw worm thing. Texas.
SPEAKER_03So literally, Texas declared state of emergency, and Canada said they're gonna stop buying livestock from us. Because it's that bad.
SPEAKER_02Oh. Awesome! Anyways, here's her period underwear. See the back line of it. Oh my god. Like they're kind of they're kind of giving thick. Okay, but I like how it's crossed. You want to touch up. Yeah, it's thick as hell.
SPEAKER_03It's pretty I didn't expect it to feel that way.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Wow. So like it does kind of feel I mean, like, it feels like a normal pair of underwear up here, but like the bottom is giving by just like, you know, like a normal pair.
SPEAKER_04Right, it's not a normal thing.
SPEAKER_02It'll feel like it goes all the way up the butt, which is good when like because you're sleeping and you're like laying down, so it's not gonna fall like directly down here usually. Target. Okay. Maybe I should get a pair. Yeah, they were $12. I said, why not? I might as well check out. Yeah, that's not about it. They don't have any toxic heavy metals. So that's another thing. We do what we can. Tars come by nowadays. Wow, so now I have to worry about worms, rats, bats, and now also the baby cows. But for a different reason.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we're just worrying about everything.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00There's so much to worry about.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, yeah. Anyways, oh there is a new like rom-com type deal. With Jalen? That one too, but another one of mine.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Um it's it's a movie. And so they're um basically like Oh, you don't know?
SPEAKER_02Okay, it doesn't matter. It's not like a big celebrity.
SPEAKER_04No, they are like you'll know their face, but I do not know their name.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_04Like it's like you'll you'll know them. Um actually it's it's the guy who is like dating the teacher or whatever, like the guy was remember when we were.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, we were talking about that movie where like the teenager was dating the teacher.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I don't think it's a big thing. When we were talking about Noah Becky. We've watched the movie through TikTok.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, have you ever seen Love Simon?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, he's in that. Wait, yes, yes, I have. Okay. Yeah, and then this other girl. That's a good movie. Um, so the the He's a cute kid. Is like this guy, this girl is like leaving voicemails to this number. And so like she's like telling it like it just about her day and how she's gonna be like a random number. So this guy gets the phone number, like he gets a new phone and it happens to be linked to this number. Can you get old voicemails? I don't know. So like it's like current voicemails. Like she's still calling. Yeah, like she's still calling to this number, and so he's getting the on the other line. What do you mean you're just sending it to voicemail every time? He's just listening and he's like falling in love with this girl. Like through the voicemail. Wait, yeah, why is he not picking up? Yeah, I have no idea, but like he's falling in with her. Wait, I have a book. And so then one of the voicemails comes through and he she's like, I just miss you so much. Like, I don't know how I can do this like without you. But the phone number is her dead brothers who passed away. And he's like, shit. Like he she thinks she's talking to like she's talking to like her sister who passed. Well, who the fuck is she listening to?
SPEAKER_02Literally that she was talking to.
SPEAKER_04So then he she's like, Oh, like I just like want my guy to like meet me at like this bench and blah blah blah. Like, I just think I would fall in love with him, blah blah blah and he Okay, this guy's a creepy. So then he meets her there. This guy's a creep, but it's a funny thing, like whatever, like a me cute type deal. Okay, I he knows everything that she likes.
SPEAKER_02There's a couple flaws in this story to me. No, me too. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So is it like I think like is it weird, like, does he just go along with just pretending to like know everything? No, a normal person wouldn't do that, though. Right? You'd be like, I I'm the one who like I have your sister's number.
SPEAKER_02Okay, number one, if your sister died and her phone was no longer in use, you wouldn't be able to get to her voicemail. So as the sister, you should know that somebody is on the other end if you're able to get to a voicemail. Yeah. Right. So first of all, I don't believe the story is wrong there. Second of all, if you're gonna be a fucking what? Did she give you the address? You're gonna show up. Yeah, and then then you're gonna pretend that you don't know everything about her. Right. It's that's creepy as hell. Because the friends are like, like you're sucking her. You have to tell her, and then she's gonna want to.
SPEAKER_00You shouldn't even go and meet her.
SPEAKER_02Like in my opinion, the only correct way to do that is if you show up and you say, I've been getting all of your messages and I've heard this. Or crazy idea, just call her back. Right. I think calling her back is the best solution, actually.
SPEAKER_04Or actually send a text so it's at least uh like at least amount of like.
SPEAKER_02But if she wants to talk to her.
SPEAKER_04I know.
SPEAKER_02He doesn't even know what she looks like. It's kind of like Love is Blind.
SPEAKER_04I know. But I was like, what a weird premises, being like, I know everything about you because you've told me. Yeah, you don't know you've told me. And they're making this.
SPEAKER_02This feels like it's gonna be so cheesy.
SPEAKER_04Right?
SPEAKER_02The only way this would work is that it turns into like a serial killer movie from there. Yeah. It's like, oh, it's romance all of a sudden.
SPEAKER_00Here's my prediction. They're gonna meet and like start dating, and then she's gonna find out, and then they're gonna get in a huge fight, and you're gonna be like, oh my god, are they gonna be together or not? And then at the end, she's gonna be like, you know what? Yeah, and then they're gonna be together anymore.
SPEAKER_04She wrote the movie good. That's how I feel like.
SPEAKER_00Because you always need a fight in the middle to be like, are they gonna end up together?
SPEAKER_02There is literally nothing worse to me than a miscommunication trope. I would rather I just want to throw the book away. Wait, yeah. Because it's just because it ends up being so dumb. It's so stupid every time. Yeah, because it's like why if you had just like said what you were thinking, yeah, there would be no miscommunication. Instead, you're being a stubborn little person. Off campus was kind of like that. Yes. And like that, like it really it loses.
SPEAKER_00It's like you guys are f um off campus.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah. It's like they were fighting over like nothing. No. That's what loses me real quick. Yeah. No, you're not.
SPEAKER_03Like they were on the same page, but they were just like, I don't I don't even know.
SPEAKER_02Guys, there's a book that I'm I have on my bookshelf and my to be reds, and it's called The Big Swiss. And it's kind of like the same premise. It's about this woman who writes notes for therapy sessions. And so she has to like listen to the therapy sessions or something and like take notes. I haven't read it yet, so I don't know. But the premise is that like this woman is taking notes and writing about one of the patients, and she ends up like falling in love with this woman, like through her therapy. That's creepy as fuck. That's unless it unethical. Yeah. Right. Like, why are we writing? So I don't know. They must. I mean, I haven't read the book, but they must like meet or something. I don't know what happens, but I'm like, oh my god, this is not a meat cue. I'm telling you, no, this is not meat cue. No, that's freaky.
SPEAKER_03Here's the thing about people is they love a forbidden like romance.
SPEAKER_02I do love a forbidden romance.
SPEAKER_03I I do but that to me is like creepy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02That's not forbidden. That's actually illegal. Yeah, that's it's illegal. That is different. And it's like creepy, like soccery. Yeah. Like that's different than like us being like, I don't know, in rival families. I don't know. Yeah. Romeo and Juliet. Right, right. What was I gonna?
SPEAKER_00I I had one in mind of Forbidden Romance.
SPEAKER_02In my head, Nomeo and Juliet, but I had to say Romeo and Roman. I had to say Romeo. I meant Romeo.
unknownIt's Nomeo.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Have you seen Nomeo and Juliet? Of course. I don't know. Dude, they play the crocketale rock at the end.
SPEAKER_00Yes. I love that song. I don't know how you guys remember details about all these movies. Like, I've definitely seen that one. It's a really good one.
SPEAKER_02And yeah, low-key, like a Scottish accent. Yeah. Wait, I love Scott.
SPEAKER_04Wait, no, uh, uh, isn't it um Taryn um Eggert? I have no idea.
SPEAKER_02Dude, I have no idea who that is.
SPEAKER_04You'll know. He's also um in Singh. He play he he's the gorilla.
SPEAKER_02Oh, love.
SPEAKER_04Voice there. Wait, I actually love the Kingsman movies. Have you seen those? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Oh, he's the Yeah, he's cute. Yeah, I love him. Do you know who I'm not? Oh, of course I don't. You probably would.
SPEAKER_04Um but yeah, he's really cute. Anyways.
SPEAKER_00Um But have you guys um seen or read reminders of him?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it was terrible.
SPEAKER_00Read, read.
SPEAKER_02Reminders of the movie?
SPEAKER_04Why does that sound like the blonde girl?
SPEAKER_02And it's like the high schoolers that are like falling in love, and then it's also like her mom falls in love with her uncle. Wait, the point who's gonna be like, it's not in sushi. That's regretting you. Oh, regretting you. Oh, I I've heard that so bad. Reminders of you? I read that. Reminders of him. Reminders of him. Isn't that where like he lit the one? No. I don't know this man. You don't know how to do it. Is that the one where he's the one who lit the house on fire and she got burned?
SPEAKER_00No. Let me tell you. Let me tell you what it is.
SPEAKER_02Wait, but this this book actually goes with what we're talking about. What book does? The book that I'm talking about. Oh, November 9 is what it's called. I never the guy like lights this house on fire. I actually can't even remember. I read it so long ago. And he lit the house on fire because he was like pissed off about something, and then this girl, this girl ends up like getting really bad burn wounds, and then um they end up falling in love, and then you find out that like he knows that he's the one who like gave her the wounds, and then she's like pissed off because she's like, this whole time you fell in love with me and you knew that you were the one who set the house on fire, they didn't end up being together. Yeah, that's like a forbidden normally. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. That book was good. You guys should actually read that. I do. I just do like a calling.
SPEAKER_04I think I have your copy of my house.
SPEAKER_02I don't have November 9. Do I? Actually, you you might have it. I you I you literally gave it to me. Okay. I think I have it. You have a lot of my books you need to read.
unknownI know.
SPEAKER_02I'll read that next. I need. Well, I kind of actually don't want to tell you because it's actually like a good plot, and I don't want to ruin it if you ever watch it. What book is it? Reminders of him. I definitely read it. The movie just came out, yeah. Yeah, I definitely read it.
SPEAKER_00Okay, well, basically, this um woman is in jail because she Oh yes!
SPEAKER_02This is a good one. Okay, yeah, this is good, but the movie just came out. Did you see it? It came out in March.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I watched it with my mom the other day.
SPEAKER_02The movie. Yeah, it's hard to get the body in there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's hard when you read the book because you're like, it was so much better in my head.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But I think if you're like, That's how I felt about regretting you. It was shit.
SPEAKER_02The book was pretty good, but the movie was garbage. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And I hate being that person like the book was so much better. But like it always sounds so much so much better.
SPEAKER_04What about the other um Colleen Hoover book? W um with Blake Lively. It ends with us. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Well, they missed some of the best anyways. That's definitely a universal. I read this new book. I just finished it last night. It's called Remarkably Bright Creatures, and the movie just came out on Netflix. Did you watch it?
SPEAKER_04No, I I haven't yet, my mom said I was gonna cry.
SPEAKER_02Okay, and everyone's gonna cry. I predicted the ending a quarter of the way through. And so the whole book, I'm waiting for something big to happen, and I'm like, I've already figured it out. And so the ending was I hate when that happens. Okay, yeah, duh.
SPEAKER_04Did you watch the movie too?
SPEAKER_02No, I haven't. I wanted to finish the book first. Yeah. Oh. And so, like, it is a sweet story, but like, yeah, no shit. Obviously, this is what would happen. Yeah. It was just like a book when it's obvious, I'm like, you've pissed me off. Yeah, when it's communication trope, an obvious ending, you've lost me. I know, because I love a plot twist. I love that. Like, I love when I'm predicting two characters to be together. Colleen Hoover. Colleen Hoover is a very good about. She's good about plot twist. Like Verity. Sarah J. Mass. Yeah. Sarah J. Mass. I lost my fucking vibe. I hope you guys are book nerds because I'm not sure. Yeah. Otherwise, you're not gonna nerd. I don't read books and I read that shit in a day. Yeah. Yeah. And then I she gave it to me the same day she finished, and I finished it the next day. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03No, I think I read it in like a day or two.
SPEAKER_02Because if you're not a book nerd, none of this is gonna make any sense. You better do that movie. I don't actually know if I can watch it. It looks scary. The movie the book is scary. The book is freaky. That's why I finished it in one day because I was like, it's making me feel creepy. So I need to finish it. Yeah, I was like stressed to keep feeling this way. Yeah. So I think watching the movie is gonna really freak me out.
SPEAKER_03I think it's gonna be so good. I love a like, what is that? What kind of movie is that called? Like psychological.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, thriller. Yeah, I love it. Like, I don't love a psychological thriller in my life, and I didn't sleep for a week. So I can't shit is scary.
SPEAKER_04Did you guys read Jar of Hearts? No. No. That's another one where it's like the same level as scary. Like that shit freaked me out. And the ending couldn't have told you from a mile away. I reckon it's a little bit more. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_02See, that's what I love is when I can't see it coming. I felt that way about the nightingale.
SPEAKER_03Did not see it coming at the end. The nightingale, I was like, the whole book.
SPEAKER_02I was like, That's also how I felt about the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo. The ending of that now. Are you? I'm reading it now. I was I have it in my library, do you? I have one. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_03I literally have. I've started it multiple times and I couldn't get into it.
SPEAKER_02I don't know why. You gotta get into it.
SPEAKER_03I know.
SPEAKER_02That's how I felt about the Remarkly Bright Creatures, and I was proven that it was boring at the end.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02It was like an e it's like an easy read that you just sit on the beach, but like it was like, I'm not gonna recommend it to anyone. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I hate that kind of book when you have to like force yourself to finish it.
SPEAKER_02I know. I know. So shall we get into our question of the week? Yeah, we should. Let's talk it over. Yeah. Okay. People on Instagram are weird though. Okay. So our question of the week. Oh yeah. Would you rather have your group message group chat messages leaked or your dating app messages leaked? What did you guys say?
SPEAKER_00I actually forgot to answer, but I think I would say my dating app.
SPEAKER_02I would too.
SPEAKER_00Because I don't really have a lot of messages.
SPEAKER_01Or you would say in your dating apps. I just feel like sometimes like when you're in that headspace, it gets cringe.
SPEAKER_00It can get cringy really fast.
SPEAKER_04I'm like, oh my god.
SPEAKER_00And if you're like, if anyone else were to read this, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like that's like sometimes like when I was like talking to that guy and I was like asking for advice, I'm like, Ew, yeah, because I hate flirting over text.
SPEAKER_02It's so cringy. It's so good. That's how I feel scared if I ever went on Love Island. Like watching it back, I'd be like, no, I'm not the same. You know what scare me about Love Island is the challenges. Like I could not do that shit and be like, You want me to fucking dry hump disguise? Yeah, literally. No. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04But like the th I couldn't do it to my girls. Like, I would rather my like dating app be like expose the girls.
SPEAKER_00Well, yeah, because I don't know what's in there and I I don't want everyone knowing.
SPEAKER_02We're not even saying like the things we're just saying would be like it would just be the people who we know just shouldn't hear it. Yeah. Like yesterday, my kids. Yeah, we're name dropping. We have a cousin's group chat where it's just the girls. And yesterday we were talking about we were talking about off campus and how the scene where Hannah like walks into the locker room and all the guys are butt naked. Yeah. And ha most of them are uncircumcised. Full frontal. I know. Which we found out the shock is all real. Yeah. Full frontal is like actually them. Full frontal. Full frontal. And I was shocked how many of them were uncircumcised. All of them. Because I feel like that's not very common. And so then we were talking about like how scary it would be to like start hooking up with somebody and then them be uncircumcised. Because like what I don't, yeah, I've never done anything with that. Right. And then my cousin was like, oh, well, actually, like you can't tell. We were like, well, I feel yeah. Let me get my notebook. Yeah, like what do you mean? And like when they're hard. Yeah, when they're hard, like you can't tell that they're uncircumcised because it yeah, it literally grows out of the skin. And so I didn't like that visual. Yeah, well, it's the truth. So like you literally can't tell. But like I'm in my head. Like in my head, I'm picturing it to look like when you have high socks on and you push them down and it's like bunched up at the bottom. What?
SPEAKER_00The whole time you thought it was.
SPEAKER_02Oh, you think that like the skin just hanging out? Because there's the skin there's a reflex at the bottom. The foreskin covers the entire penis, okay? So in my head, I'm picturing when it grows. It literally just like goes to the bottom of the shaft. And it's just grouped up. Does it though? See, I don't know. It scrunches at the bottom. We were literally like let us know.
SPEAKER_03I feel like maybe it just stretches out.
SPEAKER_02I feel like I don't know, it comes out because the head comes out of the do you guys know what it looks like? Yeah, I know what I know what it looks like. I've never it literally is like a sock covering it, right? So there's an opening at the top. Yeah. So like it comes out.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02It literally comes out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, I I know what you mean, but I don't know if the skin would fall to the bottom.
SPEAKER_02Like, because otherwise, where would it go? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's like a pushback.
SPEAKER_02Like, I feel like it'll bunch at the bottom.
SPEAKER_04I feel like it probably would. Like, there'd probably be a few.
SPEAKER_03I'm just picturing it like just expanding so that you can't tell that there's extra skin.
SPEAKER_04I feel like it wouldn't be as noticeable, but like. But then what?
SPEAKER_02Like, but then when it's yeah, because you're going in and out of somebody and the skin's gonna move.
SPEAKER_03No, you're right. Yeah, because it's still there. Yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_02So I'm picturing it like a fucking leg warmer. Yeah. At the bottom. And so she was like, wait, I need to do more research. I was like, yeah, so you go and figure that out. And then you come back to us and let us know. So I'm leaking our own. Because now the whole podcast needs to know. But um, I would choose dating apps because let me read one. Let me read what I said. Oh. Um, because I I Hinge and I are pretty much breaking up.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I like don't really answer people.
SPEAKER_02I I like to so quickly all these guys match with me. It's more like, and then I just don't answer. It's just them talking to themselves. Yeah, they're just talking to themselves. Oh my god. I just blocked somebody on Instagram because this guy would always just message me and he'd like slide up on my stories and I don't know him. He like knows somebody that I know and I have no connection to him. And so he just keeps lighting up and I'd never once responded, but he just keeps saying shit.
SPEAKER_00I think you showed me him before.
SPEAKER_02And so then I finally just blocked him yesterday because I was like, stop messaging me. You've messaged me 50 times and I've never answered, and I'm just trying to be polite. Yes. He's like, You're so hot. Oh, hey, gorgeous. You know what? Sometimes persistence is key because I might reject you once, but if you keep coming back, I might be like, okay. But persistence is only key if you're cute.
SPEAKER_03No, it's true.
SPEAKER_02So he wasn't doing it for me, so now you're freaking me out. Yeah. Now you're creepy. Yeah, it's creepy. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. So we've decided. So we're we're we're So what did you say?
SPEAKER_00You said dating app. What did you vote? Yeah, what you said group chat?
SPEAKER_02You would out our group chat. I mean, we don't say anything bad, I guess, but No, I think I I No, tell us not to leak the I don't I no part of me.
SPEAKER_00You don't want to leak either.
SPEAKER_01She she said group chat. She gets a receipt. That's dead. She's like, but it's no part of me wants to leak my my hinge messages. Yeah. Now I want you to read one of his channels.
SPEAKER_02I like group chat.
SPEAKER_01I don't want to. I don't want to.
SPEAKER_00Wait, can you read one?
SPEAKER_02Okay, while she's looking, I'll tell you what our people said. Yeah. So overall, we had 18% said leak the group chats, and 82% said dating abs. And we had a few write-ins that were fucking cracking me up. And this one person said, if my group chat messages got leaked, I'd have to go into witness protection, unfortunately, with the hard emoji. I was like, wait, this is actually incredible because well, yes. Because I don't even know what's in there. Like, it also spans back like years. Like, and you know what? Like, you can't get canceled when you're talking to your friends. Ari's face. I'm scared about what she's reading over there. Like, I really feel confident that I could tell you guys anything. Yeah, no, and you guys would be like, well, yeah, let's let's dissect that. Yeah. Okay. Another person who wrote it and said, Oh my gosh, my group chat is a work group chat. So if it got leaked, we would be in deep trouble. Oh, straight to HR. The fact that Sarah and I stayed at work as long as we did is incredible. We'd be messaging on fucking Teams like I hated you. Yeah. Literally, like with our supervisor, like next to each other at using the computers at work. Bruh.
SPEAKER_01Okay guys.
SPEAKER_02Okay, let's go. Oh, okay. Let's let's hear this.
SPEAKER_01So epic bad. So bad.
SPEAKER_04I so he like said uh um uh what?
SPEAKER_01She's nervous. Like a video dancing, like on his thing, and it was like silly.
SPEAKER_02The fact that you match up him and he was dancing is killing me.
SPEAKER_04So I thought it was silly. And I and I I said, yeah, I like that. See, but that's my other issue.
SPEAKER_02Is that like I feel like I need to send a voice memo because like they're not gonna hear it the way that I'm saying it. Same. And so then Because I'm like sarcastic over Texan here. And a lot of the times when I say thank you, I'm like, thank you. Yeah, but like they're not hearing it like that. Like, thanks so much. Yeah, thank you. Yeah, so I'm not hearing it like that.
SPEAKER_04And he goes, Yeah, do you see the 14 beers on the table? I said, Oh, makes sense. But he said, But the real question is, would you dance like that sober? In a better headspace.
SPEAKER_02I said, In a better headspace. See, I want to hear how he's saying it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I'm like, and then I'm like, Yeah, what does that mean? Okay, we'll have to see about that then.
SPEAKER_02In a better headspace, are you in a bad headspace? I know.
SPEAKER_04What does he mean?
SPEAKER_02I'm scared. What kind of headspace are you in?
SPEAKER_04There were never any responses out of my eyes.
SPEAKER_02No, read us, read us a flirty one. This one is in the hall. She's trying to like give us like an easy one. No, give us one where you're fucking slutting it up in the chat. I don't have any games.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we never do that. No, no, no. Because now they're boring, and like this guy's just been talking to me about football for weeks.
SPEAKER_02So uh, if you want a boyfriend, it's legal. Like, don't talk to me about football. Yeah, I'm not the one.
SPEAKER_04Like, I can hang. Like, I can talk. I know football. I watch football. I could talk about anything. I don't want to, though. I can talk about it, but it's like, in first of all, not even a path. First of all, I hate you.
SPEAKER_02And then Kirk Cousins?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and then I'm like, oh, we're not even, you're not even gonna like I've been talking to you about like football for like three days now and you haven't asked me my number.
SPEAKER_02You're so fucking boring. No, this is what I'm saying. If a man who's on the wrong side of the interest like into something, like that's the only thing he's into. I'm like, I'm sorry. Do you need help setting up your grinder profile? That's my thing. Yeah, because like I don't think I'm the one.
SPEAKER_03I'm not the one to talk about football with.
SPEAKER_02Like, because there are a lot of girls who love football, and I think that's awesome. I actually don't fully know the rules, and I hate that as like a former athlete that I can't do. Sometimes it's fun to watch. I do, yeah, I like football. It gets fucking boring. As much as the next girl, but I'm not basing every Sunday, Monday, Thursday around it. No, no, no, no. See, the fact that we've talked about it for three days. I had this picture of me and I was like skiing, and Hannah's like, oh, put that on your hinge. And I was like, no, because I don't want a man who only likes skiing to like my profile because they're all like every single day in the winter they're only want to go skiing, and I don't want to date someone like that.
SPEAKER_04Like, I like football. Like I do, but I don't be watching every game.
SPEAKER_02No. Like, definitely not.
SPEAKER_04Because I'll like I'm a Pats fan, of course. Because New England, but like I like to watch an in an Eagles game or a Bills game. Yeah. But it's like, I don't know all the rules.
SPEAKER_00I'm like the second football is brought up, like I'm zoning out. Like, I'm that's how I feel, especially during the city. I have nothing to add.
SPEAKER_04Like I can hang, but I don't want it to be your only personality.
SPEAKER_02Honestly, I I prefer to learn stuff about football via ESPN social media because I don't want to sit there and watch it, but I I don't mind hearing like this person said this in an interview. Give me the tea. I want to know. Yeah, okay. Yeah. Also, I love like they had this new Netflix show called Quarterback. Like, anytime there's like a sports documentary and you get like the behind the scenes, like I'm locked in. Sports documentaries I'll watch. Something about the Aaron Hernandez. That was crazy. Wait, actually, contact. I actually low-key stand with Aaron Hernandez. What? No, I think. He's a serial killer. I feel bad for him. I think he's CTE. Yeah, but I killed like multiple people. I think if he didn't have CTE, he wouldn't have killed anyone. Chat, what is CTE? CTE? It's your. I don't know what it stands for. It's called uh something uh it's like brain damage. Oh it's like playing football. Yeah, like sports athletes. Let me tell you the technical. Like brain damage. It's like a traumatic brain injury. CTE.
SPEAKER_00Like your brain basically, like, I think it starts making your frontal lobe like Okay, it's chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
SPEAKER_02That a progressive degenerate brain disease found in people with history of repetitive head trauma. So he's like getting his brain smashed in all the time. Like he's losing brains is degenerative.
SPEAKER_00But like Yeah, I don't know. Because I think even if I had brain damage, I wouldn't want to kill someone.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah, it's definitely a man. Yeah, so that's the other thing. Yeah, when I I I don't think I've watched it since high school, but at the time I felt bad for him. Yeah. But he ended up killing himself so that his daughter would get all the money. Really? Yeah, because if he yeah, wait, there were there was like a debate whether he was murdered or if he killed himself. Oh, really? I might be thinking of Jeffrey Epstein. Don't quote me on that. No, but he like hung himself in his cell because if he didn't I don't understand, I don't understand how. Yeah, he got convicted. I don't understand how, like, if he were to die a normal way, he wouldn't have gotten the money or something like that. Or maybe he wanted her to have the money now. I can't remember. But he's not a big thing.
SPEAKER_03No, yeah, and you're remembering something about that too. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Can you hear my stomach?
SPEAKER_03I heard that.
SPEAKER_02It's like an ultrasound. Yeah. Okay, guys, I don't actually stand with serial killers, but I I've tried to re- Are you just saying that because he's hot?
SPEAKER_01I was like, only the hot one.
SPEAKER_02She's like, tap button and you really burner's new Netflix Hulu special. Oh. Giggly Squad.
SPEAKER_04Oh, sorry. Shit.
SPEAKER_02Giggler. Hannah and she just, she's so fucking funny. And she was like, in my field, I am unbelievably hot. She's like, me and serial killers have a lot in common. Okay? Because I can be average, but in my field, I'm super hot. And I was thinking about that bunny because everyone thinks he's hot. He's literally ugly. He's not, yeah. He's literally ugly. He's not even hot for a serial killer version of him. Yeah. Yeah. I know. But like they're acting like, yeah, I just don't think he's cute even a little bit. There's also looking.
SPEAKER_00You can see the evil behind his eyes.
SPEAKER_02He has crazy eyes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, nothing is cute about that.
SPEAKER_02No. They got that look.
SPEAKER_00He definitely has that look for sure.
SPEAKER_02What are you doing? Okay, guys. No, I don't believe in murder, but I did feel a little like CTE, like that does fuck you up bad. I I think so.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean, don't clip that. Yeah. No, that was okay.
SPEAKER_03Well, we'll know if we ever get it. Hopefully we don't.
SPEAKER_02We don't play football. We're not getting our heads hidden repeatedly. No, you're right. Like boxers, uh, football players, like soccer players, honestly, who head the ball a lot. But you don't play professionally. Like you're not playing for 40 packages. You have to get like multiple. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04It didn't tell anyone.
SPEAKER_02I was gonna oh.
SPEAKER_00I was yeah, like you have to get like multiple concussions like that.
SPEAKER_04I literally think you can have like four. And um yeah. I know.
SPEAKER_02Unfortunately, that was very common in high school, and at the end of the day, it's like it's not that fucking like everyone. Everyone had a fucking concussion. Yeah, at the time sports feels like the only thing that matters. Because like in your head, your life is only 15 years long. So high school is a quarter of your life. Yeah. And so you're thinking like this sport is the only thing that matters. I broke I broke my spine. High school in general was like the only thing that mattered.
SPEAKER_04Like sprained ankles and like concussions.
SPEAKER_02Right. So then you end up getting older and you realize that like those that four years is like such a small part of your life that like if you really couldn't play in for your brain health, it doesn't it's not that big of a deal, but at the time it feels like everything. So yeah, no, that might be a lot of people. Well, just your health in general. Like I didn't really care. Right. I was really worried about it. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Wait, my my right ankle is like that too.
SPEAKER_02Like, you can like hear the cackling.
SPEAKER_00Same. I'm like, and it like hurts.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I think I made it.
SPEAKER_00My left, my right ankle.
SPEAKER_02Well that's how I feel about my back. Like I kept playing volleyball and now I have to sleep with a pillow between my knees, like I'm on drugs. So pregnancy pillow. Like, I nearly bought a pregnancy pillow the other day because I think it would have would help me more than just a pillow.
SPEAKER_04I would sleep with that, but I would like hold it. Like, I would like to.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, there's this one on TikTok right now that's like moon-shaped. It would actually be perfect. Like it'll go under your head and then it's like a crescent between your knees. And you nugget? Yeah, it was like a lot of it was like a hundred dollars. Is it holy shit? I bet you got paid jugging! Yeah. Oh my god. Yeah. So wow. We um we covered a lot of things.
SPEAKER_04We literally covered everything. Yeah. So uh get your chastity belts before they rub. Get a snack before they sell out.
SPEAKER_02Get a fucking snack because I'm hungry. Yeah, and um Ari, where can we find you? Find me at AriDemain.10. Find me at Sarah Bennett, 2S, 3Ts. You can find me everywhere at Kara Kellher, and you can all have everywhere at the Talk Over Pop. Yes. Follow. Like, subscribe, subscribe. Comment the chat, City Belt emoji. SPEAKER_01An emoji.
SPEAKER_02Well, guys, we love you.
SPEAKER_01Love you. See you next week. Next Wednesday.
SPEAKER_04Bye.
