This episode is all about girls’ weekend, which, for us, is basically every weekend. With us being at the beach we passionately encourage everyone to wear sunscreen, unless you want to have rubber skin. We then propose a hard-hitting question: where do we draw the line between “short king” and “munchkin?” We may not have the answers, but we definitely have opinions!!

Welcome to the Talk Talk Talk Hover Podcast. Welcome back. And we're at the beach again. Yes. Of course. So we're probably gonna have a lot of episodes this summer where we're at the beach. Yeah. And I'm fine with that. Me too. Can you tell? We're we're looking tanner, I think. I think so. I think you guys are. I think you're looking tanner. You do look at it. Are you lying? She's like you really beat me. No, I think you guys look good. I did I got burnt here yesterday. It'll be land right on my boob. It'll be chocolate before you know it, don't it? Yeah. Exactly. We've we've been busy. We've been relaxing, but we've been working. Oh. We actually have been working. We did a photo shoot yesterday. Our photo shoot turned out so good, guys. It we executed it perfectly. No, it was such a last-minute planning. And it you would have thought we planned this for months. I think so. You know what? I think it looks like we did plan it for months. Yeah. Hey, so we scratched up. We planned this for months. And it looks really good. You guys have probably already seen it on our social media because we posted it. We shared it with like all the time. If you haven't, go like it. Yeah, go like it. Just like the funniest comments I've ever heard of. Yeah. No, they turned out super good, and I'm very happy. Yeah. Yeah. All we had was a Pinterest board and a dream. Yeah. And it came in life. I know. So we're basically wearing, well, me and Kara are wearing like that. Yeah, we're wearing pretty much. Actually, I didn't wear this. No, you changed your magic. I'm wearing exactly what I wore in the photo shoot yesterday. Yeah. Pretty much. But we looked very beachy. We're trying to give like 60 vibes. And we executed it. Like there's nothing better. We've already said this on the podcast. Like having a beach day, coming back with photos to edit, and like sitting around and like having a glass of prosecco. No, that was. We put them on the TV. Perfect proseco. It's like my dream. Put them on the girls now. Yeah. We watched the videos and then we took our glasses of Prosecco and walked over to the beach and watched the sunset. And we just had girl talk. We had some serious girl talk. Honestly. Like nothing was better than that. That was my dream. Oh, so there's a ghost. Hey, hey, so the door just opened by itself. I wish that was on the camera. That was scary. Yeah, right, right, right, right. So it's probably the win. Yeah, seriously. Yesterday was my dream day. I know. Like we had a great day. Yesterday was like the epitome of a girl's day. Yeah. We had I want to have a million more of those. I know. It was so good. Like morning chill, beach vibes. Beach day. I mean, dinner where we only get appetizers and drinks. Yes. That's like my appetizers and drinks is like photo shoe. My favorite words. Going through all of our photos and then girl talk. On the sunset on the sunset. And we were talking until like the sun went down and it was like. We also went for a beach walk. I forgot about that. We did go for a beach walk. Oh, we did. We actually did so much yesterday. Ugh. Literally my dream. And we keep calling it girls' weekend, but it's only ever only ever. Yeah, because we don't want to hang around moment. It's Girls Weekend 24-7. Yeah, every weekend we're hanging out. We're like, oh my god, Girls Weekend. Oh no shit. You guys are all single as fuck. Oh. It's fine. I could live the rest of my day. And like we said, we had the best day ever. So I'm not complaining. So me either. And you know what? Someone that's staying next door, they came up with their friend, and her friend got in a fight with her husband. Oh my god. It ruined the first day of girls'. Yeah, she went to bed at like 6 p.m. And we were like, this is why we need around boyfriends. Yeah. Oh say so. Oh, the doors gotta go. We're taking off the hinges. What the hell lost its privileges. Wow. Well, speaking of Hottie Girls Weekend. Yeah. Let's get into our Hoddies and Hoddies. Alright. Okay, Ariana Marie, hit us with your hottie. We'll get it going. Um, my hottie is when people find their passion from a young age. Hey, I'm gonna cry. Like that's honestly amazing when that happens. It is amazing. It's just so like when you know what you want to do and you're like, why can't I start now? That's awesome. My little cousin, little, he's 13. Um, like literally in high school, but he's like, Yeah, I want to be a barber. Like, I want to cut a bar. Oh, I love it. Like, he's like, I want to cut hair. Like, super cool. Yeah, he's like, This is like a great business, and why can't I start now? Yeah. He literally has a he bought like a bunch of stuff. Well, he invites his friends over. See, it's like I was not thinking about a career that when I was 13. He invites his friends over, it has a little setup in his garage, and he cuts their hair, and he he just created an Instagram. Wait, I'm like, he's posting the pictures. I'm like, I'm so proud of it. Does he does he charge his friends or he's just practicing for now? I think it's like more of like a practice. I love this is like he's loving it, so it doesn't matter. But I I just think it's that's really people are so cool. Yeah, it's so cool. But you can't do it. I just don't know how people figure it out that early because I really wasn't thinking about that at all. Well, at this point, there's like so many options too. Like I feel like there wasn't as many. Right. So it was like, oh my god, I'm gonna be a teacher. Yes. It's like me. Or like a vet. You figure out like, wait, there's so many other things I could do. Like Liam, he like since I don't even know how long he's wanted to be a doctor. Yeah. And now that's like going into his second year of med school. That's so cool. Because I feel like I thought about things like that when I was younger, but like I never committed to just action. I feel like, yeah, I feel like there's a very big difference. It's like either you know exactly what you want to do or you try a hundred things, and we're just on the path where we try a thousand things, which is also fine, but it is cool and people just know. It's so I feel that way about like celebrities. Like, I don't know how they just they just knew that they were bound to do something big. Like they've been so cool. They were child actors starting out. Right at the age of five. Like, that's crazy. Like Taylor Swift swinging the nationally at them when she's like 12. Yeah, she always knew what she wanted to do. Like super cool. Selena Gomez, she's been out forever. Like, I just don't know how to crazy no way that young. But I just love like when people like fully like they'll be. That's awesome. I love this, and I'm gonna like go into it. But yeah, I saw his Instagram and I was like, Wait, send that to me. I want to follow him. That's really cute. He's like doing a good job. I was like, wait, of course he is like really good at this. Like he should be. So by the way, you're on. It's like five more years, he's like he's literally high school, so I'm like literally like when you're out. You can charge all of your friends in high school to get haircuts. Yeah. Also, but that's a great side hustle. He won't go to college because he'll go to barber school. Right. It's so cool though. I was gonna say he can charge all of his friends in college, but yeah. Oh, that's all his friends at barber school. No, but that's gonna be like so nice because like it's just good to have like my aunt was a hairdresser, and so like we would all just like all the cousins be hanging out, like, line up one by one. We're all getting our hair cut real quick. So like he's gonna be at his friend's like house. It's gonna be like their wedding day, and he's gonna be like, Let me line you up real quick. Like it's super sweet. I love that. That is sweet. Yeah, love that. That is a good hottie. Thank you, Sarah. All right, actually, I know what my hottie is, but he's like putting that away. It's like one of the only things that's really been a hottie for me. Oh when a guy, when you're with a guy in like a crowded area and he leads you through people, like hey, okay, let me rephrase that. Yeah. I feel so dainty, and I'm like, I don't like when you're like holding hands, but he's leading you through a crowd. Yeah. Love that. Hey, so like so hot. It's literally so hot. But you're like barely holding on. Like, no, I'm gripping on. I'm not getting on. Oh, I'm gripping on. Something about it is just like I don't like he's marking his territory or something. Yeah, I love that. He's leading command. Yeah, it's command. He's getting out of his way for you. He's at the coming. Something about it is so hot. Yeah, I love that. Yeah. That's a good hot thing. Yeah, so I really experienced that recently. No, but I have experienced it in my life. And you've just been thinking about it. Yeah. I don't know why. I will be thinking about it. Yeah, I actually did that to a guy once. Like, I was the one leading stop me with the girls on girls' night. I'm like, let's go. No, I'm the tallest one. But after we like, Kara, please. But it was like before we like had started like dating. Like, we had it was like our second date or something, and I did that, and we got out of the building. It was like, that was the hottest thing I've ever experienced. He's like, wait, I like that you're taking some. He said, I'm submissive. Yeah. Okay.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So it's hot both ways. I guess it is, yeah. I love that. I like that a lot. My hottie, um My hottie is any version of a glee song. Like, I think I really believe that every song should have a glee version. Wait, I pretty much it does though. Yeah, or like an acoustic or like some kind of version like that. Like I've been I just started Glee recently. No, glee. And I literally wanted to cry the other day. There's something about like live music. It just makes me cry. It makes me like teary-eyed. Yeah. Well, it's like there's like a story behind why they're singing the song too. So it's like you have the connection to the song. Oh my god, she started singing um Gives You Hell. And I was like, Wait, okay, that's a good song for them this time. And she's like screaming in his face because he loved her. Like, period. Dude, like I hope it gives you hell. That's a great one. We have such good quotes. Every day I'm assaulted by fatties and that's from Glee. I just watched that episode and she was like, I just won one day a year where I'm not visually assaulted by uglies and fatties. She's like, So if you're horrific to look at, can you just stay inside? She's like, going, someone needed to be killing me. Someone needs something like that. I was like, well, I thought that quote was from Abby Lee Miller. Wait, honestly, she would say something like that. No, it's to Sylvester. And then she like has this thing called like Yeah. She like she like has like a news report for like a gym teacher. And she has like a news report on the news. Oh, yeah, I think it is just in general. Like it's not just for the school. No, it's like an actual news feed, and it like the camera cuts and she walks over to like one of the other anchors and was like, that was about you, by the way. Like she's so blind with these people. I love her. She's the one with the like blonde short hair. Yeah. Yeah. I love her. Yeah, and she like walks then she's just hilarious in that show. She like walks up to like this teenager with long hair and she just cuts his ponytail off. She's like, I'm gonna donate this because you just look so ugly and stupid with it. Wait, me with Sincere from Love Island? Yeah. No, because he looks so much better when it's in a bun. Yeah, because he actually has a good face color. Well, because you see his lineup too. Come on. The man with a good lineup. But like he's just pissing me off right now. Oh, he's pissing me off too. Speaking of a bunch of things. Oh yeah, pissing me off. Yeah, what's your naughty? Oh. Oh. Um. Oh. Oh. My naughty is like when you're getting ready in the morning and like nothing, like your outfit is just not satisfying. Like what you want. So now I'm putting on 10,000 shirts, 10,000 pants, they're all scattered on my floor, on my bed. And then you also have to clean that up. And you're sweating. Oh I'm sorry. And you're like, nothing looks good at this point. Oh, I'm not going. Oh no, I'm not. Oh, I can't. I'm not going. At this point, I'm just gonna do it. And then I end up with the same effing shirt that I put on the first time. Yeah, because then you just go with your safe root, and then you're like, well, I'm pissed because I wanted to do something. Literally, I want to do something fun. And then I have to clean up. No. Oh, hey, so I'd rather burn my room down. Yeah, I'm not cleaning up. I'll see you in eight hours after my shift. No. That's so I'm sleeping on top of my clothes. I do not care. Literally. No, that's a great naughty because then someone asked me, Hey, are you ready? Hey. Oh my god.

unknown

Get out!

SPEAKER_00

Hey, get out! Literally get out. No, that will because now I'm like sweating and I'm hot. And I'm busted. And you're like, and nothing looks good enough. I'm locking my door, but I'm not gonna leave without me, I'll be there in an hour. Like, please. That shit is so much. Because I am like very particular about like what I wear. Yeah. Yeah, no. But like sometimes it's just like especially like if you're on your period. I'm like, dude, nothing. I'm on my period, I'm not wearing anything. I look awful, and like I probably look totally fine, and I'm like, I feel huge. Wait, I always wonder that too. Because if other people notice me, or is it like I think it's just like personal because like I never think that you guys look different, really. That's so true. Yeah. Yeah, no, I don't know. Some days I'm like, hey, so I hate everything that I've done. Yeah, I've actually never been uglier in my life. Yeah. And it's weird because you could have worn the same exact outfit like two weeks earlier and it looked like an employee. I'm like, what? What what changed? My my mentality. Literally, like nothing's working. My hair looks bad. Like, I can't. A bad hair day? Hey, I'm going bad on my head. Yeah. Like literally. Call your barber, cousin. Yeah. We're cutting it off. Gotta go. That would job me. But that's really how I feel some days, and I'm like, hey, mm-mm. Lose my mind. No, I don't. I really wicked naughty. Wicked naughty. Wicked naughty. Okay. Oh, someone's calling me. Gotta go. Hey, it's pod time. People keep calling me and like asking who I voted for. I'm like, can you take me off the list? Have you stopped asking me? No, I voted. Leave me alone. Go to my Instagram and figure it out. Go to my hint profile, you'll see. Literally. Okay. Um, oh. Finding. Wait, my brain doesn't work right now. Finding someone unattainable attractive. That's my naughty. Unfortunately, I believe anyone's attainable to me.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Well, let let me say what made me think of this. Oh, yeah. Um, Ilya from Heated Rival. Or when they're gay. Because he's gay. Yeah. It's like literally like. That is unattainable. Who's in that guy? Wait. The mustache guy? No. Grof. Uh, Jonathan. Oh, Jonathan Groff! I'll never get over him. Wait, who literally never get over him? He's gay. He's gone. He's gorgeous, and he has the most beautiful voice you've ever heard. He's literally the king in Hamilton. The guy who also plays Christoph. Oh, yeah. But he's in glee. I just saw him again. He's in glee and he plays. You're like, oh my god. And he's wicked young and he plays like this hot. He's in the other king. He's like the rival school. Yeah, he's at the rival school. And he's like, Is he gay in the show? No. I don't know. He's true. He's a good thing. Well, he's talking to gay. I was like, am I spoiling this for you? No, but they like start dating or whatever. Yeah, yeah. What's her name? Rachel? Yeah. Barry. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, so they like, and he looks so good in it. He's like exactly what he looks like. Let me show you a picture of the guy. He's so gorgeous. And I love his voice. Yeah. He's just gorgeous. Okay, so I I do understand what you're saying now. That's what I mean. Like, he is unattainable. And like celebrities, it's like it actually makes sense. Like Caleb Turner, like he's literally married now. That's what I mean. Like, I'm pissed. You're unattainable. Yeah. Okay, I understand. Look at how cute he is back then. Wow, he's really cute. I mean, he's cute now, but like he's giving straight presenting here. He was. So he like is he looks really good at that. He looks like that. Like I could eat him up. Yeah, I could eat him up. Ugh. Hey. Yeah, see now he's unattainable to me. We need to talk about something else. I'm sad. Yeah, we have we must move on. Yeah, this is him now. He's still cute. He is cute. She's serving phase two. I liked the long hair better on him. Yeah, I know. He looks so good. Hey, so I want that. Hey, so I want that. Hey, I want that. I want that bad. Yeah, that's a good naughty. I agree with you. Thank you. Yeah. Okay. My naughty is people who think they're better than you because they choose to not wear sunscreen. You're not better than me because you think you sh can't you don't need sunscreen. Babe, you need sunscreen. No, you're right. Everyone needs sunscreen. Literally, everybody needs sunscreen just because you don't care if you get skin cancer. Like you're not cool. It's oh, I don't need to put sun. Oh, it's UV 8. Yeah, I don't know. So the sun doesn't discriminate. Come back in 20 years when you look like you're 18 and I still look 25. Exactly. When you love a sun. I don't I don't know how to argue with you because you're like, no, I need a little burn. Um the base animal. I'm like a base burn. Yeah, a base burn. It's literally all gonna peel off, by the way. And you're gonna be in pain for the next week. Like, I don't get it. Yeah. I really I'm pretty off. I can't tan, so it's like I'm just like everyone needs sunscreen. Like it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. You're gonna look like rubber pretty soon. Leather? No, rubber. You're rubber. You're rubber. If you're not rubber, rubber, you're gonna look like rubber. Right. You rubber skin. It's really good. Like that's it. Yeah, I don't know. Something about that is just like it's giving performative, and it's like, why do you think that not putting on sunscreen makes it cool or something? No, it isn't. Wait, it isn't. It's pissing me off because I'm putting on sunscreen and I want to help you get your back, and you're like, no, no. Is this fucking play about Ari's play? No, it's happening. This literally happened yesterday because Ari when we had sunscreen on it. And you weren't making fun of me. I wait till the pod. No, it wasn't about you. You put sunscreen on. I didn't hear what's about. She didn't put it on my back. Because you were sitting in a chair though. Yeah, I was, but then I was laying down. Yeah, because she laid out on her stomach and you were like, Do you want me to put sunscreen on your back? She was like, No. This is like when I ask her if she wants me to put sunscreen on her part and she says no, and then she complains about her scalp burning. Like, shut the hell up. Yeah, she's like, Did you put sunscreen on your ear? I'm trying to help you. I'm like, oh my ears are peeling. Like, oh. She's like, well, did you put sunscreen on them? No, yes, we're doing it. Yeah, we're literally sitting on the bees yesterday. And she's like, oh, my ears are peeling. And I said, Well, have you put sunscreen on today on them? She's like, No. I'm like, I don't want to get on. My ears got a bass pan. They're fine. No, they're literally fully peeling off. She pulled it off like a snake. The whole ear. Are you serious? Pipe down. Pipe down. That's how it felt to me. Yeah. She's like, oh my god. She just sees a snake over here. It's like a whole body. That's it. Okay, so you need to talk about the side. Um, so sunscreen.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, okay, okay. Sunscreen. You're you're not better than sunscreen. No, nobody's got a big thing. You're not better than the sun. You're not better than the ocean. Like, just be safe. I'm sorry. Yeah. You're gonna look really bad. That's what I'm saying. Like, we worked at a spa and like they really drill it into you. Like, even when it's cloudy, even in the winter, like put sunscreen on.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Because honestly, it's not cute when you have leather skin. No, it's not. Like, I see people here laying out looking like leather. I'm like, oh my god, you look and they look so dark, but it doesn't look good anymore. No. Like maybe when you were younger, it looks good because your skin's all like fried. People would literally put like oil. Like literally. The sun also wasn't strong back then. It's true! Our fucking ozone layers. Like, let's not get into that, but the sun is that it is. Wait, I saw something yesterday saying that in like the 70s and 80s, people use so much hairspray that that's like part of like how the ozone layer like that. You're kidding. Because of how much hairspray was used in those days. I don't fucking know. That's insane. I don't know if that's a lot of what I read. Are they using it outside? Because they're literally using just aerosol shit like all like every single day. Like nobody uses hairspray anymore unless they do it to really keep it together for like an event or something. It's because they all had perms. Well, yeah, everybody's brushing their hair to make it like huge. Yeah. Volume was everything. Yeah. Wow. I know. I've never heard that. I just thought it was true. I've heard that before. Instead of fighting, they had hairspray. Right. And then someone in the comments is like, well, now it's AI data centers. And the person was like, well, I don't have control over that. Yeah. I can't talk about this again. No, not again. Not again. Should we get into our topics? Yes, we should. Okay, so I'm excited. I do not like when people post their dead grandparents or relatives on their social media. No, that's disgusting. Like, no, like not like photos when they are living, like when they're dead. In the coffin. Like in the coffin or like in the hospital or like their hand when like they've passed. Well, that's just fucking oh. Like I don't like. Yeah, they're like holding hands. Yeah, they're like holding hands. But like that's not how you want to recommend it. They're holding hands like when they're alive. I think that's fine. Yeah, but like it's always so creepy a little bit. Like this one girl that I went to school with fully posted a picture of her grandma in a casket. Like the full picture. That's literally insane. Why are we doing that? Like, nobody needs to see that. No. Well, that's like a big thing. She's so vulnerable. Yeah, like she does not want that. I feel like she wouldn't consent to it. Also, like it's a dead body on Instagram. That's what I'm saying. Like, that's a bad body. How are we not flagging that? I shouldn't think that's allowed. That's what I'm saying. You're breaking the law. Hey, so I don't want to see your dead. Well, that's like community guidelines type thing. Yeah. Like post a picture of your grandma when she's living and when she's happy and you guys were having a good day. Like, you know. Don't she do that? Literally the other day, I just saw someone's dead grandma. And I didn't want to see it. No, I don't want to see it. Honestly, that's like hard for people. Like a lot of people, like their own relatives, like can't go up to the casket because it's too much, and you're gonna post it. I don't like I don't even like going up. I don't like like it free, like it's like very sad, and like that's. That's like very triggering. I feel like it's triggering. But it's like, oh, you're just scrolling on Instagram. Oh, that's what I was saying. I'm waking up in the morning checking my phone. I'm seeing your dad's dead grandma. Yeah, I honestly about so many things. If you post that, I'm blocking you. Dude, like that's too much. Yeah. I feel like with that sort of thing, like that is a choice to go and see. Like, I understand like you're grieving, but I feel like Instagram's not the grieving process to post your dead relative. It's just too much because like no one else. No one else needs to see that though. No, I think that should be illegal personally. If you're thinking about posting your dead grandma this weekend, we're blocking you. Just don't. Yeah. This weekend. Please don't. Don't share your dead grandma photos. Like, please. Don't take pictures of me when I'm dead, guys. That's what I mean. Like it's very no I'm not looking good. I'm taxidermy. Like I look at it. If you have a mullet. Yeah. You can take a picture of my mullet. Yeah, I will take a picture of your mullet, but after that, I'm not taking a picture of your mullet.

unknown

I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

It's just like a little morbid, and it's just like a little bit removed. Like it's like insensitive. Yeah. I think that's the key.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Well, posting anything on Instagram in general, I think, is like asking for attention. Well, that's exactly it. So like I'm gonna slide up and say I don't want to see your dead ground. You're traveling from that versus like posting. I'm gonna do like you as a kid with your grandparents. Oh, I agree. Like I think that's like that's perfect. Because then it gives you a space where you can like say, like, I'm so sorry for your loss. If you're posting a phone, I'm not sliding. I'm scared now. I'm scared of your dead grandma. I really can't believe that people are my dead grandpa. Not that they want a reference at the beach. Yeah, I know. Oh my god. Yeah, that's really weird. Um, you know what's also weird? Tom Brady lately. No! What's up with Tom Brady? I'm sorry. He's being weird. Okay, he is weird. He okay, so he just came out with I don't know, it's like his brand of a coconut water. Yo, he First of all, yeah, coconut water is ass, and if you tell me you like it, you're a liar. Yeah, dude. It's actually garbage. No, it's really not good. It reminds me of milk, like the texture. I've drank straight out of a coconut, and I had never been more disappointed in my life. I thought it was supposed to be really good and it was yucca. The coconut I like is like a thin like a toasted coconut. Yeah. I like it like it comes in the bag. A raw coconut. Yeah. Disgusting. It's not. So, first off, I hate coconut water. You already lost me. Okay. Then Tom Brady, like, I see his like commercial for this coconut water, and they're like dancing around the name. Like, they're like, wait, well, wait, how did you come up with the name? And they're like, Well, the name like isn't the full thing, like blah blah blah. Like, he's just saying, like, this is the whole concept of the trailer or like of the commercial. And so the name of the brand is good nut. Oh, I saw that. Why? No, I did see that. Why? Cause it's coconut. Yeah, because it's coconut. But like good nut nut sounds like so provocative. Yeah, like that had to have like that style. Like, I was thinking that's like a normal thing to say, but you call someone a good egg, not a good nut. Oh, yeah. You say like a bad nut. A bad nut. A bad nut nut. Yeah. I don't know. A good nut? He has a good nut. Yeah. With that can with that consistency of coconut water, too. It's a little sauce of a choke. Oh my color. It's a little sauce. And so like the whole premise of the command. Is that what you say? Yeah, like the whole premise of the commercial is like, oh, like the brand, like, the name isn't like a big part of the brand. So why would you name it that if you're already embarrassed by it? Well, I think it's like a whole PR stunt to get people to like think of So that's not actually the name. It is, but like the whole thing is like a big thing. He's trying to get people to talk about it. Oh. And we're talking about it because I don't know. That's so weird. I'm gonna address it before anybody else addresses it. Because I like it. Yeah, he's like, I know it's weird, but I gotta get behind it. A bad nut makes me think of Willie Wonka. Yes! And like she's there tonight in the squirrel scene, and they're like tapping on the nuts, and she's like, bad nut, and they throw her down the chute. Dude, I'm waiting. That movie is creepy. Dude, that movie is a little freaky. Yeah, yeah. Until they're just like, I win. Yeah. You just watch four guys get killed. Yeah. Oh, yeah, children, by the way. It's like my grandparents don't have to sleep together in bed anymore. Awesome. But I don't like when she turns into a blueberry. It's like really creepy to me. When she pops over. Yeah, I hate that part. That's what I mean. Like the way it was like so graphic. It was. Like she just like it. Like that was like a fear for me as a kid. I'm like, I don't want to go to I don't want to go there. Chocolate would be worse for me. That part is scary. I would have like he's like stuck in the tube going down the street. Yeah, I'm scared. That part, what's the other one? Oh, he the other guy just like transports into the TV. That kid was stupid. That one was like lamo. I don't remember that one. He is like, but he must have been the first one out. Okay, if you had to choose the last one. Oh, really? I think it's the child. I've not watched that in a while. It's the children. Like getting drowning in the chocolate. That is not first, is it? I think so. They're all like they like walk into the room, it's the whole everything's being on the page. I was actually in Oopaloompa in the school play. I'm afraid of that. Oh my god. In case you're wondering. It's kind of iconic. Wait, really? Yeah, we did Charlie in the chocolate factory in elementary school. I know I was like, did they paint you? No, but I had to wear overalls. Oh. Oh. Did you like hair green? I don't think so. I feel like I don't know. Oopaloompa's from Wizard of Oz, is it not? No, those are the Munchkins. Oh. I like the munchkins. Wizard of Oz is another. Yeah, no, no. Yeah. I don't know the words. Yeah, something like that. Wait, what are we talking about? Oh, the Order of the Death. But they didn't like die per se. They like came back in the end, I think. They did? Yeah. They were like one of them's like covenant and chuckling. And they're all humble shit now. Yeah, like the other one's just like blue, I think. I don't know. She's just like blue. Oh yeah. She had like a big thing. Oh yeah, she went on O Zempo. Was she like super lengthy or something? I think they like ringed her out. Oh my god, you're right. Yeah. Like the whole premise was like literally ringed her out. They had to like reverse everything that happened. Yeah, so like that was so. I think like one of the guys. I don't even know. But yeah. Yeah, you're right. And then like the girl who like was a bad nut, like she got like tossed into like the garbage shoot. And they were like, well, you gotta get her before like the trash compactor gets her. I'm like Not the trash compactor. Like that's graphic. I don't want to know that. Oh my god. I don't remember ever being scared of that. And this is the like the Johnny Depp one. You know what? Speaking of Umpalumpas. Ooh. Oh. But let's get into my short kidd Hall of Famers. Wait, I like this one. Wait, you need to start calling them Umpalumpas. My Umpalumpas. Um, so I I only have a few right now, but I think we should do like a whole skit where like we do pyramid, like Abby Lee Miller. Yes. Okay. So currently on my Hall of Famers includes Mark Wahlberg.

SPEAKER_01

Ah. Of course. He's gorgeous. I love him at any age, I think.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, are you saying like, are any of these bad short kings or are they? I have one. Like hot. Oh. I have one short king who's on the bottom of my pyramid. Okay. Oh. Okay. Bradley Stephen Perry. Well, of course. I love him. Yeah, me too. I used to love him as a kid, too. How short is he? Bruno Mars. I don't know, but he looks short, so I'm claiming him as a short king. He's a short king. Bruno Mars is dev a short king. He's a little bit more. Bruno is definitely the most little king ever. Dude, he could, yeah, it doesn't matter that he's short.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_00

His voice. Yeah, I know. So good. And after last week's conversation, Tom Holland has made it. Of course. Yes. I don't know how short he is, but like in my head, he's a short king. I think he's short. I think he's shorter than Zebayus. Tom Holland. I was like, I don't know where I just went right there, but I did not hear that. And I'm not here. And then I have one person who's on the bottom of my Hall of Famers. Well, really, just the bottom of the pyramid. He's not a Hall of Famer. Ace from Love Island. He's honestly gorgeous. He's so cute. He's super cute, and he does have like a fun personality, but like he is a narcissist at the end of the day. His name is tattooed on his back. Him and Shelly looked so good together. Yeah, and he played her bad. What's this guy's name? What? The whole time he just wanted to Cuda. Yeah, dude. Like, remember in that competition where he's laying on the ground and she's literally like dry humping. Okay, that was insane. I thought she wanted to fucking. No, he's super cute. That's him. He's so cute. But he has his he has dimples. You need to like it. I think just like the name on his back really throws me off. Like your first name on your back with glasses is like really. Yeah, he's super cute. He's so cute. Yeah. He is a little guy though. He's like, unfortunately he's got a little. You need to put the heights that he's got. He doesn't like that because he got yelled at. Well, who was the guy that he was yelling at that one time about being short? They were doing, I don't even remember what episode it was. It might have been Chris or something. I can't remember. But they were not happy. Chris is huge. Tall. Yeah, and he's like, just because you're tall doesn't mean you're blah, blah, blah. Um Ace. I don't even know his last one. Wow, damn. Bruno Mars is 5'5. Oh, Ace is 5'10. Oh, that's like why does he look like such a big thing? He looks so little. I don't know. Maybe the other guys are really tall or something. Oh my god. How how tall do you guys think Kevin Hart is? Kevin Hart is like 5'5. 5'8? 5'5? Yeah. He's 5'2.

SPEAKER_01

Oh?

SPEAKER_00

Wait. That's actually criminal. That's actually a jacked. I don't know. He's like a he's a munchkin. I've never seen a man that short in my life. But he's like so jacked. In my whole life. Jack and little. He be telling everyone in interviews that he's like 5'5. Well, he said, he said something. I think it was on the call, her daddy interviewed. I think it was. And he was like, you know, I tell everyone I'm this tall, but I'm actually, I'm not. I'm not that tall. No. I think he over-exaggerates. Yeah. Wow. And he's 5'5 is over-exaggerated. That is crazy. And that's over exaggerating by a lot, I fear. Honestly. Like, that's a big difference. That's a big difference. Because if I was 5'5, I would like feel so much longer. We're under. Me and Kara both think that. There's no way he's 5'2. Like, how big is the rock? There's no way. Okay, no. There's no way we're going to be able to do it. I'm definitely not that height next to the rock. Okay, Google. Google be so real. I really haven't seen a man that little ever, though. No, I don't know if I can't think of one. I'd love to say wait. It's saying 5'5 now. Yeah, I don't think he. Wait, it's saying 5'5 when wearing shoes.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

That one hurts the ego. That is crazy. He defo paid Google to say, please say it when you're wearing shoes. We're getting propaganda. It also says five, five and a half in boots. Why do I need to know how tall this man is? That sounds like a joke that he he put there. Okay, so if the rock is five, the rock is six five. So like that's a little bit more than a foot difference, I'd argue, right? A foot or so. Yeah. You're right. We'll give him five four. That's crazy. I'm sorry. That would just be like under picture Sarah right next to me. That's what I mean. I would look a lot smaller next to the rock. Because that is crazy. Wow. That is crazy. 5'2 would be insane. Kevin Hart's a munchkin. He's one of the loopas. If he was 5'2, yeah. Oh, that's what you were saying. Yeah. If you saw someone. If I saw the munch at all, yeah. Yeah, he'd be a munchkin. Okay, yeah, yeah. That's what I was saying. Okay, if I saw someone that was 5'2 out at about, I would think they're a munchkin. Stand on that. Stand on that. That man's a munchkin. Do you know Alphabet? Yes or no? Do you know her? Do you know Galinda? Are you on the whose team are you on? Alpha Bow and Glinda. Yeah, this is important. He's like, they're a munchkin. Are you not? Come on. Oh my god! My god. That's really good. Shit. As we're getting closer to the 4th of July, um, I have some things that are American that I think we should talk about. Okay. Some things that I think are overly American as somebody who's like well traveled per se. Overly American? Like you don't like it? No, like I no, I love it. Like it's just like something like that. It's just something that you're like, you literally could not get this anywhere but America. Okay. Yeah, there's a lot.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

A Fielder's Choice ice cream sandwich. Yeah. Well, obviously, number one, yeah. Where number one. Where else on earth are you getting an ice cream sandwich that's bigger than your face? My job. Honestly, nowhere because nowhere. That that shit went viral on people from like across the country who were like, now I need to go to Mayor. So don't post this because I can't get that. Yeah. That's what people were saying. Wait, this should literally just be like food proportions in general. No, like that's what I'm saying. So American. Also, sides. Like in Europe, they don't do sides. There's no sides. Like you get like a piece of chicken. I'm like, all you get is a bowl of pasta. What the fuck? Yeah. First of all, I love a side. Like, don't piss me off. Yeah. I love a side too. Okay. What else did I write? Eh. Also, like giant coffees. Yeah, anything that's big is very American. Or probably anywhere else. And I also wrote like modifying meals. Like in America, you could be like, oh, like, can you take like the pickles and lettuce off? Like in Europe and vegan. Yeah, they're like, um go back home. Go back to home. Hey, go home. Everyone to Americans. Go back to where you came from. Um, yeah, but like you cannot be like, oh, I don't like it's like it's coming how it's made, and you're made that way. Yeah. So if you're a piggy eater, good luck to your. Like, there's not much to modify. It's just like well, I want the ragu with no me. It's like, well, that's what ragu is. That's what ragu is. Yeah. Yeah. The other thing that I had written was Costco. Costco. Like there's nowhere in Europe. First of all, there's no gigantic warehouses over there. No. Let alone a place where you can buy a box of a hundred of whatever you want. Yeah. Have you seen everyone from like Scotland is here for the World Cup? Yeah. They're like going to Costco. They're like, what? Yeah, because it honestly, if you're if it's not something you're used to, like that makes no fucking sense. It makes no sense. What do you mean I can like go grocery shopping, but I can also buy a whole gazebo here? No, and I can buy because they wouldn't even have anywhere to put a gazebo. I can buy a pack of chicken and that's 34 pounds. Like, why can't I buy stuff that is you could buy it's ridiculous. Honestly, that's what proportions are like that's really gross. It's good if you're like a like you're hosting.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I need all of this.

SPEAKER_00

But I'm just like, that's like the way that they breed chickens, though, is like I don't know anything about that, but it can't be good. Well, they breed them so that they have like a huge breast. Ew! That's what I mean. That's why like chicken breasts are so big. Wait, I didn't know that. Yes. I always wonder that. Yeah. It's like they like the chickens can't like move because their breasts are huge. Wait, get these girls a breast reduction. The poor pain chickens. Their back problems are not okay. Damn. No, like they're it's just not humane, but that's why I'm saying it's gross, because it's like that's not normal to be able to buy 34 pounds of chicken breasts. No chat, clip that. Ari doesn't think we're funny today. She keeps yawning. Guys, I can't help it. It just happens a lot. I'm wide awake. Mm-hmm. You're gonna make me on. Hey, I'm so sorry. You're gonna make me on. I'm fighting it. I'm fighting it. You're making me on. Okay, wait, I was gonna say something else about uh the chickens. Now I can't remember. Oh no, I was gonna say I saw this video of this guy. It wasn't about chickens. I was gonna say I saw this video of this guy from Scotland going to Walmart and he's just picking up like giant things and like like cracking up. Wait, I love that because that's a little problem when I when we saw the ice cream sandwich for the first time, I had never laughed so hard in my life. I was like, are you fucking kidding me? For $7. I can get an ice cream sandwich that'll let me a wheel. No, like I could not believe my smaller now, so they are. I eat I can eat it in two years where it used to be four, too. So am I am I chumping for because the cookie is like thin on the edges and it never used to be like that? I know. It like it wasn't crunchy on the edges before. Oh yeah. No, I'm pissed. He like picked up like a gallon of ice cream and he's like dying laughing. He's like, who needs a gallon of ice cream? Me. No, it is actually funny though, because little to these Scottish people know is that Americans literally have like four freezers in their house. Yeah. Like I have a kitchen refrigerator freezer. Yeah. I have a garage, like fridge and freezer, and then I have just a freezer in my basement. And they are all full, by the way. Yeah. Like, I don't know what it is, but we're always like preparing for the apartment. I have a whole pantry. Dude, we have like a few. Ari's house is ready in case like we can never leave our home ever again. She'd be fine. I have like stocks like for life. We have like a whole pantry of food in the house. Does your dad shop at Costco? Uh yeah, we do like uh like they have about 47 boxes of tampons. Yes, and about also 100,000 rolls. Yeah, wait, where are the diva cup readers? Well, he was always stacked up for like when we you know to use them, but wow, that's so nice of him. Okay, so actually, about mom and I don't use tampons anymore. And so, like, we're just donating them to women's shelters. So if you have if you've converted over to the Diva Cup wave, donate your menstrual products. Yeah. Honestly, I should do that. Yeah. I need to start getting into Do you guys have a woman's shelter that you donate to already? Um, like I always have extra hair product and stuff, and I'm like, I feel weird throwing it out. Yeah. Like I try and I don't like it. Oh. I'm like, I don't want to. Usually it has to be like on open stuff though, unfortunately. Oh, okay. But that's a great idea with the tampons. Definitely donate the tampons and stuff because everyone always needs it and it's so expensive. Yeah. Yeah. They are. It's ridiculous. Our good news of the week. Yeah. You guys have it. Yeah, they should be free. Oh, yeah, we never talked about our magazine. We didn't talk about our magazine. Oh my god, yeah. So if you guys follow us on Instagram, we started posting top news, which is like our favorite quotes from the episode. But after we took our photo shoot, we decided to make like a magazine out of it. So we're gonna post it. Carry it down. It looks like it looks like an actual magazine. Thank you. Yeah, so good. We have like a section where we talk about good news, and that's definitely gonna be our good news. It is news. Um and then we have a section just like pop culture, and then we also do our quotes. Yeah. So if you have a magazine, all of your advertising. You can get right from us. I don't need to. So add us to your weekly news link. Yeah. No propaganda here. No, this is all true, real news. All facts. Okay? And I cite my fucking sources. Amen. Oh yeah. Amen. Should we get into our our question of the weekend? Yeah, we should because I've excited to talk about this. Yeah. Until then and go to sleep and dream again. That's the only thing to do. What song is that? Dream lover. Oh, now I wanna dream lover so I don't have to dream alone. He was actually gonna be my hottie, Jeremy Jordan. It's um a Broadway show. Yeah. Oh. And he's gonna be singing it and it's just so incredible. I would love to go to a Broadway show. I don't know that song though. Well, it's been stuck in my head. I'll send it to you. It's on my side. You're saying it great. Thank you. Call me. Okay, let's do our question. I don't know what I'm doing right now. I'm clicking on random things. Just clicking on Instagram posts. Me looking at my story for the hundredth time. Yeah, live. I'm gonna go live three more hours. Yeah. Okay. Our question this week was Is it a red flag if your partner has photos with their ex in their phone still? Ooh, yes. Good question, good question. Thank you. I have questioned. I answered one way, but I have I have a double standard for you, unfortunately. I think. I don't know how I answered. I know how Ari answered. Oh. I know how you answered. So Okay. Okay, let me read the answers. No, wait, like the options. No, yeah, sorry, sorry. Okay, so it was yes, they shouldn't need photos if they moved on, or no, they have a right to look at memories. So this is like a very like hard. Oh, I think it's situational once again. I voted Well, what is it? Yes, they shouldn't. They shouldn't not keep them. Yeah, that's what I voted. Like it's not a lot of things. I think oh yes, it's a I don't think that they should keep like Any photos? I don't think any that's where I'm getting at. Like, I don't think it's like any photos. Like my ex and I went to prom together. Like, I'm saving those. That's like there's like some big events and stuff that like I like that was my life for like half a decade. Yeah, I'm gonna keep some of those photos. But not like every photo from their relationship. No, yeah. Like I you don't need to save the photos of you kissing or snuggling, or like I think that there's some photos, like if you went on vacation together or whatever, like I think that's fine. Yeah. But I think it like gets to a point where it's like if all of them are still saved in your phone, then like you're not gonna get it weird. Like I've deleted 99.9% of the photos. But like some of them are just good memories. I'm not deleting them. Right. Yeah, that was a time in my life. That's totally fair. Yeah, and I'm not going back and staring at them longingly. Like it's just like that's what happened, and I think it's fine to have those memories. It would be okay, yeah. It would be weird if you went back and looked at prom photos and like that was such a big part of prom and like you had no photos with your boyfriend with your date. Yeah, yeah. I I think that's fair. I feel very similar. Like, I well, yeah, I also had like a boyfriend during like high school, and like that's a huge time of my life. My like situational, like I my phone broke during after high school, so I lost all my pictures. You know what? It was kind of like that kind of sucks. Yeah, it it does suck. But during that, like I have like okay, I'm not going through Snapchat and deleting things in there. I am really oh yeah. I if they pop up and I'm gonna go. No, because it's pissing me off. I don't need to be like three years later, I don't need to be getting memories of us doing God fucking those. Like we're out to eat. I don't give a damn. I'm deleting this. I honestly didn't have Snapchat until like junior year of high school. So I don't really have that much going on in there during that time. Yeah. So like it it I don't even go on Snapchat anymore. I'm like, it's what's there is there, and I'm fine with it. I'm trying to, yeah. I also feel like I'm not in a relationship right now, so I feel like it's different. Well, that's what I was thinking. Because like if we had a boyfriend and he was like going on my Snapchat to like, I don't know, take pictures or something, and then all of a sudden, like all of these memories are there, it's like a little weird. It's kind of insensitive. Okay. But like also, it's I wouldn't want to see that a relationship from when you're in high school versus like now we're 23, 24, 25. Like we were kids then. It's not a good one. You know, like honestly, it's like, oh, that's so cute. Yeah, you thought that was wrong. No cute. Yeah. You know, I also at the time have yeah, I also I still have like physical pictures. Like I I also went to prom with them. Like I have prom pictures, like, yeah, same because I like printed stuff. Yeah, I I think it's just you have to be over it. Yeah, like if you're like saving all these pictures because you're like, God, I wish we were still there. I do, yeah, I do agree. If you have them, I think like big things, like especially if they're in like family photos. Right, exactly. But I did say no, it's not a red flag. Yeah. Like they should have a right to look at their memories. That's like how I feel too. I didn't really like it. Obviously, like we've had relationships before now. Right. Yeah. I would hope. Yeah. I don't know. But it's like with that, like, you it's uh it's like fine. I feel like it's like fine to like look back and also like I feel like there's just a line of like respect. Right. There's like a security aspect to it too. Like if you feel like really a certain way about like your partner having photos of their ex on there, it's like maybe do some like self-reflection. Yeah. What's going on in your relationship where they're not going to be able to do that? Or unless they're being weird about the photos. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. If there's like an intent to like not show the photos, hey, if you're high on them, yeah. But I don't know. I don't feel because it did happen. And if it also depends on how it ended. Right. Yeah. But I like love when I'm talking to like an aunt or something, and they're like telling me about like their old like fling or like their whatever. Yeah. And it's like, oh, I have a picture. You want to like with us. Like, we didn't know each other when we both had boyfriends. But like here they are. You need to know the lords. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I kind of have a different take, though, on it because being in a toxic relationship that like involves manipulation. Looking back at photos, like helps me process it because at times I would be like, wait, what actually happened? Like I don't know right from the moment. It's so true. So like looking at photos, I could be like, okay, I remember what I was feeling in that moment. Like it was real. I didn't even think about it. I didn't think of that either. Like I say photos for like that reason, but like I don't look at them like, oh my god, miss him. Right. Like, no, I know. Like, no, it just like help helps. That's so true. Yeah, I like that version of it. Yeah. I like that a lot. So that's why I said no, it's not a red flag, because you never know. Okay, what if they had pictures on their Instagram of their partner, their ex-partner, and you're like seeing them? Okay, some people. If they're like, I don't know. Like, again, if it's in like a family photo, like I think it's fine. It's just the two of them on a cruise. It's just the two of them, yeah. Or like prom, I think is normal. Keep that in your camera roll. Keep it off the socials. Yeah. I don't know. Like, cause like some people have like long Instagram feeds where it's like literally from like middle school to like mid 20s. So it's like there's so many different chapters of their life. Yeah, I guess so. But like, like my Instagram is like not that long because I I didn't have social media until like I was like older than like most people. Um, so like I didn't really have like those pictures in general. I did archive some of them. I don't need a lot of shit. You know, like I feel like it to I don't know. I like I have removed mine. Right, of course. You know, because I feel like I don't need any of these guys wrong message. I feel like my Instagram is a reflection. I like to post like I some people post like for aesthetic and all that stuff. I post like things I love and like pictures I love. Like I love it. This is what's going on right now. Yeah, I just want it to be a reflection of like things I love. And I'm like, that's not it right now. Don't love them anymore. Yeah, that's not part of right now. Like, that's not it. So Well, yeah, I delete them because I'm like, I don't want to look at you. Yeah, when I go on like I don't need social media, you don't belong here. Yeah. Um, okay, so what did the people say? Like, what were the split percentages? Good question. We had the votes are in. America has voted. My boob's out. They voted for that. Okay. Someone said if the relationship was years ago and lasted a long time, I think that's okay. As long as they delete those photos when they pop up in the Snap memories. See, yeah, like having a lot of things. Yeah, coming from my memories are there. What is what we're like the process? Oh, oh, oh. Let me get back to it. Snapchat's literally a dying app. Dude, I'm not using Snapchat the second they start making me pay for the memories. I'm not doing that. I know. We but I'm like sad about that. I'm not about to do that. Yeah, we have to start saving them. Which I tried to do. I was definitely not making it through the final cut of that. No, it's most difficult, so you just end up fucking paying for it. I'm not paying for it. I don't feel that much. The only person I Snapchat is you. And I only snapchat you because you Snapchat. I don't even know if I have to go to the channel. We have text you. We have we literally have a group chat with all three. I'm like, we Snapchat all the time. We do have a snap chat. Because like I don't think I do video on my phone, send it over text, and sometimes you need my facial expressions. Like a voice memo is not cutting it. I do like a voice memo. You need to see my hand movements. No, I'll do that too, yeah. So I think Snapchat's good for that, but we might have to start fucking doing on Instagram. I guess. I don't I like don't look at my Instagram DMs, though. Well you better start. Um okay, so 59% said yes, it is a red flag, and 41% said no. Yeah, so it's pretty split vote. It's pretty split. I feel like I don't even know if I like commit to my own choice, so I know I feel like there's no because I said no, they shouldn't, but like I feel like we gave good points as to why like it's fine.
