Tampa Life Update And Travel Plans
SPEAKER_00All right, welcome to episode nine. Today we are talking about the Woods Luxury RV Resort. Before we talk about the woods, let's give you a little update of what we've been doing lately. So for the last month or so, we've enjoyed Tampa. We've been staying in the Tampa area. We enjoyed Gasparilla. Um, we've also hit Caliente a few times. We did boating a couple times. We actually went to Homo Sassas Springs and saw some manatees. That's a popular thing to do in Florida. And we're getting ready for a Bliss Cruise. We are going on Bliss Cruise here next week in the city. Our seventh, our seventh Bliss Cruise. And this is the first one for February. So of course we'll do an episode about Bliss Cruise.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that'll be coming. You'll be uh you'll be excited to see that one for sure.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_01And if you haven't noticed, for those of you actually watching on YouTube, here we are. We are at the woods, actually bringing this live from the woods location. We're in the clubhouse, and we're gonna present this to you guys uh as you see it, and we're gonna take you around and show you a little bit about the woods.
SPEAKER_00All right, what do we have for upcoming travel? Where are we going in April?
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh, yes, here we go. We're taking the shit show on the road, as I've often often said, and we are actually gonna be leaving the state of Florida, going up to the panhandle for a week or two, and then we're gonna be heading up towards uh Alabama into Missouri, and then we're gonna be coming across uh from Missouri into Kentucky. And uh we say all this because as we are on the road, we want you guys to reach out to us, tell us about different clubs, locations uh that me what might want to check out, or just hey, if you guys want to stop in, say hi, or we want to stop in, say hi, reach out to us and you know we can hook up online as
Broadcasting From The Woods Clubhouse
SPEAKER_01well. And make sure to send those emails to nextdoorswing at gmail.com. At nextdoorswing at gmail.com. And uh let us know where you guys are at, and then obviously if there's places that you want us to check out, we can do that as well. And after we go through Kentucky, we're gonna hit our way over to New Jersey because what else we what else we got going on this summer?
SPEAKER_00This summer we're heading to Europe for a couple of months.
SPEAKER_01We are both really excited about that because this is gonna be our first vacation where we're taking uh a whole month or two off and going over to Europe. And yes, of course, we're gonna be checking out some of the swingers' lifestyle clubs over there, and then we're gonna bring them to you guys as podcasts here or as you on the YouTube channel and uh let you guys know about all those travels over in Europe.
SPEAKER_00So this summer, summer 2026, we'll be in mid-Atlantic states um before and after our Europe trip. And so if there's anything in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York that you think we should check out, please let us know.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. All right, let's take a quick break and then we'll get right into the woods. The woods. We'll be right back.
What The Woods RV Resort Is
SPEAKER_01All right, we're back, and uh, we are at the woods, as we've mentioned here in our opening. We are on location. We're shooting this for you guys from the clubhouse of the woods. And uh, so first question off out the bat what is the woods?
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. The woods is an 11-acre luxury RV and park model HOA park resort, and it has 75 lots. All of the lots are privately owned, and they have um very secure, it is a gated in and out. There's a large clubhouse, there's multiple pools, there's a dog park and the beautiful landscaping and a very vibrant community, very beautiful resort. Right, and they have rentals, and so they have RV site rentals as well as park model rentals, and it is, of course, clothing optional.
SPEAKER_01Clothing optional.
SPEAKER_00Clothing optional is why we like it here.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, now mind you, we're bringing this to you guys because it is a clothing
Rentals, Ownership, And Clothing Optional
SPEAKER_01optional resort. However, they are friendly to lifestyle community. So if you are a swinger, lifestyle out there, but you're looking for something to do in the Tampa area that you might want to be clothing optional, uh, this is the place for you. And it, you know, there I'm gonna let the cat out of the bag here a little bit ahead of time. But guess what? Caliente is right next door, which is phenomenal because it's an easy, quick little three-minute walk.
SPEAKER_00Yep. Or a golf cart ride.
SPEAKER_01Or a golf cart ride, whichever way you want to go. Yep.
SPEAKER_00All right, who is the woods for?
SPEAKER_01Wow. The who is anybody looking to own a lot, to maybe rent a lot. If you're a full-time RV or you're just looking for someplace in Tampa to kind of stop at. Uh, but it's also if you're looking to invest into something uh that is upscale, quiet, and uh, you know, great community. The community here is phenomenal. And it is tight, small, uh, got amazing amenities, it's got some great pools. We'll talk about this here in a minute. Uh, and the clubhouse, as you can see, as we're sitting in
Who It’s For And Community Vibe
SPEAKER_01right here, is phenomenal.
SPEAKER_00Right, right. And also, the Who, most of the owners that are here are professionals, retired professionals. I would say 50 plus.
SPEAKER_0150 plus, absolutely.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01And they are so friendly. When you try to do a walk around the perimeter here, meaning if you take a walk around the road, or even if they're inside here, there's a uh little walking path that goes around the ponds and the pools. If you're trying to take a walk at night, trying to get some exercise then, it's gonna take you an hour to go one lap, which is probably what, a quarter of a mile?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, a third of a mile.
SPEAKER_01It's gonna take you an hour to walk around because everybody is so friendly and wanting stop and talk and say hi.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's very, very friendly. Yeah, all right. And where is the woods located?
SPEAKER_01Well, it as I mentioned, it's right next door to Caliente. So if you're familiar with Tampa at all, it's about 30 minutes outside of downtown Tampa. North just to the north of Tampa, and uh it's right uh in a beautiful area, very quiet. Um, and like I said, Caliente is right next door, so if you want to, you know, spice it up a little bit and get lab, you can go over there.
SPEAKER_00And we're also very close to the Gulf Beaches, and that would be another draw for people in this area. So it is primarily RVs that come here, uh, but there are park model rentals as well. And those park model rentals are kind of like tiny homes.
SPEAKER_01Yep, little tiny homes. And you see them everywhere around uh inside the resort here. Right. Uh it is 11 acres, as uh Ms. Gorra mentioned. And again, the fact of you know you can buy here, you can rent here,
Location, Seasons, And Nearby Attractions
SPEAKER_01you could just be here for a week, two, or you can spend the whole winter or summer here. So the one thing you also have to remember about Florida and around the Tampa area, too, though, is that the off-season on season is a little bit different than up north. The off-season down here is really during the summer when it's so bloody hot, which we both love. Uh however, a lot of people uh leave the area around Tampa and Florida uh during that summer season. And the the really the on-season time is during the winter time when parks like this are full.
SPEAKER_00Right, right. The busy season is definitely December to April, um, the the busy season here. Um also there are many people that live here full time. Yes. Uh so there are there are a handful, maybe a fourth, I believe, of people who live here full time.
SPEAKER_01And again, I want to emphasize that this is not a lifestyle resort, however, it is they are friendly to it. And uh as talking to a lot of the folks here, pri primarily I'd say about a quarter, about 25% of the people that are lifestyle or lifestyle friendly. And remind you all that that gamut of lifestyle is everything from the right, which could be just like to be around the atmosphere and the party, to then everything to the left, which could be heck, I like anything. Yeah, dates on your own type of thing.
SPEAKER_00Anything. And and also that's I'm glad you said that, because I want to our I want to keep you keep in mind that our definition of the lifestyle is a spectrum, and to us, nudist fall on that side spectrum a bit. And so for once again, that's our opinion, um, and nudists fall into that spectrum. And so that's why we like to bring you the nudest locations as well.
SPEAKER_01And we I would also think it's worthy to mention in here too, uh there is, you know, obviously uh the nudist resorts that are strictly nudist that are part of the different organizations or whatever, and they think things are a little bit a little bit differently, so that's why we always like to clarify that you know the whole uh lifestyle and/or the nudest.
SPEAKER_00Right. This is adult only. So the woods is adult only. Some of those nudist resorts that um you had mentioned have children, you know, allow children. This one does not. Um, same with Calliente. Uh, children are not allowed there either.
SPEAKER_01So, speaking of the next topic, why? Why would you want to come to the woods?
Why We Love It: Peace And People
SPEAKER_00I tell you what, we spent a month and a half here. We spent a good portion um of September and October here, and it was so peaceful and quiet and relaxing. It was the friendly environment and relaxed environment that I fell in love with. It is great for resetting. And so if you're looking for a spot to come and be quiet, bring your RV, sit back with a book by the pool, be naked, this is the place for that. It is definitely good for decompression.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. Uh, the whole month that we were here, or month and a half we were here, uh, we went over to Caliente probably a handful of times a week. Uh quite a bit, let's just say that. And uh coming back over here and being able to just decompress during the day, sit by the pool, nice and quiet, read a book. But even more at nighttime, I was blown away by how quiet it was, but then be able to look up in the sky and see such beautiful stars everywhere because there's not a whole lot of light around here, which I think is phenomenal.
SPEAKER_00Right. Another, another why from me was all the people that we met. Oh, fantastic. And people, I mean, we weren't only here a month and a half, but I think we've made lifelong friends with a good handful of the people that are here. And of course, we go to some of the same events that they go to, and so we'll see them uh at different events. And so it was great to have that connection, absolutely, you know, and just continue to grow our circle, which is so fun.
SPEAKER_01And uh honestly, in the near future, we'll probably be owners here. So if you want to be next door neighbors with us, uh I I the our first visit here took us a whole like maybe three days to figure out we might need to buy us because we love it so much.
SPEAKER_00We'd be buying in here eventually, not anytime soon.
SPEAKER_01We want to do our traveling first.
SPEAKER_00We want to do a lot of traveling first, but maybe in a few years.
SPEAKER_01All right, so that's the why. How.
SPEAKER_00All right, how.
How To Book, Pricing, And The App
SPEAKER_00I have two hows for you: the website and the app. The website is woodsrvresort.com, and the app is the woods rv resort. Both are fantastic, fantastic resources.
SPEAKER_01And where can you find that app? Is the app found on um oh at the app, like app stores. App store and on Google Play or whatever.
SPEAKER_00Google Play, right, yeah, and the Apple, Apple stores. Um, all of that is, and you can just, you know, do a quick search for it as well. Now, the for purchasing the lots in the woods right now at the time that we are recording this in the beginning of 2026, the lowest lot was 190, and that's basically a brick paved lot with the utilities on it. And it goes all the way, and that's purchasing it, 190, 190,000, all the way up to um 450,000 for a lot that has a uh a house like a small house on it, plus a an R V garage, like a Class A R V garage. But you can check out the site, it has all of the listings on it and how you would purchase.
SPEAKER_01And you can also check out our YouTube channel a little bit later as we are going to actually do a tour around here and put together a couple little videos to kind of show the uh premise. So if you're listening on uh, you know, any one of the podcasts, if you're listening on the podcast, just go to our YouTube channel and uh you'll be able to see some visuals of what this place is, why it's so amazing and why eventually we'll probably buy here.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. They also so they have the lots available, they also have park models, which are kind of like tiny homes, and then they also have rental pools, and so the owners rent their lots, so kind of like Airbnb style, but all of it's done through the app. So make sure you look at the app or the website. You can book on there. Nights for an RV run anywhere from 120 to 140. They do discounts for weeks, discounts for the season, discounts for a month. Check it out on the site, as well as um there are there's a park model house that's rentable. It's a one-bedroom park model house that's
Events, Amenities, And Pool Circuit
SPEAKER_00rentable and it runs about 200 a night. Now, this is a little insider bonus tip. Caliente is often sold out, especially on their big party weekends. So if you need a place to come, there is a park model. Um we're gonna show that whenever we do the walkthrough on the YouTube. So um go check that out. And um, you can rent a little house and don't even have to have an RV.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and again, uh another part of the how is well kind of fits into the how. Uh they have amazing events here as well in the clubhouse. Uh, I would say obviously obviously during the winter time when there's more people here, because it again, the on season, uh they host almost monthly events here in the clubhouse. So you're having everything from ABC party, which means an ABC party is anything but clothes.
SPEAKER_00So people wear anything but clothes. So you might see someone at Garland or whatever, whatever.
SPEAKER_01Uh but they also have such things as you know, Taco Night. Uh, we actually took part in Taco Night when we were here once before. It's a great time to get together with the community and say hi. They've also done things like um the casino night where they brought in casino workers and stuff like that. Uh it's also obviously something that you can always look out for on their website and on their app to see what's going on.
SPEAKER_00Right. And on their app, I believe they have they did a big luau. So they have some pictures and videos of the luau and they do wine tasting, lots of different events, mostly in the wintertime.
SPEAKER_01Now, for my favorite part of our show, just the tips. So, what is one of your favorite tips that you would like to talk to people about when you're talking about the woods?
SPEAKER_00Well, I would say probably my favorite tip about the woods specifically is that caliente is right next door. Literally, a wall shares right there um both sides. A wall shares the caliente and the woods. And so for us, whenever we stayed here, it was great to go over to Caliente on a Thursday because it was ladies' night. Friday is only it was only $20 for a couple to go in. Also on Sunday, they did um like different football parties, things like that. And then and then to be able to come
Access, Security, And House Rules
SPEAKER_00back here to the woods was my favorite tip, is because it was nice and quiet over here, and I could go out and lay by the pool naked and have the whole pool, you know, rather quiet. So that was one of my favorite tips.
SPEAKER_01And then my tip is you gotta check out the pools. The pools are fantastic. They actually have three pools, they have one, and when I say three, they're all heated a little bit differently. So they have one that is not necessarily heated, but it's warmer, obviously, because of the some summer weather here. Uh, but it's you know, probably about 75, 76 degrees, and then uh they have which is the bigger pool, and then they have another pool that's called the conversation pool, and it's a little bit heated, and it's probably about 80 degrees in that pool. That's where we spent most of our time when we were here, by the way. Yeah, it's great to sit, have a drink, and have a conversation with other people, and there's always people in the conversation pool. It seems like every night that we were here, we we were in the conversation pool, there was people there.
SPEAKER_00Well, there was like a progression. Yeah, people during the day would start in the main pool, and then they would go to the conversation pool right about sundown, and then at the end they would end up in the hot tub.
SPEAKER_01The hot tub is nice and it's hot. Probably probably fits 15, 20 people. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, but it's hot. It it's it's probably in a hundred degrees area easy. So, you know, during those hot summer days, but at night when it's cooler, especially in the winter, uh, probably a good place to be.
SPEAKER_00Right. And with the pools, it it there's um complete access. And so whenever you come through the gate of the resort, you have complete access to the pools and this clubhouse. It's not manned. Guests and owners can come in.
SPEAKER_01Good point to talk about. Let's talk about that for yeah. So there is a gate, there's a gate at the front entrance that is not manned. You actually have to put in a code. You there's a whole app and everything for it
Mailbag: Discretion In The Lifestyle
SPEAKER_01that you'll get when you're become a guest here or member here or owner here. Um, but they the security gates are only open by vehicle going in and out. It's not you know, person there, man. And the other part about it is um that it again, the great community that's in here, everybody's kind of watching out for themselves. So security in here is you don't have to think about it when you're here.
SPEAKER_00Right, right. Yeah, that was important. Another thing is is that there's no day passes um to this particular facility. You have to be a guest staying on site, or you have to be an owner in order to use the facility. But the facility, like the clubhouse and the pool, once you're staying here, you can come to you and you can bring your own cooler as well. You it's not like there's a bar. There is no bar or restaurant on site as well. There's many in the area, but there's none on it.
SPEAKER_01The other great thing, too, about the clubhouse is there's a huge grape bar, and I'm looking at it right over there. Uh, but there's a huge bar in here, it's a beautiful bar. Uh, you can put your alcohol in here, you can store it in here, and nobody's gonna mess with it, and it that's right there for you. So you can full use of the entire facility as being a guest and or a member or owner here.
SPEAKER_00Right. Another thing that's very important to mention at this time, now that we're talking about the pool and the um open areas, is that there is no sex on premise allowed. Zero sex. Zero sex. Zero sex. If you're having sex, it needs to be back in your cass, back in your um RV, wherever you're at. Yeah, your RV, wherever you're at. It is no open sex here. That is definitely not allowed. Um, so keep in mind.
SPEAKER_01That's not a swinger lifestyle resort member. So you gotta watch out for the community people that live here.
SPEAKER_00That's right. All right, did we miss anything about that?
SPEAKER_01Uh I think we're good on the tips. Uh, we'll be right back. We're gonna take a quick break for our mailbag um question of the day. But in that mailbag question, actually came from a member here at the uh at the woods, actually asked us this question, and we're like, this would be a perfect time to bring it up. So come back in just one second and we're gonna go into our mailbag session. All right.
SPEAKER_00All right, we're back with our mailbag uh question of the day, and it is the question is how do you maintain discretion in the lifestyle? This is a big one.
SPEAKER_01Well, this is a huge one.
SPEAKER_00This is a really big one. And it has been asked since we started in the lifestyle, and it's still asked, especially, you hear it a lot from like newer, you know, you know, newer people to the lifestyle.
SPEAKER_01And uh and of course, since we've been doing this for now for 12 years, uh discretion for us kind of I don't want to say goes out the window, but we think less of it more and more as we're now becoming more um I I like to say that 95% of the people in the lifestyle want discretion.
SPEAKER_00The rest of us make a podcast. Uh so here we are making a podcast.
SPEAKER_01Here we are making a podcast. So discretion isn't that big of a deal for us, but you gotta remember to be, you know, where you're at and what you're doing. I like I kind of think of discretion as in two ways. Uh discretion is almost uh you think about it in your job and where you're at in your life and what you're doing. Uh but then discretion with amongst your friends and other stuff that you're doing that or family that you want to keep that separated from, right? Now, discretion uh when you're talking about work and stuff like that. Well, for us in particular, if I can just take a minute, talk about our our progression through this. Uh, when we first got in the lifestyle, we were in the military and uh you know leadership positions, so then we had to be discreet. So we purposely traveled and went away uh for those trips to do our little spicy stuff on the weekends. However, the one thing to think of too, even in that situation, is that other people, if they're gonna be in the lifestyle or whatever, and the way you're gonna meet them, usually is through like SLS or SDC, those websites. They have to be out there seeking or joining or being part of that group or that community as well. So if they're on SDC and SLS and they find you, guess what? They're already there as well, just as much as you are. So that discretion, now mind you, that and this is a very important point to think of that that discretion, nobody wants to out, especially in that situation of a work situation, or if you're worried about you know being in a work position, high above CEO, whatever, um, nobody's gonna out themselves or nobody else on purpose. So that usually in the lifestyle, 95% of the people we've come across, and again, this is just our opinion and what we've come across, people are not gonna out you at just based on where you are, what you're doing, or whatever. On the other side of that, though, there's the discretion of okay, how do you keep your life away from your family and members uh and uh maybe you know that you're we're really close with that you just want to keep it close from? And that I kind of leave it up to you to kind of talk about how you do that.
SPEAKER_00So on the both of the sites or the sites that are out there to meet other people, like SLS, SDC, Cassidy, things like that, many people will blur out faces or they will only do pictures from neck down. Um, they will be very discreet because, of course, those pictures are out there. However, keep in mind that those pictures are only viewable by other people who have paid to be on the site. Now, there are free memberships, but someone actually has to go down the rabbit hole and create a website or create a profile in order to see those pictures. And so keep that in mind that other people that might find you on the site, they're on the site too. So keep keep that in mind. Um, another thing that you've already mentioned is go away to do your lifestyle. We know a lot of couples that are lifestyle on vacation only, or they might say they dabble in lifestyle, and that that's you know great. It's a great way of like we also like to call it adult escapism. And so you can do that on vacation as well.
SPEAKER_01And there's also ways to keep your family out of the loop as well. And that's where I was going with this was like on Facebook or Instagram or any of those social media pages, you can actually lock down your pages to where only those friends of yours in the lifestyle actually get to that information that you have posted. And uh a part of that is and it and I go back to you and ask you again, Miss Corps, about how how do you do that? How do you
SPEAKER_00On Facebook specifically, one thing that's very popular in Tampa area and all of Florida, and it's becoming more popular other places, are creating a couples page. And so we have a Facebook couples page in which our other lifestyle friends were friends with them on that page. Now, this is separate from our vanilla page that our family is on.
SPEAKER_01And it's extremely important that you do, and again, I'm not saying you have to do it this way. This is the way we've done it in our own personal experience. Uh, you want to keep the streams separated. So you cannot like or, you know, if you have two different Facebook pages, you can't like or cross-post stuff.
SPEAKER_00Well, and you should not be friends with your vanilla page and your couples page. That's the biggest thing that's going to be a good thing. That's how those streams get crossed. Don't be friends with your couple's page. And people that you're friends with on your couples page, don't be friends with them on your vanilla page because it's going to pop up to your mom. Hey, this person is friends, you know, has four other friends, and you know, uh, your mom might see that. And I say that because my mom did see that. So let me tell you what I did in that situation. And it is all completely true. My mom saw our couple's page and said, What is this? And I said, Well, it's a page in which um we have together as a couple. So when we go boating, when we go to parties, when we go beaching, when we go to concerts, when we go tailgating, it's for those people that are our adult friends to see where we're at, what we're doing, and for us to share those pictures. And I said, Because mom, I don't want to share my kids' pictures with all of my adult friends. And my mom said, Oh dear, that's so smart. And then she was okay with it. However, on our couples page, our profile picture and our background picture, our cover photo, our vanilla style pictures. I never put anything risque up there. It's always a picture of us together. Because just in case anyone sees, you know, anyone that I just think.
SPEAKER_01It's gonna come up and they're gonna see that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they might see it.
SPEAKER_01And then the other side of that, like if you're talking about your kids and being discreet from your kids and stuff like that, the easiest way for us to explain that and the way we do it, again, uh, this is our only our professional opinion of our 12 years of doing this, is we have told our kids, we don't tell our kids everything we're doing on the weekends, nor would we tell them everything we're doing by ourselves in the bedroom. So we keep it at that level which kids need to know and need to know only, which some might look at as white lying or whatever. We just tell them as much truth as they need to know. Like our kids know about us having you know, hosting parties and doing stuff like that, but we don't tell them we're doing, you know, having sex or doing uh things with other people on the weekends.
SPEAKER_00Well, just like I don't want to know about their sex life, they don't want to know about their sexuality.
SPEAKER_01They don't want about ours.
SPEAKER_00I don't want to know about my mother's sex life, I don't want to know about my people.
SPEAKER_01That is almost if you look at it in that aspect, that's almost built-in discretion, at least for your kids. That and there's some people out there, again, we talk about the spectrum being this huge spectrum lifestyle, right? Uh, this spectrum also has people in there, and we have friends that have done it, uh, that they come right straight out and tell their kids, and then they're wondering why all of a sudden, oh my gosh, my parent my kids don't want to talk to me or whatever. Well, yeah, you just put off this nuclear bomb right in front of them. Yeah. So maybe you want to kind of ease them into it until you get to that point where you're comfortable and telling them.
SPEAKER_00If you choose to ever tell them, and that's uh that's our ammo, is that I choose to never tell our children about what we're doing. Yes, they know we're partying, they know we're having fun, and they kind of wish that uh they had a relationship, you know, like many people do, like like ours, and but we just don't really talk much outside of that.
SPEAKER_01Yep. So I think we've got the mailbag question of the day taken care of. And just a reminder if you have a question that you want to shoot to us, shoot us an email on nextdoorswing at gmail.com.
SPEAKER_00Or you can send a message on any of the DMs as well.

Next Episode: Full Q&A And Closing
SPEAKER_0010, we're actually deviating a little bit from the style that we've done the who, what, where, when, why. We're gonna do a whole QA because we've gotten a ton of mailbag questions, and many of them are so good. We don't want to make them too short. So we're gonna do a whole episode, all of QA.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and I tell you, we have gotten amazing feedback from our entire community of friends, people around the world have actually been downloading and listening to our podcast as well as our YouTube channel. We're getting a lot of views and we're getting a lot of feedback. So we want to use this question to answer time period, and we're gonna do a whole episode, as Ms. Korea said, on that piece and just hit and address all those questions and bring it back to you guys in that kind of a form.
SPEAKER_00Okay, right. So come back on episode 10 and listen to all the QA and please go out there and share this episode with your friends.
