We’re recording on-site from a Nashville hotel takeover, and if you’ve ever wondered what actually makes a lifestyle event feel safe, smooth, and worth the trip, we’re giving you the real breakdown. Play Champagne isn’t just a party weekend. It’s a tightly run, members-only takeover with dedicated staff, clear rules, and security that knows how to enforce boundaries without killing the vibe. We talk through what surprised us most, from the scale of the event to the way they lean into the host city with themes, entertainment, and activities that keep you from ever needing to leave the hotel.

Then we tell the story we didn’t expect to love so much: our first time in a blackout playroom. No light, no music, and a whole lot of questions about logistics, comfort, and consent. We also answer a listener mailbag about male bi play, the double standard many couples run into, and simple, respectful ways to ask about play dynamics and find the right match on lifestyle sites.

Nashville Update And Next Stops

SPEAKER_01

Welcome to Nextdoor Swing, a podcast about lifestyle travel and events, hosted by Veteran Lifestyle Couple Cora and Max. In each episode, we hope to entertain, educate, and provide information based on our own personal experiences. The views, thoughts, and ideas expressed are solely our own and not to be taken as professional advice.

SPEAKER_00

All right. Hey, welcome back, everybody. It is Nextdoor Swing. We are here on site, again, in the playrooms. We are immersing ourselves, as you can tell, by the cowboy boots and the guitar. It's what we wore last night. And you might be asking yourself, what is going on? Where are they at? Well, we are at a play champagne event, and we're going to bring it all to you in this next episode. So stay tuned. But we're going to get to what we want to talk about, as we always do in every episode, is we always want to fill you guys in on where we are, what we're doing, and where we're going next. So let's start that off. So what are we up to?

SPEAKER_01

We have been in Nashville. You guys, we've been in Tennessee for about two weeks almost.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and you can tell by my voice, a little hoarse. So that's why I've got my little drinky drink here. Uh we were partying last night, and every every night it seems like in between.

SPEAKER_01

So we spent a week in Nashville, close to Nashville. And while we were there, we did some hiking, we did some history activities. We love doing that. And we spent way too much money on Broadway.

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh way too much money on our Broadway. So if you're going to Broadway, you need to bring your wallet because that was pricey.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, those bar tabs were up there.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, exactly. So we've been staying just a little bit south of Nashville for the this last week while we attended a play champagne event. We're going to talk more about that. And where are we heading next on Sunday, just a couple days from now?

SPEAKER_00

Oh my gosh, we are on our way to New Orleans, one of our favorite cities out there. We're going to take a vent down there. Uh, some friends of ours are putting on an event called Kinky Fest. It's been going on for a few years now. They invite us down there to come down there and enjoy it. It'll be our second time there. We're so looking forward to it. It's gonna be a blast. Second time for Kinky Fest, yep. And we are going to immerse ourselves in that. And then after that, we're gonna head uh back towards Tampa, right? Where I got some things we're doing in Tampa.

SPEAKER_01

Aren't we doing something else in New Orleans next week?

SPEAKER_00

What are we doing in New Orleans next week? Oh my goodness. Oh, you guys. Somebody's got a birthday next week, y'all. Somebody's got a birthday, and it's not just any other ordinary birthday.

SPEAKER_01

It is your it is my 50th birthday. Woo! We're gonna party in New Orleans, and I am embracing this new decade of my 50th year. So super excited to celebrate with all of my friends whenever we are in New Orleans.

SPEAKER_00

And it's and you know, I've been living with two people now. I just want to tell you that for the entire time that we've been married, because she's a Gemini. Yeah, you know, teach her during the day, and then at night, hey, something happens in the sheets, I guess. Whatever. Uh, but hey, I'll tell you what. So that pretty much covers what we've been up to and where we're at right now. Uh, let's get ready and kick off this episode because we've got a lot to talk to you guys about about these play champagne events. Fantastic. You're not gonna want to miss it. And uh, we'll be taking a quick break and we'll be right back with our uh play champagne event.

What Play Champagne Really Is

SPEAKER_00

All right, we're back and we are about to kick off our episode on Play Champagne. And oh my gosh, has it been a whirlwind? It has been a blast, I tell you. But I want to do one thing first because I think one thing just might be out of place.

SPEAKER_01

For those of you listening on this podcast, we are recording this podcast from a playroom. We spend a lot of time in playrooms at the end of the day.

SPEAKER_00

And not just a maybe we have, maybe we have, but I'll tell you uh, not just a playroom, but this is a hotel takeover event put on by Play Champagne. And we'll get in the details here in a second. But if for all those on the podcast that didn't just see what I just did, there is a pillow here that uh it might have a pineapple on it. I just want to make sure it was right side up, meaning the crown was facing down.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, it has to be upside down. That is a true thing, you guys.

SPEAKER_00

That's a true thing. So, all right, so let's get into this play champagne episode and give you guys the details what you want to know about when you guys come and check it out, because I know you guys are gonna want to. All right. So, what is Play Champagne?

SPEAKER_01

Play Champagne is a group that hosts premier lifestyle hotel takeover events, primarily in the Midwest. They were started in 2020, but before that, they were actually a brick and mortar building um club, and they started in 2011 as a brick and mortar club, and then in Indiana and Ohio. After 2020, as COVID did and COVID struck, they kind of had to switch gears a little bit, and it has been fantastic switching gears for them because now they host premier hotel takeovers. It started in the Midwest, but it's slowly growing, and these parties also um are at upscale hotels. Oh my gosh. So really nice hotels, and then they are offering it to they're very big groups, actually, 500 people plus. At this particular one we're in this weekend, it's a thousand people. One of the things that's unique about Play Champagne is they own all of their own equipment and they roll in here in a semi-truck.

SPEAKER_00

Big ass semi-truck. And I was blown away, which that might not sound like a big thing, but from our experience and actually hosting events similar to this, is the fact that when you own your own equipment, you bring it here, you cut down a lot of the overhead expenses of outsourcing to other people. But not only that, they have their own staff. And we'll talk about a little bit of this stuff a little bit later throughout, but they have their own staff, which also means that everybody on the staff here, and this is what I absolutely loved about their event here so far. Uh, and I say so far because we still have one more night. I don't know if I'll be able to take it, but one more night. But the the staff, they're all on the same sheet of music. Everybody is marching to the same instructions, right? The same mission uh plan for the whatever the you know the owners have in store for them. So there's no miscommunication. The events are all lined out, and I tell you, it has been an amazing event.

SPEAKER_01

Right. So to include the items in that big semi-trucks coming is all of the playroom equipment.

SPEAKER_00

All the playroom equipment, all the stuff you see around you.

SPEAKER_01

The, you know, the um the shear curtains, but also their sound and lighting comes with them.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

And so speakers and you know, um the laser lights, all of that comes with them. And that's a big undertaking. You also mentioned mentioned the staff. One thing that was very important to me, it is at all events that we go to is security. This Play Champaign group travels with their own security team. And that means that all of the security knows the rules, they're on board, they know how to be nice to the guests and be, you know, have good etiquette and be soft whenever re-redirecting people. Um, but that means also their hired staff. It's not volunteers. It's not volunteers standing the door. It is their their paid staff. And that's a big deal for security in an event like this. And we actually watched it the other night. There was some folks who didn't have a band on last night, and very gently they said, you know, they they m talked to them and then escorted them back to the door and got them a band. Yes. So also these events at this hotel takeover, their goal is to make it so you don't have to leave the hotel. They want you to come to a destination city and not have to leave. You can park on a Thursday or a Friday and then leave leave your keys in your bag, you don't have to get them back out. And they offer a variety of activities to include classes and seminars, meet and greets, uh, topless pool parties. I know topless, you guys were curious. The uh dirty bingo was a big thing this morning. And then also DJ themed night party. So, of course, big themes, lifestyle people are all about the themes, so big themes. And then also they really lean into the city that they're in. For example, we're in Nashville right now. So notice we are in, if you figured why not, right? We're in our cowboy boots and our our country itself.

SPEAKER_00

This is exactly what I wore last night.

SPEAKER_01

It is.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

And they um lean into that. And so here in Nashville, yesterday they had line dancing. They brought in a line dancing um professional from Nashville and held line dancing classes here during the day. They also brought in a band.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my gosh, I was about to ask you, and the bands weren't they fantastic?

SPEAKER_01

Excellent band, country band.

SPEAKER_00

Country band, and what was amazing is that they had uh a great sound, they sounded great together, but not only that, they took requests. They did and you could uh scan it, scan a little QR code and uh put in your request, and they would yeah, beam it out. They were they were they were good.

SPEAKER_01

They were good. And then also they bring in local food trucks, yeah. And so you don't have to leave the premise of the hotel to go out and even you know eat. They the the hotel does have a restaurant and uh bars on staff, and then you can also, of course, use eat eat from the food trucks as well. So lots of fun reasons to do that.

SPEAKER_00

I tell you, they they are doing such a great job, and I say they are doing because we haven't finished yet. We still got one more night to go. I don't know if we'll survive, but we'll be tired we're gonna get there. Yeah. Tomorrow's a travel day for us, so it's gonna be a good one.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah.

Who It Fits And The Crowd

SPEAKER_01

All right, so moving on to the who. Who is plate champagne?

SPEAKER_00

Well, I'm not gonna throw up my normal line, it's not for everybody. No, it is for everybody. However, this one here, what I'd like to say about Play Champagne is I think it's a true great experience for those veterans out there that's been in lifestyle for a long time and know exactly what you're doing and how you know to get there and do your thing. Um, but then it's also great, I think, for the newbies, uh, the new people that want to immerse themselves into it a little bit. Uh, I would tell you, again, 2026 is the year of being an adventurous. If you're thinking about something like this, and you're one of those who that are thinking about, you know, maybe taking into the lifestyle event, uh, something like this was perfect because you can immerse yourself into it by staying at the host hotel. Because I'll tell you, there are shenanigans. And I say shenanigans, there are things going on in this hotel like all day long in the rooms. There's people, and we'll get into more details of this, but they have a telegram app that you can communicate with other people. And all day long I've been following the Telegram app and it's been talking about hey, come get shots in room or whatever. And they just it's the party just keeps going. But at the same time, you can do as much or as little as you possibly want. So that's why I say I think it'd be great for newbies to dip your toe in, experience some of the classes, and let's talk about actually take a minute and talk about the class that they had very first night. Right. They had like an intro to play champagne, uh, and it was fantastic.

SPEAKER_01

Curious to confident that that was the name of the class. And it was for those first-time people to play champagne, but also maybe newbie lifestyle people or veterans that needed a refreshment.

SPEAKER_00

I think half the room was actually veterans that had been to multiple. And as a matter of fact, there were a lot of staff in there that were just, you know, catching up on just to make sure that they got the rules and everything that was going down. And they did such a great job, I'll tell you, to the crew that put on that uh Curious to Confident. It was fantastic the way you guys actually did, you know, they didn't get in your face with eight using the rules. It was actually done nice and kindly and lightly.

SPEAKER_02

A lot of humor.

SPEAKER_00

A lot of humor, but then they had gifts for people that will ask questions, right? Or that it was encouraging people to ask questions, what I thought was fantastic.

SPEAKER_02

That was great.

SPEAKER_00

That's something I'm gonna put in our tool bag for whenever we uh think about doing things in the future.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's a great idea. So I think have we covered everything under one thing I wanted to mention was the age. So here this weekend, here in Nashville, the median age was about 40. I would say most people were in their 40s. There were definitely some 20 and 30 somethings. Oh, yeah. There were definitely 60 and 70 somethings here as well. But the bulk was probably in that 40 range.

SPEAKER_00

And I'll tell you the thing that warned my heart the most last night. I don't know if you caught it. Actually, no, but we talked about it last night. On the dance floor while the band was playing, and there was this mm, I'll just say older couple, older couple. I mean, we're we're getting up there too, but there was a much older couple than us, and they were cutting up the rug and they were dancing, and I was so I was just smiling for them. It was so great. I love seeing that.

SPEAKER_01

I love that you say that because when I look at couples like that, my cheeks hurt for smiling so much because they're enjoying life and getting out there and just living their authentic self. And I love that.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I think it's encouragement to us that, you know, and you guys, that we're gonna be doing this till we die.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. Exactly. No reason we have to sit home and knit.

SPEAKER_00

I mean or watch Jeopardy.

SPEAKER_01

Or watch Jeopardy. I mean, that's okay. But you know, you can get out there and party. There's no age limit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So I think we got the who covered. Uh so we're getting

Where They Host And Why Go

SPEAKER_00

on to next. So we're gonna jump into uh where. So I'm gonna ask you where.

SPEAKER_01

So, like I mentioned, play champagne started in the Midwest. So they did parties previously over the last six years in Detroit, Chicago, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and then Chicago, I mentioned, and then Nashville now. In the future, they're doing parties in Lexington, Kentucky, Charlotte, North Carolina, back here in Nashville next this next year, but also next year, you guys are going to our favorite city. They're going to Tampa in April.

SPEAKER_00

You caught me off guard there. I was actually thinking about something in my head.

SPEAKER_01

And so all of our Tampa friends, yeah, get out there and book your play champagne.

SPEAKER_00

And that's fresh off the presses. As a matter of fact, like today when we're filming this, nobody else knows. But by the time this episode comes out, that information will be hot off the press, like within days. Right. So if you are in Tampa or if you're thinking about a play champagne event and you're one of those cities, get we'll get into the how and all that in a minute, but you're you're gonna have to get that pencil ready and get ready to sign up.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So that party in Tampa is April 2027. So be on the lookout for that.

SPEAKER_00

On the lookout for that one.

SPEAKER_01

All right, when? When are these hotel takeovers?

SPEAKER_00

Well, they're typically, now I say typically because you know everyone's unique and everyone's different, but they're typically done over Friday and Saturday. There's what five or six a year they do. And uh, but this one is actually a little different. They're doing three nights, which I think, you know, from hearing from the staff, that's something that they might toward uh uh gravitate towards in the future. But of course it becomes part of the, you know, because it is a big hotel, it's part of that, you know, is it available and all that process? So uh, but it is typically over Friday and Saturday night. And uh again, amazing destination cities. And so if you're looking, again, going kind of touching back on that who, if you're looking to do something outside your town, hour or two away, get away from, you know, because if you're a lawyer or whatever and you're worried about discreetness, hey, come check into one of these great hotel events that Play Champagne puts on, and I guarantee you you'll have a fun time. You'll meet amazing people. We've met people all over the place, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, crazy. Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Canada, like all over coming to this.

SPEAKER_00

I can say those damn Canadians because I'm a Canadian. I was born and raised in Canada, so don't get all offended out there, but okay. All right, so what we've covered the who. Yep or I'm sorry, the where. Uh we're getting on to the when.

SPEAKER_01

Why?

SPEAKER_00

Why?

SPEAKER_01

I'm giving that for you. It really, the why to meet would be to escape to a getaway city, to a destination city, is to why to come to a play champagne party. Um, another thing is to check out the city if you wanted to, and which is exactly what we did. We spent before the play champagne event in Nashville, like we mentioned. We did Broadway, we did some history, we did some hiking, and then we kind of wrap this into that event.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Um, another reason is because of this is at a hotel takeover, it's kind of weatherproof, you guys. To be, you know, actually here in Nashville for the last three days, it's been raining. It's been pouring it's been pouring rain, but it doesn't matter because the hot the pool is an indoor pool and the pool parties went on even though it was raining. And so even if in the Midwest or northern states, if it's in the wintertime, it's another reason to go to a hotel takeover is you park your car. Exactly. You park your car on a Friday, you don't get back in it until a Sunday, and you can stay in the world.

SPEAKER_00

And forget about that snow outside.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly, you can stay in one spot. And a couple other reasons why is community. This is a great place to foster our lifestyle community, a great way to reach out to other people, to make connections, and then also a really good way to unplug. Yep. Um, we talked to a couple last night and they told us that's why they come to these events is to unplug because they put their phone in their bag and they don't even look at their phone all weekend.

SPEAKER_00

All weekend. And that is except for getting on Telegram to say, hey, come get shots in your room. Maybe that's probably about the only reason. Yeah, get on your phone. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

All right. Now the next one's

How To Join And Get Tickets

SPEAKER_01

a big one. This is where you might need your pencil. This is where you get to come in. This is the how. How how do you attend a play champagne party?

SPEAKER_00

So, as Ms. Corps mentioned right up front, that this is a members-only private group, right? So that means what, and then we've we're actually kind of learning this as we go, and we're experiencing these different parties and these groups. So, what that really means is you need to go to a separate website. That website is playshampagne.com. You need to get a membership, you can do a free profile on board. It's fairly easy, it's very quick and easy, down and dirty. But there's a whole process for you to actually sign up and actually become a member on their site. And then once you become a member and you've got your profile all set up, then you'll be able to see the forum and you'll see all the events. You can sign up for events, you can hit the little toggle of the switch where it says you're going and kind of check it out and get all the details. Uh, and then that what that really opens up Pandora's box of what Play Champagne has to offer because Play Champagne, which I we never really knew much about Play Champagne until about a month ago, which is crazy. But they are doing such an amazing job here. But they get their information out there on Facebook, they are on, well, as mentioned already the Telegram, but they have this amazing, well, they don't, it's not their app, but they use this amazing app called Yap, which they put the entire schedule out there, and all it takes is one little button you hit, and then you get all this information about what's going on day to day to day in the hotel. So again, when you're immersing yourself in that experience and you are throwing your keys away as you get here and just staying in the hotel, enjoying the food, the music, and the people, you can follow right along with what's going on. And they've got, and I'm talking like all day long, there's stuff scheduled, but like I mentioned, out in the atrium and out in the hotel area, wow, there's parties in every room. So, I mean, it's something you want to take part of and enjoy it. Now, also part of this uh we want to talk about in the house, it's kind of like what we're sitting

Playrooms Setup And Consent Cues

SPEAKER_00

in right now. Uh, the playrooms. So they set up playrooms, they take little conference rooms like this one here and turn into playrooms. And uh, you know, what's great is they have at this event, they have three different playrooms. Uh, they have this room right here, the one we're in right now, is actually the group playroom, as you can see by the big bed right here in the middle. Now, I know you guys out there in uh in Neverland and uh on the podcast, uh just picture this behind us, sitting right behind us, are four beds, four queen-size beds that are all gathered up, one great big pad. What do they call it? They call it like a puppy pad. Puppy pad. A puppy pad, but a uh a big group play area. But around the outside, they have these beautiful, I mean, I think they're so well done, uh, the beautiful um uh beds, play areas with the I want to give you a minute to talk about the sheer curtains and what that you know, how that goes with the etiquette.

SPEAKER_01

Right. So, etiquette in the playroom, a lot of these etiquette things we've talked about several times. In this particular playroom, one thing I did like is that there's not super hard rules because they want to keep things light and easy going in here. So, some a few of the rules they do have is in this in this group playroom, it is couples only. And that was pretty much the only rule that I I saw. Like you do not have to disrobe when you come in here. You can stay in your party clothes, you can come in.

SPEAKER_00

Now we say that, but they do they do outside the doors. So if you can picture like right in front of us or right behind you as you're on the camera, uh behind that, the doors on your way in, they do have some posters out there, and they're well done too, that are very clear, easy to read, and they do have some rules on that.

SPEAKER_01

It's still a bit more etiquette.

SPEAKER_00

More more etiquette.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's more etiquette. So in the playroom, um, and that it is mentioned is very whisper voices are appreciated. It's very difficult to have a sexy vibe when someone's talking about the football game from last night or whatever, or their kids, you know, soccer team or whatever it is. But so keep those conversations outside of the room. I think I've been on repeat saying that every playroom I've been in. Um and then also etiquette in here is you mentioned the sheer curtains. So around all of the beds, around the outside of the room, there are some sheer curtains. If you want privacy, you just pull those sheer curtains closed. And now, of course, it's sheer, so people can still see in a little bit, which is super sexy. That's not the point of being in a playroom. Um, but it it's a cue that means we don't want company. If the curtains are open, it means you can watch. We might want company. And if we do want company, of course, the consent is super sexy, and it is definitely a part of our world. And so a great way to say uh that I want to join is may we watch, may we join, may we touch. Would you like company? Those are some good key words to use when you're asking for to join another couple. Some good things to say back if you want them to join is a wholeheartedly yes, yes, please, or absolutely. If you don't want someone to join, you can simply say not tonight. Or no, thank you. It it's it's okay, either way, right? It and it's it's it's a ebb and flow, and communication is lubrication, you guys. So make sure you use your words.

SPEAKER_00

Outside the group playroom, there's another one that's right next door. It's called the Hot Wife uh room, which is unique to us, but is an area for single guys to be and build play. But they have also a unique rule. We'll get a little bit more into it in details, too. But with this band here, which allows you, which means you can have you had a conversation with your spouse or something other ahead of time, and you can get this band here, which means you can play alone. So you don't have to be a single male, but you can actually be a single, we'll call it a player, and you can go in there with. Somebody else, but it has to be two people. No, or actually, no.

SPEAKER_01

No, yeah, singles can go in there. So it's right.

SPEAKER_00

In and out, but yet, yeah. But it it's it's amazing that they have that uh available to the single guys or you know to the people that want to play alone.

SPEAKER_01

Single men and single women are allowed, are uh welcome to come to play champagne events.

SPEAKER_00

And then they have two other rooms, and one we're gonna talk about in depth in our story, which is the blackout room. We'll get to that in a second, but I want to talk about the impact room. So the impact room is their style or their dungeon, their BDSM room, but it was so professionally done. They have two experts in there at all times, and uh they're giving classes, they're giving demonstrations.

SPEAKER_01

And the demos, you guys, they did a demo on wax play. Wax play. I've never seen that before. Electricity play with a little you know, sock and ropes, um, and and a rope play. And so that was really nice to go in there. It was a low pressure environment, it was a welcoming environment. And in that environment, just like almost all dungeons kind of lean this way, it is a non-penetrative environment. And so they do not allow sex in those rooms because it's not really about sex, right?

SPEAKER_00

And it's not necessarily playroom, it's uh that's what I thought it was unique.

SPEAKER_01

It's not something different. It is unique, and so um, they did have some St. Andrew's crosses in there, they had some benches, they had some toy apparatuses in there, and uh, it was it was nice, it was well done, very well done.

SPEAKER_00

And then they have a blackout room. So we'll get into more details about that, but you I know you're you're already thinking, you're curious. It is a room where you walk into and it's completely black.

SPEAKER_01

You can't even see the hand in front of your face.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. So I mean it. So we'll get into that detail in a minute as we go through our story because guess what? We went in there last night. We had a first for us. Now, however, uh, I want to get into this. The they bring in some amazing vendors. Vendors. We checked out the vendors yesterday. Uh, they have it on the second floor, they have an open area of little conference rooms, and I'll tell you, they've got everything you could possibly need. If you forgot something, or if you want to add something to a repertoire.

SPEAKER_01

Well, if you're looking, wanting to get your hands on some toys, they have a variety of floggers that are handmade style floggers with different um weights, different ends, things like that. And then they had a variety of crops and paddles and we gotta make sure we go by there because you mentioned guess what?

SPEAKER_00

Max gets to go get some new toys. Uh, we wanted to get a couple of new floggers and add to our repertoire. So we gotta go back up there and check that out.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and then they had um some vendors that had t-shirts and cups and lingeries and a variety of styles of vendors. Also unique to this uh event is they had a tattoo artist in all weekend. They had a tattoo artist. Real tattoos, not the what are we gonna get for a tattoo? I don't know if we gotta get a tattoo we're working on it.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe a pineapple?

SPEAKER_01

Maybe. Oh, that's a good idea.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, why not?

SPEAKER_01

So lots of vendors at the event, and so there's different things to see and to you know, kind of do some shopping. One thing I wanted to mention was the check-in

Check-In Wristbands Vendors Security

SPEAKER_01

process. The check-in process was seamless. I could tell immediately that their staff had this down. This is not their first rodeo. When you first walked in the hotel door, they had a table set up that was stop number one. You stopped there and you got your bracelets. The one bracelet was just to say, yes, I have paid to be here, and I am um able to be here, and I can come and go. I am a part of this private event. And then they had another band that you've mentioned earlier that basically says, me and my partner have spoken and we are and agree to play separately. So, and this is not like a it's just a uh a cue for other couples and singles to know that you're open to that. So that's what this is.

SPEAKER_00

And it helps with the communication. Yes. I mean, honestly, because if you can imagine if you have to take a second to stop what you're doing, if you're trying to connect with somebody and then be like, hey, baby, can I go play by myself? Right. You know, that just kind of ruins the ruins the effect. So if you've already had that conversation ahead of time, uh you're good to go, which I thought was amazing. And it was great. And um, yeah, great addition.

SPEAKER_01

It is, and that's something we haven't seen before that was. Um, and so you stop at that first table, which is get your bands with play champagne. Then after you check in with play champagne, then you go to the lobby and get your room key. And even that line was quick because they had they had the keys already printed out, they had the paperwork printed out. A lot of things were done ahead of time. So I've seen when we've done some of these events before, sometimes we're standing in line for 30 minutes, and that's kind of survive. I know. But this one, when we first got there, there was probably 20 people in line, and within seven minutes, they were they were rolling through.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it was so well done.

SPEAKER_01

Organized great work with that.

SPEAKER_00

Play champagne team, thumbs up.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yes. All right, so a few tips. Just the tips.

SPEAKER_00

Just the tips.

SPEAKER_01

Just the tips.

SPEAKER_00

We don't like this game at home, so we gotta give it here. Yeah, just a tip is not fun. Uh okay, so just the tips. What's your what's your first tip?

SPEAKER_01

My first tip is to get on the website. This is very unique. You can't just buy a room at a hotel or uh you can't just buy a room off of the website quickly. You have to actually do some work and be a member of the group, which is really great because that elicits privacy.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

So no one can just go in and do that. You have to actually do some paperwork, you have to give some consent, you have to be vetted a little bit to be in this member group only. And then, and even to see who's going to the party and what kind of party and the details of the party, you have to be a member. So get on the website, become a member. It's not very expensive to be the member. Yeah, to be a member. And I think you can do like monthly and annually and whatever. Um, and then make sure you book early because these events sell out quickly.

SPEAKER_00

Now, they do have other hotels or overflow hotels, but if you want to immerse yourself to where you can throw the keys away and just go at it and for three days or two days, you know, depending. Uh, you know, you gotta sign up quickly and you know, often and and quickly, yes.

SPEAKER_01

So, whenever we decided to come to this party, it was only like a month ago, and of course, all the rooms were sold out for us. And we're in our rig, so we just found an RV site close, and then we came on property each day. We bought day passes, and that is available for this event. And so you can buy, like for this event, you could have bought just Thursday, just Friday, just Saturday, or you could have bought all three days. We bought all three days for the for the couple's pass for the weekend, and then we could come and go to the event and then go back to our rig.

SPEAKER_00

Which is a great lead-in and to what I want to bring up next, if you're done with what you're getting ready to say, uh, is the hospitality room. Holy smokes! This was a game changer for us.

SPEAKER_01

This is something brand new for us that we've not seen.

SPEAKER_00

Now, again, we've been doing this for 12 years. We've done a lot of hotel takeovers. Uh, this was so superbly done. They took a conference room at the end of this hallway, as a matter of fact, just two doors down. They took a conference room and they allowed it to be open from certain times of the day.

SPEAKER_01

I think 11 to 100. 11 p.m.

SPEAKER_00

to like two or two or three in the morning, whatever. But uh, it's for those people that are off site that want to bring their coolers, all their you know, change of clothes, all that stuff. You can put it in there and just go back and forth. And the best part is they had uh ice in there. Because of course, when you're coming from you know another hotel or something, you gotta have those you gotta have ice. And it had water in there, you know and all that kind of stuff. It was such an amazing, great touch to just be able to drop your stuff and not have to worry about it and come and go. And quite honestly, it's it's almost like it's its own event to go in there because we've met so many amazing people, and of course, you're in there getting naked and changing and all that, and you're just like, hey, where are you guys from? You know, and all this the conversations are just great in there. And we did shots with some people in the other night, and we had our own little party right in the hospitality room.

SPEAKER_01

Well, because you have something in common already, because you're saying off site, so that's a little icebreaker right there. Most of them were actually local.

SPEAKER_00

I was just gonna say, and that's another thing, too. If you're a local and you just want to come for one night, or heck, if you just want to come for one afternoon or you know, whatever, uh, you could easily pop in

Hospitality Room BYOB And Pro Tips

SPEAKER_00

and do that with, you know, just buying your membership or not your membership, your event ticket for that day. Right. Day pass. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Another thing I wanted to mention, which is fantastic for this party, is it was BYOB. They did have, and they do have bar staff on site. So you could buy your drinks from the bar, and we did a couple of times, but we also brought our own little cooler, left it in the hospitality room, had our own cups, and then made our own drinks right in the hospitality room. That is something that we have seen done multiple ways at hotel takeovers. Some places say, nope, sorry, you can only have alcohol in your room. If you're in a common space, you have to buy from the bar. And that gets expensive.

SPEAKER_00

And completely get it because it deals with liquor licenses. And we understand that.

SPEAKER_01

But this one I thought was unique in that, in that we were able to buy or bring our own drinks and buy, and like I said, they had a restaurant on site too, so you could buy um, you know, a meal if you wanted to as well.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, the etiquette. Okay, this was a big one, you guys. We learned this from the curious to confidence class, and they were talking about etiquette and consent. And one thing they said was that they prefer that in common spaces your bits to be covered up, okay?

SPEAKER_00

I love the way they did this.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, I did. And so that means women, you need to have pasties on or you need to have your girls covered, and your privates need to be covered. A thong is okay, but the actual private needs to be covered. And they said, and this was brilliant, and I loved it, is because the staff at this hotel have they haven't given consent to see your naughty bits. Yeah, and some they they shouldn't have to, you know, see all of that in a common space. So they ask here on elevators, in the dining space, in the atrium, in common space that please cover up your bits because staff has not given consent to see them.

SPEAKER_00

And they the the Play Champagne group, they do a lot of work behind the scenes to make these you know contractual things happen with these hotels. So we don't want to ruin that shit. So you want to make sure you're following the etiquette, and it's really it's just common sense and curious, you know.

SPEAKER_02

I mean it's respect.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, respect for the other people. So I think it's fantastic. We we've obviously have seen it uh through our hotel parties that we've been to, but this is the first time it was put in that way that I was like, hey, you're right.

SPEAKER_01

I loved the way it was expressed. I loved it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, fantastic job.

SPEAKER_01

All right, so that is our major information about play champagne. We got adventurous last night, and we did something that we have never done before.

SPEAKER_00

We took our own advice and being curious, uh no, being adventurous in 2026.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, and we took it to a new level. We're gonna take a quick break. When we come back, we're gonna tell you all

Our First Blackout Room Night

SPEAKER_01

about what happened.

SPEAKER_00

All right, we're back, and we're about to tell you our story about what went down last night for us. That was first time for for both of us. Never done this before. It was fantastic. Uh, we were a little curious. They had uh on their thing that they had this blackout playroom. And I was like, huh. So we had a conversation here. Let's start there. We had a conversation yesterday about hey, do do is this something we might want to try? And we were both extremely curious about it.

SPEAKER_01

However, before, though, I wanted to mention before we had that conversation, we've seen these blackout rooms other places. Other places, we've seen this done in Naughty, New Orleans, and then we've been to a few house parties that have the blackout rooms. And always before, I was like, nope, not doing it. That's a hard no for me.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

This weekend, I was like, hmm, it's gonna be maybe a little adventurous. And let's have a communication, let's have a conversation and communicate about how this might look for us.

SPEAKER_00

And I want to I'm gonna take it from here because there's a couple things I want to highlight and even go back into I want to bring up as a tip too. Because this it happened to us yesterday. Because as we started talking about this and going into the blackout room, oh my gosh, the wheels got turning, right? And before you know it, we had to analyze down to well, how do you do this? How do you do that? I say all that because sometimes when you get that list to that edge and you want to be ambitious, you want you are you're already talking yourself out of it. Don't overanalyze things, turn the brain off and just step off the cliff and do it. Especially in an environment like this where you've got the support network, it's gonna be okay. The next day we had a conversation. Well, this morning we had a conversation about we both loved it. It was amazing. But then let's get into how the night went down.

SPEAKER_01

Well, first I want to talk about some of the questions that we have.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

So I was all about the logistics. You guys, I wanted to know, okay, if it's completely pitch dark in there, how do I uh take my clothes off and where do I put my clothes at where I can find them? Because I can't see them.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

And where do the condoms go? Like if you don't like how do you find them? Where are you gonna put Pocky gonna put them as a naked? If we get separated and are playing separately, how do I know when he's finished and how does he know when I finish? And how do we both know when to leave? And then speaking of leaving, how do I find the damn door? So am I gonna roll out of the bed and crawl across the floor and then feel my way up the wall and then feel down the wall to the door?

SPEAKER_00

And we ain't shitting you.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, it was so dark.

SPEAKER_00

For the people on the podcast that are listening out there, that are listening and not seeing the visuals, because on our YouTube channel, we are also doing a walkthrough. So look for that and in the future, and you will actually see us. We did it. We turned we went into that room and turned the light on. And you ain't seeing shit. No, you're not seeing it. You ain't seeing the door, you ain't seeing nothing.

SPEAKER_01

Listen, they put towels under the door cracks, they put tape and paper over exit sign and the sign and little bitty, um, like the you know how there's a light on the fire detector, fire smoke, smoke detector up on they put a little like a piece of tape over that so you couldn't see the light. That's how much they blocked it out.

SPEAKER_00

Now, we say all that to say, well, why do they do that? Well, the idea behind a blackout room is when you go in there, you're just immersing yourself and you're letting yourself go, and you're taking away one sense, one of your senses, right? To heighten all the others. Yes. And holy smokes. Yeah. Now it was just you and I went in there together. We didn't know how many people were in there.

SPEAKER_01

We didn't know let's talk about how we um let's talk about how we actually went in. So we came to the hospitality room, yep, and then we derobed as much as we could because I didn't want to deal with clothes up there.

SPEAKER_00

And so I was like, Well, even a step further, I uh because we mentioned, well, let's just we already planned this out as we talked through it, and we actually both said to each other, hey, let's stop our brains, stop thinking about it, let's just do it. And so we but we did say what we'll do is we'll derobe, and then that way there we it'd be easier, man, you know, logistically. And then we had a little drawstring bet, and that's all we carried in there.

SPEAKER_01

We were in Earse Givvy's and so I think I had a bodysuit on and um flip-flops, and you had a pair of little shorts on and then socks.

SPEAKER_00

And my socks rolled. Well, I yeah, I leave my socks on, folks. I know I'm taking my socks off. No.

SPEAKER_01

So so that's what we went into the black blackout room. And so when we went in, there were two dark curtains. The door was open. Yep, and then there were two dark curtains to kind of block out the light. And when we went in, another thing about this is that there's no music in there. Most of the time in other playrooms, there's some music. This one, no light, no music. So you could hear, like, we could hear the music from the ballroom because we were above the ballroom and that the DJ was going. So we could hear like some of the background bass of that, but it was like eerily quiet when we walked in.

SPEAKER_00

Dude, I'm telling you, the senses, yeah, you until you do it, you don't actually there's no way to describe it. I mean, really, it isn't. Right. However, you know, we got in there and we found a bed and uh they had blades all around the outside of the room, so it was easy to find a bed. You just kept going until you bumped into one. Right.

SPEAKER_01

And then sat down. The beds were air mattresses, so you didn't have to worry about because I was worried about like what if I stubbed my toe, you know, a bit, but you didn't on an air mattress.

SPEAKER_00

So we got in there, we found a spot to sit down, and again, we didn't know how many people were in there. Uh, we just went in there together. And that's so the other thing too is you can, because it happened while we were in there, we saw another couple. I say saw, but we could hear them, and we could barely so after they're in there for like 10, 15, 20, 30, 40 seconds, somewhere in that ballpark, uh, you actually get some uh night vision capability with your eyes where you can make out you know things around you. Your eyes do adjust, so you it's not that crazy. Uh but we did see a couple that came in fully clothed, and you could tell they had clothes on. Well, I could tell they have clothes on because obviously the guy dropped trial once he got in there, uh, and went right in the middle of the room.

SPEAKER_01

It's almost like real dark shadow. Yeah. Like you could see a an outline to see to know what was going on.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, but then his wife gave him a blowjob right there in the middle of the floor.

SPEAKER_01

Because you could see the outline of her.

SPEAKER_00

Out highlighting her and then they got done.

SPEAKER_01

And then the other thing is you can hear it. So you could hear them come in because again, it's quiet. So you could hear them whispering, you could hear them like trying to figure out where the bed was.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And they just stopped right in the middle of the room.

SPEAKER_01

Because they probably couldn't see anything else. And they they probably didn't even know we were in there because we were so quiet. And because you because we were just like petting each other.

SPEAKER_00

Well, right up to the point where you started doing that move on my uh on my yeah, and and that started to feel real good, and I let out a couple moans. And then when I say that because I could tell that they turned their heads and looked, like, and then they realized someone was in there. It was fun. It was kind of fun. It was it was fun. But anyway, the senses though are on overload, and it is so erotic and so fun. Uh, and I tell you, I think when we got up and finished, uh, we were both extremely pleased, and we will be going back, and now we got it figured out. Now, will we improve how you know we'd go about it? Right. Maybe not. Maybe next time we just screw it. Let's you'll fully close. I don't know. I don't know. But it it is was so much fun to be able to do something outside our comfort zone, comfort zone. And again, this is coming from a couple that's been doing this for 12 years. Exactly. And uh, and and be experienced to say, hey, you know, let's just go do it and let's not stop your brain, stop thinking about it, and just go off that cliff. And the support network was there around us, and it was fantastic. We had an amazing time. It was so fun.

SPEAKER_01

It was so fun to do it with you, too. Exactly. And especially because what was funny is we had been thinking about this and talking about this for the whole day leading up. And then after we walked out, we were like, oh, that wasn't as crazy as I thought it was gonna be. You know, I mean, we were yeah, it was great. And I would totally do it again. Now, of course, we were in the room. There weren't a lot of other people in the room. We only played with each other, so that was a good way to start.

SPEAKER_02

Start.

SPEAKER_01

And then maybe, you know, this could be elevated and changed a bit next time to maybe take a group of our uh own people in and say, you, you, you, you, let's go to the to go together and go experience this together.

SPEAKER_00

That's what that sounds like something we might be able to do tonight.

SPEAKER_01

But you know, you have to like think about, and I think someone said, you have to realize is it big hands or small hands?

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And as you're feeling around, you know, because you don't you don't know what you're feeling, what you're touching, who you're touching, what you're touching, you know, and then and so it was it was very erotic, you guys. It was very erotic. Very cool. That was us being adventurous in 2026.

SPEAKER_00

And that's our story for uh this episode. Great job.

SPEAKER_01

Good job, good job.

SPEAKER_00

We did it. We were adventurous. We can check that one off for the shoot.

Mailbag Male Bi Play And Stigma

SPEAKER_00

Yes, yep. All right, so now we let's get into um our mailbags. Our mailbags. Is it the only thing we got left to tell? That's it.

SPEAKER_01

That's it.

SPEAKER_00

Wow. This episode's gone pretty quick.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So our mailbag question of the day is It is an interesting one.

SPEAKER_01

So I had a gentleman email and talk about him and his wife are interested in lifestyle activities and they haven't done anything yet. However, they have discussed buy play. And his question said, It seems like girl, girl, by play in the lifestyle is readily acceptable. And male, male by play in the lifestyle is frowned upon. Is that true, and how do we overcome it?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And they had a fantasy that they're gonna be.

SPEAKER_01

In front of his wife, in front of his wife. She found it exotic or erotic, rather. He found it erotic, and that's all they wanted to do. And he said, How do we find that? How do we foster that type of fantasy? And my reply back was uh very honest, yes, by play in the lifestyle for females is widely acceptable and is becoming more acceptable with men. And I say that because over the last because we've been doing this 12 years. 12 years ago, it was not even talked about, I think, with men. Over the last 12 years, I have seen this world open up more and more and be more accepting and more open and not as judgmental when it comes around men um by play with men.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and I and I'd like to jump in and add this to this whole, you know, it that's a great question. Uh that a fantastic question. So thank you for uh sending us the question. And it's something that we've never really talked about or discussed. However, one thing I would like to say, and I think this is just a societal thing, uh, because in society itself, and that's what you gotta also remember that in the lifestyle, it's just a piece of of society, right? Or a collection of uh I don't want to say it's almost like a bunch of villages, uh communities that are inside, you know, this societal thing. Uh so yeah, it kind of bleeds over. Uh however, it all starts with communication, right? Just like with communication with us taking that leap going into the black room. If you're talking about within, but not just within your partner, but with other people that you might be interested in doing it with. So again, walk up to that side of that cliff. It's something that you ambition that you want to do or a goal you want to do this year, or something you know you want to try. Again, it's it's it's it's vulnerability. It you're that's that failure of you know someone saying no, I get it, yes, but it's a community that will support you. Communication. So communicate to the other people that you're interesting doing it with and just see where it goes.

SPEAKER_01

Well, because the worst that can happen is they say no thank you.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

I mean that's the worst and you move on. And so what I've repl replied back to him was if you're in a play environment um or if you're outside a play environment before you even get into a play environment, let's say you're at a lifestyle club or a meet and greet, a simple question is what is your play dynamic?

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Or what type of fantasies do you have?

SPEAKER_00

Oh my gosh, something a light bulb just came on. How many times in the last three days that we've been here that was exactly what people came up to us and asked so what's your play dynamic? Right? Yes. And it's a I never thought about it, but it's a great way to just break the ice and just say, hey, exactly. What are you guys into?

SPEAKER_01

And um it's it's completely okay to say are you into buy play or are you buy curious? And and that's okay to say. And if and if if that if if it conversation keeps moving forward then you know that that's a let's move forward. If you're in a playroom environment and you don't know if if it's a male and a female and you don't know and it the a simple thing is may I touch. And if it's a man he can look at the other man and say are you open to me touching? And then that's a good way to start.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Or you know are you in to buy play and that's a good way to start. And it's a simple wholeheartedly yes or a simple no thank you or not tonight is acceptable.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

Communication is lubrication. I'll say it over and over and over and I stole that from someone else but it it is true over and over and over communication is the way all of this goes down and goes down well.

SPEAKER_00

Especially if you want if you've talked with your significant other about fantasies and you want to go out and explore them. Yeah it starts with communication not just with between the couple but those people that you're interested in must do with it.

SPEAKER_01

And then another thing I wanted to mention is that another way to find this because that's what this gentleman was looking for, he said how do I find someone a couple or a male that is by uh or by curious on the sites. So we've talked about SDC several times. We're now affiliates with SDC. Go sign up under our link if you haven't already however on these on these websites you can put your affiliation and so for me I put you know I am a female here's my age here's what I'm into I have some tattoos I have some piercings and then it says what is your sexual preference and there are some toggles there and you can put buy straight you know whatever it is. And so you could look for if you're looking in your area or if you're looking at a party or whatever you can go and look at that profile and kind of seek out a by male. And then you can make some communication ahead of time and then come up hey let's meet looks like we're in some of the same things.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah and that circles me right back to Play Champagne and this amazing event here. And what they provide is through that membership that private membership into their group or their club you want to call it that they provide you a forum the chat feature and it's been going on ever since we signed up I've been chatting with people on the side because that's what I do. I normally take care of that part. And uh there's been the communication is starts right there. And something we were talking about earlier today and this kind of bumps into that being true under this circumstance is that uh in society today it is so easy because everybody chats everybody you know on every forum but play champagne provides that for you right right they you get into that you get a membership and you if you're thinking about coming to a party you can go down and you can see on their profile like you were mentioning what they're into and what they do and if you can find somebody and then you can easily just send them a quiet message privately on the forum and then invite them to your room for drinks.

SPEAKER_01

That happened to us last night exactly oh yeah we had a couple that said hey we're we're doing drinks in our room at eight o'clock come by and we were like heck yeah we went and met them and it was great.

SPEAKER_00

It was
