40 Days of Reconciliation
A Sacred Encounter: Dr. Laurette and Host Emmanuel on Finding the "Ark of Jesus"

In a powerful new episode of the 40 Days of Reconciliation podcast, Dr. Laurette and host Emmanuel dive deep into a spiritual exploration of our times. Comparing today's world to the Days of Noah, they share profound insights on salvation, the power of prayer, and the transformative practice of true worship.
As It Was in the Days of Noah
The conversation begins with a reflection on Jesus’ words regarding the days of Noah. Dr. Laurette draws a beautiful parallel between the diverse colors of human skin and the "colors of the dirt" from which we were all created, emphasizing that regardless of our heritage, we are one human race.
"Men and women throughout the world... they're getting closer together and they're seeing that believers are coming together and forming families and not seeing the color of their skin."
This coming together of believers is presented as a significant "sign of the times," signaling that we are returning to a spiritual state similar to that of Noah’s era.
Building Your Spiritual Ark
Dr. Laurette challenges listeners with a vital question: "Are you building an ark for your family?". In this context, the Ark is not a physical vessel of wood, but Jesus Christ himself.
- The Ark as Safety: Jesus is the refuge where we want our families to be.
- Divine Protection: Just as God—not Noah—closed the door of the ark, our spiritual safety is ultimately in the Father's hands.
A Prayer for Deliverance
For those seeking the salvation of loved ones, Dr. Laurette shares a simple yet authoritative prayer based on the name of Jesus:
"I take the name of Jesus and I break the power of the devil over [Person's Name]'s life. I claim their deliverance and then their full salvation in Jesus' name."
She emphasizes that we should not beg God, as He desires their salvation even more than we do. Instead, we must pray with confidence, knowing that if we ask according to His will, He hears us and we already possess what we have asked for (1 John 5:14-15).
Praise vs. Worship: The Vital Distinction
One of the most enlightening parts of the discussion is the distinction between praise and worship:
- Praise: We praise the Lord for what He has done.
- Worship: We worship the Lord for who He is.
Dr. Laurette invites everyone to "abandon" themselves in worship every day—whether in a car, a closet, or a back room. She notes that worshiping in the "beauty of His holiness" opens doors and creates opportunities that we cannot forge on our own.
The Promise of Provision
Host Emmanuel notes that being proactive in faith, much like Noah, helps us avoid "negligence" and spiritual laziness. Dr. Laurette concludes with a comforting promise for those who prioritize God:
"No one has ever starved to death who has been worshiping the Lord... When you give your time to the Lord, watch how all those other things are suddenly taken care of."

SPEAKER_01Thank you, Brother Emmanuel. It's great to be back here.
SPEAKER_00In your view, how different is our time compared to the days of Noah before the flood?
SPEAKER_01Well, Jesus said as it was in the days of Noah. And I'm seeing I'm seeing this, you know, when when we think of how people were, I mean, every everyone came from Noah, right, after the flood, and his sons, you know, Ham, Japheth, and Seth. And I see, you know, as it was then, and and again, that instead of people all being separate, they would say races, different races of people, but there's really just one race, the human race, right? But let's say colors of our skin, the same as the colors of the dirt, you know? And uh I'm this color because I'm very Irish. 97% Irish. Yeah, a lot of white science. It's just the color of the dirt, that's all it is. But you know what's happening is that that men and women throughout the world, they're getting closer together, and they're seeing that, you know, believers are coming together and forming families and not seeing the color of their skin, you know, seeing that as it was in the days of Noah, I think we're getting more back to that. On the surface, a lot of us they we look and we say, well, you know, the sin, the depravity, and all of it. Yes, yes, yes, that as well. But if we look at it from the standpoint of people coming together and becoming as it was as they were in that day, seeing, okay, that's a sign of the times. That's another sign of the times. Jesus is coming soon. And then as it was in the days of Noah, that he was building an ark at that time when there had never been rain. I mean, do you realize that? The waters came up from the earth as dew and watered the earth. There was no such thing as rains and flood until the heavens were opened and he broke forth the deep as well. And poo, that was when the floods came. So are you building an ark? Are you building an ark for your family? What kind of ark do you mean? Jesus. Jesus is the ark that we all want to be in. Because then, did you notice Noah didn't close the door, did he? God closed the door of the Ark, the Father. So we want to make sure that our family is in the Ark of Jesus. And I'm going to give you a prayer. I have this wonderful prayer. It's very, very simple. It's a prayer that I pray for for others to help people get saved. And you may want to play this back and forth several times so you can write it down, but it's very, very simple. I just have it on this little piece of paper. I take the name of Jesus and I break the power of the devil over a person's life. Let's say the person is Sam. Sam. All right. I take the name of Jesus and I break the power of the devil over Sam's life. And I claim his deliverance and then his full salvation in Jesus' name. It's that simple. And I tell you what, when you pray that, don't start now begging and pleading with God because he wants them saved more than you do. But now what you do, know that he heard you first. When you're praying in line with God's word. And if we know he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have as our present possession, it says in the amplified, we know that we have those petitions we've desired of him. So what do we do then? We start praising God that Sam, or whoever it is, is saved. Thank you, Lord, for saving Sam. Glory to God. I see Sam saved, healed, delivered. Hallelujah. I see them in the ark. As it was in the days of Noah, so it is in my life right now. My family is coming in to the ark of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord.
SPEAKER_00Amen. Amen. So prophetic. Yeah, thank you. And we are coming to the end of this episode. As you were telling us about Noah, the actually Noah was very provocative when God spoke to him. And I think the people of that time were very negligence. And then I came to something that you've you you're doing. The praise moves. You described it very, very well. Praise moves God, because I I I like it very much because it helps us also avoid negligence, the lack of care for ambassadors, but also being lazy to pray, being lazy to read the word of God, and also being lazy to believe, if I may borrow that term. So, yes, so as you prepare to give us an encouraging word that we are going to close with, I wanted to encourage you and thanking you for starting praise moves. But for me, I see something beyond praise moves, exactly the way you said it, praise moves good. It is something that is beyond just moving, it is actually a ministry in itself that is essential to help us awaken our faith and live the way Jesus Christ wants us to live in Him. Thank you so much, Dr. Ritt. So kindly your encouraging, fine, encouraging word, and we cross.
SPEAKER_01Yes, amen. Thank you, Brother Emmanuel. Praise moves God deeply. So keep praising the Lord, and the step beyond that is worship. I invite you to worship the Lord. We worship the Lord for who he is, and we praise the Lord for what he has done. Two separate things that worship. I invite you to worship him every day. And that means out of your mouth, I love you, Lord, I worship you. There's none worthy but you. You alone are worthy. You alone are worthy. There's none like you. I worship you, Lord. I worship you. You are wonderful. And you allow yourself, you abandon yourself in worship to Him. No one has ever starved to death who has been worshiping the Lord. They will not starve or be without worshiping the Lord. There will be a knock at the door and food will be there. There will be a call, there will be a something, there will be an opportunity, a door will open. When you worship the Lord and the beauty of his holiness. Now some people say, Oh, well, I go to church and we worship the Lord. Or that's what we have at church. It's called worship. And it's three songs and a testimony. And no, this is what you do alone. It's fine with other people, yes, worship the Lord with others. But what you do, you go into your back room, you go into your closet, whether it's physical or or you know, that idea of a closet where maybe it's in your car. If you have a car, you get in the car, you close, and you just abandon yourself. I worship. And if you don't know how to worship the Lord, just start saying, I worship you, Lord, I worship you, I worship you, I worship you. I see when it just comes over me because I've practiced this a lot, because I wanted to know, Lord, how do I love you more? Lord, I want to love you more. And you know what he said to me one day? The word of the Lord came unto me. I walk in love, and love walks in me, Jesus. Yes, Lord. If you start worshiping him for who he is, start thinking of all the things he is. Ask Holy Spirit to help you. Holy Spirit, I worship the Lord. Give me the words to say, and he will. And you will feel yourself, and I'm talking like not just now, start with wherever you can. One minute, two minutes, three minutes, five minutes. Can you go for 30 minutes, an hour, two hours? Oh, but I I have work to do it. Watch when you give your time to the Lord, watch how all those other things are suddenly taken care of. Because you have given your time to him. And Scripture says, My times are in your hand, past, present, future. He will work all those things together for you. God works all things together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose.
