What Are The Prices For A Class?

Your creative night should feel exciting, not confusing—so we pulled back the curtain on every option, upgrade, and price point to help you plan the perfect Painting with a Twist visit. We share the true cost of our most popular 16x20 canvas class, what’s included from brushes to guidance, and when a framed or wood canvas is worth the extra budget for a ready-to-hang finish or a rustic look. If you’re eyeing extras, we walk you through the $20 candle-making add-on, complete with a wall of scents and a quick pre-class session that delivers a take-home candle by the time your painting dries.

Looking to celebrate? We explain how private party packages work, from the deposit that reserves your studio time to flexible booking where guests pay their own seats and choose upgrades. Families get the inside track on weekend sessions with 11x14 canvases sized for smaller hands and priced to welcome kids. Pet lovers will love the Paint Your Pet experience: send a clear photo, arrive to a pre-sketched canvas, and get guided help to capture the whiskers, spots, and charm that make your animal unique.

We also highlight specialty workshops for different vibes and budgets. Try seasonal glassware painting and leave with two custom wine glasses, or go cozy with a chunky knit blanket class that uses only your hands—no needles, no stress. Along the way, we show you the fastest way to check current prices by location, browse events, and add optional upgrades online so you can build the night you want without guesswork.

Standard Class Pricing Explained

SPEAKER_01

Welcome everyone. I'm Chelsea Earlywine, co-host and producer here in the studio with Shelby Rocker, communications manager at Painting with a Twist. Shelby, I hope your week is going well so far. It's going well. Thank you for asking. Well, it's great to be here with you, Shelby. Let's dive in. What are the prices for a class?

SPEAKER_02

Um, our standard price for a 16 by 20 canvas is 39. And that includes the paint, the whole experience. That's going to cover everything. We do have a canvas upgrade though, if you want a pre-framed canvas, so you even gotta frame it, it's already done. And that one is $49. Some of our classes even have a wooden canvas, like it's completely wood, and that one is also $30, $49. Okay, okay, great. And what about optional upgrades?

Candle Upgrade And Add‑Ons

SPEAKER_01

Can you tell me a little bit about those?

SPEAKER_02

So almost every single one of our class has a $20 upgrade to make your own candle. In our studios, we have a little candle making kit. You come in 30 minutes before your class starts. You we have so many different scents. We have a wall full of scents that you can try. And our instructor who paints also will teach you how to make a candle. So you'll make your candle, and by the time the class is over, it's finished cooling down and you can take it home.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that is so fun. Um, what other um add-ons are there if guests want to do, you know, something special, if they're celebrating?

Private Parties And Deposits

SPEAKER_02

Um, we do have private party packages where you can reserve a whole class just for you. And I believe it starts at $130 for your deposit, and that's just three seats already paid for, and that helps you book your slot. You can pay for every seat yourself, and I believe that is $39 per person, or you could do invites where you make the private party, you pay for the three seats, and then you send invite links where your guests can book their thing. They could do candle add-ons if they want, and you'll have your own little personal painting party.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that's so great. Okay, and tell me a little bit about the canvas sizes. Are there different sizes? I know you mentioned um the wood canvas, but are there different sizes as well as different surfaces?

Family Day Sizes And Pricing

SPEAKER_02

Um, pretty much always every class is the 16 by 20, but we have special family day classes every Saturday and Sunday, and those are 11 by 14. So, you know, smaller hands don't have to reach as far. And those ones are $30 per class. We do them slightly cheaper because you want to have a lot of kids come in. So that's our exclusive deal with family day classes.

SPEAKER_01

And I I think you mentioned something to me earlier about painting with a

Paint Your Pet Details

SPEAKER_01

pet. Is that a thing?

SPEAKER_02

Your pet classes where you will sign up and send us an image of your pet, and we like to say any type of pet. You got a goldfish, a horse, a cat, a dog, a hedgehog. You send in that photo, and our artist will pre-sketch it on a 16 by 20 canvas so that when you come in, you've got a seat with your pet on it, and our instructor will help you guide. I believe those ones start at $70 per seat, and that comes with everything: the sketching, the painting, the class itself. You are all set.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that is so much fun. So, for someone that's trying to plan ahead to figure out what the budget's going to be for their outing, what is the best way to check the current prices?

SPEAKER_02

Um,

How To Check Prices Online

SPEAKER_02

just heading to our website, you know, paintingwithtwist.com. You click in your location. You got Stuart, Orlando, Lake Mary, Clermont, you click events, and any event you click, it'll have a little drop-down bar on the right that shows you how much a regular canvas is, if they've got a framed canvas, a wooden canvas, and after you do that, it'll say, Hey, do you want an add-on? And you can put on that $20 candle add-on.

SPEAKER_01

All right, Chelby. So tell me what other special pricing packages should we talk about?

SPEAKER_02

Um, we actually have two more special uh products that I want to

Glassware And Chunky Blanket Classes

SPEAKER_02

talk about. We have glassware painting where you get to come in and paint your own set of wine glasses. We usually do them like themed to like the season, so we have tons of different options. And those ones are $40 exactly, and you get to bring home two specially painted wine glasses. And our other class is chunky knit blanket. And I know a lot of people get intimidated by you know crocheting and knitting, but these ones you literally just do with your hands, and our instructor helps you, and you get to take home a really comfy blanket, and it's $75 for those. And you get the yarn, the lesson, and the blanket is yours to keep.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that's so much fun. Well, Shelby, thank you so much for breaking all of this down. It's so helpful for people to uh plan out their next visit and know what they should plan to spend. So thank you so much, and we'll see you next time.

SPEAKER_02

Bye bye.
