Dust Settles. I don't...
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This episode got uncomfortable in the best way possible as we unpacked the idea of settling in relationships, friendships, careers, and life overall. Is compromise maturity… or are some people slowly abandoning themselves just to avoid being alone?
As always, the Menaces brought the laughs, the tension, the hot takes, and the usual chaos through our favorite segments — but the main topic? Yeah… this one might hit home.
Sometimes dust settles.
Sometimes people do too.
The question is… should you?
Hello and welcome to the wholesome menace podcast. I'm your host, Chris Marie. We have Stefan and Risa with us.
SPEAKER_09Yay! Yay! What's going on, folks?
SPEAKER_06Hey y'all. I feel like it's been a minute.
SPEAKER_09It has been a minute.
SPEAKER_06I feel like it really has. This is like my first time.
SPEAKER_09Listen, guys, we are constantly working at this pod, but when we have to take breaks to edit and to do different things or life is in the way, yeah. Like it's separation anxiety for me.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Need to be here with you girls.
SPEAKER_02Definitely. It's just, I'm like, what do we do?
SPEAKER_03What do we do?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Just gotta get back into it.
SPEAKER_09Here's the cool thing from y'all's perspective, you see an episode every week.
SPEAKER_01Right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Right? Because niggas is working. Right. But sometimes when the schedule doesn't align, we have to adjust, and it feels weird getting back in the chair. But we I want to go back in chair.
SPEAKER_05I can't wait to get back in chair.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Like we only were off for like a week. It felt like way more. It did. It felt like two weeks, honestly.
SPEAKER_09But I guess is that cool for when you have your own business?
SPEAKER_05I guess it's amazing. As long as you're doing the thing. You're showing up, yeah, for sure. Which we do everything's being done on time. Yeah. I mean, think of for the ones that we did previously do so that we still stay ahead. Yeah. But yeah, it's no easy task. Love it, but I enjoy it the most. Yeah. So fire.
SPEAKER_09That being said, let's get into some attitude and gratitude.
SPEAKER_00Okay. This shit, I'm gonna blow getting a thing that don't help me grow. Bake three, big six, shice get home.
SPEAKER_09Ladies, for attitude and gratitude today, I wanted to talk about just how we are individually becoming better versions of ourselves. So the question I had is what are you doing to hone yourself? Like what practices are you putting into your life to hone yourself? We use the generic ones, go to the gym, you know, eat healthier, those types of ones, but I feel like all of us across the board are doing all those same things.
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_09A variation of those things. Yeah, it doesn't make you a great person. Right. My question to you is what are you doing specifically to like hone or sharpen or trim off or be better? What is what is it that you're doing?
SPEAKER_05Actively working out my mental and how I deal with like every situation. Like trying to deal with it in a light, positive kind of way, regardless of how shitty it is. So that I just don't feel shitty. I don't know. I'm just like really just training my mental in a lot of different situations. I don't really have anything else that I'm really working on personally besides that. I mean, the financial stuff, that's another thing that like everybody's doing, right? Or needs to do. But the way I react to situations, people, all that, that's the thing that I'm honing in. Just trying to have a good mental and be patient, working on my patience.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_02For sure. Sweet. And getting tattoos.
SPEAKER_09And getting tattoos, which is fire. That's you building out the avatar.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_09You know what I mean? So super dope. Therapeutic.
SPEAKER_06I really just kind of make sure that I'm taking time for myself. That's a big deal for me because I like spending time alone. And I like being able to just like sit down and focus on something that I want to do. So I make sure that I get that free time for myself so that I can do those things.
SPEAKER_05And also literally like talking to you guys every day, coming on here and discussing the topics that we all bring up helps me kind of just be able to reflect and take a look at some flaws that I might have or things that I may need to work on as an individual. So then I can like really be like, okay, you do this. Let's see how we can switch that up. Um so that's really it. Like me taking time for myself so that my mind is clear and I stay in a positive space, and then like I said, talking to you guys.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. For me, I have realized that my reading is not up to par.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09What I qualify like an intellectual person's reading, I don't feel like for me it's up to par. So one, I've been the app on my phone tells me like a different word every day.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09So I'm constantly being pushed with different words. That way I can at least if I'm not reading a book or or you know going through books regularly like I used to, I'm still getting different types of like diction in my life. Also, since Q's been on the show, I've been take taking the supplements that come that he uh develops. And when I tell you, like I feel like I'm on 10. Yeah. But not in an anxious way. Like everything's on.
SPEAKER_05Nice. And I'm alert. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Right?
SPEAKER_05You're here. You're present.
SPEAKER_09Present. So realizing, hey, that's an area you need to hone yourself in in your wellness, right? Even with the training. Like even with the supplements I've been taking, I can see that I can push harder in a workout. You know, I have more energy to do that. I have the desire to work out, you know. And so just finding those areas that I know I might be lack, lacking in, and finding ways to supplement that void. So again, I do I have the margin to read a book? I would love to. I have them in my book bag and my day goes by and I don't even open it, right? I make the time I make the book available, but sometimes the time isn't there for me. So my substitute for that is the way that I'm trying to hone myself is putting that vocabulary at so at least I see it. And sometimes I'll go on there and I'm like, damn, I didn't know that. You know, there's plenty of words I I'm introduced to.
SPEAKER_06Or you've heard them and you're kind of like, I don't really like for sure know what that means. I have an idea.
SPEAKER_09But yes.
SPEAKER_06So I love that.
SPEAKER_09I think we all should do that to a degree. Even another one, like getting licenses and other types of disciplines. I just realized the fishing license that we have gives us an opportunity to go hone another skill that we have.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09You know what I mean? Getting permits and things like that give you a g puts you in a different space. You're more valuable as a person because you are now able to enter those rooms.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that's so cool.
SPEAKER_09That's how I'm trying to better myself. Yeah. Piece by piece finding that I'm finding success in those areas. So anyway, that's how I had for attitude and gratitude.
SPEAKER_08That's cool. Okay.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. Hope you guys are intentional about what you're doing to better yourself.
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_09You don't gotta work out, you get to work out. You know what I mean? It's a skill you can develop.
SPEAKER_05And just, you know, saying all that, I just had a thought, and I actually put it in my notes before, like, we're given this little life, and there's so many things you can learn and learn to do. Yeah. So many guys, like fishing, hunting, and outside of that, freaking knitting, uh, painting. There's so many things you can learn, skills you can learn, useful things, therapeutic things. Just go out and try stuff. Yeah. You never know. You might be great at something you never thought you'd be great at.
SPEAKER_09Precisely. Cooking. It's a simple one, bro.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Especially with where our world is. You can develop a skill to make whole nutritious, you know, macronutrient dense food.
SPEAKER_05Food first of all as well.
SPEAKER_09That tastes phenomenal if you know how to do it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Just gotta try. Gotta try it somewhere. Sorry, I'm so tired. Wake up. I know. Now, on to your favorite game.
SPEAKER_09Let's do it.
SPEAKER_05Who's ready?
SPEAKER_09Let me get that.
SPEAKER_05I don't think I'm ready. I'm off my game today, guys.
SPEAKER_09Get your head in the game.
SPEAKER_05Okay. Well, let's hit you with a good tune first. Maybe get your going.
SPEAKER_09Hearts in the song.
SPEAKER_06Is that Troy Bolton? Yes.
SPEAKER_09We had to get each other right. Lock in. Thank you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01That's awesome. Appreciate you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09I love how we can get a couple of Disney Channel Johns on here.
SPEAKER_05I was actually going to look, but I said that's gonna be too easy for me. And look for just having I have no idea what you guys are talking about. Of course. Okay. Shut up. She hates musicals. Hate them.
SPEAKER_06Kissing you. Total.
SPEAKER_07Yay. Wait a minute.
SPEAKER_06I like that song.
SPEAKER_09Stay. Oh yes.
SPEAKER_05Good job. Thank you. Good job.
SPEAKER_03Keep playing again. I love that song. Can you play it again, please?
SPEAKER_09Definitely gives early two thousands.
SPEAKER_05It's a good song. Late nineteen nineties. Good job, Ruby Sah. Set me up you. Okay. Now free movie quote. Let's go.
SPEAKER_00Is to see a hero fail, fall, die cry, in spite of everything you've done for them.
SPEAKER_05That sounds like the Green Goblin. That's my guy, if it is.
SPEAKER_01From Spider-Man.
SPEAKER_09OG guy. What's his name?
SPEAKER_07Yay! Got it.
SPEAKER_05William Defoe. Yes. Yes, yes, yes.
SPEAKER_09One of my favorite gifts. You're good, girl.
SPEAKER_05She's that was good.
SPEAKER_09We'll get you over here down playing you and you snap.
SPEAKER_05Right. I'm tired today. I love his voice. Me too. I'm just kidding. He's just a bomb ass. William Defoe.
SPEAKER_03All right. Good one.
SPEAKER_05Thank you. Next two.
SPEAKER_03Ready, sucker. Give it to me.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_05Oh. I know that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Don't care where you bow. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
SPEAKER_01Who sings that? Is that Donnell Jones? I don't know.
SPEAKER_09Don't know? Question?
SPEAKER_01I'm sorry, they don't know.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. They don't know. That's what it is. Yay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05You guys both got that. I'll give it a yeah, yeah. By John B. Dumbass. John B. No, I did not say Donald Jones. That's embarrassing. She said that's Don L. Jones. I'm like. Golly. Good thing I knew the name of the song. I like that song.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I knew it was your song.
SPEAKER_09We both knew it though.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, we did. We're good. Yeah. We both knew her though. These are good. Yeah, they are good. They're good because that Spider-Man will know that Spider-Man was really good. If I didn't know his voice like that, I wouldn't have said.
SPEAKER_09Listen, you didn't even need two or three. You just I like the first. Yeah. Impressive.
SPEAKER_05Thanks.
SPEAKER_02All right.
SPEAKER_05Next movie.
SPEAKER_01I don't know.
SPEAKER_05I hate those chaotic ones.
SPEAKER_06I don't know. What the heck are you doing? Wait again? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Who the fuck is that? I'm not talking about it.
SPEAKER_09What the heck are you doing? What the fuck is that?
SPEAKER_01I have no idea.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna probably fuck. I can't talk today. I'm gonna pour you over. A third time. Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_01Napoleon Dynamite?
SPEAKER_03Hey. That's what I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_09I can see it.
SPEAKER_05Even when he was like, what are you doing? Yeah, but that's literally that's Napoleon Dynamo. I couldn't place the voice at first. And I'm like, wait a second. Yeah. That curly crap. Funny as hell. And the headband.
SPEAKER_09Good one.
SPEAKER_05All right.
SPEAKER_09Really good one.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that was really good. Huh?
SPEAKER_09We ain't got no bonus ones?
SPEAKER_05No, not today. Sorry, brother. Maybe next time.
SPEAKER_09Mom comes. We got six of them. Six of them. Yeah. Q came. We got six of them. That's mom.
SPEAKER_05Q was a special guest. He was nervous, so I wanted to make it fun.
SPEAKER_09Shut up, nickel. We ain't feeding us around here, guys.
SPEAKER_05Yo, he's devastated right now. All right. I'll give you one more song. One more. You better get it.
SPEAKER_09Fuck, you're right. Yeah, just shut the fuck up, Stefan. Shut up. Shut up.
SPEAKER_05Here we go. Shut your mouth, boy.
SPEAKER_01Jagged edge. What's the song called? Let's get married. No. Fuck.
unknownIdiot.
SPEAKER_09Fuck.
unknownFuck.
SPEAKER_06There's so many good ones.
SPEAKER_08Fuck. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_09You got niggas.
SPEAKER_05What is that?
SPEAKER_09I don't know it.
SPEAKER_05Save it to the mic.
SPEAKER_08Okay, that was too much.
SPEAKER_06That's hilarious. Oh, I can't believe I can't think of what that is right now.
SPEAKER_05I'll play it one more time because we were laughing on the last one. Okay. You guys still suck. No.
SPEAKER_01Not me.
SPEAKER_08Not me.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Let's see. Everything clear.
SPEAKER_09Meet me out the Ow.
SPEAKER_05That's what you're saying. Pause. Just shut up. Let me have that. Just let me have it. He said the shit twice. Twice. Would have done that. I'm sorry. Walk right out of heaven.
SPEAKER_09Walked right out of heaven.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's a good one. I dragged it. Such a beautiful song.
SPEAKER_09I love it. I've listened to that song recently, too.
SPEAKER_05No, you haven't. You listened to Let's Get Married. And what's crazy is No, I haven't, actually.
SPEAKER_09I haven't. It was that one. Fuck. Stefan sucks. No. Don't even look at me.
SPEAKER_01Mail it in, suck it.
SPEAKER_09Don't even look at me, nigga.
SPEAKER_05No. Hilarious. We gotta snatch that motherfucker. Yeah, we're gonna have to run them pockets.
SPEAKER_09I don't know. Does that mean? I mean, I was raised Haitian American, so I don't know.
SPEAKER_03Walk right out of head. So you don't know RB songs?
SPEAKER_09I know I know plethora, but too many to count.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_09But there's plenty that I don't. At least know the words.
SPEAKER_05I got it pretty much. I was singing the right words. He wasn't using it.
SPEAKER_03Say the song, nigga.
SPEAKER_09Thank you for obliging love.
SPEAKER_06You're sweet, sweet girl. Yeah, those kids. I'll take my half point to go.
SPEAKER_09Just go. Thank you. Do I get negative points for getting it wrong twice?
SPEAKER_05Oh, we might have to start giving him negative points, and then he gotta start building them back up. All right, my bad. You cool. You be getting it sometimes. You good, you good. Actually.
SPEAKER_08We all are Delusion Olympics.
SPEAKER_06Welcome to the Delusion Olympics.
SPEAKER_09Right at home, Stefan.
SPEAKER_06Right at home.
SPEAKER_05Let's see. First one, you think providing financially replaces emotional presence?
SPEAKER_09The Lulu.
SPEAKER_05Yes. Delusion.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I think I think uh popped in my head.
SPEAKER_09A wise man knows that he has to cater to both of those things that the woman needs. That's a lot though.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_05But if you're you're gonna either jump in both feet or you ain't because if you're not gonna do it all the way, why do it? It's it can be done.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So I agree.
SPEAKER_05Anyhow. Sorry, let me pause for a second. Why do you think empty promises with no consistency builds trust? Because you're delusional?
SPEAKER_09Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02You're delusional.
SPEAKER_09Empty promises and no. Consistency.
SPEAKER_05Why would I trust ya? Crazy. But there's nothing to trust. You're not showing me anything. Except that you're in because you can talk. Yes. You got a mouth and words coming out. I had to say this to somebody recently. And they mean nothing. Like you keep talking about you want to do this, you want to go on this date and do that.
SPEAKER_01But you're not even following through with the one thing that you said. You're not even setting up a plan to go on a date in and following through. So I'm like, all you do is chat. I'm not interested in that.
SPEAKER_09Let him know.
SPEAKER_01So I didn't.
SPEAKER_05And then being butted up for nothing but air.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. He got a little annoyed and said, Well, we don't have to talk anymore. Bah. Say less.
SPEAKER_09You're out of here, Buckhoe.
SPEAKER_05Never replied. There's nothing else to talk about. There's nothing else to say. Okay. Fuck her. You can love someone and still leave them. I don't think that's delusional. I think that's for sure a thing. Delusional. It's a very hard thing to do. Yeah. Sometimes it needs to be done.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, I think it needs to be done sometimes. Yeah. But that's a heart issue.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Does that make you delusional though?
SPEAKER_05No, absolutely not. It makes you aware. I think it makes you kind of strong, honestly, if you're able to walk away from somebody that you that's a big one. Yeah, I did that. And I was like, well shit, actually. I was in the process of leaving him, but he left first. And while it was like heartbreaking, it was also like because I was getting nothing out of that relationship but dead enddoors and heartache.
SPEAKER_06So yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Heartbreak sucks.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it does. I know too. I know too.
SPEAKER_09Good.
SPEAKER_06Well, that's all I have for the delusion Olympics.
SPEAKER_09Nice.
SPEAKER_05Delusions are lifestyle choices, people.
SPEAKER_02What will it be?
SPEAKER_09What will it be? Alright. So we're gonna get into the main topic today, ladies. I have a question. Do you have to settle to make things last?
SPEAKER_05I would hope not. I mean, I wouldn't do that. Fuck. I think maybe that is some people's reality, though.
SPEAKER_09Unpack that for me. What do you mean?
SPEAKER_05I think someone may and this is not to say like that they don't love a person, but there might be certain things about that person that they wish they could change and they can't, and they never will. And because they love said person and want to stay in that situation with whoever their partner may be, they just accept those things just to kind of keep the peace and stay comfortable where they are. To me, that's settling.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. I agree. I think all of us to a degree do that. Or at least they settle.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_09All of us. I mean, the way I see it, not no one's gonna have every single thing that you claim that you want that's gonna make it the person for you.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09That person that you're with may actually get on your nerves sometimes. Right.
SPEAKER_05That's to be expected. That is to be expected.
SPEAKER_06But I'm saying, like, say you're someone who likes a guy with who's blessed.
SPEAKER_01A big dick. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. You like that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. But now this guy is not, but he takes care of you. And he's rich or whatever you want to say. So now you're comfortable, you're being taken care of, all your needs are met, except that one. But you stay.
SPEAKER_09You're settling.
SPEAKER_01You're settling.
SPEAKER_09You said you you'd rather not settle.
SPEAKER_01I'm not settling.
SPEAKER_09So if he has those things when his penis is not big enough, you're out of there.
SPEAKER_05We're not gonna be in a relationship to begin with. For me to have to get out of there.
SPEAKER_09I feel you. What about you? You said you don't want to admit saying that.
SPEAKER_05What that I'm settling? Well, because we were having this conversation and it got really deep, so that's why you need to keep looking at me smiling.
SPEAKER_09So uh let me hear your your taste on that.
SPEAKER_05So I said I'm not settling either.
SPEAKER_02But then we were talking about how, you know, I feel like the guy that I'm currently being is like perfect for me.
SPEAKER_05Like he's not perfect, but he is for me.
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_05So to me, I'm not settling. Like he may not have like, like you said, nobody's gonna have be your actual dream person that you're thinking of, I think, right? And then so Stephanie's like, so yourself he's he's perfect for you, but that's not your dream like person. And I'm like, but fuck. But you don't even really know yet if that's your dream person, you're still getting to know him.
SPEAKER_09But that's the point. You have to say yes to these things as you're getting to know this person, even in that space. Yeah, she's like, fuck that. I'm not even there with your brother.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm not even getting to know you. I'm out of there.
SPEAKER_09No, let me ask you something. Let's say the person is it's flopped. The situation is flopped. He is well endowed.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. But broke ass.
SPEAKER_09You don't know. He's flexing, like he got bred.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09And he's actually probably has good temperament. He's a good, he has good character, but he's probably living above his means. You can't tell that just as just getting to know him, obviously, you know, other things about him.
SPEAKER_01I don't know anything about anyone. Let's be clear.
SPEAKER_09Let's see his point, you know.
SPEAKER_05But you would have to go on a couple dates with him and see find out. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09And in that space, you find out he's not he doesn't have the other things. At that point, you just cut it off.
SPEAKER_01I mean I'm not gonna say yeah. Yes, right.
SPEAKER_05Yes, you know, you like a nigga and be like, yeah. Which is a scratch. I gotta have you.
SPEAKER_02I gotta have you.
SPEAKER_05That's not gonna guarantee us getting into a relationship either, though. Like certain things I can't take seriously about because you're not gonna be that provider for me.
SPEAKER_09I see. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05That I have to have.
SPEAKER_09Non-negotiables. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like the twerking.
SPEAKER_09Ah stupid. Say what I said. She should know how, whether she chooses to use it on me is her choice.
SPEAKER_05She should know how. It's the she should know how.
SPEAKER_09I would think she would. Anyway, booties move anyway, so it's not doesn't whatever.
SPEAKER_05So you don't settle.
SPEAKER_09And she can't work. Can I be honest? Yeah.
SPEAKER_05What the fuck? I mean, what the heck?
SPEAKER_09There are things in my marriage that I didn't think were up to par. Yeah. I'm sure my ex can say the same about me, but in that space, would you say that I was settling for those things? Yes.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_09For the sake of my covenant, for the sake of my union with this person, there are things that I was willing to say yes to to protect that union.
SPEAKER_05I think a lot of people do it honestly. Like every day.
SPEAKER_02I've done it. I have done it. And that's why I don't want to do it now. I want to get too as close to everything that I want as I can get.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. I was telling her the other day, I posted something on my TikTok. I said, No, I forget, but we've something along the line along the lines of we judge each other before instead of loving each other.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09We essentially we think the pros don't outweigh the cons. And because we're judging the person from that perspective, instead of loving them from that perspective, that's what breaks up.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, yeah, that's good.
SPEAKER_09For sure. You know, and I think a lot of people are doing that.
SPEAKER_05I feel like that's pretty much why I think a big part of why my life's relationship ended. Because other than that, like, like that was my guy. Like, I'm like, you don't have married this nigga, you know what I mean? Like provided fucking me good, like loved me, you know what I mean? Like cooks, cleans, loves the kids, Thanksgiving gives, you know, like all these things.
SPEAKER_09And then there were just obviously like within the relationship on both sides.
SPEAKER_05Just couldn't work through those.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. Do you feel like you're settling?
SPEAKER_01I don't feel like I was settling in that situation, though.
SPEAKER_06I feel like he's pissed me off a lot and like first of the book.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. I didn't. That's part of the thing. That's normal. Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_05If you're not pissing each other off, that shit is not real.
SPEAKER_09Let's be calling the relationship. Like, yeah. You're supposed to the person closest to you is gonna piss you off the most.
SPEAKER_01For sure. Spending all that time together. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. Yeah. I I have learned that you should not judge one another. You should love one another.
SPEAKER_08For sure.
SPEAKER_09Hopefully that'll keep you through. I'm assuming that love is still worth it. You know?
SPEAKER_02It is.
SPEAKER_09I think so.
SPEAKER_02I think so. I know it is. It's gotta be.
SPEAKER_09And if you believe that, loving them is gonna push you past some of those things that you might call. And to be honest, some of the things that we have as pop cons are fixable shit. Nigga could go to the gym.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So, yes.
SPEAKER_09And Turkey would give you a set of teeth now, bro.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Man.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. There is a lot of things that are fixable. And I'm okay with that. Like a lot of people are with people for convenience, though. That's the thing. That's why they're be they're being judgmental. They're not loving the person. They're loving what the person does for them, how the person makes them feel.
SPEAKER_02And if I'm fucking with you, is being I need because I like your personality. I love your laugh. I love the way you just grab things like the littlest things.
SPEAKER_05I'm paying attention to you because I'm that into you.
SPEAKER_09Love.
SPEAKER_05Love.
SPEAKER_09Infatuation, all that mixed together. So somewhere along the line that stops, and we start judging them because they start fucking up.
SPEAKER_02But open your mouth.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, communicate.
SPEAKER_05You know what I'm saying? So tell the person.
SPEAKER_03God damn.
SPEAKER_05Tell the person when they're fucking up. Or if you're feeling like something's off. Freaking talk, people. What the heck? Even like just on our way here, we had conversations about like, you know, when you get into it with your partner, and maybe they don't want to respond right then and there in that moment.
SPEAKER_08Give them some space.
SPEAKER_01Tension is high, and you know, people are angry. Sometimes it's best to just kind of like separate, calm down, and then talk. But like don't come and like force me to try and have this conversation with you right now.
SPEAKER_05Like kind of angry with each other. Yeah. It's just not gonna be a good situation, I don't think.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_09Do you feel like they need a time frame from you when that happens?
SPEAKER_05Like, give me an hour or so? Yeah. Might not even need that whole hour, but just give me so much time. But like, let me go cool down for a minute. Like, you go ahead and go that way, and I'm gonna go this way, and I'll come find you when I'm ready to talk. Because like this going back and forth and nobody's hearing each other because we're trying to over talk.
SPEAKER_09That's real.
SPEAKER_01And just doesn't make for a healthy conversation.
SPEAKER_09That's real. I get quiet when shit's going down, so me too. Even when I am angry.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_05So more so when I'm angry.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. So I get that. Yeah. I don't want to talk. I get that for sure.
SPEAKER_02And then you might say shit you don't mean, or shit's gonna come out the wrong way because I'm annoyed. Like, let's just cap it.
SPEAKER_05And now that's another issue because we're misunderstanding each other. That's true. So like we're not gonna go to bed without talking about it, but I need a fucking minute.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Some heated arguments. Gotta get out of the room.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Could be best.
SPEAKER_09But that's real. It's real life.
SPEAKER_05And communicate that. Listen, I'm not trying to walk away from you or be disrespectful, but I need a minute because the space that I'm in right now is not a good one, and I'm trying to put that on you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09For me being told that as a man, there's some like, damn, she's not happy with me. That doesn't make me feel good. Yeah. Right. I want her to be pleased and comfortable and feel safe in my presence, right? So for her to tell me something like that is for sure gonna fuck with me if I love you. So but that's real, because you need the space to go collect your thoughts, regulate your emotions before you come back. So God forbid you say something out of pocket because you're tight.
SPEAKER_05So yeah. Damn, I had like one more. I know we're trying to get well, because I was watching Rap About a podcast and they were kind of talking about something kind of similar. But Fad was saying, like, if like a female's mad, how do you know when to like jump in there and like because you know sometimes they could just want to grab you up and a woman wants that sometimes, but he's like, it's like don't just like do I do it?
SPEAKER_06Do I not? That's just real, bro.
SPEAKER_05And that is so real because you guys don't know. And it's a bad car. Yeah, I would rather you grab me up, kiss me up, and try to make it better. And if I don't want that right now, I'll tell you. Try not to get offended, just give me some space.
SPEAKER_09Don't do that. No, I mean, I get it, but attempt to make amends.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah. Because a lot of people don't do that, man.
SPEAKER_09And then days go by and now we haven't talked in hours.
SPEAKER_05That cannot happen.
SPEAKER_02I hate that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, now I hate you. Right. Because days, nigga, hours.
SPEAKER_01You know, I know you now I know you don't even love me. You don't love me at all. You hate my gut. You don't want to talk to me. You don't want me here. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05You want me to go? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_09Well, relationships are crazy, guys. I don't know if I can honestly say that you're not settling. Settling is not a bad thing, is what I'm trying to get at.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09I don't think it's a bad thing. I think it's a part of life that a lot of us have to go through. You might find that there are things in your partner that you love and cherish that you didn't know you would.
SPEAKER_02And I think people think of settling in a bad way.
SPEAKER_05Like the word it's not what you guys think is just like, oh, I'm settling for this nigga. I'm settling for this half off.
SPEAKER_09And then it brings into thoughts the term, I'm I want to settle down.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09I'm ready to settle down. So are you saying no to certain things so that you can live the life that you're looking for? And people say that? I don't know.
SPEAKER_05Well, a lot of people say that they're looking for certain things, but they don't change the settings or things within themselves to be able to attract those things that they say that they want. Right. Because really, when it comes to settling down and buckling down and being with someone that uh you can be compatible with, have things in common with, it's more than likely gonna be someone you never even thought that you would be with. So your dream person, you don't even know who they are. Because that shit's gonna hit you out of nowhere.
SPEAKER_09Right. You don't get to build them. No, just not build a boyfriend, you know. If you could, oh my man on man. Yeah, look at Ken.
SPEAKER_06I love Ken. I love Ken. I love Ryan.
SPEAKER_09He has a pure heart, but Ken is a lot going on.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, he does. Wild boy.
SPEAKER_09That's all I have for our main topic today. Yeah. Settle or don't.
SPEAKER_06You know, don't settle, guys.
SPEAKER_09Come on.
SPEAKER_05Settle.
SPEAKER_09Don't be settled.
SPEAKER_05Settle down, settle down.
SPEAKER_09Definitely back.
SPEAKER_05Follow me for more dating advice. I've been single for three years. Follow.
SPEAKER_06Consistent track record.
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Proven effective. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Poetry stuff. I like it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Mm-hmm. Now it's time for having should have been a rap on site. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Everything lady. That's why I'm single.
SPEAKER_05I'm working on my rap career. We're ready for hot seat. We're ready. Give it to me. All right. We got staff and the phrase dirty pillows.
SPEAKER_04This is great.
SPEAKER_09I hate when people don't wash their pillowcases because it indicates that they have dirty pillows.
SPEAKER_05That's not what dirty pillows mean.
SPEAKER_01You know what dirty pillows are?
SPEAKER_09Oh no.
SPEAKER_05Titties.
SPEAKER_09Oh, this nigga sucks.
SPEAKER_01No, he doesn't.
SPEAKER_09Dirty pillows are titties. Mm-hmm. Nice.
SPEAKER_05There goes his sentence. He's like, I love that. I love dirty pillows.
SPEAKER_09I never thought about it like that. You're a baby. Put me on the game, lady.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Okay. Lay down a dog.
SPEAKER_05Oh, a question. Okay. You say that sex is the glue to a relationship. Why is that?
SPEAKER_09You're gonna hate me because my answer to this is a little like I think it's incredible that humans have the capacity to make more humans.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. It's fine.
SPEAKER_09Impossible. But yeah, we do it.
SPEAKER_01It's impossible.
SPEAKER_09Because it's possible. My germ enters a woman's germ and then life. What? I just think that that's crazy. So for me, I look at it a little more metaphysical, spiritual, in the sense where it brings literal life to the planet. You guys are moms, so you well versed in the subject, right? He does that to you, and then you gotta wait, and baby's literally growing inside you. Something I'm never gonna understand.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's a beautiful experience for me.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, I just I know that that is and then that's just what happens, but the actual act is cleaving onto one another in the most intimate way possible.
SPEAKER_06We don't just do that with everybody, but people do do that with everybody.
SPEAKER_09As we turns out as it turns out, is we're it's a ha it's happening. It's a girls, but that for me is the most intimate thing you can do with another person. Yeah, not just words, your bodies are little literally connected, and that's a glue.
SPEAKER_06I'm not trying to make it look like that, but right.
SPEAKER_09For lack of a illustration, guys, you guys are cleaving to one another, and that has its own implications with hormones, and it has its own implications with emotions and DNA and all the things, right? So for me, when I say that, it's I really mean that you you bond to one another. In the biblical sense, a lot of times the the soul tie term comes into play where you're giving some of your stuff to the other person. We know that that's happening on a genetic level. Literally, but emotionally, spiritually, from a soul level, especially people who are out here fucking mad mad people, people's energies are clinging to them, you know. Yeah, and then they don't understand why they have these bipolar tendencies and things like that.
SPEAKER_01Well, you've been why you're depressed or that nigga's depressed.
SPEAKER_09That nigga's broke. That nigga ha has shit going on with his mama, and it gets deeper. So even though it's a fun 50 pumps, like Bernie Max likes to say. So it's deeper for me. I think it's binds us off. Yeah. I know it.
SPEAKER_01It was good.
SPEAKER_05She's all right. Next, shut up.
SPEAKER_01That was real good. Sorry.
SPEAKER_05Step again.
SPEAKER_09Three P. We learn y'all something, and it's high.
SPEAKER_05And the word bigger bean. Like she's a pig.
SPEAKER_09I have yet to see a bigger bean mean a bigger bean, but than the one you already saw.
SPEAKER_06You said you seen a big thing.
SPEAKER_09Oh, now niggas is lying. It wasn't it wasn't like it wasn't looking like no dicks.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, you did say that.
SPEAKER_09It was just a bigger bean. It was a slightly bigger.
SPEAKER_05You have yet to see a bigger bean than the bigger bean you already seen. Dr. Sused out this motherfucker. That was good.
SPEAKER_09Okay. And it turns out the bean is way bigger than the actual bean.
SPEAKER_05It gets bigger.
SPEAKER_09Well, it's not just the bean, the the rest of it.
SPEAKER_05You're not coming up here.
SPEAKER_09What are you talking about? The scientists mapped the clitoris.
SPEAKER_05Oh, it's bigger?
SPEAKER_09It's way bigger. The nerves are way way.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, there's like a hood on it.
SPEAKER_09There's a lot. Your whole pelvic area.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_09There's nerves that are attached to your clitoris.
SPEAKER_05Play me like a bodily. Definitely got a anyway, one more.
SPEAKER_09Go for it.
SPEAKER_03It's you.
SPEAKER_05And I don't know. Damn. He ruined this for us. Fuck. Where's the wildest place you ever had sex? Where's the wildest place I've ever?
SPEAKER_09The wildest place I've ever had sex. Ooh. Outside of Olive Garden.
SPEAKER_05What the fuck? This is before or after the meal. After the meal. This nigga said outside of Olive Garden, brother. That's hilarious. Good for you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. That's funny. It's good though.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Oh my god. Damn. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_05Yo.
SPEAKER_01I don't even like Olive Garden.
SPEAKER_09I do like Olive Garden.
SPEAKER_01I haven't been there in I like their soup. So many years. I don't like soup at all.
SPEAKER_05Unless Tina makes it. Tina, I love your soup. You make good soup. Chicken noodle soup. I like soup. But I'm not a soup girly. Not a soup girly.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, I'm down for it.
SPEAKER_00I'm down.
SPEAKER_05Give me a soup. Sorry, Hasi was rigged. Your name was the only name on the wheel because we were trying to eat you up for being so fucking sexually motivated. But he ruined it. He ruined it, Risa. He did ruin it. That was a really good answer because that was the main one I wanted him to fucking answer like a pig. Philosophical ass. Well, because I feel like kids. And you took it in. And you took it in. And you get these people who are tired of your shit.
SPEAKER_09Wow. That's great.
SPEAKER_05He ruined it. He ruined our shit. Yeah, he did.
SPEAKER_09God forbid a man has his thoughts about sex. I'm not a hoe. I mean, maybe I am. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Fiction. Whatever, nigga.
SPEAKER_05Anyway. Would you rather?
SPEAKER_02Would you rather move on?
SPEAKER_05From Stefan ruining my fucking segment. Yeah, for sure. This is gonna be a little speed round, friends. Love speed rounds. Don't think, just answer it. Alright, shit. Would you rather be single or in a relationship? In a relationship, you asked me. Me too. Trader Joe's or Whole Foods? Whole Foods. Whole Foods. Whole Foods. I've never been to Trader Joe's.
SPEAKER_01Love Trader Joe's. Not missing anything. Sunny or rainy days? Rain. Sunny days. It's just a rainy day.
SPEAKER_05Can you quickie or foreplay? Foreplay. Fore play. What's the first one you said? Quickie. Foreplay, fuck. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Make it last, baby.
SPEAKER_09Yes.
SPEAKER_05Make it last, baby. Oh yeah. PDA or keep it private. PDA. I'm all over the A. I'm on your ass. Tuning it down. Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Grab my butt. Resort or cruise ship? Resort. I'm good on that ship ship. And we're all set. Tattoos or piercings. Tattoo! Tattoos for sure. Pow pow pow pow pow all day.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Okay. That's all I got for you guys today. That was good. That was good. It was Phoebe. Yes. We didn't think. Good job.
SPEAKER_03Hit me a honest dances. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. What are we getting into?
SPEAKER_09We're gonna play a game again.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_09More games. Love it. Facts. We're debatable. Debatable.
SPEAKER_01This is almost like would you rather?
SPEAKER_09Kinda sort of.
SPEAKER_01No, it's not. But it's not.
SPEAKER_09Facts are debatable. There's some polarizing thoughts. Alright, ready? Got some statements for you.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_09Splitting the bill evenly on the first date is fair. Fuck you.
SPEAKER_02I'm not doing it. Facts are debatable.
SPEAKER_05Oh, sorry. Debatable.
SPEAKER_02Wow.
SPEAKER_05Damn, my bad. Niggas say wow. I'm just take me on a date, you're paying. I'll offer to pay the tip just because I'm a fucking lentleman, but. That's not me.
SPEAKER_09But I'm just asking a question. If we're out. You're saying wow for the guys who are like this is just me asking what typically happens in the world. Okay. All right. Shut up. Sick. Living together before marriage improves the relationship. Facts are debatable.
SPEAKER_05Debatable. Facts.
SPEAKER_09It's a shit show. I'm not gonna do it. Yeah, either way.
SPEAKER_05I think either way.
SPEAKER_06Yes.
SPEAKER_05But debatable.
SPEAKER_09Okay. You should never go through your partner's phone.
SPEAKER_05Facts. Facts. Yeah, mine your business is. It's not your business.
SPEAKER_09Please find your business. Long distance relationships rarely work.
SPEAKER_05That's debatable. Debatable.
SPEAKER_09Your partner should be your best friend.
SPEAKER_05Facts.
SPEAKER_09Good. Cheating is an automatic breakup.
SPEAKER_05That's debatable. Facts. Even if we get back together, I'm breaking up with you right then and there.
SPEAKER_02Because you need to feel my fucking absence, Nickel. That's what you wanted to do. That's what you wanted to do. I'm gonna go ahead and move around. Now you can think about it. That's what I'm doing.
SPEAKER_05Okay.
SPEAKER_09I got two more.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna say for some people. This was like a broad spectrum kind of thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm out of there. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_09Buying Starbucks every day is a waste of money.
SPEAKER_05Debatable?
SPEAKER_09Debatable.
SPEAKER_05That is not true.
SPEAKER_09It makes it feel good.
SPEAKER_05I need it. Yo.
SPEAKER_09Oh girl.
SPEAKER_05What the hell was that?
SPEAKER_09I hate it. I'm just asking questions. Water actually has a taste. Hello. I can't even talk today. Water actually has a taste. Your water does.
SPEAKER_05This shit is Yo. Sorry.
SPEAKER_09We're gonna get into that. Okay. I can't wait to talk about that shit.
SPEAKER_05Water has a taste. Facts. Yes.
SPEAKER_09Last one.
SPEAKER_05Facts.
SPEAKER_09Moving back in with your moving back in with your parents to save money is smart. Facts. That's all I got today.
SPEAKER_05That's good.
SPEAKER_09That was really give you some things to think about. This is stuff that's gonna be a good thing. I'm coming home, mama. I'm coming home.
SPEAKER_05Staying home. Don't fucking leave me. I won't leave you. I love you.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, that's funny.
SPEAKER_05Gotta have you.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_09That's facts undebatable. I love that. Yes.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that's good.
SPEAKER_09Give you something to think about.
SPEAKER_02Now it's time.
unknownUh-huh.
SPEAKER_07Hold up, bitch.
SPEAKER_04My bad. That was a lot. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Talk your shit.
SPEAKER_04Talk your shit. Who wants to talk their shit first to die? I do.
SPEAKER_09I understood that we were all being trained to enter the professional workspace as children. Now. For me, I'm not sure where the what I understand to be a vast population to not understand what professionalism is. Yeah. Yeah. I thought we were all going to the same, we did the same curriculums, stand in line, raise your hand, all the shit.
SPEAKER_01It's about this.
SPEAKER_09Come on. It's about that for real.
SPEAKER_01For sure.
SPEAKER_05What you're being taught at home. Everybody doesn't go to the same school either. But it just is like a lot of that influence comes from your communities. Obviously your home life. Yeah. The people you decide to be friends with. You know, it's just like the people you look up to.
SPEAKER_01If you're looking up to the ignorant motherfucker, then might come out like that. Yeah. Yeah. You think that that shit is cool, and that's what you're gonna try to portray yourself as.
SPEAKER_09Professionalism is a thing because we go to these jobs and we work for these people.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Right. You gotta carry yourself as such in those circles. That's what is expected of you.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_09If you don't want to act like that, there are other things you can do. Most people say, Well, I need money, so I go to the job, but it's not just about the money though. You kind of have to play the part.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Which indicates you need to carry yourself a certain way. Is it called is it called faking? No. Because they still want your personal personality.
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_09They still want you. You're still the perfect candidate for the job for your personality.
SPEAKER_05They just want you to conduct yourself in a manner that is a personal for a business that you're working for. Yeah. That is not yours. That you're representing.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, that's wicked.
SPEAKER_05They don't care. It's crazy. They don't. And when there's hardly any consequences, yeah. What is there to care about?
SPEAKER_09So then I gotta entertain space around you.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna act like you ain't there unless I absolutely have to act like you're there.
SPEAKER_09And that's no dis because you're a human being and you have your cool. I just know that. For me, I'm supposed to walk with this level of poise, decorum, self-respect, all the things.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_09Regulated, controlled.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_09I'm already black. You know what I mean? So gotta come correct. So that's what I won't talk much about. Sotheist. That gives me the ick.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_05That shit is really disgusting, actually.
SPEAKER_06What about you, Chris Murray?
SPEAKER_05Hey, you know what? I've been wanting to say this for a while, but we've been talking about so much other shit. If you drive a Jeep, a Wrangler, whatever, and I put my P sign up, motherfucker, put that shit up. It's like if you're not, you ain't gang. You ain't gang. Like, I can't stand that. And I like look at, you know, I follow some Jeep pages, and people are in the comments like, oh, I don't sick, I don't do the sign up to people who have ducts in their car or they just think it's stupid or whatever. Like, just say you're miserable and you don't like fun things.
SPEAKER_06It's just, but it just is like a thing.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's like Wranglers and I think it's cute. Yeah, it's fun. Yeah. I love the fact that, like, I don't know if everybody knows this who has like a Jeep or whatever. We didn't either. Any kind of Jeep, honestly. But they come with little stamps on them. Yeah. Like usually up by like your windows or anywhere else. Like you kind of search for them. Sandals. Mine has like flip-flops and like the Jeep around it. And then some people have the lizards, some people have the frog. There's a bunch of different things if you look around on your Jeep. You can find them. And also, I just wanted to like give a little history on how like who started the Jeep Wave and like who started the ducking for the Jeeps. So the Jeep Wave, like when I looked it up, the origin story was it said something about like soldiers during World War II when they drove those trucks and they would. I guess I didn't dive too deep into it, but I was more interested in the ducking. So a lady named Allison Parliament, she's from Canada. She started it in 2020 just as like a random act of kindness during COVID. So, like, you know, people were down and out and stuff, and she just started ducking the Jeeps after that. And it just everybody went crazy doing it. So I just thought that that was really cool. She also died like in. I'm sorry, I should have had this together. Well, she started it in 2020, and maybe I'll, you know, I don't want to spend too much time trying to look all this up, but she died, I think, from like some kind of illness in like 2025, maybe. So yeah, but I just thought that was awesome to kind of share. Yeah, right, right. Yeah, that's what I wanted to do. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09That's such an excellent way of showing love. And now you're remembered because of that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. It's so dope. Just like that. And I love ducking people, and I love when I get ducked. I got ducked like three times last weekend. It was great. Nice. So yeah. That's cute. And they're so cute. I love them. They are cute. There's so many ducks. Yeah, but that's just my, you know, don't freaking shame other people for doing the wave and all that. It's a good time. And I I love it. You just feel like you're part of a community. And like when you duck people and they catch you ducking them, it's just such a good time.
SPEAKER_09Oh, nice.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. It's like making people's day. So makes my day. Nice. It's cute. Yeah. Well, Louisa. I like that.
SPEAKER_09Me too.
SPEAKER_05Mine is I really don't like men who gossip. I don't like anyone who really gossips, honestly, because especially if like you're a friend of mine or were, and I hear you like gossiping about someone else who's supposedly a friend, or whatever the case may be, is just like, if you're doing that to that person, I'm for sure knowing you're doing that to me. And that shit is just fake to me. Yeah, it's disgusting.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I don't like it at all.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Specifically for men though. Yeah. Yeah, that's why.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05It just like kind of gives like insecure or whatever. Like you're in competition or you're immature or whatever the case may be, and I don't like it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I like it. Dirt bag. I like it a lot. Yeah. It's a good one. Stop looking at me. I didn't say it. It's your segment. Well, now we're going on to yours.
SPEAKER_03Yay! Let's tone it down with some health, wealth, and positivity. If I could go to sleep right now, I'm gonna stay up for this.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_06I hope so. Welcome to Health, Wealth, and Positivity.
SPEAKER_02Thanks for having us.
SPEAKER_06Thank you. I'm glad you can make it.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_01I love that you guys show up for me constantly. Yeah, I love showing up.
SPEAKER_06For our health portion, healing will make you incompatible with your old life.
SPEAKER_05Hells, yeah. I receive that. Yes. Yeah. Healing is just something that is like so rooted in, I feel like, strength because like you're hurting. Obviously, there's something in you that's hurting from somewhere, and now you have to do this work to get out of that and heal. It doesn't mean that it's not gonna like when you think about it. Still doesn't hurt or whatever, but it's just something that you're not letting keep you down or stop you from living your life or doing things that you need to do or wanna do.
SPEAKER_06So yeah.
SPEAKER_09I like it.
SPEAKER_05Thank you. For a wealth portion. Build something of your own.
SPEAKER_01Podcast. That's right.
SPEAKER_05You can't budget your way out of a lack of income.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Yes.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_09And there's a million more way one ways to make money today. Yeah, for sure. Too many.
SPEAKER_05I quit my job, guys.
SPEAKER_01Congratulations. Good. Thanks.
SPEAKER_05One of them.
SPEAKER_09Just one of them.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, for sure.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_05Positivity. You can be soft and still not be played with. Have discernment. Yeah. At all times.
SPEAKER_09You're a wholesome menace.
SPEAKER_05Don't play with you are. And don't let nobody play with you. Hell's not.
SPEAKER_09I receive that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_09I feel like a lot of times for a man to be kind of characterized as soft, that's like a disrespectful, yeah. But what I know is that every gangster, every thug wants his lady to know that you're approachable, you're soft, you are a safe space. You want to be soft with your lady.
SPEAKER_08Right.
SPEAKER_09So I know we get into the alpha male, you know, beta simp kind of language in our social media culture, but that's for the YNs. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I mean, millennials are even more than a lot of people.
SPEAKER_02I do too.
SPEAKER_01I feel like two, uh, they do too, and I'm not interested in it.
SPEAKER_02Well, because they have YN mindsets. Right. You have you can treat it.
SPEAKER_03You either are RN or you ain't. Right.
SPEAKER_05In case you're confused, a real nigga.
SPEAKER_09Yeah. You can treat your lady like a lady. This is why I treat you ladies the way I do, and I speak to you the way I do, because I really see you as ladies. I believe that. That's so sweet. Ladies of the court, as it will. As it will. And I am a gentleman of the court. We stopped doing that. And that's why niggas is like. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Girl Gluckman is down with the bitches and hoes now.
SPEAKER_05Right. Bill Gluckman. Who's that?
SPEAKER_09If I didn't get it right. Malibu, Malibu's most wanted. Oh god. Bill Gluckman is B Rad's dad.
SPEAKER_05I probably watched that shit one a half a time. A half a time. I wouldn't even finish it. Some shit just ain't funny to me. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09I don't know why I remember that, but I do.
