SPEAKER_02

Hello and welcome to the wholesome menace podcast. I'm your host, Chris Marie. We got Risa Lynn and Steph in the building.

SPEAKER_01

Always, always. What's going on?

SPEAKER_02

Love it here.

SPEAKER_01

Folks, we blew past episode 20, like we didn't even know.

SPEAKER_02

We didn't even acknowledge it. I know. When we got done recording, Steph's like, that was episode 20. I'm like, no, we didn't even say it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, and it's crazy because like we were uh just at episode one, I remember.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Here we are now.

SPEAKER_02

20. That's awesome.

SPEAKER_01

Months later, we're busting out our 21st episode now. You know, and it it's a milestone, again, because statistically speaking, most podcasts don't make it past episode seven, right? Yeah. So we're double that and then some and right, you know, definitely have our podcaster legs under us. So that's really good to like you know, know that this is a skill that we have and we can do it. And yeah, we show up and we show out every time. So that's I don't know, encouraging.

SPEAKER_02

I feel really good about it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, too. Same fucking same.

SPEAKER_03

I'm definitely putting public speaker on my resume.

SPEAKER_01

No funny shit. God's really funny that you say that because I was really thinking that I need to like diversify my communication and how I'm doing it. So I actually said that uh to Crystal, maybe like doing like a high school auditorium type of thing. That would be dope. All the kids these days want to be content creators, right? They understand that that's where the world is going.

SPEAKER_03

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Varista's right, Var East well, but every single one of them are on TikTok running their brand up, whatever they're doing, right?

SPEAKER_03

Barist has so many followers, he gets like a hundred K views, like it's insane on his real study makes it.

SPEAKER_01

Being being in that space is something I've been thinking about a lot. Just not necessarily that I need to be on a TED talk, but you know, yeah, finding different avenues to refine the art of communication.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's really dope.

SPEAKER_01

That'd be cool.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I want to do a TED Talk. I think you would snap. I think so too, especially with your heart stuff and all that experience, and just even the stuff you talk about on the pocket. That's awesome. Yeah, I really just need to do my channel. Gotta get some shit under your belt.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I need to do my channel first and like get some traction and yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I think that would be really cool. Yeah, I just feel like with us doing this, I've learned a lot of different things just about entertainment, social media, just doing all of it because I wasn't into any of this, you know. I'm like, let's start a podcast. And now every day we're learning more and more of what goes into it. Yeah. And it's great, it's fun. I love learning new things.

SPEAKER_01

So this is actually a thing that I would encourage. Like if I had to give my kids an avenue, I would tell them to be a content creator, work for yourself, yeah, and stick to it so that you can reap what you sell. Right, for sure. So I wouldn't tell them to go to a college and go into debt and for a job that's probably gonna be obsolete in a few years, right? I wouldn't tell them to do that. I would say take what you have, the God-given talent you have, and find a media that will allow you to produce revenue from that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you know. But that's why I do sports with key. Yeah, because a lot of times kids can get scholarships and she's very good. Yeah, she just won a couple medals. They have a ceremony coming up for the kids next month, which is amazing. So, you know, she does volleyball, she does track, and she's very good. Getting it, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I love that. She's awesome.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I love watching her. Yeah. So now I'm trying to get the twins into it.

SPEAKER_01

Varys wants to play sports.

SPEAKER_03

Varys wants to run track. I brought him to the track with me a couple times. You were there the one time. He didn't even want to leave. But he wants to do that, so we're gonna start this summer. Yeah, and Brielle's interested in volleyball, so she's actually starting this month.

SPEAKER_02

They're doing like clinicals, so she's gonna do that with Key.

unknown

Cool.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, sports mom.

SPEAKER_02

For sure.

SPEAKER_01

I want to be a sports mom.

SPEAKER_03

It was a very busy, busy schedule, but I enjoy it. I bet I love it. That's good, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, ladies, let's get into some attitude and gratitude. Let's do it. So today today's main topic is like really gonna be an interesting one for me, but I thought our attitude and gratitude segment would be a good space to kind of I guess lay out some internal thoughts so that our main topic made at least some some type of sense. Alright. So I started thinking about it. So we are humans who have these bodies, but our feelings, emotions, attitudes, even our gratitude is all an internal process. Yeah, it's something that we do on the inside and then we push it out into the world, right? And that was what I was kind of like leaning into. Let me open my notes so I can unpack it a little bit. Your attitude is an internal process, your gratitude is internal, and they flow outward, right? So today's main topic is about like I put I put the topic title as the church is starting to become a curse word. Because it like, and right rightfully so, like the what we understand to be the Western Christian Catholic Church has done a very poor job at pr representing the person of Yeshua, might be gonna say Jesus, because that's not what that is, right? Yeah, gonna give you the real deal. We've done a very poor job of representing that. So yeah, even in Canada, boom, I was in Montreal. The word tabernacle in French Tavern Tabernacle is it's like the equivalent of saying fuck. Yeah, right, really, yes, no bullshit, bro. That's the equivalent. Like they'll they say it in in Montreal, like as a curse. Yeah, I would be dying laughing. So I the first time I heard that, I was like, what the Yeah, no, the governor, yeah, and he and they really have a very, very bad relationship with the especially in the Catholic Catholic Church in that area. So I wanted to talk about fruits, like the fruits of the spirit, the things that Yeshua actually really says that you should do or she should embody or become, or things that should flow out of you from an attitude perspective. Yeah, and also wanted to talk about the deeds of the flesh, which are I'm not talking about sin, I'm talking about because again, that's another word that niggas be getting really fucked up about, right? Yeah, you're a sinner. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the things that come from the out inside of your body that you push out into the world, whether they're your behaviors, your ethos, what you believe, your morality, all those things. Yeah. Alright. So in Galatians, the Apostle Paul writes about the fruits of the Spirit. He says the fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Those are fruits that should be produced in your life that you have to choose to produce in your life and push out into the world.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Right? In the same way, the works or deeds of the flesh are this: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissension, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, and revel reveries, things of that nature. None of those things are particularly sins, but those are behaviors that that come out of humans and cause and go out into the world. We do those things. Right. And I feel like a lot of times we the we put that word sin on people because of the things that they have in their lives when those are just your flesh, your little human ego, your human desires, and how you act unchecked, those are the things that show up in your life. Yeah, by and large, some of those.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_01

What do you guys feel is the I guess biggest point of contention that most people have with Christian or churchy people or things of that nature? What do you feel like is the biggest thing?

SPEAKER_02

They're very judgmental.

SPEAKER_03

It's not even just that they're just because so am I, but it's that they're judgmental and they do the wildest shit.

SPEAKER_01

Right. I just read you some of the works of the flesh. Some of those things sexual morality, impurity, yeah, fits of rage, selfish ambitions, are things that people who go to church literally do.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. But you're still judging other people for the way they dress or maybe their tattoos, or and obviously this isn't all Christians, all categories. I've just experienced things. It's like the judging for a lot of things when you're supposed to be a godly holy person. I thought he doesn't judge. You're at home beating the shit out of your kids with a fucking stick. Yeah. Or your husband's fucking work. Or molesting your kids weird shit.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_02

You know what I'm saying? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Bunch of crazy shit happening in this world. And and then they judge. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And then because they're going into church that they're a good person, and their sins that they're doing at home will be forgiven, but you keep doing it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, for sure. That's your tweaking. But what I know is that those are the people who do those types of things are not representing what Yeshua's saying, which is being loving.

SPEAKER_03

And that's not every for every person that is in the church. Like there are people genuinely there.

SPEAKER_01

But the but the so the other day you said I'm never going in there. Congratulations, guys. They cooked that. Because you should be able to go into that building and feel love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control. You should feel that. You don't even want to go into that building because you know the you know stuff. No, no offense to you, they've made it so that that the genuine the general populace doesn't even want to go into those buildings because of the other things that I just read. Yeah, they're looking at you for that they have in their own house. You know, and I I really just wanted to unpack that because again, it's an internal process. The good and the bad, they're both internal processes that we are all responsible for culture.

SPEAKER_02

And then it comes down to that self-control.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. 100%.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, you have to have it, no matter how gut-wrenching sometimes, or even if you want to lash out, you just gotta be able to hold it down. So, like when you gain that skill and you do, it's warranted. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Sometimes I in my own life, I'm trying to master this body. I know that I have desires that are not necessarily wholesome. And whether it's you know, sleeping with women, whether it's any other things that I might engage in, right? My goal is to try to bring myself to equilibrium and not give in to those base desires. Most people don't choose that at all. At all. Their attitude is to allow their stuff to be going for it. But our world is the way it is because people live unchecked.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They live unchecked and they let their flesh operate for them.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So anything just happens. But when you have self-control, when you live in peace, when you have patience, you and you cultivate those things. That's why it's called a fruit, because those things are grown inside of you.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

You have to grow them. And grow you grow, you have a you are a gardener, so you understand that growing is a patient process. You might not see the fruit of it.

SPEAKER_02

Nurturing, you have to nurture, right? You have to nurture that shit inside of you. You have to do it.

SPEAKER_01

Correct.

SPEAKER_02

It's constant work, it never stops.

SPEAKER_01

That's that's what I want to talk about. That's what I want this portion of attitude and gratitude to reflect because it's not a I go to church and now I'm holier than you are. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Right. Now I'm better than you.

SPEAKER_01

Now I'm better than you. Now I get to judge you. You have to do the work.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. You're going to hell.

SPEAKER_01

Develop and grow this fruit in your life that doesn't just eliminate the other things that you your body wants to do, but now your operating thing is. Checks it, controls it. Correct. You be asking me a lot of times, Stefan, you be so calm. It's not because I don't feel this shit. It's not because I don't want to wild out on somebody, but I have patience. I've cultivated patience in my life. That's awesome. I've cultivated self-control. I've cultivated love. So I'm not gonna come at you with hatred, even though I feel like I'm trying to give you something that you don't really want right now. Yeah. You know what I mean? Those are right, and so the again, my operating system shifts what I would like to do to what I know my heart's telling me to do, which is to be operating love and not hatred. Right. Operating peace and not chaos. Does that make sense? Yeah, it does make sense. So that's a better representation of what Yeshua is trying to teach than the hypocrisy that we see a lot of times in quote unquote church. Yeah, that's all I wanted to share for attitude and gratitude. And it's just so that we can unpack the main topic, which is kind of kind of a heavy one. So hopefully you guys are sticking around. Please track this is good stuff, and I think that a lot of times we don't talk about it, we don't bring it up, religion, because politics. Because one, we don't have people who are intelligent enough to have the conversation, and two, we don't have some safe spaces for people to be voice their opinions about what they disagree with without getting angry or out of pocket.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right, which is completely ridiculous. Yeah, so and some people are just scared to say the things about certain topics, right? I will not, yeah. So things get a little touchy at times, for sure. For sure. Touchy is good, that's what we need for that's what wholesome menace is about.

SPEAKER_01

Like we will get into the nitty-gritty of it all. Yeah, that's where we live. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

In that, yeah, guys. We've been talking, we've been real wholesome.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Need to bring you guys some menace coming soon. So, before we get heavy, let's play a game. Let's do it. I did so bad about that.

SPEAKER_01

So I got shit on. I think I got one point. We got one point.

SPEAKER_02

We got one. Yeah, that was wicked last time. You guys alright? You guys already okay?

SPEAKER_01

Uh I'm I'm doing alright. I think I'm doing good.

SPEAKER_02

Good. We need you. We need your hole. All right. We will start with what do we start with? A quote last time. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So we'll do a two.

SPEAKER_01

Better baby. Better.

SPEAKER_03

Well you kiss it better.

SPEAKER_01

Kiss it better. Yes. Yes. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

You gotta give me that.

SPEAKER_02

Alright. I'll give you guys, I'll give it both to you. I mean, that sounds crazy. I'll give it both to you. I'll give you both a point. What the fuck? Even was that? That wasn't even English. Yeah. I'll give it both to you. I'll give it to both of you. That's wicked. Yeah. My bad. They both got a point. I'm giving them a point. Thank you. What the hell? Yikes. All right. Good job on that tune. Oh, I didn't even give you your applause.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, let's put it. Woo!

SPEAKER_02

That was quick. Good team effort. Stephanie all over the place with a title. And he be trying to just fit it out. Thirsty.

unknown

All right.

SPEAKER_02

Here we go. Here's your quote.

SPEAKER_00

Do you think the jury should convict Carly Haley? Oh answer that question that he's a hero. You turn him loose.

SPEAKER_02

Damn! You're good, girl. You're good. I think I edited that wrong. He said Carly Haley. God damn. I know. But then I thought about that. I'm like, she ain't gonna remember that name.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think I've seen that.

SPEAKER_03

It's just Nancy McConaughey's boy.

SPEAKER_02

It's a good movie. A little gut wrenching it. Yeah. Very good. Racially charged. Yeah. Mm-hmm. It's good though. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So let's go for it.

SPEAKER_03

What's up?

SPEAKER_01

I think I've heard a song before by um drawing a blank. One more time. Some lyrics. I wish.

SPEAKER_03

I'm not gonna get it.

SPEAKER_02

We don't even need a timer, huh? When the sun goes down and the band won't play. Is that Lady Gaga? I always remember. I suck tonight. I'm tired. Always remember us. By Lady Gaga. Love that song.

SPEAKER_01

I was not there.

SPEAKER_02

What do you mean you weren't there?

SPEAKER_01

I don't want to say the ones that I think.

SPEAKER_02

It's probably now. Tank. We'll say it.

SPEAKER_01

I wanted to say I'm in heaven.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. But what I heard That Arizona sky. Burning in your eyes. You look at me. I love that song. And babe, I wanna catch on fire. I don't know.

unknown

Ah!

SPEAKER_02

I love it. It's a good one. It's a great one. Oh, we missed it. That was awesome.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Alright. That's a good one. One more quote. Nigga, stop looking at my shit. I see you. Look at him over here, Peter. She was like, I can't see shit, bro. Hello. That was aggressive, bro. Don't look at my shit. That was aggressive. I didn't look. I was a painful. That was so easy. What a loser.

SPEAKER_01

Fucking quick. These fucking TV shows.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I'm an idiot. I forgot I grew up on that classic. That was probably like a few. It is a fucking classic. You put that on here.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That was great. That's all I got. It was. It was good.

SPEAKER_04

Solid.

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

I liked it.

SPEAKER_02

Damn, you guys whooped my ass.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we got murdered.

SPEAKER_02

I got three.

SPEAKER_01

Three. Three, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Stop trying to play me. On live television.

SPEAKER_02

On live television. You want one more? If you got it. I got one more. I might as well use it. I might as well. We might as well.

SPEAKER_03

I know that.

SPEAKER_02

Tory lanes. Some. Some. Slum. Some. Some.

SPEAKER_03

It is Tory.

SPEAKER_01

I think it is Tory Lane's fluck.

SPEAKER_03

Flug. I don't know the name of.

SPEAKER_01

I wanted to say somebody else, but it might be Tory Lane's.

SPEAKER_03

No. Tory. Oh. Tori.

SPEAKER_02

No New Friends by Drake. You guys suck. Oh, I know it's Tori. I know it's Canada. Free fucking Tory. What the fuck? Oh the New Jersey. My bad. I am not filming that new album he just released from prison.

SPEAKER_01

I loved all three of those albums since we're talking about it. I loved all of them. Of course you did. I think they were great. And I haven't heard that song in a while, but now that I'm hearing it, I under I know the part that he sang. That was a good one, huh? That was great.

SPEAKER_02

And it's so funny because I feel like a lot of times when I pick the Drake songs, you guys don't get sometimes he does. Yeah. I've got him a couple times.

SPEAKER_03

You will really think I'm not a Drake fan, but I I love him down.

SPEAKER_02

Both of them, they're twins.

SPEAKER_03

Love you down, Aubrey.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you're great. I'm on the pod. That'd be great.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we love you. That would be fucking awesome. I think he'd be down the show. That shit would be hilarious. That's a funny nigga. Yeah, he's gonna take over the whole show. No, then he can't come. He can't come. He can't come because he can't be funnier than me. He ain't.

SPEAKER_01

Nah, that's probably hilarious.

SPEAKER_02

He's really funny. He's really funny. Nonchalant. Yeah. Nonchalant funny. Oh, he's a Scorpio. Well, then we haven't Jada on here too. He's a Gemini. Okay. I mean Jade the kiss.

SPEAKER_01

Definitely come on the pod for sure. I think that'd be a great.

SPEAKER_02

I love him. That'd be a great real ass nigga. All right. Well, that's all I have. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No money go listen to no new friends.

SPEAKER_02

No new friends. No new friends. I'm gonna listen to always.

SPEAKER_03

All right. Mm-hmm. Shut up.

SPEAKER_02

Now I'm doing. Hey, hey, hey. Hey. I love it. Thank you for coming. Stefan's been here. Stefan loves it here. Yeah. You believe control equals love?

SPEAKER_01

Fucking delusional. Fucking delusion. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Can't control me, bitch. I said no.

SPEAKER_01

I have a I think I have an open hand policy when it comes to love now.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna hold you like this. And if you choose to stay, great.

SPEAKER_03

I have an open door.

SPEAKER_02

Smacking bitches.

SPEAKER_01

Well or stay, really.

SPEAKER_02

But just you can go. You can go. You can go. Please. Get out. They told you reacting emotionally makes you weak. Delusional, yeah, for sure. That's good.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I'm the strongest. You are.

SPEAKER_03

You're a soldier.

SPEAKER_01

That just makes you emotional. Why are you weak? Because you need a reaction. That's so like.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And being emotional is not bad.

SPEAKER_03

No, it's not.

SPEAKER_01

It's a human process. What are we talking about?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. You need to be able to release express. Expression emotions.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. That's like, can I just say something? When people say that, oh, like you say something about somebody. Oh, well, they must be telling the truth or you must be lying. Like if people have a reaction about somebody telling a lie about them, nigga, you were lying about me. I'm gonna react how I want to. Yeah. Because I'm bugging out, that means it's true. Fuck you. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's just I just must say.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's always like saying I've always hated that. Maybe I'm just somebody who reacts to bullshit.

SPEAKER_01

And we're not the same thing.

SPEAKER_02

Because then even if I sit here and I don't defend myself, you're gonna be like, well, it must be true. You're gonna let me believe you're gonna let me believe what I want. I'm just gonna punch you in the throat. Well, that's it. Fuck either way. You go ahead and believe what you want. Yeah. Now, for real. You wasn't even in this motherfucker. Yeah. Yeah. Sorry, go ahead.

SPEAKER_03

Last one. Avoiding conflict keeps your relationships healthy.

SPEAKER_01

Delusional.

SPEAKER_03

For sure.

SPEAKER_01

For sure.

SPEAKER_03

Delusional.

SPEAKER_02

You're just making shit worse.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah, definitely. If you can't unhash it, it's to the point where it's unhashable. Please just call it quits at that point. Yeah. Yeah. You're better off if you just leave the situation alone.

SPEAKER_02

Right. And that's sad when I'm sure if it's unfixable. Some people just don't want to deal with anything. Yeah. Mm-hmm. So you need to be alone.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Those are good.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you. Delusions are lifestyle choices.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

That's all I have for the delusional and fix today.

SPEAKER_01

Very good.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you.

SPEAKER_01

I like that one a lot. I was thinking about that second one for sure, bro.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Delusional.

SPEAKER_03

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Very. Yeah. Ladies, on to that main topic. Um, yeah, the church, the word church has become a curse word, and it's sad for me because you know, I grew up going to church. Like my dad was raising me and my younger sibling, and that's he took us there every Sunday. We're there on Wednesdays, did the Sunday schools, all the things. So a lot of my upbringing comes from that space. Even as a child growing up, I saw a lot of the hypocritical, like all those things, but my moral compass comes from that space. Yeah. Does that make sense?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Like from that the word.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Um, but the reputation that the church has has not shifted, right? And the people who go to church or even have a reputation. Oh, you go to church.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Right. You know, you okay? Right. That's just the regular reaction nowadays, right? Instead of the opposite. We just talk about what should come out of that space. Oh, you go to church. I want you should want to go to the place that's loving and caring and joyful.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

But we don't.

SPEAKER_02

And I hate that because I think it's cool that people go to church and find like solace in that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. But one of the big reasons why people don't do it is because there's this fear-based faith where if you don't go to church, you're gonna go to hell. Completely taken out of context.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like entirely. Like the word in the Bible doesn't it says hell, it does talks about that for sure. But when they say things like you're burned in hell, right?

SPEAKER_02

God damn it. There's a place to go now.

SPEAKER_01

There was a place that the Israelites used to go dump their garbage at.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um, this is in in in antiquity there would there was a place called Gehenna that they would go and dump gar it was like a garbage dump.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

One of the reasons all some some of the times it was known for a place that they would sacrifice like babies and shit like that. And stuff like that was kind of actually kind of sick, but yeah, for sure. Some that's the reference that the burning in hell is type of is coming from. You know, that people will take out of context and use it as a ploy that if you don't sh change your behavior, yeah, that's where you're gonna end up. I personally don't really I can't tell another human being that I'm not here to judge you.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

If anybody's gonna judge us, it's gonna be the guy who made all of this and hopefully he's a cool dude. I think he is I think he's factored in that you're flawed. Yeah. You know, right.

SPEAKER_03

So people are not their mistakes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um what are some of the reasons that you feel like you would not even entertain a church or a building where Jesus or those types of things are being mentioned? We talked a little bit about it in Attitude and Gratitude segment, but what do you feel like is like the one of the biggest things that keep you from even like entertaining that?

SPEAKER_02

My biggest thing is like someone telling me that there's only one God and I have to just believe in this one God when there's so many stories of so many different gods and goddesses and things like that. So for me, I'm more of a spiritual person and believe in a lot of higher powers, more gods and goddesses, not just one particular god that you painted white as like some kind of savior or whatever the case may be. And and so that's like my main main reason why, because you're not gonna tell me who I have to worship, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_03

And then because, like I said, there's so many different gods and goddesses. Maybe I don't resonate with this one and I do with this other one, and then on top of that, it just seems like real, like we said, very judgmental. Some of the people that are there, very culty, and I'm not definitely gives that interested in being a part of anything like that, and I don't like anybody telling me what to do.

SPEAKER_01

I don't like what to do. You will not tell me what I will do with my life.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yo, that's funny as fuck.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. I feel like a lot of times the church dictates that. And it's again, like I said, I think it's a misrepresentation of what the bigger picture represents.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so yeah, yeah. Yeah, I've been to different churches. I've been to a Catholic church, I'm Catholic, not into it. I've been to a Christian church, not gonna lie, but it was lit. It was lit. Yeah, it was lit. I had a blast. Like I was, I like you know, just the way they're singing the word and just the way they did their thing. It was very like, you know, musical and it was my church, that it was lit, but still not my thing. Like, I don't I so was it me and you that were talking, and I'm like, I just don't think I'll ever go to church. Like, I'm not into it. Kind of have the same feelings Risa has felt about it, but you know how talking to the mic, goddamn. I would go for education, educational purposes, like not on like a journalistic kind of thing, but just for the experience. Now, me being a grown woman, maybe, but I just know that's not something that we got an understanding. But I feel like if I met someone and that was important to them, I would I would try. Like if my husband, something like that, yeah, I probably would give in a little. But I I'm not saying I don't believe or anything like that, I just don't feel like I need to be sitting inside of a church to prove to you on the church. To prove that I'm trying to be a good person out here, yeah. So we talk too because I had a conversation with someone who was kind of like dumping that on me, and people do that too. They'll dump, and it's like, bro, it's okay if that's what you believe. I respect it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's almost like what Q was saying when he was here about like just because you see me don't mean we have to talk about herbs, just for us to have a conversation.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, like I'm still a person and like outside of a lady that I know she was just talking about it, and she I was trying to explain to her that I don't feel like I need to sit in a building and worship someone for me not to go to hell because she was basically saying, Oh well, the book says, if you don't actually go in his house and basically like speak the word and do all this, then you're going to hell. Meanwhile, from what I understand, you be at the casino every goddamn week. So isn't that like something you're not supposed to do? So don't you go to hell for that. You're an addict.

SPEAKER_01

So here's what that's why I brought up the things in the in the attitude and gratitude segment about the things that we do.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. I was trying so hard to save it for here too, because I want to be like Yeah, because a lot of times it's you know, we Christians miss the plot.

SPEAKER_01

Again, it's a huge rep misrepresentation of what Yeshua would would be about if you were sitting in this room right now. Yeah, he wouldn't, I don't think he would even bring up the fact that he was a rabbi. He would just talk to you like you're a person.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

Right? Relate to you as you're a person, which is what I do with you. I don't I relate to you as I because I want to experience you. I want this, right?

SPEAKER_02

This doesn't mean that I have to dump yeah, just that's like very no. But but that's also why when he says certain things and phrases, it's easy to receive and be like, damn, that's good. Because I can listen without judging because of what you just said to me. Like I will never listen to anything that lady says to me. Of course not.

SPEAKER_01

And unfortunately, she's maybe her intentions were good, but she's misrepresented. Yeah. She's now you're turning me off even more. Precisely. And I say that to say it's all an internal process. You will say what you just said to me about you can receive what I said because I carry myself the way that Jesus would carry himself with love, with joy, with peace, with patience, with kindness, with goodness, with gentleness, and self-control. Yeah. Those are fruits that I develop in my life. And I believe that those things will make it easier for somebody to understand my worldview, why I am the way I am. Yeah. Not because I go to a building. Now, there's a reason why I would go to church because I believe in being around like-minded people.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, that's beautiful. Community. Community. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

At my church that I go to Life Church in Albany.

SPEAKER_02

So you think when we going to church? I'll go with you.

SPEAKER_01

The they the saying, there's a saying that life is better together. We have small groups that are for different things for hiking, for exercise, for fishing, different that's awesome. Different things, right? So that you're not it's not just a Bible thumping.

SPEAKER_03

Granted, it's integrated, but it's more but you're experiencing other people as well.

SPEAKER_01

That's what church is. Yeah. That's what what you just explained to me. Community. What you just explained to me are horrible misrepresentations of what Jesus would want it to look like. Because he would just say, Walk up to a tax collector and say, I want to have dinner at your house tonight.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's what Yeshua would say. Go read it. That's what it says. Zacchaeus, I want to have dinner at your house. Prostitutes, whores, tax collectors, mad niggas in that shit.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Sorry, God, cursing. But you know, I think you're okay. You know, doing the, you know, and he's chilling with them, and the religious people outside the house asking his man, his people, why are you and why is Jesus inside that house with those people?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Jesus' response was, I came to heal, I came for the sick, not the those who are healthy. So again, it's all a heart thing, it's all an internal process. Right. And it makes complete sense. When you look at it from the perspective that it's supposed to be looked at. Yes. And my goal is to is to represent what I believe in such a way that somebody like you who may not believe what I believe, not to say that you don't, right? Like we have, but can digest how I am and why I am the way I am. Yeah. You know. They might even want to be, hey damn, I need a little bit. That's why I have this shirt. Y'all need Jesus. Not because I believe in some white man who they painted to be the savior of the world. Right. Right. But I believe that there's a person who came and lived a life that is full of love. Like self-serving. Yeah. That shows you how to live in a world that is full of chaos, but you can still be loving, still be joyful. Like not happy, joyful.

SPEAKER_02

Like, yeah, yes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Which is a deeper cemented reality for yourself. You know what I mean? Instead of being a more chaotic person like the things we talked about earlier, you're in a rage all the time. Why? Because you have no joy, you have no peace in your life.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Those are things that you need to cultivate. Yeah. In hopefully in a community, in a church of like-minded people.

SPEAKER_02

And you're in this space, like, say, this is someone who is that miserable, you go to church, but you're so busy judging people, yeah. And instead of helping people, yeah. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

So she doesn't even go to church if she knows what's up.

SPEAKER_02

Insane.

SPEAKER_01

But it's easy to understand it when you remove the religion and Christianese from it and you look at it for what it's supposed to be looked at. You're a human being. And you're not just your body, there's something else inside of you that operates this whole thing. Yes. And you can dictate how it moves based on what you put in. If you put garbage in there, garbage is gonna come out. If you put love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self-control in there, some goodness in there, good is is inevitably gonna f come out. That's why I do what I do because I want it to come out. Right. That way I can be a blessing to others.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

You know?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and you are for sure. So are you. Thank you. Yeah. I received that. So are you? So are you, Reesus. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, I got it two times. Yeah, don't leave me out.

SPEAKER_01

So again, the segment was not necessarily about attacking faith. Both of you guys, I will tell both of you right now to my to your face that I love my Bible.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I believe every man should have something that he stands for. If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything. Absolutely. I stand on that because I believe it. All of it. Even the good and the bad. And the stuff that I still struggle with, I'm human and God's leading me through that. Yeah. You know? It's about so it's not about attacking faith, it's about wrestling honestly with this stuff and painting the picture as clear as it can be for people who are listening to this who don't necessarily have a voice to or a platform to say the things. Yeah. Again, we don't talk about shit like this. This is a probably a very taboo topic in the media world. Yeah. Right? And I can almost guarantee you, nine times out of ten, somebody else is probably resonating with what you're saying. Yeah. Most people are resonating.

SPEAKER_02

Let us know, guys. Tell us your experiences about that. Actually, call in.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, please. I would love to unpack that with you.

SPEAKER_02

I'm telling you, because when I had that conversation with that lady, I wish I had someone right there listening, feeling the same way I did, because it's like it was a lot. Yeah, like don't shut. It down my throat. Shovin't it.

SPEAKER_01

How far? I just would rather be like Jesus and show you what that's like.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_01

I want to show you what that's like and how I carry myself. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So you have no and how do you know I'm not carrying myself that way in life outside of going to church? Right.

SPEAKER_01

Outside of a stray curse word that might come out.

SPEAKER_02

And I said that.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_02

You have no idea what type of relationship I have with my most high. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So and to your point, you said something really interesting later. Don't or earlier, don't make no mistake. It's a lot of shit going on out here. Right. Spirits, principalities, that shit is not no joke. There's a reason they put it in the Hollywood.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They know it's real, so they're just giving it to you in a programmable way. But make no mistake, you are your human flesh is one thing, your internal spirit is another thing. There's malevolence, there's actual evil in the world. You don't got you can turn on CNN and see it for yourself. Yeah. So those are humans doing it, but they're operating with a different type of situation. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Right. So and she also said one more thing. Like, kind of was like down in other religions. Like, I'm not a very religious person. It's more spiritual, we know that. But I don't down what other people believe. Like saying, you know, Buddhism, Allah. You know, I respect people who have something to follow, who like you, you stand on your Bible. There's people who stand on Allah, there's people who stand on Buddhism, and what whatever else there might be, you know. So she's like, was just kind of downplaying and saying all that they're not God. And maybe they're not, but it to someone they are. They are they're they have their own gods. Yes, their own religions, their own beliefs. Same thing with Christianity and being Catholic. Like there's different beliefs in those communities.

SPEAKER_01

I went to this um conference years ago. It was like an apologetics conference, and the guy asked a question. He said, If the Bible was true, would you believe it? And some people couldn't answer the question because it wasn't a logic thing. Can I get one? No, I gotta get more. So it's not like a logic thing. Right. Do I think with all the intellectual knowledge that I have that that book that it's on my desk desk over there is facts or has a lot of facts in it? Yes. Yeah. Because I can trace a lot of historical things back to that book.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_01

Like real shit that happened in real life.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Real people, I can trace it back to things that happened in real life. So there's a lot of things I can I can verify.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Can I do that with other religions? Possibly. But I I haven't studied them enough to have an opinion on those things.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_01

So I'm not going to speak on those things.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So for someone to open their mouth and say those things are false because mine's just true. Yeah. Without having the full understanding of what those things are.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And not growing up in that place fashion.

SPEAKER_01

It might not shape my worldview. I'm probably still going to believe what I believe, but I wouldn't speak on it. I just wouldn't speak on it. I don't know anything. What I do know is what I can tell you about myself is that I try to be more loving, more joyful, more peace, more peaceful, more patient with everybody that I meet.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_01

Right? Those things that those that's how I would, if I was that woman, I would have interacted with you, and that would have been a better witness to what she says she believes in.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Because even when she said that about other people's religions, I'm like, I don't feel like that. And again, what you're saying, like you're not even educated enough on these you know, religions or whatever to even downplay them or talk down about them. Because big picture, if it was someone who practiced those things saying that about you and your religion, yeah, you'd be probably trying to burn them at the stake. Yeah. You'd be beside yourself. Yeah. So that people can't get their heads out of their own fucking asses. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's all I have for my main topic. It was a kind of a heavy one, but I hope it kind of like It was interesting, though.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

In a more like intellectual way, so that you can take that information and process it as you would with your worldview. How does it relate to what you believe?

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_01

All of it boils down to what you believe.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

All of it. So again, this is not me bashing Christians, but y'all niggas can do way better, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Not bashing any of you know, anybody that has any certain beliefs, but it's just like trying to be more open-minded, transparent, empathetic, and understand that your religion isn't the end all be all to everybody's world. Right.

SPEAKER_01

I would also say that I don't think religion. Religion is the is the thing.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's the people. I don't think it's as far as it relates to me, what I understand the Bible to be is more of a relationship with the most high, with Yeshua. Yes. And understanding your yourself. I think it's more of that than it is a real a system of beliefs or things that you must. That's why when I read and I read this the things that he literally said, I'm like, damn, he was speaking facts. Let me read about this guy some more. Oh, we know a lot about him. Like more than we should about some random black guy in the Middle Eastern who died.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Why? And then you go down the proverbial rabbit hole and see that there's lineage and there's history, prophecies, and things of that nature. We don't gotta get into that, but again, you have one life to live.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_01

I choose to seek purpose in what I understand the Bible to be. Right. And I choose to live my life in a way that lets people see that light. And then they and then I can just point it to what I believe about God. That's it. Right. Because it's not really about me. I don't I because I feel the other things like I was saying. Get fits of anger all the time. Yeah. You know? But I just I process it differently because I believe what I believe.

SPEAKER_02

So you're a gentleman and a scholar.

SPEAKER_01

You ladies are amazing.

SPEAKER_02

Shake my hand. Well. Love it.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, that was great. Yeah, that's not gonna be better than the hot seat.

SPEAKER_02

Hold on, I just I gotta play this one more time for the end of the end of the main topic. Yo, that's the best sound to it. That's perfect for Stephon.

SPEAKER_04

I can't believe it. I didn't say that. Rita said that. I didn't say that.

SPEAKER_01

That's perfect for you. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Well, that book error. I fucking love it. Silly. Yeah. Now dun.

SPEAKER_03

She's over here laughing when she was looking at those cuts and she got.

SPEAKER_00

Oh no.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. This is gonna be rich. This is gonna be rich. It's hilarious. Give me a break, guys. It's the hot seat. Okay. Sorry. Give me a second. Things aren't going my way. Yeah, go ahead, stretch it out.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. I'll give it like a tick. Sorry, guys.

SPEAKER_03

Tick! Take it easy.

SPEAKER_01

Cut the I don't think I ever used a cut the tape, though.

SPEAKER_03

We keep rolling until I say.

SPEAKER_01

Heard. Your cut the tape Mother's Day episode was the perfect. Perfect cut the tape. I need to hear like.

SPEAKER_03

I don't remember it.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. We'll talk about it later. Roll scene.

SPEAKER_02

How did you engage? Okay. I'm sorry, Stats that's the phone. Go ahead. That was expensive. I'm just trying to make some bloopers.

SPEAKER_01

Yo. All right. Alright, ladies, let's get into some facts or debatable.

SPEAKER_03

Cut the game. Like, what the fuck? All that shit you talking. Ah, yes.

SPEAKER_02

All right. Our first name picked is Risa. I think society would actually be a hundred percent better off if we completely banned what? Oh heavens. All of society. All of society. If we completely banned social media. They're gonna hate you. Especially the YN's.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you stopped.

SPEAKER_02

You really have now you really have to be out here being yourself, like really being social with people. Yeah. I like that people offline, in person, fake ass bitches. Gotta go to Blockbusters. Yeah. Yeah. Gotta actually talk to people. Blockbusters, haven't you? Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's good. Snap, girl. Yeah. She said, fuck social media. Send a check though. Should nurture. Run that.

SPEAKER_01

Since we're here, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Run that shit, run that shit. I like seeing the monthly deposits. Yes. It's me. Y'all need to start making me questions. For the hot team. Yes. Because instead of me picking my own. Moving forward.

SPEAKER_01

Where was the wildest place you've ever had sex?

SPEAKER_02

Fuck! Didn't I tell you that? I don't know. Well, it wasn't that shit from last episode. Actually. Me and oh, nigga, nigga trying to turn the mic off for that. I think the craziest place I would have to say was with baby's daddy in front of his mom's house in his car.

SPEAKER_03

Oh.

SPEAKER_02

Right in the hood. In the ghetto. Nice. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

In front of your mama's house.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah. She wanted that. Good karma for me.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. That has to be the craziest place.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, because like the only one, though.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, there was. I mean, God. All the way in the back. Okay. Car just to rockin'. Rockin'. You know that. Woo!

SPEAKER_01

Yes, mind your business if you see some shit like that. Let them do what they need to do.

SPEAKER_02

Mind your business. Yeah, right. You're going to jail. Even if it was, she knew it was how she's like. Oh no. Indecent activity. Put that lady up. Put that with the white lady up with the glasses.

SPEAKER_03

I told my five-year-old niece yesterday I was going to call the police on her. I want to call the police on her myself.

SPEAKER_01

Crazy.

SPEAKER_03

She said, I want to go in here. I said, Well, I'm going to call the police. Because you don't belong in there and nobody's home.

SPEAKER_02

She's reckless.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, she's wild.

SPEAKER_02

All right. That was a good one. That was a good one. No plus. This will be all staff. Woo!

SPEAKER_01

Give it to me. What do we got? Make it a good point. I'm spilling my secrets on this pod. Fuck.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What else do I got?

SPEAKER_02

I guess I Y'all know about all my relationship shit. If you can erase one entire demographic of people from the earth. Yo, she'd be giving you a wicked. Who would it be? A whole demographic. I know you go ahead. Answer. I'm wicking.

SPEAKER_01

Isn't this hot seat? I'm gonna say Caucasians.

unknown

Oh!

SPEAKER_04

No!

SPEAKER_01

And the only reason you said I said it that way is because you said to make it more speech more peaceful. Because them wiggers is wildin'.

SPEAKER_02

Them wiggers is wildin'!

SPEAKER_01

They're doing too much.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they're gonna be. That's true.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Because they hate it.

SPEAKER_02

Just give me my one. No.

SPEAKER_01

We gotta go.

SPEAKER_02

Damn. We ain't getting shit.

SPEAKER_01

If I could dance that, I really hate that because I've met some very kind white people in my life, but yeah, like my mama. Yes, but I guess you wouldn't be here if I did that, so it's a hard one, but based on peace. Yeah, yeah, I gotta go. Damn you! Yeah, hundreds of years. Don't get me wrong. People of color have been doing crazy shit for thousands of years. Yeah, yeah. So I'm not but for recent, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I mean recent, I'm not gonna lie, the watts have been doing a lot for a very long time. Very long time.

SPEAKER_01

And I say recent, last three, four centuries. Yeah, yeah. Five centuries, they've been doing too much, bro. Yeah, so that's true. Consistently. Yes, they gotta go. Damn some sort of like push a button. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Bro, be with it. You don't care. That's low key. That's why I love why like asking him these questions, because he's gonna fucking answer it. You gotta go. You're awesome. I hate that for myself.

SPEAKER_01

I was because I love yeah, fuck.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I know. I get it though. It is true. And you know, y'all know I love me. Some white boys, but I know I'm not gonna act like I don't know the histories. I just know they're not all like that. Agreed.

SPEAKER_01

Shout out to my waiters.

SPEAKER_02

Love ya. The good ones.

SPEAKER_01

The good ones.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Well, that's all I got for hot seat today. That was hot.

SPEAKER_01

That was hot as hell.

SPEAKER_02

Was it? Yeah. Okay. My question was good. See where this episode gets us together. Church racism. Yeah, right. This is for entertainment purposes only. This is for truthfully. God forbid we have to discuss things. Huh?

SPEAKER_01

Canceled. No. It is what it is. It's the truth. Y'all did too much. Gotta go. That's fucking wicked. Literally, and this probably might be the most racist thing I'll say on this pod. You can go back where you came from.

SPEAKER_02

I'm like, bitch, you don't even know where I came from. What's it like? Go back to the ghetto where you came from. Bitch. I slap the shit out of her. Crazy. She did. Yeah. I slap races. Anyway. That's good. You like that? Yeah, I love that. Anyway, back to the show. I would rather would you rather move on from the office? Y'all can start hating Hasi. Would you rather would you rather never go to the next segment?

SPEAKER_03

Did you say you were changing that shit?

SPEAKER_02

Golly. That was spicy.

SPEAKER_03

Would you rather? This is gonna be a rapid fire round.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, a love fucking rapid fire round.

SPEAKER_04

Good.

SPEAKER_02

Would you rather? A very confident and bold partner or quiet but extremely intentional? Quiet and intentional. Me too. Yeah. Always subtly flirting, or only get spicy in private. Damn! Spicy in private. But I like flirting. Butterflies every time you see them, or deep comfort, that still feels exciting. I need that comfort. Comfort. Yeah, I think comfort's good for me. Slow teasing chemistry or instant intense attraction.

SPEAKER_01

You gotta be good at like the tease though. Sometimes it could be cringe. You gotta be a Scorpio baby. Yeah, if you're really good at the T's, that's like, yeah, okay. Wait.

SPEAKER_02

I'm just get to it.

SPEAKER_01

Because when I get you, it's a rap.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. I like all that shit.

SPEAKER_03

Obsessed with your mind or obsessed with your energy?

SPEAKER_02

Fuck! And mind. Because then you'll understand my energy in every capacity.

SPEAKER_03

Emotionally expressive or physically affectionate.

SPEAKER_01

Affection.

SPEAKER_03

Affectionate.

SPEAKER_01

I need that. I need it to be rubbed on. Yeah, agreed.

SPEAKER_03

Slow burning connection that builds over time or fireworks from day one.

SPEAKER_02

Fireworks from day one. Give me that shit. Slow burn?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I need that.

SPEAKER_01

Slow burn.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I like that.

SPEAKER_02

Nah, I need to feel them sparks or I'm bored. No. Rub on my boobs.

SPEAKER_03

Goodness. There's some of that.

SPEAKER_02

A little mysterious or completely transparent? Transparent. I don't have time for that mysterious shit. Yeah. Because what you don't want? Stewart's or cold stone. Cold stone. Cold stone? Cold stone for sure. And no. Damn. I'm about to go there. We almost put a cold stone. Right. Nigga, I got because I was trying to go somewhere too.

SPEAKER_01

Cold stone is definitely the way.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah. Always. Now don't get me wrong. Yeah, Stewart's is the shit. Uncle Stewie's is always welcome. Uncle Stewie. Yeah. You know. Always welcome. Yeah. This nigga's a New Yorker now.

SPEAKER_04

Uncle Stewie is crazy.

SPEAKER_02

He was in the rocking chair when he sat down with the fucking cup of the spoon, nigga. With the sweet tea.

SPEAKER_03

And the mouthful. The fucking um.

SPEAKER_02

Never mind. The flannel. The red and black one. All right, come on. That's all I got. That's good. That was good. Yeah. Thank you.

SPEAKER_01

Very, very good. Thank you. I like the wrapper flowers more. Yeah, yeah. I got some more for you, too.

SPEAKER_03

You do?

SPEAKER_01

I sure do.

SPEAKER_03

I like that. Thank you. Let's go. Nice. Let's go.

SPEAKER_01

These girls want to get out of here, bro. Where's the cold stone at?

SPEAKER_02

I don't care about that. Side of some plaza?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, all the way down there.

SPEAKER_02

Damn, cold stone do sound good though.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, facts are debatable, ladies. I got some rapid fire questions. Let's get to it. Let's go. Porn creates unrealistic expectations.

SPEAKER_02

Porn? Facts.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, facts. Yeah. These are gonna be mixed with Oh yeah. Some people use truth as an excuse to speak without kindness.

SPEAKER_03

Facts.

SPEAKER_01

Facts. Yeah. Church attendance reveals discipline, not necessarily love, joy, peace, or kindness.

SPEAKER_02

Facts.

SPEAKER_01

Facts.

SPEAKER_02

Oh debatable. Fuck. I said that's a good thing. It's debatable.

SPEAKER_01

Tacos are superior to burgers.

SPEAKER_02

Facts.

SPEAKER_01

Big facts.

SPEAKER_02

The biggest fact there is.

SPEAKER_01

Do fuck with a hamburger.

SPEAKER_02

I love a good cheeseburger.

SPEAKER_01

Nigga, tacos got it. All day.

SPEAKER_02

I gotta have it. Better yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Leave us some comments. What do you think? Tacos are better than cheeseburgers or not?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, better say tacos. Better say tacos.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Hookup culture leaves a lot of people emotionally empty.

SPEAKER_02

Facts. Facts. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Flirting while in a relationship can still be disrespectful.

SPEAKER_02

Facts. Facts. You're emotionally cheating. Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

What if you're a flirt?

SPEAKER_02

Be single, bitch.

SPEAKER_01

Now because I'm flirt with me. Like now I'm being because I'm good at flirting.

SPEAKER_02

But if I do it. So make sure. Yeah. But make sure you can hold it down when you see me doing it.

SPEAKER_01

What I know is that, alright, so if I meet a person who's charismatic and who has that type of energy, I know that that's what they're like, right? We're at dinner, she flirts with the waiter. Right? We're at fucking the movies, she's really nice to the concession person.

unknown

Right?

SPEAKER_03

Is she being nice or is she flirting?

SPEAKER_01

Is there a difference?

SPEAKER_02

There is a difference. You heard what he just said? You heard what he just said? That's why you can't be nice to these niggas. Because they think you're flirting with them.

SPEAKER_01

So we're the line. Where's the line?

SPEAKER_02

I'm not sending you like sensual, sexy type of energy. Like that's flirty to me. Like me being kind is just who I am. Mm-hmm. And so I be making jokes with niggas and shit, so they probably be like, damn, she must like me. She wants to be a good one. She wants to get in my panties. You think yeah?

SPEAKER_01

I think a lot of men think that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Sometimes I am. Sometimes I am trying to laugh you right out them panty draws.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't say it. I'm just reading questions. Shut up. How many believers condemn sexual sin while openly practicing division, rage, and envy? Facts. Big facts. Last person last one. A person's comment section often exposes more fruit than their worship playlist.

SPEAKER_03

Debatable.

SPEAKER_01

The comment section exposes more of who they are or what's inside them than what they listen to on K-Love or Air One or at the church that they go to.

SPEAKER_02

Their comment section.

SPEAKER_01

I think that's a fact. I think what comes out of your mouth is what's in your heart.

SPEAKER_02

Their comment section, like what they're actually saying or what people are saying in their comments. That's where the confusion came in. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. Explain it to us, Ben Wow. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I think if you're what you say.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Especially hiding behind a computer, that's that's the shit that you really want to get off your chest.

SPEAKER_01

100%. 100%. Yeah. Pussy. Nobody can hold you accountable. Right. Right. And it's social media, so you get a pass.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Or you're making a fake account or whatever. You're hiding out of troll. You gotta troll, niggas. You cannot get in your feelings about what these people say on social media. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

People are so sensitive these days.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, pussies. Yeah. Like go outside and touch grass. Like fall off your bike. Yeah. Catch a cold. Go through. Catch a cold. Fucking break a toe. Something. Let your balls drop. Heard. Fall off your bike. Bush your ass while you're gonna get away. Let your tits drop. Like, I don't know. Scrape a knee. Like, I don't know, Sag. Build some fucking tough skin. Agreed.

SPEAKER_01

Agreed. Getting tired.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's all I have for facts are debatable today, ladies.

SPEAKER_03

That was good. It was good. Confused me on that last one.

SPEAKER_02

Had me looking facts are debatable.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. That was good stuff. I got my eye.

SPEAKER_02

I've had it for like two years. I know. See you rubbing vigorously. We're gonna make reels of Stefan rubbing his eyeball. Trying not to do it.

SPEAKER_03

Crying.

SPEAKER_02

Then me scratching my nose. Looking like I was sniffing coke.

SPEAKER_03

Heavens.

SPEAKER_02

Now that's what I need to do. Talk your shit.

SPEAKER_01

I hate getting stains on my shirts.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, when you just come out and say shit, it's hilarious.

SPEAKER_01

I hate it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Fresh white tea.

SPEAKER_02

We were just talking about mom and white shirts. Oh.

SPEAKER_01

The rage I feel when I look down and it's something on there.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. What do you think? I ain't even know. Let me get some of that.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Fucking hate it, bro.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Especially when I just got that shirt. You know, a white shirt really doesn't last probably too, too long. Yeah. We might get like a couple uses out of it. Yeah, like literally, maybe two. Maybe two.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So when on the first one and you get something, it's a shitshell.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Especially if you don't get the stain out right away, might as well just go buy another one.

SPEAKER_02

So I have so many white t-shirts. It's nuts.

SPEAKER_03

I hate when my kids wear my socks. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

I hate when my kids wear my socks.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

This nigga always got an issue with some. I literally, like, I'm gonna start taking pictures and showing y'all niggas. Because they run around with no crocs. No crocs. Yo, when I tell you there's a million pairs of crocs, slides, whatever. Sneakers, put your shoes on. Like people can come from their house off and have a pair of shoes. They wear my socks, they get them dirty. I'm putting them in the trash. Not washing those. They end up in the garbage every time. That's wicked. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

That's tough.

SPEAKER_02

Sorry you're going through that. Sorry.

SPEAKER_03

I'll just be buying more.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah. My Tokyo shit today. Let me sit up.

SPEAKER_03

Let me tell us.

SPEAKER_02

I'm talking my shit about myself. Okay. Because when I have disagreements or get my feelings hurt, I say very mean things. You still doing that? You still doing that? I am. And I would like to stop doing that. So I just had a recent disagreement with somebody, and I it's somebody that I care about. And I shouldn't have said what I said, even though he was being a dick. I it doesn't matter. Yeah, I said something that he didn't need to hear, regardless of the situation. And I'm publicly apologizing for that. And I am also going to apologize when we get done here. That's deep. Personally. Yeah. So because like at some point it's like you gotta stop apologizing and change your behavior. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, yes. Yeah. Yeah.

unknown

Yep.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't like it, I don't like it. I never like it. When I do it, I never feel good afterwards. And this isn't the first time I've said that. So now it's time for the changed behavior. It's genius. Talk shit about yourself.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I was gonna do that one day, and I said, you know what?

SPEAKER_04

Not today.

SPEAKER_03

Hell no.

SPEAKER_02

Talk shit about myself. Are you stupid? Today. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

But that that was way that was very big of you to thank you and say on live TV.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And I hope he forgives me. You never know what you're gonna hear in the pod. Yeah. No, for real. I didn't even know I was gonna say that. And if he doesn't, then that's it. No, that's totally fine. I respect it. It's fine. I respect it, but I am very sorry for what I said to you, honey. Oh, maybe not, honey, but I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_03

So, yeah. It was good, very good.

unknown

Thank you.

SPEAKER_01

I like that. I like that a lot. I might come and talk some shit about myself on the public.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, me too. Yeah, it's a good time. Yeah. Go ahead and do it. It's freeing. Mm-hmm. For sure. I've done it. Talking about yourself. That's probably why I didn't want to do it. Even though that's not why I just did the check. I was genuinely apologizing. But also, no. Oh, nothing. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. No. All right. Let's get some cool, calm, collected energy going.

SPEAKER_01

Let me get my positivity Ivy.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Need that.

SPEAKER_01

Very happy to be here.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you. Thank you for joining us every time. I love it. For our health portion. Good sex starts with good communication. If you can't talk about protection, boundaries, or testing, you're not ready for intimacy. Facts. That's pretty safe.

SPEAKER_01

Send the my chart immediately. Please.

SPEAKER_02

I I'm like, you need me to send it, I'll send it. This is a safe place. And how great of a feeling is that? Yeah. To be able to be like.

SPEAKER_01

Bro, like, what are you afraid of? Go get tested. Even if, alright. Even if somebody has a sexually transmitted disease on their my chart.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's information that you shouldn't judge the person for. Right. You don't know how they received that, what happened, what transpired.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's just information you need to process, and then you can decide as to whether or not you're gonna change with them.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

You know.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Nice.

SPEAKER_01

That's a problem. Go get tested, bro. Yeah. If you're putting dick in gross, go get your shit tested.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And vice versa.

SPEAKER_02

Scary out there, guys. And same with the women. Yeah. Because y'all be know y'all shit ain't smelling right, feeling right, and still be spreading them cheeks. The niggas, I don't understand it.

SPEAKER_01

Spreading cheeks is wicked.

SPEAKER_02

Well, spreading labias, whatever. They're spreading it. Take care of yourself. Be safe. Get tested. I show my chart.

SPEAKER_03

And be honest.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Didn't even say that. I'll send it right in.

SPEAKER_01

If you're not ready for intimacy, if you got questions, if you have even a thing, a thought, your shit's been itchy for a little bit. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

They're like, stop having sex.

SPEAKER_02

Go handle that.

SPEAKER_01

There's that. Fuck. Which goes back to the desire. It's there.

SPEAKER_02

But has to do control. But it feels so good to not be in that space with anyone, too. I mean, obviously I'm in a different space completely, but just knowing that nobody is getting anything that I have. Yeah. Because you're I I don't want to say you're not worthy, but like I haven't come across anyone who I feel is deserving even of my time, my energy, conversation, any of that. That's what I'm recently. So that's what I'm sure not doing anything else. That's good. Just because I'm in a mood. So yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Be safe. Get checked. Wealth portion.

SPEAKER_02

Learn to increase your income before obsessing over cutting every expense. The wealthiest people don't just work for money. They learn how to make money work through them, for them, and eventually without them.

SPEAKER_01

That's fire.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. That's a real bad. Yeah. We're learning.

SPEAKER_01

Making money is Positivity.

SPEAKER_02

Respect your body at every stage, not just when it looks the way you want it to. The glow-up starts when you stop making your worth dependent on your appearance and start honoring the body carrying you through life. Yeah. It's important.

SPEAKER_01

I maybe like last year, year before last, I had this thought about starting a segment called Body Philosophy. I was really understanding at that point in time, like calories, fasting, different things like that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I knew that I could go without food for a longer period of time than I was probably accustomed to. And I started like telling myself, okay, so if you eat these things, these things won't make you feel bloated and you can uh you'll be full or longer and all the things that I was kind of making a kind of framework for my mind as to what my nutrition was gonna look like.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And I think it's important to do that when it comes to the um this particular point because a lot of times we don't put too much emphasis or thoughts about that. We don't we just shove it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but that comes with discipline as well, and obviously, like it it can be tough, like especially when you're used to eating and you grew up eating a certain way, and then like now you're in adulthood and you're used to eating a certain way and things like that, but it's like when you really sit down and be like, listen, this shit is not good for me, I don't like the way it makes me feel, and things like that, and then you do try something else, you know. You some things you have to acquire that taste for it by consistently not just going to eat cheesecake and buy the asparagus, take it by it, yeah. You make your own, yeah. Yes, maybe make a habit of eating, right? I love asparagus, though. I love brussels. I like brussels, maybe cabbage. I love yeah, I love uh broccoli is cool, but I like a lot of vegetables. I like bean sprouts, I like all types of shit.

SPEAKER_01

I also think that going out to eat is also part of that problem too. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but you can the thing about that is being conscious. Like when I go to Cheesecake Factory, now I because I love pasta and they had like this pasta meal on there, I would get it all the time, and I'm like, bro, I gotta stop. So now I go to like they have a skinny licious menu and they have this meal on there, and it is amazing. It's like a spicy chicken meal, and and it's just so good. I love it. Yeah, but there are things on there that you can get if you do want to like enjoy a night out and eat, just be more conscious of what you're getting on your plate for sure.

SPEAKER_03

Um, but I love cooking at home anyways.

SPEAKER_01

But I also feel like a lot of people eat too fast, yeah. You eat quicker before quicker than your brain can process that it's full.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, and that's when you feel fucked up. You're supposed to take your time anyways, right?

SPEAKER_01

Digest it. I don't really take my time, you know. Ingest and then digest. You're supposed to do those two things, kind of. A lot of people kind of take that macaroni cheese and they bust that whole thing down or the wings to bust the whole plate down.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Then they're full beyond commascate, but it's hard to handle it. If you can't handle it, you're gonna throw it.

SPEAKER_02

That feeling is disgusting.

SPEAKER_01

I used to use that feeling when I was 400 pounds.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's crazy.

SPEAKER_01

I I used to find comfort in that yeah, that being full. Yes. Um I don't feel that way anymore, but yeah, I can understand it. But take your time when you're eating whatever you're eating, even if it is a high calorie meal, right? You if it's especially if it's a high calorie meal, if you take your time with it, you're gonna eat less of the calories, and you're probably gonna get fuller way quicker than because get me wrong, if we get a piece of fried chicken in front of you right now, probably gonna face it. Fucking that out. Right. For sure. Probably gonna do that, and that's what most people do. Yeah, you know, take two or three bites of chicken scarlet.

SPEAKER_02

And why am I gonna do that? Because I don't be eating it like that.

SPEAKER_03

Fried chicken. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

For sure, for sure. 100%. Yeah, that's good.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Oh, that's all I have for health, wealth, and positivity. That was great.
