It'll definitely be out tomorrow though. Uh yeah, if we're a little bit dry, which you know I always bring the energy. So if Ray's dry, I got us with the energy. I'll make sure it's not too dry. SPEAKER_04It's your favorite Asian. I've just been chilling, man. Parents are out of town. Got the whole house in myself. I could be wet whenever I want. Uh, but uh, I don't know, man. I've just been chilling, doing whatever. Like I'm still in school, but I'm dude. I chose my classes already, and I think I'm gonna be taking like five classes this semester. But fall? Huh?

SPEAKER_04Yeah. And yeah, man. Other than that, uh just been chilling, fishing, going to the gym, living the retirement life.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm gonna be taking summer classes, and I'm gonna also try to sign up for an internship uh this summer too. So cross my fingers. I'm also gonna try to apply for I'm gonna do this all this month, but I'm gonna try to apply for ODU too. So hopefully they're still accepting people because I'll be getting emails from the schools saying that they'll stop accepting people at a certain point, but I don't know if really that is that true. But I'll put in my application, we'll see what happens. Uh but yeah, man. Other than that, decent week so far. Just like you said, school, work, gym, chicken. Uh I just blanked out. But, anyways, today we'll be celebrating uh oh wait, never mind. No, it's not woman's history anyway. Finally, that month is over, bro. Whoa! But no, bro. April showers, new things, new things, and new things. So to start off the episode, we're gonna be talking about we're gonna be talking about the euphoria trailer. I'm gonna name this segment um quick tip bits. I just made that up from the top of my head, but we'll change the name. But this is a it's a working name. We'll just we'll just call it quickies, okay?

SPEAKER_00If you get the reference, you know, but we'll just call it quickies. Uh, first off, we'll start by talking about the Euphoria trailer. Quick burst go. What did you feel about the trailer?
SPEAKER_04Uh, I don't care about it. Sweeney sweet. Uh Sydney Sweeney's hot, but Jacobalordi's hotter.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Uh, yeah, I was about to say I agree, but no, I don't. But uh definitely uh I never seen Euphoria, so watching that trailer, it I don't know what I was I don't know what to expect at all. But will I check it out? Probably not, but we're just watching it to let y'all know. Yeah, because some people some people get their news from here, so to let y'all know, euphoria is coming out this month on HBO Max, so check it out.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I'm actually kind of shocked since they are it seems like she's gonna be like a big part in that new season, but yeah, I hear that busy man.
SPEAKER_00I hear that this is her last I hear this is her last season uh being in Euphoria, yeah. Uh by the trailer, they definitely looked like something was going to happen to her, so yeah. Hopefully, it's something good. Uh next thing we're gonna talk about is the super girl trailer, Woman of Tomorrow, right? No, I don't think it's woman of tomorrow. I don't know. It's super girl trailer.
SPEAKER_04Uh uh, it looks interesting. Um, I like Jason Mamore being recasted as Lobo, and uh uh I hope crypto doesn't die.
SPEAKER_00Pretty much the same thing there. I I'm not as excited for this movie as I was for Peacemaker or the Superman movie, but I'm gonna watch it. I like James Gunn. He's producing this movie, he's not directing it, but I still trust him. He's obviously working a lot on these DC projects, that's why they're taking so long to come out. So I'm excited uh to see my girl Supergirl. I actually like Supergirl more than Superman, but who knows? I don't know, she'll change my mind. She's not really convincing me in those trailers. But Lobo, like he said, Lobo looks great. I ain't gonna lie. That first sneak peek when we saw him, I was a little scurred because he didn't it just he just looked a little off, but seeing him in his full feel, him the way he was talking, and then at the end when he was swinging his chain, like that that that's why we love Lobo, man. I I hope something crazy and nasty happens, like Deadpool nasty, where he just like gets his head exploded or something. But yeah, Supergirl's supposed to be Supergirl's supposed to be coming out, I think in June or July. I actually should have written this down, but we'll let y'all know. Obviously, we're gonna watch the movie. At least I'm gonna watch the movie.
SPEAKER_04Another reason why summer you should be an AMC Stubbs A-lister, man.
SPEAKER_00Hop on that. The summer is gonna be packed, bro. Even now it's packed. But next thing we're gonna talk about is the Avatar, the last airbender live action. I'll go off first because I know you probably never seen the first season or you don't watch, you've never seen the cartoon. But yeah, for someone who's seen the cartoon and who has seen the first season, I would say the sets they look good. I I'm not gonna really be too scared. It's a Netflix live action, and their sets usually aren't the problem. It's usually the acting and what they do with the story. But from the first season, it was alright. One Piece is better. I'm not even trying to like be funny, like I'm being the One Piece live action was better, but the first season wasn't that bad. It was just the same issues, honestly, with the first season of One Piece, just rushed pacing, weird acting tidbits, and now that obviously, as we you can tell if you've seen the trailer, these actors are getting older. Hopefully the show uh will get I don't know if this makes sense, but we'll get older with uh the deliveries kind of like Stranger Things. No, no, no. I was gonna say with the characters, but I I was gonna say I don't know what I was trying to say, but just hopefully the show just gets better, like the acting gets better and everything overall the bending and everything, but yeah, you can go.
SPEAKER_04Uh I'm probably not gonna watch it, nor will I ever watch it. Um looks good though for a Netflix show.
SPEAKER_00Okay, yeah. I do like uh the actor they chose for tall. She looks like she will do a good job too, by the way. And uh yeah, also if you guys didn't know, they already finished filming because the actor for Aang is like aging rapidly, he's almost as tall as I think he's as taller, taller than Katara. They've already filmed the third season. Uh they might do some reshoots, but I'm pretty sure it's fully just they're just working on the stuff behind the scenes with it. But yeah, uh, that's coming out. I'm pretty sure it said June 25th, if I'm right. If I'm wrong, it's I know for a fact it's coming out in June. Sorry for that, but it's coming out in June. Um, next one we'll talk about is the back room trailer. You can start off with that one.
SPEAKER_04Uh produced by a twenty-four, which I'm a little hyped for because you know that I love a twenty four. Um I I don't care too much about the backrooms, even when it was like a whole trend for it. Uh, but it looks interesting, it looks like they're building upon the plot, but I don't know if it's something that I'm really excited for. I may watch it in theaters though.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but I pretty much feel the exact same. I don't know if I'm gonna watch it in theaters. It honestly just depends what I'm doing that month. Like, if I'm not doing anything, I might just check it out because why not? But if I'm doing things, I probably won't check it out. The trailer didn't look that bad. It's just like he said, I was never into the backrooms, never played the games, never was looking at the creepy pastas or whatever those things are called. But yeah, yeah, um still. Yeah, I've heard people who say they play the games though. I they've said it looks good and they actually want to watch it, but someone who's doesn't I've never played, I'm not a fan of the series, I'm not intrigued at all. But yeah, I might check it out. Who really knows? But, anyways, oh yeah, that's coming out I think in May, so next month. Uh, I don't remember the date, but next time I promise we'll have the dates for these. But yeah, it's coming out next month. Uh, if you want to check it out, if if you've never even heard of the back rooms and you like scary, creepy thrillers, why not check it out? And the last trailer we will be talking about is Masters of the Universe. Uh, it's based off of the He-Man series. Uh, I've never seen it, but I remember seeing like trailers and memes of it. Well, I remember seeing not trailers, I remember seeing clips of it on Adult Swim, and I remember seeing memes of it, like obviously on the internet. But yeah, definitely. Uh, when I'm from what I seen, I might check it out. I think that's is it coming out next month? I should have had this written down, but I think it's also coming out next month. Not a hundred percent sure. It's if it's not coming out next month, it has to be coming out in the summer. So, yeah, the dude was playing He-Man, I forgot his name. I'm sorry, but he looks good. He's in like a lot of Netflix rom-coms, but he looks good. Uh, the person for Skeletor, I think that's the villain's name. The voice is looks good. The Leto. What?

SPEAKER_00But um shoot, what was I just talking about? Okay, now I remember now. Uh the CGI or the because I know they used like I think they use like an actual practical masking or whatever, but with some CGI, of course, but it looks really well. Sorry, I keep bringing this up, but at the same time, not really sorry. I hope when they're doing the one piece live action and Brooke shows up, I hope they do something similar to that because it looks really, really, really good. And yeah, it kind of reminds me of. I don't know if any of you fans seen this, but kind of reminds me of the Dungeons and Dragons live action. Like that movie, I was didn't care to watch that movie at all. But I'm not trying to go on a tangent, but I ended up watching it with me and my homeboy. His name is Thomas, and yeah, that was the best nap I've had in a theater in years.

SPEAKER_04Uh, I thought it looked interesting. Um, I'm not gonna lie to you, I don't care about he, man. Like a shocker, right? I don't I don't care about a series. No, but I remember just seeing like an episode when I was a child, and I was like, uh I don't know, man. The show's kind of creepy. Uh but then I grew into it, and then I still don't care for it. But but yeah, it looks interesting. I'll be honest with you, I don't know why, but like when I was watching the trailer, I kept thinking about the Mario movie and how like I don't know why. It's just like the beat of the trailer reminded me of the Mario trailer for some reason, and I was like, eh, whatever. But yeah, looks interesting, characters look cool. Uh the girl from Riverdale is there, which I'm I don't want to say I'm excited for because I didn't like her in the Riverdale series, but yeah, yeah. Uh uh, I would check it out if my parents wanted to watch it.

God bless her, but it's now holds the it still holds the record for the longest scripted TV series on ABC. Once again, I don't watch Grey's Anatomy. I'm just giving y'all the news just in case if someone's like, oh man, I wonder if they're still making another season. I guess now you know they're making another season. It like, I guess, like who really cares? Uh, but anyways, now I'm playing. We we if you care about Grey's Anatomy, we care.

SPEAKER_00Yeah, uh, apparently they've been announced they're getting a second seat, second season, a second movie is coming out. These are based on a book series, by the way. So if y'all didn't know that, The Housemaid is the first book, and The Housemaid 2 is gonna be the next book. I I think that's kind of common sense. But just in case, if you didn't know that, you know. Uh, it will be released December 17th, 2027 in theaters with hopefully I'm saying her name right, with Kristen Dunsett. Or Duncet. What'd you say?

SPEAKER_04Realistically, I'd rather watch Housemaid because I don't want to sit in a theater full of people just screaming.

I've heard good things uh from this podcaster I watch, and also I've heard just good things from other people, but mainly the person I you know who inspired me, not who inspired not the person, but the people who inspired me to start this podcast, you know. I they were talking about it, and he said it was a good movie. He watched it with his girlfriend, and I said, Bet, I'm gonna watch it by myself. I'm gonna see how it feels. Uh, next thing next thing I wanted to talk about is I know you've seen this, weapons. You've seen that, right? Of course. Okay, yeah. I didn't know if you know this, but they're getting a prequel that it's gonna be free focusing on Aunt Gladys. I've never seen the movie. Is that how you say her name?

SPEAKER_00Yeah, uh it's in the works. The the project for right now is called Gladys. Is that what you said? Or Gladys? Uh so yeah, I don't know how do you feel about that? Because I know you've seen weapons, so or is this something you wanted or you just don't care?
SPEAKER_04Uh I I'll be honest with you. I like the way weapons ended and I like the ambiguity that came prior to it. But I I knew it was coming after Amy Winnigan literally won um the what is it? The was Oscars, right?

SPEAKER_04Yeah, after she won the Oscars, I just knew she was gonna she was gonna go for something. Um and I'll be okay. So this is a hot take.

SPEAKER_04I I think Aunt Gladys is a great antagonist for a film, right? But I don't care enough for her for people to put her in the same pedestal as like Pennywise, as in she's like a big bad like horror character, you know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I know.
SPEAKER_04Like I would say she's probably in the same area as like Pearl in the X trilogy. Um but I don't know if I would ever put her in the same category as a I guess a like a Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees type character, which that some people are putting her up as to be.
SPEAKER_00Okay, but yeah, I haven't seen it. Definitely it's on my list to watch. Uh but yeah, good movie knowledge too, you know. Shout out to the X series. I've never seen anything, but I've watched a recap video on like all the movies. I don't I was just bored dead meeting, yeah. Like there, it was like a year ago. I was just watching all his videos of him just recapping a whole bunch of movies, and I'm just like, man, these seem pretty interesting, but I'm low key too scared to watch these by myself. But like one of the movies VHS. I'm not gonna lie, I be getting nightmares when I watch scary movies by myself.
SPEAKER_04So I'll be straight up with you. If you're gonna watch any of the VHS series, I think you should only watch I think it was I think it was 94, the one with the rat, dude. That one is in my at least point of view, the best one.
SPEAKER_00I I've only heard I've only all the people and other people I heard talking about it. They said the first one, they said the first one was the first one's pretty good, too.

I didn't have, I thought I took a screenshot of this, but I guess I didn't. But Scream 8 got announced because Scream 7 did the best in the box office out of every single Scream movie. Point blank, period. Uh yeah. Goodly, I don't have my. I don't know if that's a word, but I'm gonna say it anyways. Goodly, I don't have my. Special guest Raymond here, uh, because I don't know. I I know he would just have a horrible take, but yeah, I really don't know why they're making an eighth one. Other than well, let me not act stupid. I know why they're making an eighth one because of the money. Uh, but yeah, I'm ex I'm only I'm not gonna lie, I'm gonna watch it. Like what? But I'm only interested in it because they are changing out the writer, it's a whole new face of writers. I can't remember. I like I said, I thought I had a screenshot of it, but I guess I didn't. But I can't remember who the two new writers are, but they're both females. They worked on a series, I think it was on Prime video, it was a mystery horror show that people say it's actually pretty good. Uh, I can't remember, it's either on Prime or Peacock. I it's one of the P's, but I know for I'm pretty sure it's on Prime. Um, but yeah, I definitely will check it out. I'm excited that we are getting new faces in this world. I'm excited, but I'm also a little scared too. Because new faces can mean it can it won't be perfect. That's all I gotta say. But I'm not expecting perfect because nothing is perfect, nobody is perfect. Shout out to you know who's saying that. Uh but but yeah, like I don't know what I'm gonna be real, I don't want another movie. I don't I've said this, we did not need after Scream uh five, because the sixth one I did not really like. I was like, I'm good, we don't need any more. I was not expecting them to even make a seventh one after what they did to the actors, but well, they didn't do anything to them, but anyways, yeah, it's just it's I don't know if it's devastating news, but it's devastating news to me. Like I it for me, it like truly, truly, truly deep down. It won't really hurt how I feel about the Scream Horror franchise. But I know some nerds are gonna be like, Well, this is why we say Ghostface isn't in the top uh horror franchises. This is why we say he's not one of the top Ooga Booga scary monster people, man. Cause they're just ruining this ruining uh this movie, and bro. I'm just mad, bro. I'm mad, bro. I'm mad that they're making another movie, bro. At least if they're gonna make another one, at least you know, call me up. I got ideas, bro. But I'll do it for the free skis. Just put my name in the credits. But yeah, just whatever. Next one we gotta talk about. I this is the last one I have. Um, uh, because I just found out about this news. Uh, Mike Coltaire and Finn Jones, aka Luke Cage, and Iron Fist will be returning spec uh what's the word? Spectulately. What's the word? Oh my god. I'm blinking out. I know the word. What'd you say?

But yeah, they're speculating because we've seen screenshots of them with Jessica Jones on set of season three. So I don't know why else they would be there. I I don't know, just having lunch. But yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I don't know if you've ever seen the Defenders, but yeah, they're bringing back. I don't know if you've ever seen Luke Cage. No, but you talked about it. You've seen Iron Fist, right?
SPEAKER_04Our man, the best Netflix show, because the only one I watched.
SPEAKER_00Facts. Uh yeah, I'm excited. I the first season of Luke Cage is actually pretty good, but that's the only one I watched. But, anyways, I'm actually pretty excited to see Luke Cage and my boy Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil back on the big stage. Like Daredevil's shout out to I can't believe I'm about to say this. Shout out to Disney, shout out to Kegan Kevin Feige and Marvel for they're able to do this because so many fans of the Daredevil series and of the other series wanted these characters back. They felt like they needed a second chance, and also the the actor for Iron Fist, like I think it was back when they first announced Jessica Jones will be returning in Daredevil season two. He was like begging. I know this sounded kind of sounds crazy, but let me not say he was begging, but from what I can remember, because I don't remember everything, he was saying he would love to reprise his role of Iron Fist and do it better justice compared to what happened on Netflix, pretty much. And I hope that's true because he was pretty good in there, his stunts were pretty nice. I'm trying to see him do the the punchy punchies like on Marvel Rivals. I'm trying to see him, I'm trying to see I'm trying to see him do some kung fu magic, man. Maybe who knows? He'll be better than Shang Chi, right? Yeah, I know. Uh, but yeah, I'm I'm happy for the actors, I'm happy for the fans, I guess, and I'm happy for myself, most importantly. So, yeah, I don't know if you have anything to say about this, but if you do, you can just drop some knowledge.
SPEAKER_04Shang Chi is the best uh Netflix show, and I can't wait for the flash to to be there too. Uh no, I'm gonna I'm more excited that they're getting a second chance into reprising the role. So yeah, I want to see how how they do in a bigger budget, more definitely bro. Wanted to reprice his role because he wanted the money, definitely, bro.
SPEAKER_00Because the Netflix budget, bro, like they did their thing with Daredevil and Jessica Jones, and even a little bit with Luke Cage, because it's not like too many powers, but with Iron Fist, bro, they put a literal, they put a glow light in his fist, bro. SPEAKER_04Uh rewatched Ready or Not to get ready to watch Ready or Not 2, but then scheduling happened. I didn't get to watch uh Ready or Not 2, and I'm probably just gonna wait until streaming now because I don't want to go in the theater by myself. That's in like a theater fully by myself. Give it its respect. And yeah, we're also gonna talk about some more underrated hidden gems next episode. If y'all didn't know, the country roll awards uh nominees have been announced. So that's gonna be our big topic of next episode. Um, but yeah, uh I'm excited for the last and final core. Uh we're going to the moon, guys. Don't ask me how kids are about to build a spaceship, but we're going to the moon.

I could say it's just from this season alone, from like at least like this simulcast of animes that came out this year, dude. I gotta say, I I might have to put it behind JJK right now. That's how good the animation is right now. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04Yeah, dude. Story, story-wise, it's pretty generic. It's about uh people who committed like really bad atrocities, and let's say like you killed the king or something, you get to be sent sentenced as a hero. Uh, as in like you're you're you're pretty much a slave to what the holy royal knights like they want to do. Yeah, pretty much. Um, and I gotta say, it's actually really interesting. Characters, they're not quite bland.
SPEAKER_00Is it at least better than solo leveling?
SPEAKER_04Oh, for sure, it's better than solo leveling. Yeah, it's a lot better than solo leveling. I need that. Um, but no, yeah, dude. I mainly got inspir or the reason why I watched it was because Moist Critical was talking about it, saying like it's so underrated, and it was like one of the better animes, not even not better, but like some of the best anime he's watched recently. And I was just like, hey, you know what, dude, I'm hooked. Let me let me give it a shot. And it it paid off, man. It paid off.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Definitely. I don't know if I'd use the word underrated for that one, but it is definitely not as big as I would say the other ones. But yeah, I'm definitely gonna check that out. It's on my list, it's extremely low on my list because I have a fat list, but definitely I'm gonna check that out. My next thing, wait, let me make sure. Uh, yeah, my next thing I'll talk about is the Super Mario Galaxy uh movie. I watched it with my brother. I'm gonna be real. I feel like most of the hate are just like, I mean, obviously, don't look at the tomato meter because the tomato meter for the first one was also bad too. Uh, but a lot of people said they liked the first one. This one, I'm gonna be real. I thought it was the same level as the first one. A lot of people are saying the story is bland and basic, and I'm like, I guess y'all, I didn't know. Y'all must have just been nostalgia-bated or something. I don't know. When y'all were watching the first one, I felt like story-wise, they're on the same level. The first one may be a little bit better, but I feel like they're on the same level. Now, definitely was this one more packed with more things, so you can say it was rushed story-wise, like we barely saw Rosalina. Yoshi was cool, I ain't gonna lie. I actually really like Yoshi.

SPEAKER_00And childish game being, I still don't believe he actually is voicing that thing without any enhanced enhancers on his voice. Like, I don't know. He said he should get an Oscar for it, and he said he should get an award for it, but I don't know. If he is doing that without any enhancers, yeah, give him something. I don't know, at least a hug. But if he if he isn't, I mean, still give him something, but yeah, that dude, he was killing it with the voice acting. I loved all the cool abilities we saw, all the cool Easter eggs we saw. I loved it, especially this was kind of in the trailers, but not really, they didn't spoil too much. But especially the ending fight, I'll say that was really good, and they made a little joke. I don't think a lot of people noticed the joke, but they made a Mario Maker joke because that game is low-key kind of trash. But they made a Mario Maker joke in the movie. But yeah, I loved Bowser Jr. Uh honestly. I'm just gonna say it hot take, I don't care, but I like this movie more than the first one because I liked Bowser Jr. I just liked his villainousness, his naiveness, his just really trying to make his dad get back to his roots. And there are just there's so much Easter eggs, the last two end credits, were they worth staying there? No, just watch someone talk about it online, brother. I'm just gonna be real. But if you want to watch it, I definitely would say it was nice. Once again, like I said, I understand people right now on the internet are downplaying and not downplaying, but are really hating on this movie. But it's not that bad, in my opinion. If you are a Mario fan, you will definitely enjoy it. And if you especially if you're for their target demographic, which are kids, you will enjoy it. I was in the movie theater, kids were screaming, you know what I'm saying, while watching that movie, and so they weren't actually as bad as another movie I watched, but they were still screaming. Uh, but like I said, good movie. Definitely I would recommend to watch uh if you have like I don't know, a little cousin or something. But yeah, that's it for me.

Um, dude, I finally finished, I know I'm like two years late, but finally finished Box Mock in uh season three. And I can't wait for them to renew season four for it, so I'm excited for that. But the one I really want to talk about is uh the new series, Mighty Nine, dude. The I've only watched the first episode so far, and I remember watching the campaign that they had for it, and I was like, you know what? This would be cool. I like all the characters, and dude, it's the first episode's paying off so far. It's fun, it is very fun. Um so yeah, I'm gonna probably talk about it again next week, uh during our next episode. But yeah, dude, love that. Love that show so far.

I don't watch both episodes, I only watched episode two. I was supposed to watch it today, but I ended up doing something else. I'll tell y'all about that later. Uh, but yeah, episode two was good. Like I said, I still need more from this season. That's all I'm gonna say. I'm keeping it short because I didn't watch episode three, but yeah. Uh the next thing I want to talk about, sorry, uh the movie I actually watched today because this is why I didn't watch the third episode was the drama. I ain't gonna lie to y'all. Uh I wasn't gonna watch this movie, but I came from work, and after I came from work, uh I went to Target and I bought uh some games for game night, and I also bought um some things to make a smoothie with, and then I was like, dang, what should I do? Should I go home, make a smoothie? By the way, I just came from work, so I didn't even eat anything. So I was like, should I make a smoothie and then go watch this movie? Or should I just chill at home? And then as soon as I got home, I was like, F it, I'm just gonna go watch this movie. So I put in my tickets to go watch the movie. I made some breakfast. I didn't even make a smoothie. I literally made some pancake, I made a pancake and some eggs. Well, a egg, we only had one egg, but yeah, I made that and went to go watch the movie. Sorry if y'all don't really care about that, but but uh but yeah, that really had nothing to do with the movie, but anyways, good movie, it was a good movie. I'm not gonna lie. Like I said, I had no expectations, I really didn't care to watch this movie. When Ray talked about it last uh episode, that he was excited. I was like, uh, I don't that's why I didn't talk about it on my list because I wasn't excited to watch it. I wasn't even planning on watching it, but I'm glad I did watch it because this is another one of those send help moments where if you haven't seen Send Help, I keep saying it. So far, my movie of the year tied with Project Hail Mary, but it got a new contender. The drama is tied with those three movies for my movie of the year so far. Um, I would still say I'm this might shock some people, but send help in the drama or like teeter-tottering taking over Project Hail Mary uh might be recency bias with the drama movie, but I don't think it is. The acting is done well. Uh, I'm not gonna lie, when I watch comedy movies, it's really hard for me to laugh. But a lot of people were laughing while watching the movie, and there was this girl named Rachel and her husband, they were probably, I would say, the funniest people in the movie. But also that girl Rachel, if y'all have seen the movie, I literally despise her. I'm not gonna spoil anything because I know Ray wants to see it, man, but I literally despise that character. Um, but yeah, yeah. The trailers, if you haven't seen any one of the trailers, there's honestly no point. They don't really tell you too much. Go watch the movie nine out of ten on the Brown rating. Um in yeah, Zendaya uh Robert, because I'm just gonna say their first name. Uh great acting, great roles. And if you've seen the movie, you'll know what I mean when I'm about to say this. They were wrong for what they did to Zendaya. That's all I gotta say. Check out the movie, the drama in theaters now.

I'm gonna talk about what maybe one of the most underrated just drama like drama movies of all time. Dude, The Iron Claw. I watched that movie last time. It's pretty underrated. I when was the last time I heard anybody talk about it?
SPEAKER_00I mean, not recently, but when it came out, I was hearing people talk about it.
SPEAKER_04Dude, it wasn't even nominated. Yeah, it's on Netflix now, but it wasn't nominated for anything. Like anything. It only won like smaller accolades that were in smaller like award gives and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_00That's true, but I don't think we're not talking about this. I already sit on the Oscripts, so never mind.
SPEAKER_04I'm saying it, man. I genuinely think um the Iron Claw should have at least been nominated, like minimum nominated for uh best acting with Zach Efron. Dude, he killed it, he killed it playing as uh Kevin Von Eric and uh Jeremy Allen White too, playing as um Kiri. Bro, if you've never watched a movie, it's pretty much about uh the life of Kevin Von Eric, and where unfortunately his family was not quite cursed, but it's it's a very, very sad movie, and it's heavy. Uh if you have um mental health issues or problems with um I'll say the word suicide, uh, I wouldn't recommend the movie to you because it it it does deal a lot with that movie. And I don't want to spoil anything, but it is a tragic movie, and I after that m or after watching that movie, I watched interviews, I've watched podcasts, and I've watched everything that Kevin Bon Eric has done post movie release, and he added so much context into what the movie like movies foundation had, and it made the movie even more depressing as it already was. And yeah, but I genuinely do think Zach Efron that was probably.

SPEAKER_04I'm standing on two toes and I'm being as genuinely honest as I can, dude. That was the best acting Zach Efron has ever produced in a in a film.

SPEAKER_04It's definitely the movie it does surround itself with uh wrestling, but wrestling isn't the main point of view. Like, although it it's it is their life and it is the thing that made them who they are, it's more about fan uh family dynamics and overall just love for your siblings and the want to satisfy your parents' wants from you. It's that drive, that was the reason why that movie to me hit so hard. Uh, and I gotta say it, man. I genuinely do think it's a movie that deserves more praise than it it it initially got. Okay.

But yeah, definitely it's on my list to check out. I don't know about y'all, but that made me want to check out the movie even more. Um, my last movie I want to talk about because this movie, this movie is an underrated movie that deserves its flowers. They will kill you. I talked about it already when I said movies. I'm going to check out this month earlier. I only ever seen the first trailer about it, and I was instantly hooked. Um while going into the movie theater, I would definitely say I wish it was in IMAX, or I wish our theater had it in IMAX. I don't know if it would just if it just wasn't in IMAX, but I wish this movie was in IMAX. The the I heard after I watched the movie, I watched one person review because I watched one movie reviewer. Uh and he said it really reminded him the camera work skills and the directing reminded him of Quentin, Quentin Tarantino, uh in one of his movies, Kill Bill. If you haven't seen it, um but yeah, I never seen Kill Bill either, by the way. But definitely after watching that movie and hearing that, I've seen Quentin, I've seen plenty of Quentin Tarantino movies, but I just haven't seen Kill Bill. But after hearing that, I definitely will check it out even more. And the only thing I've seen from I know I keep going all around the place, but the only thing I've seen from Kill Bill is that Fortnite video.
SPEAKER_04I'll be straight up with you when you said when you had to like stop yourself for a second. I thought you were about to bring up One Piece again.
SPEAKER_00No, no, no, no. Oh no, yeah. Uh yeah, great movie, great acting. I should have wrote her name down, but the black lead role in the film, the black female lead role in the film, does an amazing job with her acting, with her actions, um, stunts. If she did all of them, if she didn't, then to the stunt actor did an amazing job. Uh, I know she was in um I think it's called Bullet Train, that one movie with oh my god, I can't remember his name either.

SPEAKER_00But what'd you say, yeah? Brad Pitt. Yeah, I'm pretty sure she was in that movie, and she also was in the show, if you've seen it, Atlanta, which is also another amazing show. Um, she that's also what it reminded me of of a mix of Bullet Train and that movie, the way of Kill Billy, even though I haven't seen it, but with the comedy and the action they used uh in the film, it definitely made it a better movie uh experience for me. Um so far going in movie theaters, yeah, definitely probably one of the best experiences I've ever had. People were laughing, people were cheering. The practical effects with the blood and everything she was doing. It was an amazingly shot movie, and that's why I'm saying I wish it was in IMAX because the normal I'm not gonna say the normal camera work did not do his justice. He did his justice, but it he would have been able to do way more incredible things if it was in IMAX. Uh shout out to that director. I cannot remember his name either, but this is like one of his first, I think this is one of his first American films. Uh once again, don't quote me on this, but you can quote me if you want. I think he was a Russian director or something like that, but I know this is one of his first um American shot films, I guess you can say, and he definitely will get more jobs in the in the action genre, in the horror genre, whatever you want to say. Please watch the movie. It's about this girl who pretty much ends up working for these these people who are it's like a cult, and she pretty much is just trying to save her sister because not gonna spoil, but just because. So, yeah, and also sorry, I'll end it off here. The way they get into the movie, it it's so quick and seamlessly, seamlessly, it's so it's just quick and seamless. There's no very much um I can't use the word lazy, but I guess I I'll use the word slow pacing. There's not much of a slow pacing to where they're like uh trying to make this thing feel like it longer than what it already is. The movie already feels long, but with the pacing they did, I'm not saying that they didn't make you care for the characters because of the pacing, in my opinion, they did, but the way they just get straight into the the movie with her being at the place, it's it's such a great movie, and that's why I'm that's why I had to talk about it last. Because I really wanted people to check out this movie, give this actor and the director and the people who worked on this movie their flowers, they will kill you. If you watch that movie with a group of friends, I know you'll be laughing. So, yeah, check it out whenever you can. That's my last one. If you have anything else you watched, I got two more, man.

I don't really want to call it small, but it's definitely like a mid I don't even want to call it mid-tier, so it's actually pretty good. It's a movie called uh Totally Killer. Um it's Star. Yeah, I forgot who stars in it, but I remember Olivia Holt being in the movie. Um I remember I was like, oh shit, dude, that's Olivia Holt. I remember I watched this movie about like two years ago when I went on my cabin trip. But the thing is, like, we were drinking in that trip, and let's be honest, I wasn't paying attention. So I decided to just rewind it. It's a silly but like pretty cool concept for a movie. It's this girl's mom gets killed, and um she winds up going in like there's a murder on the loose pretty much, and then she gets chased into this photo booth that's actually a time machine. And then she goes back. Yeah, she she go yeah, she goes back in time, hangs out with her mom when she was her age, and pretty much just does her best to save the people that were murdered. And I don't like it was it was I don't want to say it was funny, but it definitely had its moments, had its moments, it was pretty good though. I'd recommend watching it.
