Welcome to Friday is my Monday with Audra O'Neal. How's everybody doing today? Getting ready for the 4th of July. So, guys, today what we're gonna talk about is how people get really overwhelmed when it's like, oh my gosh, I'm gonna move. And they just don't know where to start. They don't know how to embrace the process. So I came up with this system a long time ago, but I thought I'd share it with you guys. It's called Audra's Sticky System. And honestly, it started because I was helping senior citizens get their homes ready to sell. And I realized very quickly that they were just like, Where do I start? So you're walking around, you know, you have this house full of memories, furniture, dishes, closets, lamps, chairs, all these family treasures that you walk past every day for decades, and you don't know what you're gonna do with it all. And then someone says, Okay, let's get the house ready, move all this stuff out, and you're like, huh? So here we go. This is what I created. So what I do now, and I do this for everybody now, this is not just a senior citizen thing. I have a pack of stickies. It is a pack of stickies with four different colors. And each one of these stickies has its own job. The pink sticky means trash or donate. If it has a pink sticky on it, we already know the decision has been made and it's gone. Done. Boom. That's your pink sticky. Your green sticky means that this is going with me no matter what. Like it is going with me. I love it. I need it, it belongs with me, and it's going in my next chapter with me. Okay, that's your green one. Then we have blue. Blue means that this is going to a family member, or it's gonna be in an estate sale, or you're we're gonna help you sell it through one of our channels because we help you do all of those things. You are not on your own with us. It may have value, but it's not going with you. Then there's yellow. And yellow is, you know what? I don't know. I need to walk by this lamp or chair another hundred times before I decide. And you know what? That's okay. Not every decision has to be made on the very first day. You just have to start, okay? Sometimes you need time, but when you finally decide, that yellow sticky changes colors. So I gave this system to another client recently. And when I walked in to prep for the appointment, the house was covered in stickies, and I was like, oh my gosh. And it's so crazy how many people embrace this and do it, and they're like, okay, what does it mean? And I leave them like a little chart of how to use the different stickies. Um, because this system takes something that feels huge and emotional, and it turns it into small, manageable decisions, and anyone can use it. You don't have to be selling your house, you can just be reorganizing or decluttering um anytime. So you can use this just to get your house under control. Because sometimes the hardest part is not the stuff, it's knowing where to start. And that's where my sticky system comes in. So if you want to steal it, use it, whatever it is. Um, that's my story.
