It was a thrilling weekend at Watkins Glen, where Kaden Honeycutt won his first Truck series race in a series of checkered flags collected by him in just over 24 hours. Connor Zilisch also talks about his last lap, last corner pass on Jesse Love for the win on Saturday.

SPEAKER_03Caden Honeycutt had probably one of the most impressive 30 hours of his life as a race car driver. He won the ARCA race at Watkins Glen, went on to win his first career truck race at Watkins Glen, then the next day went and won both cars tour races at a speedway. Caden Honeycut after the truck race talked about what was going on in his mind after getting that first career win.
SPEAKER_01I'm just so grateful, man. Just thank you to Tricon. Thank you to the whole Safe Flight Crew 11 team. Man, our truck was so good. We got up to the top 10, was passing a lot of people, and was thankfully got some restarts and cautions to help us out. And uh I knew we had a top two truck. I just needed to get it back to where it was supposed to be at. So um, but yeah, just a great job by my guys. I can't tell you how much I appreciate them and for how hard they worked to uh to put amazing trucks like this on the racetrack.
SPEAKER_03The end of Saturday's race at Watkins Glen was also very thrilling. Connor Zilich passed Jesse Love on the last corner to win once again at Watkins Glen. Here's what he had to say after the race.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean, I wasn't gonna do anything egregious to move him out of the way. I I just wanted to show a nose and and try and um force him into making a mistake. Um, you know, I I wasn't I didn't want to win that way. I I really could have. I think anybody could have done that, but you know, I I made a mistake that took me out of contention for a little bit there, and um, you know, I wasn't gonna put him at cost because of it. I'll do anything to win, but um, you know, I'm not just gonna ship the guy in the last corner to do it. So yeah, I showed a nose and and it was enough for him to lock his right front and and you know, wash up and um got us the win.
