Ross Chastain sits down with Andrew Kurland and Brad Gillie to look back at his major win in the Coke 600 at Charlotte last season. NASCAR returns to CMS this Sunday for the Coca-Cola 600. You can listen to it live on PRN!
One year ago, it was a major win for Ross Jacksane in the Coca-Cola 600. He had to beat William Byron and Denny Hamlin to do it. So now, almost 365 days later, Ross relives the memory. For PRN's Garage Pass, this is Andrew Curly.

SPEAKER_03Ross Chastain was the leader for only 12 of 600 miles in last year's Coke 600. He came from the back in a backup car after crashing in practice the day before. Ross now relives the memory as we come up on Coke 600 weekend once again.
SPEAKER_02Blowing that tire in practice. I remember getting on track on lap on my outlap off pit road, feeling the way the car felt, and knowing that it was good right away. It proved good. And then the tire blew, and that noise of the air leaving the tire, the car hitting the ground, and then sliding, hitting the wall, like that's all like it just happened this morning. Then it's kind of there's not a lot. I mean, I I have memories, but then in the race, the final pit stop, rolling off pit road, I got the feeling back I had in practice, and the car rotated and the rear was stuck in the track, and I was on the throttle a lot, and I ran down the 11 and 24. The 11 didn't have to pit, so I only had the 24 and uh was able to beat Will, which as a being a one of the few friends I do have on the track, um meant even more that we beat him. Um made it special to beat that car. That car was the car I liked as a kid. I was a 24 fan. Um so we've got to race a couple times and we beat him a few times.
SPEAKER_03The big question is can Ross go back to back? We'll have to find out. Pierre's Garage Pass, this is Andrew Curland.
