SPEAKER_01So if you didn't know, Bubba Wallace is pretty talented on the drums. There are some viral videos of him and Ryan Blaney doing rock songs. When we asked Bubba before the season, hey, are you musically inclined? He said yes. But now I play a different instrument. Take a listen. I bet it'll surprise you.
SPEAKER_03We know you play an instrument. So tell us about um your drumming, all the things you're doing. I'm just gonna talk about piano. So so what the heck do you play on piano? So I may have not searched up metal songs on piano. Playing that on the piano stuff. Yeah. What what what are you playing? Uh well, the easiest one right now is the Lincoln Park in the end. Okay. That one's that's what I'm saying. That's got a piano. Yes. And then my hand my warm-up, my warm-up that I use for my right hand is the Halloween theme song.
SPEAKER_01I've had my friend show me piano once. It is incredibly like, it's like, you know, rubbing your belly and tapping your head at the same time. How do you focus on two different tasks?
SPEAKER_03I struggle with telling, like patting your head and rubbing your belly. Like I struggle telling myself to do that, like and do it freely. So like my right hand and left hand, like they want to be in unison. And so telling them to do something else, it's like I get hand cramped super easy. I'm like, like, relax and let it happen. So that's been actually nice to work on that. So like I'm I'm shifting my focus from right hand to left hand, and like, and I'm I miss keys all the time, but it's it's getting practice. So like I'll I'll know what to play, and I can't play it for a lick, I'll go to bed and play it in my head at night and come back and it's like, uh, that's what I was supposed to do.
SPEAKER_01Thanks for listening for PRN's Garage Pass. This is Andrew Curland.
