Ryan Blaney captured his first victory of the year last season at Nashville Super Speedway. And we asked the Pinski driver what he remembers most about going to Victory Lane.

It was our first win of the year last year. And yeah, I mean I have a lot of friends who live in the area, so it was great to see them. The kid and me enjoyed uh I don't know if any of y'all know Papa Roach is. Yeah. Papa Roach was in Victory Lane with me, and I got to meet him. He gave me the guitar. And uh he's a cool guy. I liked I like his music as a kid and a super nice guy. Uh so that was pretty cool in Victory Lane. Um, and then the rocking chair. I got rocking chairs from that from Cracker Girl. Uh so that was cool. They're on my front porch. They are our sitting chairs uh when my wife and I sit on the front porch. So um, yeah, a lot of a lot of cool things, kind of um little gifts that I got. But being Papa Roach is pretty cool.

Brad Gillian and Andrew Curlin also asked Ryan, can you play that guitar that you received from Papa Roach?

I think I tried to learn how to play guitar during COVID, trying to find something to do, and I lasted for like two weeks and I just gave up. It was hard. Super difficult to do. If we're forming our band, could you sing? I mean, define sing. Yeah, I can't do that anymore. That was been a long time. But I could yeah, that'd be the only good thing I'd be able to do. I could hit the gong or something. Like cowbell. More cowbell. Um triangle. Yeah, any anything with one hit. But yeah, I could I could be the cowboy guy, and I could maybe be your singer.
