Richard Childress took a moment in Michigan this past weekend to remember his driver and friend, Kyle Bush. Here's what Richard had to say.

You know, Kyle, we'll go down in history, is one of the greatest race drivers that it's ever been. You know, he's definitely in the Hall of Fame. I'd love to see him put him in it right away. He helped RCR when we needed. He came right in and we won three races the first part of the year. Got a little off, and uh we had a lot of opportunities to win other races, and we just didn't finish and capitalize on them. But I think his legacy is gonna be that he was a man that, you know, a lot of people thought he was tough to deal with and that we wouldn't last long. But he he is a man that loves his sport. He loved it so much he wanted to see his family carry on and to watch what he had going on with Brexton. And I would go to the race over at Millbridge and watch them race together and just see the enjoyment in Kyle's eye watching his son race was just unbelievable. His legacy will be in history. He'll go down as one of the greatest drivers of all times. He's won over 200 races, and uh just all of us are gonna miss him. You guys and ladies are gonna miss having him in here after a win.

Richard also said in this that there's no pressure on Braxton, but that number eight, with that specific style that Kyle himself designed, will be waiting for him whenever he's ready. For PRN's Garage Pass, this is Andrew Kerlin.
