Carson Kvapil is finally a NASCAR winner! He and team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr speak to his big win at Indianapolis. Andrew Kurland reports.

I don't even know what to say. If you had told me five years ago, whenever I was running my dad's late model, and um I guess you could say I was pretty much at the end of the line for my career that I'd be winning in Indianapolis in a in a NASCAR race. I I'd be mind blown. So I don't I don't know if I'm gonna be able to get through all my text messages tonight of thanking people, but um just so cool. I'm I'm fighting back tears right now because of all the all the hard work that I've that I've done, me and my dad, and and everybody that's helped me get to this point. It's it's awesome to finally see it pay off and finally get one of these things.

The emotions were flowing throughout the entire crew, especially for team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr., who tried to hold back tears in his television interview. And for Dale, Carson is more than just his driver, he's his family.
