Welcome to Episode 20 of the Less Stress, More Magic Podcast ✨
I’m your host, Erin Wallen, and I’m so glad you’re here.
In this inspiring conversation, I sit down with health coach, intuitive eating coach, and longtime client Ellie Morris to explore the powerful connection between nervous system regulation, trust, alignment, and sustainable transformation.
Ellie shares her journey from constantly striving and seeking the "perfect plan" to embracing what she calls her Energy Experiment—a season of prioritizing joy, trust, and alignment over hustle and control. Together, we discuss how nervous system regulation creates the foundation for lasting change in every area of life, from business and motherhood to emotional eating and weight loss.
If you've ever felt stuck chasing results, wondering why success doesn't feel as fulfilling as you expected, or struggling to trust yourself, this episode is for you.
In This Episode, We Explore:
✨ Why nervous system regulation became a life-changing practice for Ellie
✨ The shift from "Do I have to regulate forever?" to "Regulation is everything"
✨ How control can keep us disconnected from trust and alignment
✨ The surprising lessons behind Ellie's "Energy Experiment"
✨ Why joy and fulfillment don't have to wait until you reach your goals
✨ The connection between stress, emotional eating, and weight loss
✨ Practical tools for creating pauses and building self-awareness around food
✨ How small daily deposits create massive long-term transformation
✨ Why sustainable change is more like compound interest than a quick fix
Why This Matters
Many women have been taught that the answer is more discipline, more willpower, or a better plan. But often the missing piece isn't another strategy—it's creating enough safety within your nervous system to hear your own wisdom.
When we learn to regulate stress, trust ourselves, and respond to our needs with curiosity instead of judgment, lasting change becomes possible. Whether your goal is improved health, weight loss, greater fulfillment, or simply feeling more at ease in your life, regulation creates the foundation for it all.

Like I would love for someone to just tell me, do X, Y, Z, and you will get from point A to point B. And I'm also, I was an applied math major. Like, I love efficiency. And it's very counterintuitive to me that effici the most efficient path forward is so uncomfortable. And so prioritizing, you know, this summer we've called it my energy experiment. And I'm really enjoying this kind of container of what does it look like to make joy and fund the strategy. So I will say I'm very uncomfortable with that thought, but so far it is working. My business is working.
SPEAKER_00Welcome to the Less Stress, More Magic podcast. I'm your host, Erin Wallen, stress freedom coach, intuitive strategist, and former clinical pharmacist. This show is for busy, capable women with big goals who are ready to stop living with so much stress and are ready for a more ease-based, effective way of living and working. Here, we explore how stress is a survival response, not a success strategy, and how regulating your nervous system leads to more clarity, better decisions, and everyday magic. I can't wait to share with you. Let's dive in. Well, welcome back to the Less Stress, More Magic podcasts. I am so excited to have another really special guest here today. Um, this is my friend and client, Ellie Morris, and thank you so much for being here with me. Yeah, I'm so excited to be here. I'm glad it's working. We're gonna have such a good conversation. We're gonna try to keep to this to about 30 minutes, but truthfully, I feel like we could be here for hours and just talking about all the fun things and all the amazing things she does in the world. Um, I'm gonna read her bio to start, just so you know a little bit more about her, and then you're gonna hear just about her journey and more about her directly from her later on in the show. So Allie Morris is a health coach and mom of three. Her professional career took her from studying applied math at Columbia University to working on Wall Street for the New York Stock Exchange and finally becoming a software engineer. Life happened along the way, and in September 2019, she became a stay-at-home mom and lasted two weeks before becoming a wellness entrepreneur. Today, Ellie is a certified health coach with a heart for simple intuitive brain loss or weight loss, intuitive weight loss. She integrates helping people deepen their body awareness with brain-based coaching and simple daily habits to disrupt the diet industry. When she's not working or chasing the kid, she loves skiing, yoga, baking, coffee, and never met a taco she didn't like. Oh, I love all of this so much. And I didn't know you lasted two weeks with your stay-at-home mom journey. That I mean, that that just explains so much. And it's another reason that we connect. I feel like we've had so many serendipities. But yeah, so welcome. And Ellie and I have been working together in some capacity for about three years, and it's been such a beautiful journey. Our paths kind of crossed serendipitously. And I have really seen her just make so much progress over the past three years, incorporating her nervous system into all the amazing work that she's doing in the world. So the first question I'd love to ask you is why has prioritizing nervous system regulation become important to you?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well, thanks so much for having me. And it's fun to hear all of that kind of reflected back. And yeah, the nervous system, it's funny, I went straight from accomplishment or goal after goal after goal and really spinning wheels, not spinning wheels necessarily, but that energy just didn't work as well with motherhood and you know, just raising kids and building a business. It was just really hard. And I remember at the beginning of our time working together, you used to always ask me, like, why do you want this goal? Why do you want this goal? And a really gentle, maybe that those weren't the exact words, but that was in essence what we were talking about for the first season of my business and or first iteration, maybe. And I feel like over time, nervous system changes are slow in the moment. It's kind of like raising a child. It's like the days are long and the years go fast. And so that's what I feel like looking back. And it like now, so I can't really describe why it was important with me to start. And I used to always say to you, like, I'm so tired of regulating. But now when I now when I look at my life picture and how the how I've evolved in the last three years, regulation is everything to me because I notice when I'm now today, I feel so in alignment with what I'm doing, what's it like to wear my mom hat, my wife hat, my business hat, and take care of myself. And it becomes so much more obvious when something doesn't fit within what feels good that I I guess it's become so important to me because I know pretty clearly what fits in my life and what doesn't. And I'm I just don't have room for the things that don't anymore.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I love this. And like I I literally feel goosebumps because I think I think you nailed it in something I have seen so much through you about just the clarity that emerges about what is in alignment and what's not. And it is interesting that you bring that up, that conversation. And I almost, you know, we would I don't want to say butt heads because that I feel like is much too strong of a word, but what I just kept on bringing up, but why do you want this, right? Why do you want this? And maybe you can speak to basically three years ago what the goal was. And almost, I know we've talked on the side about smart goals versus releasing the goal and maybe how the goal has shifted, how you have a whole new business that's even more in alignment in just the past few years. So anything you want to speak to around that?
SPEAKER_01Well, the thing that's coming up for me is so, as you mentioned, I am a health coach. I focus on intuitive eating and stress management for weight loss. And I really have a big heart for weight loss. 17 or 18 years ago now, when I was in college, I gained the freshman 15, maybe 20, and just felt really uncomfortable with myself. And I really didn't know how to take care of myself. I didn't know the difference between physical hunger, emotional hunger, and spiritual hunger were all introduced to me at back at that time. And but I had a really powerful spiritual experience and got to share my testimony of faith on campus, and it was really, it was amazing. In that moment and praying before giving the story, giving sharing my story, um, I said a prayer that I hoped that God or the universe would use me as a resource to help people break chains of thought around food, body, and weight. So I had that seed really strongly planted so long ago. And I've known forever that I wanted to get into weight loss, but I didn't, I kind of almost forgot about it. It was like this hidden thing under the surface for so long. And when I became a stay-at-home mom, I was working with these great products and network marketing, and I just had this vision of like, okay, I'm not. So these are a couple different threads, but I was not okay not bringing in income anymore. I had never, and I don't think I was consciously aware of that. So I was like, okay, I'm gonna do this fast. They said it's simple. I was a software engineer, I played D1 lacrosse, like selling fruits and vegetables in a capsule is gonna be so easy, is what I told myself. And so that ended up being one of the hardest things I've ever done. And I learned so much along the way, but I stepping back, I also feel like there's a there was a greater purpose that was all underworked. So so many lessons, so many regulation tools, bringing, getting into alignment, finding coaching, like all these bits and pieces kind of came together. And then at some point, someone said to me, like, why are you not a health coach? Or like, why are you not coaching people? You're already a certified coach. Like, this is this feels like what you're meant to be doing. And I was like, You're right, I don't know how to do that. And so I flipped over my whole business, and what came through on the other side is I feel way more in alignment with my work. The products now have a space that makes sense to me in my business, so I'm still working with them. And overall, I just I feel like I'm living out my purpose and the thing that I had, the desire that was planted within me decades ago.
SPEAKER_00That is so beautiful. And when do you feel like that feeling like you're really living out your purpose has started to like become stronger? It is it's such a fun thing to really, when we look back, we're like, there's a reason this happened and this happened and this happened, and we can be going through it and not really realizing it in the moment, but I love that you're feeling that now. And I'm wondering if there's been a moment when you're feeling it more, feeling stronger that this is what I'm supposed to be doing.
SPEAKER_01Well, definitely when I'm not trying to control all outcomes and feeling more like present and regulated within myself, I just I do feel the deeper sense of trust in those moments. But I also have so there's that, and also I've built up so much evidence to know that so many parts of my life have really been coming together in the last couple years, especially. Um I don't think it's a coincidence that I've been coaching and working on nervous system stuff to know, like for for more powerful decision making. So it's kind of this co-creation process. And then I guess the second thing that your question made me think of is when I look forward, it's I can't believe I'm gonna say this given some of our coaching calls lately, but it gives me more confidence to know that decisions that I make in alignment today are going to give me the results that I'm longing for, like that those desires are coming. So it's kind of interesting when we're talking more like friend to friend versus coach to client, that um those things are really clear for me. So yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And I think that's that's important to say too, because like I truly believe coaching is the place where we get to be raw and really process the shadow that we all have. We all have like shadow in light. It's why I have a coach too. And I think like if people saw the version of me that I was on with my coach, it's different than I how I am in most of my life. And the only way that I get to be so regulated and so joyful genuinely in a lot of my life is because there's space to process the shadow that's in all of us. So it is really fun. Um, and I see this already in you. I already see so much evidence of you living in the trust and you being in regulation. So coaching is just this beautiful space that the shadow parts, the parts that like we get to clear and process in a really healthy way versus taking energy to step down. There's so many questions I want to ask you. I think the first one I would love to follow up with is you mentioned like the shift from control to trust, because I think this is so interesting, and to get your perspective about it, about how like you feel more in alignment with this is my purpose than ever before. And maybe it's not following like a plan that I've laid out and releasing the plan, how there's like more trust and uncertainty, like more peace, even though the path might be unclear of how I'm gonna get there.
SPEAKER_01Well, yes. I so I feel like that is where I'm living currently is deciding, you know. I've now been an entrepreneur for about seven years, and I've seen up levels every time I make a shift, in terms whether it's thinking, whether it's more nervous system, whether it's just being reminded to prioritize the things that are fun, because how quickly we forget when as we move on. And but so so yeah, I where I'm sitting now, I feel like I'm consciously working on what is my next 10x gonna look like, and just trusting that I am an Enneagram three, I love hard work, and I will make space for whatever I need to do. Like I would love for someone to just tell me, do X, Y, Z, and you will get from point A to point B. And I'm also I was an applied math major, like I love efficiency, and it's very counterintuitive to me that the most efficient path forward is so uncomfortable. And so prioritizing, you know, this summer we've called it my energy experiment, and I'm really enjoying this kind of container of what does it look like to make joy and fund the strategy? So I will say I'm very uncomfortable with that thought, but so far it is working, my business is working, and right now it's exactly what I was envisioning it to look like for the summer. And so, my the work for me is how do I release the next goal and enjoy what I've created for myself today?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. Yeah, just to mirror this back, Ellie coined this great phrase called the energy experiment. So, really, and maybe you can speak more to it and how you have said it's already working. So, like maybe what is the evidence of it working that you've seen already and then giving you confidence to more boldly step into your energy experiment this summer?
SPEAKER_01Um, yeah, well, I know that it's working because I have so my goal this summer was to have a modified part-time schedule of five clients and work two days a week so that for the first time in seven years as a working stay-at-home mom, I could really enjoy and soak up time with my kids. And, you know, everything has kind of fallen into place. I've got my two days a week that I'm working. I've just I've taken the kids hiking to play in the river, a little mom camp time for 48 hours in the mountains while my other daughter was at camp. So she was at Sleepway Camp and I took the other two. We're just I have a summer bucket list that is so fun and full of just things I haven't prioritized for myself in a really long time. And so, so the evidence to me that it's working is I'm looking, I noticed when I hit my business goal, I the joy that I was expecting to just like be there to stay did not. Like I celebrated and I am very proud of myself for the work that I've created. But now the challenge to me was like, I I have evidence that I can create the results that I want, but I also am now finding truth in these are the things that actually fill my life. So I hope that answers your question.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. Like, absolutely. So, um, would you say that you're finding more joy in your life intentionally? Yeah. And I'm curious though, to like put it back on business because I think a lot of people, certainly something that I've worked through and have to intentionally choose that success in my business does not come at the expense of fun and joy. The more I lean on fun and joy in my life, the more the business results come in too. So I'm curious, like, how has stepping into this energy experiment benefited also your business?
SPEAKER_01Okay, well, I think people often hire a coach because they want to improve some part of their life. And so for me, just being able to go so I talk about intuitive eating and weight loss, like really savoring and loving a croissant with my daughter, like a chocolate croissant on a random day or morning. Actually, I think it was my dog's birthday. So I took everybody to Starbucks. Like I being able to bring like real life experiences and the joy that I get from those type of connecting moments with my kids, like that ripples into the marketing that I write and the, you know, the magnetism that I think other moms feel who are like, we would love to feel better in our own skin. And I want to have a chocolate croissant with my daughter, you know. So I think me enjoying food and life and quenching the physical, emotional, spiritual pieces that we all long for as humans or hunger that we feel as humans, like that gives me more joy and fills my cup and also ripples into I know other moms want that, you know.
SPEAKER_00Yes, of course they do. That's so good. I would love to ask you too. The work you do, I feel like if not every single woman can relate to a time in their life where they were thinking about diet or losing weight, they probably they certainly know someone who has, right? It's like a very common theme in the world that we live in. And I love how you approach it differently. And I would just be curious how stress management plays in weight loss and diet for you, or maybe not diet, right? We're looking at it differently.
SPEAKER_01Well, it's it's kind of everything in the sense that we so as I originally learned from you a few years ago, stress really cannot live in a relaxed body. And when we are stressed, we're we're typically not feeling our full, we're not inhabiting our body fully, and it's really hard to notice and pay attention to hunger cues. And so I think when people start working with me, they have no idea that they're gonna learn about stress because there's there's usually the problem for people with their weight is that they're overeating somewhere, and typically it's emotional or stress, emotional eating or mindless eating. And both of which require us to feel safety around processing and feeling our feelings so that we're not numbing them with food. And for the mindless piece, coming back into feeling present, I think um a lot of that comes more with just regaining presence and then noticing, like, okay, what do I actually need right now? And just getting curious about like what if we're not noticing our food when we're eating it, then why are we eating it? And I say that with so much compassion because it is a human like tendency to we have to practice presence, and um, that's a lifelong journey. And so when we're not present with ourselves, there's different things that can come in that I think are trying to solve for that for that single.
SPEAKER_00So yes, I think that's so important. I remember it's probably been months ago now that I saw you post something, and this just speaks to the potency of it because it's coming into my mind and I remember it, but you had something about like, you know, the problem is food is a great regulator, right? Like there's a lot of things that we can do that quote unquote regulate us in the moment, but it's almost like a false regulator, food, even overworking or over, you know, drinking. There's lots of these things that we can reach to that make us feel okay temporarily. So it's it's one of those things I love that you said that, because I definitely in the past have emotionally eaten, like or would come home from something and it would be a quick way to quote unquote bring myself back to center. But if I zoomed out, it kind of just increased the problem, right? There was not true regulation. So I am curious for you. I mean, can you speak more about that? Because I thought that was just such a powerful post that you had shared.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So food is an amazing stress management tool. But the problem it increases dopamine and serotonin in the moment. But within a few minutes, I mean, I'm sure I've had these experiences. It sounds like you have like, you know, five minutes after eating something, it's like, oh, why did I do that? And then we end up like kind of being frustrated with ourselves or just not really noticing, like, why did I do that? But but your body feels different. So it's a it is a really effective tool, but it doesn't give people the results that they want. And so bringing in some of the some of the different tools that I've learned through you, through your power of's and other programs, like that, paying forward, you always teach us to like if when you learn one, tell me it again, learn one, teach one, show one, or learn one.
SPEAKER_00Yes, I can share with the listeners. So I always say, so your brain is going to change the most or your nervous system through now. I'm forgetting it. Um say one, do one, teach one, which basically means like we learn something and then we practice it. And then if we can teach someone else, so I I'm always like, I do not hold this vault. I didn't like create this stuff. So I'm like, who can we share this with? How can we create a ripple of right? Regulation in the world. And have you noticed that when you've been able to share and teach, it's embodied the embodiment for yourself has gone deeper.
SPEAKER_01Right. Well, yes, I've noticed that for myself. And I also have from 15 plus years ago a 200 and a 300-hour yoga teacher training certification. And so I have deep training and awareness and mindfulness and connecting with people. I love that you teach us bite-sized tools that are easily transferable through the phone or through Zoom because I know I have the background and the skills to be paying forward some of these tools, but um yours are so practical that it has made me feel it has solidified things for me. And I notice I can see a client shift from feeling like anxious or stressed or just, you know, somewhere far away from there, what their magic zone looks and feels like. And so watching them come closer to their center and then share from there like what their experience is like eating and taking care of themselves more broadly throughout the day, it's really powerful. And then even hearing stories that they share with me uh through Slack, I have people send me their food logs in a way that are really we're not counting things, but we're just paying attention to how our how are we feeling and how can food be a tool to serve as um like really catalyzing more checkpoints throughout the day with themselves. And so I have seen as they've kind of practiced more mindful breathing or deeper awareness before they sit down to eat, um, the scale is shifting and it's really fun and cool to watch. It's hard, it's a messy journey, but the broader trajectory is that it's it is working in their favor. So yeah.
SPEAKER_00So maybe I can ask you, because I think this would be really valuable to maybe either speak to the client or the listener who is tuning in and saying, Okay, this is me. I definitely notice moments where I'm snacking on things, and after I'm like, why did I eat that? What could you give them either as a tool when they're noticing I wish I didn't do it, or if there is that awareness before they go? What would be something that would help them in that moment, maybe?
SPEAKER_01So, this I have a few like very practical strategies. One is like if you're eating dinner and I have a lot of people tell me, like, I reach for seconds just because it tastes so good, or I'm I'm finishing my plate just because I lose connection with myself and everybody's still sitting and I'll keep eating. And so just get up and go to the bathroom, like to break the space or break the connection between you and the plate, and just go walk away, check in with yourself, take a few breaths. Like, literally, the bathroom is the easiest one because it's like, okay, I'm shutting the door, I'm sitting down, and just gonna like collect myself and then decide you know, your food is still gonna be there. So you can come back and keep eating, and it doesn't mean you have to hard stop, but I think creating a pause is really helpful. And then um another one is just asking yourself, what do I need right now? And if you if you are feeling like even an apple would taste good, there's kind of this like thing in intuitive eating called an apple test. It's like if you're really hungry and even that would be the first thing you would choose over something like salty or sweet, it's like okay, we're we're physically hungry, and finding something that sounds good to you, or you know, finding a healthy snack is a good option to take care of yourself physically. If not, and what's coming up for you is like, I'm just bored or I'm antsy or I'm lonely, or then thinking, okay, then how can I how can I take care of myself in that way versus mindlessly grabbing like the chip bag, you know?
SPEAKER_00This is so good. Yes, yes, taking a pause. I know you mentioned earlier in this episode about different types of hunger. So really allowing that pause to be like, what do I need? Because if we are fulfilling a need for connection with us, again, we're gonna get that false sense of it's okay for a moment, a moment, but it's almost gonna be worse later on. So I love this and I love that apple test. That's a fun one too, is many listeners probably have who have kids who are in summer and that maybe go through periods of boredom and want snacks all the time. So it could be a fun one to practice with your kids too. Like, how does an apple sound, right? Well, I know we have just a little time left. I guess I want to ask you if someone has not started their nervous system journey, or maybe they're just a few steps in, and you spoke to that, how in the beginning, like, gosh, am I gonna have to do this forever? Or it can feel really tedious in the beginning to get micro wins. And now that you're years in, how it's something that really has changed your life. So, how can you speak to either you before you really started or version or someone who has not started? And what would you want them to know if they're considering, do I choose this? Do I choose this as a way of living my life? Incorporating working with my nervous system.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, gosh, I I think it really is like hopefully there's a lot of moms listening to this because when you have a baby, it's like, oh, when are they gonna start talking? And when are they gonna like I think that might be my new favorite comparison is comparing it to a child because you know, at the beginning, you when you're not seeing the results come, it's like, oh, another diaper change or another another long sleepless night, you know, the things that just feel hard about it in the moment, but then time keeps moving, and the more drops in the bucket that you can make, or the more deposits, like you really are filling up this bank that you will be so grateful to draw from later. So I think either thinking of it as a child and how fast it goes, or there's this Buddha saying, like a jug is filled drop by drop. And so if you imagine like daily deposits, or you know, you can make two deposits in a day or three, um, couple checkpoints, that it it doesn't take a lot of time and over time you will notice just huge changes. So yeah, I think that would be is definitely there's no better time to start than as soon as possible, you know, today. But just trusting that these are daily deposits that you're making.
SPEAKER_00Yes, yes. And I love that you said that because I feel like it was certainly it's certainly been a process in my own journey and a lot of people that I work with where we're once we are working with our nervous system, it's almost like, why didn't I know this sooner? I wish I had known this sooner, it would have changed everything. But we can't know better until we, or we can't do better until we know better, right? So if you're hearing this, this is your invitation, and maybe you can just speak to, you know, those drops in the bucket that you mentioned, it can be that pause, right? It can be something so little, but it's just that I choose to drop one little drop of water daily or most days and just choose that this is making a difference. And I like to say this work tends to be like compound interest. So if you haven't seen, you can Google what is a penny doubled for a month, and you think like can't be that much. You know, day two, it's two cents, day three, it's four cents. Well, if you zoom out to 30 days, it's actually millions of dollars. And that's kind of how the nervous system feels in the beginning. It's like, is this pause really working? Is the slower breath really doing anything? But then you just have this compound interest effect with these small deposits that you just choose to do.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, I love that. And my mind is spinning on it, applies to all parts of life and everything I think is rooted in the nervous system. So I think it's it's a great one to choose to make deposits for.
SPEAKER_00Amazing. Well, Ellie is just this lovely human being. I'm gonna have all her information in the show notes so you can connect with her on a deeper level, learn really deeply about what she does. But I also want to just give her some time to just talk about the work she does, if this spoke to you, how you can reach out and work with her as well. So, do you mind sharing about that? Yeah, no, I'd love to do that.
SPEAKER_01So, right now I have a private one-on-one health coaching practice. And so that's my favorite way to work with people is to really get in the detail with them of their lives and their experience. And um, one thing that I was thinking before, like, so the diet industry is huge and worth billions of dollars, maybe even pushing like trillions of dollars. Um, but so much of it is like there's a diet and a plan over here, but if stress is what's causing you to overeat or mindlessly eat, you know, on the other side, the plan will only get you so far. But then maintaining is the really the challenge for people. So I think that's where yo-yo dieting comes from. If we can address the stress and the pieces that are causing and triggering the overeating, then you're I really like to say that I'm helping people lose weight for the last time because once we solve for that and eat according to your body's hunger, your body will stabilize at its natural set point as a side effect of your habits. So I really love kind of helping people create that. And so I'd say that's the number one way that I work with people. I do have a number of free things on my profile. So I know I put those links in there, but I've got a free guide that shares where I would start if I wanted to lose five to 15 pounds in the next two months. I have a maintenance guide for anybody who's lost a lot of weight recently or any weight recently. So that kind of shares like how I would carry forward. And then I have a fun app tool that I created with AI, which is awesome for busy moms that are looking for meal planning support. So that I can tell is it okay if I tell about that for a few seconds? 100%. Yes. Please talk about this. So the app is really fun. You plug in like your family. So I've got a vegetarian husband, a picky daughter, a really growing son, and a sweet tooth older daughter. And then I'm like a health conscious mom. So I plug everybody in, then I plug in how much time during the week do I actually have to cook and prepare things, and then I think the next screen is anything I don't want to have in it. So you can filter out like anything with quinoa or tofu or seafood or whatever, whatever it is. And then there's a custom box too, where if you know you have like tons of carrots in your fridge, you can say, I have extra carrots, and it'll tailor like how to use those things up. And then the next page are things that you're working on. So if you're on a GOP1, if you're trying to reduce inflammation, balance blood sugar, you know, whatever it is, you just check all the boxes, and then when you submit it, it'll give you a meal plan for the week with customizations and really good links to recipes. So it's very fun and it's free.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, it shouldn't be free because it's so good. So definitely check that out because I have definitely played around with it with also different eating styles within my family. And I I think I I love there's so many aspects of this app, but that how much time do I have? Because it really helps you make a realistic, nourishing meal if that's your goal within the time that you have, and that is so valuable. Well, thank you so much. Um, I think one final question I would just like to ask you is how long do people tend to work with you that journey of this is the last time you're gonna try to lose weight, right? What does that journey look like for most people?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so six month increments is it's six months to really build up new lifestyle habits that carry through family vacations and sickness or travel. So, really, how do we bring intuitive eating into all parts of or all seasons of life with you? And so I do work with people for six months. That's not to say that you'll reach your the often you see indicators of things working in less food noise, more confidence, like intangibles. And so the weight, I can't promise that. Um, so some people are gonna lose faster than others or hit their goal at different timelines, but but it's really built on like yeah, it's just that part is more unpredictable, but we're laying the foundation.
SPEAKER_00Yes, of course. That makes so much sense. And a lot of times with coaching, we get more than we expect, right? Like you, I'm sure you have people who want to lose weight, but then they're like, gosh, I just feel so much better in my life and what a gift that is. Um, well, thank you so much for being here. I know you are we are limited with our time because we could talk so much more. So we might have to have Ellie back in the future and just sharing about all the amazing things she is doing.
