Hello, hello, and welcome back to Weaving Resonance. Today's conversation, I am just beyond excited to share it with you because a few months ago in April, I gave myself a gift of an astrology reading. And I sat down with today's guest, Leslie Galbrath, for that astrology reading. It became highly recommended by a dear trusted friend, Sarah Biffin, if you're listening. And I was blown away by Leslie's ability to decode a birth chart and do it in a way that really taught me a lot about how astrology works, because I'm I'm definitely a novice with it, and to also be able to pinpoint who I am, why I'm here, and where I am transitioning in my life. And what I love most about Leslie is her approach and how you could just tell that she lives and breathed this kind of work, which is such a deep, deep embodiment and her transmission, which you will see today. I mean you were really in virtue in terms of learning about all things astrology to really break down things and concepts that I had no idea how they were talking about the first part of the letters towards this interview. So in this conversation, um we really explore astrology as a map of the goal. So we talk about seditary cycles, transit, birth chart, uh and so much more. That I just like I said, I think you'll excited. Especially if you're an office like me, you'll be able to then after the session really go in and look at your birth chart and hopefully book a session with the left click because it's fantastic. And like I said, the code in a way that I don't know anybody else that can do that. So you are in for a treat. Uh whether you're completely into astrology like me or haven't studied it for years, I think you'll find something in the conversation that helps you yourself and your journey of the code. So buckle up, take a deep breath, and let's dive. Alright, hello and welcome back to Weeping Resonance. I am very excited to be sharing with you today someone that I've had the honor of working with in the past, Leslie Galbraith. I didn't know how to pronounce her name before, but here we are. And Leslie is an incredible astrologist and gave me a reading just this past birthday of mine on April 7th when I turned 42. And she was highly recommended. And actually, I didn't even get to tell you, Leslie, that um after you did my reading before, because we got connected through a mutual friend, Sarah Biffin, who was like, Oh, this is like I was like, Do you have an astrologist? And she was like, say no more, like just here she is. And after I had my my um my reading with you, my friend Annabelle Bousse, she was like, Oh, I know Leslie. Oh yeah, I work with her all the time. Oh yeah. So it's so funny. I'm like, wow, Leslie really is the person. Like, she is the go-to person. Everyone knows her. So thank you so much for being here. So excited to talk with you. And as I was mentioning to you before we hop on, we're just gonna take a quick moment, get into our bodies, right? The listeners know, if you've listened before, we just kind of take a second, not a full-blown meditation, just to get into our bodies. So full body listening. So wherever you are, whatever you're doing, driving a car, going for a walk, sitting down, see if you could take a moment to just pull all of your awareness, all of your attention, your focus into the center of your heart. And just by doing that, sense your heart awakening, the space of connection to yourself, the space of connection to the heartbeat of Mother Earth, to the heartbeat of the universe. And to all those heartbeats in between, all those nodes, all the people in your life, the animals, the elements, the stars, the moon, the sun, the planets, the galaxies. And see if you could just sense from that place, feeling your whole body awakened, connected to your heartbeat that connects to every single rhythm that exists and has existed and will exist. Beautiful. So from that anchored place, we can come back to just listening to being with one another once again, welcoming Leslie here. And Leslie, I would love if you could just give a little background around who you are. You know, I already said you're an astrologist, right? But what you do, maybe what makes you unique in this field. And as I shared with you before, I love to start with like this thread of how did you get here? So maybe starting with where were you born, right? How does this path get you to here? And then what you're doing now.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you for having me. And I'm honored to be on your podcast. And um, yeah, I just I, you know, as we mentioned, got introduced to you by Sarah, and then I went to look at your Instagram, of course. That's what we do now, and I was like, wow, powerful lady. So thank you so much for having me beyond. And and you know, I really, really resonate with so many things that you share online, you know. I mean, these little things that you say are just so powerful. Uh just you know, a few sentences. Um the other day you talked about uh when people cry in their session, and I was like, because that happens almost every session that I have too, and you know, it is some a powerful release and it does really shift people. So I just want to say thank you, birth, for having me. And um yeah, I'm so honored to be here. So I was born in Wisconsin, just north of Milwaukee, but mostly in farmland. So I grew up very connected to nature. Um, I have a big family. I have uh five brothers and sisters and 11 nieces and nephews, so um a lot of family stuff growing up. My mom was also very religious uh Catholic as a kid. So I went to Catholic grade school and was very connected to this sense of like a god when I was young, but very quickly kind of was like there's something off here and not too everybody has their beliefs and I appreciate and love everyone for whatever they want. For me, it didn't quite resonate. I felt that I was seeing a lot of hypocrisy, and so as a very small kid, I was really opening my eyes to a lot of things that were happening around me, especially within the church and things that were going on that were not appropriate and all sorts of stuff, and I really I I sensed that deeply as a kid, and I was like, why is this happening? So after I kind of came home and I was like, I'm done, then I went to public school, and I after I got confirmed, my belief kind of connection to God was always so strong, but it wasn't in that type of faith. Like I I built this other connection, which when you just talked about centering in your heart, that's where I felt it was. So as I went on my journey, I started studying art in college. I went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison and I got my art degree, and I was very interested in art since forever. Um I went to school. After school, I moved to Seattle for a little bit. I worked in the arts there for an art consultant, and then about 24 years ago I moved to New York City, and I worked in the art world here. I worked for a uh contemporary art conservator running the studio, and it was kind of like my dream job. I was working with all top artists, top musicians, uh, top museums, top collectors. I mean, it was just like the real top of the art world, and very exciting job, but I felt really unfulfilled, and I just didn't know like why or what, and I just was so like frustrated, you know, and up and and just bummed, even though it was a great job, great place, great people. So in 2009, I um knew that I had to do something different. I also had a health crisis at that time. I had some really bad problems with my stomach. And a friend of mine worked for an acupuncturist, and he said, Come see Abdi, Asadi. I'm gonna say who it is because he's my mentor and teacher. And I went there and he looked at me and he said, almost like my entire life's journey, and then he said, You're fine, get on the table, and then he put some needles in me, and 20 minutes later I left. And I, over the course of a couple three days, completely felt better. And I have been months of doctors. I had gone to gynecologists, I had gone to I had gone endoscopy, I had gone to gastrointestinal. I mean, I had been through the whole ringer of doctors, probably I think I saw eight or nine doctors. And in 20 minutes, he was like, Your mom, your dad, your brother, your blood, and then he just went through everything, and I was like, what? And then I felt so much better. And two weeks later, my friend who is his assistant called me and said, Um, I need to find somebody to fill this position. I'm going to start my own business. And I said, Me. And he said, Okay, let me ask him. Called him, called me back. He said, You're hired. I said, wait, do you want, does he want an interview? He said, nope, no interview needed, you're hired. So I went to my job, I gave two weeks' notice, and I went to go work for him. And so over the course of four about four years, that's when I started studying astrology. As a gift from the art studio for me leaving, they gifted me an astrology reading. And that woman, I had already found her online because we had given the owner a reading gift with her, Rebecca Gordon. And so they gave me a gift with her. I went and met her in this little office in Midtown, and she sat down and she proceeded to say almost the same things as ASB. As Abdi. Oh, your family, you're this, your brother, you're so and I thought, wait a minute here, this is wild. Like, how is this happening? And that something clicked on in my life at that reading. And between the two of those mentors and teachers, then it just took off from there. So I actually ended up studying with her for about a year. She was kind of my first mentor teacher into the astrology. I read books on my own, did my own work, and in that time working for Abdi, I learned a lot about energy, uh Chinese medicine, um, how powerful we are to heal ourselves, um, meditation, psychic awareness. I mean, he really I learned a lot, and it was like a quick, you know, expedited school in energy. And uh at the end of about four years, he said, I'm going to close down my practice in this way, and I'm gonna, you know, get rid of you as an assistant because I'm gonna see less people now. He's getting right, he had been doing it for about 35 years at that point. And I looked at him and I was like, What am I gonna do? And he's like, You're an astrologer now. And that week I met uh this really amazing lady, Lisa, from a healing center, Maha Rose, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. And she said, Oh, I want an astrologer at my healing center. And I said, Okay, great. So I went to go talk to her, and then I started working there that same week. And that was then I worked there for about seven years seeing clients, teaching classes, building my practice, and um then it just continued since then, and this is here I am today.

SPEAKER_02

Wow, and now you do everything online? Is that true? Like everything virtually, or do you meet people still or no?

SPEAKER_00

I do everything online. I have clients all over the world, so I do you know cloud just phone sessions.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_00

Um but recently I've been really feeling the call to do more um group stuff and connecting with people and talking more. And our also our mutual friend Dan, who is Sarah's husband, the the power couple, Dan and Sarah. Um Dan and I talked about doing some little group stuff together, possibly. So I'm really feeling like the in wanting to get back into in person and working because it's just so fun, you know. When I do my classes, I have a projector and I project the chart on the on this, you know, on the wall, and then I talk people through it and teach about it, and it's just it's just great. I love being with people, so I'm kind of wanting to get back more into doing more group stuff, so that's coming up.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, amazing, yeah. I I I feel like I have so many questions that I want to ask. Um and I'm gonna try to reframe myself a little bit because they're they're more like very personal questions, but I wanted to ask you how have you seen that astrology has changed your life? Like, how do you live now that you didn't live to live before you knew about astrology? Like, do you kind of wake up and always kind of look at where the planets are?

SPEAKER_00

Yep. And I I mean, great question because it really is a big shift. And I know um all my planets, obviously, I have everything memorized, and then I know where everything is, always. So, for example, today we're talking on June 11th, and this morning the moon moved into Taurus. The best way to get your toe kind of into understanding how to live with astrology, because again, the astrology, if we think about the weather, cliche, it's hot, it's humid, the wind is this, the pressure is this, right? Astrology is the emotional weather of the field. That's what the description of it is. And the easiest way to kind of tap into starting to understand if people are curious about it and interested about it, is to know where the moon is and follow the moon. The moon is the emotional weather. So every two to three days, the moon is gonna change signs, and obviously we hear out there, oh, it's a new moon, it's a full moon, you know, all these practices, new moon initiation, full moon releases. But every two to three days, the emotional weather of the collective is going to shift. So if you know, is the moon in an earth sign, a fire sign, an air sign, or a water sign today, you're gonna get a tap into what's the vibe out there. You know, today the moon is earth, it's gonna be grounded, all the food is gonna be amazing, everybody's gonna look beautiful in their clothes, the music is gonna be incredible, you're gonna notice little more birds chirping everywhere. I mean, when we get the moon in Taurus, that's its exalted place. So it's one of my favorite moon days of the month is the moon in Taurus. If the moon is in a fire, people are gonna be amped up. You're gonna have Aries moon, someone might cut you off. Like me first, me first. You know, there's gonna be fire energy. Sag moon, there's gonna be a party, Leo Moon, it's gonna be fun, creative. If we're getting into an air moon, there's gonna be a lot of communication, especially on a moon that has a Gemini, like your moon, right? You and Moon Gemini, that might be days when there's a lot of emails, a lot of text messages, a lot of phone calls, any of the days when there's an air moon, and if there's a water moon, you just might feel way more emotional those days. So this is an easy way to start to get into of like, okay, where's the moon? Then on top of that, of course, then you relate it to your chart. Where's your moon? Where's everything? So, to answer your question about yeah, I follow my astrology, I know where everything is every day, and I'm always tracking it, because one of the things that we talk about is our transits, and in astrology, a transit is a planet or a luminary, the sun or moon, gets to a specific degree relative to our thought, uh where we are, tropical astrology, what is what I practice, traditional classic Western astrology. That luminary or planet gets to a degree that we have stamped in our field, our aura, our energetic code, whatever we want to call, and there's a resonance, right? So transits are a planet is like plucking a string of the instrument that we are, and there's a resonance. So when we follow our transits, and what I do a lot in my work and my practice and my consultations is talking about um, how are the planets today resonating where you are in your life right now? What are the cycles that you're going through? What you know, what is being called, what is the energy? So when we follow the planetary movement, that's one thing of just knowing, like, oh yes, you know, right now we're in Gemini season, right? And everybody's an honorary Gemini, right? Where's the moon? But then when it gets really interesting is when you start to develop a connection, a story, a resonance with your planets and how it's affecting them.

SPEAKER_02

So transit is like exactly what's happening in your chart in comparison with what's happening in the world, like if we're in Gemini season. Is that what you mean by the word transit?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so when you have all of your planets lined up, you have an energetic code, right? And all the planets when you were born are fixed at a number. That number is your code. So anytime a planet or the sun or moon gets to the number, that's called a transit, and there's an interaction of energy. What a lot of people talk about in astrology is to this prediction story, right? So let's say that I'm gonna have Mars transit or line up to a certain point in my chart. What's gonna happen there? The thing that's so cool about all of this is that. The potentials are limitless. The potentiality of this reality is incredible. And there is so much magic that happens in this realm that we are a part of and in this physical body. But we are the creators. We are the creators of our reality. So astrology, when we hear so many things on like, I say TikTok astrologers now, and you know, you hear all this stuff of like today's the best day of the year, and that's this day and every day and all that. You know, a lot of that is nonsense, quite honestly. It's just nonsense. I have a really good friend of mine, she's always sending me stuff, and I said, What? when she sends me some stuff because and I understand they want to get involved, they're excited about it. But when you really get to the essence of what is astrology, it is the map of your soul. You came here with a purpose, you came here with a plan, and you are living out that cycle. So the transits are activators of different cycles in our life. Does that make sense?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. So they're like pivotal moments.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. And for example, two, think about every year when it's your birthday. Okay. So every year when it's your birthday, the sun returns to the exact position that the sun was on the day that you were born, right? So that's a transit of the sun conjunction in a conjunction to your sun.

SPEAKER_02

Got it.

SPEAKER_00

So we have all these different little you know, stories, and because the planets moving at different cycles, we might have a transit of Mercury, and that lasts one day. And that day we get an important message or an important meeting, or we meet somebody. We have transits where let's say Pluto crosses over your sun, that transit lasts almost two years or more. So as we go through our life's journey, we are going to have at certain ages, all of us, the same transits. And the biggest one you hear about is Saturn return. Right? That's a transit of Saturn in a conjunction to your Saturn. So at the end of your 20s, 28, 29, it starts to creep in, 30, 31, Saturn aligns with your Saturn and it's a pitch period of maturity and growth. So our whole life, there are certain ages that everyone is gonna have these really important cycles. Another big, big cycle at 50, 51, everyone has Chiron, the wounded healer, returned to the position it was when they were born. Okay, so in those periods, yes, you're being asked to confront something, right? Or grow something or evolve some part of your soul. We also have our own specific plan, and then we have personal transits, and that's very personal to our chart. So I like to kind of talk about that because most of the time you hear a lot about astrology, you hear about, oh, what's my sun sign? Yes, my ego, what's my moon sign, my emotion, my rising sign, how do I perceive the world, how am I seen in the world? These are all parts of our character makeup, right? Our Mercury, how do we give and receive information? Venus is how do we love, what do we value, it's about our vanity, how we dress, um, what we value in relationships, our Mars, all these different planets are different archetypes. Our Mars is our desire, how we move. If you look at your Mars in your chart, you'll get a sense of how do you move? Do you move fast or do you move slow?

SPEAKER_02

It's mine fast.

SPEAKER_00

Your Mars is in Scorpio. Is that fast? So move move with intensity. You have a lot of you have other things that are in fife, but move with intensity.

SPEAKER_02

That makes sense.

SPEAKER_00

My Mars is in Taurus. I walk so slow. My best friend, her Mars is in Aries. We're she's already there 10 minutes before I'm there. And I I used to get frustrated, but I was like, Yeah, I'll see you. I'll meet you at the door. Like she goes so fast. She's just like, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk. Me, I don't want to be rushed. My Mars is slow. So all the planets, you know, we talk about that, but where astrology gets super fascinating is when we get into the transit.

SPEAKER_02

For me. So can you break down, like you started kind of breaking down all the planets, and it was something that I wanted to ask you. I was gonna ask you about the you already did it about the sun, the moon, and the rising, but you already did it. Yeah. Can you break down all the planets like you just did with Mars, right? It's kind of like the speed in which we move in life.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Right?

SPEAKER_02

And I think you said a few before that, but maybe if we could go in order from the sun, if that's helpful, or however you can. Yeah, sure. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So the sun and moon are not planets, they're luminaries. Right. So we talk about them as the luminary. The sun, ego, our identity, and the moon, our emotion. So that's the essence when we get who am I, how do I feel? Right. In the chart, the sun is always going to represent the father's lineage. It's gonna represent the father, birth father, and any father figure we might have a soul agreement with. Sometimes we're adopted, sometimes we have a stepfather that comes in, sometimes there's a grandfather that's a part of that lineage. But the sun will always show the ancestry of father. The moon will always show the ancestry of mother. So when I get into talking, you know, to people and doing just a general reading, I'm covering a lot of things. The first thing I'm talking about is their transits because I want to help them understand what cycle they're in. But part of the reading, I love to go back deeper into the story of mom and dad, you know, they're our weird gods, they created us. Okay. So sun and moon, you know, that is very clear in the chart. Father ancestry, mother ancestry, birth, and then if we have it, because we do have agreements with all sorts of soul contracts with people. So um, even my sister, she adopted four kids. That sun and moon in their chart will show their their birth parents, but it also brings into the story of my sister and her story as mom, because she adopted them as babies, all of them. So sun and moon, ego, emotion, father, mother. Then we go to personal planets, Mercury, like I said, communication, Venus, love and relationship, Mars, desire and action. And because those move fairly fast, like sometimes Mercury is only an assigned for two weeks if it's not retrograde. Those planets really shape our characteristics. So when we're looking at something that's like sinistry, the chart of two people, what we're looking at is like kind of comparing, oh, what's your communication style and their communication style, right? So we really look a lot at the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars. Those are the personal planets and luminary. Then there's a big gap between Mars and Jupiter. So then we have Jupiter and Saturn, which are our social planets, because Jupiter stays in one sign for a year, and Saturn is about two and a half, three. So everybody in our age group will have the same Jupiter Saturn. Everybody in our class and you know, school, and that same kind of one, two years will have this most likely the similar Jupiter-Saturn. Jupiter in our chart shows a lot about our joy and our confidence, and where we hear out there about luck. But I look at it as wherever our Jupiter is, there's a lot of gifts that we bring in this life, right? And there's a lot of things that are like kind of part of our magic. Your Jupiter is in Capricorn. Work, show up, discipline, responsible, get it done, make it happen, leader, guide, teacher. I'm gonna be here for you whenever you need it. This is something that's your you're you're just naturally and even the the sign that it's in, we can also look at the house, which is areas of our life. Your Jupiter is in your sixth house, your house of day-to-day work, your work. So your work and this gift that you have with you helping all these people and sharing all this incredible service, right? This is something that um you have there's a natural inherent gift, which I believe comes from other lives. That's how I look at it from evolutionary astrology point. We've been here in the physical over and over and over. So our Jupiter is gonna show us a lot about the gifts that we are here. Our Saturn is our planet of work and discipline and responsibility and duty, and Saturn is gonna be a little bit more where we have some lessons. So, whatever sign it's in, whatever house it is, it's gonna show us a lot about um what I say is like our sole syllabus, the things that we came here to work on and evolve. Some of the tougher stuff in the chart that we're really like, this is not easy stuff, is gonna be through our Saturn. So Saturn is the planet we look at as work, discipline, responsibility, duty, that those because Saturn's the ruler of Capricorn, so that's that's the affinity there. Those are social. Okay. Then the outer planets are generational and they shape um all sorts of the era of times. Uranus represents where we have this unique genius and our sense of freedom and individuality. Neptune is a lot about our spiritual um gifts and some of the spiritual connections, our creativity, things like that. Uh, what do we idolize? Um uh another little bit where is our magic, Neptune? And then, oh, and also with Neptune, which is so cool, it stays in a sign for about 14 years. Neptune will also shape the fashion of the time, which I also love when you look at these generational stuff. Um you look at Neptune was in the 60s when it was all short skirts. Neptune was in Scorpio, we had mini skirts. Neptune went in the 70s into Sag and we had like bell bottoms, right? Neptune in the 80s was in Capricorn, everybody had shoulder pads and like the big hair. Yes. Uh Neptune was in Aquarius, and then everybody, or yeah, after Capricorn is Aquarius, and then everybody had like weird textures and weird clothes and reflective and futuristic stuff. And then Neptune just left Pisces last year. Neptune had been in Pisces for 14 years, and what came back? Tie-dyes, flowie's, crystal, cloely, like everything. Like Neptune, you know, this real like kind of like mystical, magical uh energy and and connecting to the the way that we dress and pr you know present ourselves. Now I'm Neptune's in Aries, and I saw, which was so wild, there is a um a fashion show uh and it was I think it was like the week after when Neptune first moved into Aries. Um, because I don't have TV, I don't watch any of media, but I skim the news constantly to correlate the astrology. Okay, so I look at things all day, all day, all the time, so I can correlate that, but then that's about it. I don't go to because otherwise, you know, it's too much. So I noticed that this fashion show, it was all this armor and this spikes. There's actually a friend of mine, um Tava, her good friend is um Daniel Rosenberry of Chipperelli, and his it was his collection, and he had all these spikes and all these things up, and I thought, oh my god, Neptune and Aries, like it can't get any more like armor, like the whole collection looked like armor, and I was like, this is so wild. I was like, so cool. So Neptune's a lot about the fashion of the time, what are we into, what are people drawn to, and that energy. Then we have Pluto, and Pluto stays in a sign for 13 to 30 years, and it's about power, our inner power, our drive. Pluto's the planet of transformation. So in our chart, wherever our Pluto is, we're gonna have this really strong transformational quality that's going to death and rebirth, death and rebirth, death and rebirth. Pluto in your chart is in the fourth house, the house of home and family.

SPEAKER_02

Hmm. Makes sense.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So death and rebirth in that area of your life, learning, and then another learning, and then another growth, and then a death of something, and another rebirth of something over and over and over. This is usually where Pluto will find incredible transformation, wherever it is in our chart. So those are the main ones. There's two other points that we throw in. Um, Chiron, which is an asteroid, and that shows us where we carry a wound that we will turn into a healing teaching gift. And that wound usually starts very young when we're a child through our family dynamic. And as we heal that wound, then we become a teacher and a guide, kind of like a maverick, Chiron is associated with for that energy. And then the last two points that are hierarchy important in our chart is the north node and the south node. And you'll hear those all the time. People talk about those, and because those two points really speak about the south node, what's our mastery and the gifts we came here with, and our north node, what are we moving towards in this life that might be a little uncomfortable for us, but we're excited to um grow something.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I I told you before we got on, like one of the things when we were doing my reading that I really remembered is that I came with like this fire energy in the north node, and now I'm moving to the or sorry, in the south node, and now I'm moving into more of an air. And I was saying to you that like it really helped me because air does feel uncomfortable to me. Like being in Aries, being very fire, like action feels comfortable, you know, going leading, and then moving into this air of like communication, relationship, that kind of thing. I was like, oh goodness, that's like even though I love to communicate, but when it just feels a little unsettling to me, you know, so it's so interesting. I never knew that about the nodes at all. And I just have to say, I mean, I just learned so much over the like five, ten minutes that you were just talking. You are an incredible teacher. And I never understood, like a really interesting thing when you were speaking, I was like, oh, like the planets kind of remind me how the how the chakras work in a way of like this, yeah, you know, there's the lower chakras, like you were saying, the the planets that are close to the center more like our character, right? And then there's kind of the center chakras, the higher chakras, and as you were getting further away, it was making me realize like there's a pattern here, you know, like there's a pattern in how something evolves. And you know, one of the questions that was coming up for me that I was like, I'm not gonna ask it. But it was so fascinating when you were talking about Neptune and you were relating it to fashion because and I don't know if this was coming through intuitively, but when you were talking about your life being so much about art and then kind of this transition into astrology, all I kept thinking about is how much art must influence what you do, especially like just the chart in general. Like I feel like you must just look at that and like just understand on a design level, get it in like such a unique way that other people must not be able to connect dots on, you know? So it just when you were talking about Neptune and fashion, I was like, oh my goodness, this is exactly what I was thinking about is that Leslie must have such a gift when it comes to like this transmission through art, through time, through space, and how that works through astrology, time and space. So just very interesting.

SPEAKER_00

You're so on it. Neptune is exactly conjunct my mid-heaven, my house of career.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_00

So you're you're tapped in. That's exactly what I've done.

SPEAKER_02

I really feel it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it is very visual for me. I have to look at the chart in a very visual way. And when I teach about the chart, I have it set where it's a very like a and I teach that way to kind of like the visualization of it. So yeah, that's that's it in and it is a art. Astrology is an art, and it is a science in some ways. There's a lot of geometry, there's a lot of uh numbers, you know. So it's an art and a science, you know, it's a real tool of divination, essentially. Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_02

I would love if you because I feel like you're just putting so many pieces together. Would you talk to us about the houses then? Like what are the houses, so then someone can kind of like collect this in their head.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So all these things matter.

SPEAKER_00

In the chart, when you see that wheel, it looks so complicated. And and you can think of astrology again, it's like a language, it's like learning Spanish, you know, it's like French. It's a language. So it's a language everybody can learn. It just looks kind of complicated and a little intimidating when you look at the wheel. It's like, what am I looking at? But the wheel, once you start to learn a little bit, like we talk about what are the um glyphs for each sign, you know, like the moon is the moon symbol, right? Once you learn that language, you can put things together pretty pretty quickly. So the chart will always have an ascendant which sets your rising sign. That's why the time is so important. So if you're somebody, you know your birth location, the date, but you don't know the time, if you are in the United States listening, other countries have different protocols and you can connect to the hospital. I know people in Canada, um, I have a lot of clients in Canada. I know sometimes they can call the hospital directly, uh, and they do have records, but in the United States, if you don't know your time or you have a copy of your birth certificate that doesn't have the time, you can go to the CDC Bureau of Vital Statistics. You can just Google it, CDC Bureau of Vital Statistics, and every single state has an office, and you can write, there's usually a co-fee of between 10 and 20 dollars. You can write or call, it also depends on the state, and ask for the long form of your original birth certificate, and you will get the time. And most records in all the states go back to 1910, 1904, or something like that. So if you're someone who doesn't know their time. But you want, and I really encourage everybody to do do the digging. You know, sometimes you see in baby books or you see in a photograph. Now every child knows what time they're born.

SPEAKER_02

There's like a picture of it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And you even some, you see these like little memes of like, hurry up, it's gonna be uh Aries rising, like or something, you know, or people slow down, you know. So now, okay. But for us older people or people who don't, you can get your time. I encourage you, get to time. Why the time is important is because that sets the wheel of the chart. So, whatever time you were born, whatever constellation was rising on the eastern horizon marks the beginning of what's called your first house. And in that circle, you're gonna see 12 pieces of pie. Those are 12 houses. Each house represents a different area of our life. Okay, so we have the planet, what is the archetype, what is the energetic experience of our ego, the sun? How does it express itself? The sign it's in, and where in our life is that going to really shine? What house is it in? So you were talking about your Aries son, right? Your Aries son is in the 10th house, the house of career. So you're gonna be seen, and people are gonna find you, and your work is going to be important to your identity in this life because your son is connected to your work in this life. Now, what does that mean? That's very personal for you, right? That's not to say you have to be out there, you have to be. Everybody has their own path, right? But we know with the son in the 10th, what your work or your sharing in the world, and this is one of the parental houses, fourth house and tenth house. Those are the houses of our parent parents, parental mom and dad. So sometimes I'll see a son in the 10th house, and I'll talk to somebody and they'll be like, Yeah, my life's work is being mom. I'm like, Yeah, makes sense. You know, maybe they don't have a job and they didn't want to work, or they're not interested in that. Their life's work is being mom. Or you might see the life's work, this is my career, this is what I'm building, this is what I'm working, this is kind of like my legacy, or the things that I want to share and leave here. Um, so the houses are areas of our life, and you'll see whatever the archetype planet is, um, and the house, it'll be a correlation to that energy. And some of us have planets in all houses, um, some people have five planets in one house. You might see a chart, and there's five planets, and they're all in the 11th house, the house of community. And so this soul, it's all about community and friends in this life. You know, you'll see everything is beautiful in the chart. In astrology, we say nothing is good or bad, and there are zero coincidences, everything is purpose and energy, always.

SPEAKER_02

Wow. This it's it's just, I feel like everything that you're saying is making me really understand the map. And I'm such a pattern person that the way that you break it down, even when you were saying like the wheel stops or starts, I guess you could say, the moment the the time that you're born, that made so much sense for me. For some reason, what I was seeing is like, you know, when you go to like arcade kind of thing and you like pull down the wheel and then it spins to see like what number you get, you know? Like it was just such a cool way to kind of say that of like this is when it starts. And I appreciate what you were saying about the time because I don't know if I said this when we had our session together, but I never knew the time I was born until I turned 40. Or I think I was like just about to turn 40. I was 39, and we were cleaning out my mom's house a little bit, and all of a sudden we found like the um the youngest of seven, right? So, like all the birth certificates, and I'm going through it, and I couldn't, I mean, I literally could not believe my eyes. Like, I was like, I cannot believe I just found out the time I was born, right? Amazing, and it took 39 years like the lost information. So I love that you started by saying that because you know, I personally know what it's like to not have the time you were born. What's also fascinating, and I just want to share this with you, not for any reason, but my kids were born at the exact same time, and not on coincidence. But the exact same time, same place, same doctor, same time, not the same day, but just like wild that when you said I was like, oh my goodness, how crazy that like that time is so important.

SPEAKER_00

So they have the same same rising sign.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Just so interesting. Wild. It's just I'll have to like look into their stuff. Yeah, yeah. My friend Annabelle is always telling me to do that, uh, because she just lit like you, to her life, she looks through the lens of astrology with everything.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, which I so much admire, and I feel like you're really inspiring me to do that right now, just from understanding. Um, so you know, I know we have to start wrapping up, but I wanted to ask you if this is even something that you would be open to doing or would even know. Is there anything that you could share about the current like emotional climate that we're in right now collectively, based off of astrology? Because you gave us so much potent information individually, which I'm so grateful for, because I feel like now people can go look into their stuff and then also find you so that you can help connect these dots. And I do want to say, just like how you started this by saying, you know, when I shared on Instagram that most people, when they do a reading with me, they cry, and how you were saying the same with you. I feel like that's what makes this so special and the work that you do so special. Because anyone or anything, whether it's AI, can can put these dots together, but only a human can create the resonance. And like the impact within the body, which is so different than like collecting information in the mind. So much when we collect in here, it stays there. But what you do is you c collect the information, the codes within the body, and help things to click in a way that it could never click if you just have the information through the head. So I just wanted to share that because I know, especially in the age of right now with AI, like it's so easy for us to do this in different ways to plug stuff in, but man, it's not retaining and it's not creating embodiment. And I feel like that's what you do, which is so a gift, such a gift, and thank you. Uh, and I would love to get that transmission collectively, whatever you would like to share, for people to just understand on a level of like where we are on a greater scale.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and that's I mean, such an important point you talk about because in a reading, when I'm talking to something, somebody, and I'm sure you have the same energy, I have a body resonance, you know, and I know and I've you know worked very hard to connect to that in a very pure way by spending one a lot of time in nature. So when I talk with somebody and they have something going on, and I have a full goosebum kunaluni resonant energy, I know it's their truth. So I know that what they're talking about is important, or we need to expand on, or we need to go deeper with, or I'm gonna ask questions about, and AI is not gonna do that. It's gonna give you information just you see like you said, and there's great tools, absolutely, tools for using. But when you want to go deeper into it, that's where the yeah, the magic really happens in this moment of us and our intelligent design. We are so much more intelligent than AI. People are like, it's so smart, AI, yeah, right.

SPEAKER_02

Sure it is. One level of intelligence.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, and processing information. Our intelligence, oh, it's not even matched. We are so incredibly magical and we live in this incredible realm. So I mean, it's just you know, it's really uh something to be honored and something to be um hold very dearly, all of that you humanity for what we are, and so I appreciate your comment for that because it is something that um happens in any intuitive reading or people coming from you, the things that you're channeling or you're connecting to or what's coming through you, that's like sacred, and that's coming from something between you and something that is at another level of we don't even know. I mean, you know, there's not what can we call it? You know, like it's just I call it just like pure magic, pure love, pure essence, whatever, all that is, you know, it's just there's so many cool words you can say from it, but it is a special, incredible um connectivity that is something that um we do just like you say, embody right in our body. The collective energy right now, whooe. I mean, it's wild out there. I mean, I mean, I'm in New York City, I live in Queens, and uh, you know, as there's an NBA playoffs going on, and there's a bar down the street, and the Knicks were last night and uh, and it was like and I was like, whoa, what's going on out there? Like, it's wild out there. So the time of this astrology, you know, you hear again a lot of stuff and a lot of collective things. The most important thing I want people to understand is when you did the beginning meditation and you help people to drop into your heart, that's where it's at for everything. To move through anything, to get through everything, at this time, we have to live centered in our heart. It's just the gonna it's gonna make so things so much easier on us. It's gonna help us to really be the best version of ourselves. It's staying centered in your heart. The collective astrology is you know, it's wild. We're about to go into two months in July and August of some super fantastic astrology. And you know, you'll hear that again. Oh, it's wild! This only happens. Well, when it's rare in the sky, rare things happen on Earth. It's just a correlation. So in July, and specifically uh the week of the 15, 16, 17, 18, and then when we get to July 19, there's a very rare configuration in the sky between Uranus, Pluto, Neptune, and Saturn. They just basically make a sacred triangle in the sky. That energy is mystical and magical, and we're starting to feel now in June this energy already presenting itself. What I interpret it as is a return to your essence, being your truth, and honoring what you came here to be. That's it. And this energy is gonna help take us to another level of that. It's gonna open our awareness more, we're gonna open our telepathic abilities more, our psychic awareness, our heart. And, you know, we'll we'll always see wild things kind of go out in the collective because that's what you know the game here on earth is there's going to be a lot of intensity from moving from a place of living through when you're talking about those lower chakras, talking about fear, talking about a lot of the lack, talking about a lot of the lower energetics, we're moving to a place to live back centered closer to our heart. So the collective energy in July, and then we have two eclipses in August, is a really amazing opportunity for all of us to just be real with ourselves, see where we're at, see where we want to be, and how can we kind of close more of those gaps? And that just means by showing up every day and doing what we can. We don't have to figure it all out, we don't have to know everything, we don't have to have a plan, but we just living to our truth and being centered in our heart, we're gonna move through some pretty extraordinary things that are gonna be out in the world. So the collective energy is a lot about just staying true. And I also have to say, anytime, and I'm sure as you know too, you live where nature is a little bit more accessible. Anytime you're feeling it, go out in nature. You know, put your feet in the earth, go for a walk, don't take your phone, look at the sky, talk to the birds, talk to the squirrels. I mean, they all have messages for us. The trees, the flowers. This is something that really will we talk about all these biohacks and nervous regulation. Nature, it's free, it's amazing, and it will shift your energy. So we're gonna go through some some pretty super fantastic years in astrology. I mean, it's just these are the times. There's gonna be a lot of stuff, but for us, it's coming back to our truth and our essence and living in our in our heart centered.

SPEAKER_02

Hmm. Yeah, the whole time you were speaking, it's so funny because like as you kept going, it made more and more sense because intuitively I just kept hearing connection, connection, connection. Yeah. And we're like, yeah, go into nature, listen to the birds, listen to the squirrels. And I was like, oh, you know, and obviously the heart chakra, as I'm sure you know, is one of the frequencies that it processes and holds is connection, is relationship. And it just sounded so true in what you were saying. It's not it's about connecting to yourself, it's about connecting to others everything, right? And knowing that we're all connected in that space. So oh my goodness, Leslie, this is fantastic. Thank you so much for your wisdom, man. Your transmission. Like, I am so excited to go look at my chart and just dive deeper because you just like I've said, I feel like multiple times now, you've just connected so many dots for me that I did not understand before. So thank you so much for everything for the reading that you gave me, you know, a few months ago. And I highly encourage everyone, like I started this podcast out. Leslie is apparently the person. She's just the person to go to, and I can attest to that from my own reading with her. And I'm sure now all of the listeners can tell just by listening to this. So thank you so much for being here. It was such an honor, and I hope to have you back soon.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you. Yes, anytime. I would love to come back. We can, you know, go deeper into so many aspects of it, and I just I love talking about it as you can tell. Yes. I know I did a lot of little chatty chatty, but it's just it's so it's just so cool, and it really is something that um yeah, I'm so honored and privileged, and I just feel so grateful that I get to um share, and thank you so much for supporting my work and having me an uh opportunity to talk about it.
