Hey guys, this is Major Henry Hastings, and welcome to the SMC podcast: Restoring Biblical Masculinity by Raising Up Modern Day Minutemen in the natural and spiritual realms. This is where we tackle real issues men face from leadership and purity to history, spiritual warfare, and discerning the times at hand like the sons of Issachar. So you can stand in the gap at a moment's notice. Let's get into it. All right, guys, our scriptural anchors for today, Proverbs 31, 25. She is clothed with strength and dignity. She can laugh at the days to come. Awake, awake, Deborah. Awake, awake, sing a song. Arise, Barak, and lead your captives away. That's from Judges chapter five, verse twelve. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this. Esther chapter four verse fourteen. In every generation God raises up women of courage, women who refuse passivity, who hear the cry of heaven, and who move with boldness when men hesitate. We call them Deborah's, Esther's, and Jones of Ark, women forged in faith and fire, whose obedience changed history. This isn't about competing with men, it's about completing the mission of God. Men of God build, women of God birth. Together they establish the kingdom in every generation. Weak men fear strong women, but strong men raise them. Men, this is your charge. Raise Deborah's, empower Esther's, and release Jones of Ark. Deborah was a prophetess, a judge, and a military leader in one of Israel's darkest times. When men hid in fear, she rose in faith. She didn't usurp authority, she answered a vacuum. She called Barak to battle and declared, has not the Lord commanded you? And when the victory came, the song of deliverance bore her name. Deborah didn't fight for position, she fought for her people. In the modern age, Debras are women who discern the voice of God, who carry motherly authority, and who call forth courage in the men around them. They don't replace warriors, they awaken them. Esther was a young orphan girl who became queen of Persia, but her crown wasn't for comfort, it was for confrontation. When her people faced annihilation, Esther risked her life to stand before the king, declaring, If I perish, I perish. That one act of intercession saved a nation. Esther's story reveals that beauty without bravery is empty. God raises Esther's in every generation, women with influence, purity, and courage to confront injustice, speak truth, and protect the innocent. A true queen doesn't flaunt her position. She uses it to deliver her people. So gentlemen, raise daughters who know that femininity and fire are not contradictions. Teach them that the highest beauty is found in holy bravery. Fast forward to fifteenth century, France, a teenage girl named Jean de Arc or Joan of Arc, hears the voice of God calling her to lead France's armies against oppression. She was a prophetess, while King's Coward and generals argued the seventeen year old farm girl rallied a nation. Her words still echo through history. I am not afraid, I was born to do this. She was eventually captured and executed, but her obedience shifted the destiny of France and inspired generations of faith-driven courage. So heaven uses the unlikely to accomplish the impossible. Joan of Arc reminds us that courage is not confined by gender, title, or age. It's birthed in and by conviction. Guys, this is where the mission expands. We aren't just called to be warriors. We're called to raise them. Raise daughters who know the truth in a culture of lies. Raise wives who are your allies in mission, not your rivals. Raise women of the word, not of the world. When the church silences its Debras and sidelines its Esters, darkness advances unchecked. But when men and women unite under one king, tyranny trembles. The enemy fears a generation where fathers and daughters fight side by side. We must teach our girls that holiness and heroism belong in the same sentence. That they were born for such a time as this. Look around, guys. This generation needs warrior women again. The spirit of Jezebel has multiplied, but so will the spirit of Deborah. It's time to champion our sisters, our wives, and our daughters to call forth the lionesses of the kingdom, because when the Esters intercede and the Debras prophesy, and the Jones of Ark take the field, the kingdom truly advances. So raise women who know the word, hear the voice of God, and wield the sword of the Spirit. This is the new frontier of leadership, raising up righteous women of valor for a world in need of deliverance. In Jesus' name, amen. Thanks for tuning in to the SMC Podcast.
