Nancy Volante, MFA The Whispering Soul
Welcome to The Whispering Soul—a space for stillness in a noisy world.
I’m a humanistic and intuitive astrologer, and this podcast is my offering of presence, reflection, and emotional honesty. Here, we slow down together to listen for what is often overlooked—the quiet truths, the tender thoughts, and the inner wisdom that rarely gets spoken aloud.
Each episode invites you into conversations and soulful reflections rooted in Astrology Wellness Coaching, creative exploration, and the journey toward wholeness. This is not about prediction—it’s about presence. Not about fixing yourself—but about understanding yourself more deeply.
This is a sacred space for feeling, because to feel is to heal.
You are welcome here just as you are.
Stay curious. Listen inwardly.
You are not alone.

Welcome to the Whispering Soul, where we explore the rhythms of nature, the movement of the cosmos, and the quiet unfolding of who we are becoming. My name is Nancy Vellante, and I'm an certified wellness coach and astrologer. And I've been contemplating all week as I in my meditations and in my writing about the word unfolding and what that means, what that feels like. You know, we're in a very accelerated time astrologically. And this podcast today won't be too much astrological information, but it is the intention and the energy of what Aries is about, because Aries is the beginning of spring. So I'm thinking of this spring as unfolding. So I wanted to share with you what I wrote. So just sit back, take a breath in. In fact, let's take a breath in together. I've been doing that in the beginning of the podcast lately, and I like that. It's a connection, a way of creating community. So with your feet on the floor, whether you're sitting, your back is on, you know, against a chair, or if you're laying down, wherever that is, feel the body parts that are touching the surface, the ground beneath you, that sustains you and holds you. And with that, take a nice breath in through the nostrils, all the way from the belly, all the way up through the solar plexus, through the heart space, into the throat, all the way through your face, relaxing the jaw so the tongue is at the top of the mouth, in front of your front teeth, and all the way through the top of the head. And with that exhale, let that breath just flow over your body and back down into the floor. And as we feel that, we breathe naturally in and out, consciousness unfolds like a blanket, layer by layer, softly revealing what has been hidden.
SPEAKER_00Not to deceive us, but to protect the sacredness of truth.
SPEAKER_01Because truth cannot be forced open. It must be met in its own timing.
SPEAKER_00And without unfolding, truth remains untouched.
SPEAKER_01Wisdom, knowledge, energy, all waiting beneath the surface, ready to heal on all levels. We don't always have language for this.
SPEAKER_00But let's be real.
SPEAKER_01It's hard to stay open, to keep unfolding in a world shaped by duality, where emotions pull us apart, where habits anchor us, where stories repeat until we forgot we are the authors. Still, we are asked to choose to align, not with fear, not with fragmentation, but with the soul's quiet journey toward wholeness. And that path is not polished, it's rugged, sometimes smooth, yes, but often uneven, unpredictable, demanding something real from us. Because unfolding is not passive. It asks us to feel deeply, to move honestly, to sit with discomfort long enough for it to become transformation. And in that mess, because yes, it is messy, something sacred happens. Just like in nature. Growth doesn't arrive clean.
SPEAKER_00And still it becomes beautiful.
SPEAKER_01Everything we experience, the hard choices, the heavy feelings, the moments we wish we could skip, none of it is wasted.
SPEAKER_00All of it feeds the soul.
SPEAKER_01This is the grindstone, the griss for the mill, where resilience is forged, not just in the mind, but in the body, in the spirit, in the quiet spaces where we almost gave up but didn't. Because even breakdown carries the blueprint of breakthrough. Even weakness holds the seed of wisdom and emotions.
SPEAKER_00They're not interruptions. They are texture, flavor, movement. They shape our state of being. They guide us if we let them.
SPEAKER_01Because suppression doesn't silence truth, it stores it in the nervous system, in the body, in the spaces that tighten when we refuse to feel. But when we allow, when we let things rise, move, breathe, we create space again.
SPEAKER_00Space for alignment.
SPEAKER_01Space for clarity, space for life to speak through us. Unfolding is not losing yourself. It's remembering in deeper, fuller, more honest ways who you've always been. It's a return to authenticity that isn't forced but revealed. And there is a rhythm to it, a quiet pulse of acceptance that carries you forward like a flower, unfurling from the tight bud into color, into scent, into presence. Nothing rushed, nothing wasted, just expression in its purest form. So listen, feel, accept, move again and again. This is the practice. This is the path.
SPEAKER_00And when you stay with it, when you trust the unfolding, what emerges is love. Not as an idea, but as an embodied truth.
SPEAKER_01Exhale through your mouth together.
SPEAKER_00Thank you for listening.
SPEAKER_01I sat on that actually since um since Saturday, you know, just trying to feel what it means to unfold. And it's not easy. It's not. It's hard, but it's worth it. And we do it over and over and over again. As long as we're here, we're going to do it. Maybe we become more consciousness, conscious of it with consciousness. Maybe we have a mindful practice that helps us get through. But again, with honesty, life is a zigzag. And to me, no matter how much work you've done in the healing field, in the field of psychology, in contemplation, meditation, all the most beautiful practices that are at our fingertips, we will still go through ups and downs.
SPEAKER_00That's the rhythm. That's the movement. That's the acceptance.
SPEAKER_01Not to be shamed, and if we do feel shamed, using that as a way of becoming initiated more into who we are with self-worth and self-love. I really love the word unfolding. I want to continue meditating with that and um watch what happens. I have a lot of roses in my garden. So this year I'm going to uh I like watching because out of any, for me, out of any flower, I feel like like the rose really does unfold because there's so many petals. So I'm going to be watching that in uh connecting to that part of nature for uh the spring into the summer. Anyways, again, thank you for listening. And um this was a a piece that really means a lot to me, and I'm so happy to be able to share it. Um I haven't said this at the end of my podcasts, but I'm gonna say it this time. Um, if you would like to get a hold of me, my website is thewisperingsoul.net. I am on Instagram, the Whispering Soul Astrology, and I'm also on Substack. So I'd love to connect. I love building uh community, and um I hope to see you soon. Wherever you are, have a great night, have a great morning, and keep unfolding. As fast or as slow, there's no time. Just be you. Take care.
