Welcome to the Whispering Soul, where we explore the rhythms of nature, the movement of the cosmos, and the unfolding of who we are becoming. My name is Nancy Vellante, and I am an certified wellness coach and astrologer. And today I wanted to come on and talk about the new moon in Aries on April 17th. And wow, what a new moon, a lot of energy with this full moon. We have seven planets all together in Aries. So that is a very big stellum. Of course, it's the moon and the sun, which are luminaries. We have Chiron, Saturn, Mars, Mercury, and Neptune. So that's quite a lineup, and it's very much a parade of energies that are guiding us towards a new beginning. But not a new beginning without looking inwardly first. Saturn, foundation, Mars, our desire and our will. Mercury, how will we communicate? And Neptune, what is it that needs to be dissolved in order to bring in a reality of spirituality, creativity, and inspiration? We have Chiron, which is so beautiful right now in this new beginning in Aries, Chiron in Aries, of healing, healing what is inside and in relationship to the outer world. And then, of course, again, we have our sun and our moon. So I want to start out with perfection. Perfection was never the goal, it is an illusion to outgrow. Wholeness is not fixing, refining, or becoming better. I'm learning that so deeply in my life right now. Not to fix. That's so hard. But this new moon in Aries is reminding us that wholeness begins with courage, not control. Aries doesn't wait to be ready.

SPEAKER_00

It moves, it initiates, it trusts the first spark.

SPEAKER_01

It seeks to embody identity and communicate the vision with authenticity. And our identity can change as we grow. It becomes more of a deeper experience in how we express ourselves. And maybe that's the medicine. Not perfection, but permission to begin exactly where I am, the most beautiful mantra of Aries, the first house where Aries house, that's excuse me, that's Aries' house in the zodiac sign. And that house says, I am. It's the beginning of individuation over and over and over again to who we are in the present. So our perfections become a portal, a doorway, raw, alive, honest spaces, where the mind, body, spirit, soul meet without armor. Lack only exists when we cling to old identities. Stories shaped by fear that once protected us, but now keep us from expanding. So when we cling to our old identities and our fears that once shaped us, we lose track of who we are. We do get lost. But you know, those fears and identities, we don't want to say they weren't needed because they were at that point in time in our development, right? They protected us, they guided us. But we have to become mindful and conscious when to expand and let go so we can gain a greater and wider perspective of not only ourselves but others. So this new moon suggests letting go of the pressure to get it right. We can be mindful of the pressure. Definitely. That's what gives us the impetus to move forward and then choose to move instead.

SPEAKER_00

Because Aries energy doesn't ask, am I whole yet?

SPEAKER_01

It asks, am I willing to start? This is the return to instinct, to fire.

SPEAKER_00

Aries is the fire element, the creator.

SPEAKER_01

To a new identity that embraces the independence, Aries, of exploring who we truly can be. Every version of ourselves, every lived experience counts culturally, emotionally, and intellectually. These are imprinted within a larger web of how we navigate our becoming, our growth, our potential. Aries does not reject this complexity. It activates it. It takes all that we are, every part of us, the clarity and the confusion, the confidence and the doubt, and says, move anyway.

SPEAKER_00

This is where the idea of wholeness can shift.

SPEAKER_01

We are not moving toward wholeness through correction, so to speak, more of a shift. We are expressing wholeness through participation, through action, through presence, through the courage to engage with life as it is unfolding here, right now. Even the past begins to soften under these lenses of perception, of feeling, of reflection. We no longer return to fix ourselves or to measure our distance from perfection. We've all done that. I raised my hand two, three, four times. What a lesson that is. But we return with awareness to gather insight, to reclaim energy, to integrate. So important.

SPEAKER_00

Integration. And then, like Aries, not recklessly, but instinctively. This is intelligence in this kind of movement.

SPEAKER_01

Excuse me, let me repeat. There is intelligence in this kind of movement. There's a somatic knowing, a deep internal alignment that we strive to connect with. This cannot be assessed through overthinking alone. This is the dance between ego and soul. And an ego that is placed in a well-nourished body and nourished on all levels, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually. Then the soul can shine through and express all of what is needed in order to be authentic. So during this new moon, let's not become perfect. Easier said than done. Let's not compare to the other. Because with this new moon in Aries and always with Aries, the polarity point is Libra. And that will always be in the zodiac wheel. And Libra says, balance. Libra says, communicate with a sense of justice. So they're always playing off one another. Aries ruled by Mars. Libra ruled by Venus. Yin and Yang. Divine masculine Mars, divine feminine, Venus. So during this full moon, again, let's not become perfect. Let's become brave enough to trust our own intuition, our own instinctiveness, our own challenges to move forward within the body. Planting a seed thought for a new beginning as we loosen our grip on the past is very fruitful for this new moon. As new moons are, we plant, I like to say, plant new seed thoughts for a new beginning in this cycle from the new moon to the full moon of what we want, what we want to express, what we want to do, maybe what a goal is, what our mindset is. There's many different ways to perceive a new beginning. So these cycles in astrology, to me, are like the ripples in a pond. So you throw the pebble in. The first one is, you know, the moon cycle. It's, it's, it, it goes every 28, 29 days, right? And then the cycles from there get wider and wider. They have more time in between in order to cultivate what it is we need to cultivate to be whole or to be our authentic soul selves. But the moon is always there supporting us. Sun and moon always supporting us in the faster cycles that really allow food for thought, food for body, food for our spiritual becoming and our emotional transformations, and quieting the mental side of ourselves so we don't overthink. So I'm going to leave you with that today. Planting a seed thought. This is a beautiful new moon, and some astrologers, including myself, maybe think, I'm going to say maybe because nothing is written in stone, this could be the most powerful new moon of the year. It's a threshold, it's a pivot point. It's a place where we can create change. Not just today, tomorrow, or the next, but walking towards that, as I always say, one step at a time. Aries does like to be in a rush, but we like, Libra says, slow down a little bit, the polarity point. Let's just we're not going to stay stagnant because Aries does not want that. That will cause frustration. But move with a pace that nourishes your nervous system. So let's take a breath here to end. And then exhale through the mouth. All the way down to your feet. Because Aries is the body. So if you say to yourself, I am, go ahead and finish that. I am creative. I am loving. I am abundant. Whatever it is for you, and it can change daily. So with that, many blessings on this new moon, and I will talk to you soon wherever you are in the world. Take care. I just wanted to add, in my imperfection, I had said twice in this podcast that we were having a full moon. And of course, we are having a new moon. So I didn't want to edit because I don't like to edit, but I just wanted to make a um a little uh note there that uh my imperfection came through, and I just love it. Food for the soul. Thank you. Have a great day.
