Welcome back to the Whispering Soul Podcast. Hi, my name is Nancy Vellante, and I'm an astrologer and a certified wellness coach. So I've been thinking about and reflecting on intention, on spiritual trust, and the collective shift many of us seem to be moving through right now. Through the Pisces Virgo nodal axis, which I'll explain, alongside the conjunction which is happening very soon this week between Uranus and the sun in Gemini. Yeah, I keep thinking about what intention actually is. Not just an idea or a mindset, but something much deeper. Intention feels almost like a seed to me, a quiet internal movement that gathers energy over time. A thought becomes a feeling, a feeling becomes a vision. A vision becomes action, connection, creativity, and self-expression. Before we can fully realize this, intention begins shaping the direction of our lives right from the get-go. Because intention is never only mental. It carries energy, it carries consciousness. It influences the way we relate to ourselves and the way we move through relationships and the way we create meaning through our experiences every day. And we look back on those experiences, those experiences. We might want to look forward and then be in the present. It's such a dance. But over time it becomes an invisible thread between who we are and where life is trying to lead us. Because I do believe that life does lead us, right? I mean, I think we probably all believe that on some level, even though when it gets a little tough, it uh doesn't look like anything's leading us, but there's always something to look at in a positive way, even through the ups and downs. It all is food for thought, food for feeling, food for embodying who we truly are and who we want to become. So sometimes our intentions create healing, and sometimes they reveal where healing is still needed. I experienced this last week to this week. I don't know, the time is all running together, so I don't know. But I I really love that. And I and it was revealed, yeah, there's still some healing to do for me, you know, around my self-expression, my new self-expression, you know, from owning a yoga studio, before that being a professional dancer and theater artist, and now to really what I love. I've always written, but now to writing and speaking, which I love. Not always easy. And there is some fear that comes with that, I'm not gonna lie. I think that's important to acknowledge because intention has layers. There are intentions rooted in fear, control, performance, and survival. And there are intentions rooted in authenticity, compassion, trust, and presence. The energy beneath our choices matters. And that's something that, as I was reflecting on that really became deeper for me. That my choices really do matter, even if sometimes they're not the right choices, other times they're great, they all matter because they all are going to some form of purpose if we can catch it. And maybe that's why intention becomes such a mirror for self-awareness. It asks us to look honestly at ourselves and ask, what am I actually feeding with my energy every, excuse me, every day? What am I actually feeding with my energy every day? I've been looking at that through what I eat. You know, my my eating habits have become different over the last, I would say, four years, maybe sometimes lighter, um, not a lot of meat. But then lately I've wanted more meat because my energy, my nervous system needed that type of grounding. I try to get the best I can, of course. What am I building my life around? I love that. I want to do more writing around that. I did a little bit this week. What am I building my life around? My sole purpose, my relationships, my alone time, retreat. And it's all of it, I would, I would guess, at different moments, one is stronger than the other. What stories I'm uh am I reinforcing through my thoughts? Yeah, you know, yesterday I had this like like this story going through my head, and I was like, wait a minute, let's stop here. This is an old story, and why? It doesn't even make sense anymore. It's an old one where it had some purpose, but it's not there anymore. So we have to cleanse the mind of these thoughts. It's so hard sometimes, but it's truly can be a blessing. So reinforcing through thoughts, through routines, through relationships, and through reactions. Now we can't do it all at once because for me that would be overwhelming. So we pick and choose. The body, the mind, the soul tells you, it'll tell you, it'll come up listening, feeling, trusting. Because remaining, excuse me, because remaining aligned with intention is not always graceful or linear. There are periods when we question everything. I know I'm a I I I really question a lot. I'm a big why person. Sometimes the why just doesn't exist. Sometimes it's about accepting. Moments when the vision becomes unclear. Moments when life moves in ways we didn't plan for. And suddenly we're forced to confront uncertainty instead of controlling it. And honestly, that feels deeply connected to this Pisces Virgo nodal axis we're moving through collectively. Virgo energy often seeks certainty. I have my Pluto and Virgo in the ninth house. I want certainty. And I'm just realizing that I'm learning that I want to, I wanted to control what I was maybe teaching and you know what I believed in. And so it had a routine. But it's in Pluto, so it must transform. I think I'm really getting that. So then I can use Virgo, not well, embody Virgo to connect mind, body, and soul. This is what I'm working on right now. That Virgo energy wants order, wants answers. Ah, that's where the Y comes in. Wants structure, tangible proof that things are working. I needed that. I'm just speaking of my experiencing experience with um South Node in Virgo, right? And that's about releasing. That's and these nodes are very karmic, right? So the South Node is about releasing what no longer you really need, but you don't throw it away, you bring it with you. I love tangible proof that things are working, and it doesn't always happen that way. It really doesn't. So in that South Node Virgo, the shadow expression can become hyper-focused on fixing, analyzing, improving, correcting. We all have it somewhere in our chart. Trying to create safety through control. Hmm. I don't know if that always works. I think many of us know what that feels like emotionally. I really do. Trying to overmanage life becomes uncertainty. Feels uncomfortable. So that uncertainty, when we manage, whether we realize it or not, it does become uncomfortable because it's like it's like putting, you know, a round peg into a square hole, right? I think I got that right. Usually I don't get those right, but I think I got that right. But Pisces asks something very different of us, and that's the north node. So you have the south node in Virgo right now, north node in Pisces. South node is where we feel comfortable, what we know, what we've done in our past, maybe past life. But now the energy is pushing that towards the north node of soul growth, which is Pisces. They are balancing each other because they're always in polarity with each other. But Pisces is asking us to trust, to surrender, to soften our grip on perfection and allow ourselves to exist inside the unknown without needing immediate answers for everything. Oh boy. That's a hard one. It's something that you have to work at every day. But it reminds us that intuition, spirituality, creativity, and emotional connection cannot always be measured logically. We have a right brain and a left brain. Right brain is the creative part, left brain is the analytical, the logical. We need both. We need to dance with both to feel the wholeness of what we can accomplish, what we can relate to. And that can feel deeply uncomfortable in a world that constantly pressures us to explain, optimize, and control every aspect of ourselves. Honestly, it's exhausting. Right? But the deeper lesson of Pisces and Virgo is not about choosing one over the other. I'm talking about how they balance each other out. It's about integration, the weaving together, creating a tapestry. It's also about learning how to bring intuition into our daily life. I love that. And I do do that. But I also got to, you know, think about the controlling side of myself as well, right? How do you bring those two together? It's a dance. How do you bring compassion into communication? How to bring spirituality into ordinary routines and human interactions. Because healing doesn't always happen in profound spiritual moments. It really doesn't. Sometimes healing happens in very small ways. In the way we speak to ourselves, the way we care for our bodies, the way we allow ourselves to rest, the way we show up for another person, with presence instead of performance. I love that one. I love that. And while all this is unfolding, there's another energetic shift approaching us this week that feels impossible to ignore. I think they go really well together in my perspective. So on May 22nd, 2026, Uranus and the Sun meet in Gemini. This is called a Cassimi, where Uranus will be in the heart of the sun in Gemini. And this energy feels incredibly illuminating because it's the sun. Almost like sudden awareness moving through the nervous system. Uranus. Lightning. Uranus tends to disrupt stagnation. You know, that's a good thing. Doesn't feel great. It breaks apart outdated patterns, inherited thinking, and intellectual loops we not even realize we've been living in. That South Old and Virgo can be holding those, right? And when the sun joins Uranus, there's often a heightened awareness around identity, truth, the consciousness itself. Something comes into focus, whether it feels comfortable or not, whether it means anything at that moment, it's there. It's a realization, a sudden clarity around whom we are becoming, and what no longer aligns with the version of ourselves. The last time Iran has moved through Gemini was in the 1940s, radio TV, a period that radically transformed communication, technology, information, and the collective consciousness. We became more connected in a new way. Now we're entering another chapter in which humanity's relationship with communication, identity, perception, and truth is rapidly evolving once more. I think it's exciting. Gemini governs thought, language, information, storytelling, and perception. I really love Gemini. I have my Chiron and son in Aquarius in the third house, and I'm just learning so much right now, and I'm very grateful to that. Doesn't feel great all the time, but I am my intention is to continue. It governs the narratives we build around ourselves and around reality itself. Uranus arrives as a disruptor, challenging those narratives and asking whether they still reflect who we truly are. Maybe that's part of the deeper collective shift happening right now. Not simply trying to manifest a different life externally, but becoming honest enough internally to embody something new. That's innovation. That's evolving. Releasing identities that no longer feel authentic, it's okay. It's change. It's how we grow. Hard to let go of those, though, because you're in the unknown for a while, for a moment, in the mystery. Pisces. Releasing versions of ourselves built around survival, approval, fear, or performance. Because eventually there comes a moment when transformation stops being theoretical. The vision itself becomes the initiation. The intention is the initiation. The initiation is the intention. Life starts asking us not just to imagine change, but to live it. And that many people can feel as acceleration right now. Especially mutable signs like Gemini, Virgo, Pisces, and Sagittarius, because they're all mutable, which means they're adaptable, flexible, open. But honestly, this energy reaches beyond astrology. Beyond. There's a sense that something is shifting beneath the surface collectively. Old systems, old identities, old ways of thinking no longer hold the same energy as they once did. And clarity doesn't always arrive gently, right? Sometimes it arrives through disruption. I've used that word a few times because at Uranus and Gemini, Uranus will do that in order to push us forward. And that disruption includes endings, difficult conversations, unexpected changes that force us to see ourselves and our lives differently. Because intention is not only about what we hope to create. I feel that in my solar plexus as I say that. And maybe that's the real lesson unfolding beneath all of this as my energy changes in this moment. Learning to live intentionally enough that our inner and outer worlds begin speaking the same language. Learning to move through life with more honesty, more awareness, more compassion, the more trust in what is unfolding, and more trust in what is unfolding. Even when we cannot fully see where it's leading yet. You know, I'm on a new path. I really don't know where it's leading with doing the podcasting. I'm writing a lot more than I ever have, beginning to really network in different groups. Boy, and and I really resisted for a long time. And I it was it was easier to release than to hang on. Sometimes this feels like it's rearranging everything individually and collectively. So that invitation isn't to force certainty before moving forward, but simply to remain present enough to recognize transformation as it happens. It's an ongoing thing. It's like life every day. We breathe, we move, we experience, we eat, we sleep, we rest if we can. Some people can't. They need the support of humanity, of friends, of loved ones. It's so important right now. I'm gonna leave you with that today. And let's take a breath together. So let's inhale. Exhale. I really enjoyed sharing this with you today. And I want to thank you for being here with me. I want to thank you for listening. You know, you don't know. Oh, is somebody really listening? Or am I just speaking? And you know what? If I am, then I'm healing. I'm healing what I'm supposed to heal. But again, thank you so much for listening to the Whispering Soul Podcast. Until next time, trust what is unfolding.
