The sacred shift from becoming to belonging. We are moving from healing identity to healing worthiness. That becomes the thread connecting Chiron's move into Taurus, the solstice, and the sun trining the north node. Welcome back to the Whispering Soul. My name is Nancy Vellante, and I am an astrologer and certified wellness coach. So over the past week, we've crossed several significant thresholds. Chiron, often known as the wounded healer, or I'd like to say the medicine man or woman, completed an eight-year journey through Aries and entered Taurus on June 19th, 2026. We moved through the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere, the winter solstice in the southern hemisphere, and the beginning of cancer season. And now find ourselves this week in a quieter space before Mercury stations retrograde on June 29th. And on the same day, Jupiter enters Leo, which I really like. There is a feeling that we are standing between chapters, between portals, if you will, not rushing into the next one, not fully attached to the last one.

Just standing in the doorway taking a breath, reflecting, pausing.

I want to begin with Chiron because I view Chiron a little differently. While Chiron is associated with wounds, and it is, I don't believe its purpose is to keep us focused on pain. I believe Chiron invites us to understand the wisdom within our experiences of our pain, our trauma, what maybe has made us not feel like we belong or feel like we're worthy. So it's teaching us that healing is not about bypassing what hurts, not at all. It's about moving through it consciously enough to discover the gifts hidden inside. So for the last eight years, Chiron traveled through Aries, fire sign. Aries is the archetype of identity, courage, independence, and self-definition. During this cycle, many of us were challenged to discover who we truly are beneath expectations, roles, and conditioning. We learned lessons about speaking up, taking up space, trusting ourselves and honoring ourselves. It was quite uh quite a big eight years, right? We went through COVID during those eight years. Um we went through a lot. I know I went through a lot of discovering who what is my identity? How am I going to bring myself into a place where I truly feel authentic? Because again, that's when I had my studio. And I really had to work on that in order to make it successful, um, in order to build community. So it was a lot of work in that area of identity in the I am mantra. So for some, that looked like becoming more independent. For others, it might look like reclaiming a voice that had been silenced. That's what it was for me. I have to tell you, I really did reclaim my voice. And I still am in doing these podcasts really with heart and soul. I think our voice is very important in the world. We everybody has something to say that's going to make a difference, in my opinion. For many, it involved learning that authenticity is not selfish. No, it is necessary. The question Chiron in Aries asked was: Who are you when you stop asking permission to be yourself? Big question there. Now the landscape is going to change. Chiron moves into Taurus, an earth sign. So Aries was the first house I am. Taurus is the second house of manifesting. Also ruled by Venus. So we move from masculine Aries, outward expression of growth, to a more feminine, receptive experience of healing, the sacred feminine within all of us, men and women. The question here is no longer, who am I? The question now becomes: do I believe I am worthy? Worthy of love? Worthy of rest? Worthy of receiving, worthy of abundance, worthy of taking up space without proving my value first.

Taurus speaks the language of the body.

SPEAKER_01

Taurus teaches through the sensations we feel in our body, what I call the body language, the body consciousness, through our senses, through presence, through what we feel rather than what we think. This is one reason I believe Chiron and Taurus will be deeply connected to body consciousness and somatic awareness in the next eight years. I think that holistic healing practices are really going to come online more than they have been and taken very seriously. Energy healing, Reiki, somatic movement, hypnotherapy, which is something that I'm, excuse me, just experiencing and really love. It communicates through tension, relaxation, intuition, desire, discomfort, and peace.

SPEAKER_00

The question is whether are we listening to the body language?

SPEAKER_01

Are we listening through the cells of our body, through the DNA? So over the coming years, Chiron and Taurus will invite us to heal our relationship with self-worth, with our security, with the resources that we are working with and can work with and connect with, and our stability, the sustainability of what we want, what we desire, what our identity embodies. Not by forcing certainty, and that's hard. I know a lot of times I really want to force, you know, the uncertainty is really uncomfortable. I want to know what's going on, where I'm going. But that's not growth. I'm learning that so deeply. So without forcing certainty, we can discover what truly creates a sense of safety from within. Because authentic stability is never built on what can be taken away. It is built on our relationship with ourselves. That's huge. The relationship with ourselves. And that's Chiron is going to be teaching us that for the next seven to eight years. Won't be comfortable, but it's going to increase the way that we feel about ourselves first, and then we can give, and then we can manifest, and then we can connect in relationships that mean something to us, that have value to what we want to express and build. So as we enter this new chapter, we are also supported by a beautiful aspect this week. Remember, we're just entering it, and the universe is giving us this transit. The aspect is a trine. So the sun in Cancer forming a trine to the north node in Pisces. And we're just about ready to move from the north node in Pisces to the North Node in Aquarius in July. So we get a whole nother chance to understand how we're evolving collectively towards that north node in Pisces and personally. So the north node represents the direction of our soul's growth. The south node represents familiar territory, the habits we have, the strengths that we know, the practices that we've become really good at, and the wisdom that we have within those practices that we've mastered, that expression that we've mastered. We don't throw anything away. And right now, the South Note is in Virgo. And so what that is teaching us, that Virgo wants a plan, Virgo wants answers, Virgo wants to organize the future before taking the next step. I have Pluto in Virgo in the ninth house, and I'm just starting to get what this Virgo in Pluto is doing in my chart and how it's wanting to reorganize and change. But the North Node in Pisces, the polarity point to that, asks something completely and entirely different. So the North Node in Pisces asks for trust. It asks us to have faith. It asks us to surrender to what we cannot see yet. And that, my friends, may be the invitation of this entire week. But that's okay, right? You know, I had something happen in my life a couple weeks ago. It uh something just took a shift. It it turned the corner into something else. And so I was like, oh, wow, okay, it's okay for that to turn into something else and to end maybe, but I didn't feel like I got the communication to why, and I'm a big why person. So I really stimulated in my chart that South Node transiting in Virgo. I had to figure it out. I wanted answers. I needed to know what was going on for me to feel comfortable, and it wasn't going to happen. It still hasn't happened. So during the solstice, I allowed myself to surrender. I'm still feeling, I'm still feeling a little wobbly from it, a little, my feelings got hurt. Um, but I'm starting to see that I have to trust. I have to have faith. Because I have to believe that the universe is opening a door to something maybe bigger, something more creative, something more um in right relationship.

SPEAKER_00

Not to figure everything out.

SPEAKER_01

I I can't figure it out. We can't figure it out. Not to force again the next chapter, but to listen. So I've tried to listen this week through my emotions, just to allow to notice what is quietly calling your attention. That's why I feel like this week is quiet before all this, you know, the Mercury goes retrograde, Jupiter into Leo. You know, that's a big, you know, Jupiter and Leo, Leo is big, big energy. And we have the the Mercury retrograde in Cancer, you know, not so comfortable. Cancer, you know, Mercury's not so comfortable in Cancer. So Mercury, again, will go retrograde, but before it does, we are being offered a sacred pause. A moment to digest everything the first half of this year has taught us.

SPEAKER_00

What have you learned about yourself? What have you outgrown?

SPEAKER_01

What are you beginning to value differently? And what is trying to emerge through the uncertainty? That's what I'm really interested in this week. Perhaps the universe is not asking you to know, but perhaps is simply asking you to trust. This week, let your soul speak louder than your fear. Let your body tell you what feels true. And remember that healing is not about becoming someone else. It's about remembering the value, Taurus, of who you have been all along. It's there. Chiron is telling us, showing us that it's there. We have to bring it up, we have to nurture, we have to do some healing. So this week reminds us that we can pause in the threshold of all these changes. And, excuse me, we also have a full moon in Capricorn on the 27th. I hope I'm getting that right. So that full moon in Capricorn is asking us, well, what did we initiate or want to initiate in the new moon in Cancer? So now that new moon in Cancer, whatever we wanted if we did, and even if you didn't, it's still there. How do we bring that into Capricorn into a commitment, into a place of building a disciplined structure that holds our dream or dreams? So there's so much just to recap this beautiful summer solstice, the beginning of cancer season, holding us deeply in the womb of who we are, showing us the illumination of the full moon in Capricorn, what it is we can release in order to build again and create with our goals, our motivation, our morals into what it is our dreams are about. Then as we maybe hopefully feel this beautiful trying of the sun in Cancer to the North Node in Pisces, of regaining a sense of trust and faith and surrender to the uncertainty of growth and potential. And then that beautiful, I love Mercury retrogrades, that Mercury retrograde in Cancer will bring us back home to understand what it is that we need to reflect on and integrate. I believe that Mercury retrogrades are a point of integration. And then we start alongside this Mercury retrograde, the expansion of the heart, Leo, of self-expression, Leo, wherever that is in your chart. That's a lot, but it's a beautiful dance. And just take that dance one step at a time, feeling the rhythm. And when you don't feel the rhythm, come back to the breath.

SPEAKER_00

Come back to the breath.
