There are moments in life when it feels as though time is asking something of us.
Not to hurry.
Not to do more.

But to pause long enough to notice what is truly calling for our attention.
This is one of those moments.

As the Full Moon in Capricorn, Mercury retrograde in Cancer, and Jupiter's entrance into Leo weave together, we are invited to look honestly at where we've been, compassionately at where we are, and courageously at where we are being asked to grow.

Astrology doesn't tell us what will happen.
It offers us a mirror.

A chance to see ourselves more clearly.

Over the next year, Jupiter in Leo won't simply ask us to become bigger. It will ask us to become truer. To discover the difference between living from the ego that seeks approval and the heart that naturally inspires others simply by being authentic.

In today's podcast, I'm exploring what this remarkable season is inviting us to remember, what it may be asking us to release, and how the courage of the heart may become our greatest source of abundance.

Remembering what matters, Jupiter and Leo, and the courage to grow. Welcome to the Whispering Soul. Today we'll explore the wisdom of the stars, but not to predict your future, but to deepen your relationship with yourself, your soul, and the world around you. Hi, my name is Nancy Vellante, and I'm an astrologer and certified wellness coach. So this week feels like time is different to me. We have a lot of shifts that have gone on this week from planets into different archetypes or zodiac signs. So the clock moves faster sometimes. But life seems to gather our attention and asks us to notice what is unfolding beneath the surface when we feel these times shifting, when time seems to move faster, the clock is ticking faster. And again, this is one of those weeks, in my opinion. The full moon in Capricorn has invited us to take an honest look at the structure we've built our lives upon. I know that's a big one. It has asked us to examine the stories we've carried, the responsibilities we've accepted, and whether the past is quietly shaping the choices we're making today. I like that this full moon where the full moon was on Monday. It's now Wednesday. We feel that about five days before, five days after. So at the same time of this full moon in Capricorn, Mercury retrograding cancer is gently reminding us that healing isn't about pretending the past never happened. It's about returning to it with a new awareness. Sometimes we have to revisit an old conversation, an old wound, or an old belief, not to stay there, but to understand it differently. I definitely went through that this week and still I'm going through that. And I think I had mentioned something last week that I had a situation happen where there wasn't really any communication. I felt like I got ghosted, and I'm still feeling that. Why is this happening? What is it in me that has attracted this kind of communication, which was really not very clear? And that's okay. We need to know those differences. We don't grow by erasing our past, we grow by allowing it to teach us, and then something will shift. Jupiter enters Leo at zero degrees yesterday, beginning an entirely new twelve-month journey. I'm excited about this one. But whenever Jupiter changes signs, life asks a bigger question. What do you want to expand? Because Jupiter expands whatever it touches. If we are living from fear, compassion, or comparison, or the need for recognition, Jupiter can magnify those patterns just as easily as it magnifies joy, generosity, creativity, and love. Expansion itself isn't good or bad. It simply reveals what we're feeding ourselves, what we're taking in, and how we process that. Leo is often mistaken for seeking attention. And yes, Leo does like attention. But at its highest expression, what Leo teaches is something much deeper. It teaches the courage to live from the heart. Not the ego that constantly asks, do they see me? Do they hear me? But the heart that quietly asks, how can I shine in a way that helps others remember their own light? There is a profound difference in those two sentences, but they're both real. They both live within us. It's our choice of where to put our essence, our focus, our energy. We have to experience both. Over the coming year, we are being invited to discover that difference, that difference for ourselves. That difference of coming from the heart or coming from the ego. We do live in both, so we do experience both. And just as Jupiter begins this journey through Leo, another chapter waits on the horizon. At the end of July, the nodes of the moon, which I love, move into Aquarius and Leo, beginning an 18-month cycle of collective evolution. The South Node in Leo will ask us to let go of the need to build our identity slowly, excuse me, solely on personal validation. We all want to be validated, but it's how we come about that, how we process that, how we Leo self-express that. While the North Note in Aquarius gently encourages us towards community, collaboration, and a vision that includes everyone, from being an individual to bringing that individualness into the group. Notice this beautiful timing. This is what I love about astrology: timing. Jupiter is helping us strengthen our hearts in Leo, just as the South Node begins asking us to refine what true confidence actually looks like. So if you know your chart, or if you see an astrologer, or if you want a reading from me, you'd want to know where Jupiter is. Jupiter is in your chart and where Leo is in your chart. And that's the area of life that's being lit up for you the next 12 months. Real confidence isn't louder. Confidence, real from the inside out, becomes kinder, becomes more generous, more willing to share the right, excuse me, more willing to share the light rather than own it. Perhaps that is the invitation before us. We really don't own anything, do we? The only thing that we can own is our choices, our actions, our body inside and out, and how we relate to that and how we express that out into the world. Can we build a healthy I so that we can contribute a meaningful we? I as Leo, we as Aquarius. They're polarity points. They're always shifting and rebalancing and talking to each other to bring out the best that they can within that energy, that access point? Can we allow success to be measured not only by what we accumulate, but maybe by what we inspire? That's a whole different framework. Can abundance become something that begins in the heart before it ever appears in our circumstances in the material world. Transformation is rarely instant. It's a process, it's an unfolding through small choices made consistently over time. Jupiter doesn't simply bring luck. It's a benefic uh planet for sure. But Jupiter amplifies, please don't forget that. Jupiter amplifies what we are willing to cultivate. So over the next twelve months, may we cultivate courage over certainty.

Wisdom over approval.

SPEAKER_00

Wisdom, Jupiter, approval, Leo. Joy over performance. May we have the willingness to tell ourselves a new story. Not because the past didn't matter, it always matters. It's the teacher. But because we've allowed it to become our teacher instead of our prison. We don't want to get locked in the past. When we get locked in the past, that's when we become down. That's when we can become depressed. When we're in the future too much, we become anxious. So that sweet spot, and what life to me is about is finding that sweet spot, the presence. And we vacillate between all three past, present, future. That's the dance. That's the Trinity, the three.

SPEAKER_01

Perhaps that is the greatest abundance of all is dancing between existence, past, present, and future.

SPEAKER_00

Not simply having more, we don't want more, more, more. And we are really seeing that in our world. And I think we're seeing it, really seeing it in order to see what it can do, how it can separate us, how it can separate you from your soul self. So these beautiful transits this week, listen, they're they're not they're not um they're not easy, they're big. But they're asking us to become more of who we truly are. And I say this in all my podcasts because really that's the essence of everything, is why we're here is to become truly who we are. And again, I say this too, it's not easy. But if we can be together in right relationship, in collaboration, in building from the ground up, this new journey through the nodes for the next 18 months, which again begins in July, will teach us so much. You know, the stars don't decide who we become, they simply illuminate where our soul is asking us to grow. The rest belongs to us. We get to be the keeper of how we transform, of how we grow, of our choices. Sometimes they're right on, sometimes they're off. That's what I love about the wheel, the astrological wheel, which to me is a medicine wheel. It's creating balance. One end does not just go out on its own, it has another end. For instance, the Aquarius Leo axis, those polarity points there for the nodes. We're just coming out of Virgo, South Node, Pisces, North Node. We're feeling that very intensely now because it's at the end. What those two polarity points are asking of us. And they asked us to release control and to move more into the spiritual realm of not knowing and risking to trust the faith of the divine. So, with that said, I leave you today with many blessings. Have a great week wherever you are in the world, and always know that you're not alone.
