Mila was unable to prove that she had any injuries during the altercation, staff members say she was still eager to give Steffon his bday gifts and a video recording of her dancing right after the assault made her look crazy on that stand. Steffon ultimately won the case.
Thoughts?

SPEAKER_13

Hello, and thank you for watching and listening to another episode of The Pop Audacity with Kita Rose.

SPEAKER_12

I'm a single mom who works two jobs, who loves your kids, and never stops with gentle hands and the bottom.

SPEAKER_13

Here we dare to use our voices, have the audacity to own who we are, and vow, Rose of the Roses. We vow to never stop, never shrink. And most importantly, shut up. It's just not gonna happen. Like, share, subscribe, talk, shit in my comments. You know, tell me how you really feel. Hit that bell notification so I can pop up on your timeline. Why w you won't I say me? And hype this video up if you can. You guys, I you know what? First, I was thinking to myself, damn, poor Cardi. But then I was like, no, Cardi's doing good. Like Cardi has her hairline. Everybody cannot wait to buy Cardi's hairline, including me. I will be a part of the person purchasing some of that good grow hair. I think that's what it's called. Or is it called grow good hair? Regardless, I will be supporting that brand. Plus, she just finished, I believe she just finished, a tour. I don't know if she's still on it, but I think she was grossed at $30 million. So hopefully she's still on it and still racking up the money because she has four kids that she needs to feed. She's a single mom. By now, you've already seen that Stefan Diggs has won his case, his strangulation case. He had a strangulation case. Listen, Stefan had a busy year last year. We found out that he was popping out all those babies. And, you know, there was a couple of people that came out, men and women, unfortunately, came out saying that Stefan just it isn't so nice. Now, Mila didn't say, I don't know if it's Mila or Mila. Let me know in the comments. Mila didn't say whether or not he did anything, you know, sexual to her in a harassing way. In fact, quite the opposite. She said that they had a sexual and intimate relationship, but she also said that, you know, he was her employer. She would often cut off the lawyer and say things like, well, no, I wasn't demanding money from him. I was wanting, you know, unpaid wages. And this is why that whole business and pleasure thing is so freaking murky. It's so murky. Never mix business with pleasure. You're sitting up here and you're wanting us to feel bad for you. Now, I know a lot of women are gonna be like, oh my God, Keenan, are you not choosing a woman's side? Are you not believing all women? And honestly, it saddens me that in this case, I'm gonna say this sis was trying to get some money. She felt slighted. You know, she wasn't able, according to everybody else that's a part of his staff, that also slept with him. Oh, that reminds me.

SPEAKER_12

Everything that I said before and after this is a legend. I'm a legend, I'll be making up shit on my eye. Everything in this video episode is for satirical, educational, and entertainment purposes only.

SPEAKER_13

Allegedly, he was sleeping with more of his staff, right? He had a slew of women that were working for him that he was also having the uh, you know, opportunity to sleep with at the same time. So, according to those women, Mila was mad. I'm gonna call her Mila or Mila this whole time. I'm letting you know. According to those women, Mila was mad. She didn't get to go to Miami. She had matching outfits with Cardi planned. People were like, What?

SPEAKER_12

You had matching outfits with Cardi planned while you were riding on Stefan's meat sausage toe when you should have been slicing it up and throwing it in the in the bed. Talking about some chef.

SPEAKER_13

You want a damn chef? And you know what? I don't want to be rude. She might very well be a chef, but you know, this is what happens when you mix business with pleasure. So now you're mad at him and you can't do the things that the other girlfriends are getting to do, the other sister wives are getting to do. So you tell everybody that he strangled you. And honestly, I believed it. When the story came out, I was like, listen, he's under too much pressure. They were going to the Super Bowl, right? And so that might cause a lot of pressure. He kept popping out baby after baby after baby after baby. You got Nova, born in 2016, mother Tyler Marie, she's about nine or ten years old. You got Shiloh, born 2023. Mother is model Kennedy Moore, she's about two or three years old. You got Charlie Harper Diggs Loper, born in April 2025. Mother is Aileen Lopera, also known as Lord Giselle. She's about one year old. You got Wave, born in 2025. Mother is Keanu Barber, right? Less than a year old. You got Unnamed Daughter, born 2025. Mother is influencer Kay Benji. The child's name has not been publicly revealed, less than one year old. And then you got Baby Boy, born November 2025. Mother is Cardi B, about six months old. Okay? So you got three kids, three under three. Cardi is working. I believe that she is doing just fine. But I did. When I heard this story, I'm like, dang, he had a chef, right? As most rich people do. That's not surprising. He had a chef. He was mad, took his anger out on her, didn't want to pay her, sent her away. Some stuff going on with Cardi. Maybe he was hiding this and hiding that, and he didn't want, like, why? And I kept thinking to myself, why didn't he want the chef there? Why did he send her away just because Cardi was coming over? Like, what's the problem? And it turns out you're clapping cheeks. Also, the neighborhood talk posted a video of her dancing, just really breaking it down, breaking it down right after she claimed he had choked. Well, I won't say it was right after. We don't know exactly when that video came out, but she is happy. She is happy. She also said that after the altercation, she went down, gave him his birthday gift, because apparently it was around the time of his birthday, gave him his birthday gift, I guess, as a way of being like, well, I still love you, even though you've harmed me, maybe. I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt because it doesn't look right. All of this, none of this shit makes sense. None of it. The math isn't mathing. They said she was cooking shit like ramen, chicken pot pie, and hot dogs for $2,000 a week. Period, point blank. And you were getting your cheeks clapped. And we already heard how good he is from Cardi B in that song. She said he's so big and tall. My letum, uh-uh. Like he the ball. My let him dunk the coochie, like he dunk the ball. So yeah, we know he's putting it down. You're in a sweet position. You're in a good spot. But you're getting comfortable. You think you're bigger than the program, right? You're getting sent away because the girlfriend, the main girl, the more important girl, the celebrity, the superstar's coming over. And now you can't be there because you be tripping and sometimes you be acting out. And you, you know what? She strikes me. Again, we don't know these people. We weren't, we weren't there, so we don't know. But she strikes me as the type of person that wants the attention, right? In the room. So she's cooking and she's flipping. She's probably doing splits and shit and just doing, just doing the most. Like, look at me, look at me. I'm here. I matter. I'm I'm in the same group as all of y'all. And it's like, yeah, but everybody has a role. And you don't want to play your role. It says Mila Adams, full name Jamila Adams, met Stefan Diggs 2022 on Instagram. They became friends. At times described friends with benefits, meaning she was getting them cheap clap. And so is he. He was getting the benefit of having somebody like a stay-at-home wife. Here's the thing what people don't understand is a lot of men that have money that are well off will go ahead and they will build a right. So they'll you either find the one that can't stay faithful, like the Klay Thompsons out there that's gonna try everybody, every flavor, or you have the one that's like Stefan, which I believe is a little bit more smart. Let me know in the comments if I'm tripping. But if you're, you know, gonna be it and you're gonna play these games and the women around you are gonna be okay with it, you might as well go along with it. You might as well get it while the getting's good. And there are men like Stefan. Stefan will sit up there and be like, you're good at cooking and you have a fat ass. Yes, you're good at laundry and you have a fat ass. Yes. You're good at booking my flights and you have a fat ass. Plus, sometimes you cook when the other one can't. Yes. Come live with me in my mansion, and I'll just go door to door and just knock you all down for extra payment or tips or bonuses whenever you know you do a good job on your assignment. She had a good thing going. She did not mind the positioning she was in. It wasn't until Miami says everyone else, that's when she started to get upset. That's when she started to say things about Stefan. That's when she had all these problems, but she didn't say anything. Listen, if you're at work, even if you have this, like try to envision this real quick. Even if you are at a nine to five job just sitting by the water cooler, and all of you that's by the water cooler has slept with the boss. You guys are chattering about him. You guys are gossiping about him. You guys are talking shit about him when you want. You guys are fighting with each other about him. Sometimes there's a lot of things going on because you just mixed mess and chaos and whatever shit y'all had going on. In this case, it was employment, it was assisting him plus sex. You mean to tell me you didn't tell nobody that you're close with in the house? Like, hey girl, you know, Stefan just, yeah, he came over. He's gee, he hemmed me up. He put me in a full Nelson.

SPEAKER_01

I spun the nigga around and I put the nigga in the full Nelson. Because once the shots was going off, the two niggas was over there that was down there, pulled out the hammer, and the nigga right here pulls out the hammer. I said, I'm dead. But I had the nigga in the full Nelson. So now when these niggas is trying to shoot me, I'm aiming this mother nigga up to all the hammers. You know what I'm saying? So I must have had the nigga so tight, the nigga swung his body to the side, and that's how my shit was open, and he hit me. Boom bow. You know what I'm saying? So now I'm down. I'm down. So I guess his man came, and his man took the chain, took the chain off my neck and threw it. And when he threw it, I reached out and I grabbed the chain.

SPEAKER_13

I mean, imagine a sexual relationship that turned professional. Like, yeah, we're having sex, and you know, sometimes we fight and sometimes we bicker, but we're gonna take all that delusion, all that dysfunction, and we're gonna throw it into a professional setting and see if it works that way as well. It's not. It doesn't work in the relationship setting, right? It doesn't work in the relational setting. Why would it work in a professional setting?

SPEAKER_00

But Adams says things soured over her relationship with another Diggs staffer and when she was not included on a bi-week trip to Miami.

SPEAKER_03

Me and his girlfriend Cardi B, we were talking about having like outfits and stuff. It was like a whole thing being planned.

SPEAKER_00

In cross-examination, Diggs' defense began poking holes in the difference between Adams' testimony and the police report she filed two weeks after the alleged incident, including deleted text messages and no photographic evidence.

SPEAKER_13

And that's what did it for me, y'all. Let me tell you something. I don't care if I have a paper cut, I don't care if I have a the slightest injury ever. You can barely see it. I'm blowing that up. I'm taking a photo, I'm taking videos, you see this, you say this. This is what time and date this happened, this is the location, this is who did it, this is what he was wearing, Lord. Because I want everybody to know, you put your hands on me and you decided to pick on the wrong. I'm not the right one for you to play with. But in this case, she had no photo evidence. There was actually evidence of her dancing and having a great time. All of the staffers said she was just fine. And it wasn't until she couldn't go to this Miami trip, and it wasn't until she got into it with another woman that's allegedly sleeping with him that also works for him. He's running a brothel. It wasn't until then that's when she decided, you know what? My injuries were so much, I need to sue him for $5.5 million. Come on, mama. Shout out to I'm Not a Lawyer, but this page is what I'm getting my information from when it comes out to this uh lawsuit. When it comes to this lawsuit. I was in the bedroom.

SPEAKER_03

Mr. Diggs, he comes in. He he was he looks very angry. He was upset from the text exchange we were having. Was leaning against the dresser, he asked me to get up to come here. I got up off the bed and I came across to him and I stood in front of him, like I stood on the side of him. He was like, What was all that shit? You was talking. And I was beginning to say, you said, and I couldn't finish my statement. And he sat right hand, right side of my face.

SPEAKER_10

You know which part of your face got hit?

SPEAKER_03

The right side of my face. I went to try to like.

SPEAKER_10

And then what happened?

SPEAKER_03

Around my neck. What is hell? Around my neck. And he began to joke me because around my neck. What is the hell?

SPEAKER_10

You were facing him, he put his arm around your neck? Yes, he like spun me around. Did he spun you around?

SPEAKER_03

Like he I will have to show you more so then I can describe it. When he slapped me, I wanted to like try to hit him back like this. And then it was like he tackled me. Like got me to try to keep from pushing him or protecting myself. And he put his arm around my neck like this and choking me. When we got to the side of the bed, I was pushing back. I started to do a move that I saw off of social media. He said to me, That shit is not gonna work.

SPEAKER_10

So when you say you saw him, you tried to do a big thing.

SPEAKER_03

It was a defensive move where you put try to put your hands underneath the person that's trying to choke you. It's like something I saw on a woman defensive page or something. And he said that shit you see on Instagram is not gonna work. And that's when he got tighter. Like the more I was trying to pull his hand, he got tighter. And then I was pushing it back. And then he like fell down on top of me on the bed because I was on the side of the bed. And it was like he was like letting me like I guess he was about to let me go. But as he was getting up, he was like, pull my hair. And he was like, Yeah, I thought so. He got up, get off of me, get off the bed, get behind me, and he walked around the bed. I told him, I still haven't got paid. He said lies. And he was like, So what are you doing? So what are you doing for the week? And I was like, I'm staying here. He said, I don't want anyone in my house. I don't want anyone here. I was like, Okay, so who's gonna get my ticket? He said, We'll always get your ticket. And that's it. That's it. He walked out of the room. I looked down at my pants, I had peed my pants, and I had just came off my cycle and I was bleeding really bad again. I guess because I was so scared, I changed my pants and I cleaned up myself and I came back in the room. And that's when I texted Sonny um to get my flight.

SPEAKER_14

After the incident, Mila says she stayed in her room and initially had plans to go home to Atlanta. But she ended up calling another co-worker slash friend who told her she should come to New York instead.

SPEAKER_03

So I then um proceeded to change my flight to go to New York.

SPEAKER_13

She said, Well, I was shaken up. I was so shaken up that I peed on myself. But after I peed on myself and I cleared myself up, my friend was like, Don't go home, come over here. So I said f YOLO, and I'm, you know, on my way to New York.

SPEAKER_10

Did you see Mr. Diggs any time after that uh happened that day?

SPEAKER_03

He was getting a massage and I was leaving out by the time I saw him. I was handing over birthday gifts that I had got.

SPEAKER_10

Handing out birthday gifts. Who were you handing out birthday gifts? To him.

SPEAKER_13

This is another reason why people are split. And let me know down below what you believe. Who do you believe? Do you believe, you know, Stefan in this situation, or do you believe Mila? Personally, again, the birthday, you didn't piss yourself. He hit you so hard that you, you know, you were so scared. He slapped you. He got he he put you in such a vulnerable state, in a scared and anxious state, that you peed yourself. You had to clean up your, you know, your your own urine. But on your way to New York to see your other friend, and you just gave him his birthday gifts. You know, you got one time to even piss me off near your birthday, and you not getting a gift, let alone you cocked back and rocked me. I I don't know.

SPEAKER_10

And this is a gift that you had already purchased, or?

SPEAKER_03

Yes, I normally give him a birthday gift every year.

SPEAKER_10

And who did you uh meet up in New York City?

SPEAKER_03

Chi Charles. And she I met a she picked me up from the airport, and we went to pick up her friend, Talia. Talia? And then we went to her ex-husband's house to pick up something or to do something she had to do. We were there, we ordered wings and watched a movie, watched some videos. I didn't tell anyone there because they have their own interpersonal sexual relationship.

SPEAKER_13

I didn't tell anybody that somebody scared the hell out of me and abused me because they're in their own interpersonal sexual relationship. Now, this is Shy, Talia, and somebody's ex-husband. Uh, Tuesday to Tuesday. So seven days.

SPEAKER_14

Now, while Mila is in New York, she starts reaching out to ask about unpaid wages owed to her.

SPEAKER_10

And who did you did you talk to Mr. Diggs directly or did you talk to uh his finance people? Who did you talk to about this?

SPEAKER_03

Um it was a a chain of command. Like I I would talk to his assistant, but his assistant was under investigation for stealing watches and money. So I don't know if my thing is No, wait a minute.

SPEAKER_10

At some point, did someone from uh Mr. Jiggs uh bring up the a non-disclosure agreement?

SPEAKER_03

Yes, Mr. Jigs likes to abuse people and try to hide his abuse.

SPEAKER_10

At some point, were you uh um given some information about a non-disclosure agreement by someone who worked by for Mr. Jigs?

SPEAKER_14

Hopefully she can answer.

SPEAKER_10

Yes. And when was this?

SPEAKER_14

A couple days after the assault. Now, shortly after Mila filed her police report, she sent over screenshots of text messages between her and Steph. But on the stand, Mila admits that she did delete some of those messages before she turned them over.

SPEAKER_13

Why?

SPEAKER_03

I deleted messages because making the report to the police in my previous abusive relationship, me.

SPEAKER_14

I'm telling you, stop so they try that question again.

SPEAKER_10

Why did you delete those uh phrases when you provided those text messages to the data police?

SPEAKER_14

Because when I was abused in my previous relationship, when I would say things, you can't talk about your previous abusive relationship during the criminal trial of another man. You literally can't do that. And so the prosecutor tries one more time.

SPEAKER_10

Why did you delete um text messages when you provided them to the denim police?

SPEAKER_14

There you go. Okay, so this is one of the screenshots she provided to police, and you'll notice as she's reading the version she has, some of her responses are missing from this screenshot.

SPEAKER_10

So um on the top page, there's a text that says pussy, right? Yes. Who sent that?

SPEAKER_03

I did.

SPEAKER_10

And how did uh Mr. Diggs respond?

SPEAKER_03

Show me I'm pussy.

SPEAKER_10

And how did you respond?

SPEAKER_03

We'll do. Show me on pussy. Reality!

SPEAKER_10

Were those the last text messages you sent before uh Mr. Diggs hit you?

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_10

And what are these?

SPEAKER_03

These are messages um that I sent him accent to be paid.

SPEAKER_10

And uh did you know when around these were from?

SPEAKER_03

Um it was a couple days after um they were in Art Basil at 125.

SPEAKER_14

So that wrapped up Mila's direct examination. And then it was time for Gross, Diggs' attorney, to point out a key difference between the story Mila told on the stand just now versus what she told the officer back in December when she first reported this assault.

SPEAKER_06

You told the police officer that your fight with Mr. Diggs on December 2nd was over money.

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Except you just testified under oath to this jury that you didn't start talking about money until December 5th, right?

SPEAKER_03

What did you say? I have been begging for my money since December the 5th. Mr. Diggs, and throughout those messages, you can see that I was begging for my money since that day.

SPEAKER_13

Now, I think she started off asking for a couple thousand dollars, but then realized who she was, you know, about to sue or about to accuse. So then she bumped it up to, you know, $5.5 million. But again, she was asked to leave for a couple of weeks. She was getting about $2,000 a week. Even that is under $10,000. It doesn't, none of the story makes sense. You're having sex with them. You want to go to Art Basil. That's what they were supposed to go to in Miami. She wants to go to Art Basil, everybody else gets to go. She doesn't get to go, she's upset. Her and Cardi plan something, even though she had to be sent away because Cardi was coming. She had to be sent to she's friends with Cardi, but then also two, she's sleeping with Cardi's man. What the f is going on up in this house?

SPEAKER_06

Do you recall testifying under oath to this jury that your fight on December 2nd was about you were told you couldn't go on Basel?

SPEAKER_03

I was angry at Stefan because we were friends, and he told me at the last minute I could not go to our basil.

SPEAKER_06

And yet, police station on December 16th. You said you had been having an ongoing text exchange over money owed to you.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, I also didn't. Put in the police report out sexual relationship because I was ashamed. The police report got leaked. I didn't put a lot of things. The most important thing was the attack in the police report.

SPEAKER_06

You had a reason for why they weren't there, right?

SPEAKER_03

It happened. It faded. The fading went away the night.

SPEAKER_06

Right. And did you take any pictures of your injuries?

SPEAKER_03

I was in shock. The first thing was not to take pictures.

SPEAKER_13

It was get the hell it was. You know, a multi-million dollar football player. It just choked me up and hemmed me up and put me in a full Nelson. You my first, my very first thought, my thought while he's choking me is I've got to capture this. How am I going to be able to capture this? Because I'm going to need to be able to tell on this Negro immediately. Immediately to get it together.

SPEAKER_06

But you had a phone right there in your room.

SPEAKER_13

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

It's an iPhone. Yes. And it's got a camera on it. Yes. You can sort take videos with it. Yes. And you do take videos with it.

SPEAKER_14

Yes. Now, even though Mila didn't take any pictures to record her injuries, it turns out there are some pictures of Mila in New York around that time.

SPEAKER_06

And Shy has a dash cam right in her car, doesn't she?

SPEAKER_02

Not that I'm aware of.

SPEAKER_06

Did you know that she that you were being recorded on that dash cam on December 2nd?

SPEAKER_02

No. Dang.

SPEAKER_06

Did you know you were being recorded on December 3rd?

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_06

You know now you were recorded, correct?

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

And you've seen the videos that Shy that came from Shy's dash cam in her car, true?

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, you haven't seen them yet?

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_06

So Shy was driving the car, is that right? And then you're in the front passenger seat as we see you. And then um did Tolly sit in the back behind you?

SPEAKER_03

Behind Shy.

SPEAKER_06

I'm sorry? I'm behind Shy? Okay. And this was all on December 2nd. Okay. And this is the day you say you were violently assaulted. Yes. Okay. And that's you and Shy's car again? Yeah. And this is um the next day, right? It's December 3rd.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Um, and there was one night where you and Tolly were kind of goofing around with the video and taking videos. Do you remember that?

SPEAKER_13

I don't recall that.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_13

If I went to go hang out with my friends, Shy and my friend's friend, or whatever, Tolly, how did my videos of me having fun with you guys on the day I'm supposed to be lying about being assaulted brutally? How did that get into the hands of officers or investigators?

unknown

Ms.

SPEAKER_06

Adams, that was you on that video, correct? Yes.

unknown

Sorry.

SPEAKER_14

From there, the attorney starts asking Mila about her interactions with some of Steph's other staff, but that leads to this exchange.

SPEAKER_06

Um you've mentioned uh Mr. Diggs assistant, Sonny, a couple of times, right?

SPEAKER_03

Stealing Sonny, yes.

SPEAKER_06

I'm sorry?

SPEAKER_03

Stealing Sonny, that's what he calls her.

SPEAKER_06

Your Honor. I moved to strike, and I'd ask that the witness be instructed to please answer a question. That uh answer will be strict and the jurors will disregard it. Sunny at home, like and you could have done it. See, I give you never apologize.

SPEAKER_14

Mila says at some point after her trip to New York, the lock to her bedroom door was changed. Now, Steph's attorney argues that when Mila left the house on December 2nd, she was essentially quitting. But Mila says she was not quitting on that day.

SPEAKER_13

She wasn't quitting on the day that he brutally assaulted her.

SPEAKER_06

I didn't know if you were come going if he was going come back or not. So I had him changed. Right?

SPEAKER_03

Stefan knows why he had that door lock changed.

SPEAKER_06

Is that what he wrote to you on December 11th?

SPEAKER_13

She's mad as hell. And again, the trial only lasted two days. The jury found that Mila was in the wrong. Stefan won his case, but you can kind of see why. She's defiant. She's not answering questions properly. She's lying. She's laughing and dancing after the alleged, you know, first in the beginning I said that we didn't know when she was doing all that. It was apparently on the same day or the day after she supposedly was brutally assaulted by this man. She should have gone to the hospital. She should have taken videos, she should have taken pictures. Let me know if I'm drooping. I don't believe her. I have no further questions, Diana.

SPEAKER_14

Mila, girl, all the best, honey. You probably should have taken that hundred thousand. After Mila, the prosecutors called the officer Mila gave her statement to at the police station. His testimony wasn't long, and he basically just recapped what was said in the report. And that was it for the prosecutors. Those were the only two witnesses the prosecutors called to try and prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Stefan Diggs strangled and assaulted Mila Adams. Two witnesses. And then the defense began the presentation of their case. So, first witness up on the defense side is a digital forensics expert. Lord. And he's the one who used Steph's phone to show that Mila had deleted some messages in the screenshots that she gave to police. And then after the expert, the defense called Steph's chief of staff, Janelle Salas, aka stealing Sonny. Yes, that's my nickname.

SPEAKER_10

That's uh is that S-U-N-N-Y?

SPEAKER_13

I ain't gonna hold you, Sonny. Do look like she steals a bit.

SPEAKER_07

S-U-N-N-Y and then S-U-N-N-I.

SPEAKER_10

Okay, so both ways, right? Yes. Okay.

SPEAKER_14

Sunny testifies that the day the alleged incident happened, she was at Steph's house preparing for the group to go to Miami. Steph had left in the morning to go to practice, and Sonny says she left shortly after to get her hair done.

SPEAKER_11

Yes, if we could play that. For the record, that's a video ending in the number 602. Do you recognize what we just saw there?

SPEAKER_07

Yes, that's Mr. Diggs Mayback.

SPEAKER_11

Okay. And what's happening that's a good one? He left for work. If we could pause it right there real quick. Who's driving that for? Is that you leaving the house? Yes. Alright. Do you remember getting back to the house?

SPEAKER_07

Yes.

SPEAKER_11

Do you remember what time that was?

SPEAKER_07

It was in the afternoon after I had run ran my errands from my hair appointment. Yes, it's the car returning home. It's the Maybach coming home.

SPEAKER_11

3 39, 3 40 p.m.

SPEAKER_07

Yes.

SPEAKER_11

Is that consistent with your recollection of when you got home? Yes.

SPEAKER_14

A couple hours after arriving back at the house, Sunny says she recalls Mila asking her about getting a flight to Atlanta.

SPEAKER_11

When you spoke to her that afternoon in the kitchen, did you observe anything uh on her face? No. Anything on her neck?

SPEAKER_07

No.

SPEAKER_11

Did you see any redness or swelling?

SPEAKER_07

No.

SPEAKER_11

Oh Lord. Crying at all?

SPEAKER_07

No. Jesus. She wasn't even crying. She was walking around looking for a piece of a paper and a pen to write a cart, I guess, write a note to him for his birthday gift.

SPEAKER_13

She was looking for a paper and a pen so that she could write him something for his birthday after he beat her ass.

SPEAKER_11

Was there anything uh on Mr. Diggs's schedule?

SPEAKER_07

He had uh ozone therapy and massage. I believe I told them both to come at five.

SPEAKER_14

Sunny testified that she didn't remember any screams or banging or anything out of the ordinary that day, but she does recall that Mila made dinner that night.

SPEAKER_11

Miss Adams cooked dinner that night?

SPEAKER_07

It was like a hot dog. It was like a, and there was like mustard on it, but it was a fish on the counter and it was like dried up.

SPEAKER_13

2000 a week for a hot dog.

SPEAKER_07

It was like dried up. So there was like two that were made. Or it was like a hot dog, or like, you know, like Auntie Ann's when they have like the pretzel dogs, it kind of looked like that, but it was kind of it just looked dried up.

SPEAKER_14

The shade. The prosecutor does a very short cross-examination, basically asking Sunny if she has a motive to lie.

SPEAKER_10

Is it fair to say that uh you have a uh uh financial interest in Mr. Diggs doing well?

SPEAKER_07

What does that mean?

SPEAKER_10

Um if he does well, do you do well?

SPEAKER_07

I think we collectively do well. Yeah, out even outside of financially.

SPEAKER_10

Is he a good boss?

SPEAKER_07

Yes, he's great.

SPEAKER_10

Do you want to continue working for him?

SPEAKER_14

Yes.

SPEAKER_10

Nothing further.

SPEAKER_14

The next witness is the woman who performed the ozone therapy for Steph that day. And she says she arrived at Steph's house around 4 50 and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary while she was there.

SPEAKER_11

So then fair to say you were in that house that afternoon for about an hour, maybe a little less? Yes. Okay. Anything out of the ordinary that day? Not that I recorded. Hear anything unusual? No. Did you see anything unusual? No.

SPEAKER_14

The next witness is the massage therapist that Steph had that day. And she arrived at the house between 5 45 and 6 p.m. According to her, she said she does recall Mila bringing in a gift to Steph's room during the massage, but the therapist also didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, so I was um working on his right side leg, and I can cause the door is in front of me and I can see whoever was walking in. She was walking in, she saw that he was asleep, left, and kind of came back at a later time. When she came back at a later time, he kind of woke up because he was asleep. And um she kind of went over to the bed and she asked him there was something on the bed. She asked him if he was gonna to keep it, and then he said yes, and then she turned around and left. It was a black box, but I'm not sure.

SPEAKER_06

Did you see any marks on her neck?

SPEAKER_08

No, she had a black jacket on, so I couldn't I don't think I could see her neck, but I didn't see anything on her face at the time.

SPEAKER_14

On cross-examination with the therapist, the prosecutor starts to highlight that because of the high-profile nature of her clients, the therapist does have an incentive to remain discreet.

SPEAKER_10

Outside of just uh actual um, I guess technique and skill is uh discretion and care of how you uh uh because you're working with some high-profile people. Is that also an important uh aspect to have?

SPEAKER_08

I don't understand the question.

SPEAKER_10

I'll withdraw it. Nothing further.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_14

Now he gave up. The next witness is a woman named Melissa, and Melissa handles the finances for Steph's business and his personal dealings, including the payments to his private chef, Mila Adams. And according to Melissa, Mila Adams is not owed anything.

SPEAKER_06

Oh do you recall uh receiving an invoice from uh Ms. Adams on December 1st of 2025?

SPEAKER_09

Yes. Well, immediately I knew that it was incorrect because I had paid her um weekly for two of those weeks. So it raised a flag I needed to figure out had I made a mistake or had she made a mistake.

SPEAKER_13

Right.

SPEAKER_09

I pulled up every payment that we had made to her for the last 18 months as far back as I could go. Um, and then I went through every receipt and reimbursable that we paid her for the last six months. What did you learn from conducting your audit? That she had submitted receipts multiple times over the course of six months, the same receipt that she had submitted reimbursements for packages sent that were paid by our federal express account for reimbursement that we had overpaid her. Um I think the total was 2,500 in change at that time, um, with an additional 744 that maybe was legitimate. I couldn't substantiate because there wasn't a date on it. So that was more in a gray area.

SPEAKER_14

Melissa says she reached out to Mila to discuss these discrepancies, but Mila never responded. And then when Melissa followed up with Steph about the discrepancies, he really just wanted to make sure Mila was paid and taken care of. Now Melissa says because of all this talk about Mila and these payments, that prompted her to go through Mila's employment paperwork, including the NDA. Oh shit. And that's when she realized there was no paperwork.

SPEAKER_09

He's like, Get me a report. And um he had wanted to make sure that she was paid. And I told him I would get him a report, and he was fine.

SPEAKER_06

Um, did there come a time when you were aware that there was some paperwork not completed that you would have expected to be completed?

SPEAKER_09

Um at the beginning when I took over, I asked for those things as um I think it was the beginning of December when the invoice didn't match what I had. You know, I'm buttoning things up, it's the end of fourth quarter. Um, we're closing out the end of the year, so I wanted to make sure we had everything. So, you know, I was going through everybody's paperwork. But yes, it was about the beginning of December I realized we don't have her paperwork. I asked Sunny if she had collected it, and I emailed Mila asking for it.

SPEAKER_06

Do you remember the date on which you emailed Mila for it? Sorry, Miss Diggs.

SPEAKER_14

December 8th. The prosecutor had one question for Melissa on cross.

SPEAKER_10

Uh, Miss Uh Goddard, uh, have you ever been to Mr. Diggs' house in uh datham?

SPEAKER_14

No.

SPEAKER_10

No further questions.

SPEAKER_13

He's not sleeping with her.

SPEAKER_14

Witness for the defense was Steph's hairstylist, Chai Charles. Okay, this is Chai. If you recall, Chai is the person Mila went to see in New York the day the alleged incident happened.

SPEAKER_13

Chai says And took all them videos of her dancing and just key keying. That's why you can't call everybody a friend.

SPEAKER_04

I took her to Tobago. She spent time with my family, with my grandmother. Um, yeah, I actually bought her ticket to go to Tobago.

SPEAKER_14

So fast forward to the date of this alleged incident. Chai says she was at Target grocery shopping when she decided to call Mila because she was trying out a new recipe. So the two of them are on FaceTime, and Chai says Mila mentions that she's planning to come to New York.

SPEAKER_04

So I FaceTime her, I told her what I was doing. We spoke about the pasta all the ingredients I needed to get, and she was like, Girl, I'm not going to Miami. And she said she's gonna go home to Atlanta for a couple days. Then she's gonna come to New York. Well, she's gonna go home to Atlanta, but she's gonna step off in New York for a couple days. Asked her where she was gonna stay. She stayed at a hotel. I'm like, girl, we friends. We you don't have to stay at a hotel, you can stay at my place.

SPEAKER_14

Chai picks Mila up from the airport, and thanks to the dash cam that's in her car, Mila is filmed on the day of the alleged incident.

SPEAKER_13

They doing this investigation, like she accused him of murder. Like she accused him of the worst crime ever. And really, I mean, of course, yes, abuse is, but I mean, they got a CCTV dash cam. They got four, five, six witnesses. They calling the accountant, they calling the security guard, they calling the maid, they calling everybody. This is crazy. And I want to know which one of them is sleeping with him. So is Shai also sleeping with him? Was Sunny sleeping with him? I try to smoke it away.

SPEAKER_12

I try to steal on Stephon's money.

SPEAKER_04

We were just talking about what the song was about. Uh, we went to Jersey. I was I have a house in Jersey City, so we went to Jersey City. Eat wings and watch TV, just chill.

SPEAKER_11

Do you remember how long um Miss Adams ended up staying at your house?

SPEAKER_04

Uh uh probably like a week or over a week.

SPEAKER_13

A week too long.

SPEAKER_11

I hope she was paying some of the bills. On her neck or chest?

SPEAKER_13

No. No one has seen any, like even a hint of bruising.

SPEAKER_11

Did you observe anything on her face?

SPEAKER_13

No.

SPEAKER_11

Did Ms. Adams ever tell you that she had been assaulted or strangled?

SPEAKER_14

No. A couple days after Mila leaves back to Boston, Chai says she also flies into Boston to do Steph's hair. And while she's at the house doing his hair, Chai recalls Mila asking Steph about some money.

SPEAKER_11

Did you see anything unusual on the evening of December 13th?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so um Mila was in the back of us, like in a little dining area, and she shouts over to him, Yo, Steph, when I'm gonna get my money. And uh he responds, I I think you spoke to the accountant and uh her demeanor change, his demeanor kind of changed, but I wasn't paying any attention to it, I was just doing my job. Um so after a while, she moves from behind on the dining table and she comes to the front, like on a side, like a seat area thing, and she was there on her phone and she was just like laughing really loud.

SPEAKER_11

The next later that night or the next morning, you spoke to her again?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, like in the like probably midnight, 1 a.m. ish. Yeah, she came downstairs and we were talking.

SPEAKER_11

Did she tell you she was gonna take any action?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, she said she was gonna sue him for the money that he owes her.

SPEAKER_13

Okay.

SPEAKER_04

And like she's gonna take it to the block.

SPEAKER_13

She's gonna And see, this is my issue. The issue is you're suing him for the money that he owes you. Financial abuse is a terrible thing to go through. I have and am still experiencing financial abuse by the hands of my former employer. So no, it's not easy. Yes, I do understand that she deserves justice if he's not paying her or if he sent her away or if he's trying to play these games, but you're having sex with him, you're friends with his girlfriend. You know, if he didn't pay you, sue him for that. But don't say that he, you know, if he didn't beat you up. And he didn't beat you up that bad because you gave him a gift, you gave him a note, you came back, you danced, you were gleeful, you couldn't wait because you knew you hit the jackpot. But people don't take into account that a jury has to believe what you're saying. Take it to the block.

SPEAKER_14

Blogs, blogs. Got it.

SPEAKER_13

Take it to the block.

SPEAKER_10

So is it fair to say you knew him better than you knew her?

SPEAKER_04

Uh no, because we have a like a client um service provider relationship. So I wouldn't say that's subjective.

SPEAKER_10

When you're um uh doing his hair, do you talk to him?

SPEAKER_04

Uh I keep it professional, so just how's the game, stuff like that, nothing in his personal life.

SPEAKER_14

Nothing further. And then a woman that does her job. Chai's friend Talia.

SPEAKER_13

Imagine you're just doing your job and everybody's acting weird, and it's because they're also doing jobs, or then they're all sleeping with each other as well, and you're the one left out the group.

SPEAKER_14

Talia ended up hanging out with Chai and Mila for that week in New York, and she also said she does not remember anything unusual with Mila.

SPEAKER_06

Did you notice any marks or bruises or redness on Ms. Adams' face? I did not.

SPEAKER_13

I think at this point she didn't want to tell anybody because she knew she was about to lie and they were about to be like, uh-uh, girl, don't do that. And so she just wanted to keep this under wraps, but I don't know, not telling anybody that you've been with for weeks that you were just brutally assaulted, dancing around. And then finally, when you asked him for his money and you didn't get it because the accountant didn't tell you what you wanted to hear. Tell everybody that he brutally assaulted you, but didn't take any photos of it or any videos of it. You were so shocked you didn't take pictures, but you weren't shocked when you were in the car having a fun time dancing and laughing and twerking and turning up. Girl, please let me know in the comments if you believe her. Honestly, I'm sorry I don't not believe all women because some of you could be lying. Some of you be lying and making other women look bad. And this is a case where Cardi's supposed to be your friend and you're acting like this, sleeping with her man. Are you guys in an open situation? What's going on? Why is everybody overly freaked out?

SPEAKER_06

Did she complain at any point about um soreness or stiffness or um well, soreness or stiffness? No, she did not.

SPEAKER_05

So I was supposed to do her hair. So I a stylist, I would analyze her hair, I would lift it up just to see if you know the style that we were gonna do. I was trying to decide on the style that we was gonna do. So I did have close up view to her neck and her hair.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. And in the course of lifting her hair and and did you see anything and looking at her neck. Did you see anything?

SPEAKER_13

No. Oh, okay. Let me know in the comments what you feel about this. Y'all already know. I don't, I mean, I don't like a liar. At the end of the day, you were kicked out the boat. You weren't the favorite worker/slash sex worker. You're not the favorite, right? You weren't bigger than the program, and you can't fake cry. And because of all those things, I believe that that contributed to the fact that she lost her case. Good honor. Stefan got enough to worry about. He got all them kids to worry about, and plus, baby mamas can come out at any time and say whatever they want. And I think he has that man that keeps telling Tasha Kay that he did stuff. So there's a lot going on. Again, let me know in the comments what you felt about this episode. I do not appreciate a liar and I do believe that Mila was lying. Uh-uh. I'm sorry. I know it's believe all women, but some of you are liars. If you believe me, though, and want to keep this channel going, please go on down to ketosetta.com and pick up a growing through a journal or a balancing my bullshit plurnal. And until next time, I will I will holler.
