Hi everyone, welcome back to Fluent Manico, the series that takes you from absolute beginner to fluent in Cantonese. This is lesson seven. In today's lesson, we are doing a translation style quiz to review some of the interrogative pronouns we learned last time. Here's how it works. I'll ask a question in Cantonese. Your job is to figure out what it's asking. Take your time, think about it, and then I'll tell you the answer. Let's begin. First question Ne dim gai ho chu si ne dim gai ho chu si ho means to go. Chu si means supermarket. Ne dim gai ho chu si. What is the question asking? Is it asking how do you get to the supermarket?
SPEAKER_00Or why are you going to the supermarket? The answer is why are you going to the supermarket? Dim gai means why. Please repeat after me. Ne dim gai ho chu si Why are you going to the supermarket? Second question.
SPEAKER_01Ne gei si fan okay. Ne gei si fan okei. Fan means to return to. Okei means home. Ne gei si fan okei. Is this question asking when are you going home as in date or days?
SPEAKER_00Or when as in what time? The answer is when as in date or days. Please repeat after me. Ne gei si fan okay. When are you going home? As in date or days. What if I want to ask what time are you going home? The answer is Ne Gei Dim Fan Okei. Please repeat after me. Nei Gei Din Fan Okei What time are you going home?
SPEAKER_01Next question Nei Mai Jaw Me Shu Nei Mai Jo Me Shu Mai means to buy. Shu means book.

Koi Hai Binto Where is she?
