President is a temporary administrator inside of a system. A king is the source of law, culture, identity, and allegiance. And Jesus is not running for office. He's not negotiating sovereignty with anybody. He is king. And the moment that we think that the church's assignment was to fight inside of earthly systems to win them over, we have already misunderstood our jurisdiction. Earthly systems, especially ones that operate like Babylon, are not redeemed by infiltration. Welcome to the Mirologist Podcast. I'm your host, Marissa St. Luke. The bride is coming in hot as an ambassador of Jesus Christ. I was praying this morning, and God kept on bringing up fiduciary responsibilities. I wasn't even planning on filming today, but this word became alive in me, and I want to release it. So what we are talking about today is not politics, but the gravity of jurisdiction. Isaiah tells us, and the government shall be upon his shoulders. This is the legal framework from the Council of Heaven. This is constitutional architecture of the kingdom that we all belong to. We love to claim we're in the kingdom, we have kingdom rulership, but we gotta slow down a little bit. What I see happening in the body of Christ is a split, is a fracture in posture. Some are stewarding authority as ambassadors under a king, while others are acting independently, still using the king's name, but they're no longer operating under his government. So if we misunderstand this very literal reality, we will misunderstand everything downstream. Our authority, our prophetic mantles, our posture in the earth, and even what faithfulness looks like in this hour. Americans struggle with kingdom language. Other countries don't have a loyalty problem. We have been done a little bit of a disservice because we're not accustomed to living under a king and a kingdom. So we aren't familiarized with kingdom language and fiduciary responsibilities, territorial limits. What ends up happening is we're minoring in majors and majoring in minors. So when Scripture speaks of a kingdom, many believers subconsciously reduce it to elections, policies, power struggles, and influence campaigns. What we are very familiar with is a far lower form of rulership than kingship called presidency. If Jesus is king, then the president is really compared to nothing more than a janitor. And even that comparison actually elevates the role beyond what it deserves. And I'm not trying to offend anybody. I'm not talking about anybody specific right now. I'm talking about the actual role of a president. As an ambassador of a king, I would not place that level of faith or trust in a presidency to even clean up after the kingdom of God, let alone govern it. Scripture tells us to pray for our earthly leaders, but not because they carry a special authority. Their authority is actually much lower than ours. And I hope this doesn't go over your head. I'm not trying to be offensive, but we're told to pray for our leaders because they are temporary administrators, not kings. You pray for your president the way that you'd pray for a janitor. They keep order well enough so that the real work can continue. They don't define what happens next. The kingdom of God does not rise or fall within administrations. We pray how we always should pray. We pray for the order of God, for God's will to be done, not sovereignty within a nation. Because the throne, it's already occupied. So I know that this may sound unfamiliar, but once you see this, you can't go back. A president is a temporary administrator inside of a system. A king is the source of law, culture, identity, and allegiance. And Jesus is not running for office. He's not negotiating sovereignty with anybody. He is king. And the moment that we think that the church's assignment was to fight inside of earthly systems to win them over, we have already misunderstood our jurisdiction. Earthly systems, especially ones that operate like Babylon, are not redeemed by infiltration. They are outlasted by faithful representation. Scripture says that we are the ambassadors of Christ. I mean, what do we think this is? Fairy tale language? Just an invisible title? Or we have an invisible kingdom? I say, we got it wrong. I say, wake up, sleeping beauty, because this is our inheritance. It's a function. Open your eyes, get some balm of Gilead eardrops for those itching ears. And as a representative of the prophetic voice of God, hear the word of the Lord today and allow him to break all yokes that are binding your neck in a lower position. And I'm gonna exercise my authority today to set into motion the loosing of every hindrance in letting God's people go. Guys, we need to get this revelation on the inside of us. We need to walk in this now. Imagine this. Imagine if an ambassador of the United Kingdom under King William comes to the United States, but then votes for the U.S. president. That would be a crime. It's unthinkable, it's unlawful, it would be disloyal and it would violate diplomatic order because an ambassador doesn't participate in the political machinery of the nation that they are sent into. They represent the nation that they come from. When an ambassador walks into a room, they don't even walk in alone. They are the country, an entire country is entering with them. That's why ambassadors often don't carry any personal protection. Because if something happens to an ambassador, it's not personal. It wakes up the full authority of the sending nation. And nothing about an ambassadorial visit is casual. There's always preparation ahead of time. Rooms are prepared, meetings are set up, security is prepared. When a believer is aligned with heaven, when they walk into a space, the kingdom of God has entered the room. They don't even have to say a word. Their presence alone dominates every system through the authorization. When you are in constant dialogue with the council of heaven, when the high priest is making continual intercession, when the Holy Spirit is speaking to you only what he hears, and you are moved by nothing else but the voice of the King. That is when your very breath begins to vibrate with government. And this is not for down the road. This is not, oh, when Jesus comes back, I'm gonna have my authority. This is not assumed power, but this is delegated rule. This is our inheritance. This should be natural for us. This is when obedience just walks. You're walking it out. It's natural. This is when the restraint becomes strength. Your life becomes the actual announcement. This is where it becomes sobering because we're thinking so small. We're always waiting for this future day when we have the victory over a certain area that we struggle in to allow ourselves to enter into the fullness of the authority that we have in Christ. And this is not a good excuse. We need to be building up ourselves in our most holy faith. And as the Lord is actively working in our life, as we start to hear his voice, we listen and obey. The currency of our kingdom is actually built on trust. And my God, what a humbling thought that our king can trust us with words sent to open prison gates to give sight to the blind. What an honor and a privilege it is to be trusted, which brings us to talk about our fiduciary responsibilities. A fiduciary is somebody who is entrusted with something that does not belong to them and is bound to act only in the interest of the one who entrusted it. That means no independent action, no blended loyalties, and zero personal agenda. Jesus models this perfectly. He said, I do nothing on my own initiative. I only say what the Father tells me to say. That is an example of fiduciary language. The government rests on his shoulder because he is trustworthy enough to carry it. So we need to start asking ourselves, are we trustworthy? Are we trustworthy to carry his voice out? Because when we act independently, when we speak without being sent, or protect what God never told us to protect, we're not being bold, we're being unfaithful. This is so scary. Scripture calls that adultery. And Jesus even said, at this end generation, he rebuked the spirit of an adulterous generation. This is where we're at, people. Covenant requires exclusive allegiance. Joseph governed Egypt without owning it. Daniel served in Babylon and he never belonged to it. Esther influenced a king without becoming one. None of them tried to redeem the system. None of them micromanaged the empire. They understood the assignment. We're not called to protect jurisdiction in the world. We operate from outside of it. When you know where your authority comes from, when you really tap into your identity, you don't get nervous when that authority is not mirrored in the earth. And this is where much of our prophetic mantles have been skewed and have gone off the beaten path. Even if it's just a hair, you're off the path. Because somewhere along the way, we began trying to steward safety in the earth. This is so dangerous. But the disciples never stewarded safety. Jesus, he never promised safety. He said, Follow me. He never told the disciples to preserve their influence. He told them to lose their lives. We don't like to hear this message. I know. The disciples never asked, but will this keep our country protected? Will this keep our border safe? They asked. Did he send us though? When the prophecy is filtered through the instinct for safety, it becomes distorted. When people are having dreams about leaders of this earth being assassinated or harmed, they're praying and they're interceding. But in the spirit, the Lord is trying to send out a message. Digging the grave for the idolatry. And I really pray that this gets on us right now because I feel this in the spirit that the Lord is trying to heal our infirmity and he's trying to fill every crack of idolatry. There is a wall that is structured for the watchman. They see and they hear. Prophecy becomes reactionary, urgent beyond scripture, exaggerated in threat. And this is what I call unsubmitted zeal. The Spirit of God never ever prophesies from anxiety. Anxiety assumes that something is unresolved. But the word said, as he hung on the cross, it is finished. That means that his work has been made complete. The victory is already settled. So the kingdom is not under threat. Our warfare is not preventative, it is residual. And what we're really dealing with right now is just residue. It's the aftermath, the removal of what no longer has the legal right to remain. So all these prophetic words about what is happening in the earth, they're on a delay. Let me put this in real everyday terms. I'm the vice president of my HOA, and if I had to deal with a squatter situation, the issue wouldn't be who owned the property anymore. The issue would be that somebody is occupying space that they no longer had a legal right to occupy. We would just be settling this enforcement. Paperwork, notices, clear communication. There should be no panic, no arguing about who the owner is, no emotional debate with the squatters. What we would have to do is just remove the residue, dealing with an illegal presence that remained only because it had not been addressed yet. And this is how spiritual warfare works in the kingdom. The enemy is not a rival king. He's just a little tiny squatter now. So, contrary to what most Christians act like and believe in, our kingdom is not under a threat. The authority is already settled. The papal work was sealed at the cross. So the lack of authority that many seem to feel is actually a trespassing stronghold, insulting your intelligence in the earth. I can spot a false prophet right away. One of the tactics of the enemy is using this anxiety and it's dressed up as urgency. But this is not the spirit of God. This is why we have to test every spirit by their fruit. You gotta be aware, once you take a bite of somebody's apple, what does it produce in you? Are you walking away from hearing this message from somebody about the world system and it produces fear or a secret agenda or a false doctrine to confuse you? Does it encourage conspiratory thinking? These ought to get you trapped in cycles of anxiety, adding on to your cortisol overload, keeping your body in a state of fight or flight. Jesus said, My yoke is easy and my burden is light. That is the yoke that rests on Jesus' shoulders. And we are the government of God. And so what does that mean? We are resting on our beloved's shoulders. Song of Song eight five says, Who is this coming up from the wilderness, leaning on her beloved? And I say this with a holy trembling in my heart. His shoulder is the bride's jurisdiction. She does not come up from the wilderness self-supported or emerge asserting authority on her own strength. She comes up leaning. And where she leans, that is where she is governed. The government rests on his shoulders. And her authority is found in union, not independence. And this posture murders the spirit of Jezebel when we are leaning. There is no outside force capable of destabilizing the reign of Christ. And I just love Song of Songs for this. We see the people who are asking the question. People that are familiar with her are saying, Who is this coming up? Leaning on her beloved. Because now she smells like myrrh, it says. And we wonder why this is the name of my channel. Myrrh means, oh my god, I thought she died. We buried her voice. We destroyed her reputation. How did she get here? But what they mistook for burial was preparation. What they called silence was actually humble submission. And what they assumed was her end was only the beginning of her reemergence. She is modeling the resurrection power that comes out of being with Christ. And when you know where your authority lives, Your responsibility and your response naturally comes into alignment. And then the bride starts to see the enlarging of the tent, not by ambition, but by sovereign availability, so that he starts to increase his territory in the earth. And even that expansion is not in question because revelation doesn't even end with a warning. It ends with a surety in a declaration. It says that the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our Lord and his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever. This is not conditional. That doesn't sound like somebody who's waiting on cooperation, because if one refuses to align, another will back them up. The kingdom does not get stalled ever, it advances. The Holy Spirit speaks calmly, clearly, authoritatively, because the throne is secured. And those who can hear him will move with a holy restraint, with confidence and boldness. And I want to empower you today by letting you have the model of what it looks like to have submitted zeal. Jesus is our perfect example of that, and the apostles as well, because they never prophesied to guarantee outcomes. They had zeal that was not trying to protect itself. Zeal that is submitted no longer needs to protect jurisdiction. Peter had zeal when he drew his sword in the garden, and Jesus rebuked him. Not because he was wrong, but because he was unsubmitted. Jesus said, Do you think I cannot call on my father and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? In other words, I'm not unprotected. I'm submitted. Submitted zeal doesn't react to threat. It doesn't scramble around to control outcomes. It waits, not because it's passive, it just trusts who governs time. This is why the disciples could preach boldly without violence, stand before kings without rebellion. They lost their lives without losing authority. And I'm getting ready to drop on you what the mission is in these end times. Scripture says, come out of her, my people. It's a call to realign allegiance. Babylon is not a place, it is a system. A system that invites God's people to believe that if they just fight hard enough inside of it, that they can redeem it. But Scripture tells us not to redeem Babylon. It tells us to remain faithful while standing around it. The early church did not overthrow empires through policy. They replaced them through faithful presence, a contending for the faith. We're shrinking our authority down to outrage cycles and panic and constant reaction. We're no different than the world. But ambassadors don't obsess over internal politics of a nation. They focus on accurately representing the interests of the kingdom that sent them. And when this was coming up in my spirit today, I remembered something so important. I've been holding this revelation for a while now, but there is one more layer that seals this entire picture. And scripture is very intentional about it. Honestly, I feel like I could jump around with this revelation right now. It's so big. In Acts 2, when the Holy Spirit falls in the upper room, after that, Peter stands up to preach. And the first authority that he invokes is David. He said, Brothers, I may say to you with confidence about the patriarch David that he both died and he was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. Now, why is this important? I want you to picture this. Peter's standing there, freshly baptized in fire, his lungs are burning with heaven's breath, the Holy Spirit just straightened him out. And when he says, His tomb is with us to this day, I want you to imagine his arm that's pointing downward. I don't know if you're ready for this, but beneath the disciples' feet, beneath the floor where the Holy Spirit just fell, David was there. The king that they sang about, the king whose authority shaped Israel. And Peter is saying, What you're standing on right now matters. The fire of God didn't fall in a random room. It came on top of kingship because David's bones were buried underneath them. Don't tell me this is a coincidence. The authority of the old covenant beneath and the authority of the new covenant within. This is Jesus saying, My throne is active. This is Jesus confirming a greater David is here and his kingdom does not need defending. This was a kingdom coronation. This is when the apostles were authorized as ambassadors of his reign. So when we are talking about government resting on his shoulder, we are talking about a government that was promised to David, that's been fulfilled in Christ, released through the Spirit, and stewarded by faithful ambassadors. This is why the apostolic authority is not democratic. And the bride must be careful because she does not belong to the system that she is standing around. She belongs to the king that she's betrothed to, and her faithfulness is her authority. And when she stops trying to protect her jurisdiction, she finally begins to carry it correctly. So as you marinate on this for a little while, I just want to pray for us really quick. Father God, we just ask you humbly and intentionally to give us the revelation of the government of God. Show us why you chose the twelve, why you formed the twelve disciples, why the new Jerusalem is built the way it is, measured, ordered, structured, intentional. You said in Revelation that the city descends from you. It's prepared, it's measured, completed, and that nothing unclean enters it. So, Father, release to us the fullness of the knowledge of God in this capacity, the understanding that governs, teach us how to reign with you, not ahead of you, not independently of you, not striving for control, but submission and trust and covenant. Let this revelation land on those who can hear the voice of the shepherd, those who recognize truth. Train our ears, Lord, refine our discernment, strip away false imaginations, fear, and self-preservation until only obedience remains. Father, we do not ask to build our own kingdoms anymore. We are stewarding yours. And we agree with all of heaven when we say, Let your kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is already in heaven. Amen. It's time. Scripture ends with a bride who is ready. I don't even know what else to say, other than the spirit and the bride say, Come. I want to thank you for listening to the Morologist Podcast.
