Talk about it. Oh, yes. So speaking of the phone, when did it all start? How did we get here? How do we get here?

Well, the phone is a great representation of like my platform. So my favorite color is green. Um, and uh money. Praise God. I ain't got that much of it, but you know, hey, we're we're here. But um, I wanted something that was going to stick out when I like record on YouTube. And I thought that it would be great where like I would start off the video and I would be on the phone and people just like, first of all, where he get that phone from? How old is that phone? Because you know, this is the old, old phone, the one that was in the grandparents, the grandparents' house. You know, you gotta turn every single number and everything. But um, yeah, it's been a great part of like my platform. So like I use that each and every time that I make like a home video for like my YouTube channel.

So tell us about your creative journey. How did you get into being on the mic, talking to the folks, being on the street and the podcast? Okay, we wanna know. We wanna know. We wanna know all about it.

To be honest, it all started because um I know this may seem crazy, but like I wanted to be invited to the table. Like, I wanted to be a part of what everybody else was being a part of. So when I didn't see that I was being invited to certain places, I created my own table. And I said, you know what? I'm gonna create this table because I want everybody to come and eat. We can have great uh collaborations, great ideas. Um, and that's why I created the Please to Irk Me Show, the platform. And it's and it really was because nobody was inviting me. So I was just like, you know what? I'm gonna make my own table, gonna make my own platform, and I want the people to flock to me. And that's what they have been doing. And I am like eternally grateful for it. Some people find me funny, you know, some people say I'm hilarious, but I just be talking, and then people just start laughing. That's just how it happens. I probably each and every time.

Tell us about please don't irk me. How did you come up with the name? Let's start dear.

Okay, listen. Okay, so it was at work, okay? And you know, I work in the food industry, I work with a lot of customers. I have a job, so I don't want to get that taken away. Um, so there are times that like it seemed like every day I was saying that all day long, like, please don't irk me. And the people that I work with too, I'd be like, you know what, don't irk me. If you need something to tell me right now, don't tell me when you need it right then and there because I ain't gonna do it for you. Okay. Don't irk me. You know, put a please in front of it to be nice, you know, to do that, you know. A little grace, a little mercy. You know, God gives it to us each and every day, so why not extend the same thing? Um, but yeah, that's really how the whole name came about because then people just started calling me, like, oh, here come Mr. Peace, will irk me. Oh, don't irk him. But I'm like, I love that for y'all. I love that you guys are catching on. Because y'all know, Nick. Don't irk me. Please don't irk me. And that's really how it all came about. It was the same that I was saying each and every day. So there's like three things I say every day is please don't irk me. Um, I'm not in the mood, and please don't piss me off. Those are the three things I say all day long. But the main thing that I really do say is please don't irk me. Yeah, so yeah.

It's also crazy saying that I was like, But it's so good though, because like, come on, like, don't irk me for real.

Like, I really don't want you to. Like, it's a must. Like, it's not like something that is that's an opinion or something. I'm just like, no, it's a fact. Okay, I need you to not irk me.

Oh. Now, with the platform, right? Did you always know that you would would do this? Like, were you always like the funny friend that you know, like, I got some stuff for y'all we gotta talk about? And they didn't take you serious, but it's like y'all seriously, but I'm serious.

You know what? Um, yeah. I I I believe that at some point that uh when it came to other people kind of looking that I was starting to get serious about it, I think other people just like, oh, so Theo's really making this a thing. And um, when it came to, I do love talking. I do love, you know, uh I like talk shows and things like that. Like I love the Sherry Sharp. So even though I don't know why that's getting canceled before Jennifer Hudson brings it for y'all canceling, what's going on? Okay, it's a lock on Kelly Clarkson. She's going away and things like that, but like I love talk shows. And I would definitely give it to Wendy Williams. Like, Wendy Williams was like a great representation of her story was amazing. Of like, her story is amazing. And like she's funny, she's real, she's shady, but at the end of the day, you know that she's gonna the show is going to be good and you're going to enjoy it. So um, that's what I wanted for myself. Now, I didn't know what that was going to look like. I just knew that I just wanted to talk to a phone, talk to people, and that's kind of how it came about. Um, yeah, so um one of my friends, they um introduced me to this guy. His name is uh Billy on the street. I'm pretty sure everybody kind of knows him. He was always in the street doing funny stuff with people and things like that. And so when I seen it, I was just like, wow, I think that's something I could actually really do. Because people think I'm really funny. I'm just I just be talking. But um, the moment that I did that first episode and it was very successful, I was like, I probably could do this again. And it was such of a big hit that everybody was like, yo, the next one that you do, I'm trying to be a part of it. So then um, actually, I'm like well ahead. So I first started on TikTok live, and I was doing podcasts on there, and then that's when I went to the street interviews, and then I said I want to make the podcast instead of it being on the internet and on TikTok, I wanted to bring it to life. So then I created my uh own podcast and everything, and it's just been a joy from here on out. Like I really can't complain. So every rebrand, everything that I have done has just been amazing. I'm glad that it's working in my favor. God, continue to do that for me, my God, every type of way.

Tell us about when you went viral on TikTok.

Oh, listen, that payout was amazing. My God, today. That first one, I got like five, about like five million views. I thought it was like three, three, or five million views, and I was so excited. I was over the moon, over the moon. But when I seen the payout from it, that's when I was like, oh, so this can be a real thing that people can really get paid for their content. Because that payout was like $3,000. And I said, My God, should I quit my job now or should I hold over to see if this really gonna be a real thing? But um, that was so exciting. And the thing is, I'm a little irked because it wasn't a video of me, it was a video of like a snippet from like a show. So then when I seen the first video of like my face on it go viral, I was like, wow, that's like really incredible. So then it kind of pushes you to kind of put out more content and things like that. So yeah.

So, okay. So much to talk about. Listen, I'm here for it, okay? Okay, so you went viral with TikTok, you got a great payout. Now, how was it, how did you have to keep coming up with content after that?

See, I don't think I think it was more of staying relevant and staying close to like hot topics at at the time. Because um, one thing I I'm saying about the internet, the internet loves mess. They love stuff that's like negative. Either it's something that's really negative or something really positive, the internet just eats it up. But if it's like smack dab in the middle, everybody's like, uh, scroll. So um so I think that even with like the even with the content and and things like that, like going viral, like I love it. He went viral with uh, what's the guy? His kid, his name is Amir, and we did a video called Would You Slap Your Mind for $10 million? And uh I know street interviews crazy, right? Really crazy. And when that thing hit two million views, I was just like, I don't know what I'm doing, but it's like really exciting. But trying to push out the content sometimes can really it can be a lot, you know, it can be like too much that that's going on, but but yeah.

Okay, now Theo, there's so much to talk about. I know, it is so much. It's so much. So how did you gain your confidence to get on the streets? Because me, you know, I keep it on the inside. Oh, you do? So and I I can't. You're lying, bye.

Your personality is very big. It's just as big as mine. It really is.

Like, because I'll be like, you know, I want to talk to this person on the streets, but I'll be like, ah, but see, you with your personality, you just come out with it. So how did you gain that confidence to just boom, I'm gonna do this on the streets and this and be? I don't know.

It was it was just like a thing of just like um I probably watched so many videos from the guy and not just him, I was watching like different variations of it. And like when you uh when you see, when you see it a lot, you want to uh interact on it. So like when I see what I see and I see that I can do it, I'm gonna put my full mind, body, and spirit into it. Also, it really helps that like my personality is humongous. Like, and like some people probably can't take that sometimes. Where like, you know, I I tell people all the time I'm very dramatic, I'm very theatre, very, very theatrical. But it also makes people feel really comfortable too. They're like they can be themselves. It's a safe space if you wanna, if you wanna laugh, you wanna get serious, or whatever you want to do. Um, and that confidence just really came from me. It's just been in me, and I was happy that I was able to exude that each and every time I do go to the streets or when I do a podcast episode. So I love it. I'm trying, Lord, I'm trying, my God.

Okay, all right. Start with the pros.

Yeah, let's start with the pros. Tell us some of your greatest moments interviewing people at any event that you've been to in Philly.

SPEAKER_01 9:48

I think my biggest event was when I was at the art museum. That's when I actually uh after like the third or fourth street interview that I did, I created uh an event. And I said, if you're a Philly content creator, um come on out between four to seven. I'm going to be doing street interviews. And I was like, if you're interested, let me know. About 30 people like hit me up and said, I'm coming out, I'm gonna do it. But only 15 showed up, praise God. But I'm happy for the 15, and even the 15 that didn't show up, I still love y'all real good, I promise you. Um, so that was probably the biggest event that I had because like I was out there from from literally when the sun up to like almost the sun was down. And um, it's crazy how you can do 15 to 16 interviews like back to back because I had them scheduled so that I wouldn't overwhelm myself. So like if you were gonna show up between four to five, come at that time or six to seven or or or anything like that. And um, it did take a lot of energy out of me because when you gotta be that for Mr. Peace or Irkme for three hours, because I do count it as like a persona of like of like myself, because you know I try to separate Theo and then separate Mr. Peace or Irk Me. Um, but that had to be the biggest event because on YouTube that thing hit about a good like 3,000 or 4,000 views, and for me, like that's like huge. Like for me. Um the payout wasn't that big, but you know, it's really not about but but but the happiness that was in it was amazing because editing that video, because I edit all my videos, everything that comes to my lap, every every single content video that's in my phone. I literally do it all. I I edit everything. So even though I was tired after I left, once I seen the footage, it rejuvenated me all over again. And then it made me want to go out and do it again. And then it's becoming now a thing where I just do events. Obviously, when it's nice outside, because we're obviously not doing it these days. Praise God. It's a little chilly, okay? A little fur burr. Um, but uh that was just really exciting that people It was just saying that people wanted to be a part of something that that I that I have. And I put I count it as an honor and a privilege that people flock to my page and they say that they want to work with me because they think that I do good work. So try, my God. No, but when I tell you it it is a lot, like some people don't understand, like contact creating is a very fun space. We were just talking about it, it's very funny. It's a very fun space, but then sometimes it can be a very stressful space too. But definitely a lot more fun than stress for sure. But um, I'm definitely grateful for the platform that I have. I'm grateful for the people that support me. I really kind of honor and approve. I don't care if I get nine likes on a video, I appreciate y'all, those nine people. Y'all want to say from 7-Eleven.

No, listen, sometimes sometimes I get so mad where I'll spend hours and hours editing a video and I get nothing from it. And then I put up a video of me just singing something, a dumb song, and it's like a thousand views. I'm just like, the way I just edited that video.

Let's talk about other cities you've been to and their creative scenes of how you flourished within those spaces.

My God. No, B More was amazing. I was obviously in the good part. Everybody, I was, I was at the harbor. So everybody was like, oh, you was at the good part. You ain't go to the hood. I didn't need to. I didn't, I didn't want to see you know, the wire, seeing the show. I don't have to go any further, praise God. And then I did DC as well. Um, and the DC one I did with my friends, and it was like a Christmas special that we were kind of doing.

Um, and it was just so exciting to do a video with my friends because they support me like so much. And they're hilarious. My God. So getting them on the screen was just like really amazing. And then uh I was in New York as well, um, doing street interviews, and that was a little how was it? New York don't play. Okay, New York is really not like. They're just like, no. I'm just like, you don't know what I'm trying to do. They're just like, no. Okay, praise God. So um, I want to go back and redo it again, and I really want to find people or content creators who are in New York that kind of want to do street interviews because I'm always looking to expand. I'm and I'm always looking to work with great people like you and great people in Italy and things like that. No, because you are hilarious, okay? And this right here, money, okay? I'm trying to come back. Praise God. Um, and like I want to do it again, and I really honestly think that um if I have it more well planned out, because at the end of the day, it I'm not gonna lie, it was a last-minute thing. And I was just like, oh, we're going to New York, let me bring my microphone. But no, that wasn't it. So next time I definitely want to schedule it and make it a lot better. But yeah, DC was great, Baltimore was great. I had a great time. Listen, once again, but be more we're alive. Praise God. We're alive story.

Okay. No, what is the pushback that you that you've gotten within certain spaces?

Oh, well, praise God. Um well, I will I will say this, and I I know we say it over the phone, but like one thing I I just keep it real. Like, you know, and if you like it, you like it if you don't, oh well. Um there is there is definitely a pushback when it comes to affiliate content creators. There are some spaces that I have walked into and been in where people look at me as if I don't belong, or people look at me like I don't have the follower account, or I don't have the personality to be here, or I don't have the um content to kind of be here. And um, and some people actually said that to my face when I walked in the door and they see me, they're like, Oh, I would have never thought you'd be here. Oh. Oh, I would have never, I would have never thought you'd be in this scene. And I'm just like, but we're here. They gotta see your sister together. So like these people, um, sometimes I feel like I feel like when when it comes to Philly, when it comes to content creators, if you guys get offended by this, then you're really part of the problem. My thing is that some people want you to succeed, but they don't want you to succeed past them. Wake it up! Okay. It's like, it's like, it's it's it's it's like in the camera, let me say it again. It's like y'all Philly people, listen, love y'all. Real good. My God to that. But the thing is, is that you guys want to collaborate, you guys want to do stuff together, but then you guys don't want the person you're working with to surpass you. What is that even about? Because like to me, that's weird behavior. And I don't like weirdos. You know, I like nice people, I like people who have common sense. But like when it comes to the collaboration aspect, I feel like, like, if I say I want to collab with you, and you're just like, oh, you don't kind of have the amount of followers that I'm kind of looking for. I don't think that that's the right conversation. And we're obviously not ever supposed to work together because when it comes to a collaboration, the idea is that I want my people to see you and I want your people to see me so that we can make sure that it's an even exchange. Even if it isn't, even if you get 10 followers off of mine and I get two from you, I still gain something from it. So, like, I feel as though there's a big disconnect when it comes to that. And I'm really worried about that because we're supposed to be the city of what? Brothersly love. My God, but there's no brothers and there's no love. So, like, I'm just really mad about that sometimes. Um, and there was somebody that actually worked with, I ain't gonna say your name, I'ma spare you today. My God.

Lucky because if you would have called me 10 years ago, I would have ran down the list, okay? Um there was actually somebody that I worked with. Uh, this was, you know, um probably like a few months ago. Um, and uh I actually paid them to do a service to actually help out with um my photographs, they're gonna eat obviously know who this is, help out with my photography, help out with, you know, when I'm doing my street interviews. Because one thing I don't play around with is people's money, okay? The invoice is paid before you even get there because I want to make sure that you're there and you do everything that you need to do. But my dad told me I need to stop doing that because you need to do the deposit and then pay them the rest when they finish their job, what they need to do. So um, I asked for certain things. We had a contract. I asked for certain things, but those, but everything was not fulfilled within that contract. Now, could I have gone to court with that because we both signed it and everything? Because I asked you to get this, this, and that, but you only got this. But we waited for this, this, or that. But you only just got this. I don't like that. I really don't. But like, that's another thing that I'm talking about is that you're holding content from me that I'm supposed to use because that's what I paid for. But like, once again, you're trying to sabotage what I have going on. And that's totally fine. But at the end of the day, when I got this green phone right here and I talk to God, I talk straight to Jesus right here, and he hears all about my problems, then I know that God's gonna handle you the way that you need to be handled. Exactly. Point play, period. I mean, we can always make a call.

I try to be honest, and and I really do try to be fair. I think just the main thing is that like um I never want to dog anybody out. That's you know that's not me, that's not my partner. No, no. I'm really black and you know, so it's either you're right or you're wrong. And you were totally wrong. And the person never apologized. So I was just like, I think that would be so great for two Philly contributors that do street interviews to do something together. So um, I think we really didn't have an idea until like we came that day. And I was like, I have an idea. And I was like, I really want to talk about where we need to leave in 2025. And I love that it was such a big hit that everybody was like, yes, we gotta leave that there. But it was just so exciting to work with you because I love your personality, I love everything about you. Every time I see you on Instagram, I just gotta stop, I gotta like, comment, repost. Because I think that you're one of the people who want the best for everybody.

And, you know, the gospel industry can be really uh cruel and be like really mean, especially if you're not living up to the standard of uh God. Because if you're not perfect, then like you'll be shamed to the like. You know. Um, but I think that's somebody I would love to work with. Another person I would love to work with is Drewski. I think he is so He is hilarious. I think like they could never make me hate him. Never. There could never be a time now. I'd be like, I don't know about Drewski, I don't know about you. Okay.

First of all, uh Laura, I was about to start singing it. Um the jingle. First of all, I am so excited. So um I wanted to do something different for my platform um because um I have a podcast, but I don't have an intro to anything. And I was just like, and I was on YouTube, um, I'm trying to look at other platforms to see what they do. Because even though I have 10,000 subscribers, does not mean that those people come through. Like sometimes they do, sometimes like they don't. I feel like they come through more on the reels and the shorts than they do on like the actual long form stuff. Um, but uh I'm sorry, what was the question again? I'm so sorry. About the jingle, right? So um when when it came to the jingle, I was um thinking to my head that I wanted to do something different. So I put up a post where I said I wanted to work with a lot more Philly content creators. So when uh that post hit, it kind of like blew up, and people just like, oh, I want to work with you, I want to work with you. I was like, oh yeah, I'm gonna hear for this. So then this uh the producer, I I I've known him for some time. Um funny story that might probably get me canceled. Um, my ex um, he produced my ex album, like his like EP and things like that. So um in my mind, in my mind, I thought that when we broke up, that like, you know, people choose sides. Like, you know how people like you go with that one, you go with that one. So, and I thought, I'm just like, you know, by association, you did the EP and all that stuff, that you're probably gonna side with him. But when I seen him comment under it said, I would love to do something with you, it just tugged at my heart. Because I was just like, I really thought I lost a good one.

And um, I told him I DM'd him and I was like, I got the funniest idea. We should do a jingle. And he said, bro, let's do it tomorrow. And that's really what we did. And we sat from scratch. And Keith Keyes, I'm sorry, Keith Keyes, he does everything from scratch. If you want a new song, if you want something original, that is the guy to go to because he's gonna get it out of your head. You give him three ideas or a genre that you want to go into, he's gonna hit it right on the head. And that's what happened. So now I got a whole song, you know. I'm here for it because people said I was giving a brandy vibes. You know, he's got a little harmonies in the background. Oh my god! But that was just so exciting for us to do something together because I really counted him as a great uh friend, a great person, um, and he does really great things for people. So I was really excited to work with him again. So yeah.

Oh, listen, the Peace Irk Me show. I am so excited about my podcast. I mean, to be honest, I think I had like my um biggest year last year when I got the chance to interview the winner of the voice. I thought um Asher Ivan, I've got crazy. And when he hit me up, he said he was coming to town for the Thanksgiving Day parade. And he was like, friend, you know, I have an EP coming out and I would love to come on your show. He was like, Is it okay if I come on, you know, to talk about things? I said, sir, don't irk me.

I will literally set the time and date right now. You just show up, we're gonna make this happen. So when we did, like, and we were finished, I got to my car, I started bawling because I'm just like, imagine if I never would have done this. I would have never gotten to where to where I am today. So for me to start from TikTok and doing this with people around the country and around the world and to bring it to life, bring it to like a studio, shout out to the flex space, shout out to HOF Studios. Um, and for them to cater as well, to cater to your needs and cater to what you need. Um, and the fact that people just want to be on my show. When I say I really count that as an honor, because there's people who just aren't going to like you. There's people who just don't vibe with you or like like your content or kind of you know want to be in your dwelling place, if that makes sense. But this Please Eark Me show has literally saved my life. It has given me strength, it has given me um obedience, it has given me determination, um, it has uh made me more ambitious because now that I've had all these people on, I even had Tamara Jade on where she was on tour with Kev on stage. I even had on Tyler Miller, which I just I'm sorry, Tyree Miller, where we we just went viral on Instagram. Um having the kid on the that I went on that I got viral with on Instagram, I just had a podcast with him that is doing fantastic numbers on Instagram. So when I say I'm so excited for the things that God has for me, and this show has really saved my life, that there are times where I am down, and then I just start editing a video, and then I'm just right back up to where I need to be. So this show is just everything's it's my baby, you know, it's everything, and I'm so glad that you know that I made it happen. I'm so glad that I put two and two together and made four. And now we're here today.

I would love to do a late night show. I would definitely love to do that and have some guests on. Yeah, and um, as long as it's not anything, I don't want to be shady or anything like that. I just want um like I I I want a good show like Jennifer Hudson just without the bad hosting. Like I I want a happy I want a happy place, you know, but I just a better host, you know. But I I put a video on TikTok because I was like, I really want you to hear me out because I don't want you to think I'm bashing you, because I know every song, I watch every episode, I've been to concerts, so I don't want you to think I'm trying to play you in any type of way. And I was like, I want to talk to you and your team to kind of see like where you you can get better at when it comes hosting, because I don't want nobody to get canceled. Right. I definitely don't want to see that for anybody. Um, but that is definitely where I want to see myself. I want to see myself on TV. Um, I want to make this full time, doing this full time that like I wake up and choose to do content because like I'm already paid out well. Like I want it to be that type of lifestyle. Um, and also what I see in my future, another thing for the Peace of Erkme show, traveling across the country, talking to other people in different countries, talking to different people from um different uh backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, and um have a conversation with them about culture and how our cultures are the same, different. I I would love to do something like that. So that's what I see in the future. I would truly hope in the next like 10 years that that would definitely be deemable for me. It will. I'm believing and trusting God, like literally. And uh I'm actually really excited about the future for whatever God has for me. I know that it's definitely for me. Yeah.

I I I love him that much where the life that he has given me and the platform that he has given me, he didn't have to give it to me, or he didn't have to give me the tools to make this platform grow. So, of course, I'm gonna make sure that he's at the forefront of everything that I do. Um and he is with me wherever that I am, even when I'm doing street interviews, even when I do my podcast. Because to be honest, some people thought that it was kind of weird that when I start my podcast out, when it's like certain people, I pray first. Like on camera. I'm like, let's have a word of prayer first. And then we kind of go into the because I I think what I love to do is pray over my guests so that whatever that they're dealing with, wherever that they're facing. I just kind of speak life over them. And I just speak, you know, abundance, speak blessings, miracles, whatever that you need, wherever that you feel like you're shorted at. I pray that God strengthens that area. And it makes me excited. It makes other people excited too. They're just like, not you praying for me. And I'm just like, well, if there's one thing we need, we need prayer a lot more. We look, somebody gotta pray. You know, somebody had a praying grandmother. My God. But I love to put God at the forefront of my content because He is me. I am Him. And I take Him every single place that I go. Every single place.

There is nothing about me that is perfect. I promise you, I put in my shoes just the same way as everybody else, in the pants leg one at a time, literally. If you put two one at the same time, I'm really worried. Um, but um it's exciting to be grounded in him because then I won't lose myself. There are people out here who are selling their souls for this fame, selling themselves to be at somebody else's level or be in somebody's room or be in somebody's orbit. I want to be in God's orbit. That's the only orbit that I want to be in. I don't want to be in any place or any room or anywhere that God isn't going to be in. That's what keeps me grounded, is that I keep him with me everywhere that I go. Once again, I don't get everything right. I probably sinned 15 minutes ago. My God. But it's really the fact that even in my sin, even whatever that I do, I know that he's always with me. And I know that he will always be with me.

So um I think that's where we're kind of losing the essence that now we're looking for speakers, not preachers. We're looking for uh people who can sing a solo but can't lead um a praise team or something like that. So I think that's where we're kind of losing the essence of church. Because church really isn't church like it used to be. It really is.

And I really don't want that. I want them to know that, like, not every church is like that. There's some really good churches out here. Um, but yeah, the moment that the choirs went out, boom, church went down the hill. Just like Jack and Jill.

Oh, okay, we gotta get back up. We gotta get back up. And speaking of more of God and how he leads us towards success, how do you think your success has changed now as opposed to baking free when it comes to podcasting, interviewing people?

SPEAKER_01 50:38

Well, you know, God definitely was not at the forefront before. Like, of course, I would say like uh my God or something like that, but I never really prayed over my platform or prayed over. I know this sounds crazy, but I even sometimes pray over my videos to see like, God, I really hope that this touches somebody, makes somebody laugh, um, changes somebody's day. Um, because before that's probably why I have a lot more success now, is because I do take God wherever I go. But back then, it really wasn't about him, like at all. And I think that when I became a little bit more serious, that like God was like, now I can elevate you. Now that you see the things that I'm doing for you, now you trust me. And then now I could trust you with more territory and more people. And I think that that is the reason why the things are probably progressing a lot more, is because I do put him at the smack dad middle of everything that I do. Literally.

So what what I'm doing is I'm trying to incorporate Black History Month in some type of way into that. Even if it's a street interview or something like that, I'm like, hey, did you know this about so-and-so? Or tell me a little fun fact about Black History that you didn't know. Um, but you know, I'm all things black, okay? It is like I'm blackety, blackety, black, black, black. Even if I was to be recreated again, I would want to come back as being black all over again. It is something about the skin, it is something about the way we think. It is just something about when we walk into a room that we are the blueprint for everybody else that is in here. Some of y'all white babies, some of y'all white kids wouldn't know how to do the stuff that you guys do today if it wasn't for a black person. So I definitely want to make sure that some people need to know that, like, um, like I can never understand how somebody could be racist, but you need air conditioning to be to be cool when a black person created that. I I don't know how you can rise to the next level side of a building without an elevator because a black person, you know, created that. I don't know how you're able to get around on a GPS if it wasn't for a black person. So I'm trying to understand. Hello. I mean, it it shouldn't even be just 28, 29 days. We should have a whole quarter of the year, to be honest. That's just me, though. We celebrate all year. We celebrate our blackness. But um, I'm definitely incorporating every single interview that I'm doing, I'm asking people about it. Every single street interview that I'm doing, I'm asking people about it. Because I want to make sure this is a very black month. As black as possible. Praise God.

Um, I tried to date somebody, and um, like I count my show, and I'm pretty sure everybody in here, when you do something that you love, that's like your baby. Like, that's like your everything. And um, I was talking to somebody, and um one one day he said, uh, oh, oh, you you working on your little show? Not little who's little? I don't see Bow Wow, I don't see I don't see Romeo. I was Who's Little? Who's Lil? No, I got because I felt he was more disrespectful with the L I L instead of Little.

I am like so tunnel visioned right now that 2026, I'm just expecting greater from 2025. Because in 2025, um on Instagram, I had over 2 million views. So I'm hoping that even in 2026, that I have four million or five million or or anything. But um, and even if I don't hit that mark, it's just the fact that I'm still going and I'm still making it happen. And I think that's, you know, the great thing I'm looking for. Another thing I'm looking for is keeping my um mental health really good. Very important, you know, um neck. Definitely making sure that, you know, because your mental has to be right to do things like this. Because I think some people think that we just wake up, we just make it happen. No, there's a lot of things that go into this. And I really wish it was that easy, but there's a lot of time, a lot of money, a lot of editing. I I cried, I crowed, I've done everything. I scrumped.

So 2026, I'm looking to be a lot more um ambitious, even though people are like, you already doing a lot. I still feel like I'm not doing enough. Um even though I am. But there are some times I'm sitting at home and I'm just like, Theo, you could be doing something. But then I have to realize that like sometimes I need to learn how to rest. That's another thing, too.

Number one thing you have to do, you have to listen really good to me, okay? An attention grabber. All right. If you are not getting the attention of people within those first three seconds, you have lost your audience. That's the last thing that we need. We want to make sure that the people stay with the video. We have to make sure that the people are watching the full thing. If they're not watching the full thing, then you really don't get credit for the video. Or the video is not going to be pushed to other people. So we have to make sure that your attention grabber is going to make people like, comment, and repost right away. And then another great thing that they can do since the video is so good and you held their attention, they're going to share it with somebody else. Another thing that you guys have to do is to make sure that your video makes sense. My God, because some of y'all put out anything. I don't like that for y'all. Like at all. My God to that. So you have to make sure that the video makes sense. You have to make sure that from start to finish that you have somewhere that you want to go and somewhere that you want to end. It's kind of just like being a singer, where a singer starts with the run and the and and the singer knows where they want to start and where they want to go. You have to know the exact same thing so you know where the run lands and where the video lands. Because if you don't do that, you're going to lose your people. And also make sure, make we gotta make sure that it makes sense. If it doesn't make sense, it's not gonna make sense to us. And I promise you, it don't make sense to you when you posted it. Praise God. Another thing, we have to make sure that the video is not too long. Don't be out here giving us a seven-minute video. We only need a seven seconds because you talked about nothing for those five to seven minutes. I mean, nothing, and I really don't like that at all. So you have to make sure that it makes sense length-wise, it makes it makes sense content-wise, and it makes sense for an attention grabber. If you do not have those three things, then I'm not saying you're not gonna be successful. All I'm saying is you may not hold your audience a way that you kind of want to. Do you want to build? Do you want to create? Do you want to be better? Do you want to make this thing a lifetime thing doing this full time? Then we have to apply those three things to our content.
