Hey everybody, it's your girl Kim Little Back at it again. Welcome back to the People's Platform for the Creative Community. And tonight we have stylist and musician Creator.
SPEAKER_02So, how you?
SPEAKER_03I'm great. How are you? Oh, you pause for a second, it messed me up. We're gonna get back into it. So, yeah, how are you tonight? I'm good, actually. I feel great. You look great. I like your outfit. Thank you. I appreciate it. So how was you done today?
SPEAKER_02That's a good question. Uh it was cool, it was cool. It started off. I did some uh lift period feeling. Like, I don't know. Ever since I started doing lift, it should be kind of cool though. Different connecting with different people. Then just be like, I don't know, I'll be quick to support my brand. Period.
SPEAKER_03You be like, yeah, just follow me on Instagram. Give me five stars. And while you're at it, right, while you at it. That's what's up. We're gonna get right into it, okay? So you a stylist and a musician, right?
SPEAKER_02More so, like, um, I just like the business side of the music. Like, I love music, but I ain't no rapper. Nothing like that. I feel it. I just like I like the business. I always like the business, especially since like my aunt taught me more of the business. Like, yeah, one thing she tortur and stellar to me is like it's business before talent. So ever since then it's just been like I've been. I don't know, the business side of music is different, it's way different from fashion, but they tie into the two though. So I don't know. It's just something that I always love though. Like music is outlet for me. So that's what's it. But I uh I like like me, I like instrumentals and beats and all that for real, for real. Like I could vibe out to to stay in the middle by itself. Period.
SPEAKER_03And with your aunt, so is she the one that like led you to music, or that was just something you just found on your own?
SPEAKER_02No, my mom. Really? My mom, that's how I look, I to be 27, I got a soul, like I'm 57. Yeah, right. No, I dig, I did. Like sometimes I don't even like everybody in my car because it's like because I'm about to vibe out. Yeah, like but my mom, she played just about everything. Like everything. So it's like my music insight definitely came from her and like my grandparents and stuff like that. It's more so like my mom for real, for real.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Now with your mom and your aunt. So this is your aunt on your mom's side, correct? Yeah. Okay, so did they ever think about doing music together? Or you know, like maybe she, you know, won't be a singer and then your aunt do with the business side. That's just something. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay, yeah, my aunt always, she uh my grandmom's sister, so she's always been into like the industry part of things, the film, the uh music. She did like her own type of thing. So when she once she seen me playing around with different industries, she like more so took on doing distorted things and brought me around like different things and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Now also with you being trans, how do you, you know, living your truth through styling, through music, and things like that?
SPEAKER_02By being me? Period. By just being me. Like, I really like like my biggest thing was just taking my boots off.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_02That's all that mattered to me, honestly. Like, I don't, I I tell people my name. It's up to you to call me what I told you. Other than that, it's like pronouns and all that. That don't be bothering me because it's like once. I was about to get into that. Yeah. Once once my grandfather told me, like, it's not who it's not who you are on the outside, it's who you are on the inside. Like, I that's stuck with me. Cause it's like, you don't, you gotta get to know me. You can place a judgment on me. You can call me whatever you want to call me. Like, people be saying some sick ass shit.
SPEAKER_03So how do you deal with the comments when people talk about your sexuality? I'm from Philly, I bet. Come on.
SPEAKER_02I'm a I'm a I'm a troll. Like, I like I troll so bad. It's just like sometimes it get irritating because it's like, all right, y'all just keep going, y'all keep going, like, let's end this. But I troll people so bad sometimes. They like, can we just be friends? Yeah, like we can, yeah, I don't got nothing else to say. Can we just be friends? And it's like, that's all you had to say in the first place. It's like you just it the crazy part about it, it be men. Oh, all the time. It be men, it before.
SPEAKER_03Like, what's your whole thing?
SPEAKER_02Like, I had to tell somebody, like, because I be getting smart, I be getting smart, because it's like me, it's like, I don't really put a male or female on me. Like, if you keep I'm an alien, that's my thing. It's like it ain't no male or female aliens, just one. Just one, right? So it's like that's me. So it's like so somebody says something, I said, well, if I'm a male, you a male, what the fuck you on my page for? What are you worrying about another male for? What is another if you was supposed to be straight, what is another male worrying about another male for? Like, I be bidding back though. They hate it like they hate it because they expect me to cry and run off my page, but no, I look at it as y'all hate when I take my shirt off, and I'ma keep doing it. And I'm gonna keep doing it. I'm gonna keep getting y'all mad every time. Every time y'all gonna just keep getting married until you block me, and that's cool.
SPEAKER_03Period. Yeah, that's cool.
SPEAKER_02I'm not blocking nobody, y'all gonna block me. Like, I'm I'm not doing that. Am I taking my time out to go hit the block on nobody?
SPEAKER_03Period. Now, the person you are now, what would the person back then or five years ago say about you now?
SPEAKER_02You stayed true to yourself. Because when everything was like, I could have gave up, I could have quit, I could have did all that, but I don't. Like, I just had that talk to myself the other day, like I'm proud of you. Like, because you overcame everything. And even with still stuff still going on, I still just keep going. Like, at the end of the day, the biggest thing to me, I woke up.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02So once like once I woke up, it's like everything else could be handled throughout the process. Like, we can keep going. I'm not about to give up though.
SPEAKER_03Period. I loved it. Now let's talk about styling. Then with your styling, how did you get into fishing? What started it? My mom.
SPEAKER_02Come on, mom! Like, my mom. My mom is one of them people where like she don't, she good with colors, and she don't stick to just one thing. Like, if the old world wearing designer, she can go style with different other things. Like, she was good with her her bangles, her jewelry, but my aunts also too. Like my dad's sister and my mom and my mom's sister, like, they real big on style too. So it's like I got my style from a bunch of things, like things around me, the people that that helped raise me. My dad is, he's he's not big on like how I dress, but he can, he's still like a fly guy. Yeah, because he he's a street, he's a street guy, so he can dress in his in, especially in his era, but like he still threw that shit on though. Like both my parents fly yourself. So I can't, like, I don't know. I come from a family of just fly ass people, but everybody just fly in their own different way though. So it just makes my style a little bit more easier because it's like I done seen different things in different, like growing up, seeing people throw it on different ways. Like even my grandmoms, like, they get to all that too. Like, I be telling my grandma now, like, you fly yourself, you sharp your shit. Like, like you so fly.
SPEAKER_03Like when somebody says you sharp, that's a big compli like I just owe you the eyes. No, that nigga shot.
SPEAKER_02I tell you, I'm fly. My grandma tell me yeah, I like, I say yeah, I'm like, what you're gonna give me.
SPEAKER_03Like, I don't care what about yesterday. My grandma said I was cute. So yeah, stuff like that. Now, how would you describe your style? Because I love how you got the shirt over the hoodie. Could I pull that off? No. But but how yeah, how do you bring your style together on the everyday? Honestly, it'd be my mood.
SPEAKER_02It's like my mood board. Like, I just look, I scan the room, see what I got. Alright, cool, I'm gonna just put this together. And then sometimes I get to the point where it's like, ah nah, so I snatch everything off. I'm just like, and it don't even be bad, it's just like it may not be my comfortability for the day. So if I change like this, all I knew, I'm like, damn, I just wore these jeans. What I'm gonna do with them. Right. And I'm like, ah, I need to wear my hoodie. So I'm like, fuck. I don't know. Cause lately I've been rocking pink, so when y'all was like, no bang, I said, God, right, right. So I'm like, I don't know. It's just merciless like my mood, like just how I feel for that day, and just what I got around.
SPEAKER_03And even like with the color, so like you said, you've been doing pink. So what has been driving you to the color pink?
SPEAKER_02Honestly, just a thing with just, I don't know, just having this love thing right there. Like, it just, I don't know. I just been having this, like, you know, it's so much negativity, so much hate all in the world. So it's just like I just got this big love thing with me right now. Like, that's what's up. Just spread up, just being around. So it's like, it's kind of like how I feel on the inside is like representing what I'm wearing on the outside.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Now, with styling, how does it feel to style others? And what do you want to go for when you see that person? Like, are you going by their mood or you know the type of day it is? You know, anything. Like, what's how what is your creative process within it?
SPEAKER_02More so, like, and shout out to my friends that be coming to me too for the tips and my family members, because it's like they don't have to, but they do anyway. So I definitely yeah, it's like I definitely appreciate that. But I more so like to style people based off of how they dress on a regular, but just up it more or put them on like things that they didn't know. So it may be like they may shop one place, but it's like, yo, you know, you can get X, Y, and Z at this store. Or just like some people trust me so much in the in the process where it's like, listen, I'm aware of what you, you know, you put on me. So I just kind of dress people based off of like their sense of style. Like, I got a bunch of friends who like them rock star type of people, so I dress them in like that sense. Like, I'm not gonna dress you in like preppy fashion. It's not you not comfortable in that.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_02So, but they do be open to things though. But I, you know, the males, they ain't going for too much. Yeah, I know. Yeah, you still you guys still gotta keep it. But I don't but we got I got friends and like family members, we all are like versatile, so it's like that's though we pretty much open to a lot.
SPEAKER_03So when people see you, what kind of looks do you get? Like do people be like, oh, like look at you like it's weird, they like, damn, I kind of wish I had that piece.
SPEAKER_02No, it'd be like, yeah, you fly. Like you fly as like I don't know. Like maybe some people think it's weird, but honestly, it's like I don't, I'm not mad at that. You know, everybody got their own style, their own taste, because sometimes people put on shit that I think weird to hell. But it's like to me, most of the time, the majority of the day I hear just like you fly as hell, or where you get your pieces from, and this and third. Majority of the time, like, I'm not rich, so I'm not about to be spending all my bread like to design stuff. But I'm quick to I thrift. I shop at minimal, like Marshalls. I I damn we're going to Marshall's Burlington TJ Maxx every day because you just never know what you're gonna find in that computer. It came up on one of my favorite jean jackets right now for $20. I don't even know what the design is. I love it. That shit was fire. It was in the women's section. Like it was, it's like, and that's another thing too. I started playing around with a lot of women's clothes lately too. Okay. Like, not my jeans, because that shit too curvy and all that. But as far as like tops and stuff, like that fitted look and having a shirt is more fitted to me. So it's been like my little thing lately, too. Just more fitted tops and like baggier bottles. So it's like I shop everywhere. Like, I don't, as long as it looks right, I can make something with it. I ain't got no, I don't care if it's dollar, I'm buying that shit. Like, like, I'm getting it.
SPEAKER_03Now, with thrifting, y'all, like, I feel like you gotta have something special with you to go thrifting. Cause when I go, I'm thinking like, I like this, but it has to go with something. I'm the worst thrifter I've ever been. Like, so what is like the gift by like thrifting? Like, what is it like? How do you go in and just find the pizza? I be feeling like some people go and find better shit. I be like, how the fuck you find that?
SPEAKER_01But when you go in there, they be like, yeah, pick new pickups. What the fuck? What the fuck you talking about?
SPEAKER_03Where did you go? Let me like raw.
SPEAKER_02It wasn't that no, I ain't gonna lie. It's the Raw's lately been coming up. They got the Doc Mars and all that.
SPEAKER_03They go crazy.
SPEAKER_02Thrifting, I feel like it's just the one you go to. Okay. Like I feel like a lot of people go to Buffalo Exchange, um, yeah, Second Street, and it's a few. It's just I ain't gonna lie, some of them little like ones that people don't be, you can find some cool like benches, jewelry pieces, and all that in there. Cause sometimes some people don't know what they're throwing away. Right, yeah, exactly. Yeah, that too.
SPEAKER_03That's true. Now, with your brand, let's talk about your brand, because we all know, we love it. The hoodies, you know how we feel about the hoodies. And what made you come up with creator, but in a way it's spelled? So how you like, like, walk us through the whole process of creator, how you came up with your ideas.
SPEAKER_02Because I was just, I had, I had gotten to it, you know, going through my own mental stuff. Okay. And just fake, like, especially at the age, just figuring out what things was. Mom finally let me back in the house, and it was just like, you gotta do something. Like, you got no high school diploma, you not working. Well, I think I was working at the time. I think I was working at HM. Yeah, I was working at HM at the time. And it was just like HMK. Yeah, it was cool, but I wouldn't go back. And I'm just like, I gotta do something. Like, I don't know what it is I wanna do per se, but I at that time it was just like because I'm limited on my clothing, I didn't have much at that time. So I was mixing and matching, painting on shit, doing anything I can to just like keep my clothing up. So I'm like, you know, I'm gonna have to just make a clothing brand. And I'm just like, oh fuck, here we go. It's like you got the damn, you got the clothing brand idea, but you need a name. And I ran through everything in my brain possible until one night I got high. I said, I said, okay, because it was spelled with a K at first. And I'm like, nah, I don't like that. And I said, you know what? I'ma spell it in French. I'ma I'ma do it in French. But I'm like, I'm not doing no creative parents and no shit like that. Like that was the norm at one point. But I'm like, nah, I'ma just stick with creator. So once I stuck with that and I really liked the sound, I put my meaning behind it. Like, especially during that time, it was like really creating my own reality at that point. Because it's like over 18, not in school. I need some. You an adult. Yeah, so it's like it's go time. Like, you gotta figure something out at that point. So it was like it was me versus the world at that point. So I ran with, I told my mom, ex-husband at the time, I told my mom, and I'm like, listen to what I want to do. He took me to Foreman Mills, because we didn't know nothing about like print shops and nothing like that. Took me to Foreman Mills, my cousin at the time, he'd been printing like Amber my whole life. So he printed, I was just running with Creator. Okay. But I seen like how quick they was reacting to just basic brand t-shirts. But then you know, Philly moved over into its graphic design. Right, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Shout out to the designers. Yeah, literally. So I'm like, damn, they they done they done. They opened it up, right?
SPEAKER_02Like, now I gotta come with y'all. And I was sitting there and I'm like, damn, it's like, I'm gonna use the alien. And that's how the alien came about. Now I like just feeling feeling like that, even though nobody knows who aliens are and stuff like that. We don't, we know some most of people that believe in them like know they somewhere out here. But then it's like we really don't know at the same time. So it was that's kind of how I felt about myself. It's like people know me, then they don't know who me, don't know me at the same time, and then it's like how I feel is like I'm here on earth, but I also don't feel like I belong in certain areas or certain aspects. So it was like a very relatable thing with the connection to an alien. So I just I figured out how to put that together, put put it on hoodies, and I think that yeah, that everybody was spray paint on everything. Put the hoodies on the thing, spray paint, and it was just like up from there, and it was like never look back. It's like the only time I did have a setback is if like financially I couldn't attend to it. But other than that, it's like damn near nine years later, because the brand be nine in July, they still ask for release. That's what's up. So it be, I ain't gonna lie, it still hit me all the time.
SPEAKER_03I was like, damn, y'all still want something from damn near nine years ago. Like, cause you know, Philly, we love a certain study. Yeah, you know, it fits us, like the like the um the school thing. But us, like, you know, that's us, like Philadelphia School District. Like, we got the hottest shit. So when we like walking in the hallways or, you know, like people our age, that's like it touches our inner child in some way, especially with the colors. So it's like, damn, like I feel like collegiate a little bit, you know? So that and I feel like it's like a timeless look. You can't, like when you see, you know, a temple hoodie, you don't even necessarily gotta go to temple, but you're gonna wear it because it looked decent. Yeah, you know.
SPEAKER_02I even like I start seeing college stuff, like, you know, watching French Prince and Martin and stuff. Like, that's how sometimes I generate my ideas just from watching like old school shows. It's like they had some of the hottest shit. They did. You can reconstruct that to look like today's time, but still give old school theme at the same time. So I give my ideas from just like every like everywhere. It's like um, even um stocked up. Now I always always say like the world is your playground. Yeah, it's like every time you say it's like it's facts, because it's like everything around you can be used. Like even um one that that it always stuck with me, uh on Eight Mile, and him writing his raps and he on a bus, he's just looking at everything around him is like that's real shit. It's like everything around you can be put into something. So like that's how I kind of like design as well, and like outside of designing from what comes in my personal life, like every piece got a meaning behind it.
SPEAKER_03I loved it. So outside of your family, being you know, with us being from Philly, how do people react with you being trans to also being a designer? Like, how do people look at you? Do they look at you any different? Do they say like asking questions?
SPEAKER_02Okay, because it's like they they don't box me in one category because they know I don't box myself in one category. So it's like your hair person say he, your hair person say she, and I tell people they're right. That's it because it's not they're not saying anything wrong because at the end of the day, my name is Sanjay.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_02It ain't my pronoun, my name ain't a pronoun. So it's like it don't matter. Like to me, just long as you respect me, I'm not they don't disrespect because I don't disrespect nobody else. But pretty much they don't even it's like if I do post things outside of the brand or like my personality, they laugh at it. Like it's it's I I'm a joke to them because some people so used to just seeing me brand or post pictures. So when I do post my outside personality, it's like, oh shit, they act like this. Like I didn't even know they act like that for like because I've got all like all my life, oh, you've seen stuff up, and it's like shit, I'm the last person.
SPEAKER_03Like only you knew how I really act in the crib, you would not be saying that. And I can relate to that because people like, damn, can you be looking at me the whole time I'm about to crack a joke? Like, let's like I'm about to crack a joke, I'm about to be real quick, like just so we can lighten the move.
SPEAKER_02Like literally, it's like it's too uptight in here. Right. Like, let's let's let's a little bit.
SPEAKER_03That's what's up though. Now, with the music side, like you said, you born to the business, business part of music, right? So how do you tie that in within when you do your brand? How does the business aspect go hand in hand?
SPEAKER_02Reach out, I be like reaching out to like, and sometimes they reach out to me too, I'm not gonna lie. Really? Um more so artists, because I know like a few artists in the city, like personally, so I'll reach out, connect with them, or somehow, somehow, somebody see my stuff, and they'll come like ask me personally. I be getting shot, like, oh shit, bro, you gonna wear my shit? Like they be like, but it's like that's that's how I be feeling like oh shit, like you you really fucking with me, because like y'all can wear anybody else's shit. Like it, especially when you got money to go buy the biggest names and branding is but when they want to come, especially shop black own. Cause we all know how the black community can be sometimes. They get money and they get black owned sometimes. So but it it's always the big, it's always the big blessing, like always a big blessing. And I just like connected. So if it's like if I reach out and you were you respond, it's always like a blessing to me. Cause like y'all, y'all, I know y'all get millions of DMs a day. So to see mine and then like respond and just be like, it's go time. Like, I just don't live. It's like whether I can give it to you right in and there, but I'm gonna always double back, especially if I get like inventory in and I and I can give it to you. But sometimes too, I've had people buy it. Not even like on some looking for a handout, like, and that's always a blessing too, because people expect stuff for free, especially when they feel like you like especially when they're doing you a favor, they be feeling like like well, you're not paying me, so why I gotta pay you right.
SPEAKER_03That's crazy. Now, how do you take that though? Like when people feel like feel like so entitled to your brain, like how do you handle those kind of conversations?
SPEAKER_01I be looking like bro, forgot it.
SPEAKER_02Like no, like you gotta be like like people don't understand it's like we gotta pay bills too. Right. It's like it's not inventory not cheap, like, especially depending on how much you get in and what part of the world you're getting it from. Like now we done got hit with these tariffs and all that, so it's like you're not even just paying for the inventory no more plus the shipping. It's like you're paying for the inventory plus the shipping, then as soon as you get to the US, depending on how big your order is, you could be paying damn like $300 just for it to get to your front door. And it's like you just paid the full price for this joint. So it's like they think I don't I don't know. Some people look at it as like, oh, y'all accumulate all this money, but it's more money that goes out than it comes back in. If that's the case, you will see every brand owner at the top of the food chain. That's so true. And that's not the case because people are still, they have people, it's not every brand owner is not by themselves. People have a team, people have other people that they're paying photographers and all like me personally. I have a team. And one thing about me and my team, we stick together. Like, I have an amazing. Amazing assistant, and I have amazing models. Like, we are more family oriented than a team. If I need something, they call they come with no problem. Like, I have a team that literally shows up, and that's not every day that people get a team like that. So it's always a blessing. They've been rocking with me for the longest, and it's like one of those things where it's like we're forever locked in and tied in because it's more so really like family than us just like, oh, these are employees, or this is just my assistant. Like we love a team.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, literally. My assistant be on me.
SPEAKER_02Like, we gotta do X, Y, and Z. So it's like one of those things you need that. You don't need yes men around you all the time. Absolutely not, right? That's one of the biggest things that I love. I don't have yes men around me. I have people that's on me just as much as I'm on them. And one thing about my team, I tell them all the time, brand trop, do your thing. Like, as long as you call when as long as you answer when I call, especially if you can, it's like I don't want to take away from other dreams and things that you that you may have. Like, go do your thing because I want to be there chairing you on just as much as you here chairing me on.
SPEAKER_03Period. Now I hate the question, y'all. Sorry! No, I was gonna say, um, who do you want to work with within the fashion industry or just the industry overall?
SPEAKER_02Um well, definitely people from Philly. Like, definitely, because Philly got some fire ass designers. Like, fire. It's so many. Like, I try to narrow them down. I didn't interview one time, and it was like, I left the interview, like, god damn, I missed some people. But he asked me five, and it's like, I just named the five that I just like shot with recently off the like top of my head, but it's like I have so many because everybody does different things, but of course, like, you know, um, we'll love to work with Nye one day, we'll love to work with Cosmic Voyage one day, more so too, because we're in the same lane as far as like the rockets, the aliens, and stuff like that. So it would make sense. But as far as like designers, it's like outside of the Philly, and that's at the top. I don't even know. I don't I don't even know. I do want to work with Zenze Zendaya stylus though. I do. I forgot his name. Yeah, law, yeah, I do. It's like I don't know. I just want to see like his sense of like how he how he does it.
SPEAKER_03That's a good one though, because he knows how to put it together. Like he has this vision and he knows how to execute it perfectly.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like literally, like I uh I like seeing how he is with like different, even though he styles it there a majority of the time, but like when he does step out and work with other people, it's like, oh shit, bro, we put that together. Tiana Taylor is definitely. Yes, oh my god, that was so good, yes. One of them for sure. Her her just like creativity is just out of this. It's crazy. Like, it's definitely out of this one.
SPEAKER_03Like from the clothes to the film, yes, that's perfect.
SPEAKER_02That's I got like football, I got a few football players that I want to work with for these months, too. Yeah, like who do you want to work with? Um I would definitely have to say who my favorite from the Eagles, that'd be Fly. No, if I had to go top, top, I would definitely say Stefan. And if I had to go basketball, I would definitely say Shy. They be throwing that shit on. I can't think of the I can't think of the Eagles on top of my head right now, but I can't, I I know it's one of them though, but some of them, some of them uh football players and NBA players, they be flying. They be fine, bro. They be flying. Shout out to their stylists, and even if they don't have a stylist, shout out to them, because they be flying so but it's a few, like, it's a few. Like I see influences and stuff, like I can't wait to collab with and touch bases with. Like, they see me, I see them, so it's like uh we like each other's stuff here and there. So it's like I know one day the universe is gonna connect us and we'll be working.
SPEAKER_04That's what's it?
SPEAKER_02Even if it's not on some like style of type time, like I do get ready with me and all that. So I'm open to like just whatever, but I'd rather, whether you doing a photo shoot with me, we don't get ready with me, it's just like I don't mind working, like I'm open to work. That's decent.
SPEAKER_03Nemo, speaking of style, right? Jalen Hurts, I think it was his outfit, was it purple or something like that? He had like a Kango head to the uh Nino Brown shit. It was just crazy. Oh my god, bruh. Like I said, like it mind boggled me. I said, is he a fool? Like he got to the eagles.
SPEAKER_02I said, wow. It's crazy because like they say the way Houston is, is like he was like, so is it really like cowboys or what? Yeah, like what are you doing? Like, cause Jay looked a cowboy, but you hear Houston on the baby wild out there. So he's like, which one is it? But he do be he knew be having that dad Kango Kangoo. No, he does.
SPEAKER_03I was like and with the air ring, the air ring does it for me every time. I was like, oh, he ate that tin. Yeah, like that's my guy, though.
SPEAKER_01Jayla, like July, my guy.
SPEAKER_03Now I heard you mention that your mom lets you back in the house. Now, was this around the time you were homeless?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, she did. I got into it. We got into it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like what happened? How was it being homeless? What was that process like that?
SPEAKER_02It was it was a crazy process, but it was a learning experience. Um, you learn to appreciate the house. Yeah. You learn to appreciate, you know, the parents gonna be parents, yeah. It's like, and I've and I've had them conversations briefly with my mom. It's like, you know, the older I get, the more I understand. It's like me and my mom grew up together. My mom and me at 16.
SPEAKER_03So it's like we grew up together.
SPEAKER_02Lily, like that's my homie, right or wrong. Even when even when she came out, it's like if I'm calling, I'm hungry, she's coming. Like, it's like she ain't gonna let me be hungry. But it's like right now, just like we need our distance. And at the time, it's like I didn't understand, I didn't get it. It was more coming from an angry point of view. Especially I was dealing with stuff that I didn't know. Like, I didn't know what mental health and all that was at the time. I just know that like I was at my wits' end. But a lot of things that went on from a kid to now just like I was telling the I'm off the radar. Like, I don't know what's going on. I just know that I can't take nothing that's going on no more. So it led to a lot of like arguments and fights with family members, and even people outside, I don't know, four people outside, I didn't fucking know. Like just getting into it, like I I don't I wouldn't do it again though. Like, it's not one of those things, it's like it's not it. Like, regardless of what life got like had heavy going through, like if you could tame it a little bit, tame it. My mom was going through her own stuff too, right? Like just trying to hold it down as a single parent and taking care of me and my brother. So she did, she did the best, she did the best that she can, and I always gotta give it to her. Like, I gotta give it to her, like all the time. She she did a hell of a job, and she still doesn't mean that. Right you here, right. I had one of them parents that my daddy, he a great dude too. We have our own. That's about the extra buttons. How was your relationship? We have our own type of relationship. Um, but I'm more so like I my mom is that one. Like I one to about everything. I feel like I feel like my mom is like being 27, it's like I call, she coming, I called for something. If I don't got it, she'll she could she handle it. Like, even my grandmom is like, I got I got that village. So during those times that things were happening, it's like things it just everything's just all over the place. We was dealing with everybody just was dealing with a lot, and that's how I tend to look at it now. As I'm older, it's like I don't I don't regret nothing. Like some things you'd be like, ah, I wish I could go back and change, but it's like I wouldn't be who I am without without the experience, yeah.
SPEAKER_03And what's the one thing you took with you? Like, what did you learn during your mental health? And what did you learn like just going through the motions of like, okay, now that I'm out here, what do I do? Like, what was that like?
SPEAKER_02Honestly, it was a just learning to take things day by day. Like, I tend to get overwhelmed. Okay. And sometimes that can lead to you exploding and stuff like that. But I could relate.
SPEAKER_03I I it could be a lot.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it does. And sometimes life really do be a lot, especially when you feel like you just not catching no breaks at all. And I I've had those moments, it's like I felt like I wasn't catching no break. It was just like everything back to back. Back to back, right? And then dealing with like you gotta hear people in your ear like, oh, you don't have no diploma, you not doing this, you're not. One thing I did, I stayed with a damn job though. Come on. It's like I stayed with a job. Even if it was for a little bit of time, but I was going back to get another one. Like I was going to get another one, and I traveled too. Like, I took too far places to get like if I had to go to work, I had to go to work because I need the money. Right. It's like I gotta get there some way, somehow. I don't give a fuck. I'm trade. It's an experience though, because now I'm not doing that shit. Like I'm not, I'm not doing that. Like, I need to work somewhere that's a reasonable area because when I'm tired of going the house, going home. Right, yeah, that's it. Yeah, I'm going home.
SPEAKER_03I don't want no, I don't want no smoke, y'all get my money, and we're gonna go. I'm out. I ain't staying extra either. Period. Now, did you feel like you had more choices being outside than inside? Like, I know, like, you know, now I'm grown, I'm out the house, but like, did you feel like more of an adult than being, you know, home with your mom?
SPEAKER_02No. No, okay. I always felt like older. Okay. Like, one of my favorite, like, my favorite cousin is is like, and one of my favorite cousins at that is four years older than me. And we been thinking thieves since a kid. So I've always been around older people, and then I helped my mom, my younger brother. So I always had older responsibilities at a young age. So it's like being outside was just like, well, fucking more freedom. It's like that shit hard, but you ain't nobody tell you that. But it's like sometimes when you when you look back, you like damn, I kind of needed that structure a little bit. But one thing I did, I always listen to my elders. Like, whether I did exactly what they told me to do in that exact moment, I always took in. Because my grandma always tell me, like, you wise, like you too wise for a kid. And my friends tell me that shit now. It's like they come to me, everybody comes to me just about for everything. And it's like, some of you motherfuckers older than me.
SPEAKER_03Cause you were old soul. See, they like late. So I but I get it though. Like, I I don't I I advise people not to get advice from me. Like, I just be like, listen, I'm like, it don't work out. I like I be getting tired. Like, I be young, like, I'm 60. Like, I it don't work out my own.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, me and my brother, he he he he we get into it, but I just be one of the best for people. It's like when you get here in certain situations already, it's like, I know how this is about to play out. Like, it's gonna play out the right way, but it's like I ain't listened to the old head that told me that. Well, when I did it, it was gonna play out that way, and then played out exactly how they said it. So it's like I'm here to tell you it's gonna play out.
SPEAKER_03My dad be saying that he be like, listen, I'll give you answer A, don't go with B. Okay? Like, he be like, listen, this is a test. He like, you gotta go with A. You think you go with C, you're gonna end up going with D, you're gonna be in a whole lot of shit. Like, alright. And then I don't listen. And I get where he be coming from, because it's like, damn, like, this can't be a good thing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but I got to the point where it's just like, if I know you don't listen, I'll give you the answers you looking for. Do the messy shit that you gotta do. And this is me as the you know that's the made me remember that's egging the bullshit over because it's like if I tell you the right way, you're ain't even gonna listen to me. You only gonna you're gonna do the opposite of what I say anyway. So it's like I might as well just tell you the even worse shit to do because it's like you're fucking it though.
SPEAKER_03You like, hmm, you know what? I have an answer.
SPEAKER_01My friends be like, yo, you fucked up. And it's just like it's two sides to like I tried to give you the good side, try to tell you the right answer to doing. You know, this is the mother either. You take it or you leave it, buddy. Whichever you wanna do.
SPEAKER_03Like, yeah, I put it on the table. Okay, so we're gonna play a game. Well, you know the name of the game, Never Have I Ever. Yeah, boom. Wow, okay. Stop someone if they really hated the final direction they went.
SPEAKER_01It's crazy because I actually had somebody As soon as I see them, I'll be like, why did you put on that chat? How does that make you feel like pissed? I know you all. I'd be so pissed. I'd be so pissed, especially because I love him to death. Yeah, but it'd be like, why the fuck you wanna go? Sorry looking like that. But it's like, it's not bad, but I told you that.
SPEAKER_03Damn. Uh that was a good one. That was a good one. Cry in the studio making a song. I can't see you crying. I can't see that for you.
SPEAKER_02No, when my uncle died though, and I made my my little jum. That shit, that shit. Cause it's like when you say some shit for her, that shit you cry. It's like I ain't gonna hate. Like a little fun fact about me. I'm a cryer, like I'm a crybaby by something. I tell other people don't fucking cry because that shit gets the fuck with my dirt. Like, you cry for. But it's like, I don't know. Maybe it's like, I don't know. I feel like my sensitivity has like heightened as I got older. Cause it's me too. TikTok fucking does it to me all the time. I hate that shit.
SPEAKER_03It's like I'm crying for other people that's goddamn happy. Speaking of crying, oh my god. So, not to put my girlfriend on glass, but she's gonna sad for like the good life final old baby negative. And I'm just like, and I'll be looking over like I be ready for the tears. Oh my god. I think oh okay, so I'm always telling people this off camera for y'all. I'm gonna watch the rubber. When Tommy and Little Plug was gonna do anything, it was raining.
SPEAKER_02It's like one of my favorites.
SPEAKER_01So every time I watch him be like, oh my god.
SPEAKER_02That's why he be talking the way that he does at the end. Oh my god. Because he be talking to her directly because she didn't get to finish the last part.
SPEAKER_03You gonna listen to my life? I don't know. It's always TikTok, TikTok always gonna get you. You know what I'm saying? Okay, third one. I'm gonna cry. So wear an outfit that made someone stop you on the street. We just talked about it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, my uh, I don't know. Ever since I've been up in my style more. It's been like people just compliment. Sometimes I be wearing the most bullshit and be like, what the fuck is I want? That's how I beat them.
SPEAKER_03I'm just running around. Like and I feel like I'm not like a crazy fashionista, but I felt like back then when I would just like throw something on, that's when I got the most compliment.
SPEAKER_02But I always I've I've learned like I guess being around other people, like in my aspect or other artists or creatives, like we understand art just throwing on clothes. Other people be like, what the hell you got on? Why you got on? It's just like this shit go. This shit fly. Like literally you get around your other creators and be like, oh shit, that shit fly. It's like, see, they didn't know. See, they understand art, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03But we understand, we're like hero with it. Exactly. Talk someone out of an outfit they were sure about.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I can see you doing that. Yeah, 100%. You're not wearing that around me. Yeah, that shit crazy. We gotta be fly together. That's my whole pfft. You gotta be fly together. That's our whole thing. Listen, you can be not flying. I'm like, you right thing, you right. Like picking the outfit out for the kill off show, whoo, baby. I'm like, I got a head pink. I'm like, listen, we're struggling. We're struggling. Put a personal secret inside a song without anyone knowing. Nah, period. Yeah. I don't really know that. Dress someone for an event and watch from the sidelines wishing it was you. No, that's some hating ass shit. Yeah, that's a yeah, that's that's yeah, okay. You don't give me hater. Yeah, no. Uh my mama, shit, my mama be mad. She cussed me up with that. Right? I feel that. Okay, that was good. Boom. So, during your process and coming up within your brand, who do you wish saw their version of you today?
SPEAKER_02Both my uncles. Um, one of them didn't get to see the process at all. And he was like, touching my as my mom, brother, and he was like my number, like, especially when I play basketball. He was like, wait, yeah, my I need to bust your ass. So I always think about like, and my brand is is um close to his birthday. His birthday is July, uh July 20th. My brand is July 17th, so I always feel like do both around that time, but I always think about like how he would be right now when it comes down to the brand, especially like seeing it, being one like being able to see it all over or see it on certain people that you're around. So I always think about that. And then my dad brother, he got to see the process. We was actually supposed to collab, but that was one of the things that took me a minute to collab. Because it was like I was supposed to collab with a family member and it didn't get a chance to happen. So it was just like, especially somebody who they've been making clothes and t-shirts, RIP t-shirts, the hood, like you know, the normal before I was even born. So to jump into something that's his lane and being his and being his uh niece, it was one of those things where it's like now he asking me for advice, or he's asking me for things, so it was just like I always like wish that they could see exactly what I'm doing right now. Especially like my uncle, my dad, my dad uncle, we had like many deep conversations about like what I wanted to do about the brand and stuff. So I believe like the main two people that I'd be wishing that was here that could see what's going on right now.
SPEAKER_03And do you ever see yourself making a piece like specifically for them or like how do you carry the wicked back?
SPEAKER_02Like my one uncle, he's Muslim, so like I try not to like put his face on things and stuff like that. Like my other one go, I just do we like we got my me and talk about my DM, just keep on. That's what I said and not and not giving up.
SPEAKER_03That's cool. And where do you see the brand, your brand going within like maybe a year, five years, ten years?
SPEAKER_02Actually trying to start working on because the brand be nine this year, it ain't ten gonna come back. So I'm trying to like work on uh uh something big for the 10 10 years, but then like not probably not too much of a fashion show, but just something around that line to just showcase like how far I came and how how far I'm gonna go. Like I I plan on want to have like a store, but I'm cool with having like a studio, just you know, something for people to come shop until it gets bigger and just keep growing. But I just put my just came back outside, so I'm putting my feet back on land that working again. So that's one of my biggest things, is like branching out and moving into different directions, meeting different people and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_03Now, speaking of which people and fashion, how do you uh see the fashion industry changing?
SPEAKER_02Honestly, it's changing but not in a sense. It's like people are, of course, you know, pieces are remade, but I feel like now it's more of a oh, instead of because you know celebrities mainly have stylists, like except for a few. But now it's like people are now like literally styling themselves. You're getting to be able to see more of the creative ex creative expression expressions now in the fashion industry than person before. Like before you had it, don't get me wrong, but now it's like to another level. Like they want to take it to a whole another level with this join. It's it's something dope to see, honestly, just everybody coming together collectively. Like skateboard skateboarders is now like they been doing it, but it's like you see more people now, you know, stepping into different lanes, mixing the fashion with different things, not being afraid to step outside the box.
SPEAKER_03Now, would you ever go to New York Fashion Week and like you know, use your brand and create something totally different in New York? Because you know they be trying to compete with us, but yeah, how would you go into that field and like spruce it up or amplify it?
SPEAKER_02Honestly, I've been like sideline watching these last New York Fashion weeks, just going and looking around, not like just at the shows, but the people, the crowd, and the outside, you know, the influences and stuff. So it gave me a big respect on like you know, not just graphics and taking things to another level. But that's why I also came up with these idea, like, because it's not everybody, we have some people that don't wear aliens, so it's like I can't stamp that on every single thing, especially if I'm trying to branch out to other people. Like I've I've had older people wear myself, but then I've also had some older people say, you know, you got something without the alien. And it's all respect because people got different religions too. Yeah. So it like hearing you know constructive criticism or just taking feedback always gives me bigger ideas and how to maneuver. Like my my most humbling experience was a land of fashion. Uh no, a land of streetwear market.
SPEAKER_03Really? How was it?
SPEAKER_02It was amazing and it was a great, like, great experience because I really got to see like some of the best fashion. Like it's like you hear and you be like, Like, alright, the city fire. But then you go there, you be like, what the fuck? Like, this shit different. Like, the way that they set up, they they shop, everything is just like, I went back home on a jar more.
SPEAKER_03Like, ain't no like a whole new clean.
SPEAKER_02Okay. I did like the fact that he still fuck with my shit. Like they sold me out, they cleaned me out. So it was like Atlanta, I fuck with y'all and I always like I got people tell us they like when you come back, yo, you come back to the city. Atlanta, so it's like Atlanta like a second home to me. It's like I got friends and family down there, so I tend to branch out to do different things. I say I'm going down there for one thing, I end up on a whole nother side of Atlanta. So it's just be like, I I don't know, just going different places makes me see different things and it brings me back to the drawing board every time to just like, you know, you can go this way too. Just, you know, create the world differently.
SPEAKER_03Now see, I love your passion and I love how you really take it serious. Do you see yourself on a fashion show? You know, do we see that? Okay, yeah. Cool, cool, cool.
SPEAKER_02Honestly, I be thinking about walk in and do this shit. Yeah, I do. Like, I like I'm I'm learning to be more like out with myself. Okay. So it's like I be like that.
SPEAKER_03Shit fun. Like, that's what it is to me. Now, would you ever do a competition? Like, would you go on TV, do a competition, and really just have fun with it? Yeah. Okay, okay. It's just like, yeah, I'm here for the experience. Right, yeah. That's cause I know a lot of people, you know, of course they need it because they want to win, but like, how would you go about this?
SPEAKER_02It's like, it's just like when lose draw, I don't give a fuck. I'm here. Like, I cause it's like you're gonna hear the good, you're gonna hear the bad. So it's like it's publicity at the end of the day. It's like, I got a mom to get the hell up out of hood. Right, yeah. Like, I'm not trying to go on TV and make a fool out of myself, but it's like experience, as long as it ain't nothing stupid, it's like I be down to do stuff.
SPEAKER_03That's what you said. Now, you also said, I keep saying now. Hold on, pause. That's ridiculous. Okay.
unknownWho?
SPEAKER_03Okay. Now, I still said it. I still said it. With your mom, well, your family being your inspiration, and I love how you mentioned the shows like Fresh Prince, you know, and Martin. Who else did you get inspiration from when it came to fashion? Shit. Bro. Yes! Oh, that's a good one, period. Yay.
SPEAKER_02Um, because I used to watch a lot, like, a lot before. Um even with uh like even with like the females, like like the way um they had Destiny Chow style, um Sierra at one point in time. Um even with Nelly with his own swag with the band and uh the band-aid on his face. It's like I I look at everybody like swag like differently. So it was just like ah, everybody got a certain, you know, a certain aesthetic. I gotta maneuver with all of this into one. So it was just like, I just I don't know. It was just like I always had a thing because it's like, yeah, the music fire, but I like what y'all got on too. Like I'm also like studying what was in the like in the music videos and what they had.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I was gonna ask you about that too, because um when I think about like old music videos, especially like SWV and Jodicey, I was thinking about this documentary um that I saw on Netflix, and no Diddy, but Diddy's uh ex-wife, uh what was what's the son he got? Justin Combs. What's the what's the boy's name?
SPEAKER_02Uh what's the damn what's the light skinned one with the curly top?
SPEAKER_03And his mom is a uh stylist.
SPEAKER_02Oh, um, she married she married J Blah. They was like, Yeah, yeah, they was damn. I forgot her name. I like some something.
SPEAKER_03You know what's that we're talking about? Yeah, so it made me think about her because I like how you saying how you got your inspiration from music videos, and it made me think how she was styling Jodice and SWV, like in those baggy clothes and stuff like that. And people just gravitated towards it so fast.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like uh I like um kid and play look and crisscross. Like, I like I can see you doing like a crisscross look, okay. I don't know, I'm old school. They had they had they was saucy, like they know they was. Will I go like Will and Martin, they had that shit on. They had that shit on. It was like that's how I even got into the Jordans. Like outside of like my dad being a sneakerhead.
SPEAKER_03Martin definitely was adorable.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like what's those?
SPEAKER_03Like, I think he was the only, so you know the sneakers that say air. Yeah. I feel like Martin, the only person I've seen pull them off, like so good.
SPEAKER_02And my ex and my uncle, honestly, my mom, other brother. He's uh like my uh my uncle that died, my mom, brother, and their other brother, they are Irish as well. Really? So he tends to like when he talks to him, he's real black, and how he dressed, and he's a real skateboarder. Like he draw and all that, so he's more artistic. He taught me a lot, like the stuff that skateboarders wear more or big posse and all that. Like, I learned a lot from Uncle Chris. Like he taught me a lot, so as far as like fashion too, and he's more like a real like simple chill boy, but he's gonna put it together just in his style. So that's how I learned a lot of like outside of like already knowing who Tony Hawk and all of them was and stuff like that. It's just deep that depth into like the skateboard fashion. I learned through him. That's what's funny. That's how I I know nothing about no zoomies until he put me on.
SPEAKER_03Oh my gosh, I never heard of Zoomies is solo. Yeah, that's why I used to get all my money at one point. And I used to be really into the skateboarding thing, and I love how everything has its own lane, but also we could all relate to it in a way and put it together, especially in our style. Like, I never thought I'd be wearing baby shirts. I never thought I'd be wearing shorts.
SPEAKER_02At one point, I used to be like, I wore the jaw and then people start, we we got into the skinny, the skinny jeans and like that was a time.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and I don't I don't really like who's the guys, oh, I feel like I'm getting old. I keep asking, like, who was them dudes again? Uh new adjurt. Yeah, boys.
SPEAKER_02New boys.
SPEAKER_03I told my mom, I said, Mom, I gotta get up here and I'm checkered pants.
SPEAKER_01They had all of them colored skinny jeans and they made colored skinny jeans cool.
SPEAKER_03They did, and I went into Free Airy. I'll never forget this. If anybody remember when Free Erie opened and remember your girl Ken Low, I hit on that corny-ass green shirt with blue checker skateboard jeans, no pants, and I hit on these orange and blue like Adidas or something. That was the corniest shit I ever heard. Yeah, they fly shit. It's flying shit to be like, and I just thought I was doing it. They like, hey, where you get your pants from? I'm like, you got the that's how you got to go find that yourself.
SPEAKER_02Anytime somebody brings up like middle school, middle school, elementary school, yearbook, and they had it in there, like I was fly. I be looking back, like, what the fuck? What the fuck was that?
SPEAKER_03And I used to be a person too, they used to tuck their shirt, and I'm like, what is this that I'm going for? You know, why am I always tucking in my shirt? Like, what aesthetic am I striving for? That shit was ass. I was really trying to like get it together to find myself. I'm like, yo, this is corny. And speaking of style, what was your best in your worst outfit?
SPEAKER_02I think the worst outfit when I had a haircut. The haircut itself was just the worst.
SPEAKER_01I don't think I ever go back to cutting my big love ever again. I don't think my best.
SPEAKER_02Honestly, I don't know. Cause you got a lot of fur fits. That's what I look like. Oh no.
unknownShit.
SPEAKER_02Damn. I think I think some of the stuff I've been putting on recently. Yeah, this one right here. We love it. Love it, deal. It's like, I don't know. I guess it's like, I don't know, I'm growing a lot more with the style, so it'd be kind of hard. I don't I don't know. One of my favorite lately been I've been denim on denim lately.
SPEAKER_03I love me a denim on denim den.
SPEAKER_02I don't know. The first joint I did was the denim with the long ass jorts. And it was just like, that that wasn't even plan. That joint wasn't even plan. I just was I needed a jacket to put on a jacket and I'm going with the jacket. It's always the jacket. I thought it was just me. It's always gonna be the jacket. So I'm like, I don't know, that's probably one of my favorite ones lately. It was just so calm and so chill, but like me at the same time. And speaking of jackets, would you make a creative jacket? Like a jean jacket?
SPEAKER_03Would you do that?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I would. I actually made coats. I made coats. Um, I gotta go back. I gotta go back to him, but I would. I made um, I made an alien jean jacket one time. I think I made one, that's how I I got uh became cool with FA Snoop and I made it for her. And I made the hell out of that jean. I ain't gonna lie to you. I don't even think I could recreate that to this day. Sometimes I have a problem, like that's why I only like doing custom work because depending on where my mind is at mentally while I'm doing it, I may give you the most fire piece ever, but then trying to recreate that, John, is just like it's like I gotta remember what I did step by step. And once I get like I get overwhelmed, like man, fucking.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, show you I can't tell us about this fit. Cause you cause when you came in, we like, yeah, that's the one. Now to the head, how it matched the hoodie, the shirt, everything. So tell us what you think of behind it.
SPEAKER_02I had these jeans. I had these jeans. Not actually supposed to wear these jeans next week because I'm I'm going out next week. But I'm like, no, I'm gonna don't eat jeans next week. Well, shit, I paid for it, right? But I don't know, Tim's. I've just been on my Tim thing lately. And honestly, I ain't feel like looking for nothing else. So I've been giving you like these is right here. It's either these or this ricks, or these other pair of ricks, and I'm I don't feel like wearing either one of them. I do the Tim. I'm like, the Tim's gonna go either way because it's the butter. So I just like, man, I need a hat. I went over, what was I, snipes? I was gonna grab a Philly, a Philly PAC. I just tell them broke. If I wasn't doing this, I'd be at home watching baseball right now. Like I was, I said, I looked at that, I said, man, I ain't spending $52 right now. I'm just not doing it. I've I chalked the hat. This is the first time I wore my hair down in a while. For the last couple months, I've been rocking a ponytail. I looked up, I'm on the phone, man. I can't find a fucking hat, dog. It ain't got nothing for me. I'm like, I'm not trying to spend $52. Cause this the Philly hat wasn't really the one that I wanted. So I'm not really prone to like spending bread that on shit that I really don't want. Like, if the price is talking, it's cool, but it's like this was a cool draw, but I didn't want that big ass World Series drawn on the side of my head. So I'm like, I always gonna get it if it was if I'm like, nah, 52. I need something I'm really gonna want. I look up, I see this shit. I said, damn, I think this shit. Oh, so perfect. Like I'm like, even if it don't, fuck it, I'm still gonna. Anyway. And I just it's like, fuck it. I just learned how to tie tie. And I've been tying, I've been tying that door to my lighting. So I'm like, fuck it, we're just gonna rock out like this. I'm gonna give school real skip class.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I love that. I love it.
SPEAKER_02Like I'm here when I'm not.
SPEAKER_03How does it feel to keep navigating when you know you have to grow from certain people or certain environments? It's it's gonna hurt.
SPEAKER_02It's gonna hurt because it's like you could really love that person, whether it's friends or family. And sometimes, you know, it's sad you don't wanna cut family off because they family, but sometimes your own family don't want you to win. Sometimes that's real. And I ain't saying mine's don't, because I know. Yeah, not mine on me. But it's real though. It's real, it's it's real. It's like, so it do be hurt, but you you really just gotta keep moving. Like, it's like I always look at it as if it's meant to be a comeback. But you gotta know, because some shit, some shit come back, and it was not said, okay. The right way. But you just you literally just had to keep shake that pain up and just keep it pushing. Right, right.
SPEAKER_03That's a knowing, you know, taking that with you. How do you so say we go through like a creative block, right? How do you come up from that? Especially within vision.
SPEAKER_02Getting back out to the world. Okay. Because sometimes too, people, we go through creative blocks where we are not just, you know, creatively blocked out from creating. We be creatively blocked out from everything. So sometimes it's like if you don't get like touch base type of person, sometimes you need to go back out. Like sometimes I ain't gonna lie, just sit there, sometimes just listen to the birds chirping, it gives you a creative sense of direction, or just like me, I'm I'm big on just sitting there. Sometimes I probably need like a couple weeks in silence. Like not too much noise, not going out. Nah, I just need me and my thoughts because I need to hear collectively, like what's the next step? Sometimes you can't hear or see where you're going with so much chaos around you. So it's like being in that, it's like you just gotta refresh and just use everything around you like to be your playground to zoom, baby. We didn't really know.
SPEAKER_03And what would you say to a kid that wanna be living in their sexuality, whether they're lesbian, gay, or trans? What would you tell them, especially in a creative environment, how to handle, you know, anybody that may reject them, that may, you know, talk about them. What would you tell them?
SPEAKER_02Honestly, I read um rejection is a is a new direction. Period. Um and just be you. I feel like I done walked in places that they told me I could not walk into or I could not do by being me. I done heard it so many times before I even decided to get my GD back in January. Oh, you got it this January? Yeah. Yeah, I got it. I got it this January. And I done heard so many. You can't get this job, you can't. Who are you in the tell me? Who are you to tell me that, right? I'm gonna get what I want. And if the man above bless it and it's my pad, then it's gonna fall into my lap. I done proved people wrong so many times.
SPEAKER_03That's what's up. I loved it. And boom, the G E D. So when you so did you drop out or you just was like I did. Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_02Financially. Okay. Um, it's not something that my mom wanted me to do. And it's like any parent don't know. Yeah, of course. But of course, at that particular time, it just was just so much like going on. It was like I need the bread, like I need the money. So it was an executive decision. I tried, I did, you know, I went to other alternative schools. I I took the nice, like, I didn't just say, you know, fuck this, I'm I'm not doing it. I definitely took the necessary steps, but it was just like now I'm working full time too, so it's like I had man, like I had dumbass managers too. Like they'll put me on the schedule at a certain time, knowing I gotta be in class.
SPEAKER_03I hate shit like this. Like, don't play with my schedule.
SPEAKER_02And then then and then, like, really a plane where I don't know what you gonna do, then it's just like, but yeah, they they played with me like that. They definitely play with my. Oh, so just fuck me. Cool. Like in my education, so it's like the more y'all pressured me to do it, the more y'all forced me back from it. Yeah, so I kind of like it. Yeah, I need to do it on my time. And last year it was just like I started in December.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_02And I wanna, I don't know, it was one of those things where it's like I had to keep taking it at the same place. It's like it was, I don't know. I kept asking when I'm doing it. It's like as soon as I went somewhere, I was like, uh, you only get three times to take once, like, one subject. So if you fell twice, you'd be like, yeah, three times motherfuckers. Alright. And that's how, like, that's how it was. It was like the when you're not doing seconds, I didn't take no classes. I just told myself I was going through a real, real mental breakdown. And I said, you know what, talk this. I'm I'm going to all I just give me my G D. Yeah. Just give me, like, just give it to me. Like at this point, I'm ready, and this is what I want to do. And making that decision on my own. I know that felt good. It did. And it was one of those things like when I seen that damn score come across. Right. I do.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because that's a that's a huge accomplishment. Like, you gotta think about it, especially at your age. Like, I know for me, I was scared to do anything against my parents. Like, like, cool, I'm here for the whole, you know, thanks for the food and all that. But what if I do want to drop out? You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't know, like what if I don't want to go to school? That was never an option. So just like I really commend people when they make, you know, huge decisions at young at a young age. So I can only imagine like how you felt. Like, we how did your mom feel when you got your GED? She was happy. I love you.
SPEAKER_02She was happy. She um, because I was I was actually on the phone with her. Because when you take, you know, you can't have your phone or nothing like that. It if they lock your phone up. So they were serious. I was on some like, man, but I'm trying to get this done. I need three subjects in one day. I took the first two, and I'm not gonna lie, like, when you focus so much on life, you forget what the hell was school.
SPEAKER_01I was at that damn computer screen, stretched the hell out. I was stressed. I said, yo, what's I said, you know what? C.
SPEAKER_02Like, especially when I got down to the last few joints, I started getting tired because like I was here and they're at eight o'clock in the morning. I'm getting done around like one. And they they asked you, like, you need a break? No. Just get about to break, bro. I'm going one go home. So it's like, nah. So you get the first one. I remember I went to the car, and because I took the first test, the results was ready first. And I was like, I had to film I was gonna pass that. Like, it was one of those on social studies, like, ah, I knew I was gonna pass that. It's like, I'm glad I did, but it's like, huh. And I'm on the phone with mom and I'm talking to her, and I'm like, oh my fucking God.
SPEAKER_01Like, oh my fucking God.
SPEAKER_02Like, she like, what? You passed it? Like, yeah. And I had two more. And then I don't know the writing. It's like I haven't wrote an essay in so long. So it's like everything was cool. And they smack you with this essay, j'aimerais. My heart is like in my damn chest, like, how do I write this, y'all? And then my head is like, just make all this shit long run on sentences.
SPEAKER_03It's funny you said it, like, that was how writing started for me. I started the story one word and we're gonna get to the end, period. Like, we're just gonna go. So I definitely like when I was in second grade, I never forget. My teacher was like, this is a run on. I was surprised honest, I passed the math because who I count some money, but I didn't.
SPEAKER_01What the fuck are you talking about? How the hell did you get X plus? What are you talking about? I hate man. Like that. So it was just like, uh, and then like when I I finally did third time the charm.
SPEAKER_02And you should have done it. Nah, I went up. I was I was so happy because I was like, if I I gotta wait three months, I'm like, I'm not trying to by the time I'm not gonna do this shit again. So I'm like, man, we going in there. I ain't telling the soul what I'm about to go take. Because that was another thing too, is like sometimes I felt like when I said something to people, it threw me y'all because people was expecting me to come back with that pass, but it felt good to the pass off word of them subjects. That's what's up. And know that I could do it too. I knew that I could do that shit. I just was nervous because I ain't been in school with that. Right, long took me near six years to get here. So it was just like it felt good, honestly. And I know she was happy, and I know like my dad, he he such a gay son. So it was just like Yeah, dad's that's that's how they hear right. He like he, you know, he do the little sentimental thing. My mom, she was like, especially because she knows like everything that I've been through, everything that me and her been through together. So it was, and honestly, like my siblings was my motivation. It's like my sister, she she, you know, I'm the oldest out of all of them. So is you know, my sister had hurt her hurt my knees, so that's you know, a plus outside of her own personal things. My mom wasn't having that with my brother. It was the one already, the one already already finished.
SPEAKER_03I feel that's how I do though. They be like, all right, like I let you slide and come on.
SPEAKER_02So it was just like watching my sister, watching my sister do it and watching my brother do it, and then my other siblings and stuff. It was just like I got, you know, I got one getting ready to be finished soon, high school, and then my dad, you know, daddy chills. So he got he got two youngest ones, so they they got a long way to go. But that's you know, watching, especially watching my brother, because once my mom moved to Delaware, he was in Delaware school.
SPEAKER_03And she moved too, so she moved out the city and everything. That's what sucks.
SPEAKER_02So it was like, she was like, you come, you going. Right. I can go. Because at that time it was like the brand is moving so much. Yeah, I understand. And I didn't drive yet, so it was like, who the hell is gonna keep bringing me back and forth? But I I took that, I took that step, you know, and and did what I had to do. So it was just dope to see her, my and my grandparents and all that just like, you know, be super happy. And it's basically literally, that's all they wanted from me, honestly. Which is they like, you do everything else, you're so smart and this and third.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I was about to say, I was so proud to see your brand flourish. You know, they see you flourishing as a person.
SPEAKER_02It'd be feeling good to see them brag, like, you know, okay, P Ree just. Well, I love my mama talking about me. She did she be telling her, she be telling her uh, she be telling her little friends, they yeah, my granddaughter do this, she do this, yeah. She got a good make sure you do that. Like, I don't, you know, I do the same for her because she got cancer. So when she made her positive, yeah, she she's been fighting, um, she's been fighting, started out with breast cancer and shit for like 12 years. And then she's still fighting. Still, and she just found out the other day, you know, she got sun in her lungs, so that kind of like altered me a little bit because it's like you know, I'm I'm the first grandchild on my mom's side, so it's on my especially for my grandmom's sort of just like what the hell? Like, I'm you know, I'm I'm gangster with most things it's like I gotta stay up for you because I see you. It's like you look at her grandma and be like, Cancer, where? The lady that lives an outside life more than me. Yeah, I'm about to say she probably be outside living. That's gone.
SPEAKER_03That's like that's like the cure for any sickness, it's like happiness. Literally, like she just be gone.
SPEAKER_02Her and in front of her friends, they go to the hall on Sunday, you know, I check their location. She breaking somewhere. They go every day.
SPEAKER_03She got a reason to go outside. It's like trying to my grandma though, because my grandma never every time she ain't text me back. Because I'm making a thing to text her every morning. So when I don't get that text, I'm like, oh, you're being broken.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, my dad, my dad mom, she she definitely texts me out. That's that's that's my roleie right there. Like I love like I love my grandparents. Like it's just it's it's hard to be like who to favor because it's like they look out for me as much as I look out for them. They don't really be trying to accept shit. It's just like now my mom, mom, you buy a bag of chicks. She takes some gifts now. Like but my dad mom, she really be like on something like I want y'all to succeed. That's how my grandparents are y'all. But they they they they they my they my favorite people. Like I love the I'm glad I'm one of them kids that listen. You know, as much as you didn't want to hear about TikTok, I'm kind of a guy that listen and teach you in the long run.
SPEAKER_03For sure. Now the word I would describe everything that you went through is definitely resilience. Now, how would you describe resilience in your world? Especially after everything. A K G E D, because that is a great accomplishment.
SPEAKER_02Uh I don't know. I don't know, because I feel like I be feeling like I be winging it. Like yo.
SPEAKER_03Yo, as a person that only thinks, I just like I really commend people that be like, yeah, I just did it. I'll just be like, oh, like I gotta just please.
SPEAKER_02Like I just be getting up and be like, no, I gotta get this done. Like I got like it be, like, it be certain things like I ain't gonna lie, like uh some I am procrastinating. I don't know, maybe just the Aries thing, because I know. Most of us do procrastinate, but I will get it done. I be feeling like I'm better than some though, because I be being some, like, what the fuck you're not gonna say at all? But then it's just be like, you know, but I don't know. It just I suffer from a lot of my own health issues. Really? So like getting out of bed some days be harder than others. It's not like I wouldn't even know. Yeah, obviously, sometimes like I had it yesterday, I was so happy, but I'm like, damn, my back not hurt, my neck not hurting. It's today. I woke up today, like, oh shit. Here we go. Like, I but you made it here, that's a blessing. That's a blessing. Like that that's like that's the one thing is like I gotta get up. Like, that's that's the biggest thing. Like, I gotta get up. You gotta keep moving, especially, you know. Like, I ain't even like TikTok humbling my ass too. I be complaining and I see somebody else fighting something like time to shut up. Like, you you know, some people out there fighting bigger battles than you, but honestly, it's just like I think my biggest thing, because everything else could be worked out, you like the common denominator, whether good or bad in your life. So I think the biggest thing to me is just like health, honestly. Just get like fighting through this shit. This shit be a pain in the ass.
SPEAKER_03No, it does. No, it's like.
SPEAKER_02Always tired for no reason.
SPEAKER_03Oh, today I was on and I'm like, I got shoes today. You gonna get it done. You gonna get it done. And on the positive note, we have another game. Boop, boop, boop. Okay, hold on, y'all. Boop boop. Oh, great. Okay, here we go. Finish the sentence. Who got hooves on? The most underrated thing about being trans is that was good. Told me it was good.
SPEAKER_02You could be multiple people. Like, cause I feel like outside of my trans home, it's like I'm the more. Like, I give you both. Like, okay. I don't, I'm still in touch with my feminine side. I love that, okay. And I'm very in tune with my masculine side, and I like my trans friends are really adamant when they pronouns. Like, they are he's. Like, don't you? Oh, they stick to that, yeah. Okay. Don't you dare say shit. Yes. Like me, I'm on the other hand, like, okay, and what you said, like, I'm not, I don't care. Cause it's like sometimes it's like I put female and shit. My damn driver's license say ex. Oh, I'm not sure. I use male sometimes when I'm just like depending. It's like you I call somebody and they be like, sir, I'm going with it. I'm not about to argue with you, just oh, just say I'm X or nothing like that. No, because people don't understand it. Like, they don't understand. I see people look at my idea and be like, so what'd you like? And it's like I can't put L in. So it's like, go whatever one you want to go with. Like, whatever. Like, I don't, my biggest thing is like, I don't care. Right. Like, that's like me, especially too. It's like I got younger siblings, they don't look at me no different. They don't even know what the hell is going on. They just love me. And that's and that's what it is. Like, and even like beautiful feeling. Yeah, it is. It's like, it's it's one of those things where like they don't see none of that. It's like they would have to literally be taught that.
SPEAKER_03Your family is so supportive.
SPEAKER_02I love it. They is. It's like, and they haven't, they have, they like my mom, and she will daughter, daughter, daughter, daughter, daughter. And it's honestly like, yup, yup, yup, because it's like my biggest thing is for 27 years, that's how she knew me. Exactly. Right. And I and I'm I love my family too much to even argue some goddamn pronouns. Like, I'm it's like we've done been through bigger stuff, and there's bigger things going on out here to be arguing about some shit that I'm not, I'm not being disrespected. I don't feel no disrespect about it. It is what it is.
SPEAKER_03I love how you put that because a lot of people bring, you know, disrespect and respect into the can't, you know, to the whole LGBTQ, and I'm just like, we have to be, we have to remember a lot of people didn't grow up, you know, very accepting. You know what I'm saying? Like, when I came out, it was hard, you know, for my family. But today it's just like, well, that's Kennedy. Like, they they didn't forget the silly side. They didn't forget, you know, the person I am outside of being bisexual. When I came out, it wasn't like well, it was crazy, but it was just like as I got older, I'm just like, this meal. It's like I'm not gonna change my soul, but I'm glad that they didn't forget who their daughter was. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_02Like, and that's the biggest thing with like like my parents is like I love them just as much as how they don't like it don't change. Like, I don't care about none of that. I got what I wanted. I'm so happy. Like, my friend, my one friend, we like twins, and like you really would think we'd be we're like siblings because we look so much in life. But they would tell you, like, when I had poops, it took me forever to get dressed. Really? Because I was not comfortable. Okay. Like with shirts and stuff like that. So it's like, I got my biggest part done. Like, even with my medicine, I started taking the testosterone. I'm not about to keep fucking sticking myself in no goddamn needle. That shit hurt. Like, I don't, I it hurt like sticking yourself in the stomach every week, that shit hurt. So it's like I felt bad for that. I got my neat voice that I wanted. Yeah, but it's like I got it out of it. So it's like everything else, it's like you call me what you want to call me. Just don't disrespect me. When you start saying everything out of my name or he, she, they, them, that's when we have a problem. You start calling me all type of bitches and all that. Like, that's the problem. You say it online, say whatever the fuck you want to say. But to my face, but to my face is a whole different bug. I don't forget I got this brand real quick.
SPEAKER_03Because it's like a light switch. And I understand, like, so I got trans homies too, and I'm the type, like, if you misgender them, I'd be like, all right, let's pause. Yeah, let's really be it, let's pause. Let's doler back, because I know you didn't mean it, but we have to be respectful.
SPEAKER_02Literally, like, I have something that's so serious, like, they don't, they're not non-binary trans like I am. So it's like they are full transfer. Yeah, that's what they meant. Like, they're meant to be. They meant that they take that FTM seriously. That's what's so it's like I anybody that I bring around them is like, listen, even if you've known them a certain way, this is who they are today. Exactly. Because I've had like mishaps certainly, because like I've got to be. Yeah, me too. It had to be. But it's like, oh, but now I'm like years into it.
SPEAKER_03It's like, no, that's he. And and while we're on the topic of sexuality, I know this is a game, but it's going, it's going so good. So people don't know that I'm by until I see it. Because I'm always masculine presenting, and people always see me with a girl. But it's you wouldn't even know until we like, I'm like, yeah, I would have a baby father. They be like, what, can? Like, I'm just like, that I say something taboo, like I'm confused. Like, so even me sitting like right like this right now, if I post a picture, I'm gonna get a whole nother attitude. It's gonna be men. It's gonna be a whole nother, like people don't understand sexuality, and I forgive those people. Don't take me seriously, yeah. That's the thing, though.
SPEAKER_02They they be like, like your chest is your chest, right? But your face is another thing. And it's like they see face, and I'm like, you're gay. Yeah, that's gay. That's gay, boom. Like, you're so gay. Like, I never said I was bisexual, bro. Like, you're so gay.
SPEAKER_03Like they be like, but you're still a woman, but I just think that's gay. Like, why would you put a masculine visit in person, bro? Like, queen, blank. No, that's so funny. Now we being a thoby from Philly. I'll be like, all right, you kind of a queen, my girl. So what Philly taught me to finish the line? Philly taught you what? It says Philly taught me blank. Now finish that line. Philly taught me. What did it teach you?
SPEAKER_02Shit, how to be hard as nails.
SPEAKER_01You can't have those socks how to be a girl. Like, yo, seriously. I damn, I want to be soft.
SPEAKER_02But then you from Philly.
SPEAKER_01Right. I'm like, oh, get over.
SPEAKER_03You can't like her. Like, it's like, alright, bro, I'm trying to keep it cute, but you take it like that. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02It's like when you travel, it's like, damn, you can't be soft because other people be soft. But then as soon as you get back to the airport and you see Philadelphia, it's like tough skin. It's like you gotta be it, it changes so fast. You never know what's gonna come out somebody's mouth in the city of Philadelphia. So it's like you gotta be prepared for everything. And I think that's why they kind of like hate me in my comments when I be trolling back, because it's just like I'm not from one of these soft ass cities. Right. Like, I'm I'm gonna say something bad. You know, but you go to New York, bro.
SPEAKER_01They would have called you.
SPEAKER_03I don't think I'm gonna ever argue on the bike from New York. Y'all didn't.
SPEAKER_02They said they wanna argue people from Philly. They said our mouths is too bad.
SPEAKER_03Because, see, the thing is, we joke too much, like we play too much within the insult. So it's just like not only did I insult you and I did it good, now I gotta laugh in your face. Now your feelings is hurt, and you about to go cry about it. See, that's the see that's really shit. Yeah, we get in trouble because of that. Yeah, like I don't even want no smoke with you. Like, I'm definitely gonna rub it you, dickhead, but I'm gonna want no smoke. I got it. My style is basically staying blank without opening my mouth.
SPEAKER_02What can you want to say? I am who I am. I am what I am.
SPEAKER_03That's what's up, okay. Cause you don't really go for a different like a certain aesthetic. You just kinda switch it up. Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_02I don't like being in the box.
SPEAKER_03No, I feel you. That's a good joint. The song that made me realize I was actually good at this is um It's a Mary Day Blige song.
SPEAKER_02Oh I gotta know this one. Damn. Take me as I am. Come on. You really come on. Yeah, take me as I am. Take me as I man, I was in Mary. I was in Mary Day Blaz concept with the aunties having a ball. Like, I was just telling you. That's one of my uh that's one of that's one of them artists that my mom played all the time. It's one of them artists that was like, even as a young age, you know, when you go through something, you can connect. And it's just like it's like I understood the lyrics then, but I really understand them drawings now. But I don't know that song just always stuck with me because it's just like this who I am. It's like you either got me or you got nothing at all. It's like I'm willing to change a few things, but I'm not changing me for nobody. You like me or you love me. So I don't have a problem with that. I don't mind being hated.
SPEAKER_03People always think I am blank, but I am actually blank. Stuck up. And I'm actually silly as hell. It'll be like, fuck all y'all. So how do so when people okay, do people just be like, or do they be afraid to talk to you? Because I don't talk. Yeah, you real quiet, I can tell you.
SPEAKER_02Like I'm re-in the room, like I'm scanning. Like it's like I'm I wanna make sure you're cool enough to talk to. Like, you might not even fucking like me, and I'm staying with you, like, or you just like might be rude, and um, I'm first thing I say you ignorant, so that's just like so. I just get in the room, and then once I feel comfortable, it's like you gonna see it. But lately I have been like kind of like coming out my show a little bit.
SPEAKER_03So is that that season you went like coming out more than that? Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_02Just like just being like not reserved. That's what's they say using my free will.
SPEAKER_03I'm using it. Come on, we already gonna do enough. This is America. Let's just have fun. We're gonna do enough. Okay. The version of me from three years ago would be blank right now.
SPEAKER_02Proud of myself. Come on. Very, very proud of myself. How I handle things, how I move differently. Like, you know, they always say you're villain somebody's story, and I know I'm villain to go.
SPEAKER_03I just said it the other day, and I do not care no more if I don't. It's like, yo, you probably got me at the wrong time of life. Right. Meet me again. See, at least at least you young, but also mature enough to understand it, you know? So, hey, fuck it, be a villain. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Now look, more you watch superhero movies, you more understand these villains.
SPEAKER_03Come on. Like, it's a reason why I did this, y'all. Like, literally. Cause they my dad used to say the devil once was an angel. Yeah. Oh, I always listen, that's that's them, that's some real shit. Some people be having to stop taking advantage of nice people. Come on. Fuck your way. Now that's the end of the game, but I got a great question for you. Just be going this off real cute, real nice, okay? Let me stop, let me stop y'all. What is the biggest advice or greatest advice that you would give a creative, whether that creator be straight, trans, you know, anything? What's the greatest advice that you would give them? And it no matter what field they are in.
SPEAKER_02Keep creating, just keep creating. Like, keep creating. Somebody gonna like that shit. Period. Whether you doing ready with me, you making clothes, you're making music, like just keep creating, post your videos. Like, you want people that's gonna follow you. You want people that's gonna follow you. Unfollow is a follower. So it's like just keep creating, like, just keep doing what you're doing and don't stop for nobody. It's like, you know, everything comes with good or bad. People gonna talk about you, people gonna love you, people gonna hate you for no reason, they don't even know you. You can be the sweetest person. Like, people don't like me, and it's like I give you the shirt off my back. Yeah, and people wouldn't even know it because they don't take the time out to even get to know people. Like, all you gotta do is just get to know somebody, and they'll change your whole perspective on who you thought they were as as a person, anyway.
SPEAKER_03That's what's up. I love that invite.
SPEAKER_02I wanna say thank you for being here. I appreciate y'all for having me. Of course.
SPEAKER_03Let them know where they can follow you.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, um, follow my follow the brand page. I'm trying to grow the brand a little bit more. It's shit, what is the brand page? It's C R E A T E U R D L R. Yeah, that's the brand page. And then like my personal page is underscore dot C R E A T U R. And it's creator because people be like creature, and it's just like, who the fuck is that?
SPEAKER_03No, I understand because I'm looking at it, I'm like, it's definitely creator. I said, because I don't want to go for something else, and I feel like the district felt me. So I'm just gonna ask, but no, that's dope. Like I even like the way you spelled it and everything. I'm like, it says creator, but I love how it's spelled. That's definitely like a different push on you. They be quick to tell somebody, yeah, that's creature. You're telling the wrong shit, bro. Like, I loved it. Y'all already know we should grow Ken Low back, get it again. Y'all know where to follow me at, and I'll be back at it again soon. But before we go, we have an exclusive from our guy, the creator. Y'all soon, y'all know what's going on.
SPEAKER_02Alright, my name creator, and this is the exclusive for the Ken Lo show. I'm gonna show y'all like and tell y'all like how to style a few different things. So, like, um when you have like everyday hoodies, like just throw on runaround hoodies, you can literally style them up or down, depending like like this. This is an everyday hoodie. You can go classy with preppery, uh, mix, mix with it, or you can just throw on a pair of sweatpants, pair of shorts, and just keep it on a keep it pushing, throw a little quick little tie in there or something like that, you know, style it. Like you don't gotta just treat an everyday hoodie like it's just a throwaway hoodie. You can always give it a sense of direction. But like, if you was to style like something from my brand, right here we got uh the war on uh aliens versus America war tees. This actually came about because of the the um you know America at war right now. So I got this idea. So like it's an over oversized, a little slightly oversized, but like boxy cut, a little distress on the sleeves and a collar. You can throw this on with sweatpants, baggy sweatpants, um matter the kicks, as long as it kicks right, don't put on beards. But uh and some jorts, like you can go, you can't go wrong with the jorts with this, like you can give it real with this, you can give it real, like skateboard look. Like you can go skateboard direction, or you can just keep it regular, you know, just throw it on with something simple and keep it pushing. And as far as like the the blue the blue jawn, like I said, with these, you can go up or down, you know, dress it up, dress it down. This actually was inspired by Frankfurt. Um Frankfurt Pioneer's colors. So it's with this, it's like, you know, I did this with some uh some jorts, with some jorts, the button up and some dress shoes, and rock it like that, no tie or nothing like that. So like when you when you styling, like one of the biggest things you can do is just like go off your mood board, um, color coordination, and not even now I'm not talking super matchy matchy because sometimes that throw the fit off. So like play around with colors, learn how to mix things and just comfortability, like always dress that you're comfortable. Like, don't try to go preppy if you're not comfortable wearing certain things. So always dress your mood with suits you, and just like you know, put it together. Jeans, jorts, sweatpants. Um as far as like your style and what you might not like baggy, you might like fit it, so you know, just go with what fits you and do what works for you in the mother.
